While protesters in Hong Kong fly American flags and rip down security cameras, an even more insidious Chinese-style “social credit” system is solidifying in the United States [Hong Kong Protesters Wave U.S. Flags, Urge Trump to Take Action, by Owen Franks, Bloomberg, August 31, 2019]. The Trump Administration is considering an alliance with Big Tech to determine who is allowed to own guns [Power Up: White House ponders new proposal to identify links between mental health and violence, by Jacqueline Alemany, Washington Post, August 22, 2019]. The Main Stream Media wields more power than the state itself, blithely doxing private citizens it wants to destroy because of their political views. Finally, the mysterious purge (and equally mysterious re-establishment) of some Dissident Right YouTube accounts shows that political debate is being managed from the top-down. Every American can have his job, constitutional rights, and reputation destroyed by a power structure that is completely unaccountable–and it’s being imposed on us in the name of “freedom.”

Sadly, President Donald Trump seems oblivious to this attack. He’s failed to defend those who defended him. He instead filled his administration with enemies eager to smear him in tell-all books [John Kelly told Trump his memoir would wait unless attacked, by Caitlin Yilek, Washington Examiner, September 4, 2019].

He’s now taking this self-defeating principle outside his administration. Though Google and other Big Tech companies will do everything they can to prevent his re-election, President Trump is mulling partnering with them to gather data on “risk factors” in order to prevent mass shootings. This reportedly includes using data from “Apple Watches, Fitbits, Amazon Echo, and Google Home” [White House considers new project seeking links between mental health and violent behavior, by Jacqueline Alemany, Washington Post, August 22, 2019].

Only the most naïve can believe that private data or recorded conversations won’t be weaponized against patriots. After all, an email, Facebook comment, or old tweet can already get you fired from your job–even a government job. Leif Olson’s rehiring may not have been a true victory against “cancel culture,” but we shouldn’t lose sight of the casual cruelty that motivated the attack in the first place. Hurting people, rather than informing people, seems to be the only motivation of MSM journofa.

We’ll never know the story behind Jeffrey Epstein or what motivated the mass shooter in Las Vegas (remember that?). But journofa won’t rest until they’ve doxed every Gamestop employee and pizza deliveryman who went to Charlottesville!

Another example: “dozens” of Customs and Border Protection officers may lose employment or suffer lesser penalties after their comments in a private Facebook group were leaked [Customs and Border Protection moving to fire and discipline dozens of agents for Facebook posts, by Anna Giaritelli, Washington Examiner, September 5, 2019]. An unnamed “senior CBP official” proclaims that this isn’t enough because they need to “change the culture” of the service.

But meanwhile, a recent video shows dozens of illegals casually walking around an incomplete border fence—just the latest example of the total collapse of border security [Video shows dozens of families walk illegally around border fence and into the United States, by Simon Veazy, Epoch Times, September 2, 2019].

There has also been yet another attack against an immigration law enforcement facility, this time with a woman allegedly throwing a lit Molotov cocktail [Molotov cocktail toss in Florida is latest attack against DHS facility: report, by Danielle Wallace, Fox News, August 31, 2019].

It’s hard to imagine a more perfect example of anarcho-tyranny than a government incapable of protecting its own border or facilities but eager to punish those expected to accomplish an impossible mission.

Of course, there’s a rationale why speech must now be policed—to stop “radicalization.” The YouTube purge did not come out of nowhere. The MSM has been relentlessly campaigning against YouTube supposedly “radicalizing” people [YouTube recommendation algorithm audit uncovers paths to radicalization, by Khari Johnson, VentureBeat, August 28, 2019].

But what journofa really mean by “radicalized” is “voting in a way we don’t like.” This explains the strange American focus on Brazil and President Jair Bolsonaro [How YouTube Contributed to Radicalization in Brazil, by Nancy LeTourneau, Washington Monthly, August 14, 2019].

The implicit premise, gradually becoming more explicitly voiced by journofa and tech oligarchs, is that only certain people should be permitted to speak. This is also why so many journalists responded like someone had committed lèse-majesté when President Trump’s allies began scrutinizing their social media accounts. They truly believe they should be beyond criticism and should oversee what we say, write, and hear.

What’s particularly terrible about this situation is how arbitrary and random it is. “Radicalization” is in the eye of the beholder. To an Obama voter in 2004, something like “Drag Queen Story Hour” would be a ridiculous fever dream from the Christian Coalition. Today, opposing it will get you labeled a bigot [Crowds rally for Drag Queen Story Hour: ‘It just shows how far we’ve come,by Marcella Corona, Reno Gazette-Journal, July 20, 2019]. If you oppose it too energetically, it might spark a hit piece and that’s your job.

