What does “Kennedy” stand for?[1]The top photo is taken for Dick Russel’s biography, The Real RFK Jr.: Trials of a Truth Warrior, Skyhorse, 2023. Kennedy is the name of a crypt in the subconscious of each true American, or a ghost nagging the American conscience.[2]“Crypt” and “ghost” are psychoanalytical concepts introduced by Nicolas Abraham and Maria Torok in The Shell and the Kernel, University of Chicago Press, 1994. It was not just LSD that drove America’s youth mad after 1963. It was a sense of guilt, shame and disgust. “How can we let them get away with executing our President in broad daylight, and then lying to our face everyday as they rule over us?” Kennedy was truly “America’s Last President,” as Monika Wiesak argued in her wonderful book. What has been called America ever since is something else; it is a country built on murder and lie.
Truth can set America free. But love, also. We live in an age when the honor of great men is trampled every day. But great men are the light-fountains of the peoples who love them, wrote Thomas Carlyle in On Heroes. John Kennedy was a hero and a martyr, but there is not even a national Kennedy Day. Shame on America! And shame on the Catholic Church too! Hugh Turley and Dave Martin made the following observation in their book The Martyrdom of Thomas Merton, in reference to Pope Francis’s visit to Washington on in 2015:
Before Pope Francis spoke to the Congress, he visited St. Matthew’s Cathedral in Washington, D.C. and spoke to a gathering of bishops. The pontiff was standing on the very spot in the cathedral where these words are inscribed in the floor, “Here rested the remains of President Kennedy at the Requiem Mass, Nov. 25, 1963, before their removal to Arlington where they lie in expectation of a heavenly resurrection.” Incredibly, the pope stood on that spot and never mentioned John F. Kennedy, America’s only Catholic president [written in 2019, before Biden became president].[3]Hugh Turley and Dave Martin, The Martyrdom of Thomas Merton, McCabe Publishing, 2019 , p. 245.
Kennedy was a blessing for America, and if we can’t love him more than they hated him, then their hatred has conquered us, and their curse is upon us.
Oh, how they hate the Kennedys! Sometimes they can’t help telling us. We should thank John Podhoretz for that, actually. He is the son of Norman Podhoretz, the man who wanted the U.S.A. to bomb Iran and start World War IV. There is a joke that, when he worked at the Washington Times, people called him “John P. Normanson,” because the paper’s editor, Arnaud de Borchgrave, introduced him around as “John Podhoretz, Norman’s son.” The Podhoretz are people of the lie (the title of Norman’s autobiography, My Love Affair With America, reminds me of Arlen Specter’s Passion for Truth). But sometimes, the truth of their hatred drips through their foaming mouth. Five days after JFK Jr.’s plane plunged into the sea on July 16, 1999, John Podhoretz wrote a piece for the New York Post titled “A conversation in hell.” He was fancying Satan telling JFK Jr.’s grandfather Joe: “Every time you think your family is on its way back to glory, I just have to do something. Like I did this weekend with your grandson John.”
One interesting thing about this piece (which is still on the net, by the way) is that, while saying that the death of JFK’s son was a price for the anti-Semitism of JFK’s father, Podhoretz omits JFK himself from the equation. It is as if he was dying to say that JFK was killed in retaliation for what his father did to the Jews, but could not say so explicitly, and seized with delight the occasion of John Jr.’s death to say it implicitly. It is one thing to write that John Jr. paid for his grandfather’s enmity to the Jews, when people believe John Jr. died in an accident; it is an entirely different matter to say so about JFK, who was murdered by yet unidentified forces.
People like Podhoretz know that the Goy is too thickheaded to react to the implicit: as long as they don’t write in plain letters, “We killed your little Kennedy,” he will continue to ignore their heavy insinuations. It is a fun little game. Edward Klein, author of The Kennedy Curse, introduced his book with the story of how a holy rabbi named Israel Jacobson, while fleeing the Nazis, “put a curse on Kennedy, damning him and all his male offspring to tragic fates.” In the same playful spirit, Ronald Kessler took the title of his book The Sins of the Father from Exodus 20:5: “I, Yahweh, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sins of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me.” Joe Kennedy’s worst sin, needless to say, was that “he was a documented anti-Semite and an appeaser of Adolf Hitler” who “admired the Nazis.” That is the meaning of “Kennedy” for these people.
After now ten years reading and thinking about the Kennedys, I came to the conviction that the signature of the JFK assassination is the “Umbrella Man,” who, according to his own testimony before the House Select Committee on Assassinations in 1978, wanted to “heckle” JFK about his father’s appeasement of Hitler — impersonating Neville Chamberlain’s ghost, so to speak — and, by pure coincidence, happened to do it seconds before JFK received his sentence. The average Goy, if he ever hears about the Umbrella Man, will be too happy to pretend to himself that he can make no sense of it, and agree with Josiah Thompson’s ridiculous quantum physics explanation. But such meaningful synchronicity can only be intentional. It is designed by people who are experts at using symbols to make implicit statements that any Goy will be punished to make explicit. The Goyim are so well trained in the resulting cognitive inhibition that Jewish authors can enjoy telling them that JFK died because of his father’s Nazi sympathies, and then watch them struggling not to understand.
With the same technique Israelis can pretend to honor Kennedy with a memorial in the form of “the stump of a felled tree,” which really symbolizes unequivocally their plan for Kennedy’s posterity and legacy.
I am not saying that JFK’s assassination was only a vengeance against his father. That was just the metaphysical or biblical dimension to it — and they care deeply about it. Kennedy was killed because he categorically refused to let Israel become a nuclear State. It has been now more than 30 years since the deadlock between Kennedy and Ben-Gurion over Dimona was first documented. Kennedy’s death unlocked the situation, because Johnson “saw no Dimona, heard no Dimona, and spoke no Dimona,” as Stephen Green once wrote as early as 1984.[4]Stephen Green, Taking Sides: America’s Secret Relations With a Militant Israel, William Morrow & Co., 1984, p. 166. Even the Israeli press now brags about it:
All Jews who care deeply about Israel know the story. They wink to each other as one of them suggests that an Israeli Prime Minister should “give the go-ahead for U.S.-based Mossad agents to take out a [U.S.] president deemed unfriendly to Israel in order for the current vice-president to take his place and forcefully dictate that the United States’ policy includes its helping the Jewish State obliterate its enemies.” This is what Andrew Adler wrote on January 13, 2012 in The Atlanta Jewish Times, which he owned. He was suggesting to Netanyahu to get Obama killed because he failed to do what it took to stop Iran from getting nukes. “Yes, you read… correctly. Order a hit on a president in order to preserve Israel’s existence.”
Adler’s op-ed raised a wave of mild protests, including by the ADL. But it is interesting to note that in none of them, Adler was blamed for lending implicit support to the theory that Ben-Gurion ordered a hit on Kennedy to replace him by his vice-president. Adler is a smart, proud, educated Jew. Can we doubt that he had this precedent in mind, and that many of his Jewish readers, including his critics, got the allusion? Adler knows, as do his informed readers, that in 1963, Ben-Gurion believed that Kennedy was endangering Israel’s existence by trying to prevent her from making nukes. Seymour Hersh’s book The Samson Option came out more than twenty years before Adler wrote his editorial piece. Israel’s nuclear policy has two sides: nukes for Israel, no nukes for Iran. So what Adler advises Netanyahu to do in 2012, he surely assumes Ben-Gurion did in 1963. Adler also knows, obviously, that the significance of Kennedy’s death lies in the pro-Israel policy of the vice-president that took his place. It is common knowledge among Israelis that “Israel has had no better friend” than Lyndon Johnson.
An article in the 5 Towns Jewish Times, running under the title “Our First Jewish President Lyndon Johnson?” and taken up by Arizona Jewish Life, even suggested that, if “President Johnson firmly pointed American policy in a pro-Israel direction,” it was because he was a crypto-Jew: “both of Lyndon Johnson’s great-grandparents, on the maternal side, were Jewish. … The line of Jewish mothers can be traced back three generations in Lyndon Johnson’s family tree. Isn’t it interesting how candid the Israeli and Jewish media are about the whole matter? It is precious to see them brag how Jewish was the whole context of John Kennedy’s assassination. One of my favorites is Steve North’s piece for The Forward, informing Jews that Jack Ruby “Came From Strong Jewish Background.”
North also authored a piece for the Times of Israel, reporting that Ruby shot Oswald “to show that Jews had guts.” To make sure Israelis don’t miss the point, he wears the story to the limit:

Do you catch? Oswald was almost an Israeli, Ruby was strongly Jewish, and Johnson was Israel’s best friend. So Kennedy’s assassination is really a Jewish story — why bother otherwise? The Jewish Press doesn’t really need to tell their readers that Abraham Zapruder — the man who kept filming without a flinch when shots cracked behind him and Kennedy’s head exploded before him — is Jewish. But they do anyway:
And now comes a new Jewish piece in the puzzle. Ron Kampeas, who wrote the “Johnson no better friend” piece, recently informed readers of The Times of Israel that, “New JFK documents reveal assassin’s CIA monitor was Jewish spy Reuben Efron”:
The story was broken by Jefferson Morley in his JFK Facts blog and then taken up by the New York Times, in which we read:
According to an unredacted copy of the memo released recently by the government, the official who intercepted Oswald’s mail for the C.I.A. in the months before President John F. Kennedy was assassinated was named Reuben Efron.
… Curiously, Efron was previously listed as being in the room when the Warren Commission interviewed Marina Oswald, his Russian-born widow, in February 1964 — the only one present whose title and role were not explained. Mr. Morley suspects Efron was monitoring the commission’s investigation for James Angleton, the legendary C.I.A. official, essentially his “eyes and ears inside the room.”
Morley is the author of a groundbreaking biography of James Jesus Angleton, The Ghost (2017), which documents Angleton’s infatuation with the Mossad. The role of Israeli spy Efron adds grain to his mill.
Efron died on the very day of the 30th anniversary of Kennedy’s assassination. As Ron Kampeas reports, his obituary in the Miami Herald said that, “he commuted between Israel and the United States for many years, during which he studied Israeli law and was admitted to the Israeli bar.” While in Israel, “he contributed five articles in the 1970s to the Jewish Bible Quarterly, a World Zionist Organization-affiliated publication based in Jerusalem, that channeled his expertise in espionage.” In one of these articles, he portrayed Rahab, the prostitute who infiltrated the Hebrews into Jericho in the Book of Joshua (chapter 2), as “a prototype of a Mata Hari,” the World War I-era exotic dancer-turned-spy. (My Catholic Bible, on the other hand, tells me that Rahab symbolizes the Church introducing the Jewish God to the Gentiles.)
Efron is a small but not insignificant Jewish piece in the puzzle, to be added to the list I made in my previous Kennedy article. It is remarkable that only the Israeli press deems it worth reporting. Why do they do it? I wonder what game journalists like Ron Kampeas are playing. For example, is the irony of his Haaretz piece titled “John Kennedy: A Martyr Who Worried About the Spread of Nukes” intentional? I don’t know. But I guess that the smartest readers of Haaretz, considering how much Jewishness surrounds the Kennedy assassination, have now figured that Ben-Gurion probably ordered it, while agreeing that the subject is not appropriate for Goyim and should not be discussed openly in English.
How about in Hebrew, then? While researching for their book Dangerous Liaison: the Inside Story of the U.S.-Israeli Covert Relationship (2003), Andrew and Leslie Cockburn spent some money on translation from Hebrew, and found that some stories differ radically from what the Goyim is told in English. For example, in a book by Israel Lior, they found a first-hand account of a meeting of top brass at the prime minister’s home on June 3, 1967, waiting for Mossad head Meir Amit to return from Washington with Johnson’s green light for an attack on Egypt. Amit arrived at midnight and reported: “I am given to understand that the Americans would bless us if we were to break Nasser in pieces.”[6]Andrew and Leslie Cockburn, Dangerous Liaison: the Inside Story of the U.S.-Israeli Covert Relationship, Harper Perennial, 1991, p. 145. If Israelis can be so ingenuous when writing in Hebrew about their lies and crimes in cahoot with Johnson in 1967, then there is a good chance that an extensive project of automatic translation of Hebrew publications on contemporary history would yield some interesting results regarding 1963. As Ronan Bergman has observed during his research for Rise and Kill First: The Secret History of Israel’s Targeted Assassinations, Israelis who have participated in assassinations — especially against individuals regarded as a threat to Israel’s nuclear hegemony in the Middle East — are often proud of it and willing to talk about it to sympathetic ears in their old age.[7]Ronen Bergman, Rise and Kill First: The Secret History of Israel’s Targeted Assassinations, John Murray, 2019, p. xv.
In the meantime, we can count on the Israeli and Jewish press to keep us updated about the latest Jewish fingerprint on Dealey Plaza. And we can predict with confidence that, if the full story ever makes it into the mainstream, it will be in Israel first. I suggest something like this:

