  1. Ron Unz says:

To start off this new Open Thread, here are a few paragraphs about a financial scandal from this morning’s WSJ:

Trevor Milton, the Nikola Corp. NKLA -2.95%▼ founder who enticed auto-industry leaders and investors with his promise for a revolution in electric trucks, faces a securities-fraud trial beginning this week on allegations that he lied about his company’s development of environmentally friendly technology…Mr. Milton, who is 40 years old, has pleaded not guilty…

Mr. Milton was an unconventional executive. He said he didn’t finish high school or college but was a serial entrepreneur who started several companies before Nikola. Those ventures often ended up with disputes, litigation and disappointed investors, according to former employees, customers, investors and documents.

Nikola, which Mr. Milton founded in 2015 after selling a majority stake in another of his companies for $12 million in cash, focused on hydrogen trucks and the fueling stations to support them.

Mr. Milton took Nikola public in the summer of 2020 at a valuation of $3.3 billion when the company had yet to sell a single truck. In the company’s early days of trading, its market valuation shot to $30 billion, briefly overtaking some auto-industry stalwarts like Ford Motor Co. As of Friday’s close, Nikola’s market valuation was $2.4 billion…

The trial could largely hinge on what Mr. Milton said in television interviews and podcasts and on social media.

On a podcast in 2020, Mr. Milton said that until Nikola came on the market, hydrogen was about $16 a kilogram. “Now Nikola is producing it well below $4 a kilogram,” he said.

Prosecutors said that Nikola had never produced hydrogen, at any price.

Mr. Milton also said in interviews that the Badger was a “fully functioning vehicle inside and outside.” When he was asked on Twitter when the first prototype would be produced, he wrote, “Already.” Prosecutors said Nikola had only renderings of vehicles and concept sketches…

The rapid climb in Nikola’s shares made Mr. Milton a multibillionaire, based on his holdings. Before stepping down from Nikola, he purchased a $32.5 million ranch, the most expensive home in Utah at the time, and a Gulfstream jet.

An economic system conducive to the activities of pathological liars may be highly problematical. And this raises the legitimate question of whether the current stock market is still over-valued…

  2. Dr. Rock says:

There will be a MAJOR FALSE FLAG event, before the November midterm election!

Maybe they blame Russia, maybe they blame “MAGA Republicans”, or maybe MAGA Republicans working for Russia.

    How will you know?

Just like 9/11, they will be laying blame before the smoke clears. They (the entire MSM apparatus) will somehow just “know” who was behind it, almost instantly. That’s because they have to fill the informational void, before people have too long to wonder, or speculate. They can’t even allow the US population to consider “other” culprits. It’s imperative that they shape the narrative from the very instant it occurs.

Probably right before the election, within days, not weeks. That way, mail in ballots can already be in, but same day voting will be mitigated. They know which party votes predominantly which way, so it’s easy to shape the vote, if they let their party send in plenty of ballots, before the day for in person voting happens, the outcome can be assured, and also, pass some scrutiny.
Ask your self this- If the power grid, and by extension, the internet were to do down, RIGHT NOW, would you know exactly when and where to vote?

If they are willing to “go big” enough, there won’t be an election, but that’s a big step, just to avoid getting wiped out in the midterms, but it is possible.

Example- “Russian hackers are attacking the power grid; hydroelectric dams, nuclear power plants, the grid infrastructure itself, pipelines (sound familiar?). Attacking the internet, spreading disinformation, misinformation, mal-information, etc. Also, attacking the internet infrastructure itself.”

After the “event”, the internet will be turned into an emergency broadcast system propaganda site. They will claim that ANY/ALL counter-narrative info that seeped out, was Russian disinformation, and should be ignored.

It’s also possible that there is a major assassination event, (think of the Anwar Sadat assassination) to be blamed on some “internal threat”, maybe a “vast network, spread across the entire country”. Operation Northwoods, meets the Red Scare.

Whatever it is, it will be BIG, probably bigger, in scope and scale, than 9/11 (because it really only had a couple of minor regional effects, NYC, DC, etc.). It MUST, if it is to have the desired effect.
A shutdown, a lockdown, a purge, suspended or corrupted election, etc.
Bio-weapon release in multiple major cities? Not big enough. It’s has to be the power grid, and the internet! Perhaps an all out Act of War, like Pearl Harbor, but under the guise of an ongoing threat, involving hundreds, or more likely, thousands of conspirators, all around the country.

What’s the product? F-E-A-R! You must be terrified, isolated, uninformed (by only getting the info they want you to have). With no power grid, and no internet- You can’t travel, your credit cards won’t work, and neither will the gas pumps. Where would you get you information? AM radio? The EBS (emergency broadcast system) will blare out their “message” on an endless, 24 hour loop, updating periodically, to feed you the narrative. It’s an automatic lockdown, because you’ll have a finite amount of fuel, and won’t waste it unnecessarily.

Maybe it’s followed with “roaming, scheduled, power restorations”, as they “struggle to fix the entire grid”, so that you will have brief windows to get cash, get gas, buy food, or more likely, go to a government supply distribution center for the staples. perhaps after that, even when partially restored, the entire oil/gas/diesel supply chain is “still broken”, so you’ll have government informational internet, maybe Netflix, etc., but not the “old internet”, it’s gone! (the Chinese model for the internet, but enacted during a crisis) Censorship, information control, movement control, etc.

There is no way to know exactly “what, when, or how”, but it IS COMING!

    Get READY!

Kurds From Afrin Hand Protest letter to Palestinian consul

A delegation of Kurds from Afrin visited the Palestinian Consul in Erbil, Nazmi Hazouri, and handed over a letter of protest of a Palestinian foundation building housing units for displaced Syrians in Afrin.

Kurds used to make up 96 percent of Afrin’s population, but now represent only 25 percent after 2018, over two dozen organizations said in a letter last year.

the delegation complained over the fact that the demography of Afrin have been changed since 2018, and the orignal people of Afrin have been replaced by Arabs and Turkmens, with the aim of Arabizing the region.

Moreover, they called on the Palestian leadership and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas to stop these violations, which ‘serve the agenda’ of some groups in the name of Palestine against the interest of Kurds.

The residential complex was built after the cutting of trees in the area, and is planned to be extended to 250 houses, including schools, mosques and shops.

    Inquiring minds want to know.