Words and symbols can also be labeled “hateful” retroactively. A month ago, “kritarchy” was an objective term that referred to “rule by judges.” Today, it’s an anti-Semitic slur because journalists simply declared it so.

In Utah, an interracial couple who brought a Betsy Ross flag to a soccer game was threatened with ejection. The stadium management said the flag was a symbol of “hatred, divisiveness and/or intolerance, whether intentional or otherwise” [Controversy erupts over Betsy Ross flag at RSL soccer game, by Lauren Steinbrecher, Fox 13, August 29, 2019]. Yet nobody thought this until Colin Kaepernick declared it so because of its “connection to an era of slavery”–which, of course, could be said about anything related to the Founding.

The System’s arbitrary nature makes it even more dangerous. Already, websites have been stripped of payment processors or access to PayPal (VDARE among them) after attacks by journalists and “nonprofits” like the Southern Poverty Law Center and the Anti-Defamation League. The loss of a YouTube account can mean the end of a creator’s career. Some individuals have been banned from Airbnb or Uber or have lost their personal PayPal accounts, not because of any violation of terms of service, but because of an unknown ideological test. This is the equivalent of the gas company cutting off any California residents who voted for Proposition 187.

Don’t laugh—it’s coming.

You just don’t know what will be decreed offensive–or for that matter, beyond criticism–a year from now. You don’t know if your YouTube account will be banned or not because the terms of service are meaningless. If you lose your PayPal, your bank account, your web domain, or some other necessity, there’s no appeal and there’s no objective standard.

The cuckservative cop-out “Build your own platform” has turned into “build your own web hosting,” “build your own servers,” and “build your own banking system.”

Will this end with “build your own country”?

The obvious implication: if dangerous individuals must be depersoned and “radicalizing” videos banned, ordinary people cannot be trusted with political power either. They shouldn’t be allowed to vote because they’re too easily manipulated. It would be more honest to simply let the corporate heads of Facebook, Google, and Twitter pick the next president (with the heads of the SPLC and the ADL given power to veto).

Yet that would make what’s happening too obvious. The ritual of voting gives the System the veneer of legitimacy–even though, as Ann Coulter points out, what we vote for bears no resemblance to the policies we actually get.

“Authoritarian” political systems have one key virtue compared the American system: They don’t disguise who has control. We know that Vladimir Putin in Russia and Xi Jinping in China are, if not fully sovereign, at least operating at the nexus of political power.

In contrast, President Trump does not seem to run his own administration, let alone the country. Instead, the power to shape opinion, to make and end careers, and to command who is and isn’t accountable to the law lies in the hands of tech oligarchs, far-left journalists, and wealthy “nonprofits.” It is effective precisely because it eschews the symbols of power for the reality. Its tyranny is even more insidious for that reason.

I’m tired of hearing warnings about Silicon Valley’s upcoming Social Credit system. [Uh-oh: Silicon Valley is building a Chinese-style social credit system, by Mike Elgan, FastCompany, August 26, 2019] I’m already living under it.

It’s almost enough to make one wish for a Politburo. At least the people in Hong Kong know what to tear down.

It looks like a controlled deconstruction that’s about half way complete. The population has been diversified. The free speech laws have been circumvented through the use of private corporations (probably funded with government money through the fed). The second amendment has been watered down and is under constant attack. The idea of personal liberty has been replaced with the ideas of diversity and homosexuality. The last presidential election was between a reality tv star and a woman who promised her banker sugar daddies open borders. The current president brags about how good he is for Israel. It’s not looking too promising.

In the Anglosphere, there are x times more, never mind the ones at Google and elsewhere. (Look up what Martin Van Creveld writes about this if you don’t believe me, he has the numbers.)

Note that this does not include the “official” spies at FBI, NSA, GCHQ, etc, etc, nor the ones employed by organizations like the ADL, SPLC and on. Note also that the Gestapo state of the art was magnetophones and card indexes, rather than algorithms and AI.

    I agree, with you..

To keep your democracy and freedom you need to ignore those who encroach on the rights of others. Its ok if the authorities take their guns, but not yours, its ok if the authorities spy on those others, but not you. Its ok it the authorities convert the families and friends of others into phoenix type spies, but not your family and not your friends. Stand by please and watch as the authorities isolate those others onto special lists and deny privileges and opportunity to those who are listed. Keep standing please, but keep your eyes fixed, focus them over there please, cause the authorities are arresting some of those others.

