A small number of very rich men are quite sure they know what is best for the future of the world and have enough wealth and influence to believe they can make it happen. They can be called oligarchs, but the term is inadequate. They are a special category, the shapers of the Global Governance destined to replace bourgeois democracy. I can name two: one who is famous, notorious even, but very old, and another who is a generation younger, not yet so well known or so rich but probably even more influential.

The Global Governors

The old one is of course George Soros, who needs no introduction. He has no doubt that the world should be one big Open Society – in a word, globalization – in which borders and nation States dissolve into a kaleidoscopic mix of cultural identities in which major decisions are taken by brilliant financial oligarchs like himself.

The younger one is Nicolas Berggruen, the dashing 59-year-old Paris-born son of a leading German-Jewish art collector. Nicolas enjoys double U.S.-German citizenship and membership in the Council on Foreign Relations, the NYU Commission on Global Citizenship, the Brookings International Advisory Council, the Leadership Council at Harvard Kennedy School‘s Center for Public Leadership, the World Economic Forum – and on and on. He helped get Emmanuel Macron elected President of France and has friendly relations with Ursula von der Leyen, head of the European Union Commission.

The billionaire has his own “think and action tank”, the Berggruen Institute, to promote his interests which center on “global governance”. He is particularly interested in technological ways to shape and guide the world of the future. The future for Berggruen belongs to digitalization and above all transhumanism. In a short video, he muses over whether or not the digital age makes us “less human”.

We are all connected and “less free” but we are all “part of something bigger – communities, families, friends”… The digital world “looks less human but it’s still be created by us.” (And who is “us” exactly?) Nicolas Berggruen’s model of the future family may be seen in his own choice: two motherless children manufactured with donated ovules and born by two surrogate wombs.

Like European-born Soros and Berggruen, the United States is above all the current command and control center of the Western world still aspiring to be the nucleus of a global empire. U.S. elections are important to these world visionaries in staying the course of world transformation. For both of them, Donald Trump can only be an intolerable glitch in the screen. This must be corrected in 2020. The entire liberal elite is in overwhelming agreement.

The Transition Integrity Project

So it has been easy to arouse near panic in the Washington establishment and beyond over the notion that Trump might not be dislodged by the November 2020 election. Fear is being spread less that Trump might win the election (too unthinkable to think) than that he will lose the election but refuse to budge. This possibility received a big boost from a unique social event organized by Professor Rosa Brooks of Georgetown University, a leading champion of women’s participation in the National Security State, and historian Nils Gilman, a head researcher at the Berggruen Institute. This well-connected pair easily enlisted dozens of power pointers to take part in what the Boston Globe called “a Washington version of Dungeons and Dragons”, on the model of Pentagon planners who form teams to imagine what the US and Russia might do in a nuclear war confrontation. They named their fun and games the Transition Integrity Project (TIP), clearly suggesting that the “integrity” of the anticipated transition from Trump to Biden was their main concern. Only a few of the 67 participants have been identified: anti-Trump Republican Michael Steele, Bill Clinton’s White House chief of staff John Podesta, David Frum (ghost writer of President George W. Bush’s “Axis of Evil” speech), and neoconservative political analyst William Kristol.

On August 3, the TIP issued its report, entitled “Preventing a Disrupted Presidential Election and Transition”. This report resumed the results of the make-believe gaming scenarios, which provided imaginary support to the growing liberal Democratic hypothesis that Donald Trump is determined to steal the November election. “Like many authoritarian leaders, President Trump has begun to lay the groundwork for potentially ignoring or disrupting the voting process, by claiming, for instance, that any mail-in ballots will be fraudulent and that his opponents will seek to have non-citizens vote through fraud.” It was taken for granted throughout that Trump’s fears and accusations are fake whereas his opponents fears and accusations are soundly based.

The TIP report made a feeble attempt to appear neutral: “TIP takes no position on how Americans should cast their votes, or on the likely winner of the upcoming election; either party could prevail at the polls in November without resorting to ‘dirty tricks’” – a neutrality consistently violated by the entire exercise.

The exercise comprised four scenarios: (1) an ambiguous voting result, (2) clear Biden victory, (3) clear Trump win, (4) narrow Biden win. The game was played by teams, primarily “Team Biden” and “Team Trump”, but it is pretty clear that none of the players were pro-Trump, including the players on “Team Trump”. But the games claimed to show how Trump supporters would react in these circumstances.

  • “Team Trump was consistently more ruthless than Team Biden – more willing to ignore existing democratic norms, to make use of disinformation, to deploy federal agencies to promote Trump’s personal and electoral interests, and to engage in intimidation campaigns.”

But “Team Biden” was much nicer:

  • “Team Biden generally felt constrained by a commitment to norms and a desire to tamp down violence and reduce instability.”
  • “Team Biden often had the majority of the public on its side, and the ability to mobilize resentment about the structural disenfranchisement in the way we conduct presidential elections.”

Russiagate intruded into the gaming in an odd and even ludicrous way: “There was quite a bit of speculation that Trump might […] attempt to rally nationalist feelings to himself, or placate foreign leaders to whom he may feel beholden, such as Vladimir Putin.” Huh?

Nobody Dares Lose

ORDER IT NOW

A particularly alarming and disturbingly credible assumption of the TIP game is that in this election, neither side is prepared to accept defeat. The scenario exercises “revealed that for many Democrats and key Democratic constituencies, this election represents an existential crisis, the last chance to stop a rapid and potentially irreversible US decline into authoritarianism and unbridled nativism.” So, as much as Trump, many Democrats are ready to stop at nothing to win this election – for the best of reasons, of course.

Trump is depicted as equally desperate to win in order to avoid being treated as a criminal. An underlying assumption of this story-telling is that once out of office, Trump will be arrested and tried for unspecified crimes. This would indeed be an incentive for him not to lose.

At this point, it is necessary to recall that democratic election of national leaders depends on a degree of mutual trust that is being lost in America. The United States regularly insists that all foreign countries should elect their leaders by “fair and free elections”. But there are many countries where, at some time of their historical development, this method is not advisable because one party, or tribe, fears for its very life if a rival party, or tribe, should take power. In such States, peace depends on the rule of a king, a mediator, a dictator. The United States can currently be seen to be regressing to just such a degree of mutual hatred and distrust.

No Compromise

It seems to me that if the Democratic establishment gave priority to a peaceful election and transition, against the possibility that Trump might reject the results, the smart and reasonable thing to do would be to reassure him on the two counts which they suggest might incite him to balk: postal vote fraud accusations and the threat of criminal charges against him.

