Demands to defund police departments quite naturally raise the prospect of anarchy, or, as Thomas Hobbes would put it, “…the life of man, solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short” (Leviathan, i. xiii. 9). Nevertheless, this dystopian prospect need not be all that unwelcome, even for fans of strict law and order. And, going a step further in an unexpected direction, de-policing might create the harmonious racial segregation favored by both race realists and black separatists.

Begin by recognizing that policing is inherently selective, and selectivity ultimately rests on culture and it is hardly controversial to say that African Americans and whites typically embrace unlike cultures. It then follows that de-policing might create separate culture-based enclaves.

Moreover, not even the most crazed city council activist actually wants zero policing. Political leaders are always, at least to some degree, sensitive to tax-paying voters, and officials even on the Left will accept adequate law enforcement lest taxpayers flee and thus deplete budgets– no handouts and social engineering schemes. Those who demand protection will receive it, albeit from a police force that may not physically resemble the hard-boiled white cops of yesteryear.

The real issue behind de-policing concerns what occurs in black neighborhoods and stated plainly, inner city residents reject the “white” version of law and order. For many urban blacks, what most whites view as “law and order” resembles colonial rule imposed by an occupying foreign power. Again, it is not policing per se; it is who is arrested, for what offense and with what consequences. A felony in wealthy Palo Alto may be a petty nuisance in poverty-stricken East Palo Alto. It is a false dichotomy to insist that the battle is between law vs. anarchy.

Blacks and non-blacks just diverge on “quality of life.” To most middle-class whites, poor black neighborhoods are “plagued” by trash, gang graffiti, public intoxication, open petty drug-dealing, tricked-out cars drag racing on city streets, feral hookers, drunks sleeping it off on park benches, extensive loitering, people socializing with drivers in cars stopped in the middle of the road, food vendors without department of health certificate, irritating loud music, all behaviors technically unlawful but “normal” in these settings. A general ambiance that may be marginally legal but nevertheless irritates middle-class whites: dilapidated stores with garish signs, auto repair shops expropriating public sidewalks to park customer’s cars, venders hawking cheap made-in-China crap, over-grown trash-filled empty lots and abandoned cars peacefully at rest. Tellingly, efforts to clean up such “disorder” are futile—like weeds, conditions return almost immediately, and locals hardly seem bothered by the reemergence. In military terms, an invading army of gentrifying white hipsters may require years of pacification to “cure” a poor black area of its distinctive character.

De-policing may well bring good news for both the locals who appreciate their own quality of life and the police. Obviously, the locals will welcome police non-interference in activities culturally deemed normal and certainly not harmful (“victimless crimes” in sociology-speak). In fact, more than a few locals can only wonder why Washington invests millions in iffy tax-abatement schemes to revitalize the inner-city while simultaneously harassing profit-making business such as hawking fake designer handbags.

Less obvious, but just as consequential, urban cops probably recognize that what they may personally view as pathologies are acceptable to many inner-city residents. They further know from past experience that enforcing the law against locals and their culture may well trigger riots. Yes, the corner crap game with its loud, intoxicated participants undermines urban quality of life, but breaking it up, arresting everyone and taking all the money as “evidence” (and the locals know that the money will vanish) may well spiral out of control. The upshot is that especially in light of recent mayhem—Baltimore, Ferguson etc., –abandoning policing here altogether would not entirely be unwelcome by the cops themselves save in extreme emergencies.

Today’s harsh colonial rule was not always the case. The regulation of gambling, prostitution, loan sharking, selling “hot” merchandise, and drug dealing among other tolerated ghetto behaviors was once handled largely by bribery, not forceful policing. The Mafia frequently ran ghetto rackets and paid off the police, and everything was peaceful since violence hurt business. Economic self-interest meant those selling liquor illegally or narcotics were motivated to keep order since fights would invite the police, hurt business and, worse, require a bribe. Gambling dens could not attract profitable high rollers if these customers felt uncomfortable by drunks sleeping in doorways. If somebody was to be taken out, it was accomplished professionally, not by self-appointed amateurs shooting into crowded funeral processions. To be sure, restoring Mafia rule or bribery would hardly transform the ghetto, but such non-police measures did reduce the odds of a police intervention going awry. The local crime boss would always relocate the corner crap game off the street so as not to temp a passing police officer, and only a crazy person would complain of harassment. In sum, home rule existed albeit often corruption based.

The financial benefits of urban “troop withdrawal” are considerable. Court dockets would shrink, there would be fewer parole and probation officers, fewer Public Defenders and with declining arrests, less mass incarceration. There is also a dirty little secret about geography based de-policing—few outside the inner city really care about violence and mayhem there. Actually, more than a few may welcome the killing provided outsiders were spared. As for society in general being overrun with criminals, miscreants would surely know that with culturally sensitive law-enforcement, better to avoid nicer neighborhoods were what is tolerated in the hood may bring jailtime elsewhere. Culturally sensitive policing cuts both ways.

ORDER IT NOW

What would de-policing look like? One possibility is offered by a Minneapolis group Building a Police Free Future that at least has given some thought to this possibility. Predictably, they reject the very idea of a police presence in the inner-city: “American police departments were originally created to dominate and criminalize communities of color and poor white workers, a job they continue doing to this day.”

Now for the good news: those demanding de-funding only want to target black neighborhoods, nothing pertains to whites, Asians or Hispanics. Boiled down to its essentials, it’s about getting the police off their backs, a world where, in effect, blacks can be blacks without being bossed around by culturally insensitive white cop outsiders (“strangers with guns”). It is assumed, moreover, that members of the community are capable of self-government, keeping the peace and preventing the mayhem so commonplace in today’s ghetto and if de-policing were put to a vote, it would win handily.

This self-sufficiency rests on creating the therapeutic state. To quote, “… we want to create space for more mental health service providers, social workers, victim/survivor advocates, religious leaders, neighbors, healers, and friends– all of the people who really make up the fabric of a community– to look out for one another.” Left unsaid, but obviously true, nearly all these therapeutic positions, paid for by police department budget cuts, will be largely filled by local African Americans. Everything just echoes the Great Society.

Will this therapeutic approach cut crime, make the inner city a better place to live? Who knows, but to the extent that crime exists exclusively as a statistic, the answer is “yes.” Crime will decline since it will be redefined and not officially be counted. An apprehended shoplifter might be counseled on the harm he has inflicted on the shopkeeper, and then released with no arrest (public schools call this approach “Restorative Justice”). There can be no police brutality or racist cops where there are no cops. As for murder, recall the days of the Wild West when those shot to death in a duel were “killed in a fair fight” and no homicide charges were filed (moreover, inner-city residents have seemingly acclimated to deadly shootings and a few more may not make much difference). And who ever heard of social worker brutality? In a setting where many crimes go unreported, barely anybody is charged, and conviction are rare, de-criminalization may be business as usual.

