With the 2020 U.S. presidential election less than a month away, there is widespread speculation concerning Democratic nominee Joe Biden’s mental and physical fitness at 77 years of age if he were to defeat incumbent Donald Trump on November 3rd. The former Vice President and Senator from Delaware would surpass his opponent as the oldest to ever hold the office of the presidency if victorious, while his generally acknowledged cognitive decline has led many to question whether he is even capable of serving a single term. Given the concerns about his health, the likelihood that Biden’s running mate, Senator Kamala Harris, would become his successor has put the controversial former prosecutor and California Attorney General’s own politics under scrutiny, though not to a degree sufficient with the odds she could very well become commander-in-chief in the near future. Trump himself suggested it was the hidden motivation behind House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s recent introduction of a 25th Amendment commission on removing a “mentally unfit” president to enable the replacement of an incapacitated Biden with Harris after the election. Even Saturday Night Live recently joked about Biden’s poor first debate performance as a Harris term in-the-making — but as journalist Caleb Maupin explains in his new book Kamala Harris and the Future of America: An Essay in Three Parts, the prospect of her becoming president is no laughing matter.

ORDER IT NOW

Maupin’s ambitious essay surpasses the redundant analysis of the vice-presidential nominee by placing her political success in a broader historical context while forewarning the unique danger of a budding Harris administration waiting in the wings. The majority of the critical examinations of Harris during the campaign have critiqued her rebranding as an outwardly “progressive” figure in stark contrast with the reality of her career as a ruthless criminal prosecutor turned establishment politician. While that is true, Maupin’s analysis takes an important step further by formulating the rise of Harris, who is the first Jamaican and South Asian-American nominee on a major party ticket, as the culmination of the U.S. left’s failures in the last several decades resulting in its present deteriorated state preoccupied with liberal identity politics. More specifically, a result of the defeats suffered by the so-called New Left of the 1960s and 70s which had long-term consequences for progressive politics in America today.

Although not a biography, Maupin does link Harris’s psychological profile, personality traits and upbringing with her political career which he parallels with the life stories of previous presidents and other political figures. Born in 1964, Harris was raised in a hub of the organized left in the Bay Area by immigrant parents who were politically active during her early childhood in Northern California. While not a communist, her estranged Jamaican-American father, Donald Harris, is a Stanford University professor and Marxian economist whose work influenced the progressive domestic reforms in his native island country during the administration of Prime Minister Michael Manley, a democratic socialist who introduced land redistribution, socialized medicine and free education until Jamaica’s neocolonization by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) decimated the Carribean nation with enormous debt, as explored in the documentary Life and Debt (2001). Young Kamala grew up attending civil rights protests in Berkeley with her parents until their bitter divorce which resulted in her Indian-American mother gaining sole custody. Maupin dares to ask — is her chosen career path as a criminal prosecutor and top legal officer disproportionately locking up black men unconsciously motivated by a vendetta against her father? Could it even explain her thinly-veiled contempt for the progressive politics she now pretends to uphold as a politician?

Maupin also argues that Harris was likely groomed for her present role as Biden’s running mate by the Clintonite wing of Democratic Party once it became apparent Hillary was not in a position to run again in 2020, citing a 2017 closed door meeting in the Hamptons with elite party donors and apparatchiks. Despite her own early exit from the primaries after a knockout blow in the debates delivered by Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii who sharply criticized her record as a prosecutor, Harris was already vetted by the party leadership to be Biden’s heir apparent. For the Democratic establishment, she is the perfect choice to derail the emerging progressive faction of the party led by Bernie Sanders which champions a similar brand of the social democratic politics championed by her father. This could also hold disastrous geopolitical implications, as the world is still reeling from the four years spent ravaged by the foreign policy of Hillary Clinton’s State Department which oversaw the wholesale destruction of several nations in the global south. We can only expect the same regime change policies from Harris if she is cut from the same cloth.

Maupin then uses Harris and her Berkeley upbringing to explore the history of leftism in the United States, tracing the New Left’s ceding of leadership roles to students and marginal groups while discarding labor rights and the class struggle back to the influence of the Frankfurt School of Social Theory. The philosophical movement of intellectuals and academics associated with the Institute for Social Research in Frankfurt, Germany, otherwise known as ‘critical theory’, put forward that both capitalist societies and Marxist-Leninist states like the Soviet Union were equally rigid “totalitarian” systems. The interdisciplinary sociological school viewed Marx’s prediction of revolutionary emancipation in the 20th century as an evident failure and rejected the historical materialism of orthodox Marxism, arguing that forces of economic change were undermined by the dominant ideology of the ruling class represented in mass media which produced false consciousness in the working class. Theorists such as Theodor Adorno and Herbert Marcuse attempted to reformulate Marxism with Freudian psychoanalysis and other disciplines while critiquing mass consumer culture and modern technology.

As the impact of the Frankfurt School gave rise to the New Left in the U.S. and Western Europe, mass social movements became housed in the universities instead of the factories. This was favorable to the ruling class, as student-led counterculture revolts were much easier to control in comparison with a revolution organized by the workers. If any authentic revolutionary leaders did emerge, they were quickly neutralized. After the student protests of 1968, the New Left withdrew further to its comfort zone in the realm of ideas and out of the streets, which was perfectly alright with the powers that be since they were intellectuals who denounced Marxism-Leninism. Soon the academy would be dominated by an even more pessimistic and “anti-authoritarian” ideology, postmodernism, which rejected the value of all universal truths and grand narratives. How did this all happen?

Maupin emphasizes that the intelligentsia of the New Left were actively supported by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) through its clandestine Congress for Cultural Freedom (CCF) program during the Cold War, which sought to subvert the sympathies of liberals and the non-communist left with the Soviet Union through the covert funding of prominent literary magazines, journals, international conferences, modern art exhibitions, and other cultural activities. The objective was to promote an intellectual consensus on the Western left that the Soviet Union was to be opposed as much as capitalism and it was indisputably successful. Meanwhile, the Church Committee and Rockefeller Commissions of the 1970s exposed how in the previous decade the CIA had played an enormous role in introducing drugs to the counterculture as part of its domestic espionage against the anti-war movement in Operation Midnight Climax, a sub-program of Project MK-Ultra, where the Bay Area became a petri dish for its human experimentation. With the drug culture came the popularization of eastern mysticism and eventually, the New Age movement.

As it happens, the relationship between the CIA and the New Left’s intellectuals goes back to its origins. One of the most prominent idealogues of the Frankfurt School, Herbert Marcuse — often referred to as the “father of the New Left” — spent almost a full decade during the 1940s working for the Office of Strategic Services (OSS), the precursor to the CIA, and as an anti-Soviet intelligence analyst in the U.S. State Department. This was not just during wartime but continued well after WWII was over in West Germany until 1951 when Marcuse immigrated to the United States to work as a professor at universities on the east coast, the same year that the CCF was founded. However, one interesting fact that Maupin overlooks is that while Kamala Harris was growing up in Oakland in the 1960s, Marcuse relocated his teaching career out to the west coast at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), where his work continued to be cited as an influence by the middle-class student activists and radicals of the counterculture as the left drifted further away from the socialist countries and the working class. The documentary Herbert’s Hippopotamus: Marcuse and Revolution in Paradise examines Marcuse’s time in Southern California in the late 60s.

