On Friday a black man named DeWayne Craddock, an engineer employed by the city of Virginia Beach, shot 16 people in the local government building, killing 12, 9 of whom were white. He had reportedly earlier submitted his resignation. This is yet another example of the phenomenon that VDARE.com calls “Disgruntled Minority Massacre.” It’s not caused by racism, but by anti-racism—with more than a little help from the complicit Main Stream Media, which probably explains its increasingly frenzied drive to suppress facts like Craddock’s race.

City officials are claiming they didn’t fire Craddock and have no idea why he did this. A New York Times report says different, that he’d started acting violent, and was on the verge of losing his job:

It remains to be seen what the suspect was after. City officials declined to discuss a possible motive for the attack, but they did say there was no immediate indication that the gunman had targeted anyone. The police chief, James A. Cervera, quelled rumors on Saturday that the suspect had recently been fired, and declined to say whether there had been friction between him and other employees.

But a person close to Virginia Beach’s city government, who was not authorized to speak publicly, said that the suspect had no history of behavioral problems until recently, when he had begun acting strangely and getting into physical “scuffles” with other city workers.

The person said that tensions had escalated in the past week, adding that the man had gotten into a violent altercation on city grounds and was told that disciplinary action would be taken.

Suspect in Virginia Beach Shooting Was a Longtime City Employee, by Serge F. Kovaleski, June 1, 2019

This story, like all other New York Times stories, does not mention Craddock’s race.

A second story, describes Craddock as “an engineer” and “a 40-year-old former soldier,” goes on to say “Much about Mr. Craddock, an engineer who had worked on projects like sewer pipelines and pump station replacements, remained unclear.” [Virginia Beach Gunman Said He Was Quitting, Then Went on a Shooting Rampage, By Glenn Thrush and Alan Blinder, June 2, 2019 html]

You’re telling me! The Paper Of Record doesn’t even know what color he was, and apparently can’t find a photograph.

The NYT’s motto: “All The News That’s Fit To Print.”

This news blackout on Craddock’s race is unusually severe even by recent standards. Maybe there’s been some Journolist-style secret decree. A similarly photographless story in the Washington Post describes him this way:

He was a seasoned engineer, a military veteran with a shaved head and body builder’s physique. He had an all-business — but not off-putting — demeanor, one co-worker recounted. And a reserved but not peculiar presence, several neighbors said.

DeWayne Craddock, a longtime Virginia Beach employee, identified as shooter who killed 12 in city building, June 2, 2019

Again, no word of Craddock’s race, although WaPo went to a black church and interviewed friends of his parents. They weren’t described as black either.

The Washington Post’s new post-Trump motto: “Democracy Dies In Darkness”.

But the U.K. Daily Mail, which specializes in crime news the American papers won’t print, managed to find no less than three photographs of him.

[PICTURED: ‘Loner’ Virginia Beach gunman, 40, and longtime city engineer who ‘brushed his teeth and chatted to a colleague’ before ‘indiscriminately’ shooting dead 12 and dying in a police gun battle, by Lauren Fruen and Rod Ardehali,Dailymail.com, June 1, 2019]

Still, if you get your information from the U.S. Main Stream Media, you’re out of luck.

A VDARE.com reader watched ABC News with David Muir and reports that it showed no photo of Craddock at all, just a silhouette. A white silhouette.

ABC News motto: America’s #1 News Source.

And ABC may be right about that—many Americans still get all their news from legacy MSM sources.

Which means that many, many, people who’ve heard about this case almost certainly believe that a white man did it.

Like this lady–she probably hated white males already, but here she’s the victim of MSM suppression. She assumes that if the longtime city employee wasn’t white, they would have said so:

This policy of “not reporting race” leads to a false consciousness on the subject of crime, as I’ve written repeatedly before. The DeWayne Craddock case is a confluence of the “not reporting race” custom and the phenomenon of “Disgruntled Minority Massacres.”

“Not reporting race” of a criminal unless it’s “relevant” is embodied in the AP Stylebook used by most MSM sources. It goes back to the New York Times’s reporting on the “Blood Brothers” gang in Harlem in 1964. As I wrote in 2007, this led to five days of rioting in Harlem, because the black community felt they’d been maligned by being called violent.

The plain fact is that, since the Civil Rights movement started, blacks in America have been encouraged to believe that racism is responsible for any bad thing that happens to them, or any disciplinary or law enforcement action taken against them. They are taught to hate whites—not just by their parents and clergymen, but by American schools. (Here’s a recent example from Powerline’s eminently respectable John Hinderaker). They feel, and express, hatred of white society without fear of criticism.

White men who lose jobs frequently kill themselves. Black men who lose jobs frequently kill their co-workers or employers. When black gunman Omar Thornton was fired from a Connecticut brewer for stealing beer, he killed eight of his white coworkers. Before he killed himself, he phoned his mother to say that his victims were racist: “I killed the five racists that was there bothering me”, he said [Omar Thornton: “I Killed the Five Racists”, by Kevin Hayes, August 4, 2010].

Subsequent investigation “exonerated” his victims, but the point is that MSM continued to treat this irrelevant accusation very seriously [Is racism at heart of Connecticut shooting? Answer still unclear, by Patrik Jonsson, Christian Science Monitor, August 4, 2010].

To repeat: what the Christian Science Monitor’s Patrik Jonsson and several other MSM outlets were asking was if the dead white people had been guilty of racism—not the man who murdered them.

To look at it another way: recently, the House Democrats held rigged hearings into “White Nationalism” clearly designed to build the case for repression. Did it occur to anyone in the MSM to ask whether its reports of this irresponsible demagoguery subsequently provoked a clearly disturbed black man to throw a white child off a balcony in a Minnesota mall?

Answer: guess.

In this kind of atmosphere, black killers are being “radicalized” not by obscure webpages, or overseas Muslim radicals—but by the MSM and the Democratic Party.