As to the latter: “Participants in the scenario exercises universally believed that self-preservation for President Trump and his family will be Trump’s first and possibly only priority if he is forced to concede electoral defeat.” So it is a bit odd that the TIP goes on to report that: “During several of the TIP exercises, Team Biden attempted to enter into negotiations with Team Trump about a pardon and graceful transition, but those overtures were consistently rejected.” Since there were no Trump supporters on either team, these game results merely reflect the intention of the Democratic establishment to assume that Donald Trump will be charged with “state crimes”, as yet unspecified. No compromise deal is desired.

As for postal balloting, it should be conceivable that Trump’s misgivings are justified. Trump is not against absentee ballots, which require identification of the voter, comparable to going to the polls, but is suspicious of mass mailings of ballots back and forth. In an age when anyone can photocopy any document, when mails are slow and when there are many ways in which ballots might be destroyed, such misgivings are not far-fetched. Indeed, in the course of Game #1, “a rogue individual destroyed a large number of ballots believed to have supported Biden”. Why could the gamers imagine Biden ballots being destroyed, but rule out destruction of ballots supporting Trump?

For the sake of domestic peace, why not try to find a compromise? Kamala Harris has introduced legislation to generalize postal balloting. Why not, instead, extend polling time, opening polls not only on the second Tuesday in November but on the preceding Saturday and Sunday? This would provide time to allow voters afraid of covid-19 to keep distances from each other, as they do when they go to the supermarket. It would reduce the number of absentee ballots, the time needed for counting and above all the suspicions attached to postal voting. But the more wary Trump is of postal voting, the more Democrats insist on making it universal.

It becomes clearer and clearer that hatred of Trump has reached such a pitch, that for the Democratic establishment and its hangers-on, defeating Trump at the polls is not enough. They are practically inciting him to contest the election. Then they can have something more exciting and decisive: a genuine regime change.

Preparing for Regime Change

The classic regime change scenario involves a contested elections, mass street demonstrations including civil disobedience and finally, military intervention.

So, to start with, the gamers posit an authoritarian leader who won’t step down. That’s Trump.

Next, “a show of numbers in the streets – and actions in the streets – may be decisive factors in determining what the public perceives as a just and legitimate outcome.” In an interview stressing “the flaws in our electoral system”, TIP organizer Nils Gilman said that what we need “is for people to be prepared to take to the streets in nonviolent protest” if appeals to officials do not suffice. “We’ve learned over the last couple of months, since the Movement for Black Lives protest really took off again in the wake of George Floyd’s murder, that taking to the streets and showing commitment to a democratic process beyond just the ballot box is a really important part of driving change.” The demonstrations must be nonviolent, Gilman stressed.

As the TIP report put it, “the scale of recent demonstrations has increased the stakes for the Democratic Party to build strong ties with grassroots organizations and be responsive to the movement’s demands.” Certain of these grassroots organizations – MoveOn and Black Lives Matter – have enjoyed financial support from George Soros.

ORDER IT NOW

According to the scenarios, such protests could arise not only in case Trump refused to recognize a Biden win, but also, in Game #3, in case of a “comfortable Electoral College victory for President Trump – 286-252 – but also a significant popular vote win – 52%-47% – for former Vice President Biden. The game play ended in a constitutional crisis, with threats of secession, and the potential for either a decline into authoritarianism or a radically revamped set of democratic rules that ensure the popular will prevails (abolishment of the Electoral College…)” The Biden Campaign retracted its initial concession, capitalizing “on the public’s outrage that for the third time in 20 years a candidate lost the popular vote but won the Electoral College.” The Biden Campaign encouraged California, Oregon and Washington to secede “unless Congressional Republicans agreed to a set of structural reforms to fix our democratic system to ensure majority rule.” Congress supported Biden. “It was unclear what the military would do in this situation”.

In reality, Democrats know that they have managed to keep the permanent State, including the military and intelligence agencies, on their side throughout Trump’s presidency. Where are the forces that could carry out a pro-Trump coup d’état?

Whose Coup?

“During the exercises,” the report notes, “winning ‘the narrative’ emerged as a potentially decisive factor. Either side can expand or contract the ‘margin of contestation’ if they succeed in substantially changing how key decision makers and the public view the ‘facts’, the risks of action or inaction, or external events such as civil unrest.” Winning the narrative appears to be a main purpose of the TIP, and it was quickly seconded in its efforts by top Democrats.

“Joe Biden should not concede under any circumstances because I think this is going to drag out, and eventually I do believe he will win if we don’t give an inch and if we are as focused and relentless as the other side is,” Hillary Clinton said in an interview on August 25.

A couple of days later, former Vice President and unsuccessful 2000 Democratic presidential candidate Al Gore chimed in. Trump, he said in a particularly loaded image, is “attempting to put his knee on the neck of democracy” by criticizing mail-in ballots.

“He seems to have no compunctions at all about trying to rip apart the social fabric and the political equilibrium of the American people, and he’s strategically planting doubts in advance”.

People ask whether Trump will leave office next January 20. “Well,” said Gore, “it doesn’t matter because it’s not up to him. Because at noon on January 20th, if a new president is elected… the police force, the Secret Service, the military, all of the executive branch officers, will respond to the command and the direction of the new president”.

The Bottom Line

Meanwhile, Americans can listen to the extravagant rhetoric of the two enemy camps, calling on them to choose between alleged “authoritarian white supremacy” (grossly exaggerated) and “radical Marxist socialism” (totally false) while offering absolutely nothing in terms of coherent public policy of benefit to the American people and the world. The politicians claw to cling to ineffective office, while the future is being planned elsewhere.

Policy will be designed by the global governors, for instance at the next meeting in Davos of the World Economic Forum which, according to its founder and chairman Klaus Schwab, will lay out the “Great Reset” agenda for the Fourth Industrial Revolution that is destined to reshape all our lives. Nicolas Berggruen will be there with his ideas. So will other billionaires. They will not be “conspiring”, but rather laying plans for what they consider best for the world. There is no political system enabling us to influence or even fully understand the projects they will sponsor. Surely these projects deserve to be sharply debated. But the politicians supposedly representing us are somewhere else, fighting furiously with each other over contrived issues.

The Electoral College is not the most fatal flaw in American democracy. Rather, it’s the monopoly of political discourse by a Two Party System fueled essentially by personal ambition, taking its cues from lobbies, the military industrial complex, Wall Street and the Global Governors.

Good points, Madam. Both these globalist thugs are Jewish. The Judaists believe they are chosen and the goyim are their slaves.

These mentally deranged Judaists are letting the fiction called Torah get into their head. Eg.