Prior to his work in the OSS, in Weimar Germany the young Marcuse had been a pupil of philosopher Martin Heidegger even as his mentor infamously joined the ascendant Nazi Party, though the relationship came to an end once Marcuse’s own academic career was obstructed by the Third Reich in the early 1930s. One of the major thinkers associated with the New Left promoted by the CCF was a former lover of Heidegger’s, Hannah Arendt, who penned one of the most seminal and harmful works in equating the Soviet Union with Nazi Germany as twin pillars of authoritarianism in The Origins of Totalitarianism. In particular, Maupin takes aim at Arendt’s essay Eichmann in Jerusalem: A Report on the Banality of Evil where she famously observed Nazi war criminal Adolf Eichmann’s thoughtless conformism and ministerial disposition in his lack of remorse for his atrocities while covering his trial. Maupin interprets her notion as implicitly concluding that lurking underneath the surface of every ordinary hardworking person is a potential fascist, therefore anyone who would try to organize them for a collective cause is a threat to society. This cynical, psychoanalytic definition of fascism as rooted in what Adorno called the “authoritarian personality” replaced the Marxist economic understanding. Yet in spite of her work, Arendt controversially participated in the shameful post-war apologia and rehabilitation of Heidegger’s reputation.

Critics might say that Maupin’s diagnosis of the Western left as the manipulated brainchild of Western intelligence agencies is oversimplistic, conspiratorial or risks espousing a form of vulgar Marxism. Indeed, it is a touchy subject for those too personally connected to the artistic and intellectual milieu of the time to accept the undeniably significant role played by the CIA in subverting leftist politics, arts and culture in the second half of the twentieth century. Some on the left will inevitably try to dismiss his analysis by likening it to the right-wing canard of “cultural Marxism” spoken of by paleoconservatives simply because of the overlap in mutual subjects of criticism. Nonetheless, there is a small kernel of truth at the heart the right’s mostly fictitious narrative of Western Marxism’s control of academia but unfortunately, what they misinterpret as a plot to “subvert Western culture” was hatched at CIA headquarters in Langley, Virginia — not the former Soviet Union. Today’s pseudo-left which recoils working people is truly an imposter generated by the CIA’s cultural cold war program to replace actual Marxism, the real casualty of the pervasiveness of Western Marxism in universities.

Others may find Maupin’s assessment of the Frankfurt School and thinkers of the New Left to be too dismissive of their contributions. Ironically, Adorno’s worthwhile conception of “actionism” applies to the left-wing anti-intellectualism and leaderless, spontaneous voluntarism of the very movement to which the Frankfurt School gave birth and is even more relevant per Maupin’s thorough description of what he calls the “synthetic left” today. Look no further than the ‘propaganda of the deed’ which dominates Antifa and the ongoing Black Lives Matter protests this year. In Thesis on Feuerbach, Karl Marx articulated the predicament of revolutionary politics in his day being restrained by the gap between thought and action, or “philosophers have hitherto only interpreted the world in various ways; the point is to change it.” One could say the mantra of the Western left now seems to be taking action without any thought whatsoever. Or as Lenin wrote in What is to be Done?, “without revolutionary theory there can be no revolutionary movement.”

If the idea that Kamala Harris represents an apotheosis of the New Left’s failures feels like a bit of a stretch, it is only because the examination warrants further inquiry which Maupin should continue in his work, regardless of the outcome of the 2020 election. Nevertheless, in just a little over 125 pages he manages to comprehensively piece together the trajectory of the Western left from the end of WWII to what can only be described as its “stinking corpse” today, a term once used by Rosa Luxembourg to describe the treacherous Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD) after it voted to support the imperialist bloodbath of WWI in 1914. Maupin’s use of Harris and the environment she grew up in as a springboard to investigate the shortcomings of the Western left generally is a formidable exploration that is desperately needed at a time where the American people are faced with the probability of enduring yet another destructive administration and no authentic left to represent it.

Very helpful article. Harris also invites the Andrew Krieg treatment (Presidential Puppetry) which piles up support for the proposition that nobody gets near the White House without running lots of errands for CIA. Until Trump, in fact, the last few presidents have been CIA nomenklatura: DCI Bush; Clinton, recruited by Cord Meyer, comprador of the Mena drug trade; dynastic spy brat Bush II; and Obama, the 3rd-generation spook greased into Harvard by AlWaleed bin Talal, who jaunted to Pakistan without getting his head sawed off and interned at BIC. Let’s look into how CIA groomed and initiated young Kamala.

Max’s study could be bookended by one that looks at the orthogonal axis of US politics. We hear mostly about the reductive 1-D continuum of “left” and “right.” We’ve forgotten about the complementary Y-axis of realism v. idealism – probably because it was ferociously suppressed by McCarthy blacklists and obscured by human rights distortion. We should look hard at the infantile solipsistic wanking that CIA cultivates as left dissent. But we should also look at what CIA attacks.

CIA fought rights and rule of law tooth and nail because those things threaten impunity, CIA’s raison d’être. CIA purged the UN Secretariat, framed Alger Hiss, persecuted the authors of We Charge Genocide, shot Dag Hammarskjöld out of the sky, and shoehorned blackmail-ready Nazi Waldheim in there. CIA fought last-ditch battles against every human rights declaration and convention, subverting them in the drafting, ratifying fingers-crossed with illegal congressional loopholes, evading review, and walling them off from US law. Look into it and you see that the salient policy continuity of the postwar era has been the government’s effort to keep human rights out of your reach.

So sure, CIA induces GOP dupes to caricature Harris as a frightful Kali statue. But who do they lock up when they show up to debate? Cheri Honkala, leader of the Poor People’s Economic Human Rights campaign. Who will they not talk about at all? Ajamu Baraka, founder of the US Human Rights Network and the Black Alliance for Peace.

The 20th century had two revolutionary movements: the commies, a flash in the pan; and the real thing, which is still going strong outside the US iron curtain. The real thing has codified international criminal law, developed its pacific civil complement in state responsibility doctrine, and evolved into People-Centered Human Rights, an international movement for perpetual bottom-up revolution. It’s what Trotsky would be up to now, if you pried the icepick out and reanimated him. That’s Kamala’s real enemy.

The new left is trash, everyone agrees with this. But the Marxist Leninist Left needs to come to terms with genes and biology. My ideology is Marxist material dialectics which would naturally lead to acceptance of genetic. It is a fact that there are genetic influenced behavioral differences between individuals, such as impulsiveness. Some behaviors may be determined by culture but also be determined by genes. the failure of marxist leninist regimes to embrace eugenics contributed to their fall and it will also contribute to the fall of the capitalist west. What will most of the world fall into? high crime dysfunctional superstitious poverty

I’m left of center on a few issues; Marxism is authoritarianism. If you desire to live in a society wherein 300 pound black lesbian kommissars dictate how many times you can flush your toilet in a 24 period, or whether you will be issued housing with a toilet, then you are about as useful to the “future” as white right-wing Christian males who wash black feet for Jesus.