This community-based non-police approach is not as absurd or novel as it may initially appear. The Amish, Hasidic Jews among other religious sects typically settle all disputes among themselves without recourse to government funded police or courts. The Ottoman Empire flourished for centuries thanks to a system of millets where communities addressed their problems with their own laws. Ethnic-based gangs like the Russian Vory v Zakone similarly use this community law approach. Perhaps it really is time to abolish “strangers with guns.”

  1. And who ever heard of social worker brutality?

No, when they want to tyrannize—as many do—they go in with armed escort. Defunding police may be thought of as the Social Worker Straightening Up Act of 2020. They’ll get tuned for sure, and it’s past time.

“Tellingly, efforts to clean up such “disorder” are futile—like weeds, conditions return almost immediately, and locals hardly seem bothered by the reemergence.”
That’s because there is NO ‘disorder’, that’s just them being themselves.
“To most middle-class whites, poor black neighborhoods are “plagued” by trash, gang graffiti, public intoxication […]” Likewise, to Blacks, White standards, such as, what Whites call ‘punctuality’, ‘hard work’ etc., is a PLAGUE; Funnily, there’s indeed White Supremacy in America: to subject Blacks to White standards is oppressive – and, quite frankly, it’s also racist.

The SJWs, the Regressive Left, the Woke Left (whatever you call ’em) are RIGHT, though for the wrong reasons, that DECOLONISATION is urgently needed.

“Municipal police departments” are a relatively new phenomenon in the grand scheme of human civilization. This concept of “law enforcement” is beholden to the power structure and not to the citizenry.
In “the good old days”, the “sheriff” was the chief “law enforcement” individual in the county and had broad reign in his respective jurisdiction. When the need arose, ordinary citizens were “deputized” and were given limited “police authority” at the discretion of the “sheriff”. This was used during emergencies when there was a need for “manpower”.
Today, this has morphed into the need for permanently appointed sheriff’s deputies.
In order for a sheriff to be elected (and re-elected) he has to have a good reputation among the citizenry. Accountability to the citizenry is a large part of the equation.
Fast forward to today, where the “chief of police” in the major urban areas is quite often a political “hack” whose allegiance is to the mayor and power structure, not the citizenry. This is a large part of the problem as it fosters an “us vs. them” attitude, where the citizenry (us) is considered to be the “enemy”. It gets worse, as city officials “pull back” their police when they should be doing just the opposite.
The concept of “immunity” for public officials has been expanded to the point that police departments operate with impunity and have no problem abusing their power as the prosecutors, courts, and in general the “system” is heavily stacked against the victim of police abuses. It is almost impossible to sue police departments for abuses committed by their personnel.
Individual police officers cannot be sued as they are “protected” from lawsuits by their official “immunity”. Even with incontrovertible video and audio evidence, police are rarely convicted of crimes. Juror intimidation is a large factor in the inability to reign in the “bad apples”. Police unions play a large part in whitewashing criminal behavior by police.
Immunity negates responsibility and must be abolished.
What we are experiencing today is “blowback”, something that I feared would occur, with the increasing number of publicized police abuse cases. Those who are attacking police see only the uniform and not the person wearing it.
Not a good situation for either police or the citizenry…
Just maybe it is time to abolish municipal police departments and go back to the sheriff model of “law enforcement”.

  6. Eighthman says:

“let them be. Blind guides is what they are. If a blind man leads a blind man, both will fall into a pit”.

The problem will be criminals who seek asylum in lawless neighborhoods and their leaders who refuse extradition. Walls will be needed to enforce some form of segregation. MLK would be horrified.

Which came first the crime or the police?
The ramping up of police departments has always been a political response to increased crime – mostly violent. The kid stealing candy from the neighbourhood corner store was dealt with by the shop owner calling the parents, and the parents kicking the kid’s arse. When parents stopped kicking the kid’s arse, the shop owner was left having to involve the police, who didn’t care about one kid stealing candy. When the one kid stealing candy grew up to become a violent thug, the rest of the neighbourhood would take him down a notch or two, by several of them beating the crap out of the one. The police departments began to expand, when there became more thugs than normal people. That included organized crime.

Police unions play a large part in whitewashing criminal behavior by police.

You, like most others, fail to understand, that any union is required to fairly represent its members. That means requiring the employer to follow due process. Due process includes the presumption of innocence. In this recent Minneapolis case, there is no way a proper investigation could have been conducted before the cops were fired. That is often the case. I have other doubts about the reality of the George Floyd narrative, but I will presume the event was not staged. Just like the Rodney King incident, a 30 second video clip of something that had developed over a much longer period is not necessarily representative of the entire event.
I’m not going to say cops haven’t improperly killed people, they have. The question is, how did we arrive at the present? I know cops who have been jumped and had the shit kicked out of them when they were still walking beats. The response was no more beats, just cars, because of the attacks. When cops had to start getting out of cars, it was often for more violent confrontations, which led to more weaponizing of police.
In short, the police have become what they have become because of more violence in society, a lot of it directed against them. The days of neighbourhood thugs obeying lawful orders are long gone. Blaming the police is easy, because they are visible. The process for getting where we are has been long. They won’t be fixed overnight or with a magic wand.

The biggest increase in cop tyranny since the 50s was post-9/11/2001 ‘terrorist’ hysteria. Those arm-splayed turds transformed overnight into BS artists operating under a ‘homeland security’ delusion/excuse and savior/bully complex. It didn’t start to ease until ~2009, and then just barely. It was worsened by the influx of battle-flipped tatted psychos returning from abroad, injected into ‘law enforcement’, complete with military gear and outfits. Perfect! Their absolute crap treatment of ME civilians wasn’t thwarted overmuch when imported here.

You, like most others, fail to understand, that any union is required to fairly represent its members. That means requiring the employer to follow due process. Due process includes the presumption of innocence.

Your ‘presumption of innocence’ hobby horse has worn springs. Unions aren’t required to even exist. ‘Presumption of innocence’! How precious. I’ve seen cops testilie repeatedly. They’re usually lying, unethical, oath-breaking scum. They lie on the stand as a matter of course, and you’re talking due process. Step off! If they’re to exist, they should be fireable without stated cause, much less ‘due process’ and anything else they deny their victims. IMO, anyone wanting to be a cop should, at minimum, be strapped 24hrs/day to an audio/video recorder that may not be disabled without mandatory firing—including days off, vacation… everything. And it should all be viewable by anyone on demand, unless temporarily flagged for rare exceptions. Don’t like it? Get a real job.

Re presumption, the Holy Badged are routinely presumed by judges to be unimpeachable sources of objective truth. What a crock you are, running interference for career sociopaths and tax burners.

In short, the police have become what they have become because of more violence in society, a lot of it directed against them.