What do you think is going to happen? Nuclear holocaust? The Samson Option is in play, Israel will nuke major city centers before what you’re saying will happen is allowed to happen. Do you think that’s an inevitability?
So, the CIA agent Efron is ‘monitoring’ Oswald’s mail in the months prior to the assassination. Meanwhile, Mrs Payne, who’s sister (IIRC) was also CIA, helps arrange Oswald getting his new short lived job at the TSBD.
This makes all the more intriguing certain of the dialogue of the infamous ‘I’m Here to Kill a King’ Route 66 episode filmed in real time (Oct ’63) as Oswald was being hired on at the School Book Depository, and whose plot closely parallels the actual events of the JFK assassination.
Starting at 30:58 of the episode (see below ‘More’) a professional assassin tells the new hire fall guy to his face that unbeknownst to him, ‘It’s like somebody pulled the strings’ to get him his new job located along the motorcade route, and ‘that’s too bad’, because now he would have to die because of it.
‘It could of been any one of four other places, but it came up there. And that’s why you’re in, because you work here. It’s like somebody pulled the strings, and put you of all people in this place at that time. And that’s too bad, because when I kill you, it’s like I’m killing myself. You understand?’
One thing I’ve thought is usually overlooked is the fact that you don’t need a missile to deliver a nuclear bomb. You could smuggle one into a city inside the back of a van or truck. Since Israel is an undeclared nuclear power, and the logic of the ‘Samson Option’ is that Israel will use nuclear blackmail if ever their existence is threatened, how do we know Israel hasn’t placed nuclear bombs inside European or American cities already? They could be sitting in a building somewhere ready to be remotely activated.
If they were ruthless enough to perpetrate 9/11, using nukes against a European city would not trouble their conscience for a second.
Leo Strauss famously taught that truth is too terrible and destructive to be spoken in the public square. Instead, it should be obliquely hinted at by those in the know, the “philosophers” (neocons = Jewish elite) in such a way that the “gentlemen” (dumb goys who read casually and superficially) don’t see it.

But, Laurent, how do you square the circle? —All three Kennedy brothers worked on the 1965 Immigration Act that was the huge plan of the Jews, changing the demographics of this country? John Kennedy wrote back in the 1950s a pamphlet on the “Melting Pot” of America! –the ADL published it! John Kennedy married himself to the Jews! Ted Kennedy worked furiously and hard expanding the 1965 Immigration Act. The 1965 Immigration Act was an law of genocide and treason!

But still raised a monument to him for his work instigating and bringing about the 1965 Immigration Act? But President Johnson was NOT the first Jewish president. My analysis is that America was a Jewish construct from the beginning; it is a religious construct from the get go—Look at the Seal of the US!
General Ludendorf did us a favor when he correctly labelled the Freemasons, “pseudo-Jews” for Freemasonry is a platform for Jewish Messianism! This revisionist notion is part of the successful propaganda effort to reinvent the titanic struggle of ideologies and empires into a freakish morality play on whose stage Jews are the only important actors. As an Irish-American, Joe Senior loathed Britain and thought it proper that Germany should give her a good drubbing for starting another war for no just cause. Nuclear warheads require a complex delivery system and regular maintenance ; there is no lifetime guarantee for their operation.
I don’t think that in a country like America, the Israelis have the power to secretly hide and maintain high-yield nuclear warheads in order to exert a blackmail whenever they deem necessary.
They can do so with miniature nuclear charges perhaps, but the result would resemble the Oklahoma City bombing: it won’t take down the US institutions.
Europe is another story: there are US military bases, in particular in those countries who lost WW2, Italy and Germany, where American military command standards probably don’t apply. But what use would it be for the Israelis to blow up a major German or Italian city? Both countries are already complete Zio-poodles anyway, as demonstrated by the blatant Nord Stream false flag for the former, or the abandoning of its strategic BRI membership for the later.