Brotherly national socialism. Not supremacist national socialism with wars of aggression. Nazis like to make Hitler look like he had no choice but to invade the USSR because the USSR was preparing for war. Well of course the USSR was preparing for war Hitler’s political manifesto mein kampf had chapters explaining his desire to subjugate Slav lands and how he would administrate Germany’s new territory. It would have been criminal and negligent if the USSR was not preparing for an invasion by a militant anticommunist slav hater.

The aim of socialism is to raise all peoples to a level of dignity and self management, not an arbitrary declaration of a permanent right to rule of one people over all and building a structure to maintain dominance over others instead of doing the socialist thing and putting in structures so all will eventually be capable of dignity and self governance.

What a staggering cognitive dissonance that Democratic Black Activists are voting for a woman who made jokes about sending people to prison.

It has been my consistent experience that ruthless prosecutors are sadists. The zealot who wants to give a working class guy 6 months probation for Attaching a Tag Not Assigned to his truck is generally a dangerous person.

Make no mistake: Any violent or thieving criminal should be punished. But going to prison ruins your life unless you have family money and clout when you are released. If no one is there to pick you up, you are given a one way bus ticket and about $60-100. Where do you sleep? The street. How do you make money? Selling drugs again.

So, you go in with Associates in Petty Crime and come out with a Pd.D in Predation, due to your fellow inmates teachings and the immediate need to “hustle” when you are let out.

The criminal justice industry is a tar baby- it will not let you go without strenuous, meticulously curated behavior. It’s funny to her because she believes it cannot happen to her.

America will not be course corrected until people like Harris, Hillary, Bill and the war criminal George W. Bush have to savor the idea of eating Nutraloaf while dodging fist fights naked in the group shower.

Harris doesn’t have the brainpower to suss out the nuances of dialectical materialism. She’s in it for the gibs like all grifter politicians. This side of the street promises more so that’s where she’ll hang around. Just another narcissistic sociopath who’ll do anything to capture the throne. Having a race baiting type like her as president will really create chaos and conflict in this country as never before. Is that the plan, to stoke massive upheaval? She’ll be a tool, sure, but what does she care, she’ll be riding in a limousine as the queen. She dropped out early in the primaries because of her lack of appeal and yet the Dems are now trying to bring her in through the back door.
The capitalist bait-and-switch scheme of creating a fake left of identity politics to take the place of the actual class-based left was very clever. The former working class producers of surplus value have now been trashed as deplorables. However, they’ve set in motion something which has grown and might end up burning the country down for all their cleverness.

The Marxist Leninist left can’t come to terms with genes and biology because Marxism is based around blank slate. You lose your argument for the workers taking over the means of production if there is in fact a natural hierarchy of men.

What the left needs to do is go back to focusing on improving the lives of workers and reducing inequality. That can be done without getting into biology or Marxism. Tax the rich and spend the money on the poor. It really is that simple.

The Soviets never gave anyone the choice of who rules them. Not their own people and they even executed competing Socialists and union leaders that wanted democracy.

Joe will know if he goes into hospital, Harris supplanting him movement would gain momentum and might be unstoppable in view of the worries about dementia in the back of everyone’s mind. Biden will demand to get treated in the White House. The doctors will be supplying treatment at reduced effectiveness. The odds of Biden dying or becoming very seriously ill from corona or suffering lasting effects from it in the near future are not long, and for Harris the infection of President Biden will make it extremely likely she is put into the presidency sooner rather than later through a medical disqualification of Biden. Moreover, it will be better to blame it on corona than admit slightly later Biden is showing unmistakable signs of dementia, and the Dems knew that all along.

The preparations that are ostensibly for removing Trump are actually going to be used on Biden, who will insist he is fine and refuse to resign unless confronted with an alternative of being forcibly removed. Harris is going to be President within 18 months.

Socialism is more a mindset than a rigid system, for example one may practise socialism by throwing their rubbish in the bin which is a a few hundred metres away rather than just throwing it on the street, as one feels he/she is part of the community and must keep it clean for others with the expectation that the other members will keep it clean for them. There are also other such actions such as donating to a local charity, volunteering etc etc.

What this requires though is a strong community one can identify with, this community could be based on race or culture, although a combination of the two is the best.

When you see people being Mexico flags and celebrating Mexican holidays, as a European American, or if you are Pakistanis celebrating Pakistan independence day on the streets of London, do you really feel that there is a coherent community and do you really feel part of it?

It is actually interesting how much Capitalism has hijacked leftist movements by injecting identity politics into it, even civic nationalism is becoming unacceptable and we must allow “freedom” for others to do their own thing. This is not conducive to socialism in any way possible.

You make a good point about recidivism, but what else are we supposed to do with criminals except lock them up? The petty criminals I’ve known who avoided prison got their PhD on the street anyway. What we should’ve learned from the experiment of short prison sentences and rehab programs from the 60s thru 80s, is they don’t work. The revolving door just enabled criminals to prey on more victims. A career criminal I grew up with once told me he just didn’t like working. That was it. No program was ever going to change him and I think that’s the case with most of the criminal class.

Not a single mention of the fact that Marcuse was a Jew, along with the rest of the Frankfurt School, financed by a Jew. Why was he “obstructed”? Gee, it just happened.

Presenting this as “not muh reeeaal communism!” as Max Parry does, pretending that the “elite” preferred the Frankfurt School, is false.

As if the U.S. government would have somehow created this Frankfurt School control of the universities, because “mass social movements became housed in the universities instead of the factories”.

So, Max Parry thinks that this is what doomed his precious Marxism “in the factories”? Why? Did the universities suck up all the oxygen? “We were GOING to organize here in the factory, but we can’t. Because there are other people organizing in the university!”

Or could it be because the workers weren’t interested in communism? And all over Western Europe, the workers – and everyone else – became less and less interested in communist parties and Social Democrat parties.

That is why they started importing immigrant voters, from the 1970s onward. Which someone like Max Parry will never acknowledge. Labour in Britain had their race committee already set up at that time, blasting “racism” in Britain.

The Frankfurt School is a way to create feminist, homosexual and immigrant movements because Whites rejected communism, and White voters in the West have been going slowly but steadily to the Right since at least the 1970s. More wealth and more literacy means less Left. This is what Max Parry doesn’t want to acknowledge.

This isn’t about Kamala Harris at all. Communist Max Parry is just using her name to make people click.

This is about Max Parry’s false worldview, where his “pure” Stalinist communism was somehow derailed by the Frankfurt School, which was a … CIA plot! (The “proof” being that leftists within the CIA fifty years later financed some counter-culture art.)