I’m more ethical and crime-free than any cop you’ve ever met. I loathe criminals, and I loathe cops more than conventional criminals—because they’re imposters and traitors, bullying people they pretend to protect, and we’re not allowed to kick their asses.

Blaming the police is easy, because they are visible.

Always an out. Never the fault of the scum elephant in the room. You’re delusional.

The reason some ‘conservatives’ insist that cops are generally great people is that cops react positively to servile homos licking cop ballsack, something ‘conservatives’ were born for. Those great guys that you and the other queers know flip to their true selves in the presence of lawful resistance. You wouldn’t know about that.

  9. One-size-fits-all punishments for petty offenses are part of the problem. A large fine is an annoyance to a person of means. To a ghetto-dweller, it could be catastrophic (eviction, car impounded, debt default ) .

There used to be areas known as ‘combat zones’ in major cities in the 1970’s. It was understood that these areas had a more loose standard of policing.

Drug War. That’s the only reason any of this happened. Nothing to do with robbing candy stores, didn’t start with “suddenly the kids got out of control”.

Outside of drug fueled robbery and all of the destruction the drug war has created, and all the symptoms and incidents of that war (why does the ghetto look like a war zone again?) none of this could happen. Combine that with the who “strategy of tension”, which is designed to support “Crapitalism”. No landlords extracting rent, no cops invading the hood, no poverty and no ghetto.

How many lives have been ruined this way? The market is never allowed to clear, people are never allowed to hit rock bottom so they can climb upward again, and evolution is never allowed to proceed. We have been frozen in time in many ways for the last 50 years, and now it’s starting to crumble.

Defunding the police is a terrible idea. The denizens of the ghetto will just move out – into your neighborhood – as conditions deteriorate. Here at the house, I have a couple of decades plus of military experience. I have tools to dig in or out of natural disasters. I have extinguishers and hoses. I have a field trauma kit and bandages. I have weapons both melee and firearm. I know how to use them. I know how to trench, support and revet. I understand the fire triangle and appropriate approaches. I understand breathing, bleeding and shock. I know how to detain, restrain and control. I have done all of these at least occasionally, professionally. I’ve stood on top of a collapsing levee in a flood. I’ve fought a structure fire from inside so we could get everyone out before the fire department showed up, which only took two minutes, but people can die that fast. I’ve had structures collapse while I was working on them. I’ve been in an aircraft that had a “mechanical” on approach and had to be repaired in-flight before landing. I’ve helped control a brush fire. I’ve hauled disabled vehicles out of ditches in sub-zero weather.

My ex wife has over a decade of service and some of the same training.

We have trained our young adult children.

My wife is a rancher who knows her way around a shotgun, livestock, sutures and tools, hurricanes and floods, and works in investigations professionally.

Our current house guest is another veteran.

This means if anything happens at the house, and last year we had a lightning strike, a tornado and a flood within 10 days’ we’re pretty well prepared.

Now, we’re probably better off than 95% of the households out there. The level of disaster that necessitates backup varies.

If we find it necessary to call 911, it means the party is in progress and it’s bad.

You will probably not be going home safe at the end of your shift.

And you know what? If it gets to that point, I really don’t give a shit. I don’t give a shit if you get smoked. I don’t give a shit if you fall under a tree. I don’t give a shit if you get shot at.

Because at that point, I’ve done everything I can with that same circumstance, and run out of resources.

If my concern was “you going home safe,” then I’d just fucking hunker down and die. Because I wouldn’t want that poor responder to endanger himself.

Except, that’s what I pay taxes for, and that’s what you signed up for. Just like I signed up to walk into a potential nuke war in Germany and hold off the Soviets, and did walk into the Middle East and prepare to take fire while keeping expensive equipment functioning so our shooters could keep shooting.

There’s not a single set of orders I got that said my primary job was to “Come home safe.” They said it was to “support the mission” or “complete the objective.” Coming home safe was the ideal outcome, but entirely secondary to “supporting” or “completing.” Nor, once that started, did I get a choice to quit. Once in, all in.

When that 80 year old lady smells smoke or hears a noise outside her first floor bedroom in the ghetto, she doesn’t care if you go home safe, either. She’s afraid she or the kids next door won’t wake up in the morning.

If I call, I expect your ass to show up, sober, trained, professional. I expect you to wade in with me or in place of me, and drag a child out of a hole, or out from a burning room, or actually stand up and block bullets from hitting said child, because by the time you get there, I’ll have already done all that. And there will be field dressings, chainsawed trees, buckets and empty brass scattered about.

I don’t want to hear some drunk and confused guy squirming on the ground playing “Simon Says” terrified you so much you had to blow him away. I don’t want to hear that some random guy 35 yards away who you had no actual information on , may have reached toward his waist band. Or that “the tree might fall any moment” or that “the smoke makes it hard to see.”

Near as I can tell, I don’t hear the smokejumpers, or the firefighters, or the disaster rescue people say such things.

But it’s all I ever hear from the cops. If you and your five girlfriends in body armor, with rifles, are that terrified of actually risking your life for the theoretically dangerous job you volunteered for and can quit any time, then please do quit.

You can get a job doing pest control and go home safe every night.

Until a bunch of fucking pussies with big tattoos, small dicks, body armor and guns blow you away for minding your own business.

Because what you’re telling me with that statement is, your only concern is cashing a check. That’s fine. But if that’s your concern, don’t pretend you’re serving the public. If you wanted to help people at risk of life, you would be a firefighter, running into buildings, dragging people out, getting scorched regularly.

If you’re cool with writing tickets, then there’s jobs where you can do just that.

If you want to tangle with bad guys and blow them away, fair enough. But understand: That means they get to shoot first to prove their intent, just as happens with the military these days. Our ROE these days are usually “only if fired upon and no civilians are at risk.”

If your plan is “shoot first, shoot later, shoot some more, then if anyone is still alive try to ask questions,” and bleat, “But I was afeard fer mah lahf!” you’re absolutely no better than the thugs you claim to oppose. All you are is another combatant in a turf war I don’t care about.

Since I know your primary concern is “being safe,” then I’ll do you the favor of not calling. Cash your welfare check, and try not to shoot me at a “courtesy” sobriety checkpoint for “twitching my eye “in a way that suggested range estimation.

If you’re one of the vanishingly few cops who isn’t like that, then what the hell are you doing about it? If there’s going to be a lawsuit costing the city millions, isn’t it better that it be a labor suit from the union over the clown you fired, than a wrongful death suit over the poor bastard the clown shot? Both are expensive, but one has a dead victim you enabled. So how much do you actually care about that life?

How is the training so bad that it’s not clear who is the scene commander who gives the orders?

How is it that trigger happy bozos who, out of costume, look no different from the gangbangers you claim to oppose, get sent up front to fulfill their wish of hosing someone down because “I was afraid for my life!”?

Why does the rot exist in your department?