And when a Disgruntled Minority Massacre happens, there’s an outpouring of rage—not at the killers, but at anyone who mentions it. See Jonathan Chait’s tweet when a black man shot three white people (two fatally) on camera for reasons the gunman said himself were based on racial hate.

Chait wrote

“I’m too angry to be tweeting about these racist demagogues at Breitbart but I can’t contain myself right now…These are sick, hateful, twisted people who exploit our worst impulses, and they have real influence.”

“Real influence”? If you want to see someone who exploited people’s worse impulses, and had “real influence,” I give you the former President of the United States.

Remember that Barack Obama, of all privileged people, paranoically said that when he had a regular job as a research assistant in an office in New York he felt “like a spy behind enemy lines.“

Speaking of the 2014 Ferguson riots, Obama said they were provoked by “real issues.” It turned out they were provoked by irresponsible reporting. But Obama has never apologized.

And this “real influence” is dangerous to whites everywhere—see Jared Taylor’s You Swine Happy Now? Black Kills White to Right Historical Wrongs below for the story of Nkosi Thandiwe’s murder of Brittney Watts.

Nevertheless, among Americans who do know that DeWayne Craddock is black, I’m now seeing unprecedented levels of anger—not at Craddock, or at blacks, but at the MSM.

It may lead to Brett Kavanaugh levels of awakening—unless it can be stuffed down the Memory Hole.

Try and get the word out yourself, on social media. (VDARE.com can’t rely on Google anymore). Here are half a dozen items for you to promote:

  2. Our local news cast pronounce his name “Dwayne”, it’s “DeWayne”, two syllables, right?

  3. For 50 (or 150) years Progressivism marched toward a clinically-relevant mass-psychosis called Pathological Altruism.

As long as the body count is low enough, the phenomenal disparity between black-on-white and white-on-black violent crimes (or just violent crimes in general) appears to be the “tax” being paid to adhere to this psychosis.

One definition of civilization is the widespread, shared suppression of impulsive acts both by the individual and by social sanction. Crime statistics, rates of sexually transmitted disease and relative median wealth all reveal that people of African ancestry are significantly less likely to restrain their impulses, and the culture they produce wherever they are dominant numerically and politically contributes practically no social restraint at all.

South Africa is prelude to the world, if current trends continue unabated. Once a First World country, rapidly becoming a Third World cesspit with rampant crime and barbarism.

White people can’t save the world. There are already too few of us compared to the rest. Whites will be lucky to save themselves.

  4. I understand the issue of misleading reporting and agree with what much of the article says. However, I would like to draw people’s attention to some innocuous points in the article/reports that may be the problem behind the issue.

As someone who worked in Labor Relations before it became “Human Resources” I can tell you that in the “old days” someone like Craddock, regardless of race, would have been seen as an employee in whom the employer had invested a lot of money and time. He would have been seen as a good employee, and his recent actions unrepresentative of history. Yes, he would have been interviewed by Personnel/Labor Relations, but in all likelihood there would have been a what is going on in your life to have caused this/are you ill/do you need time off? component. He may have been asked to see his doctor. Above all, progressive discipline would have been applied. That is, a warning or a very short suspension applied, if there were no mitigating or medical factors.
Human Resources approaches Labor Relations in the same way a mining company approaches an open pit mine. It is mechanical, and you are not a person, rather a resource to be stripped of any value, then discarded when deemed to be of no further use.

I am unconvinced that the increase in mass shootings of co-workers over the last 40 years is unrelated to the introduction of “Human Resources”.

  5. Thanks for the great expose, Mr. Kirkpatrick, of the agenda of this 4th branch of the Feral Gov’t, the Lyin’ Press. Yes, as you wrote, this is a more severe case than I’ve noticed before too. I really don’t think there’s usually a cabal of evil people creating journo-lists and talking points, but that doesn’t mean the sheer stupidity and lies out of these reporters in their positions to (unfortunately, still!) greatly influence the American people is anything but evil.

The news, whenever I could not avoid it (such as at the gym), of that Florida shooting when on for a month or more. Here in Soviet Amerika, we have to go to the British tabloid sites to find out the race of this mass killer. The Lyin’ Press has their excuse for burying this one, as, I guess they just happened to realize, just now, that not publicizing much about the killer may be good to avoid copycat killers. They didn’t come upon that gem of wisdom till right now – not during the Florida shooting, the Las Vegas one, …

Still, if you get your information from the U.S. Main Stream Media, you’re out of luck.

See, that’s the problem. If the average American is going to stay too lazy to seek out the truth on-line, we will all pay for it. There was a commenter on Zerohedge for a long time with the handle “Seek Truth”. We need more of that. The more we get our friends and family to seek truth, the better off we’ll be, and less evil (LIES) will be spread.

  6. @Curmudgeon

Curmudgeon, I remember the group being called “Personnel” more than “Labor Relations”. Was “Labor Relations” an even earlier term?

Yes, the name “Human Resources” has the connotation that ought to clue us in what they’re about. Peak Stupidity has a series on HR – the Scourge of the Big-Biz World (See Part 2, a humorous example, and Part 3). I will say that your point here is beyond the outrage that is described in the Peak Stupidity posts, even.

Why does someone described as a ‘certified professional engineer’ have, in the reports I’ve seen so far, just a high school education listed in his CV? I’m a licensed professional engineer, but I have a BS in Civil Engineering from an accredited university, years of responsible charge work under other professionals, and I’ve passed the state Engineer in Training exam and, after being recommended by 4 other Professional Engineers, also passed the state Professional Engineer exam…… in order to get my license.
But then again, I’m not black, a woman, or any other ‘minority’, so my government employment didn’t tick any diversity program boxes.

by magnifying (often hoax) cases of white violence and suppressing cases of anti-white violence the media create a false version of reality where black people are under attack and no one is fighting back.

not surprising this form of anti-white manipulation effects men with some level of military background like this guy and the Dallas cop killer.

the media are accessories to murder and it’s going to keep getting worse until they stop.