Don’t worry, rendition to secret interrogation centers is for those others, not you. Keep your “it could never happen to me” badge pinned to your hat and over your heart, after all, you are free. Never ask yourself, why is it, no matter who you vote for, no matter which party you support, nothing ever turns out as the party, candidate, or promoter promised? Never ask why Pearl Harbor, WWI, Israel, WWII, Kennedy Assassination, 600 military bases overseas, 9/11, etc. have never been fully explained, cause those questions are for those others, you are free, so you don’t need to know.

When those others go missing, don’t even think eliminated, just mind your own business <== keep your political thinking properly aligned, work only for the authorities, copy into your behavior only the morality expressed by the authorities, and believe with all your heart, the propaganda the authorities publish, cause that propaganda is the only truth you are suppose to know. (Read about Phoenix in "The CIA as Organized Crime by Douglas Valentine 978–0-9972870- 1-1 or -2-8 for the electronic version) and look at the stuff presented by the intercept on their website

Phoenix developed in Viet Nam, watchlisting adopted into USA governed America since 9/11 .

The decades long rollover by the right has more to do with exercising that caution these cowards borrow from their fear of the Jews while pretending they’re engaged in a principled defense of the freedom of speech. Whatever statistical correlation is valid in any other field and as a principle investigative heuristic of the FBI becomes impermissible if it shows that near total control of the msm, social media, entertainment, and finance by Jews must be the result of collusion or outright conspiracy. As they own the msm they own the public forum in America and with it the propaganda apparatus to form men’s minds against everything the right claims it stands for.

What a joke the right’s become when pencil-necked wusses and fat slobs from Antifa can chase “conservatives” back to their cars in a hail of spit and garbage after one of those chest-thumping MAGA rallies. The irony isn’t lost on a left empowered and not cowered by such displays of weakness. The mainstream right’s motto might as well be, “Even though we may disagree with your homicidally anti-white agenda, we’ll defend your right to it because it’s easier to die writing than act.” Oooh, the left must be so scared listening to Fox News’ imbecilic maundering about fairytale MAGA when what it really means is running away.

  21. What no one will tell the American people is the whole FISA Court scheme is a scam. The NSA and other spy organizations pick up “raw” data and store it as “raw” data. It can be searched as “raw” data and that’s exactly what the Obama criminals were doing. Then, if they found something they wanted to use, they would go to a FISA Court and PRETEND to unmask it; but you can NOT UNMASK “raw” data that was NOT masked to start with. So in the end, the idea the American people’s data is protected is pure hogwash. It’s all there and Obama made it available to 17 different agencies to enhance his spying capacity. It’s time this FISA FRAUD is exposed and all of them arrested, including Obama. In truth, under Obama, the USA was reduced to a “police” state. Google RAW SIGINT for more info.

Undercover video shows Democrat operatives admitting they incited violence at Trump rallies:

  30. This really shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone. The history of the progress of civilization, and Western civilization in particular, is a history of the progress of censorship. One of the first things Christians did when their magic rabbi cult took power was to burn books. Christian emperor Theodosius made mere possession of pagan literature a crime punishable by death. Accordingly, it’s been estimated that fully 98% of Latin literature of that time was lost, and 90% of Greek. In a long binge of cultural self-destruction that made the censorship activities of the modern Taliban pale by comparison, pagan philosophers were tortured and murdered, temples to the pagan gods were all destroyed, statuary smashed or defaced. Apparently, this is just how human consciousness works. Any message seriously contradicting the current societal “buzz” must be suppressed and eliminated. If they refuse to be reformed, and are too disruptive to ignore, retrograde thinkers are imprisoned or simply killed.

Intrepid defenders both of Christianity and technological civilization, the blight wing reacts with surprise at these developments only because they are in this instance the targets, and not the perpetrators. Despite all the lip service paid to free speech, the First Amendment, etc., there’s a long history in America of censorship. During the American Civil War, these principles were blithely discarded, with newspapers opposed to the Union cause shut down, their publishers jailed. If today it seems the principle of “free speech” is now being honored more in the breach than in the observance, that’s just par for the course in a society shaped by Christian values. Just as it did in the Civil War, the message of equality has again gripped the crowd. The rabble is certain that God is Love, and we all beez equalz on dis here planet. Anything contradicting that message is “Hate”, and must be consigned to the flames. Satan is being deplatformed.