Western officials ‘surprised’ by Ukraine’s rapid gains in northern counteroffensive
Kyiv notified top U.S. generals in advance of the plan to launch the two-front attack simultaneously.
    09/12/2022 06:24 PM EDT

Not even the Pentagon expected Ukraine’s blitzkrieg to move so quickly.

Top Western defense officials were informed in advance that Ukraine was planning a two-front counteroffensive to retake territory captured by Russia, but they have been surprised by the blistering pace of Kyiv’s gains in the north, according to four officials with knowledge of the discussions.

Ukrainian forces rolled through lightly manned Russian posts around Kharkiv over the weekend, retaking more than 1,000 square miles around the city and pushing east — in some cases all the way up to the Russian border. Russian forces retreated from two key logistical hubs, the towns of Izyum and Kupiansk, as their ranks were depleted by the simultaneous fight in Kherson in the south.

Kyiv informed top U.S. generals in advance of the plan to launch simultaneous attacks on two fronts, according to a Ukrainian official, but both governments were shocked by the success of the northern counteroffensive.

“Everyone was surprised how the Russians ran,”
said the Ukrainian government official on condition of anonymity to discuss a sensitive operation.

There’s a sucker born every minute. EV’s are a stopgap solution until hydrogen fuel cell cars build momentum, which just needs service stations to deliver the H2 fuel at a reasonable cost.

With EV’s, the batteries will wear out (depending on how much you charge them) in 8-10 years and the cost to replace that battery will be more than the value of the car at that point. So EV’s are basically disposable cars that you throw away after 10 years.

    Why did this thread die?

Sadly. It became heavily misused. Some time ago it became “Giraldi Lite”. Non-stop hate against Judeo-Christian values, which is already available 24×7 elsewhere on the UR site.

An Open Thread should be for stories that are not being properly covered on other site threads. For example: (1)

Instead of migrants waiting in Denmark for their asylum request to be processed, the country’s left-wing government will now begin deporting them to Rwanda after the African country agreed to accept them in a bilateral agreement.

The plan, which has long been a goal of Denmark’s right-wing parties, took more than a year of negotiations, but the policy goal is now closer than ever to being realized. The deal does not apply to only Rwandan migrants — instead all asylum seekers would be forced to wait in Africa until their asylum procedure is finished. The fact that the plan is being implemented by a left-leaning government points to the strange circumstances in Denmark in which the left has embraced many of the anti-immigration polices of the right.

I am not sure that this coming from the “left” is good or bad.

Christian Populism from the “right” is needed in other areas and this could slow that necessary change. Also, European “left” politicians tend to be slavishly loyal to the failing EU. Look at 5 Star in Italy and Syriza in Greece. If this is the discovery of “left” migration backbone it could be a continental breakthrough.

    • Will Denmark cave to the EHCR like Boris did?
    • Will Truss use this opportunity to restart the UK’s Stay in Africa plan?

Merkel has finally left the scene after 16 years undermining Judeo-Christians and placing children at risk. Now, her Open [Muslim] Borders and “Welcome Rape-ugees” policies need to be undone. Unassimilable migrants unwisely let into the EU need to be returned home.

Italy’s elections will be the next major test for securing Europe’s borders.

    PEACE 😇

The situation in Iraq is sliding (1)

Iraq Is Nearing the Brink of a Shiite Civil War

The increasingly violent rivalry between Moqtada al-Sadr and Iran will decide Iraq’s future.

In a period of 24 hours, Iraq’s Moqtada al-Sadr was able to demonstrate the extent of his power as the streets of Baghdad submitted to, and then subsided from, widespread violence, both at his behest. On Aug. 29, Sadr’s followers made the capital into a war zone, until he called for an end to armed conflict the next morning. Within an hour, the chaos in the city had stopped, claiming with it least 21 lives and injuring 250 others.

The events leading up to the turmoil revealed the geopolitical battle at play between Iran and Iraq’s efforts to form a government in Baghdad. Unlike the grassroots protests of 2019, born out of frustration from political corruption, this violence was triggered directly by Iranian influence in the country.

Given the lack of a viable path toward the formation of a viable government in Iraq, Sadr has since been calling for early elections. But with Iraq’s ongoing political turbulence, another election is unlikely to fix its deeply structural damage. Last October, voter apathy and boycott led to only around a 40 percent voter turnout in numbers that have been waning election after election.

The 24 hours of chaos that Baghdad was drawn into by Sadrists was a taste of what could happen if they remain without responsible leadership. It was also an indication of how quickly the country can dissolve into all-out internal warfare given the heavily armed population.

Perhaps the partition concept should be revisited.

There is no reason for Sunni Arabs and Kurds to be dragged into this mess. And, a sufficiently strong Kurdistan would do much to stabilize the region.

    PEACE 😇

No doubt WTC conspiracy theorists are going to attempt to make some sort of point based on this fire:

A massive fire sent flames and black smoke pouring Friday from a 42-storey skyscraper in central China belonging to the country’s largest telecoms operator, but no casualties were reported, officials said.

Dozens of floors burned in the China Telecom building in the city of Changsha, the capital of central Hunan province. The city’s fire department said it sent 280 firefighters who were able to quickly extinguish the blaze on the 218-metre (720-foot) building.

A few key notes before the frenzy begins.

    • WTC 1 ~ 420 meters and 110 floors — 3.8 meters/floor
    • Hunan Telecom ~ 218 meters 42 floors — 5.2 meters/floor

This strongly implies a different, and much sturdier construction technique was used. I do not have a number, however the building appears much skinnier. I suspect the area (m²/floor) is also smaller. This would be another factor contributing to building strenth.

The very black smoke from the China Telecom fire strongly suggests poor combustion of solid materials. Such fires are generally lower temperature. And, there is no reason to suspect liquid flow to structural weak points.

Given the radically different building structure and type of fire, any relevance to WTC is highly dubious. Nevertheless, we expect science deniers to soon be making bogus non-points and invalid comparisons with inadequate information. — Let Loose, The Rush To Judgement! —

Real science will eventually be available, however it be a while before we have complete details about the Changsha fire.

Embalmers Have Been Finding Numerous Long, Fibrous Clots That Lack Post-Mortem Characteristics
    September 2, 2022

Several embalmers across the country have been observing many large, and sometimes very long, “fibrous” and rubbery clots inside the corpses they treat, and are speaking out about their findings.

Numerous embalmers from different states confirmed to The Epoch Times that they have been seeing these strange clots, starting from either 2020 or 2021.