    Always.

It’s because the Nose hates white men that black violence is covered up. So innocent whites have no grasp of the reality of black violence. And while the Nose media hides black violence, the Nose
is also teaching blacks to hate whites……so that blacks kill more whites who don’t know about black violence.

It’s actually the perfect system for mass murder.

I just have a vague feeling that a lot of people reading the article just won’t admit even to themselves what they REALLY FEEL about this event. Well adjusted persons are crucial for smooth operation of modern society. Good on them.

A question for somebody in the know:
Did he get the very people who fired him? It’s usually, for a person of his position, at least 3, even 4 of those directly related to firing. I am sure they spent around…2 hours altogether of their time, getting that decision.
So….did he fire, effectively, at those who fired him?
If he did that does prove that pen, sometimes, isn’t quite more powerful than a sword.

I use a pen to sign a document which makes you an unemployed bum. It’s good to see that being a nigger effectively negates the shooter being a single heterosexual male, white collar professional, just getting into that age when it’s HARD to get re-employed. Good to see people around here have ahm…correct focus. Race first, of course. Funny.
Anyway, I used a pen to mess up, hard, a man’s life. That’s fine, of course.
Now when he retaliates that’s BAD. He can’t mess up my life, no no. He has to know his place. Scamper away into oblivion.
    Not this guy apparently.

He even put, apparently, a good fight against the cops.
    Respect.

  16. eah says:
    @Ozymandias

The point of the article is to show the media was at best extremely reluctant to report his race, at worst they deliberately did not report his race — and after decades of observing the same phenomenon in ordinary crime story after ordinary crime story, you have to conclude it’s the latter — ie there is nothing “scant” about the evidence for this behavior — hence even if he was motivated primarily by race, the media probably wouldn’t tell you, or else quickly downplay or bury that fact since, as we all know and are repeatedly told, Whites are racist and so they probably deserved the payback — anyone who remembers the coverage of the Omar Thornton case recalls how the media dangled the question ‘Did those racist Whites deserve it?’ for weeks afterward.

Nah, that’s not true, SafeNow. To get a PE, one has to take the EIT (Engineer In Training) earlier, usually when in the senior year in engineering school, as after that time the test will appear a whole lot harder. Then, the PE takes an application with references required, etc, and then a test that takes up a big part of the day. A whole new application process must be done for another state, though no new testing is required.

My point is that this is not like Microsoft or Oracle certifications. People that get Professional Engineer licenses are degreed engineers to begin with. As the commenter did state, this license is really not necessary in a lot of fields, especially electrical engineering. It is necessary when one works for oneself or small firms, in certain areas, HVAC, Structural engineering, etc, so that one can officially sign off drawings.

I am in total agreement with you, SN, on the complete abuse of the term “engineer” most especially nowadays in the software world. All these “network engineers”, “database engineers” “development engineers” and all of these computer guys, are NOT engineers, and this bugs the crap out of me. Articles here on unz use these terms erroneously all the time. Google probably had just a few dozen real engineers, if any. They’d be calculating heat loads at the server farms or designing wiring harnesses – that’s all I can think of.

None of this should be any slight twinkle of a surprise, and that primarily for reasons of Ideology rather than for reasons of Race per se.

In the USSR, the Party used both mass media and local events to stir the hearts and minds of the subjects to look around and discover the evil persons whose hearts remained Orthodox/Catholic or Capitalist, so they could be cordoned off and then re-educated.

A Police State uses the docile masses, as well as those knowingly in favor of its violence, to bludgeon all those who might pose a risk of counter-revolutionary thought.

When you adjust from classical economics-focused Marxism to Cultural Marxism, the damning of the rich and the comfortably middle class is replaced with the damning of races and ethnicities. Some groups are inherently good (Jews, blacks, other non-whites if they are not orthodox Christian, and at least doubly so if they are religiously and /or philosophically anti-Christ or anti-Christendom – such as Mohammedans), while white Gentiles are bad, which inherent evil can be relived a bit only if the individual wages war on ‘whiteness,’ which invariably means that the person acts to trash the heritage of Christendom.

As with classical Marxism, at its base, Cultural Marxism/PC is about a desire to exterminate any possibility of reviving Christendom. Its war on Whitey is because Christendom was built and maintained by white Gentiles.

That means at least these two things: 1) Anything done to try to stop or oppose, to undo, this spiraling horror story that is NOT bound up with re-acquisition of historic, pre-Modern Christian faith, morals, and identities is at best pissing in the wind; and 2) national, ethnic, or religious identities that are even halfway significant in the dismantling of Christendom (with WASP being supreme in that regard, as befits a culture born of the Judaizing heresy Anglo-Saxon Puritanism) are, however unwittingly, directly serving the cause of Cultural Marxism.

This is all true. The most important part is that which I highlighted. Biology cannot save the world, or even itself. And once European man became Modern and rejected Christendom, reveling in his ability to create for himself notions of morals and religious expression, his faith settled on Biology and Technology – which is what you should expect of people who have rejected historic Christ and Christendom, because faith in Biology and Technology also defines Jews.

WASP culture, born of the Judaizing heresy Anglo-Saxon Puritanism, took that anti-Christendom culture around the globe.

“The reason staged deceptions are preferred — meaning not involving real deaths or a limited number of deaths — is primarily because real victims or their survivors go off the rails and can’t be controlled. Real false flags with real death gets very messy, whereas staged deceptions can be directed and manipulated. Fakes can and do read off of a script.”