The Israelis are nothing like that; they are just cowards hiding behind Perfidious Albion, then Uncle Sam and all the NATO cannon fodder. Their substance is cowardice and arrogance; the “Samson Option” is just a bluff.
I think that the “Samson Option” is just a bluff. The Israelis have proven time and again that their forte is cowardly false flags or bloody military operations by proxy, where other people die in the thousands or the millions. They are one of the people on Earth most devoid of spiritual values; they will never sacrifice themselves en masse.
But you are of course correct: the Ukraine proxy war initiated and managed by the Washington Israelis presents a very dangerous potential of nuclear escalation. The Israeli nutcases would probably already have nuked Russia, if not for control procedures that somehow still exist within the US military.
The obvious outcome of the Ukraine war is that Russia will win. Everything in Russia, her political leadership, military organisation, superior weapon systems, military production, industrial base, determination, resilience, social cohesion, patriotism, everything is superior to its Western counterpart.
It is God’s immanent justice that the very same economic and financial “engineering” policies dictated by the Global Israel, outsourcing of industries and imposition of predatory “financialisation”, have hollowed out and killed the Collective West Golem indispensable to its domination agenda.
The world is going through an upheaval which poses an existential challenge to Israel. America will survive, America will always exist, but Israel won’t.
Once America has lost her hegemonic position, an International Relations system based on rationality, real pragmatism and respect of sovereignty will come into being, imposed by a Global South consensus, driven by the powerful Chinese and Russian civilisations. Israel has nothing to offer, compared to its neighbours.
China has already promised that an international conference on the Palestine issue will take place, which results will be enforced by guaranteeing parties.
This means that, at best for Israel, it will be asked to withdraw within its 1967 borders. Without American prosperity and aide, without the impunity to steal Iraq and Syria’s oil, Lebanon’s offshore natural gas, Israel will collapse like the hot air balloon it really is. There will be no massacres, no pogroms, no spilled Jewish blood: the Palestinians are too civilised to lower themselves to the level of their enemy. Israel’s economy will collapse, its government lose any ground or credibility, and most of its people will emigrate to the country of their second nationality.
I don’t see that Israel as we know it will still exist in 10 years; and I think that a transformational international conference on Palestinian rights will occur much earlier, probably on the 5 years horizon.

Keep in mind that no country that possesses live “nukes” will be attacked or invaded. There are striking similarities between the Menendez and Biden cases.
While Hunter Biden was allegedly selling access to and influence with his father, he also allegedly received massive payments. His associate Devon Archer told Congress that they were selling the Biden family “brand,” and that Joe Biden was “the brand.”
Like Menendez, Hunter Biden allegedly received a luxury car from his foreign clients. For the senator, the Justice Department says it was a $60,000 Mercedes-Benz. For the president’s son, investigators say it was a $142,000 Fisker sports car.
Menendez allegedly received gold bars worth up to $120,000. Biden received a diamond allegedly worth $80,000.
Indeed, the alleged object of these payments was influence with then-Vice President Biden, when he was the presiding officer of the Senate. Menendez was one of the nation’s most powerful senators at the time.
There are also dealings that reference Hunter Biden and his associates in the Menendez matter. When the senator was trying to arrange for Joe Biden to host a foreign event, an aide to Menendez reportedly reached out to Hunter Biden’s associates.
While the president’s son is accused of peddling influence, in Menendez’s case, it is his wife who is accused of acting as a go-between with those trying to buy the senator’s attention. Nadine Menendez allegedly had lunches and countless communications with people, who, according to the indictment, sought favors from the senator.

“There was a lot of terror in the newsroom that Podhoretz was a candidate – at least in his own mind,” reports one Post-er, though those fears were somewhat eased earlier this year when Podhoretz’s duties were cut back considerably. “If they wouldn’t name Eric Breindel editor of the paper, why would they name John Podhoretz?” snipes an ex-Post man. “Their politics are similar, but one guy could articulate it and one guy can’t – and that’s a serious drawback when you’re a journalist.” Now the well-regarded deputy editor, Xana Antunes, is considered the leading in-house contender to take over the top job. Neither she nor Podhoretz returned calls, but Post spokesman Howard Rubenstein says that Podhoretz “was never on a short list – or any list – to be editor.”

I read this book and I thought it was fabulous. TruVi is correct that it totally omits the Israeli role and focuses instead on the military industrial complex and the intelligence agencies. However I believe you are correct. The Israelis could not have done this by themselves.

You ought to think again. It is not proven that the explosions, which occurred on the Jewish new year of Rosh Hashanah a year ago, were due to intervention by US forces. However, later that month Scholz the White House visited again. The following White House statement clarified the situation:

Plenty of European countries were against the Nordstrom 2 pipeline, whose main proponents were Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The operation seems to have been conducted by a team of five men accompanied by one woman physician, according to the investigation. They rented a sailboat and left it in a big mess, leaving traces of explosives. It seems it was either an Israeli operation or a Ukrainian operation doing it in the style of an Israeli operation. Israel would have had an economic interest because it had plenty of gas it wanted to sell. Qatar also had an economic interest.