It’s not yet known if the cause of the new clot phenomenon is COVID-19, vaccines, both, or something different.

The Epoch Times received additional videos and photos of the anomalous clots, but could not upload them due to the level of gore.

Mike Adams, who runs an ISO-17025 accredited lab in Texas, analyzed clots in August and found them to be lacking iron, potassium, magnesium, and zinc.

Adams’s lab uses inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS), triple quadrupole mass spectrometer, and liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry, usually testing food for metals, pesticides, and glyphosate.

“We have tested one of the clots from embalmer Richard Hirschman, via ICP-MS. Also tested side by side, live human blood from an unvaccinated person,” Adams told The Epoch Times.

He found that the clots are lacking key elements present in healthy human blood, such as iron, potassium, and magnesium, suggesting that they are formed from something other than blood.

How many people can Earth handle?
    By Zaria Gorvett
    5th September 2022

Towards the end of 2022, the human population on Earth is expected to reach eight billion. To mark the occasion, BBC Future takes a look at one of the most controversial issues of our time. Are there too many of us? Or is this the wrong question?

One moment, the valley was a tranquil, swampy wetland. Grasses and palm trees cast fuzzy shadows on the water below. Fish lurked warily at the edges of mangroves. Orangutans sought out fruit with leathery fingers. Then a dormant giant awoke from its sleep.

It was around 72,000 BC on the island of Sumatra, Indonesia. The Toba supervolcano was erupting, in what is thought to have been the greatest such event in the last 100,000 years. A series of thunderous explosions blasted out 9.5 quadrillion kilograms of ash, which billowed out in sky-darkening clouds that crept around 47km (29 miles) into the atmosphere.

In the aftermath, a vast area across Asia was blanketed in a layer of soft dust 3-10cm thick. It choked water sources and stuck to vegetation like cement – deposits from Toba have been found as far away as East Africa, 7,300km (4,536 miles) west of the eruption. But crucially, some scientists believe it plunged the world into a volcanic winter that lasted decades – and nearly made our species extinct.

How bad off is China? Despite Beijing Biden’s best efforts on behalf of the CCP, the WUHAN-19 attack on America is pulling things out of DNC Globalist control: (1)

    China’s Chip Industry Is Doomed

This is a story that’s been bubbling on for a while, but it looks like the U.S. government is about to slam down export restrictions on chipmaking equipment.

The US Department of Commerce intends to publish new regulations based on restrictions communicated in letters earlier this year to three US companies — KLA Corp, Lam Research Corp and Applied Materials Inc, the people said, speaking on the condition of anonymity.

Every wafer fabrication plant in the world uses equipment from one of those three companies. Applied Materials and LAM Research (along with Tokyo Electron) have their fingers in almost all areas of chipmaking equipment (PVD, CVD, Etch, etc.), while KLA (formerly KLA-Tencor) dominates the wafer inspection equipment segment. Add ASML in the Netherlands, and those five absolutely dominate the semiconductor equipment market.

The letters, which the companies publicly acknowledged, forbade them from exporting chipmaking equipment to Chinese factories that produce advanced semiconductors with sub-14 nanometer processes unless the sellers obtain commerce department licenses.

This is where things get tricky. SMIC claims they can do 7nm, but everyone outside China doubts they can do it reliably, repeatably and profitably. SMIC announced they’re about to start manufacturing 14nm, and that they can probably do. Practically, they’re the only semiconductor manufacturer in China that can do sub-14nm, as just about everyone at the top of the next biggest semiconductor manufacturer, Tsinghua Unigroup, just got arrested in July.

Without a continued stream of machines, spare parts and technical know-how from those five semiconductor giants, China’s semiconductor industry is doomed. China’s domestic semiconductor equipment industry is essentially garbage, and they’re so far behind in so many areas that they can’t even steal their way to parity. The knowledge gulf is just too vast.

The author is quite kind. Successful work at 14nm is almost certainly beyond the CCP’s capability. They have been struggling in the 28-32 nm range for many years.

Both Intel and ASML made sure that their IP was protected. Rumor has it that they intentionally setup CCP espionage operations to “steal” information that was actually failed experiment details. This set back CCP for a decade or more.

Peter Zeihan notes (correctly) that China’s semiconductor industry has been singularly unable to fab advanced chips on their own.

    PEACE 😇

So, at the risk of being told that you gave dealt with my point I want to draw your attention specifically to the two Chapters of Mein Kampf – Books 1 and 2 – that I have recently posted about somewhere on UR. It would be an immense service to understanding for you to explain comprehensively what you think we should make of what, I suggest, makes perfectly clear that the mature Hitler had a settled view of the need for Germany to take Lebensraum in Ukraine and of the need to get rid of Jews to the point t where it is almost certain that he would have made no objection, certainly not amoral one, to any proposals to kill them.

    This gives the references

My last post referring to Mein Kampf was in error in its reference to the first passage I read. It should have been Chapter XlV of Book 2 on Eastern Questions.

Am I right to assume that what appears as Book 2 is the later book by Hitler published quite some time after the original Mein Kampf?

Now I have discovered in Book 1 in Chapter XI -Nation and Race – a very long diatribe about Jews which is probably read on a Witches’ Sabbath each year by the most fervent anti-semites on UR. By Hitler’s a count the huge rate of intermarriage contaminating Aryan bloodlines that had come about by 1933 would have only been a feature of the Jewish plot to poison the German bloodlines and obtain domination.

You really don’t like being shown to have erred do you? Your defensive and intemperate response unfortunately confirms that I needn’t have been at all tentative and tactful in my effort to provide you with relevant information. I was rather expecting you to say “I am fully aware of Hitler’s adult lifelong enthusiasm for Lebensraum in Ukraine for the multiplying Aryan tillers ofthe soil in Germany who, he lamented, had been forced to look to America’svast spaces, and I dealt with the implications of that comprehensively at local.cit.”. But no. You prefer to preserve the ignorance which has Hitler only attacking the Soviet Union when he did because he feared a 1942 attack by Stalin which is utter BS.
And you can’t challenge Hitler’s own portrayal of himself as one who would see no moral objection to the killing of Untermenschen and therefore not interested in stopping Himmler’s enthusiastic killing of Jews, Gypsies and many Slavs.

Why don’t you do something worthy of your intellect for which you are actually quified? I suggest you look at the many models the IPCC has relied on or referred to over the years and assess the validity of the way it has been done.
Getting that right would be far more important and worthwhile than any of your recent ideas.