I think that this latest mass shooting, as well as many other recent mass shootings, are/were hoaxes. It was seeing Robbie Parker grinning just before walking up to the microphone and making a teary statement to the media the day after his child was supposedly murdered that first made me aware that this was going on. If there is a high profile shooting and none of the supposedly bereaved relatives and friends show convincing signs of emotional distress then that is a tip-off. If you are unable to distinguish between acting and genuine emotion, that is too bad, but sometimes it is so obvious that no one can miss it, as in the case of Robbie Parker.

One give-away for the latest hoax is that some of the government employees making statements to the media right after the event said that there was a pre-planned drill and that they thought the “shooting” was part of the drill but that it turned out to be real. Gee, imagine that. You can find videos of this at 153news dot net on the Jeffersonian Girl and AllTheWorldsAStage channels. Witnesses were saying similar things following the Parkland school event. In a police press conference following the event in Virginia Beach, the police official making the statement referred to the shooting as an “event.” He said something like “we were two hours into the event and …”. A bit later he explained that “event” was just police jargon for shootings and their aftermaths. Is this believable?

How long do you think Big Tech would allow websites disseminating unbiased truth to stay online once it became obvious that a growing number of average Americans – or heaven forfend, a majority! – were getting their news and information from them, bypassing the MSM altogether?

We all know the answer to that, and it only further supports the unspoken reality that the “average American” is at war with what used to be called The Establishment, but is now better known as the Deep State. The solution is clearly to insist on equality of gunsights to affirmatively achieve racial equality of victims.

    Thought experiment:

A million migrants from Africa & Latin America swarm the USA in the next year or four.
Democrats obtain a permanent majority and begin, from the Beltway out, to go Full Retard.
The bond market finally stops its 38 year levitation routine.
Congress tries to float more debt, but doing so causes bond investors to flee debt entirely.
Interest rates skyrocket, choking off federal, state, local, corporate and consumer borrowing.
The US (and world) economy, grown these past 38 years entirely due to compound growth in borrowing-to-spend sees all economic activity addicted to borrowing collapse. “GDP” drops 30% per year for three straight years.

People will be essentially abandoned by larger umbrella-units of government. As consent to this morass evaporates, sons and daughters will be too ashamed to admit they still work for Clown World. Governance will devolve to states, and then in states (like IL and NJ) run by organized crime, will fail and even more local control will assert.

All roads lead to the evaporation of the top-down “order” under which we currently stagger. When there’s no longer a Federal Judge backed by Federal Agents (and the ability to seize wealth from Federally Chartered Banks), all the forced association of the Civil “Rights” act will evaporate. People will be freed to choose more sensible, self-protective paths of organization.

If subpopulations of people residing in the USA attempt to go full rogue and seize food, fuel, Escalades, nice sneakers, etc. directly, locals will organize extermination pogroms out of self-preservation.

All roads lead to a period of devolution, and chaos will likely envelop certain places (especially black-run/democrat criminal organization-run cities.)

I don’t think the USA will see the backbone of those who keep the lights on (white people) reduced to 10% of the populace (as in S.A.) and then eliminated, or a stable political slavery emerge.

Not to worry, IL’s democrats just passed legislation intended to “address” the “shortcomings” of the state’s already onerous gun owner licensing scheme that led to this Clown having a legally-acquired, but illegally OWNED pistol he used in mass murder.

The Clown had an old felony conviction for an assault, but lied on his application for a Firearm Owners ID card (FOID) and was given one. He bought a pistol. Later, he applied for a Concealed Carry License and in that process it was discovered he had that disqualifying felony conviction.

He should have had his FOID revoked.
Legally, he should have been ineligible under state law to own the gun.
He had a recent history of domestic abuse and threatening behavior that should have attracted the attention of the police.
The cops should have confiscated the gun.

The employer firm that was firing him SHOULD have contracted for armed security for the meeting.

All of this is about covering up ineptitude and malfeasance across the board. But it will never change the fact (FACT) that pistols are small, easily concealable, trivially simple to transfer from person-to-person, and that a black market will ALWAYS exist for such things, and it cannot be eliminated any more than laws criminalizing the buying and selling of drugs stopped the trade.

I tend to agree with this commenter’s contention that the introduction of “Human Resources” has had a definitive cultural change in the business world as to how it treats employees.

However, this recent shooting follows an all too common pattern where the perpetrator is remembered not as a person who would do such violent acts but just the opposite. And then suddenly, BOOM; violence explodes.

No matter how you slice or dice it, one does not simply go off the rails and begins killing people because something went wrong in someone’s life. Even if it had such as for example an unsuspecting husband suddenly found out his wife was having an affair with his best friend; an example that would set anyone’s teeth on edge.

However, to take such emotional dislocation and just start shooting up innocent people who had no connection to the situation simply does not add up.

However, what does add up is the sudden introduction of drugs into someone’s system that can cause a person to suddenly act out of character and even become increasingly violent.

My take on all these terrible mass shootings in the United States is that they are starting to take on an indication that someone somewhere is controlling them for their own agendas; Democrats who want stronger gun controls and Republicans who want to see everyone have their own TOW missile launchers in their garages.

This may sound like your typical conspiracy theory but I suspect there is more at work here than just a society in terrible decline… Of course, that in of itself would be more than enough to introduce such scourge on us. But nothing ever happens without a reason…

The Jmedia spewed pics of Martin at age 11, much younger and smaller than the grown six foot man that attacked Zimmerman.

    “The Bias of ‘Professionalism’ Standards”

“Professionalism has become coded language for white favoritism in workplace practices that more often than not privilege the values of white and Western employees and leave behind people of color.

The standards of professionalism are heavily defined by white supremacy culture or the systemic, institutionalized centering of whiteness. In the workplace, white supremacy culture explicitly and implicitly privileges whiteness and discriminates against non-Western and non-white professionalism standards related to dress code, speech, work style, and timeliness.”