Somehow, the fact that there were communists in universities prevented there from being a communist revolution in American factories. Apparently there is only one square available on the chessboard for communism.

    1. Communism has never been worker-driven. It was always run by educated middle-class, and specifically Jews. The Social Democrats in Russia, later called the Communists, had practically no workers at its annual meetings.

    2. The Frankfurt School, founded in communist hot-house Germany, was welcomed by other communists. Always has been. Everyone could see that economic Marxism wasn’t enough, Westerners would never vote for it in large numbers. They needed cultural Marxism.

    3. Cultural Marxism always existed. It wasn’t something that derailed, like Max Parry pretends. It is in the Communist Manifesto, where the rapist Marx rails against conservatives and their values, and wants free-love collective living. (So men like he and Engels could get access to women.)

Karl Marx’ son-in-law Paul was Black, Jewish and Indian. He said he was:

an internationalist by blood before he was one of ideology.

“the blood of three oppressed races runs in my veins.”

When Daniel De Leon asked him about his origins, he said:

I am proudest of my Negro extraction.

This is communism, from the beginning. It created the center for European homosexuals in Red Berlin. It created the anti-work, hippie-style Café Culture, with drug use and alcoholism. It fomented riots all over Europe, so that Yeats wrote:

“Things fall apart, the center cannot hold
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world
    ….
    The best lack all conviction
While the worst are full of passionate intensity.”

This is from observing the communist rioters from his office in London.

Communism attacked White empires, slavery, “oppression”. Cultural Marxism was part of it from the beginning. The Jewish Frankfurt School simply focused more on this side than the economic side. It was not in opposition to the economic side, but that side simply wasn’t a winner among Westerners. Not “in the factories” either, as Max Parry dreams of.

The fact that the Democrats don’t call for government ownership of all businesses is an excuse for people like Max Parry to claim that “that’s not THE REAL Left! They are actually … capitalists!”

But the Left long ago realized that total government monopolies was a disaster. Better to import immigrants for permanent election victories, and bleed the successful builders and their businesses through increased taxation once power is secured. Then dish that out to the Left’s support groups. Leftist Jews, and brainwashed Whites who have gone through the universities, support this. Some of the brainwashed will sit in boardrooms.

Max Parry: “Aha! Look at this supporter in a boardroom! That means it’s all CAPITALISM! Not REAL leftism.”

Even Swedish Social Democrats have been allying with leftists in boardrooms for at least two generations, who are favored, in order to control the business world and the rest of society. “But that’s not REAL leftism! Muh communist factory workers!”

Marx was discovered to be a British agent deployed to distort the advances of the American Revolution, particularly in the operations against Hamilton dealing with economics in the utilization of national credit towards improving the condition of the capabilities of labor as the moral imperative of civilization, towards aa universal culture typified by the methodologies of thought that created the Renaissance, needed today!

  41. Since I was “there” in the New Left movement Maupin’s basic idea that the left was influenced by the CIA is, essentially, correct in retrospect but in a different way than the article indicates. The attempt to use the counter-culture (supposedly weakened by LSD etc.) to destroy the labor-student-minority alliance actually caught fire in 67-8 and threatened to bring down the whole imperialist set-up the CIA thought it was defending. Leaders did emerge in various areas and were destroyed one way or the other by the CIA/FBI. At the top of that leadership was Martin Luther King who, despite the growth of black cultural nationalists and “black power” activists (who did all they could to sabotage the left), was clearly a figure who intended to create a coalition of civil rights activists, labor, and students to form a much more muscular and focused left that had not been seen since the 30s. To make matters worse, the debacle in Vietnam opened the door for Robert Kennedy’s candidacy to oppose Richard Nixon in the 68 election. I believe and I know the CIA believed Kennedy would win and the CIA would be faced with a POTUS that had a grudge against them and a charismatic leader that would move the country relatively quickly into a European style social democracy and a true detente with the Soviet block. This was totally unacceptable to the CIA and its network of goons and corporate leaders. So they murdered both of them and, through the agency of Operation Mockingbird that created a CIA controlled media Narrative (the same operation is in place today) the left refused to believe these acts were anything other than random and thus we accepted the official explanation. This along with COINTELPRO was the real cause of the decline of the left to the pathetic corporate/CIA controlled “movement” we see today. This is why there is no chance the left can re-emerge unless it is a mass movement without leaders (they will be neutralized as we intuitively know) based in disparate communities. This is why the few old-time leftists who learned our lessons know that only an alliance with the anti-authoritarian right has any chance of succeeding.

A central component of the Frankfurt School is critical theory which was created to undermine Western reason and debate. So you can’t just point out the flaws of egalitarian or leftist thinking because you are only revealing your bias and support for the system. The whole theory is packaged with meaningless pyschobabble and actually works well at duping White egalitarians in the social sciences into believing that Western objective thinking itself is biased (but they found some supreme truth).

Indeed, Marxism-Leninsm is mired in idealism through and through. It is Marxism that gave materialism a bad name. Materialism in philosophy is the idea that only matter exists – and that idea is clearly true. Conversely, idealism is literal Christian schizophrenia, the belief in magic, spirits, and the equality of races.

But myopic in its Christian residue Marxism only sees matter in economics (1)! Obviously, I do not deny economics. But matter clearly encompasses the genes (2), too! And the culture (3). And the political will (4).

It’s always been my opinion that the New Left was just another communist radical front group. Because I knew the middleaged and older wealthy commie liberals who organized your movement. I knew the commie brainwashers aka professors who organized those Freedom Rides.

New Left. Look at Kathy Boudin. She’s the third generation and her son Chesa is 4th generation commie Jew. Great grandfather 1900 Jew radical commie, I forget his first name. Workers never, ever, ever were so naive and stupid as to fall for the student black minority workers coalition. The workers know that the only thing that provides high wages is unions.

It’s proved to be true. Why do you think black bus drivers with GEDs make 120K a year with night and weekend differential and overtime? The bus drivers union.

Why do you think that in terms of lifelong earnings, real wealth etc nurses are approaching equity with Drs? The nurses have a union and Drs don’t. Well, starting a career at 23 rather than 35 and student debt has a lot to do with it too. Why do you think the majority of nurses are still White Americans while White American men have been shoved out of medical school in favor of women and foreigners? The nurses have a union, by and for nurses.

Reuther, Fitzsimmons and the rest and the rank and file needed no help from Jewish sissy city boys and girls whose grandparents were founding members of CPUSA. “ Streets and Sanitation (sewers) and Water and Power Department men make more than teachers who have BAs and even Masters and Piled Higher Deepers. “. Sob sob.

I strongly believe the New Left jews knew exactly what they were doing. After all, their parents did it in the 1930s, grandparents in the 1900s and great grandparents back in Russia.

The New Left goyim were just naive innocents.

Northern Democrats were a labor party . Then LJB and the New Left came along.