    Deuteronomy 20:16

“20:16: But of the cities of these people, which the Lord thy God doth give thee for an inheritance, thou shalt save alive nothing that breatheth:
17: But thou shalt utterly destroy them; namely, the Hittites, and the Amorites, the Canaanites, and the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites; as the Lord thy God hath commanded thee:

Psalm 2:8 – “Ask of me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession.”

Isaiah 66:20 – “And they will bring all your brothers, from all the nations, to my holy mountain in Jerusalem as an offering to the LORD — ..”

But the thug Biden they have picked as their shabbat goy to exterminate the white goyim as a burnt offering to the Lord (quarbanot = holocaust) has Alzheimers, as he keeps saying Joe Biden will beat Joe Biden, and I am husband of Joe Biden.

    See: https://youtu.be/9xFNozxJb28

So the Demogangsters are finished for now.

  2. The idea that Trump won’t leave if he loses is absurd, but the idea that the left will cheat is not absurd at all.

The globalist jews have never had a bigger toady than Trump and yet they hate him because he’s white.

A Biden-Harris win WILL mean more nation wrecking jewish policies whether you want to refer to it as socialism or not. Harris is surely the most rabidly anti-white POS that Biden could possibly have chosen.

For years I’ve been saying that Trump won’t do anything for white people and then yesterday he killed the white fragility crap being pushed on federal employees. Apparently he realized that he has to do something for whites to get them excited to vote for him. It only took four years.

It looks to me like it’s a race to see if the jews can totally wreck all of Christendom before the majority of whites wake up to the jewish subversion.

Covid, the riots, the “reset” seem to be programs by organized jewry to gain total control over the goyim to avert another “holocaust” even though there was never really a first one.

Imagine a world where a young white kid is vilified as a “white supremacist terrorist” just for defending himself against criminal scum, while a middle aged criminal psychopath is sainted for the cold blooded murder of a Trump supporter.

This is the jewish clown world we live in.

Perhaps the best symbol for them is The Dark Triad.

    Machiavellianism – Narcissism – Psychopathology

You can see this in their contempt for reality. They just don’t like it.

They think in high-level abstractions the assumptions of which they’re not at all interested in questioning. So they simply impose them on the world by force.

That they’re not the first people to do this is not the point.

The point is, in world more complex and unpredictable than ever before it’s an old-fashioned, dysfunctional and maladaptive approach.

The effort to create a social order free of control and sustained by force only increases the uncontrolled exercise of naked power.

And naked power, constantly applied, destablizes the social institutions that power controls.

    Especially our economic institutions.

And, if force fails there’s no alternative.

    So the whole thing collapses.

Just look at New York. In that city the future has already happened.

What we’re really witnessing is The Pyrrhic Victory of The Hostile Elite.

Key paragraph to a great article. I predict, however, that while this article is of a great use to the Trashionalist faction at unz.com, it will generate very little interest among them.

What can we say? God made them to toil and sweat, while he made us to sit like effendis and eat. Crackers cannot beat their programming; few are even aware of the need to do so. I’m willing to bet that if they do chance to read it, they will shoehorn it into the phony nationalist vs. globalist narrative that has been created for them to frame and limit their thinking.

When the “evil globalist billionaire” is really right here at home, the erroneous geographic-based dichotomy can only be a red herring for the white golem to chase after, replacing any discussion of caste, social mobility, and development. After all, socialism for the rich is the “good old way” that the good old boy must defend. The golem was made without a soul, without a clear identity, and nature abhors a vacuum, so that the Happy Merchant of ideologies will always find a willing buyer in his servant.

  9. A few years back our brain trust out here in California reconfigured our primary election system. No longer would Democrat face off against Republican; henceforth, the two candidates with the most primary votes would be on the general election ballot. This means that in most elections out here, we get to choose between a Democrat and another Democrat for representation.

This sounds like the partisan shenanigans at TIP. But they’re not entirely wrong — to that pair of Jewish Communists funding Antifa and BLM, you might also add a ton of black ops federal funds, and billions in contributions from 197 of America’s top corporations. TIP didn’t really have anybody on Team Trump, because neither does America.

When (((they))) control the judiciary, the media, 90% of all governments, banking and academia, all that’s left for Team Trump are the voters. And we’re at best an inconvenience, not even significant enough to matter anymore. “The most important election of our lifetime” isn’t ahead of us, it occurred sometime around Slick Willy.

As someone who meets a lot of liberal leftist “Good-Thinkers” I can agree that hatred of Trump has reached a fever pitch. “Let’s get rid of the idiot/crazy/racist/fascist Trump” has become a new form of greeting, and invitation to the hate-fest. And it’s fatal to try and engage in any sort of rational discussion.

This Transition Integrity Project (TIP) is imagining a Biden victory with a Trump refusal to step down = Antifa street action to force him out. But what if Trump wins?

In 2016 it wasn’t acceptable, and they’ve been fighting a covert/deceptive war against him ever since. Now things are even more polarized, so if he does happen to win, they’re going to reject it 100% and fill the streets with Antifa while they organize their definitive US Regime Change dictatorship.

A feature of overseas US Regime Changes is that they set minorities against majorities, giving them arms and blanket MSM support (example Venezuela, Syria, Libya etc). Following that line = violence which is a total wild card involving assassinations, street fighting, the military etc. so the only conclusion is that the ZioGlob/CIA NWO are power mad nut cases.

BTW, I recently read Diana Johnstone’s “Circle in the Darkness: Memoir of a World Watcher” and highly recommend it. It’s worth reading just for her coverage of lunatic French “philosophers”.

  16. Moses only had to deal with the idolatry of the Golden Calf. Today, we have to deal with Transhumanism. For the ancient Hebrews the “existential threat” of idolatry was assimilation with the rest of the human family. Big deal. For humanity today, the threat of a top-down imposed “trans human” future is literally an existential threat to our entire species.

I thought George Soros’ gods were just Usura and Mammon. As wicked as they are, they are nothing compared to the evil posed by Transhumanism. Great is the danger if ever this religion is adopted by our Kings of Capital, the oligarch billionaires, like Soros. And Elon Musk. And Nicolas Berggruen. Each can be likened to Captain Ahab, Melville’s overheated left brain monomaniac. Hellbent on a doomed war against god and nature. their fear-driven hatred and deluded self importance could drag down all on board.

I will let CS Lewis explain it from here:

“The Conditioners then are to choose what kind of artificial Tao they will, for their own good reasons, produce in the Human race. They are the motivators, the creators of motives. But how are they going to be motivated themselves?