By Hitler’s a count the huge rate of intermarriage contaminating Aryan bloodlines that had come about by 1933 would have only been a feature of the Jewish plot to poison the German bloodlines and obtain domination.

I don’t have the intellectual means to analyze this numerically, but it seems to me that this typical accusation against Jews doesn’t make sense. How can an ethnic minority both mix with the ethnic majority and achieve domination? That minority would become admixed in a much greater proportion than the majority. This can only *possibly* make sense if Jews are viewed as a predominantly cultural entity, with no strict biological imperative behind it.

The ignorance exhibited in your last sentence referring to Putin cries out for more assistance. One important aspect of understanding Putin and the place of his ideas and personality in creating and maintaining Russia’s misfortunes underhis rule is to contrast the real history of Russia/Rus with the deluded amateur nationalist nonsense he has included in several speeches or papers.

I seem to remember you having some suspicion of Timothy Snyder because he didn’t mention Jews or mention them enough in some context. But no major historian in America could be better qualified to give the current series of lectures at Yale “The Making of Modern Ukraine” , one of only two comparable courses in America. And in case you want the Jewsto be feature I think you’ll find Class 8 is devoted to them. It is Class 8 “The Rise of Muscovite Power” that I want to draw your attention to as perhaps the best way of helping you escape the thrall of the kindergarten version of the history of the Slavs and of Rus which you seem inclined to share with your fellow amateur in the Kremlin.

  45. Operation Northwoods: The Counterfeit by Carol A. Valentine, Oct 2001

-Operation Northwoods was unknown to the American public until May, 2001, when details were released in James Bamford’s new book, “Body of Secrets

-But there is just one problem with Northwoods.  Operation Northwoods was not written by Americans.  Put in other words, Operation Northwoods documents were not written by the Pentagon.  They are counterfeits. Whoever wrote and edited Operation Northwoods used British English.

-It’s hard to believe the author of a book on intelligence matters went past this obviously questionable documentation.  His alarm bells should have gone off.  Who is James Bamford?

    – Bamford’s job: Telling the public exactly what the NSA bosses think the American public should know so the American public trusts the NSA.
Remember what the dustjacket says. “Body of Secrets” is supposed to be an expose of the NSA, right?  So instead of exposing an NSA outrage, the NSA errand boy exposes the Pentagon’s.

-“The author says a friend on the board [?] tipped him off to the documents.

“Afraid of a congressional investigation, Lemnitzer had ordered all Joint Chiefs documents related to the Bay of Pigs destroyed, says Bamford.  But somehow, these remained.”

So it seems that the documents missed the shredder, were stored by mistake, and surfaced after Congress made more JFK assassination documents available, whereupon Bamford’s friend tipped him off (above).

-But the Northwoods documents suggest that if 911 was an inside job — and it had to be — then the Pentagon was the ARCHITECT.  The Northwoods expose was ready and waiting for the inevitable 9-11 skeptics to show up, seize upon the plan, and point the finger of suspicion at the Pentagon.  However, the Northwoods British-isms show that another hand, not an American hand, was guiding those planes into the WTC towers, and that the Operation Northwoods documents are a misdirector.

Northwoods was doubtlessly hatched by a foreign intelligence service and inserted into US national records.

The double standard deployed by Muslims are appalling. (1) Extends Its Warning to Palestinian Properties

The BDS movement thought it had a sure victory.

Online travel agency added warnings on Friday to listings in West Bank locations. The new alert, a small text advisory at the top of search results, urges customers searching for rentals to review their government’s travel advisories before booking in the area, “which may be considered conflict-affected.”It applies to both Israeli settlements and Palestinian locales.…

This is the victory, incomplete but most welcome nonetheless, over the BDS and its forces of darkness. After enormous protests from Israeli and Jewish groups, decided that if it was going to warn potential renters about possible “conflict” in Jewish towns and villages in the West Bank, it should do the same for Palestinian-ruled parts of the West Bank. This has enraged BDS supporters, who argue, preposterously, that Palestinian-areas are not “conflict-affected,” when all one has to do is look at the terror groups Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and the PFLP, and what they have unleashed throughout the West Bank, including not just their attacks on Jewish civilians, but also their intra-Palestinian violence, with Hamas and PIJ attacks on members of Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah in Jenin and Nablus.

How likely is it that travelers will want to rent a property in Palestinian villages or cities where armed men patrol their turf, or exchange fire with each other as Hamas, PIJ, and Fatah all jostle violently for power, or where Palestinian gunmen fire on Israeli civilians driving by, or fire at IDF soldiers (who return the fire) who have been making lightning raids to arrest those implicated in terror attacks both on West Bank settlements and on Israel proper? Jewish settlements are most peaceful by comparison with any Palestinian area, and no doubt this was brought to the attention of by the Israeli government. The company was not going to admit it had made a mistake in posting a warning about Jewish settlements being in “conflict-affected” areas, but instead, it decided to extend the same warning to the Palestinian areas of the West Bank.

It is obvious to everyone that the BDS standard was nonsensical — “Safe areas need a warning, yet dangerous areas do not.”

A better headline would have been:

  48. The Myth Of A ‘Judeo-Christian’ Tradition May 27, 2022, CFT

We can see mainstream Christianity become more and more Jewish with each passing day — and that transformation is progressing because Christians have been duped into believing that Christianity is fundamentally based on “Judaism” and “Jewish values” — while Jews concede no such thing, and rightfully see Christianity as completely antithetical to Judaism. This inter-faith dynamic is a one-way street — where Christians compromise and concede any aspect of their faith that Jews perceive as anti-Jewish — which ultimately means all of it.

The following essay, “The Myth Of A ‘Judeo-Christian’ Tradition,” was first published in New Dawn Magazine in 1994, but it is more relevant today than it was almost 30 years ago, as we can clearly see so much of it coming to fruition. If nothing else, the direct quotes from Jewish sources provide invaluable, prima facie evidence that Christians are indeed being profoundly deceived — and how Jewry benefits from this deception.

Why is there so little coverage of the uprising against Raisi and sociopath Khamenei’s brutal rule? (1)

Iran’s Hijab Protests Are of Raisi’s Own Making

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi emboldened the morality police to bolster his wobbly administration. The opposite has happened.