Well, because if we don’t find out, it will be assumed to be a white male by a lot of people, reinforcing a false narrative. The Lyin’ Press is always puts in the headlines when it is a white male, with “solutions” like violating the 2nd Amendment even more than it has been already, and putting the onus on white males alone.

I think you should read VDare for a bit, Mr. Howard, and do a search for “man of unidentified race/ethnicity” or something like that. You’ll be amazed at how many news stories identify a culprit when he’s a white man (EVERY TIME, pretty much), but not when he’s of a type they want to protect, per the narrative. Even worse, this is often when a suspect is on the loose, and it’s downright dangerous for people to not help them identify him if they saw him, assuming the Lyin’ Press does know.

Now, I understand if it’s a general story, like “Iowa man wins big in lottery”, why does the race or ethnicity matter? Sure. However, you don’t see very many actual ethnic Minnesotans attacking crowds of white people with hammers, but he’s it’s a Somalian immigrant he’s just a “Minnesota Man” in the headline, if he even makes the news at all.

LAREDO, Texas – Congolese in Nuevo Laredo. Cubans in Ciudad Juarez. Haitians in Tijuana.

Encouraged by Mexico’s lax immigration rules and held up by President Donald Trump’s border policies, refugees from countries other than Central America and Mexico are streaming to the U.S.-Mexican border at a rising clip, often to be kept in asylum limbo.

In Nuevo Laredo, across the border from this South Texas city, more than 1,500 Central and West African refugees have massed at the border, trying to seek asylum but stuck while U.S. Customs and Border Protection agents slowly process only a handful of migrants a day, said Mike Smith, a Methodist pastor who runs a migrant shelter in Laredo. Some have been there for more than two months, he said.

“They don’t speak the language, they don’t have money, they’re not very well-received in Mexico,” Smith said. “They’re in limbo.”

Large caravans of Central Americans – from Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala – arriving at the border have dominated headlines in recent months, but asylum seekers from an array of other countries have steadily arrived, posing a more complex challenge to immigration officials on both sides of the border.

Last week, Border Patrol agents from the Del Rio Sector in Texas apprehended a group of 37 immigrants from the Republic of the Congo and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, including families and small children, as they attempted to cross into the USA.

Since the beginning of fiscal year 2019, which began Oct. 1, 2018, agents across the U.S.-Mexican border have apprehended more than 27,000 people from 37 countries other than Mexico, according to Border Patrol statistics. Del Rio Sector’s apprehensions of non-Mexican migrants this year has increased by nearly 500% over the same period in fiscal year 2018.

“We are continuing to see a rise in apprehensions of immigrants from countries not normally encountered in our area,” Del Rio Sector Chief Patrol Agent Raul Ortiz said in a statement. “Groups of family units from around the world are traveling thousands of miles just to enter the United States illegally to exploit our immigration laws.”

The first recent surges of Central Americans arrived at the U.S. border around 2014, said Tony Payan, director of the Mexico Center at Rice University’s Baker Institute for Public Policy in Houston.

Cubans came next in large numbers about three years later when the “wet foot/dry foot” policy, which allowed them to remain in the country legally if they reached U.S. soil, was revoked by President Barack Obama in January 2017.

Last year, more than 3,000 Haitians flocked to Tijuana in hopes of reaching the USA, said Payan, who travels frequently to border cities on research trips. As their asylum proceedings dragged out, many chose to stay in the Mexican border city, creating a Haitian colony.

Much of Trump’s immigration policy relies on Mexico restricting who crosses its borders and dealing with those who enter illegally. Last week, Trump threatened to raise tariffs on Mexican goods if the country doesn’t better police its borders.

Mexican immigration officials struggle with migrants from faraway countries, Payan said.

Cuban migrant Felipe Sanchez, 39, is waiting in Tapachula, Mexico, for an immigration document to reach the border with the USA.

“What do you do with non-Central Americans? You can’t put them on a bus to Africa,” Payan said. “You have to really deal with them and really invest. That’s expensive for Mexico. And it’s not sustainable.”

For years, migrants escaping war and hardship from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Angola and other African countries have streamed to the Nuevo Laredo crossing to try to enter the USA, Smith said. Unlike other migrants, the Africans rarely cross between ports of entry, choosing instead to abide by U.S. and Mexican law and wait their turn at the border, he said.

Thousands of migrants flocked to Brazil to work in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Smith said. After the Olympics, many of them headed to the USA. The Congolese often speak broken Portuguese, a little French and some Spanish, Smith said. He has struggled to find interpreters who speak Lingala, their native tongue.

Unlike migrants from Central America and Mexico, the African migrants rarely have a contact in the USA waiting to sponsor them, Smith said. Central Americans stay at his shelter for a few days before connecting with friends or families; the African migrants are usually there for a week or more, he said.

When the Africans heard about caravans of Central American migrants headed to the USA, many of them rushed to the border in hopes of getting there first – only to be stuck in limbo, Smith said.

“They’re getting the worst end of the stick,” Smith said.

Across the bridge in Nuevo Laredo, Kilema Nzengo, 35, spends her afternoons sitting on a street corner near the border crossing with a plastic cup in hand, begging for change. Nzengo said she left her native Democratic Republic of the Congo this year to escape gunbattles in her village. She pulled back a pant leg to show the scar where, she said, a bullet tore through her right knee.

She came to the U.S.-Mexican border with her 9-year-old daughter, Priscilla, traveling from Africa to Ecuador up through the jungles of Colombia, through Central America and finally across Mexico to Nuevo Laredo.

Out of money and with very limited language skills, she said she’s waited to speak to U.S. immigration officials for more than a month. Under Trump’s new rules, border agents use a process known as “metering,” where only a handful of migrants are allowed to cross at a time, further slowing the process.

“We are suffering,” Nzengo said. “They tell us to wait and write down our names. But nothing happens.”