I was there. I saw what LJB and the New Left did to Whites. If I were a conspiracy theorist I might speculate that LBJ accelerated the Vietnam War so as to enrage young people to join a government front anti war movement. These things have happened.

Didn’t mean to be so aggressive but the young New Left just grabbed all the LJB billions and carpetbagged into my happy little city and happy little criminal courts building and destroyed it.

Plus, I knew the New Left was funded by a combination of the tax payers billions wasted on those War On Poverty Offices where the commies plotted and Standard Oil money.

RFK was an opportunist; a few years after he worked for Joe McCarthy he was working for Cesar Chavez.

Chavez was actually an old fashioned labor union leader. His idea was end illegal and legal immigration of the endless stream of farm pickers. Instead of following planting and harvests, farm workers would stay in one town, buy homes settle down just like factory workers

Developments in California agriculture actually was going in that direction any way, mixed crops in the same area. Strawberries in April strawberries and cherries in May and June. First plums, then apricots then peaches finally apples and pears then in December the first oranges lemons and grapefruit that lasted all winter and spring till the first strawberries. Did you know Davis has managed to breed strawberries that start to fruit when day and night temperatures are in the 4os F?

And then LBJ and the New Left cane along and the farmers were allowed to bring in more illegal easily exploited farm workers than ever before. This exodus of farm workers led to a baby boom in Mexico. The farmers couldn’t keep farm workers in Mexico so the Mexican government encouraged a baby boom to create the next generation of farm workers.

But the useful idiots scorned the mex Americans who did the farm work and wept wailed and slobbered over the masses crossing to border to undercut farm worker wages and conditions.

Farm work is one of the most dangerous occupations there is, whether livestock or crops. Cessation Chavez’ Farm Workers Union wanted to ensure worker safety just as factories warehouse clerical office retail construction and every other business does. The farmers don’t need Workmen’s Compensation coverage because the Farm Labor Contractors are supposed the have that coverage. But they don’t

The only way industries prevent injuries is when their Wcom insurance companies force them to. You know how insurance companies fight every claim. But when neither the business or the labor contractor has no Wcom insurance, there’s nothing to enforce worker safety.

The only people who can help workers is for them to form unions that work with the industry by lobbying to make that industry profitable.

Example is IBEW the electricians union and the electrical business as a whole from the copper mines to google amazon data centers. Together they fund the anti fossil fuel movement all electric buildings lights that turn in and in as people walk around an office or warehouse and even electric cars.

Workers don’t need sissy boy 20 year old students They need unions. Liberals just love minimum wage healthy organic food grass fed free range HMO free food supermarkets that cater to the wealthy elite. But which supermarket clerks make a decent living? Only the workers in the unionized supermarkets.

Michael King plagiarist wife beater woman beater communist trained POS. RFK sleazy opportunist

How do I know King beat his wife as well as his prostitutes? A retired FBI agent who spent years listening to the tapes the FBI had in King’s home told me.

They contend that the Sultan bought the property from funds from his personal estate, paid taxes on it to the Turkish Government, and was the personal owner with a title as good as any person could have for real property.

Hamid was deposed and driven out of power by the Young Turks, but this, it is alleged, did not impair his title to the property nor the right of his heirs to inherit it.

I grew up in an Alger Hiss era communist household, Dad’s close friend was Earl Browder We lived in the same town. At least when Browder breezed in between supervising attempted revolutions here and there. Mom and Dad were like agents of influence. Never joined the party. Met at a party gathering.

I knew it from the inside from when I was born.

Heard Alger and Priscilla actually we’re comrades when I was 4,5? Years old. And the rejoicing when he got out. Some of my and siblings earliest memories are hearing denunciations of Truman, Whittaker Chambers , free the Rosenbergs , hatred of McCarthy

Heard from commie parents and friends that Alger and Priscilla were comrades during the hearings and trial. Decades before the Venins transcripts were revealed I was about 5 but since they and friends never shut up about Alger and Priscilla I remember.

Dad did some traveling and stuff with Earl Browder in the 1930s before he settled down. He always said it was labor union organizing and civil rights for blacks stuff. Ha ha. As far as I know, the FBI didn’t spy in my parents. The FBI did spy on some of their friends , allegedly, a point of great pride.

My opinions are formed by personal experience, not by being gullible and naive like you. Dad taught me to be a cynic. He taught me too well as I became cynical about his beloved commies blacks, communist China later feminazis, stick it to the bourgeoisie.

He was in the Council of Foreign Relations agitating for diplomatic relations with China. He was like you, gullible, naive, brainwashed. Didn’t know the whole push for diplomatic relations with Mao’s China was a project of the evil Rockefeller industries.

I lived it. You didn’t and you are a gullible naive brainwashed liberal moron.

He was even anti boys sports teams, fraternities, organizations like volunteer fire departments any ordinary middle class thing. Long before the media and colleges denounced boys sports and fraternities. The commies really hated fraternities for some reason.

Dad also denounced that book Swiss Family Robinson because it emphasized an individual nuclear family going it alone.

Later after I grew up I found the communist parties all over the world denounced all the fairy tales and children’s books, especially Swiss Family Robinson and Robinson Cruso Individual success in a very bad situation. That’s totally anti communist.

I grew up in the old left beatnik commie mileu. Oh, I forgot they were also friends with Bob Truehaft running his cell in Berkeley
I got out of college into the New Left milieu

    there are bored geniuses now!

bored geniuses would be less likely in socialism because society would structure labor to be meaningful rather than profit for wealthy enployers abd conglomerates. and work responsibilities would be distributed to those who are at a level and skill to handle those responsibilities.with a reduction of work hours accompanying automation there will be less work hours for all. I think many employees stuck in bullshit jobs would rather clean bathrooms for two hours and be free the rest of the day than look busy while doing nothing in between pointless meetings and redundant work.

currently the quality of people is not high enough nor the culture ready for worker self management but that should not deter us.

the technology and methods are there but will never be implemented because one class would prefer not to and the working class is not class conscious(one mistake of Marx was assuming the workers would develop class consciousness, this is a mistake because there is a cognitive and social behavior minimum to develop it, and the genes for it are not selected for, sadly😥)

[O]n April 3, 1919, Wilson fell ill with flu-like symptoms. Recognizing that “the whole of civilization seemed to be in the balance,” his physician downplayed the sickness and ordered bed rest. Ever since, historians have wondered about this episode …Wilson wasn’t the same man. He tired easily and quickly lost focus and patience. He seemed paranoid, worried about being spied upon by housemaids. In other words, he acted like a man with residual neurological problems stemming from a recent bout of Spanish flu.

Over the next crucial weeks, Wilson lost his best chance to win the peace by agreeing in principle to draconian terms favoured by France. The final settlement punished Germany with a formal admission of guilt, enormous reparations and the loss of about 10 per cent of its territory. […]

Could a more forceful Wilson have secured a better peace? Would that peace have kept monsters like Hitler on the fringes? Of course, we can’t know. But by bringing medical and historical research together, we can get closer to what actually happened, and think better about what might have happened. We can also use this incident to reflect on the awesome power of U.S. presidents, then and now, to shape the fate of unborn millions. Surely that calls for a close watch over their mental health.