Under Raisi, the Initiative for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice—a religious entity tasked with promoting what the authorities believe is the ideal Islamic lifestyle and which was predominantly a fringe, marginalized institution during the Rouhani administration—was given a new lease on life and a budget of 1,180 billion rials (about $3.9 million, as of September) for the 2022-23 fiscal year. The initiative, made up of the most reactionary elements of the government, started churning out regulations one after the other on how women in government workspaces and other public places should dress. But it was not only their appearance that was of concern: Female employees were warned against having nonessential conversations with male coworkers about subjects not related to work and, however surreal it may sound, were discouraged from addressing male colleagues using singular pronouns because in Persian, using singular pronouns imparts intimacy.

After more than a year of intensified propaganda and reinforced prohibitive measures, punctuated by the viral scenes of violent encounters between the morality police guards and women being shoved, pushed, dragged, insulted, and confronted aggressively, culminating in the heartrending death of Amini, a national reckoning has emerged, resulting in the exact opposite of what Raisi wanted to achieve. Instead of increased hijab compliance in a society that is more submissive and less restive, Iranian women are defiantly removing their headscarves in public and rejecting the entrenched mandate. Even more concerning for Raisi, many religious-minded Iranians are siding with them.

Much to the chagrin of Raisi and his orthodox supporters, excessive investment in hijab rabble-rousing and stiffened regulations have miscarried, demonstrating once more that fundamentalism in any form produces catastrophes. Now, the entire country is in turmoil, and more and more young men and women are growing hostile to the tenets of a religion that was never meant to be promoted through intimidation. What was supposed to be the trump card of the Raisi administration has become his soft underbelly with a situation that has clearly spiraled out of control.

After a couple of hours trying to find any evidence that you had cured your ignorance of WW2 by getting yourself up to date with what Goebbels (and Goering and Himmler) had said in his diaries about annihilation of the Jews, eliminating them from Europe etc I couldn’t find that you had so suggest you do searches for references to Jews in Goebbels diaries and read Peter Longereich’s large book on Goebbels -mostly his diaries which have nearly 200 references to Jews.

You don’t express respect for David Cole (Stein) but he has studied Holocaust issues for much longer than you and writes crisply about them in his recent TakiMag article

    The Holocaust of Doing Busines

Here are some useful quotes [apologies for not having time to mark textual elisiisions]:)

Holocaust deniers, largely borderline-schizophrenic narcissists, believe that, because they’ve “broken the Jews’ brainwashing,” they must therefore have a mind of such unassailable brilliance, whatever ideas they dream up can’t possibly be false. You can’t talk sense into them because they view anything that challenges their genius as “Jew trickery.”

And with Six Million dogmatists, if you challenge their assumptions they shut down, because they view anything that contradicts their canon as “Nazi propaganda.”

The superiority of the “expert.” Who reads comic books. Or a single Holocaust book.

I had a brief back-and-forth last week with a Holocaust one-booker. Michael Tracey is one of those Bernie Bros who became a Tucker Bro. Like Jimmy Dore. I have only the most superficial knowledge of this type of pundit.

Then you have the dilettantes—the people who read one book and consider themselves experts. These are the lowbrows upon whom the purveyors of Holocaust ephemera set their low sights.

I think of these Bernie-to-Tucker guys the same way I think about mumble rap: something I already disliked, made worse.

So Tracey, one of those aforementioned foreign policy know-it-alls, is in lockstep with Tuck on “the Ukraine war is America’s fault; our meddling always makes everything worse!” And maybe he’s right; I don’t care. Like I said, foreign policy ain’t my beat. But Tracey couldn’t resist using the Holocaust to bolster his case. That I do care about. In dozens of tweets, Tracey argued that U.S. entry into WWII led to the “acceleration of the Holocaust”:

To what extent US military intervention curtailed or mitigated the Holocaust does seem ripe for clarification if it’s going to be cited as precedent for modern-day military intervention.

There is a robust body of evidence that suggests escalation of US involvement in the war, followed by official US entry, may well have been factors in the acceleration of the most lethal phase of the Holocaust.

US entry did not stop the Holocaust, and may well have been a motivating factor in accelerating the lethality of the Holocaust.

US entry to WWII coincided with the initiation of the most lethal phase of the Holocaust, and may well have been a motivating factor in Hitler’s acceleration of the Holocaust.

Tracey acknowledges that mass killings of Jews in occupied Russia had been going on since summer 1941, but he argues that U.S. entry in December prompted Hitler to “accelerate” to continent-wide extermination. Tracey cites a meeting Hitler convened at the Chancellery on Dec. 12 (the day after he declared war on America), and he also cites an author named Christian Gerlach (indeed a fine historian) as his prime source to back up the claim that it was at this 12/12 meeting that Hitler decided to accelerate the killings in response to U.S. entry.

Tracey quotes Goebbels’ diary regarding the gist of that meeting: “The world war is here, the annihilation of Jewry must be the necessary consequence.”

Tracey’s conclusion: Hitler, enraged by U.S. entry into the war, decided to expand the Holocaust to total annihilation.

A few problems: It was Hitler who declared war on the U.S., not vice versa. Part of why Hitler so foolishly opened that second front is that at the time he didn’t fear America. Hitler was still convinced that the war in Russia would be wrapped up soon enough; he figured Japan would keep America busy until then. All that was on Hitler’s mind was the Russia campaign, and if he was angry about anything on Dec. 12, it was that a week earlier the Russians had launched a surprisingly effective counteroffensive during the Battle of Moscow. That counterattack, still ongoing on the 12th, was Hitler’s prime irritant that day.

See, there’s text that comes after that above-quoted sentence from Goebbels’ diary: “If the German people has again now sacrificed around 160,000 dead in the eastern campaign, the originators of this bloody conflict will have to pay for it with their lives.”

The Eastern Front was the matter at hand; the stalled campaign, the counteroffensive, and the realization that the Germans were going to have a long hard winter with no win before year’s end. The liquidation of Polish Jewry (Aktion Reinhard) that occurred in 1942 was completely unconnected to U.S. entry; it had everything to do with a slowed Eastern campaign and a large “enemy population” of Jews too close to the front for Hitler’s liking (this is the exact reason Himmler would give for Reinhard upon its conclusion in 1943).

The “problem” of the Polish Jews and the stalled eastern campaign would’ve been the same whether Pearl Harbor happened or not; American entry neither created Hitler’s Polish dilemma nor influenced the decision to expand the “herd thinning” of non-laboring Jews, initiated summer 1941 in occupied Russia and Belarus, to Poland.