    Russia got there first.

Well, no. Russia is just a thinly veiled autocracy controlled by the “new nobility” of siloviki (former KGB, military and police officers). It never was a democracy, since Yeltsin ordered the shelling of the Russian Parliament in the “constitutional crisis” of 1993. And was praised by Russian liberal intellectuals and the West for doing that. Already Yeltsin was a “tsar” figure however a weak and drunkard buffoonish one. Putin is his opposite mostly, but he is virtually Tsar in all but name, holding up the three principles (autocracy, orthodoxy, (Russian) nationalism). The State Duma is a rubber stamp body even more so than during Nicholas II (well he dissolved it though when he had enough of their bickering).
The Russian political system is based on the Russian historic tradition, both Tsarist and Soviet. The “new nobility” of intelligence officers, secret policemen and army officers (like Putin, Shoygu etc.) gradually took the power from the robber barons (mostly Jewish, young (in 1991) former Komsomol cadres etc. who clearly had good friends in the US helping them in taking over the economy) who privatised vast swaths of the Russian economy in the 90’s. Those who accepted defeat were allowed to keep their wealth, some in exile though. Putin outplayed them masterfully, starting as “their” guy. In that he is a little similar to Viktor Orban, who started as a neoliberal ideologue, very far from being a nationalist, he got a stipend from Soros to study in Oxford.

I’m not so sure. From a perspective of someone outside the US, I’d say anyone who supports US imperialism and its wars is right wing no matter what they paint themselves to be or others define them as. Reagan was supposedly right wing, yet all those who came after him have caused much more havoc and devastation from their wars so I’d say they are bloody fascists bordering on being Nazis, the whole lot that has ran US since his time, and his right wing phase was just a transition to this far more extreme right wing policy. The fact that you’ve all gone gay, tranny, multiculti, feminist, PC, is just fake, pseudo liberal leftism as far as I’m concerned. My commiserations if you’re suffering from some of it too in the US, such as restrictions on your freedom of speech, expression, thought, increased surveillance, repression, gun rights, etc. – just part and parcel of the same package. You call it communism, I call it fascism. All those focusing their hatred on antifa, or the alt-right for that matter, are missing the point; they’re very minor players in the scheme of things over there. And there’s more. Why would any left wing government or elite outsource its industry to China or anywhere overseas? How does that favour the working class? Why would any left wing government or elite favour importing immigrants to compete with locals for lower paying jobs at worse conditions and threaten all those gains the working class has achieved over there through its bitter struggle against capitalists and blackleg scabs over the preceding century? And so on and so forth. Turn to housing, mortgages, banking, education (you now pay through the nose and get seriously in debt to get it), health (you pay for that too), pensions, and more. How can you conceivably consider such a society, its government and elite of billionaires and millionaires that run things, as being socialist, communist, or left wing? I know you can go on about cultural Marxism and all that but what does that mean in real economic terms that really affect the life of your people? Just some ideas for a zany lifestyle, that’s all that Cultural Marxism represents. Not healthy that’s for sure and helps in the general degradation and corrosion of society, but its just a diversion and distraction from what really underpins your society and how it is really structured. The long march through the institutions by a bunch of faggoty boomers screeching about feminism, human rights, gender issues, and other irrelevant nonsense has been no revolution and represents no real threat to the capitalists that rule your world. If they have ever been revolutionaries in their youth when they started off on their long march they have by now been coopted and bought off. They have not commandeered the system but rather the system has commandeered them, while perhaps allowing them to indulge in some of their extravagances and eccentricities that some consider to be “liberal” or “left wing”. Just my opinion. If we disagree it’s probably because of the definition of terms.

  40. Beijinger says:

Please don’t call it China-style and blame China as origin for this social credit system. We actually learned it from your bank credit card system.
We don’t have any personal bankruptcy system in China, if one person is in debt and he decide not to pay back, there’s not much we can do about it. We needed some system to help find out such kind awful person and avoid lend him money, that when we started learn from you and find your credit card system!
You are totally right about that we are not innovative and we copy: we copy and develop this social credit system from you!
There are plenty other good stuffs we copy/learn and develop from you, you don’t call them China-style. Why did the honor for social credit system? You hypocrite.

  41. Americans said that they hated freedom 100 years ago because the environment was dirty, there were murders, and medicine was dangerous, but the US is now a police state and the environment is still dirty, there are still murders, and medicine is still dangerous.