So can you explain today’s Russian perspective on world war II and the role of the Red Army in defeating the Germans?
4. Can you speculate what would have been the fate of Russia had the German invasion succeeded? Would the Germans have tried to enslave the Russians as they seemed to plan for Poland? Or would they have been satisfied to install a pro-German government in Moscow? Could the Germans realistically ever hope to dominate a country as enormous and as culturally different as Russia?
5. On a different tangent: Could you speculate had the Germans won the war would they have divided the world with Japan or would those two nations eventually have clashed? And what would have been the fate of the United States and England in the face of an Axis victory?

I believe there are strong grounds to suspect he was implanted here as a deep sleeper agent who ran the Israeli “art student” spies in America prior to 9/11.

However, the CIA as an organization was not clearly not involved, and probably many of the individual participants didn’t even realize why they’d been told to take the actions they did. Sure, Piper made a very persuasive case that Angleton was very much in the Israeli orbit, and that was one of the key arguments in his JFK analysis. John Newman’s very important book totally avoided the Israel angle, but he demonstrated that Angleton was probably one of the main JFK conspirators, so his entirely different analysis meshed perfectly with Piper’s.
By contrast, most of the JFK writers have always pointed to Allan Dulles, and I thought their arguments were pretty weak.
On a different matter, I really think your extreme hostility to Hersh, apparently over JFK and 9/11 makes no sense.
Earlier this year, I read Hersh’s memoirs, and discovered that he seems to have been an ultra-mainstream journalist during his entire career. How many mainstream journalists go near JFK or 9/11? Maybe 1%. When Tucker Carlson did his JFK segment, RFK Jr. said it was the most courageous broadcast in sixty years, and he may have been correct. So why should you be any more angry at Hersh than 99% of all the other journalists?

About Seymour Hersh. When I read the Samson Option many years ago I was quite enthralled and impressed with his revelations. I suspect Hersh reveals what the Deep State wants us to know, while someone like Whitney Webb reveals what they don’t want us to know. And that’s the crucial difference.
Yes, I’m aware of what LBJ’s mistress (Madeleine Brown) revealed, and I believe she was telling the truth.

And, as far as the JFK coup d’etat is concerned, from what I’ve gathered, it appears that Ron Unz would agree with me that Michael Collins Piper is the stand-out ‘breakthrough’ author on the assassination, in that he revealed more unspoken truths about the actual perpetrators of JFK’s murder (and their motives) than anyone, either before or since.

It must therefore be regarded as an intentional deception to distract away from the actual perpetrators, by blaming Biden instead – a task easily achieved, due to the plausibility of the accusation, the willingness for many to eagerly and uncritically want to believe it, and by exploiting his own name recognition, which was reinforced in an excessively flattering manner in the wake of reports of his story.
Since so many key European countries were against Nordstream 2, for which the primary beneficiaries were Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, there is a an analogous situation to the circumstances that preceded the Kennedy assassination (so this relates to the topic of the essay), namely a coalition of parties that were dissatisfied, led by one “player” that actually too the initiative. Arguments were even presented, for why Russia may have had a tactical interest in the pipeline’s destruction because it weakened Germany.
As I had mentioned, Israel, Norway, and Qatar were the primary beneficiary countries with regard to providing substitute gas to Germany. Poland and Ukraine were the two countries most strongly opposed to the pipeline. The list of potential suspects was indeed much longer than what the alternative media had presented, based on their willful misinterpretation of the word “we” in Biden’s threat in early February, so that the mystery of who was behind the sabotage that exploited Biden’s statement remained for months.
It was only after Hersh was exposed for his fabricated story, which was based on no corroborating information but merely his use of the simplistic Hey-Just-Trust-Me premise, that Israel became the primary suspect, though this is not conclusively proven, since the investigation is ongoing. One could say that the intended effect backfired. Still, the motives of economic gain and political leverage ought to be rather obvious. Just as Israel was able to more easily blackmail US policy after the Kennedy assassination, or the Bush Administration after the nuclear holocaust in Manhattan in September 2001, blowing up both gas supply pipelines provided additional power over Germany. to make it even more compliant than it already had been.
Look, you’re criticizing Hersh because he’s a different journalist than you’d like him to be, which is completely unreasonable.
He’s broken many of the biggest stories of the last half-century and I really don’t think there’s anyone who can match him. The Nord Stream pipeline attacks alone would be the biggest story in the career of almost any other journalist in the world. And as far as I know, not a single one of his major stories has ever been successfully contradicted, though most of them were ferociously denied by the government at the time.

And her coverage of Robert Kadlec seemed very peculiar to me. She focused mostly on Kadlec’s corporate profiteering, which was probably no worse than that of so many other government officials, and gave much less attention to his long advocacy of biowarfare, which was the crucial point. The most important thing about Kadlec was that he spent eight months running the Crimson Contagion exercise to prepare for the emergence of a Covid-like virus in China, an exercise that ended just a few weeks before Covid mysteriously appeared in Wuhan. But she totally excluded that story from her big Kadlec article, even though it had already been revealed a couple of months earlier on the front page of the New York Times.
One problem she has is that her articles tend to be very long and she mixes together important and unimportant material, so that the former gets lost in a huge quantity of the latter. As a result, I only discovered the important Kadlec facts many months later from an entirely different writer.
I certainly agree she’s done some excellent work, but I don’t think she’s ever actually broken a story in the same league as so many of the landmarks in Hersh’s long career.