If you can’t do anything about it, why are you still in that department?

At some point, collective guilt is a thing.

You’ve probably not been a good cop for a long time.

And I still don’t care if you go home safe. I care that everyone you purport to “serve and protect” goes home safe.

Unions aren’t required to even exist.

Nothing is required to exist. That you don`t agree with something`s existence does not release it from its legal obligations.
As for testifying, something I was required to do many times in my working life, it is reciting your version of events, nothing more. Just because you don`t agree with it, does not make it a lie. Where police are required to testify, it is the politician-prosecutor that decides what will be prosecuted and who will be called as a witness for the prosecution. In case you missed it, witnesses are “prepared” for testimony. That is, the lawyer rehearses the answers he or she wants. I was part of several cases where people told their story that was just not credible. There is an old say
I am not going to suggest that all cops are perfect, they aren`t. Most are there because they think they can help people. The biggest problem in the past 30+ years is the politicization of police forces. The “Justice” system has turned into a conviction system driven by prosecutors. I witnessed that with my brother who was charged with attempted murder, because the family of the victim insisted something be done, because my brother had talked to her at the bus stop on several occasions. It took less than half an hour for a jury to declare him not guilty. The two cops testifying were not in the least bit convincing, and quite frankly, didn`t try to be. It was all driven by the prosecutor`s office.
I agree there has been a large ramping up since 9-11, but the militarization of the police was done by Clinton, long before. The reason, whether you like it or not, was given as increased violence.
We all view life through the lens of personal experience. Obviously our experiences are different.

Yes, ‘legal obligations’ into which someone should never have placed himself. This is cop psychosis 101. “My hands are tied, ma’am. I don’t write the laws; I only enforce them.”

Three things the psycho criminal won’t tell you with that piece of fallacious rot:

    – He’s the one who volunteered to do what he’s doing. He’s 100% responsible.

    – His bromide is a ridiculous disguised restatement of the Nuremberg defense, but worse because he wasn’t coerced.

    – Cops don’t enforce ‘laws’; they selectively enforce ‘laws’. And selectively enforcing is the same as writing, so his bromide itself is internally contradictory.

Cop Bromide Disease is the real world equivalent of Dr. Strangelove’s Roman-saluting hand running the show. Hey, what could he do? His hand had to Sieg Heil. Whaddya want from me?

Just because you don`t agree with it, does not make it a lie.

Classic. You’ve nimbly, if brazenly, executed the fallacy of irrelevant conclusion. It’s an obvious truth—an irrefutable truth!

And it has nothing to do with testilying, except to link to your vague premise, which is that cops aren’t criminals.

I know that cops testilie, because I’ve cross-examined them prior to placing into evidence proof that they were lying. I’ve had a judge explicitly excuse the cop’s lies, still ruling for defense, because it must be understood how difficult it is for them to keep shit straight, having so many encounters. Translation: no penalty sua sponte

And there is the crux. Cops make up details to fit the elements required for conviction, and they knowingly spout this BS under oath. It’s criminal, normal, subsidized.

They’ve been busted writing DUI reports before there’s even a defendant! What does cop do when he and a defendant-shortage collide? He creates defendants.

Can’t keep details straight and get a conviction without making shit up (perjury)? Get a real job.

I was part of several cases where people told their story that was just not credible.

Good news; I have the answer: Just because you don’t agree with it, does not make it incredible.

On the surface this makes sense. You can’t make a primitive tribe conform to rules of a modern society. So basically what you are suggesting is entirely letting go of our inner cities and let them be crime infested no go zones. The problem is businesses will move out because of crime and extortion, so people in the zone will have to go outside the zone to buy groceries, clothes etc., taking their shoplifting/violent ways with them. Also, what happens when crooks run out of businesses to rob and extort? They’ll start targeting businesses near the edge of their neighborhood, and then those businesses will move away, and the zone just keeps expanding.

Nevertheless, this dystopian prospect need not be all that unwelcome, even for fans of strict law and order”…try it sometime, see how you like it. If the “issue” really is that, ” inner city residents reject the ‘white’ version of law and order”…then maybe they should tell us that, rather than another middle-class White pundit. More than a few inner city residents are probably trapped there by economic & personal circumstances, not because they enjoy life “poor, nasty, brutish, and short”. Hobbes any way, in this famously over-worked phrase from over three centuries ago was not offering it as a justification for abolishing policing, in order to make it even more so. So if the “upshot” of such a ring-around-the -ghetto- approach “in light of recent mayhem—Baltimore, Ferguson etc.” is that “abandoning policing here altogether would not entirely be unwelcome by the cops themselves save in extreme emergencies” then there is a ready model at hand. Just go to Brazil where massive slums surrounding major cities like Rio & San Paulo are cordoned off and drug gangs rule the roost & mete out street justice. “This community-based non-police approach” then, may not be as novel as it may initially appear – but it certainly is as absurd. Perhaps it really is time to abolish “strangers with guns”? Abolish “strangers with guns” & you’re not likely to get new peace-loving Amish communities in their place.

    .

  39. I think this proposal shows a failure to understand the aims and motives of militant black activist movements. They seem more intent on exacting revenge for perceived oppression rather than seeking an arrangement whereby people of different cultures and ethnicities may live side by side in a reasonable degree of harmony. Hence, in order to end oppression it is necessary to subjugate the oppressor not reform him.

Supposed ethical justification for this is derived from the idea that ‘whiteness’ is a moral evil. All forms of adversity suffered by black people are attributed to a single cause, racism; only white people can be racist; white legal, educational, political and economic systems are inherrently racist; white people who strive to avoid racist attitudes and behaviours are nevertheless tainted by unconscious racism. And so it goes.

If unopposed, the outcome of such beliefs should be obvious, given the many previous examples available to us from history. So, for white culture to survive in some form that would be recognisable to our forebears, active opposition to these ideas is necessary rather than attempts at accomodation. Unfortunately, a quiet life is not an option.

Hopefully, intellectual and political opposition will eventually prove effective. However, the forces ranged against white culture are many and powerful. There may come a time when, like Augustine of Hippo, one has to choose action over intellectualising. It is salutory to remember that Augustine himself died while fighting the barbarian forces.

LOL. Interesting comment on your part. The fact is after a while there will be nothing left to steal in police free ghetto areas. There probably is not much to steal there now. So where will the criminals go to “earn” some money ? Well, as you say to areas outside their slum.

The author makes a good point in that in some places criminal gangs “police” the area. I know in Brazil the favelas (the slum areas) of Rio are under the control of the hood lords and it is effective. People stepping out of line no matter the age are cleaned up. Everyone understands this in that there is no trial with lawyers, plea bargains and all that. You are just shot and that is it. Consequently the paradox is that it is safer to live in the slum areas up behind Rio than in trendy Copacabana.

