No, we’re winning so there’s no upside but there is potential downside. And we don’t want to platform a fascist. And we don’t want people to get Covid:

It has nothing to do with senescence or laptops. Nothing!

  1. Biden got whipped in the first debate.

He’s been taking softballs at the contrived “town halls”.

He won’t be ready for a fight at the last debate.

They’ve been protecting this sad senile Stupid Joe.

He’s probably gonna fall flat at the last debate.

Trump should be ready to rumble that night.

That fake smile might finally evaporate from Stupid Joe.

When I watched the first debate, I thought that Trump looked like an abrasive schitzoid who failed to make any substantive point on much of anything. Biden didn't look good but won by not looking as bad as Trump.

In what possible sense do you think that the first debate was any kind of victory for Trump?!

Trump could actually go after Biden on substance but seems too lacking in self discipline to pull that off. He'd better get it together for the last debate!

Not nothing, but less than you might think, after all, a steady “don’t debate Trump” drumbeat has been going for years. It was observed around 2015 that political focus groups with Democrats and Republicans told they need to keep their voices at an indoor level were no longer possible. Many Democrats, particularly women, honestly believe their opponents are simply evil and should not be civilly debated. That’s the world we live in, at least those of us still in the job market. Seems a bit anachronistic to have these debates at the high level if we can’t have them in our everyday lives.

Anyway, I was initially planning to vote Constitution Party, but its candidate appears to be a sleazeball, so I’m voting Prohibition Party instead.

Everyone knows Trump's not perfect, certainly his coronavirus policy could have been better. But if you're going to vote for a joke ticket, why not one who can actually win? Laugh all you want that it's all a joke, someday the party ends and we're gonna be waking up to Joe and Kamala.

  7. Not surprising: The modus operandi of most liberals is to stifle debate.

The softest form of this is the expression, “OK, let’s agree that we disagree.” This phrase is used when they are outgunned or outnumbered; otherwise, they pull every lever at their disposal to silence any conflicting viewpoints.

It is truly amazing that Trump is going to win this election not with the so-called Sailer Strategy but with DR3, thus proving that the old GOPe strategy was the correct one, it just needed somebody with enough ka-johnnies to actually push it through.

The analysis of this fact and its implications will be fascinating, but such analysis cannot precede the fact’s acceptance, upon which we are still waiting.

White liberals, and much of the white managerial class, are just so hopeless and clueless. In 1 or 2 generations this class will no longer exist. If white people were sane the Sailer Strategy would work.

I'm not so sure that it's the DR3 strategy that is pushing some black and Hispanic voters to Trump though - I think the Sailer Strategy, Trump's appeal to the working class crosses racial lines.

Turns out Latinos don't want their communities destroyed with Somalians. And nobody like East Indians. Right wing politicians are generally just cowards though.

I don't think it has anything to do with DR3; Biden is clearly suffering from the affects of old age and shouldn't be running for town council, much less president, and the HinduDindu is deeply unlikable. This election is 100% a referendum on Trump, and his opponent is the media. It's such a unique situation that any "strategy" is non-transferable, either from the past or toward the future.

    Indeed, and why should they?

I am no great promoter of Donald Trump, but in the United States, I disbelieve that Latino or Hispanic were a very informative category. Too diverse. Not enough in common.

I conjecture that 30 percent of U.S. Latinos are hardly more interested in being Latino then you are in being English or German or Italian or whatever. These Latinos just identify as white.

Another 30 percent identify as Latino and white—or, more likely, as Mexican and white, or as Cuban and white, etc.

American media keeps talking about Latinos as though there were something there to talk about. Well, there is something, but it's not as though one were speaking of Jews or blacks. Unlike Jews and blacks, the majority of U.S. Latinos are assimilable as far as I can tell.

Even with that multi-year long record of crazy train riding, I gotta wonder if he she it was enrolled at some college or other until the Current Year?

One of the not generally known facts about higher ed is how some families send their troubled 20-somethings off to study General Studies. It’s cheaper than many rehabs for a start. The campus environment is pretty safe; there’s on-site medical care that can dispense anti anxiety drugs / STD meds / contraception; there’s a reliable food supply available; prepaid counseling, etc. Many instructors have had the experience of some guy in the class who’s “not all there”, signed up for the minimum of hours, everything Pass/Fail. Taking General Studies plus maybe one more rigorous course. Some stick around for over a decade.

The perpetual student. Anyone who’s been around one or more campuses long enough has seen them. Even out here at Flyover U there were a couple of them wandering around for a year or two, wearing dresses & trying to talk in high, breathy voices…really sad stuff to see. Eventually some become 30-something perpetual students…

Got to wonder, how many of the more crazed Antifa freelancers this year are people that got pushed out of their campus comfort zone by COVID and needed someone to hang with, somewhere to go, something to do?

The white ones, being white, are assimilable. In 2020, this means many abortions, few children, and black squares all over their instagrams. I've seen it in the Brazilian and venezuelan communities. The white emigrés seem to be killing off their blood line as fast as possible.

The indios are not assimilable because they are indios.

Assimilation is an outdated concept, anyways, it assumes that 1) there is something to assimilate into and 2) whites are a dominant enough force that assimilation is even desirable. We talked about 'assimilation' in canada to pacify the white majority, until that white majority no longer exists.