The problem with Kamala is that she appears to be full-on the woke train. She still believes Jussie Smollett. She keeps on repeating the BLM mantras.

Is it really just a coincidence that the Jussie Smollett hoax involved the alleged perps putting a noose around his neck and Harris co-sponsoring a federal anti-lynching bill in the senate? The bill was actually introduced just seven months before the so-called hate attack on someone she deemed her friend:

This was an attempted modern day lynching. No one should have to fear for their life because of their sexuality or color of their skin. We must confront this hate.

Is it just another coincidence that Harris was also thick with the prosecutor, Kim Foxx, whose office dismissed the charges against Smollett in the least transparent recusal ever?

    Kim Foxx

Long have I come to the realization that the CIA is the prime nodal point of the Deep $tate. In the late Gary Webb’s book (he “committed suicide”–perhaps in ways similar to Jeffery Epstein and many others) on the introduction of crack cocaine by Freeway Ricky Ross in South L.A., Webb’s research proved to me that both the Department of $tate and the Department of “Justice) are under the operative control of the Agency.

That the CIA is the enemy of WE THE PEOPLE and thus is guilty of High Treason against the Bill of Rights and our constitutional republic, is beyond question. They are also the enemy of common humanity right across the planet. I will not even deign to cite specifics as most posters on this site are quite conversant with their crimes, internationally and domestically.

Though I have developed an opinion on the matter, my question to other posters here is simply this: Is the agency a power unto itself, or does it answer to higher shot-callers? Please, I do not refer to their alleged raison d’être, to be a conduit on intelligence matters for the president of the United States. A few grams of lead dispensed on 11-22-63 at Dealey Plaza in Dallas should disabuse anyone of the tired notion that the president is the most powerful man in the world.

bored geniuses would be less likely in socialism because society would structure labor to be meaningful rather than profit for wealthy enployers abd conglomerates

This is a misunderstanding of the economy. You can’ t make boring jobs go away. They are based on need.

currently the quality of people is not high enough nor the culture ready for worker self management but that should not deter us.

So why be a Marxist if the people don’t match the ideology? Marx didn’t say we need to wait for genetic engineering for his plans to work. He clearly didn’t have a sound plan and a lot of his criticisms of capitalism already existed.

I am a marxist but a very pessimistic one.

Unlike most Marxists you have potential and can think for yourself. I don’t know why you would confine yourself with that label. I have debated a lot of Marxists so I’m not just saying that.

You can be for workers and against the worst of capitalism. I absolutely hate the rich and poor divide that we currently have. We have a lot of problems from this belief that the “free market” can fix everything or give us the best possible economy.

To really see the problems with Marxism I would suggest getting more experience in a workplace or any organization really. Even better if it is public facing. You will see why it is a bad idea to let a board of workers run a company. Even if you have some talented workers the democratic process is just too slow and inefficient compared to a talented manager. There is always at least one worker that will drag down the group and waste time. Marx never ran a business and was oblivious to this problem. He was more of an antisocial that stayed at home and wrote abstract theories. He didn’t venture into various industries to understand them.

With less than 5% of the planet’s population, the U$ has a full 25% of its incarcerated individuals. Please let those stats sink into your cerebrum and perhaps even into subconscious REAL-I-zation. Does this situation arise because Americans are four times more criminally-minded than any other country? Amazingly, China and India, each with over a billion inhabitants, have a combined prison population lower than the U$ with some 340 million–most of us being citizens.

The entire law n’ order game, the corrupted court system and the incarceration industry are nothing more than huge money-making rackets. Professor Baz Dreisinger of a major law-school in New York wrote a book titled “Incarceration Nations”. She traveled to and investigated lock-ups in eight foreign countries ranging from Rwanda to Norway. Guess which country (not one of those 8) came out looking to have worse imprisonment systems than any of those lands?

Nutraloaf, as cited by TKK is only one of many punishment regimes within this ruptured republic’s penal system. The list is long and scary–like steel or concrete torture racks topped by thin mats, upon which prisoners are obliged to “rest”–or food which a majority of Americans would not feed to their family pets and which is far less nutritious than that fed to caged animals in zoos. What kind of humanity are we talking about here?

I ask a simple question: Is not loss of personal freedom for long, generally wasted years of one’s life not punishment enough by itself?

The violent human cockroaches, the cunning sociopaths and the sexual, child and animal abusers should be kept away from society. The pragmatist in me believes they should be put to work immediately.

I hate littering. With such a huge population of inmates- we should have immaculate streets and highways, beaches and parks.

So- a 6 day, 12 hour workday as opposed to watching tv, gambling and being general idiots. Senior Citizens, the disabled or even the poor working class could sign up for free home repairs and yard care (under armed guard) for all this wasted labor that wiles away the hours in people warehouses. Sorting trash for recycling. Tasks the government pays for- according to skills sets- all provided by inmates.

This alone might be a deterrent. And a punishment for the ones you reference who have an allergy to an honest 8 hour days work.

I believe all drugs should be made legal and used to pay for universal health care for American citizens. This alone would wipe out a large number of the incarcerations numbers- dealing, using, trafficking.

I would strongly that all devout materialists read the works of Rupert Sheldrake and other thinkers who base their works on the discoveries of the quantum physicists and other researchers who have determined that thought can affect particles and waves at the sub-atomic level.

Ron: Hoping Alden takes you up on the offer. An insider perspective on the CPUSA from back in the day would be a most fascinating topic. Red-Diaper babies usually tag along in the footsteps of their parents, but not all of them. Alden is such an exception.

I have met one of the former, Alan Maki, when we were part of a group which fought the Scott corporation in their attempt to mine the very heart of northern Minnesota’s Big Bog several years back. Alan’s father, a Red Finn from Minnesota, was transferred by the Party to Duluth, where he ultimately was guided by the party into the arms of a Yiddischer woman whom he married. So we might assume that this all-around activist, was in a sense, designed by the CPUSA. Maki is a fascinating ethnic combination as he has the chutzpah of his Khazarian heritage along with the “Sisu” (roughly translated as “guts” of the Finnlander. Like most who are still close to the Party, Maki is a devout member of Minnesota’s Democrat Former Labor Party and most probably a Biden supporter.

A second acquaintance, Dr. Will Sandstrom, whose grandfather was a Finnish immigrant iron-miner/homesteader on the Mesabi Iron Range, was an activist in the mostly Finnish labor union which fought the mine owners (led by the Rockefeller Crime Clan) in 1906. The Finns were ultimately beaten down when the owners brought in miners from Yugoslavia and Italy to break the strike. “Scabs by the shipload,” Will told me. His grandfather was one of the leaders of the strike and one of his closest associates was the father of Arvo Hallberg, another Swede-Finn. The son, who became latterly known as Gus Hall, was the head of the CPUSA after the Earl Browder years. Will’s grandfather was obliged to leave the Range and grub out a homestead in an isolated area well to the north of the mining towns. Will became something quite other than a leftist.