You take the kind of information provided by a Hersh and then deduce all sorts of interesting perspectives that others have failed to see. What is the difference between you and someone like Hersh? He’s a journalist but you are an analyst? An essayist?
Finally could you comment on those who have trashed Hersh’s conclusions about Nordstream? Is there any conceivable reason to suspect the Israelis might have destroyed it? I could understand the Poles or Ukrainians but not the Israelis, unless they were mercenary contractors to the former state actors.

I looked back over your earlier comment. In #229 Mulga says that Nordstream 2 was blown up but you say only Nordstream 1 was blown up. Could you clarify?
I have a friend in the Czech Republic. He was also complaining about the Nordstream project. He claims that the Germans were receiving cheap gas from Russia and then quadrupling the price to sell it throughout Europe. In other words he claims that Nordstream was allowing the Germans to price gouge the rest of Europe. Is that true?
From what I understand, the replacement gas the Europeans are now buying from the Americans is similarly expensive. So I don’t see how European consumers benefited from the destruction of Nordstream at all. Perhaps competing sellers have benefited.

I did not say “only“. Both Nordstream 1 (operational since 2011 and second pipeline since 2012) and Nordstream 2 (operational permit declined prior to Russia’s invasion) were destroyed in September of last year on Rosh Hashanah. According to media reports there were a total of four destroyed pipes. At that time Germany had no liquid natural gas (LNG) terminals to receive any gas from ships. A key reason to build a direct pipeline directly from Russia to Germany was to bypass Ukraine, which was a corrupt and unreliable intermediary, and Poland, to save money on transit fees. There are obviously plenty of lucrative opportunities to extract money (high mark-up prices) from sales and gas trans-shipment fees.
The history of the political approval process shows that the US was actually more in favor of the project than numerous European countries. The most vocal opponent in the US was Ted Cruz from Texas. Most LNG from US ships would come from Houston, but gas from Norway, Algeria, Israel, and Qatar (a huge producer) has shorter ship routes to European ports. LNG terminals in the Netherlands and the Mediterranean can ship the gas throughout Europe, as can pipelines going through Ukraine. Top German stock companies have huge stakes owned by foreign investor interests, so the US is not necessarily so keen for the German economy to be weakened, as it has been portrayed in previous Unz Review articles and commentary.

If you have the time I’d be curious what your thoughts might be about what I’m about to describe.
Two renowned experts on propaganda, ie Elmer Davis (chief of the WWII era US Office of War Information) and Edward Bernays (author of the 1928 book Propaganda) were in solid agreement with each other that movies (ie motion pictures) were the ideal means to place ideas into a person’s subconscious mind without the viewer even being aware what had been done to them. One could probably safely say the same is also true of television programming.
As was described in the opening post, rightly or wrongly, there was apparently some bad blood between elements of the Jewish people and Joseph Kennedy, dating back to Kennedy’s time as a WWII era US ambassador to the UK. There was an apparent perception amongst these Jewish elements that Joseph Kennedy could have done more to help them in what they saw as their hour of need.
Potentially related, in the early 1960’s there was a very popular US establishment oriented TV series called Route 66 whose executive producer was Jewish, ie Herbert B Leonard.
There were two episodes of this series of possible interest as it relates to the Kennedy assassination.
The first was broadcast in 1962 and was called ‘Love is a Skinny Kid’. The episode via its symbolism is primarily an allegory of ‘the H’ of WWII as perceived by the Jewish people. [Pay attention to the character names, ie Miriam, Moses’ sister, and Lydia, the name of Europe’s first Christian convert, as well as dates such as 1943.]
Mixed in is Guy Fawkes Night symbolism, ie the 17th century November 1605 gunpowder plot to assassinate the king of England.
Lastly, the events depicted take place in a fictional ‘Kilkenny’, TX. While there is no Kilkenny TX there is a Kilkenny County, Ireland, whose river border the Kennedy family homestead is located roughly alongside. The townspeople of the episode are called ‘Kilkennians’, which sounds like ‘kill Kennedy’.
Love is a Skinny Kid (1962):
The second Route 66 episode of interest was scheduled for a late Nov, ’63 broadcast (but was pulled) and is entitled ‘I’m Here to Kill a King’. It tells the story of a wholly innocent new hire whose place of employment (unbeknownst to him) is located alongside the planned motorcade route of a country’s visiting chief political executive. Also unbeknownst to the new hire, he is the designated fall guy to take the blame for a high level assassination plot to take out this visiting political executive, and it is intended he be killed.
This episode, filmed in real time (Oct ’63) as Oswald was being hired on at the TBSD, closely parallels the actual events of Kennedy’s assassination. Incredibly, the in your face (completely unhidden) subtheme of this episode is: Arabs, New York, and Ground Zero.

Lastly, it’s almost certain that Jack Ruby personally met with the Route 66 series production crew as there is a documented newspaper photograph of the crew hanging out after hours at Ruby’s Carousel Club when they were in the Dallas area filming prior to the assassination.
I should add I think there is plenty of responsibility to share for the present sad state of affairs, and that while there are people involved, there may be more of an occult element involved in certain of these events than people in general would feel comfortable in acknowledging.