Sister Rosemary Welsh, who runs Casa de Misericordia, a Laredo-based shelter for abused migrant women, often visits migrants at U.S. immigration detention centers in Laredo. For months, she visited an Angolan woman who had been locked up for more than a year, she said. The woman had seen her family massacred in front of her and had a strong asylum case but struggled to get her case heard, Welsh said. She only recently bonded out.

“It’s just more complex for them to try to work through the process,” Welsh said. “Getting people to support them, getting people to take their cases, it’s all more difficult.”

The term Labor Relations Department implies that the employees being managed are considered part of a certified bargaining unit, and are represented by a labor union as specified per the National Labor Relations Act.

Union contract typically specify that employees may only be discharged for “just cause”. The term “Just Cause” has a specific meaning in labor law, labor contracts and grievance administration, and can also be more narrowly defined in specific collective baragaining agreements (AKA labor contracts).

Employees that are represented by unions have some protection against being discharged without “Just Cause”. Employees that are not represented by a labor union are considered employees-at-will. Employees-at-will may be discharged for any reason, or no reason at all, as long as the discharge does not violate other federal, state or municipal laws. Examples of such laws would be laws prohibiting making employment decisions based on race, religion, gender etc.

I have worked in a refinery and an integrated steel mill, where the departments were respectively known as Labor Relations and Union Relations. We dealt exclusively with employees represented by labor unions, and their union representatives and officers.

HR and/or personnel dealt with non-unionized employees.

In years past, the process of what is known as the “American System of Grievance and Arbitration administration” was seen as a more efficient way outside of the court system to insure enforcement of the labor contract and to insure labor peace (no strikes or lockouts).

An additional benefit of the grievance and arbitration process was that it was viewed as a pressure relief valve, to dissipate pressure and conflict in the workplace by giving workers a voice, some power and a sense that there was justice on the shop floor.

I’ve always wondered how these sort of black guys support their children. It is not unusual in my experience for African-American men too have two children with one woman and another with a current partner etc. but they never seem as broke and on the run from child support as white men who accidentally have one child out-of-wedlock.

Most white men I knew who had accidentally had a kid when they were 18 or 19 had their lives destroyed trying to pay child support but young African-American men seem to have two or three kids and manage to get by.

The purchasing power of the US dollar has gone down because the currency is no longer backed by any real money (Gold and Silver). It’d be fine if the money supply was left alone, but there’s no way any government worth its salt would ever do that. The FED ctrl-p’s currency at will, and this dilutes the value of it. (More dollars for the same goods raises prices.)

    Compared to other currencies, per Miss Aero-Engineer Rozumova’s comment, it fluctuates, and the Euro is backed by squat-all also. It’s the same with the Chinese Yuan too. There’s been inflation in all the currencies, hence her experience. All these are left to float, except that the Chinese gov’t pegs their RMB (Yuan) to the $ to keep exports lucrative. That exports our inflation to China – maybe our biggest export to the place ;-}

Regarding the lack of manufacturing, the resulting trade deficit due to our importing much more more goods/services than we export, sends dollars overseas. Right now, it’s still considered the “reserve” currency, used for international trading, especially in oil. However, that’s all changing, and at some point, the dollar will be worth not much more as an equivalent sheet of good-quality toilet paper, and it’s kinda rough on your ass, at that!

The process of…hehe…”terminating” starts in a certain way and can not be reversed most of the time. It’s smooth/well oiled drill where the undesirable employee shall be make unemployed no matter what. True…true….sometimes it takes a bit of time, haggling, blabbing but the end result is almost inevitable.
    Especially in the modern paradigm.
I was told, not once, explicitly, by HR managers in companies I worked for, even here where PC isn’t as crazy as in USA (yet…) that if anybody complained about, say, me, just got unhappy by something I say, I am out. True, I was contractor/consultant, but still.
There was a girl who was quite into “animal protection”, for example. Feisty type. A coworker and me talked about hunting in a kitchen, during lunch. She didn’t say a thing to us. She simply complained to HR manager. He called me into office and we had a chat. It was close call just because he was a man of similar age and life experience.
Now…imagine a gay saying that two of us are homophobic. “Us” being a Muslim and Catholic discussing, over coffee, during break, our Book saying abut homosexuality. Or…hehe….religious Jew. Or Hindu.
It’s exceptionally easy NOT to …ahm….”fit” in a working environment today. Especailly if you are white mature male. Add a bit of love for certain activities (which was required of a man not so long ago) as combat sports, hunting and such and so easy to become a target for plenty.
Add to that management always looking to hire cheaper …ahm…resource (not a man/woman….employee…resource….) and, so easy to go “out”.
Add to that, in most cases, a man having big expenses (one of those, often, ex-wife…..) and, well….we are aware of suicide issue among certain strata of population.

True…true….a well adjusted citizen will take all the blame for that chain of events on himself and meekly go along the path depression->substance abuse->suicide. All good.
Those who participated in that chain of events ….hehe..I am sure they’ll be quite upset when hearing all that…NOT.

And, yet…every now and then we do have an individual who accepts the fate: I am going down, fine….But, you are going with me.

    Termination works both ways.
Bless the 2nd. Or black market. Or..some other means to get the tools. Where there is a will there is a way in that play.

So, in this case I’d say a shortie Remington 870 would be a good choice (just barrel, leave the stock). 12 gauge, buckshot….9 shells altogether, just to be sure.

  131. @getaclue

I think he’s trying to say that if “human resources” weren’t out trying to get people “terminated” they wouldn’t have to worry as much about getting terminated themselves. There are psychos out there terminating people without gun in hand every day. You know, just following rules, obeying orders, looking out for the company, government, oneself, that sort of thing. Well, if they’re going to terminate you, you may as well take some of them down with you sort of thing. Now if more people doing that would make them change to respect more and care for their human employees, subjects, citizens, then the lost lives of innocent collaterals would have been worth something. But the psychos at the top are so cold and inhuman that it won’t matter. So though shit either way.