  81. @TKK

TKK: Currently, there are something more than 5,000 felony-level federal statutes. Add to that the criminalization of individuals who violate sections of the many-thousand page Federal Registers and you have a recipe for massive profits for jail/prison administrators and well-connected contractors who cash in billions yearly from the 200,000 federal Bureau of Prisons alone. The temptations for bribery would be almost incalculable.

So the racketeers in the law n’ order game are given numerous incentives to bring down the hammer on individuals who have (frequently unknowingly) broken the above-mentioned statutes and regulations.

Cue the court system where members of the court are apparently able to access the interest drawn on the Cusip Bonds which are posted (since the FDR regime) on all Americans and you have another level of temptations. There are federal district judges who brag that they have “given” out sentences totaling up to a million years–that, obviously over a period of many years in their forbidding black robes squatting behind the bench of judgement. Our courts are no longer courts of justice, rather courts of law.

Finally we come to that Bureau of Prisons system where, as you mention, people wile their lives away as warehoused human beings with no purpose, hope or comfort in their lives. Do not forget, because of this spewing out of new felony statutes at a rate of some 50 new ones annually, many of the men and women in the federal system are not actually guilty of true criminal behavior, as would be defined in a just society.

So “Holy Rabbits, there TKKman”, the incarceration racket is one of America’s dirtiest little secrets, well secreted under the rug of public scrutiny. But there is hope. There are numerous highly educated and erudite individuals now incarcerated in the federal (and presumably at a lesser proportion) state joints. Most of them have friends and families on the outside who have become informed on the evils of the system. Also, a not insignificant number are highly literate and sometimes quite erudite as well as informed. Ultimately, a public reckoning is not far on the horizon.

Civic mindedness is a functional output of a homogenous society.

Putnam’s social science put this to the test:

    https://www.saddleback.edu/faculty/agordon/documents/Bowling_Alone.pdf

The follow-up (2007) US study to Bowling Alone has also stimulated debate. The first findings from the study found that, in the short run, immigration and ethnic diversity tended to reduce social solidarity and social capital. In ethnically diverse neighborhoods residents of all races tend to ‘hunker down’.

Diversity does not produce ‘bad race relations’ or ethnically-defined group hostility, rather, inhabitants of diverse communities tend to withdraw from collective life, to distrust their neighbors, to volunteer less, give less to charity and work on community projects less often, to register to vote less, to agitate for social reform more, but have less faith that they can actually make a difference, and to watch more television

    Data destroys shibboleths.

National Socialism or even Civic Socialism implies NO IMMIGRATION. An immigration cut-off to then consolidate the races into e-pluribus unum.

National Socialism also implies that the money power becomes sovereign. (NSDAP Germany had sovereign money.) This means that finance capital no longer calls the shots, and hence finance plutocracy no longer is able to lure in low wage third world labor.

This history leaves Harris looking like a typical successful opportunist junior political gangster on the rise, ready to serve her senior gangster bosses with exemplary deftly vicious obedience. Her record as Attorney General supports this view, as does her adoption and promotion by the gangster bosses of the Donkey Party of the National Puppet Show.

However, Maupin’s discussion of the fake “left” as here summarized is engaging and compelling and certainly makes excellent sense of many trends and events.

What is missing in this is the key alternative and only hope for positive change in America: America’s original democratic-republican tradition of constitutional citizen sovereignty, its history of suppression and subversion by metropolitan finance and big business, and constructive discussion of how to revive it in the interests of the 99%… It’s time we tried learning from Robert La Follett and Thorstein Veblen as well as Tom Paine and John Adams. The fact that all four have been erased from civic consciousness is itself suggestive.

At that time he was in his last months at UCSD, and already was slated to head up Columbia in the next year. He didn’t need to risk his personal advancement, but he did.

His argument was based on the strongest trope of the time: civil rights. It was the argument of a confident liberal of the day, one who demurred from an overriding attitude of Governor Reagan. Standing amidst the shouting students he explained that there were people for whom halting university activities would be a violation of their civil rights.

At that time, the phrase was strong enough to silence the throng completely. Sensing advantage, he followed up assertively, and gambled boldly, “Is there anyone here who would [violate] civil rights?” There was no answer, just silence. The action had stilled. I had to decide quickly, in the context of Vietnam. I said, strongly to be heard, “I would.” The Chancellor tried to…Thank you Sir, however…but that broke the spell, and the clamor rose again. Fortunately there was no rough stuff.

The campus action continued for a time, and an ingenious public relations program was initiated by faculty, with students and faculty volunteers going into the homes of the Admirals and others in the community for discussions. I admired McGill for his exercise in quaint liberalism and his physical bravery. He did go on to Columbia.

Thanks for stimulating the memory, faded like the colors in that film.

As always, things are not as you were taught. The Bolshevik Revolution would never have happened without major foreign backing. Those poor little Russian peasants were just the pawns in the rich (((mans))) wars. A couple of examples:

How Germany got the Russian Revolution off the ground
The Russian Revolution has gone down in history as the victory of the workers and peasants over the czarist rulers. Few people realize the German kaiser was also involved: He gave aid to the Bolsheviks in 1917.

    And our American traitors.

    – “…One of the greatest myths of contemporary history is that the Bolshevik Revolution in Russia was a popular uprising of the downtrodden masses against the hated ruling class of the Tsars. However, the planning, the leadership and especially the financing came entirely from outside Russia, mostly from financiers in Germany, Britain and the United States. Furthermore, the Rothschild Formula played a major role in shaping these events”

Sean: Seeing that you have an evident T.C. connexion, back in the days when I was a traveling antiques dealer, I’d accumulated a set of 1930’s ‘Newsweek’ magazines along the way and after thorough perusal, packaged and priced them. One had rather good coverage of the trucker strike in Minneapolis in ’34. At that time unionists were still attempting to gain traction and truckers were being given a raw deal by the owners,, so they called the strike. There was a police riot which resulted in woundings of truckers and as I recall, at least one death. This led to an almost incomprehensible reaction by Governor Floyd B. Olson of the original Farmer-Labor Party (before Hube the Cube sucked the guts out of it in ’44 and melded it with the Demorats hanging out over the sewers of St. Paul, on the next hilltop over from the Basilica). Governor Olson called out the Minnesota National Guard, declared a police riot and the guardsmen protected the strikers from the POLICE!

In any event, a man came up to my booth at Apache Plaza, where that mag was one of many paper items on display and promptly purchased it. At the time my booth was pretty busy, so I did not have time to chat with him over his particular interest in that national account of Minnesota history.