Even Tracey’s main source, Gerlach, in the very paper Tracey cites, makes it clear that “the entry of the U.S. into the war” was nothing more than “a welcome pretext” for Hitler to “announce a decision that he and others presumably had been contemplating in any case” (emphasis mine).

Pretext: a reason that isn’t the real reason. No, U.S. entry into the war isn’t why the Holocaust accelerated in 1942. Tracey’s own source says as much.

Plus, if Goebbels can be used to support the notion of a “decision to accelerate” at the Dec. 12 meeting, he can be used to undermine it, too. On March 7, 1942, Goebbels wrote:

Any final solution involves a tremendous number of new viewpoints. The Jewish question must be solved within a pan-European frame. There are 11,000,000 Jews still in Europe. They will have to be concentrated later, to begin with, in the East; possibly an island, such as Madagascar, can be assigned to them after the war. In any case there can be no peace in Europe until the last Jews are eliminated from the continent.

These (and other) seemingly contradictory diary entries (“annihilation” in December 1941, resettlement on March 7, 1942, “liquidation” but just for Polish Jews on March 27, “liquidation” and “resettlement” on May 30) demonstrate that during a war even people “in the know” aren’t always 100 percent certain what’s going on. Nazi policy regarding Europe’s Jews remained fluid for the duration, with multiple “solutions” that differed by nation and shifted with Germany’s battlefield fortunes, and Nazi leaders who could, in the same breath, speak of localized solutions for individual Jewish populations and larger solutions for “the Jews” as a whole.

That’s why you have to read everything, not just the few sentences or few scholars who agree with your predetermined angle.

A good explanation about why Hollywood has had a string of failures. Here are some low lights (1)

Why Is Leftist Entertainment So Divisive And Devoid Of Imagination?

Consumers have near-zero interest in leftist media. As I have said in the past, “Get Woke, Go Broke” is not just a mantra, it’s a rule these days. But why are leftists in entertainment so incapable of producing anything resembling exciting content? Why do they suck so bad?

Well, they follow a losing formula, and that formula works something like this:

    4) Portray men as weak and incompetent. Portray white people as stupid or racist. Portray black people as constant victims. Portray women with overtly masculine character traits, but also as victims at the same time. Make everyone in charge a woman, or gay, or both. If a man is in charge, make sure he is being controlled by a woman. Make sure your main character is constantly lecturing everyone else and the audience about leftist virtues.

    5) Make sure there is a perfect pie chart of ethnicity in every single scene despite the statistics and demographics of a place or time. It doesn’t matter if a story is set in an ancient viking village in the north of Europe or in the elitist estates of Victorian England, minorities must be represented as main characters despite all historical fact.

    6) If a classic male character cannot be changed without alienating potential customers away from spending their money, pretend he is a major part of the story to trick people into theaters, then make him weak and pathetic, the opposite of a hero. Or, just kill him.

    9) Immediately start attacking anyone who MIGHT criticize the product before they ever do so. Make the customers and the fans into villains if they refuse to give you their money. Accuse them of bigotry and blame your inevitable failure on racism, sexism, misogyny, etc. It wasn’t your fault that your story bombed, it is the fault of “incels” and “boomers” and all the uncultured swine out there filled with hate. They sabotaged you. They are the problem.

    10) Rinse. Repeat.

Yes, it sounds pathetic but this is the state of entertainment today and it has been a pervasive problem for several years now.

The largest source of money for summer blockbusters are young straight men with disposable income. They do not want to see gay, weak men being pushed around by hyper aggressive, unattractive, older women.

Sci-Fi / Fantasy genre fans remembers the original source material. Randomly swapping gender, race, and sexual orientation, all higgledy-piggledy, for no good reason breaks believability.

Also, the science of heredity is well known. If the society works the way the story indicates, everyone would be moving towards a fairly uniform light yellowish brown. If there are multiple distinct ethnicities, the world needs an explanation driving that genetic outcome.

    Amazon’s Rings of Power

The biggest problem is they are stretching limited source material for multiple seasons. It is soooo…… Slooooow…. (2)

Amazon analyst Tom Forte was already concerned about the performance of the company’s Lord of the Rings TV show “The Rings of Power.” But after he watched several episodes, he became even more worried about the $1 billion project.

We fell asleep during our first viewings of episodes one, three, and four and have not watched episode five yet due to a combination of not enjoying the first four episodes and a busy schedule,” Forte, an analyst at D.A. Davidson, wrote in a recent note to investors.

Galadrial is one of the most powerful beings in Middle Earth by the time she meets Frodo Baggins. Seeing her as a rebellious “youth” thousands of years earlier is an interesting idea. That she is portrayed as an idiot at the end of Episode 1 is simply terrible abuse of a character with potential. Bad writing can kill anything.

What story purpose is served by ethnic shifting — Elves, and Númenóreans, and Dwarfs, and Harfoots (pre-Hobbits)? None? Again bad decision making at the Production level. Deviating from the depiction established by the six Peter Jackson films required explanation.

Lenny Henry is the only thing breathing life and interest into the Harfoot story line. If they had only altered that group, perhaps it would have worked. We will never know, because the Production team insisted on messing with every group simultaneously.

    PEACE 😇

  56. Ralph Schoenman, The Hidden History of Zionism

In denying the existence of the Palestinian people, Zionism sought to create the political climate for their removal, not only from their land but from history. When acknowledged at all, the Palestinians were re-invented as a semi-savage, nomadic remnant. Historical records were falsified – a procedure begun during the last quarter of the 19th century but continuing to this day in such pseudo-historical writings as Joan Peters’ From Time Immemorial.

  57. @Ron Unz

I’m not able or willing to expound and back my young friend Andrew Roberts on history or politics, though I acknowledge and celebrate his success as an author. I have just been told that he has become Lord Roberts which I have not been able to confirm. But to check that I went to Wikipedia and what I did find was this passage which might help your understanding of WW2:

Roberts’ analysis of the Second World War convinced him that the Nazi German government had significant advantages in military organisation and economic power early in the war. He has argued that, if someone other than Adolf Hitler had control of the nation’s military strategy, the country would likely have forgone a costly direct invasion of Soviet territory, which occurred through Operation Barbarossa, and instead would have swept through Mediterranean Sea territories before trying to seal off British-controlled Middle East areas. Roberts believes that the likely morale-building victories against the comparatively weak forces to the southeast could have allowed Hitler to essentially win the war. According to Roberts, the other key strategic mistake was the German declaration of war against the United States (1941), which happened only four days after the Pearl Harbor attacks and which the Nazi regime was not obliged to do. Roberts argues that after the declaration, Germany could not keep the US war-making economic machine at bay. Roberts believes that the mistakes, delusions, and exaggerated self-confidence complexes that the fascist dictatorship fostered proved its undoing. Roberts has stated that he views Joseph Stalin’s control of the Soviet forces as having been disastrous to the allied efforts against the Axis powers. He commented that Stalin’s obsessive tactics of killing his own men for ideological reasons cost him thousands upon thousands of troops. In the Battle of Stalingrad alone, Soviet forces killed the equivalent of two full divisions of their own personnel.