Actions should have consequences, no? So you want to be free to ruin other people’s lives with no risk to your own? Who’s the demented psycho then? I’m talking in general, not knowing the details of this case. For all I know this guy deserved to have been literally terminated before he could do the damage that he did.

The (((media))) treats black mass shootings much differently than white shootings. When a white man commits a mass shooting his picture is immediately available on all the news networks and every news anchor and media report clearly describes the shooter as a white male. Race always matters when a white is the shooter.

If a motive isn’t apparent that doesn’t stop media hyenas from making inferences and alleging, without evidence, that he’s Republican, a tea partier, homophobic and probably a white supremacist.

When a black is the shooter they do their utmost to conceal the race of the shooter then once that fails the shooter is described in positive terms but the motive is a complete mystery. Coverage is generally brief, bland and neutral. The media and authorities are always “searching for answers” when the shooter is black, Muslim or another non-white.

Your initial comment was pretty ridiculous, man, and I say that as the last guy who would defend an HR “representative”.

The fourth? Getting complicated. 12 shells. A lot of reloading. Time getting shorter.
Well, would take more time to get ready. Drilling is a must.
    Or 8. Just double.
    Decisions, decisions…..

Do you really know that all those 12 people deserved to die?

    An interesting question.
I have one for you: do you know any of those 12 people were, in any way, supportive of the guy? Assuming the guy was, fundamentally, O.K.
In any case, call it “collateral damage”.
Hehehe…do you really know that all those Germans deserved to die in Dresden?
    Or Japs in Tokyo?

Now, if the guy had taken out some particular corporate scumbag who really had been causing him grief, along with being treated the way HR tend to, as a “resource”, then that could make your comment about people fighting back more reasonable.

Hehe..so not really “the fourth man/woman/whatever”. Vacillating, a? Good, good.

… I’ve ridden next to HR people on airplanes, but they weren’t all flying around to different locations to fire people. Many were heading all over the world to find more cheap labor. I don’t make this stuff up – I’ve talked to them (and tried to keep my cool).

    Don’t say.
Still, how do you reconcile “finding cheap labor” and “not firing”, I mean, “restructuring” the current workforce? And, if from, say, 20 employees you can, now, get rid of 6….what do you really think the most likely target of termination, in the current paradigm, is most likely to be?
But, you are on the good path. Keep going.

  134. peterAUS says:
    @Commentator Mike

I think he’s trying to say that if “human resources” weren’t out trying to get people “terminated” they wouldn’t have to worry as much about getting terminated themselves.

    He is.

There are psychos out there terminating people without gun in hand every day. You know, just following rules, obeying orders, looking out for the company, government, oneself, that sort of thing.

    Oh yes.

Well, if they’re going to terminate you, you may as well take some of them down with you sort of thing.

    That sort of thing.

Now if more people doing that would make them change to respect more and care for their human employees, subjects, citizens, then the lost lives of innocent collaterals would have been worth something. But the psychos at the top are so cold and inhuman that it won’t matter. So though shit either way.

    Ah, that is the question.

Actions should have consequences, no? So you want to be free to ruin other people’s lives with no risk to your own? Who’s the demented psycho then?

    Hehe…yep.

I’m talking in general, not knowing the details of this case. For all I know this guy deserved to have been literally terminated before he could do the damage that he did.

    True.

  135. @jeff stryker

    Well duh!

The baby mommas get welfare, sec.8, food stamps, etc., and the black males live off that and whatever crime they can find.

And white men are forced to pay child support, wage garnishment, etc., while black males work the underground off the books economy, have multiple addresses and can’t be tracked down.

Also, the white male has more of a sense of obligation to the kid, while the non-white male feels no sense of obligation and impregnates one woman after another.

Non-whites get access to government benefits easily, while it’s much harder for whites.

The nose has engineered the system to promote non-white births at the expense of whites. Whites actually pay to be outbred. The system transfers resources from whites to non-whites.

    ROBERT

When I was young in the US I’d meet African-American guys here and there who would casually mention having 2 or 3 kids at the age of 22 or 23. Fairly young.

I knew one or two white guys who had a child accidentally in their late teens or early twenies and for them life was a financial nightmare. One young man named Scott worked with me and had changed his name and gone through a long process to get fake ID. But they caught him anyhow and the police made a huge deal out of extraditing him to another part of the state simply because he did not pay child support. I knew a few young white guys like that. Later in life I met a man who would have been relatively well-off had he not had twins out-of-wedlock with some woman he was having an affair with at his office. He bitterly told me to get a vasectomy.

Yet blacks are never sought out for fathering eight kids. And they don’t look as ragged and broke as whites who started a family young. They always have new shoes on, nice rims on their vehicle etc. When you see rural white proles who started a family at 20 they always look poor and exhausted.

I’ll give you an example. A black kid named Darrell was in sixth grade with me on an athletic scholarship to my Catholic school. He was 13 because of having been held back. He would go after the younger white girls, 11 or 12, surrounding him. Among the white Catholics he like the pallid Irish girls with Hibernian looks best and spent every recess trying to have his way. He was also a bully and he and I ended up in a fairly violent playground brawl because I had been held back for an ear infection and was nearer to his age.

…So years later I saw another kid I went to Catholic school. And I asked him whatever happened to Darrell. He told me that Darrell had 3 children by the time he was seventeen and never finished high school.

Such a situation would have been a disaster in the life of a European-American. But this is common for African-Americans. And somehow they get by while your average white prole who accidentally parents a child at 19 or 20 is cursed for life.

  146. Everyone should know by now that Blacks are God’s perfect creations, pristine and blameless, and anything they might be accused of is always and only the result of White people.

The killings that Blacks are accused of will continue until you admit to this fact.

