Well, I dunno about that as the tale of the old battleships is pretty well-known conspiracy theory lore, going back at least to John Toland’s Infamy, 1982, if not much earlier. In the early ’60s, I recall hearing a pal’s mom unleash a passionate diatribe and denunciation of FDR for “letting those boys get killed.”

Toward the end here, I will bring up one interesting fact than never comes up, but it’s not about Pearl Harbor, although I will try to show a connection.

The long and short of it is U.S. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt ordered most of the battleships of the Pacific fleet to Pearl Harbor as bait for the Japanese. He did so over the strong objections of Admiral James O. Richardson, who was sacked and replaced by Admiral Husband E. Kimmel. Both Adm. Kimmel and Gen. Walter C. Short had their hands tied in the defense of Pearl Harbor due to idiotic orders coming out of Washington.

In the aftermath of the attack, adding insult to injury, both Kimmel and Short were made scapegoats for the failure to defend Pearl Harbor, when FDR had been completely aware of the approach of the IJN’s carrier strike force Kido Butai, and its likely mission to strike at Pearl Harbor, but had kept Kimmel and Short in the dark.

FDR, you see, wanted the attack on Pearl Harbor to succeed.

FDR knew the Japanese attack would get American blood boiling to the point where all opposition to U.S. entry into WWII would be swept away in waves of patriotism and blind rage.

The interesting, little-known and seldom-discussed fact I promised is that Stalin had been counting on the same type of surge of Soviet patriotism (if there really was such a thing), if the Germans attacked, when he turned a deaf ear and blind eye to all the many warnings coming in from his own staff, and also through diplomatic channels, that the Germans were preparing to attack the Soviet Union. Indeed, to further provoke the Germans, Stalin had moved up a very large force of largely obsolete equipment to his western frontier.

So it seems Stalin and Roosevelt were reading from the same playbook, probably Jewish, where the plan was to let the enemy strike the first blow so that the Allies could claim the moral high ground, play the victim, and demonize the enemy with neither mercy nor truth.

Alas, when the Germans attacked, Stalin was chagrined to learn that many Soviet citizens welcomed the invading Germans with open arms, warm socks, cookies and milk, so great was their hate for Stalin and his Bolshevik thugs.

Of the three researchers he links to, only Dr. Shankara Chetti mentions ethnic targeting that I can see in the videos he links to. Except for Chetti’s study, all evidence I have seen so far is only circumstantial, such as claims by Iran, China and Russia. If Russia has hard evidence from Ukraine, why haven’t they made it public? This issue is too important for claims to rest on circumstantial evidence.
