The news articles on all the putative political fallout president Trump is putatively receiving for revealing how utterly inconsequential the federal government is to the well being of middle America are pulling fast ones on their readers. Here's an example from my favorite polling outfit, Reuters-Ipsos: Yikes, that's a 14-point gap in blame for Trump... Read More
The wall is Trump's no new taxes pledge. It's infinitely frustrating to see that he is apparently only now fully grasping that reality. Hell, rank amateurs have been pointing this out from the beginning: The Derb is concerned that Trump, cognizant of how his reelection campaign hinges on the wall or lack thereof, will give... The most important gubernatorial primary in the country takes place on Tuesday, August 7th, right in the middle American heartland. When Trump tapped Sam Brownback to convert the heathens, then-lieutenant governor Jeff Colyer inherited the spot. Colyer is an open borders cuck. He's in the farm lobby's back pocket. Under Sebelius, Brownback, and now Colyer,... Read More
From a SurveyUSA poll conducted back in April, illustration 364,140 of how in a multiracial society, democracy inevitably devolves into a skins game, even on the left. The following shows the percentages of whites, Hispanics, and Asians who said they were supporting gubernatorial hopefuls Gavin Newsom, Antonio Villaraigosa, and John Chiang:
Drawing from a large Reuters-Ipsos polling sample (N = 24,487), the following graphs show, first, the percentages of Trump voters who say they will vote Democrat in the 2018 congressional mid-terms, and second, the percentages of Clinton voters who say they will vote Republican in the 2018 congressional mid-terms (both in a two-way race with... So bye, bye MAGA dream in the sky:
Some interesting observations from a SurveyUSA poll on Californians (N = 909): - Trump's approval rating in California is 30% approve, 60% disapprove. That compares unfavorably to his putative national approval rating of 37% approve, 58% disapprove. Trump's approval is only 9 points worse in a state he lost by 29 points than it is... Read More
A DACAmnesty legalizes 800,000. Via chain migration, the number quintuples in a few years and the only sensible vote in 2020 becomes Adam Kokesh running on a platform of dissolving the United States into 51 independent, sovereign states because the last chance at something resembling a nation will be as dead as Trump's reelection campaign.... The following graph comes from data from a Reuters-Ipsos poll asking about support for the Republican congressional tax reform plan. The poll has been running since mid-October, so the results are presumably mostly in response to the House plan rather than the one from the Senate, which came out last week (N = 4,390):
Via Pew (with a heads-up from Anatoly Karlin), the following table shows the percentage of each country's population that approves of Trump's US-Mexico border wall as a percentage of the percentage that disapproves it (not a typo!). Unsure/don't know responses are excluded. There isn't a single country where more say they approve than disapprove, but... Read More