I know this approach also worked in the US. When I hung around the Bronx in the early 80’s there was no fucking around. It was rare to see a police man. Then again it was rare to see a black man and the few who tested the system found themselves in difficult situations so they stayed away or behaved.

You know, sometimes it is best to let people have what they want. So I am all for eliminating the Police all together in black areas. You can bet the politicians pushing for this wont be living there but like Maxine and good old Al, they will be tooling in white areas with a heavy police and personal security presence.

/”Why does the author of this article refer to “pussies with big tattoos and small dicks”?/

It’s a “figure of speech”, nothing more. Most (if not all) police officers goal is to make it to retirement without getting into dangerous situations-the opposite of what their mandate is supposed to be. Most police officers are lazy.

You see, police officers very rarely go into dangerous situations, as it is easier to roust honest people than it is to DO THEIR JOB as honest citizens don’t fight back..

Police KNOW where the true criminal activity is , but find it easier to hide behind (unnecessary military equipment) and use SWAT teams unnecessarily “just because they can”.

All one has to do is look at how many times SWAT teams are used to serve warrants on people they could easily pick up off the street. Instead, they use their “dynamic entry” techniques, smashing everything in sight, terrorizing the occupant (as they quite often hit the “wrong house”) and in general wreak unnecessary havoc “just because they can”.

You see, to SWAT teams they are a hammer and everything else (us) is a nail.

Most police officers ARE “pussies with big tattoos and small dicks”…

  70. Gee, as a Southerner I am gratified to see some common sense emerging regarding race. Maybe, just maybe, we understood a thing or two about black culture when we imposed segregation. Contrary to what most Americans think, Jim Crow police forces did not go around lynching blacks, beating them up, and putting them in jail for spitting on the sidewalk. The only time blacks were treated with harshness is when they made the mistake of crossing the line and attacking, robbing, or raping white people. As long as they stayed on their side of the tracks they were pretty much left alone, except for really serious crimes (like murder) that could not be ignored. Southerners knew blacks in general were just different in significant ways. Of course, there was always a black middle class and they pretty much conformed to the rules of white society and were viewed differently than the rest.

IF we are going to bring America back, we have to start with the truth. Truth is that Blacks faced discrimination in all places of America LONG AGO, from the Redneck Riviera to Greenwich Village. My parents grew up in the Deep South and I have heard that Blacks were indeed second class citizens. But I also heard a story or two of Black on White rape during my “talk” with my parents. My ancestors even had Black friends BACK THEN, poor Whites like my ancestors weren’t treated much better than Blacks and were looked down upon. And to this day, it is the poor Whites who suffer the brunt of Black racism, not the rich White or Jewish former slave owners. These self hating white traitor trash bags marching with Antifa could very well be the ancestors of slave owners. haha. Most poor working class Whites are not going to be marching in those “protests” because we have experienced THE TRUTH. Back to ANCIENT HISTORY, the most ridiculous thing to me was hearing of a Black maid having to enter through the back door, now how silly is that one. You have someone who is going to be working inside your entire house and she can’t enter through the front door?? “Yankees” seem to skate off and blame that period of time on just White Southerners, but I can remember as recently as 1975 when Whites in BOSTON showed out when busing came to their town.

The ONLY BLACKS who TRULY suffered discrimination are long dead, that era was ANCIENT HISTORY and now Blacks are truly granted privilege over Whites in America. White and Black folk NEED to accept the fact that WE ARE DIFFERENT, as Abe Lincoln put it, MORE DIFFERENT THAN ANY OTHER RACES, and it is unfair to ask the Black man to live in our society and it is unfair to ask us to try and live in a society with the Black man. Both races, matter of fact, all races would be much better off living among their own kind.

IF Blacks and Whites REALLY WANTED to help each other out, WE would work to SEPARATE and REPATRIATE Blacks back to their homeland. How many years does it take to admit you were wrong and that God never intended for the races to mix. Who benefits the most by having everyone at each other’s throats and racial division?

Fully agree. It should also be possible to sue prosecutors. Sadly, the Supreme Court has completely lost the plot.

There is civil unrest rising within the major media institutions in Europe and the United States including the New York Times, Philadelphia Inquirer, Washington Post just for example. The younger generation journalists are starting to rebel against management for the fake news. What is repeatedly coming out is demands for news organizations’ core value needs to be the truth. They are objecting to what has been the perception of objectivity. Some journalists have simply not written a word for a week. The civil unrest we see in the streets is not really racist as much as it is against the establishment. This was not helped by the Supreme Court’s decision to deny cert to a case on qualified immunity. This decision may go down with Dread Scot which said blacks had no constitutional rights in an effort to prevent a civil war. This decision trying to support the status quo is equally wrong. There is NOTHING in the Constitution that says a government employee is an exception. The Bill of Rights is by no means a list of POSITIVE rights – it is a NEGATIVE restraint upon government. There is no foundation whatsoever to create any immunity for any government office when the sovereign of the nation is “We the People” not the government.

At the corner of 12th St. and Clairmount, William Scott operated a “blind pig” (an illegal after-hours club) on weekends out of the office of the United Community League for Civic Action, a civil rights group. The police vice squad often raided establishments like this on 12th St., and at 3:35 a.m. on Sunday morning, July 23, they moved against Scott’s club”

For many urban blacks, what most whites view as “law and order” resembles colonial rule imposed by an occupying foreign power.

No. That’s a Marxist idea and most blacks don’t give a damn about Marx.

Blacks reject law and order because they’re constitutionally incapable of internalizing rules, norms and moral codes.

In fact, this inability to internalize rules, norms and moral codes is what unites the fringes.

    That and anti-White hatred.

The two go together, of course.

And it’s exacty this that the hostile elite has exploited.

Because exploitation is something the hostile elite has most definitely internalized.

Just as they’ve deeply internalized their incredible inability to admit when they’re wrong and corresponding need to scapegoat others.

Which is what they’re doing to Whites, past and present (so as to ensure a future without them).

That other Whites are eagerly participating in this is a case of bonding with their abusers, hopeing against hope that it’ll buy them a place in PC heaven. It won’t.

The hostile elite has convinced the fringes to make Whites the world’s designated scapegoat.

What the author suggests was tried in Boston in the 60s. It was dubbed “The Combat Zone”, and it was an area where the police simply stayed out of the way. Unfortunately, the activities in the zone soon crossed the border into the policed zones, and ultimately the whole notion of no policing was abandoned.

That said, if a cordon sanitaire were placed around the Black Ghettos, with no Blacks being allowed to leave except under the most stringent supervision, the remaining parts of the city would in fact revert to being pleasant and crime free.

This is amply demonstrated by the successful South African experience with their creation of Bantustans and enforced apartheid. Residents in those squalid areas could only blame themselves for the rampant criminality inasmuch as they were pretty much left to their own devices. Despite the worldwide cries of “Racism”, the apartheid system merely recognized that there was an insurmountable cultural gap between mainstream White and tribal Black cultures, and that the groups ought to be kept apart.

