I’ve studied this scenario for many decades. I suggest a little-known fictional book by Newton Thornburg, “Valhalla” (1980, Little, Brown and company). Very plausible version of what may realistically face the ordinary person during a collapse of The States. Though outdated a few years, still it presents basics of day-to-day scenarios with enough anecdotes to fill in the blanks. Man’s basic needs of food, shelter and safety are not lost in this well-written book.
And also, certainly, Thomas Chittum’s “Civil War Two”, for a pretty good analogy of the brutal reality of what America could face if things devolved into “The Big Jug” (Yugoslavia). And without reservation or emotional/political/religious attachment from Mr. Chittum, a man who served as a soldier and mercenary (IFV) over the span of several decades.

Bond auctions in the US are theater. If there are insufficient foreign buyers, the US banks vacuum up any excess under Fed orders. The Fed then back doors them the currency required, if necessary, and other measures try to limit currency leakage into the economy.

The much discussed interest rate control the Fed uses has no effect on the amount of existing currency in circulation, just its velocity. With high rates, newly created currency via banking fractional reserve magic does get limited, but this mechanism doesn’t remove any currency from the economy so it isn’t an inflation measure of any significance. Since monetary inflation is the precursor for price inflation, it’s only when the Fed removes currency from the market that it has a direct effect on price inflation.

So far, the Fed has removed very little over time as compared to the record amount it injected during the covid psyop roll out. The Fed must know it is losing the battle against price inflation but has the gov’t, its other arm, rigging the official inflation figures the media then pumps out as feel good, or at least feel better, news. Everyone knows the figures are a lie but everyone pretends to believe them to not be forced to consider the longer term consequences.

Every major central bank knows the days of fiat are ending since the debt that scam engineered can never be honestly repaid. Basel III declared gold a tier one asset a few years ago and that should have signaled future intentions to anyone paying attention. When the BIS, the central bank of central banks, declares that gold is no longer a shiny rock, that signals policy to every jew bank in the world.

The only real option for the Fed is to migrate their US resident prisoners of the existing Dollar system to a CBDC mechanism they can’t escape from while coming up with a new international currency mechanism, unavailable to the US population, for international trade settlement once forced into that move by Russia, China, et al. That new instrument will necessarily be backed with gold or something tangible to be able to compete. The gold stolen from various countries as part of their destruction along with any gold still left in Ft Knox will support this new instrument.

This brings us to the precious metals pricing. The US’s reported gold reserves haven’t been audited since 1956, so it’s anyone’s guess how much might actually be there versus pieces of paper or gold plated tungsten. For the US to be able to use its real gold for foreign exchange, each ounce would necessarily need to be worth at least an order of magnitude more than the price today. The revaluation of the metals in currency terms is going to get readjusted by all nations. It won’t be what is gold worth in dollar, yen, euro, etc but how much is the dollar, yen, euro, etc worth in gold. This will flip the script and (might / probably) cause precious metal mines to be nationalized and PM holding declared illegal once again.

This isn’t rocket surgery if people just think of the available options.

That’s a fair criticism. As I said though, ISAIF is just a summary treatment of the topic. For a more in-depth look at it, you’d need to explore other resources. Kaczynski’s main influence was Jacques Ellul’s The Technological Society, so to understand him better you’d have to read that as well. Ellul was a Christian theologian and philosopher, so you might have something in common with his worldview.

As to the so-called “anti-war protesters”, they only wanted one thing–to save their own skins–nothing more. In fact, when the draft ended, so did the protests.
Even present-day “uber-patriot” Ted Nugent got in on the act, defecating and urinating on himself and not washing for a month before appearing before the draft board–he was sent home. He stated that Vietnam “was not his war”…
The American Vietnam war was not a civil-war but was an INVASION by the communist North Vietnamese, who wanted control of the whole country. The INVASION was allowed to continue when American troops left and South Vietnamese troops were not resupplied.
Those who have watched the Ken Burns’ schlockumentary on Vietnam, in which he built up the North Vietnamese while exacting harsh criticism (lies) on the American and South Vietnamese troops were exposed to Burns’ lies and fabrications. Of course, to his credit, Burns let it slip that the re-education camps contrary to communist claims (actually prisons) would be in operation for approximately six months after the war was over, it turns out that many former South Vietnamese were detained for as long as twenty years.
Post-war Vietnam was so wonderful, tens of thousands of boat people risked life and limb to escape that communist paradise [silence].

One must look at the “big picture”, the geopolitical aspects and thoughts by the major powers at the time.
At the time, communism was advancing from country-to-country just by proximity to one’s borders.
As to Vietnam, it was feared that communism would “infect” Laos, Cambodia, and even Thailand—the “domino effect” being the prevailing belief at the time.
Right or wrong, the intent was to stop the spread of communism in its tracks. All one has to do is observe the successes of the North Vietnamese “Ho Chi Minh trail” which was successful in getting much-needed war implements to the South. This trail used the border areas of other countries as a supply line for the North.
Yes, the USA made many mistakes, one major mistake being the failure to assist Vietnam in throwing off its colonial shackles—the French, despite being approached by Ho Chi Minh who asked the USA for help.
The Vietnam situation was an INVASION by the communist North, and was not a “civil-war” which is the most common explanation, even today.
There are both cultural and language differences between the North and the South. The South had no desire to be “ruled” by the communist North. All one has to do is look at how many people “voted with their feet” and moved south after the partition in 1954.
The United States did have a valid fear of communism taking over that whole part of Southeast Asia. It was feared that Cambodia and Thailand would be the next “dominoes” to fall to communism.
It is interesting to note that, when the communists took over, they could not enforce the same rigid communist controls and goals on the South as they had on the North.

There was massive war profiteering going on with American companies “getting in on the action”. An interesting note–major American contractors formed a consortium–RMK-BRJ which handled most civil-engineering projects throughout South Vietnam. RMK was a contraction for “Robertson-Morrison Knudsen”, Morrison Knudsen being a large American firm. BRJ was a contraction for Brown and Root, another large American firm.
The “R” in RMK was none other than Pat Robertson’ Senator daddy Absolom Willis Robertson. The “J” in BRJ was none other than President Lyndon Baines Johnson. So much for American politicians being involved in war profiteering.

The CIA caused the Viet Nam War solely as a cover for Project Azorian – the same way they created the Faked Manned Moon Landings Hoax.

Then the State would likely randomly select a certain percentage for imprisonment or worse.