“I am not supposing them to be bad men. The are, rather, not men (in the old sense) at all. They are, if you like, men who have sacrificed their own share in traditional humanity in order to devote themselves to the task of deciding what humanity shall henceforth mean…

“One of the questions before them is whether this feeling for posterity (they know well how it is produced) shall be continued or not…. Man’s final conquest has proved to be the abolition of Man.”

C.S. Lewis, The Abolition of Man 1944 (?)

Is this what is coming with the Biden-Harris ticket? If so, the dreaded unification of pink people may be the least of our problems. Maybe we ought to let Trump turn a dime for another four years? Something by which we may fend off this emerging idolatry, and arrest this foolish swan dive into the abyss.

Ahem. Under US law, [15 U.S. Code § 78dd–1 – Prohibited foreign trade practices by issuers], Biden is actually permanently disqualified from even running for president , because of his ADMITTED, ON RECORD bribing of government officials in the Ukraine [and other less well known examples to boot. ]

Transhumanism was an interesting idea when it was created, back in Kennedy’s days. See, for example, Delany’s award-winning “Nova”, where he envisioned a more humane and rational world brought about by the advent of neural interfaces between people and machines. However, these days it has become a synonym for “forcing people to be on Facebook, Instagram and the rest of the shit 7/24, making access to resources depend on ‘Likes’ and opaque algorithms, and perverting human life into one big freak show”.
Ideas generally tend to degrade. There was a time when democracy meant “government with the consent of the governed” instead of “mob rule orchestrated by billionaires with messianic delusions”, socialism meant “improving the condition of working people” instead of “providing handouts to the unproductive and actively encouraging antisocial behaviour”, and education “acquiring useful skills and mindsets” instead of “getting your mind warped into believing that dawdlers and perverts are the salt of the earth”.

All these laws that have been written and passed for the last 20 years or so should be in valid, since no American voters were involved with either the selection of multiple honest candidates , much less the election of a peoples president. And the Supreme Court has been rigged for decades.

“The Electoral College is not the most fatal flaw in American democracy. Rather, it’s the monopoly of political discourse by a Two Party System fueled essentially by personal ambition, taking its cues from lobbies, the military industrial complex, Wall Street and the Global Governors.”

The fatal flaw in “American democracy” is #1, it is not a “democracy” and #2 the electoral process is completely corrupt and incapable of expressing the wishes of a genuine majority of American voters.

Trump was elected by an “Electoral College” that was designed to prevent democracy by the founders of the American system who did not trust democracy and equated direct election of leaders by popular vote as “mob rule”. This is #1. The US is an oligarchic republic in which the wealthy elite chose the representatives and rig the popular vote.

Trump was elected by a very small number of votes in several states which proved enough to give him an electoral majority in the all-or-nothing allocation of state’s electoral votes. This is #2. Meanwhile, Clinton won the popular vote by a margin of 3 million or so which very likely understates the true vote count. We do not know if the votes counts were legitimate or not and we are prevented from knowing how well or how poorly the electoral system works because there has never been a competent audit of a presidential election. When Jill Stein sought to audit 2016 results she was essential shut down. There are no uniform standards or practices in the US state-by-state electoral “system”. It is a bad joke which accounts for the low voter turn out, which is usually about half of those eligible.

The “monopoly of political discourse by a Two Party System” is only possible because the third party in the debate is not heard: the voice of the majority. The voice of the majority can be easily returned to the staged debates by nationalizing the federal elections into a simple, transparent, and accountable electoral process. This can be accomplished with “block chain technology”. A vote can be issued a unique identifier and the distributed ledger of the block chain and indelibly record each act of voting in an auditable format. In other words, your vote can be just as safe and secure as a bitcoin or any cryptocurrency.. Your vote cannot be altered, miscounted, lost, or purged from the system and the election could be audited over night or within a few days.

Even if the Electoral College were left in place, an accurate vote count would have prevented Trump from winning in 2016. He won because his rich sympathizers gamed the system. All it takes is money! But this undemocratic institution needs to be eliminated.

If the voice of the people is allowed to be heard, we need have no fear of “global governance”, Wall Street or the MIC. All countries that claim to govern by the will of the people depend on the manipulation of the electoral process to manufacture the “will of the people” and lend legitimacy to government. If elections are secure from manipulation and the voice of the people is heard loud and clear, there would be a policy revolution in this country of the type envisioned by Bernie Sanders. The majority of the American people did not elected Donald Trump. The majority desires Medicare for all. The Majority wants a major reallocation of national resources, s chicken in every pot and at least 6 weeks paid vacation. The voice of the majority would displace those we currently listen to because we do not have a democracy.

The competing political players do not want an honest & transparent electoral process. Such a system would prevent the manipulators from convincing the people to vote against their own interests as they currently do. The Republican Party knows it would never win another election if it could not suppress and manipulate the vote.

The alignment of powerful interests, domestic and foreign, committed to removing and destroying Trump hasn’t changed since 2016.

Consider what has changed relevant to this context. The mainstream, even prestige, media has been completely discredited in terms of neutrality.

Ditto with all those who presented as Republicans, many still, who have been revealed among the coup-makers seeking to remove the duly elected president by any means necessary.

These two contingents would have been exceedingly valuable, and possibly determinative if only they could have pulled off contesting the 2016 election on election night.

It was quickly memory-holed then but the powers that be delayed calling states for about three hours that evening as they tried to figure out how to get it done. They had also fully laid out a DHS plan to seize polling places and ballots if jurisdictions weren’t on team. All of the still usual suspects playfully calling themselves Republicans had committed to declaring “I’m with her” in a choreographed fashion in the days following the election.

    Those ships have sailed.

So what to make of a “Transition Integrity Project” that baldly has no integrity, combined with anti-Trump establishment figures publicly recommitting in advance to ‘By Any Means Necessary?’

It doesn’t at all diminish the danger for The American Project but it’s worth observing that it’s a continuation of weakness masquerading as strength. This was evident, at least to me, with the composition of the Special Counsel’s team of 17 partisan Democrats along with the intentionally public police state tactics used against Manafort and Stone.

Those aren’t techniques designed to engender sufficient bipartisan support for a frame-up that would force Trump’s resignation in the face of impeachment and removal.

They are instead, in a word, throwing your weight around.

It’s obvious the Democrats and their Allied Media have spent the time since Trump took the oath not trying to win the 2020 election the old-fashioned way but by increasing their capacity to steal it.

They’ve successfully conditioned their voters that the United States is no longer able to call elections on election night. Am I the only one who remembers the surreal aftermath of the Democrats’ Iowa primary?