Sure, that’s exactly the difference. He’s an investigative journalist, who’s spent decades cultivating inside sources that have provided him huge scoops. By contrast, I’m more of a researcher or an analyst, someone who just reads lots of books and articles on a topic, then tries to make sense of the conflicting information. I don’t have any inside sources and probably wouldn’t be any good at getting them, so there’s no way I could do what Hersh and other successful journalist like him have done.
I’m extremely skeptical that the Israelis were involved, or even the Poles or Ukrainians. Hersh has a stellar track-record and his account was extremely detailed and clearly came from a very solid US source, probably someone he’s known for decades. Lots of other very knowledgeable people seem to believe he’s correct, so I think he probably is. Meanwhile, the conflicting story put out by Western intelligence sources, blaming the attacks on a handful of shadowy Ukrainian activists on a rented sailboat, seems totally ridiculous.
Hersh has also pointed out that Biden could easily request that our Intelligence services find out who did it, but hasn’t. That’s obviously because he already knows who did it.
In all honesty, Hersh is not particularly ugly-looking, there’s nothing really wrong about his look, he is just phoney and fake because he chooses, when it suits him, to side with the forces of evil against the most important issue of our time, the issue of world peace. Dear Michael, I am not Russian and I never worked for Russia.
I have worked for Western organisations inside Russia when it was legal, before the sanctions were enacted, which is why I know it a little, have met dozens of ordinary Russians who have remained friends, and can guarantee you that most of the Russian society stands behind President Putin’s policies.
The Russians I met are motivated by ancient as well as recent events. They are acutely aware and revolted by other Russians being massacred in Donbass for seven years. They also have a great loyalty to their elders who fought or died n WW2, so this Ukraine war by proxy just looks like yet another attempt to genocide them.
They are convinced that their government is decent and is only defending them. Why? Because they live in an immense country with immense resources, so large that it is plainly obvious to them that their government has no need to invade any another nation.
They are nothing like us in the West. They are strong and tough, the harder the situation, the tougher and more united they become. They have a great sense of sacrifice. They are very proud and aware of having been lagging in some aspects of modern life, so they work hard to become competent, organised and efficient. They are moved by spiritual beliefs, mostly patriotism, but also religion. I have never seen, in Western Europe, so many young people in their 20’s praying, as I saw in Moscow’s cathedrals.
With my passport issued by an “enemy country”, I bought a cheap 5 euros tourist ticket and freely visited the magnificent Kremlin, the heart of their Presidency, as well as all the heavenly cathedrals that stand on its grounds, receiving only smiles and warm welcomes. Put that in parallel with the abject treatment received by those poor Americans who were lured into their own Congress on the 6th of January, and then shot or sent to prison simply for exerting their right.
I travelled the world and couldn’t help making comparisons. Russia is strong, determined, extremely resilient, and willing to improve at every step along her ascending way; it will not be beaten.
Here are some ideas to run by you that I thought about for a long time.
1. Jewish mystics believed that they would be in exile under the domination of the Catholic Church for a thousand years. The First Crusade took place almost exactly a thousand years after the destruction of Jerusalem. So I’m wondering if the mistake of the Crusaders was not encouraging the Jews of Europe to move back to Palestine and to hold it on behalf of Christendom, similar to Zionism today. Instead the Crusaders killed Jews in Europe and also in the Holy Land. (And almost another 1,000 years later the first photo visualization of the image on the Shroud of Turin was produced within one year of the first Zionist Congress in Switzerland, suggesting to me a strong connection between the rise of Zionism and the return of Christ.)
2. I think the Eastern Church banished jewys from Byzantium early on. But the Western Church in Rome seemed to cater to the Jewish population in Western Europe. Do you have any idea why? I’m wondering if the Jews learned to pay generous bribes to the Catholic leadership?
3. In one of his parables Jesus tells a servant who had hidden money in the ground that he should have at least given it to the bankers so the master would receive interest. I wonder if this might be an allusion to the Jewish relationship to the Church. It seems that the Rothschild bankers have played a critical role in financing Vatican expenses. David Kertzer’s book, Popes against the Jews, claims that in the 19th century Jewish bankers were constantly bailing the Vatican out of debt. I think one of Hitler’s biggest mistakes was his failure to recognize the critical relationship between the Jewish bankers, whom he hated, and the Catholic Church. From the Catholic perspective it’s possible that one of the biggest sources of merit to the Jewish people is that Jewish bankers have been financing the Church.
4. Ironically while the Germans wanted European Jews to move to Palestine via the Transfer Agreement, the British proved to be the biggest obstacle to that in the 1930s.
5. When I was baptized back in the year 2000 my hope was that Jesus would allow the Jewish people and the State of Israel to adopt a fully collegial relationship with the rest of the world: That all men — including Jews — would become brothers in Christ. However the twisted ideology of Christian Zionism seems to prevent this because they believe Gentile Christians will be “raptured to heaven” before the Jewish remnant that accepts Christ is left behind to reign over what’s left of the world. In other words, the core ideology of Christian Zionism is that Jews and non-Jews cannot be fully equal in Christ. They base this belief on their interpretation of Scriptures but I think it’s a very tragic deviation from the true Messianic vision of Jesus of Nazareth and the Apostles, especially St. Paul.