A Pew Research Center poll conducted in July found that Israel was one of the only countries among the 37 surveyed where support for Trump was higher than for former US president Barack Obama.

The Pew report also noted that Israelis’ confidence in Trump grew during his presidency and the Jewish state was the only country to prefer Trump over US President Joe Biden.

Additionally, an Israeli Democracy Institute poll conducted in November 2020 found that 70 percent of Jewish Israelis considered a second Trump term to be more favorable for Israelis compared to a Biden victory.

The ADL submitted an amicus to the court and claimed Asian Americans are committing cultural misappropriation against Jews by suing Harvard. “Rather than learning the lessons of that historical discrimination, plaintiff-appellant’s attempt to create such a false equivalency misappropriates that history.” Audacious stuff.

The amicus was prepared by Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson, which is a historically Jewish law firm on Wall Street with a lot of pro-bono work for the ADL and other Jewish orgs.

Pentagon bots and trolls used different narrative techniques and approaches in an attempt to influence perceptions and engender engagement. A handful promoted “hardliner” views, criticizing the Iranian government for insufficiently hawkish foreign policy while being excessively reformist and liberal domestically.

The researchers state the purpose of these efforts was unclear, although an obvious explanation is the Pentagon sought to foster anti-government discontent among conservative Iranians, while creating lists of local “extremists” to monitor online.

Overwhelmingly though, Pentagon-linked accounts were viciously critical of the Iranian government, and the IRGC. Numerous Pentagon bots and trolls sought to blame food and medicine shortages on the latter, which was likened to ISIS, and posting videos of Iranians protesting and looting supermarkets captioned in Pashto, English, and Urdu.

Despite the rioters’ widespread acts of violence and vandalism, targeted at civilians and authorities alike, such as the destruction of an ambulance ferrying police officers away from the scene of a riot, they also claim to be motivated by human rights concerns.

Establishment and fringe journalists and pundits have dismissed as conspiracy theories, any suggestions that protests in Iran and beyond are anything other than organic and grassroots in nature.

Yet, clear proof of foreign direction and sponsorship abounds, not least in the very public face of the anti-hijab movement, Masih Alinejad, who for many years has encouraged Iranian women to ceremonially burn their headscarves from the confines of an FBI safehouse in New York City, then publicizes the images online, which travel round the world and back via social media and mainstream news outlets.

Alinejad’s activities have generated a vast amount of fawning and credulous media coverage, without a single journalist or outlet questioning whether her prominent role in the supposedly grassroots, locally-initiated protest movement is affiliated with foreign hostile interference.

This is despite Alinejad posing for photos with former CIA director Mike Pompeo, and receiving a staggering $628,000 in US federal government contracts since 2015.

Much of these funds flowed from the Broadcasting Board of Governors, the US government agency that oversees propaganda platforms such as Radio Free Europe, and Voice of America, the latter of which has produced a Farsi-language show fronted by Alinejad for seven years.

These clusters of social media posts may appear innocuous and authentic in an age of click-bait and viral fake news, yet when aggregated and analysed, they form a potent and potentially dangerous weapon which it turns out is one of many in the Pentagon’s regime-change arsenal.

At the time of Brexit the UK economy was 90% the size of Germany’s. Now it is 75%. Yet in or out of the EU, Britain has had progressively lower growth since 1945, especially since 2008. In the last 30 years the increased spending on health and welfare has been taken from the defence budget in order to keep total government spending at the same level. Despite all this Boris won the leadership by proclaiming an end to austerity, as did Truss. Unfortunately she tried to solve some of the long term problems at the same time. Why are Muslims so horrible to Palestinian Christians? (1)

Palestinians: Why Are Attacks on Christians Being Ignored?

Palestinian Authority has failed to take real measures to punish those who attack Christians or Christian holy sites in the Bethlehem area.

The attacks by Muslims on Christians are often ignored by the international community and media, who seem to speak out only when they can find a way to blame Israel.

Another disturbing situation is that the leaders of the Christian community in the West Bank are reluctant to hold the Palestinian Authority and their Muslim neighbors responsible for the attacks. They are afraid of retribution and prefer to toe the official line of holding Israel solely responsible for the misery of the Christian minority.

Sadly, it is safe to assume that the plight of the Palestinian Christians will only intensify in light of the silence of the international community and the all-too-justified fear of retaliation burdening their own leaders.

But no. You prefer to preserve the ignorance which has Hitler only attacking the Soviet Union when he did because he feared a 1942 attack by Stalin which is utter BS…’

Note that the two motives aren’t mutually exclusive. Private individuals often have several distinct motives for a given action — I think the same applied to Hitler in Operation Barbarossa.

    1. Lebensraum in the East was the grand plan.

    2. Russia was getting distinctly menacing. Striking first, now, was at least defensible.

    3. Germany had mobilized a large army. It was going to be hard to justify keeping all the boys in Feldgrau absent a real need.

    4. It was time to jump again. Hitler was just a froggy kind of guy.

    5. Absent hope of Russia entering the war, maybe England really would throw in the towel. Hey, it could have happened.

I definitely want to scout the ‘For Sale’ signs again. There’s a winery down that way I want to check out. It’s about time we got out of the house.

It’s a nice day for a drive. The wife likes this sort of thing.

All of these motives apply. It’s not like I’m ‘really’ doing it for any one of the reasons. More like the incentives build up to a critical mass, and we’re off.

Ditto for Hitler attacking Russia — or for that matter, for us invading Iraq. All of the motives are present, not just one.

That is, the purpose of the later British Mandate of Palestine, of the French Mandate of Syria, of the British Mandate of Iraq, was to ‘render administrative advice and assistance” to these peoples in preparation for their becoming independent states, an achievement that they were recognized as not far from attaining. The Covenant was written before the actual Mandates were established, but Palestine was a Class A Mandate and so the language of the Covenant was applicable to it. The territory that formed the British Mandate of Iraq was the same territory that became independent Iraq, and the same could have been expected of the British Mandate of Palestine. The failed attempt to use the “Green Line” as a national border has failed for 50+ years. This is unsurprising. Artificial armistice lines usually make poor borders.