Late ’69 found me in San Francisco for a few months and then down in LA in early ’70 as a journalist/activist. The ferment and cast of characters in the Bay Area at that time was eye-opening. Returning to the T.C.’s late in the Summer of ’70 I discovered that the West Bank hippie scene, whether at the New Riverside Cafe or at Coffeehouse Extempore, was rapidly transmogrifying into new areas, the music scene with guys like Spider John Koerner and into a fast-developing number of food-co-ops. To this day, though the food co-op movement seems to have originated in places like Berkeley and Boulder, Minneapolis and its twin along with the burbs, looks to have the most vibrant such movement in the nation.

Long have I wondered how Minneapolis enjoys this generative power. My somewhat mystical conclusion is based on a form of geomancy. The city happens to be the head of navigation of the largest river in North America. Just blocks from the warehouse district and all too close to the goddamned mega-garbageburner, is a critical nodal point. That is where the 45th degree of North latitude intersects The Father of Waters.

As the 45th degree is exactly the mid-point between the equator and the North Pole, in terms of geomancy it is an extremely powerful location, similar in a relationship to the waters to San Francisco, as the Bay Area has a tremendous vortex power that tends to be somewhat bi-polar. The vibe there can energize a person in amazing ways and on the other hand it also has the power to drag you down. Deep. Both cities have highly developed powers of geomagnetism which appear to operate at levels which Newtonian-Cartesian scientism has yet to conceptualize, much less recognize.

It wasn’t so much Kaiser Wilhelm II who enabled the Bolshies. It was the head of his intelligence agency, Max Warburg. Warburg was also at the core of Germany’s privately owned central banking apparatus. He was a close cousin to the Rothschild Crime Family. Warburg made all the arrangements, primarily the sealed railroad car, which carried V.I. Ulianov (Lenin) from Switzerland through Germany and into the then Russian province of Finland. From there, the car arrived at Finland Station in St. Petersburg (or Petrograd. as it was known during WWI.)

Meanwhile, across the pond, Jacob Schiff, the Rothschild’s prime minion in the U$, along. with Max Warburg’s brother Paul, provided Lev Bronstein (aka Leon Trotsky) and some 200 Bolshies from the Kosher-Nostra hotbed in the Lower East Side in Manhattan with $15 million in gold (worth something like $350M in today’s Rothschild controlled “Fed’s” fiat notes) and sent them on their merry way to finance and bolster the Bolshevik counter-revolution of November 1917…and the genocidal horrors which ensued.

Sean: Thanks for the wikipedia link. My first response to your note was before reading the full account. Seems like they did an excellent job of research. From personal recollection, V.R. Dunne was still actively writing leditors to the Mpls daily as “recently” as the early 60’s. A friend/associate of mine, a Trotskyite at the time, interviewed the old boy at some point in that decade.

It all seems so outer’ in this day and age as the very meaning of economic classes has undergone immense changes and most wage-earners today (as well as many salaried employees) consider themselves as middle-class. But in terms of classical economic theory, the definition of working-class is simply someone who, rather than owning his own means of production, simply exists as yet another “Johnny Paycheck.”

Gotta love all these modern Marxists that never bothered to read what he wrote. I guess they all just had a couple profs that depicted him as some working man’s hero.

Marx wanted to erase not just Western society but Western history. What does that say about someone that finds history to be threatening?

If you can cut the people off from their history, then they can be easily persuaded. – Karl Marx

He clearly didn’t think his ideas could stand on their own. Install a dictatorship, eliminate the press and destroy European identity and history. Then the people will fully submit to our plans!

Also, before leaving for St. Petersburg, Trotsky (Bronstein), Bukharin and several other soon-to-be-Bolsheviks precipitated the division, subsequent internal doctrinaire warfare and collapse of the then surging American Socialist movement with a strong dose of divisive dogmatic “idealism” at a meeting in Brooklyn. The worst criminals in America, those who do the most damage to the most people, and the most lasting harm to the entire world, not only people but the entire biosphere, Gaia Mater, are the very very wealthy — the 1% and the 0.1% and the 0.01% and their betters.

These are the people — like Mnuchin — whom Harris as Attorney General gave a free pass — re-victimizing their victims by removing possible protections and redresses. And that’s a major part of what recommended her for her present role.

People intent on “locking up” petty criminals and ignoring or abetting major systemic predators … are fools or dupes or petty gangsters themselves. Steal a pair of lawn sheers or a carton of cigarettes, get a life sentence — and these types howl and drool and applaud; steal ten million families homes and throw them out on the street, and these types bow and kiss their asses.

I’m sure it is written somewhere, that free-market intellectuals, disciples of F.A. Hayek ‘A free economy, cannot be a Christian economy'(according to Michael Novak), met at the Mont Perelin Society and the Leftist/Marxist Frankfort School members, once seeing the power of the United States in the post WWII era, were horrified, identified the White Race as an enemy Authoritarian power and created the long march of subversion here in America to tear it all down and erect the Wall St. Central Market Command destruction that is the non-statist, neoliberal governance we suffer today.

Immediately, we are facing the possibility of a Harris presidency; why hasn’t anyone investigated or revealed Senator Harris’ ineligibility for the office of the Vice President since she is not a ‘natural born Citizen’ per Article II, Sec. 1 of the US Constitution. Several candidates, Cruz, Rubio, perhaps McCain, and Obama in our recent elections were not nbC as the Constitution requires. Another indication of the deconstruction of the United States caused by the Internationalist Fed/Wall St. system. A system that only benefits the Bankers.

Can’t say I agree with a lot of the fluff you people keep repeating about the election and this, that and the other things you are on about. But the ‘lost’ Hunter Biden leakage actually does look legit.
It does seem to indicate that the father Joe Biden: Vice President of the United State; was introduced to a gas company official from the Ukraine gas company Bursima with the direct intention of stopping a legal investigation into that company by the Ukrainian government on matters of corruption.
The other side of the story is that certain members of the Ukraine government were putting pressure on a private company for ‘kickbacks’ aka bribes to allow the company to keep operating and making a profit. Be that as it may the evidence looks pretty conclusive that the VP of America did indeed lend his influence in exchange for his son keeping his job there in Bursima for somewhere around 60 grand a month. If that were the case then it does indeed amount to influence peddling for profit.

However, this makes her statements absolutely two-faced. She underestimates her black support. Once they smell a cop, they’re dead set against you, but white Boomer leftists want her in office. She will never have black support.

30% of all black males have committed a crime, and a very high percentage of the remainder have criminal relatives. They see Harris as an enemy to the very survival of their ‘clan,’ in a very primitive, lizard-brained way. Obama was a slick-talking community activist who ignored the crime issue and only talked about how downtrodden blacks were. This made him acceptable to criminal blacks. But blacks detest Harris because she’s the one one turned the key on their prison cell. In twenty years of locking blacks up, she’s acquired quite a long list of resentful former ‘clients’ and their relatives who are mad at her.

Harris sunk like a stone with black women for supporting a law that locks up black mothers if their kids are truant. Black kids are truant a lot, and their lazy welfare mothers are ticked off at being forced to be responsible for their brat’s behavior.

Harris has almost zero support from blacks, and blacks know old Joe could pop off easily. Blacks aren’t going to vote in large numbers this election.