But now they have to live with what they’ve conjured. The red states will be called for Trump old school quickly. The big blue states like NY, NJ and CA cannot if they need to keep in play the ones they need to (e.g. MN; WI; MI; PA; and NC).

Leaving everything else the same from the 2016 actual, that means that the scoreboard in election night will end with the formal call Trump 245 – Biden 124. That’s the best case scenario for the Democrats in my view. It means they have to figure out how to steal 48 of the remaining 71 Electoral College votes from the five states they have to keep in play. That’s either PA plus a minimum of two others. Or, if they lose PA then they need the other four.

Hi VT. I think Mrs Johnstone is right.

In Britain, the leading country tasked with organising the “Russiagate” fiasco, there has been a very obvious turn taken against President Trump a few months ago.
Arch-establishment journalist Piers Morgan, in prime Zionist mouthpiece “The Daily Mail“, used to be friend with President Trump, but suddenly started attacking his policies and the latter un-followed him on Twitter.

All are pro-Zionist, President Trump and the Democrats: it is their common denominator, the sine qua non condition to even be considered for office.

But Trump is a “nativist” who will try to favor national labour, while his adversaries are “globalists” who consider that the entire planet is their oyster.

2.) Talk about how Trump will win on election night, but ultimately lose weeks later due to mail in ballots. Position Trump as against the USPS, so the notion of voter fraud through the mail is a personal vendetta rather than an actual threat to our voting system.

It is evident that the liberals associated with the Democratic Party are indeed radical Marxist socialists. There is no way that the Democrats can win just based upon the party platform or the personality and popularity of their presidential candidate. So they are reduced to dishonorable scheming, which is an anathema to ordinary people. A BLM movement that insinuates evil, inherent cultural advantages that all European Americans have, and which should be a subject of shame and should be denounced (POTUS Trump = white supremacist. Bad). Rioting and looting (and killing) orchestrated by anti-fascist organizations attempting to destroy the nationalistic and patriotic foundations of America (POTUS Trump = MAGA. Bad). A funny thought came to mind while reading this article. That is that maybe Trump has been playing fourth dimensional chess all along while he has been in office. Remember how everybody once scoffed at the idea of Trump even being capable of paying even a simple game of checkers.

If the left wing Jews like Soros and his far more dangerous son Alex’s plans come to fruition play, it won’t just be Trump who is overthrown, it will also be the Soros’ equally hated enemy Bibi Netanyahu.

Left wing Jews have been trying to get rid of Bibi for years now and Bibi knows, like Trump, that a jail cell awaits him if the Soros’ ultimate plans succeed.

How can Trump stay in power once the upcoming onslaught begins? Who can he depend on considering that our present day military is now riddled with NWO types who might be more than willing to support a coup against him. This perilous situation is the result of all the true patriots in the upper command of the armed forces have been systematically purged since 2003. The final purge of the few remaining patriots finally occurred during the Obama regime.

Who can Trump rely on? How about Bibi Netanyahu who will be more than willing to order (not simply ask) his huge supply of US supporters (sayanim) into the conflagration on the side of Trump once the actual fighting starts. .

Bibi, after all, is very practical . He already realizes that his own ability to stay out of jail in Israel might be entirely dependent on Trump’s reelection. Bibi also realizes that ultra orthodox Jews in the US now support Trump en mass and Bibi desperately needs their support in both the US and Israel.

Now I am beginning to see the reason why Trump has gone out of his way to curry favor right wing Israeli support by allowing Likud to fulfill its ultimate wish list. Trump realizes that he needs the support of the Likud and its supporters in the US to stay in power. This is the reason why Chabad-ist Jared Kushner has been given such a key position in this administration. Kushner is Trump’s conduit to Likud, BIbi, and Chabad.

Trump has now, like a good general. reinforced his support from ultra right wing Jews to protect his right flank from attack.

Don’t buy any Syrian or Egyptian real estate however. Israel’s ultimate dream includes owning parts of both of them as well.

Of late, there was the discredited ‘Steele dossier’ by Christopher Steele, a former Britisb MI6 officer, who apparently was acting to help out a corrupt US FBI.

Back in the early 1950’s, E Howard Hunt of the CIA, at the direction of his organization’s psychological warfare department, financed and arranged for the production of Britain’s animated version of Orwell’s Animal Farm for British home consumption. Presumably the CIA was acting at the request of MI6.

In the 1960’s and early 70’s a parable about a ‘progressive’ ‘woke’ future was created with the incredibly popular Planet of the Apes novel and movies. The book and movies are a thinly veiled allegory about Black/White relations.

The 1963 book’s writer, Pierre Bouelle, it’s English translator, Xan Fielding, and the script writer/story creator of four (of the first five) of the Apes movies, Paul Dehn, all had intel agency backgrounds, predominantly British. [Bouelle, the book’s writer, had worked for the London based DeGaulle government in exile intelligence network, so probably was himself in effect a defacto British agent as well.]

1972’s Conquest written by Paul Dehn has it all…riot suppression gone bad of an ‘oppressed” and ‘enslaved’ group by brutal police who are all but literal Nazis.
Militias and a lock down fail to stop the spiral of events. There is a representation of a ‘Karen’ figure in the form of Mrs Riley. There is also forced kneeling (of a governor no less) to the riotous new masters. It was a global pandemic which had set the events in motion in Conquest.

Had I mentioned that Paul Dehn, the writer of Conquest, had been a rather important wartime British SOE* major, whose area of expertise was political warfare?

In these former intel agents role in the creation of the popular Apes book and associated US movies, was MI6 simply returning the CIA’s earlier favor of creating the sucessful British animated version of Animal Farm?

And then she says it is totally false that they are “radical Marxist socialists.”

How could this be?! Oh, my (your) head hurts!!

Well, first off, Marxism is communism, not socialism. The overwhelming majority of Americans believe that any government intervention is socialism and use communism and socialism interchangeably.
Second, while Wall Street backed the Bolshevik takeover of the Russian Empire in 1917, they took over the US in 1913, and have been building the US Empire, or more accurately, using the US to build the Empire of Zion. The Wall Street version of Marxism/communism is private profit, but socialized debt. The Demicans and Republocrats are both on board with that, but have different ideas on implementation.
Third, the real versions of both socialism and communism are, in their own ways, nationalistic. Full employment is the goal. Immigration is the reserve army of capital. It does not help “the nation” or society, as resources are drawn away from “the nation” and re-directed to immigrants. It also means that there is a surplus of labour. The current Wall Street version of communism loves immigration. The labour surplus suppresses wages and working conditions, while at the same time creates a “market” for the Wall Street commune because the immigrants have to live somewhere, eat something, and most of them will wipe their arses with toilet paper – all done with government aid (socialized debt) which ends up being more profit for the banking branch of the commune.