Both America and Russia are polyglot societies consisting of many different races and ethnicities. The difference seems to be that Russia has a core identity of Russian Orthodox Christianity. While in America the core identity has been destroyed and things are spiraling into chaos. That may not have been a bad idea. I don’t begrudge the Jewish people a national home. I’ve always thought the Roman Empire should have let the Jewish people be. [I think empires are a bad business.]
I’ve heard that purportedly Byzantium had a policy of allowing Jewish people to live and work anywhere within their Empire (which included present day Israel for several hundred years) but with strict restrictions in not allowing them to work in banking, government, or, the church. [How true that actually is I can’t say.]
In regards to the Western Church, I have heard from some Catholics that there was a policy not to allow physical harm to come to the Jewish people in their ghettos while at the same time holding them in mocking derision for not believing in Christ. Like most people, I’ve heard of the 144,000 that will be saved in Israel. I’m not too familiar with the idea of a Jewish remnant left to rule the Earth, but am not saying there are not those who subscribe to that. I will say much of the modern church has an unhealthy relationship (or mindset) towards the Jewish people, ie an unhealthy dysfunctional subservience.
Are you familiar with this book? It directly addresses what you call brainwashing. The author, Jerry Mander, was a television advertising executive who became an industry whistleblower. He argues that the television is literally a brainwashing device.
He claims that brain scan studies on people watching television show that they are in a deep alpha hypnotic state. The purpose of television shows, like The Brady Bunch Dragnet and Hawaii Five-O, is to make sure you watch the advertisements and are influenced by them.
He also says that the most talented people in Hollywood produce the 60 second ads rather than the 60 minute shows. The whole point of the television shows is to babysit you and make sure you’re there wide-eyed and suggestible when the advertisements come on.
You might find this of interest. During the 20 years I lived in Israel, 18 in the ultra-Orthodox community, I discovered that they do not watch television. In many Orthodox neighborhoods it’s forbidden to own a TV and that’s a condition of the lease or rental agreement. If a person is discovered to have put up a satellite dish that’s grounds for eviction. Orthodox Jews do not watch television or movies, although the internet has made a pretty serious incursion on the youth.
I’ve also seen studies in America that correlate television watching with income. They discovered that the highest echelon of people, like CEOs and other executives, watch about 20 minutes of television a day. While the lowest echelon of blue collar workers watch up to 4 hours a day.
If you read Mander’s book you will come away horrified at the mentally stultifying power of the television. This is apart from other books, like Subliminal Suggestion, that address the subtle imagery in advertising meant to manipulate the unconscious mind.
It’s been a while since I read Mander’s book, but it’s basic argument is that the television puts you into a hypnotic state so you are completely vulnerable to the suggestive powers of the advertisements.
(I guess that today we’ve gone beyond that to the point where the shows themselves are brainwashing manipulation. Such as all the news presentations about 9/11 and so many other important issues.)

David Kertzer’s book explains what you have noted regarding the hypocrisy of Jewish-Catholic relations. He claims that while local parish priests would fulminate quite aggressively against the Jewish community, prominent Jewish bankers were popular guests of the top officials in the Vatican. The official Catholic policy was known as ideological anti-semitism, where the Jewish religion was condemned but the Church was committed to protecting the lives and property of Jews living in Europe. As you can imagine this is a pretty fine balancing act and down on the level of Catholic parishioners it was not always successful.
However it might surprise you to hear that I once attended a lecture in Jerusalem by a prominent Orthodox Rabbi on the problem of Christian missionaries in Israel. He prefaced his remarks by saying he had nothing against the Christian religion and not only that but when the Catholic Church was strong in Europe that was most conducive for the flourishing of the Jewish religion. He claimed that anti-Jewish violence was relatively rare and also exaggerated in the Jewish popular imagination. He said the situation of Judaism deteriorated markedly after the rise of Napoleon and the Enlightenment, when Jews were freed from the ghetto, granted European citizenship, and allowed to fully assimilate into the prevailing culture. However to be fair his brand of Judaism is precisely what Israel Shahak condemns in his book about the Jewish religion. Shahak says that the Catholic Church granted the rabbis virtually total autonomy to run their communities which they did as religious autocrats.
I met a rabbi in Israel who’s a big shot in the British Israelite movement and actively encourages the English-speaking peoples to consider themselves as part of the tribes of Israel. The idea of the Jewish remnant is not fringe in America; the Christian Zionist movement is built totally around it. The idea being that the Gentile Christians will be raptured to heaven before during or after the battle of Armageddon. It was only the Protestant Evangelicals and Christian Zionists who came along in the 19th century who suggested that Jesus has never reigned on Earth and the whole period of the historic Church is a kind of embarrassing accident and not part of God’s original plan.

You are partly correct. In the parable there are three servants each given a different amount of money by their master. The first two servants produce a return on the money probably to some kind of business. The third servant said he was afraid of losing the Master’s money so he hid it in the ground. This is the servant the master says should have at least given the money to a banker so the master would receive interest.
From the language it seems you are correct that it’s far preferable to engage in a business than to be involved with money lending. For Jews usury was forbidden so it’s pretty surprising Jesus mentions a banker. In fact this is one of his parables that is guaranteed to offend religious Jews because of its acknowledgment of receiving interest.

If Kennedy doesn’t believe what he is saying, then he is a liar. He could remain silent about Israel, but clearly that is insufficient for occupying Jewish Power who demand that Kennedy take an active position against the true Palestinians.
The implication of your comment is that you believe that at some point Kennedy will flip-flop and take a position against Israel. I don’t buy it, and he never will be able to accomplish this. He should at a minimum shut up and remain neutral. Instead he has taken his 30 silver shekels.