Imagine therefore a Baltimore or Chicago where Blacks have their own exclusive areas and Whitey is not allowed entrance. They would not be allowed to claim racism – really cultural bias – as they would be self governing, as much as that might be possible. They could therefore and in that place be as “Black” as they desired, and consequently would have to look only to themselves for any social collapse in as much as the area would be White free, and thus free of racism.

(Additionally, inasmuch as they would be solely responsible for their well being, all transfer payments in form of Section 8, EBT, Medicaid and so forth would cease, greatly easing the burden of the Mainstream Taxpayers who bear the financial burdens of these programs.)

In turn, if such a scheme were instituted, the costs of policing the remaining parts of the cities would be greatly reduced. Other than maintaining (very stringently) the above mentioned cordon sanitaire, there would be a significant reduction in crime inasmuch as your mainstream cultural populations tend to be peaceful and law abiding overall. Lower crime=Need for fewer Police=Reduced Police Budget.

    Hope this helps!

    Just a thought.

P.S. As long as Blacks cling to their completely dysfunctional Ghetto subculture, their problems will continue. That’s not something that either they or their White enablers want to hear, but really it’s a truth that’s apparent to any dispassionate observer. Unless they mainstream, American inner cit Bantustans will increasingly present as the only viable solution.

All and sundry, Blacks and Whites, are fond of citing the I Have A Dream speech, but I don’t think they got the real message, and I’m not referring to the “Content of their Character” part. Rather it’s the message that you no longer have to act like a bunch of Mississippi sharecroppers transplanted to the cities, and that you can now assimilate to the middle, to the mainstream. Unfortunately for both them and society as a whole, that’s a message that, either from stupidity or fear or both, Blacks have mostly ignored. And we all are paying for it

  107. Good recipe, but it requires one addition: those de-policed hoods should be surrounded by barbed wire and exit from them to the policed areas should be strictly controlled (naturally, by the police). With that addition, it would work fine. Anyone setting up a business in a de-policed area would do it at his/her own risk. Naturally, no insurance would be provided. If the residents of de-policed hoods shoot and knife each other, it’s their problem. Police should not interfere.

Years ago there used to be a great discount shoe store in downtown Norwalk, Connecticut. I went in there to find it was closing, and the manager told me that blacks would walk in, put on new shoes, and walk out without the slightest concern cops would arrest them. Every other store in the area eventually suffered the same fate. This is going everywhere, but the point is that it was coordinated way above the level of the savages in the street.

Creeping blackness decades ago along Federal Highway from Riviera Beach in Palm Beach County, Florida meant what it always means, even in the best of times, which is stores looted out of business one after the other. An old white widow in the area being robbed of her wedding ring couldn’t get it off her finger fast enough, so they cut her finger off in the elevator of her building.

The problem will be containment. Right now the MSM, including or maybe especially the deep state’s Fox News, is insinuating that appeasement and relying on the outcome of the coming totally rigged elections are the solution. If truckers finally succeed in boycotting these communist cities now in unopposed open insurrection, the blacks will be bussed into the suburbs to loot, burn, rape, and kill whites as happened in Africa in the middle of the last century.

Incidentally, what truckers face being stopped by mobs of black savages in America today is what it’s like in Nigeria, the most populous country in Africa. If a white gets into an accident with a Nigerian and is foolish enough to be driving without a black chauffeur, he will be hacked to pieces in the street. This animal hatred of whites knows no time or place, and in 1863 in his classic Wanderings in West Africa the world polymath and traveler, Sir Richard Francis Burton, described the uncanny ability of black West Africans to bait whites into fights, which the English authorities punished by excoriating the whites and letting the blacks go free.

In any case, the Republicans have abdicated and are taking a knee as they run for cover behind the very cops and citizens they betrayed into this anti-white mau-mau’ing paid for by Soros and probably being run by the FBI itself, as with the “bomber” false flags before. Just what are white people going to do when guns are confiscated and that national “security force” Obama promised that’s as big and as well equipped as the US Army and raised from among BLM and the Black Panthers goes door to door on a rampage through the suburbs and farmland of America? The absence of planning and preparations for likely events after the election is stolen is evidence we’re being set up for precisely this scenario.

A quick jump out of the hood for a robbery or rape and then back to the safehaven would become the modus operandi for the criminals. Begin by recognizing that policing is inherently selective, and selectivity ultimately rests on culture and it is hardly controversial to say that African Americans and whites typically embrace unlike cultures. It then follows that de-policing might create separate culture-based enclaves.

Basically, the thesis is that de-policing is a stealth segregation program, and that’s a good thing. I like this take. The question of course, is how the policing jurisdictions are distributed, and which ones get the de-policed model.

I actually don’t think any small community would vote to de-police itself. The respectable business people and property owners and residents wouldn’t go for it. And the actual thugs and low-life’s don’t end up voting so much. A lot of lily white neighborhoods could de-police and no one would know the difference.

My guess, is that the no-police experiment is most likely to be imposed by some liberal white City Council as a social experiment on its “Black and Brown” neighborhoods. Crime will shoot up, property values will go down, and the residents will complaint it was “racist” to deny them the same police services as white neighborhoods. It’s 100% predictable.

It depends on what you consider violence. Isn’t increasing poverty violence? The statistics for health outcomes of the poor, whether disease or life expectancy is markedly different that the wealthy, or even middle class. The wealth gap is spreading and the middle class is disappearing. For the first time in decades, American life expectancy is decreasing. I consider that violence.

Anybody saying this about a peacetime army is full of shit. The vast majority join to get training or because they basically can’t do anything else. The last thing most want to do is go into a shooting war.

How’s what they want relevant in any way or wise? Anyone recycling the Nuremberg defense is full of shit — especially in such grossly inept fashion.

Also, you have a very strange concept of “peacetime”.

  123. Abolish the police? It’s not really possible in a technological society, unfortunately. In such a society everything is interconnected; and consequently the more it becomes “advanced” technologically, the more it needs to restrict freedom. Police are needed not only to enforce criminal law, but also to enforce hundreds of thousands of other regulations required by high technology. Traffic rules, building codes, fire codes, health and safety codes, tax codes and collection, are just a few examples. Also, the urban areas filled with jogger-Americans couldn’t simply be cut loose to fend for themselves, for who would supply them with food, water, and the other necessities of life? If supply wasn’t provided voluntarily from outside, then the joggers would, of necessity, have to form raiding parties that would launch forays into non-jogger areas to take such things (and other things too) by force. Such disruptions would unfavorably impact the quality of life for everyone, resulting in a loss of efficiency for the system as a whole.