Do governors certify state results in federal elections? What prevents them from not certifying the results?

Let us assume the popular vote goes to Trump in four-eight states headed by Democratic governors. If these governors fail to certify the results then Trump is denied victory through the electoral college.

The ensuing legal fight, if not resolved by January 20, 2021, would throw the election to the House.

While trump is portrayed as a loose cannon rolling about the deck almost at random according to his mood, that is very far from the reality of how this regime is being worked. Everything they do is carefully planned and organised throughout the regime and among its media support networks.

Trump is easily the most zio-controlled president the usa has ever had. Pure neocon through and through. He has done absolutely nothing towards restoring america’s lost economic base, while he and his media machine talk up a storm about how he has restored industry and a decent job base, the opposite is true. He has been a loyal servant of the zpc/nwo, his america first rhetoric is psywar noise to keep his base of neanderthals loyal and it is completely vacuous. Your head is still stuck in the “El Presidente” show.

Trump is a pretext. The concerns regarding the Cabal’s globalism policies are definitely not exclusive to US or even merely Western people. Yet El TV Presidente has managed to frame the controlled opposition to globalism as being yet another manifestation of “American exceptionalism”. His “partners” in Russia, China, and EU play along.

When someone bothers the Cabal, they go out of their way to ignore, or silence him or her. If even that doesn’t work, they assassinate. They do _not_ shine the international spotlight on _anything_ that they do not control. Which makes perfect sense.

Same thing is happening right now with this QAnon crap. The other side of the coin is BLM/Antifa.

Who do you thinks are these antagonistic forces, and what diverging agendas are they fighting about? Best.

You can look at it in several ways — HBD, religious, money flows, history of ideas, g factor differences, class differences, evolution to a digital destiny, etc.

Right now I prefer the money flow. It’s more or less independent of human control, people respond to it, and (as Marx points out) people’s income heavily influences their ideas and actions.

In this case, I tend to go with the analysis of Copley’s Uncivilzation. Copley is one of the very few professional strategists whose predictions come true. He’s a bit limited in that they come true in ways he didn’t anticipate, but he’s better than anybody else I’ve found.

The basic problem is overpopulation. Population comes from the countryside. If the countryside can’t support the population increase, the increase goes to the cities. This phenomenon has produced megacities world wide. The megacities have overwhelming political power in their respective countries, and a terrible problem in maintaining enough order to feed everybody, remove wastes, stop riots, and so on. They need money, lots and lots of money, and this extraction comes (worldwide) from the countryside. Note that even in the PRC, which has a very nice export economy, the countryside is not developed – “doesn’t share in the prosperity” despite providing food, raw materials, and fresh labor to the cities.

The cities are so powerful that they rule solely according to their own immediate interests. Perhaps they have to, but talk to a person from (for example) downstate Illinois (hinterland of Chicago, Il) and you will find somebody who is tired of living under laws and policies passed by Chicago.

Copley points out that this misgovernment of hinterlands by cities produces strategic weakness. The cities today cannot call for extraordinary help during moments of crisis as the US cities did during WW II. Copley was thinking of international disputes.

The present difficulties (worldwide) concern revolts (active or potential) of the hinterlands against the cities. In the US, the cities’ problems are magnified by transfer of economic activity to the hinterlands. US (and Western) cities are economic sink, and have been supporting themselves with national government tax and tribute money since about 1960. The national government has been diverting capital expenditures from industry to immediate urban construction, and now industry is either gone to the Far East or is sorely undercapitalized — worn out, in plain English. So is the US military, which badly needs recapitalization. This is the same problem the USSR faced. The US will probably solve it the same way the USSR did — complete national reorganization, the equivalent to bankruptcy in civil life.

The cities do not want this reorganization, as they would lose their political primacy during the reorganization, and pretty much all their government personnel would be discharged into the civil market. Cities form what C. Caldwell, in _The Age of Entitlement_, calls “those who have benefited from civil right” — civil rights exist to funnel welfare money to cities, if you look at the money flow. The hinterlands form what C. Caldwell called “those who paid for civil rights”, which includes the entire New Deal coalition less the cities.
You can add to that mix the zombie corporations that appear to be part of the “benefited from civil rights” coalition, but zombies are so dependent on government goodwill that they do as they are told by whoever in government tells them, and cities control government.

So the whole thing is really very simple — cities need more money, hinterlands want to give the cities less. Using metaphor, considerable fog and chaff and smoke has been deployed to confuse the voters and motivate the party faithful (BLM, for example, claims that police shootings are a significant source of Black mortality, whereas abortions are a much worse source). Jews have been called causal agents, and are certainly prominent in cities, but did not cause loss of the cities’ economic base. That loss was from changes in engineering capabilities — containerization, the Interstates, electronic communications, and the consequent dispersal of manufacturing to the hinterlands. Note that cities have been solidly against technical changes after 1960, but they were too late.

Don’t get confused by the various intellectual games being played. The Postmodernists are correct when they say that most of what is said (they say “all of what is said”, actually) is said entirely to mislead and dominate — is said for control. BLM may be Marxist, but only because it is a convenient organizational tool. Note that Trump has no “-ism”, even the Republican “Phillps curve” ideology. Trump represents the hinterlands (that’s the red area in political R/D maps), and he wants the cities to stop misgoverning the hinterlands, even at the expense of severe losses for the cities. His recent elimination of considerable Federal funds for those cities that stage riots, and his proposed elimination of Federal funds for schools that teach the “1619” project, as well has his reduction of blue collar legal immigration by 90% are implementations of these policies.

I, personally, think the hinterland has the edge in this conflict, and that the result will be a distributed economy (probably worldwide) with more autarky and a somewhat lower standard of living. Casualties during the worldwide reorganization will be severe, more so than in the USSR during the 1990s, as, remember, the basic problem is overpopulation, and the worldwide reorganization (taking about 30 years) will significantly reduce trade and food production.

of the intellectuals of Late Antiquity flatly said that the Roman Empire would fall, had fallen, or could fall. Even after the Goths took over Italy (before Justinian’s invasion), the inhabitants of Italy were ruled according to Imperial usages, and the citizens of Rome drew their welfare grain and saw public shows just as before — and thought of themselves as Romans.

Heidegger said that “Minerva’s Owl flies at dusk”, meaning that things are understood when they are almost over. We do definitely need a Re-Constitutional convention to which no members of the duopoly parties would be invited and neither would members of the American Bar Association.