It is time to seek a solution that could actually work. The smart move is looking again at the whole Palestinian Mandate and selecting a short functional border that meets the needs of everyone in the territory. This obvious and natural boundary is a good reference.

Unless Islam is a Religion of Greed, over 3/4 of the land should be sufficient.

The Muslim Occupiers in Judea & Samaria [MOJS] are not ‘stateless’. They are simply colonists living in settlements on the wrong side of river. Disraeli’s myth-making about Jews was to have a lasting and toxic legacy. In Coningsby, he introduces a Jewish wise man, Sidonia, who sketches out a philosophy in which a hierarchy of race is the organising principle of human affairs and in which Jews, operating through “subterranean agencies”, are the secret power behind world events.

Cesarani writes that “no one had so far conjured up the image of the Jews as a potent global force”. Disraeli was the first to shape what would become the enduringly poisonous myth of a world Jewish conspiracy.

As with Marx’s essay “On the Jewish Question”, so Disraeli’s words would live on in the hearts of antisemites

. In 1920 the English version of The Protocols of the Elders of Zion cited Sidonia. In 1941, as the final solution was under way, Hitler quoted “The British Jew, Lord Disraeli” approvingly. It is a terrible, unexpected legacy, one exposed in a crisp, persuasive book.

This morning on ABC RN’s Saturday Extra the following segment was intriguing

Two obvious motives for continued non-disclosure stick out, not mutually exclusively, and not particularly convincingly.

One is the possible enormity of the CIA’s failure to prevent the assassination. The other I find more likely and it emerges from the apparent connection of many of the withheld documents to organised crime. Still, right now we’ve got two out of three. It’s not like the Wichita Horror or that killing of the grandfather and three children in Texas, or…

Iranian tyranny at home (random reeducation beatings, people vanishing from the streets, etc.) is horrid. The current theocracy wields fear & repression against its own people in a way that makes many want the Shah back. That is an eye popping level of divide between the extremist government and its victims.

The despotic Khamenei regime appears to be on its way out. Unlike the failed NGO green movement some years ago, this current resistance is 100% local and grounded on a panoply of legitimate grievances against police state extremism.

No one expects the next government to be great. Even good is too hopeful. However, commercial/military rule would be capable of sane decision making beyond the theocracy’s mental reach. Stopping the nuclear weapons program and ending funds for violence abroad would immediately free up money for the civilian population. And, verifiable actions would allow progress on the sanctions front.

  120. Perhaps some readers of this site might take an interest on this obscure author which was mentioned in an article from a year ago and by a currently semi-inactive contributor to this site; I decided to post this information here where it will likely reach a greater number of interested people.
It concerns William S. Haas, a German-born scholar who settled in America in the 1940s, and taught in some Universities there. After he fled Germany (he was of Jewish descent) he was invited to give some lectures in Iran and, reportedly, intended to promote anthropometric studies of all races in Iran which is a rather diverse country, but the government was only interested in studying what they considered the “master race”, the so-called Aryans.

Why is SJW Muslim Globalism so deviant? This is core Bacha Bāzī messaging: (1)

After being caught inserting subliminal messages inciting pedophilia and child pornography into their advertisements, luxury fashion brand Balenciaga blames the producers and sues them for $25 million.

On Friday, the luxury brand sued the production company North Six, Inc. and the set designer Nicholas Des Jardins, for using a legal document from a Supreme Court ruling on child porn laws as a prop.

How can we permanently expel George IslamoSoros and his Jihadist NGO’s from Judeo-Christian lands?

How do we know Balenciaga and Muslims are linked? Follow the vile anti-Semitism: (2) (3)

Balenciaga-related posts from her Instagram page after the brand came under fire for its latest campaign.

Hadid posted pictures from the new campaign on her feed, which were reportedly deleted on Wednesday. The new campaign was created to display the brand’s Objects line and featured a number of children holding plush toys, bizarrely dressed in bondage. Shortly after the campaign was released, users on Twitter noticed that one image appeared to include a poorly hidden court document about ‘virtual child porn,’ causing people to question the brand’s ethics and intentions

Bella Hadid accused of sharing anti-Semitic rhetoric over Israeli-Palestinian clash

“There is NO place for this!!! Especially in 2021!!!! it has always been #freepalestine. ALWAYS. I have a lot to say about this but for now, please read and educate yourself. This is not about religion. This is not about spewing hate on one or the other. This is about Israeli colonization, ethnic cleansing, military occupation and apartheid over the Palestinian people that has been going on for YEARS,” she wrote in the deleted post.

Many Instagram users pointed out the various inaccuracies in Hadid’s post, including perpetuating anti-Semitic tropes.

Why are Muhammad’s followers so evil? Apartheid, genocide, and paedophilia. All in one religion.

  123. “Some time ago I questioned in print why there is such vast admiration for The Diary of Ann Frank. I received many reactions, positive and negative, but whether those who let me know their reactions agreed or disagreed, they all shared one feature: a deep compassion for what they called the ‘innocent’ victims of Nazi aggression… I was further startled to find that in the many communications I received, the adjective ‘innocent’ was applied only by Jews to Jewish victims.

Nobody referred to the innocent Gypsies or the innocent Jehovah’s Witnesses, though they, like the Jews were internal minorities, one of which, the Gypsies, was exterminated in toto. Maybe I overlooked it, but despite search I can recall no popular reference to the innocent Norwegians, for example, who the Nazis also killed in numbers.”

Only four is not not enough horror for Satan and Muhammad. You are thinking of the Sbarro Bombing where Islam murdered seven children and many others.

The path to end violence in Muslim Occupied Judea & Samaria is obvious.

‘Which killing was the one with four kids? It sounds horrific.’

Not really horrific — all the victims were white.

Three grandchildren and a cousin were visiting their grandfather at his ranch in Texas. A jail escapee broke into the house and killed all of them. He even did it with an assault rifle, if memory serves.

…but, as I say, all the victims were white, and the killer wasn’t. Move along…

It would be interesting to know how many of the fifty one were Jewish.

More than one (the theoretically most probable answer), but not all fifty one.

    I choose, I choose…twenty seven!