Only if the technological system were to collapse, or be made to collapse, permanently and on a world-wide basis, could the beneficial effects of racial separation be realized. But in that case, billions of people would certainly die of famine, disease, and in war. It could be made to happen, and it very likely will happen by accident someday if it’s not done deliberately. But the world will never do it voluntarily.

I worked in Personnel/Human Resources for almost 35 years. I heard every dog ate my homework excuse employees had. I had managers telling me that over the weekend, a long term employee with an excellent work record became incompetent. I had people witnessing events tell me completely different stories than the people involved. That is reality. There is an old saying: there are three sides to every story – yours, mine, and the truth. People will always tell the tale that is most advantageous to themselves. That is human nature. Their version is their truth.

It was proven years ago that eye witnesses are the not reliable. Their descriptions of people committing crimes was often nothing like the criminal when caught. These people aren’t lying, they are telling their version of events. That is what testimony is. Testimony is not real evidence.
    https://thelawdictionary.org/testimony/

Your simplistic approach to the law is troubling. Legal requirements are everywhere. Physicians have legal requirements in carrying out their duty. People sitting on Boards, even if they are non/not for profit have fiduciary responsibilities from legal statutes. Electricians and plumbers have to follow building codes. The list is virtually endless. None of these people may agree with what is required, but they are required to fulfill their obligations or face legal consequences if they are found to be deficient in their duty.
The “I’m just carrying out my duty” response is entirely valid. Either something is, or it isn’t. Depending on how people process information sometimes leads to selectivity. If the selectivity is a conscious decision despite the evidence, it is the selectivity that is invalid not the law. If you don’t like a law or policy, get off your arse and get involved. Lobby your representative. Show up at meetings to protest, and encourage like minded people to do the same.
Separate the police officer from the police department. Yes, there are some bad police officers – a small minority. They are the ones that bend or break the law. At the same time, there are bad citizens – a small minority. They are the hard violent criminals. There is a sizeable chunk of the population that is in the grey zone, including me. I speed, roll through stop signs, litter sometimes, etc. Sometimes I’ve been caught. Technically, that makes me a “criminal”. If I think the cop was wrong, I don’t start screaming sat him, and refusing to follow direction. I follow the direction, collect whatever information I think I need and challenge. Sometimes I’ve won, sometimes not.
The person you see, in any situation involving a hierarchical structure, is seldom, if ever, responsible for the policies and procedures they are required to follow in the workplace, and unless you are the owner of a company, that includes you.

This article Completely misses the point. Its not about DEfunding the police its more a bout REdefining policing-ghettos?-. A few anecdotes…I was at a Public Library in Los Angeles, I sat quietly doing my daily dose of reading the news. I began to notice that the homeless in the nearby park were using the library to clean up, use the toilet, charge their devices, sleep etc. Many of them were obviously mentally ill and annoy the rest of the patrons to the point of violence, theft, etc. The head librarian had no choice but to call the police. I wonder why the police would spend so much time and -human-officers hours- policig the homeless, and not just once but a lot of times daily. I thought that It would be more cost efficient to have a Homeless Task force, through the City LAHSA agency. Just as Parking is whole different bureau, the Homeless and mentally ill should be handled by a particular type of bureau. In FACT the future of policing must start by Statistical Analysis CLASSIFICATION of CRimes…is Homelessness a crime? mental illness? private recreational use of drugs? Home domestic conflicts regarding parents, children, etc. What crimes do require SEVERE dissuasion repression punishment…burglaries, assaults, rape, vandalism, gangs, terrosim. I visited a relative in Seattle Washington…my realtve receive a notice in the mail regarding a gang member recently released from jail along with a phone number to call in case of suspicious activities…IF a neighbor call the number a probatin officer would show up at the home of the gang member and search his home, assign him group meetings, or even place a 48hrs hold on him…all this without any officers hours spend unnecessarily. In Los Angeles is exactly the opposite my city block was peaceful until an UNsupervise gang member was release into the neighbrhood..needless to say that crimes multiply quickly, the Landlord refuse to run background checks, and of course the gang members are not listed on the original rental application…in my case the Landlord was COLLECTING a % of the Drug sales…BUT the police came and go many times without any positive results. They should try the Seattle approach…The other side of Police reform is changing the view that PENAL facilities are just cages…they should be Therapeutical Behavior psychological units according to the offenders Psychological-crime profile…whats the use of having thousands of people in jails in cages 23hr daily…many even for life…

The cop was just a dumb bastard. The drunk guy was no threat. They had options. Call for back up and surround the guy. You and your partner stalk and tackle him. Or let him go. You have his license and automobile. You know where he lives. Find him the following day.

Instead the pathetic cop shot the guy because he was afraid a stumbling drunk would shoot him with a taser. Like he couldn’t stay far enough away or run around to avoid it. It was a taser idiot. And the guy couldn’t hit the side of a barn. He should have just let the guy go. He might have turned himself in.

In it he describes Blacks getting drunk and killing each other on Friday and Saturday nights, only to be bailed out of jail on Sunday by the Massa’ so that they could return to the fields on Monday. He then goes on to point out that this precise subculture, violent and overly emotional without lack of foresight, was transplanted to the Northern Cities where it metastasized, lacking the strict social controls of the Delta, into what we experience today.

The ordeal that us white students had to go through was harrowing, to say the least.

Us white students did not use the restrooms, as a “beatdown” by multiple blacks was usually the result.

Blacks never fought one-on-one, the “pack mentality” was evident then as is today.

School officials were no help, always looking the other way. You see, blacks were oppressed and could do not wrong.

Blacks did not want to learn, the same situation that still exists today. Teachers were deferential to blacks, although there were a few teachers who tried to carefully shield their white and asian students from predatory blacks, giving them additional attention and coursework, knowing that they could excel in spite of the, violent, raucous atmosphere.

Does anyone really think they will distinguish between black American and white American?

Think they will be looking for some payback for depleted uranium and drone bombed weddings?

    Think global, act local

  162. @Ryan2

Electing a new sheriff every few years does nothing to change police culture. A new sheriff can dabble around the edges but the
mindset and attitudes of patrolmen will remain the same. Solves nothing.

  163. @Anonymous

If the black perp hits the cop with the Taser and immobilizes him he can “go for the gun”. You’re a moron and a troll.

  164. Trinity says:

So now we find out a taser is indeed classified as a lethal weapon in Georgia and not only that, there have been other cases in other states where police officers shot and killed someone who took their taser. There was even another case in Georgia where a Hispanic cop who shot and killed a white guy. Funny, I live in Georgia and I didn’t even hear about that one and it sure wasn’t covered nonstop on every channel for days and days. Can the (((media))) be charged with a HATE CRIME and/or HATE SPEECH because (((they))) have incited violent riots that have resulted in the deaths of multiple victims ( civilian and police officer) many injured and millions of dollars worth of damage to our cities. IF George Schwartz or someone like him are behind these riots or promoting them, can they be sued or brought to trial for their role in these violent riots?