The House of Representatives is waaaay past its best by date. How can one individual possibly represent the interests, needs and aspirations of around 750,000 people (the approximate population of a Congressional district)? So we need to come up with a better concept for representation of WE THE PEOPLE.

Perhaps with instant internet communications available for most Americans, we ourselves could vote on issues of the day. But “one man, one vote” might also be past its best by date. Let’s face it, there are ignorant Americans who are more motivated by appearances and false promises. So they would have one vote. There are also individuals who closely follow public affairs and happen to be truly concerned about the running of our country. Should they not have at least two votes?

I could go into greater depth on this but my central point is that we need to return governance to the true sovereign power in any state which calls itself a republic, WE THE PEOPLE.

I wouldn’t underrate “ignorant Americans”. They’re distracted, seriously misinformed ( MSM) and have no incentive to participate. All these problems are fixable. 1) Make an issue vote mandatory 2) Give paid time off work for the vote with heavy sanctions on employers that interfere 3) And most important of all, provide a package of information (paid for by the government) with clear pro and con arguments provided by supporters and opponents of the legislation.

This would be close to true democracy, and my guess is that “ignorant Americans” would participate thoughtfully and return the trust and respect they receive.

The Nazarenes certainly did. Consider Augustine writing The City of God while the Northmen were at the gates. That they didn’t use the approved expository mode doesn’t eo ipso disqualify their perspicuousness. And in any event Cassandras are generally marginalized and lost to history anyway.

I don’t think any presidential candidate has ever been so undermined by British MSM.

    Same in Germany.

Thanks for your ever interesting and ever courteous replies.

Indeed, Germany has been demonstrating a modest but noticeable level of independence towards the US recently, in particular regarding its economic ties with Russia.

It is difficult to say whether this new-found independence stems from Germany having long-term Eurasian integration plans, away from US geostrategic planning, or simply from Germans knowing that President Trump is doomed.

The UK’s anti-Trump position is more intriguing because of the challenges posed by Brexit.
I believe that British elites intended to project Britain’s new power position within the framework of privileged links with Asia and China. This option has clearly been cut short when Trump recently obliged Boris Johnson to end the massive 5G telecom agreement with Huawei.

IMHO, this is why British globalists, too, are out to get President Trump: they have a different view of globalisation and of the coming form of post-capitalism.

Yup, the clock is ticking and time is short for America. We’ve had a chance to set all of this right for decades now, but we just listen to the newest starry eyed messiah and believe he(or she)will fix everything wrong with America.

Of course all of these “events” now occurring in America are happening because our true rulers and their scum of the earth lackeys(politicians)want them to. Organized, prolonged chaos cost a lot of money and what’s happening in America now is extremely well funded.

“Poppy” Bush let it slip long ago what was coming down the road for America, as well as the rest of the world when he told Texas journalist Sarah McLendon: ‘Sarah, if the American people ever find out what we have done, they would chase us down the street and lynch us.’

All of this is nothing more than the roll out of Agenda 21 on a global scale.

Our choice now is do we die on our feet or live on our knees.

BTW the “owl of Minerva” is from Hegel, no?

Both “Hegel” and “Heidegger” start with an H, so they are the same names! Simple as that!

More seriously, thanks for the correction. Heidegger would never written that particular quote, but it’s a necessary consequence of Hegel’s incommensurate value sets theory.

The early Christians thought of Rome triumphant as bad, but the later Christians thought of Rome as something they had modified into an eternal good, something that would last forever although its earthly works would not.

You could think of “the city of God” as being a statement that, even though Rome had fallen and,as you say, and the barbarians were at the gate of Hippo, Augustine’s own city, that Christianized Rome itself would live on in Christianity (the City of God). And to a considerable extent, Augustine was right about that. Even with the catastrophes that have befallen Western Europe since Augustine’s time (c.a. AD 430, Late Antiquity), the framework of Christianity underlies the West, and has proven beneficial to the West.

Contrast this with Edward Gibbon’s view of the Roman Empire: it’s gone, Christianity killed it, so (he implied) a guilty Christianity should be abolished. Gibbon’s thought was more “let the dead bury the dead” than “whatever happens, we know now how best to live, and that way will survive indefinitely.”

Or, as some have put it, “The earthly city of Rome fell, so what?”.

Those reading this don’t even have the “so what?” part. Enlightenment doctrine (and Hegel) says that once Western society is gone, it’s gone, because people pursue their own self interest and, as do animals in evolution, seek local optima that can be quite different from global optima.

You may be right that there’s no coming back from the impending Dark Age. But even if there is hope, we’d likely be as disgusted and alienated from the West of the future as a faithful Roman would be in 18th Century Europe. Or even a Republican Roman in the court of Justinian.

Let’s look at the ZUSA’ deciders through a prism of the newest cancan titled “Bad Putin poisoned progressive Navalny.”
A miserable ZUSA’s vassal, the EU preaches Russian Federation on democracy, human rights, and other fairytale stuff. Meanwhile, in the thoroughly zionized UK, the government and judiciary have been torturing a political prisoner Julian Assange for being an honest and courageous man. Not a peep from the EU prudes. Why?

    John Pilger: https://www.rt.com/op-ed/500083-assange-pilger-court-trial/

In 2008, a top-secret US Department of Defense report described in detail how the United States would combat this new moral threat. A secretly-directed personal smear campaign against Julian Assange would lead to “exposure [and] criminal prosecution.”

The aim was to silence and criminalize WikiLeaks and its founder. Page after page revealed a coming war on a single human being and on the very principle of freedom of speech and freedom of thought, and democracy. The imperial shock troops would be those who called themselves journalists: the big hitters of the so-called mainstream, especially the “liberals” who mark and patrol the perimeters of dissent.

The MSM journalists have been very well ‘selected’ so that only the enthusiastically servile scum has been kept. The scum cannot stand Julian Assange because Assange is a decent persons, a concept that is foreign to MSM.

The (Z)USA Congress and (Z)UK Parliament (both populated by thieves and the incompetent) are at the service of self-appointed ‘global governors’ like Soros and Berggruen. In the absence of any mechanisms of personal responsibility at the top (like the responsibility for the mass slaughter in Iraq and Libya or for ruining the US industries by the US corporations), the world is currently ruled by war profiteers & financiers, all of them neurotic psychopaths without a shred of moral fiber.

As for the US ‘progressives’ squealing about democracy (non-existent), the idiots don’t even cover their dictatorial inclinations.