  147. @jeff stryker

    So true.

I’m in CA so I have seen the very same patterns.

I know a white guy who knocked a girl up when he was young, got hit with child support, and he’s still paying to this day. He’s a poor man working low wage jobs, so the child support takes about half of his paycheck. I have never heard of a black or hispanic in this situation, because the non-white would find some way to get out of it, but the white man feels a sense of responsibility.

  148. @SafeNow

I would love to hear more about the school that had 150 “valedictorians”. I am guessing it was a school with a majority of minorities and the school system dictated this participation trophy to make everyone feel special.

I did a quick search on “DeWayne Craddock”. I examined articles by all of the usual MSM suspects. No pictures, no descriptions, no discussion of the perpetrator’s Muslim faith. And when they flashed pictures of the victims, the black victims were shown first, then the women. So, this article is absolutely correct. We are being lied to. And “Snopes” had the audacity to say that the suppression of the shooter’s race and religion by the MSM was “unproven”.

Whenever there is a shooting I immediately go to heavy.com. They show photos and breaking news (sometimes get things wrong) but there is no (or only a tinge) of PC coverup. The attitude that Black shooters are representative of Blacks is no more true than white shooters being representative of whites. Most people are horrified by murder and don’t cut murderers any slack.

Black men make up 6% of the population but commit over 50% of the homicides. Almost all by young men (12-35) and the victims of Black perps are almost invariably Black. (White murders are also generally intraracial). I haven’t seen recent stats (is the FBI even allowed to publish real racial crime statistics any more?), but the most recent years showed that Blacks murder about 250 whites per year and whites murder 150 Blacks a year, small numbers in a country with 10,000 to 15,000 murders per year, of which 30 to 40% go unsolved.

It’s a bit difficult to prove someone’s faith right? Like are there pictures of the shooter going in and out of a mosque? Has his Muslim status been confirmed by an imam at a mosque where he may have converted? Or are his faith inclinations supported by now deleted social posts? The first two would definitely prove it. DeWayne Craddock doesn’t strike one as Muslim and the converted ones usually change names to sound more Arabic.

Also, it’s not as if his passport/identification card lists his religion, as this is done in Muslim countries.

  160. @notanon

by magnifying (often hoax) cases of white violence and suppressing cases of anti-white violence the media create a false version of reality where black people are under attack and no one is fighting back.

not surprising this form of anti-white manipulation effects men with some level of military background like this guy and the Dallas cop killer.

When ISIS videos have this kind of effect, they call it “stochastic terrorism”.

When CNN and the NYT do it, it’s called “journalism”.

  161. @Ozymandias

So you’re attempting to claim that:

    – This man is White?

    – Acknowledging that he is in fact a Negro, but agreeing with the (((media’s))) view that his race must be suppressed in order to promote a larger anti-White narrative?

    – Or are you clear on these points, but incapable of understanding that if a White man had shot 9 Negroes and 3 non-Blacks in a similar situation, the murderer would be immediately and explicitly identified as White in the “news” media narrative, his photo broadcast everywhere, and his motive declared to be so-called “racism,” “White supreemism,” etc.?

  162. @John Howard

Again, why do we care about the race of a bad guy?

Perhaps your (deliberately disingenuous?) question might be better phrased as
“Why is the ‘news’ media so desperate to obscure the race of non-White criminals, and to emphasize the race of White criminals?”

Lying by omission — or by sampling bias — is still lying; and that’s what the “news” media oligopoly is clearly doing here, in order to promote a false narrative that Whites are responsible for a disproportionate amount of violent crime. The opposite is true, of course — Negroes, at 13% of the population, commit over 50% of the homicides in America.

This false narrative is not some kind of odd coincidence, or a mere oversight — it’s mandated in the “Bible” of journalism:

“Not reporting race” of a criminal unless it’s “relevant” is embodied in the AP Stylebook used by most MSM sources.

And it’s been in the NYT Manual of Style and Usage since 1946.

But when is race “relevant?” When it can be used to construct an anti-White narrative, of course. Pic related:

In the world of (((media))) headlines, “White Kills Black” is a thing — “Black Kills White” simply doesn’t exist. It never happens, goy! In terms of the corporate media establishment, that is — you may get some hits if you do a search, but they’ll be from sites well outside the mainstream.

As @Achmed E. Newman pointed out, Vdare has done some solid work on this issue. The term they typically use to refer to this aspect of The Narrative is “Not reporting race.” For example:

    https://vdare.com/posts/tampa-bay-times-and-not-mentioning-race-unless-the-perpetrator-is-white

    More:

    https://vdare.com/latest-posts?tag=not-reporting-race

As Mr. Fulford points out, the Virginia Beach atrocity is an example of a specific type of mass shooting that simply does not exist within the constraints of the establishment narrative.

This is yet another example of the phenomenon that VDARE.com calls “Disgruntled Minority Massacre.” It’s not caused by racism, but by [so-called] “anti-racism”—with more than a little help from the complicit Main Stream Media, which probably explains its increasingly frenzied drive to suppress facts like Craddock’s race.

    See:

    https://vdare.com/search?q=disgruntled+minority+massacre

    This one in particular:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hartford_Distributors_shooting

Black man massacres 8 Whites, motivated by a combination of rage at being fired and virulent anti-White hatred. “News” coverage focuses on… whether his White victims might have been some sort of heretics/ thought criminals. Whether they “deserved” to be murdered, basically.

And when the media deliberately obscures the race of a non-White violent mass murderer, it doesn’t just lead to ignorance. Many anti-Whites assume that the criminal simply must be White — because that’s the (false) impression that they’re given by the “news” media. As Mr. Fulford noted above:

  163. @Achmed E. Newman

Your initial comment was pretty ridiculous, man, and I say that as the last guy who would defend an HR “representative”. Do you really know that all those 12 people deserved to die?