  165. Adûnâi: “1. In pre-industrial times, races were mixed, too, and the Aryan race could have been conquered, too. See Egypt, Alexander, Rome, Attila and the Mongols.”

Many things could have happened, or might happen, that’s certainly true. In nature, separate races often form bybrids around the edges of their ranges. I’d expect that to continue. But a collapse would re-establish the geographic barriers that allowed separate races to arise in the first place, and kept them apart.

Adûnâi: “2. Without technology, the Aryans won’t be able to exterminate all non-Whites, conquer Africa and Latin America, expand into space in O’Neill cylinders, and thus will be bound to feudal existence until the Sun heats by 10% 100 million years from now.”

During the reign of Emperor Claudius, when Rome put down the rebellion in Britain, 40-50K of the natives were killed the old-fashioned way, one at a time. That is a Hiroshima scale of death. Whites will be able to conquer or even exterminate other people if they have the will and the desire, same as always.

As for the sun heating up, all things come to an end someday. Even the universe itself is forecast to die a heat death billions of years from now. Nothing lasts forever.

Adûnâi: “3. Is a planet-wide simultaneous technological collapse possible? What’s about the DPR of Korea? They are hardly part of the global capitalist system.”

I think a collapse is not only possible, but it’s more or less inevitable. As technology increases in power, the unintended side-effects of “Progress” unavoidably become more catastrophic. If something happens that causes 99.9% of the world’s population to die off — let’s say a “Dr. Peters” type incident, just to keep things simple — then that would, in all probability, cause a new Dark Age and world-wide technological collapse. More, there is good reason to think it would be permanent.

I can’t really say much about Korea, except to note that all high technology depends upon a global network of resources. Once that network breaks down, maintaining high technology anywhere becomes impossible, at least in the long term.

Violent Fights. Shout. Throw chairs. Rap. Roll on the floor and pretend to be having sex. Walk around the room during the lesson. Talk on their cell phones. Eat. Pass gas. Scream with laughter if they feel like it. Threaten the teacher. Threaten other students.

You see, black culture has improved. you should have seen my school, those were the gifted classes.

Oh, I don’t know, the crime rate in this country peaked during the Carter Administration.

  168. @Biff

I have never said militarizing the police was a good idea. I said the excuse for militarizing was a rising crime rate. My recollection is that the non-specific alleged increase was always centred around the massively hyped drug trade killings. It was set up by tv productions like Miami Vice where violent drug gangs were on every street corner.

When people like Jamie Dimon tosses salads, gives head, and gets is A** F****D every day, all day, for his entire prison term, other rich people may think twice about committing million dollar financial crimes.

Too old. Apparently, prison rapists like younger, more feminine looking men.

    Robert Weissberg,

Cops used to be peace officers – those authorized to ensure peoples’ safety, and to maintain peace in the community, and they were taught to stay that way. And you know it.

And then the governments were stealthily taken over by the barbarians. The cops were turned into barbarians and terrorists, and taught to stay that way. And the SCOTUS even asserted that the police is here only to protect the safety and interity of the State, F..k the people. Isn’t that nice? The barbarians took over the SCOTUS too. And you know it.

And you, equally stealthily, want to turn this agony into a tragedy. To sic the people onto themselves, turn them into barbarians, hating and killing each other. And you know it.

    F-U M-F.

  171. Here’s another reason to defund the police, from our perspective:

The key to the Bolshevik Revolution was turning the Police against the People.

“Governments come and go, but the police remain.”
    – Leon Trotsky

If we dont want to end up in the Gulag that is clearly being prepared for us, perhaps not having police to take us there is a good idea. The price we have to pay is … we’ll have to defend our own homes and stuff.

  172. @Pat Kittle

The article ignores one key factor, the rigid segregation that was in the United States up to Around the World War 2 years. But the article describes of course still exist but in limited form.

  173. @anarchyst

While sovereign immunity must have its place, I agree that government officials should be more liable (civilly) for their errors. As recent events have shown, cops are not exempt from criminal offenses committed in the line of duty. Perhaps they should be given protection from lawsuits (civil), as they are to some degree. However, I’d love to see civil liability from, say, a parole board that releases a criminal before his sentence is completed. In the likely case, the “rehabilitated” felon commits a crime and does damages to a victim, the victim should have full recourse to sue the Parole Board, or more likely, the State.

Not always true. I can’t think of a specific, but all you need is one fugitive from one State who is welcomed in the asylum State, perhaps as simple as he is a crony of those in power and/or has paid off the right people. Applied internationally, there are plenty of countries where a citizen can’t be extradited for any reason (Israel is one, I think).

  175. Re Tazers. I’m no expert, but over the years plenty of people have died of heart irregular beats after having been Tazed. Even so, given the choice between a Tazer and a 9mm, I’ll take the barb and high voltage shot, very much thank you.

On an only slightly related note, I discovered this funny piece of a historical anomaly: An all-Negro (it was “Negro” back then) elite high school that was ruined by Brown vs. Board of Education (the 1950s) ending of segregation! It may be unique in U.S. history; DC has always been a strange legal entity.

President Trump recently defunded the FISA Court, with a threatened veto.

The US DOJ, FBI, & Federal Courts can be substantially cut down in size & influence. They have instituted a multi-tiered enforcement protocol, in place of ‘liberty & justice for all’. They can be reduced to a tiny fraction of their present employment levels, by President Trump.

I think that Trump should fire, reduce hiring, and by normal attrition SHRINK the feds.

  177. Curle says:
    @anarchyst

I’d always heard it was fire fighters spending all day pounding political yard signs and waiting for something to happen in their fire palaces.

How many truly dangerous fires does the average fire fighter encounter in one month? How does that compare with police?

    • Replies: @anarchyst
  178. They can have their no go zones when we can have ours. Otherwise, no dice, Jews.

  179. anarchyst says:
    @Curle

You make a good point. Firefighters DO have plenty of time in their “fire palaces” (I like that term) to be political activists. Firefighters tend to focus their political activism to issues regarding “millage” (property tax funding).
However, I never hear firefighters refusing to subject themselves to danger by refusing to do their jobs. I never have heard a firefighter say “I feahed fo mah life”, but that is all I ever hear from the police.
In some cases, firefighters and EMTs have been harassed by police for attempting to do their jobs…
If I had my way, police officers would be restricted to “police palaces” until a “request for services” was made.

Correct. This is the biggest flaw in the (((author’s))) plan. Blacks won’t just stay in their own neighborhoods, they will follow whites to their new neighborhoods and ghettoize those.

  181. @Ben the Layabout

While sovereign immunity must have its place,

Agreed, and its place is to not exist.

Anyone materially defending or proposing “sovereign immunity” should be hogtied and dumped in a pond. We might be doing just that soon.