I applaud Johnstone for following the money, as far as she goes. Many have been pointing out that, for practical purposes, we are not living in a democracy. So what is it? A “Deep State” comprised of a loose collection of bureaucrats cannot explain the highly coordinated actions of our hidden rulers. This looks a lot like a “traditional” sociopathic monarchy, with a sociopathic king and his court. There is a nominal “people’s assembly” (Congress), but it has essentially no real power. If we follow the real power, the money, we arrive first at the powerful bankers on Wall Street. Senator Durbin has said of the U.S. Senate, “The banks own the place.” Behind Wall Street we find that one giant, foreign bank financed the establishment of both the JP Morgan bank (the dominant bank on Wall Street), and Israel (whose interests dominate our foreign policy). No one has received more deference from Congress in recent years than the Prime Minister of Israel and the CEO of JP Morgan. And the JP Morgan bank bought up editorial control of the 25 dominant American news outlets in the early 1900’s. Thus was set the stage on which our current circumstances are playing out.

That giant bank has historically had major income centers in wars and drugs, along with controlling interest in many other major economic sectors. That bank’s kingdom operates like any ancient tribal kingdom. All who threaten the king’s power are ruthlessly suppressed. Today that includes suppressing voices on Google, Facebook, Twitter, CNN, NBC, etc. It includes character assassinations and physical assassinations. This king and his court justify their actions by their religious dogma, that of their Talmudic faction of Judaism. This Talmudic faction believes that non-Jews are not human, but merely livestock, and can thus be deceived, robbed, and killed with impunity. This explains their treatment of the people of Palestine, who are being cleared from their homes and lands as if they were mere animals. It also explains their treatment of the people of America, who are economically milked, sheared, and slaughtered like livestock in one war or economic crisis after another. “Record profits” for the courtiers on Wall Street come from economic devastation for the plundered masses.

America’s Constitution requires this kingdom to stay hidden, unlike that of King George III. And to stay hidden they are diligently working on crushing America’s 1st Amendment freedom of speech. Already, some criticism of Israel has been made punishable in thirty states. The Constitution put in place some significant safeguards for the people’s liberty, but clearly further safeguards need to be added. That is the task for our current generation of Minutemen. Join the Paul Revere brigade and spread the word. Take back the editorial pages and the Congress. Truth leads to Justice, which leads to Peace. Helpful information is in “War Profiteer Story”

There are obviously powerful international forces who don’t want Trump to be re-elected.

Same in Canada. I never held a candle for Trump. Didn’t watch any of his reality TV. But from the moment he was nominated in 2016, I started to notice five to ten trumpophobic articles a day in Canada’s so-called national newspaper. Since then I have noticed pretty much the same in all of our major media, print or broadcasting. It’s truly unrelenting. It sent my BS-detection meter skyrocketing but seems to have made Trump haters of most of my friends and acquaintances.

Why? I can’t say but I have wondered about it for these past four years. One thought was that he watched the World Trade Center towers fall on 9/11 and opined they were brought down by bombs, thus questioning the official conspiracy theory and probably implicating the Clinton administration. Another is that he also seemed determined to get to the bottom of the JFK assassination. Another was that he was onto the massive boondoggle run by the Dems in the Ukraine, which was also the source of much of the plotting against his presidency. But maybe it’s just because he’s smart enough, honest enough, experienced enough and moral enough to see the overwhelming corruption creeping up on the world and want to do something about it.

Miss Hillary was quoted as saying, if that bastard wins, we all hang.

And finally they couldn’t cancel him although they tried – first ignoring him (too well known), then ridiculing him (orange clown – which just attracted attention), then smearing him (every way) until it backfired and it was the MSM itself which badly lost it’s credibility. On top of that he won the election!!

Trump has a problem from not understanding macroeconomics when promised finishing wars. His sound campaign agenda help him winning in 2016, however has learned very fast that in absent of conflicts the American military industry – an engine of American economy – will badly suffer. Consequently more conflicts were created under his watch. His promise to bring soldiers home did not materialized and might cost him reelection. Being a pro-Israel zealous – hidden during the campaign – might again cost him reelection.

Yes, I thought it was very interesting. I’d like to read it again.
I’m not Right or Left and didn’t vote for Trump.
But it’s obvious that the Globalists have lost it.
Perhaps the best symbol for them is The Dark Triad.

    Machiavellianism – Narcissism – Psychopathology
The lust for power, self-centeredness, brazen and shameless criminality

You can see this in their contempt for reality. They just don’t like it.
They think in high-level abstractions, the assumptions of which they’re not at all interested in questioning. So they simply impose them on the world by force.
That they’re not the first people to do this is not the point.

The point is, in world more complex and unpredictable than ever before it’s an old-fashioned, dysfunctional and maladaptive mental model. One that is extremely resistant to exposure. Not permitting any feedback it remains incapable of correction.

Nothing quite fails like their success.

  131. Huge mistake identified in headline. The U.S. is not now, nor has it ever been, a democracy (communism). We have always been, and hopefully will remain, a representative republic. we’d likely be as disgusted and alienated from the West of the future as a faithful Roman would be in 18th Century Europe. Or even a Republican Roman in the court of Justinian.

Right you are. The West used to re-organize itself every 70 years or so, sometimes more, sometimes less. The reorganization resulted in a way of thought repugnant to the re-reorganization people every last time. Presumably that’s why the re0rganizaiton was marked by warfare or disaster of some sort.

Recent example, taken from Bloom (who took it from Hegel), Closing of the American Mind. The Enlightenment is the idea that, if one gives up fighting and and the more onerous of religious duties, and works productively by producing something or providing as service to somebody or by managing resources (farms, orchards, livestock) productively, then everybody will be more prosperous and can hire professional fighters to defeat thieves, bandits, and invading foreigners. Sounds good to us, we’re late Enlightenment types.
However, every component of the above is either a one of the seven deadly sins, a serious social sin, or unimportant under life prior to the Enlightenment (roughly, AD 1600s through maybe today). Te rephrase it, if one is a coward and an apostate, and ignores his fellow man for the sake of lucre or usery and does not share, then everybody will be guilty of gluttony and ave-rice, and can indulge themselves because they buy the services of professional killers to defeat people who may be desperate for goods, and who are seen as the “other” only through greed and avarice.

BLM and Antifa see the second interpretation. Anybody from the “Age of Religion” (roughly AD 1200-AD 1600) would agree with the second interpretation. After all, a soul’s chance at immortality has to be more important than any reward here on Earth. Ask any of the Saints, or any priest. The average man believes it enough to make the second interpretation workable propaganda for BLM and Antifa.

And I agree with you concerning a Republican period Roman’s reaction upon seeing Justinian’s Court. Rome’s foundation was that it hated Kings.

So, whatever happens, it’s not going to be good from our standpoint. Sic friatur crustulum, I fear.
