What is actually being replaced would have to be described by a string of four or five adjectives, and that’s the problem; it is too long. If I had to vote for a single adjective or noun adjunct, it would be “proficiency.” Thus, “Proficiency replacement.” Signing off from California, where “get it basically okay” has replaced “proficiency” and smiles are not accepted.

Wanting your property to go up in value is an artifact of the artificially-low interest rates from the FED along with years of inflation that is a lot higher today than the BLS BS will tell you. If any other non-risky investment is a losing proposition (what 2% at best in a 4% inflation environment?), housing is all most have left. Sweat equity can pay off. Well, I got a lot of respect for Barack Obama. I think I disagree with him on this one. Maybe a little self-serving, but I do disagree. Here is the issue. The issue is where power resides in America and it’s not white or black or male or female. We are living in a nation increasingly becoming an oligarchy, where you have a handful of billionaires who spend hundreds of millions of dollars buying elections and politicians. You have more income and wealth inequality today than at any time since the 1920s. We are the only major country on earth, not to guarantee healthcare for all people, which is why we need Medicare for all. We are facing an existential crisis of climate change. The issue is not old or young, male or female. The issue is working people standing up, taking on the billionaire class, and creating a government and an economy that works for all, not just the 1%.

I don’t know about all that. I saw the data on political orientation of immigrants by origin/race, and white immigrants were only marginally more righist than other immigrants.
Right on the money. I have my slice of that (bought a very isolated farm in Appalachia some years back).
Unfortunately, my eldest children are entering their teen years, and their extracurricular activities are preventing us from spending time there as we did when they were little. My eldest son is now training 6 days a week intensely, for example, and can’t be away from his training partners and coaches. He has to prep for several state championships, the nationals, and junior Olympics. This fall he even missed hunting entirely.
I suppose it’s a sign that I am becoming an old man, but I want back the America of my youth... with similar demographics (though perhaps not with similar crime rates).

If Pompeo doesn’t run, Kobach will probably win the GOP primary. The only polling I’ve seen has him losing the general election by 10 points, though. He will have the benefit of being down ballot of Trump though, something he didn’t have in 2018. We moved out of state early last Spring so I won’t be able to vote for him this time around.
The way he bailed on Cenk Uygur was unfortunately par for the course for him. I have a friend who once railed quite vituperously about nonwhites in front of me and after several minutes of ranting, he gathered himself and said, "Oh, I just realized you are not white." My response was something along the lines of, "Well, until you brought it up just now, I also forgot that I was not white." ;)
I have had many instances of similar occurrences over the years. People seem to get comfortable around me and speak their minds and see past my race. I think at least some of it has to do with the fact that I speak openly too all the while being gracious in person.
It's a quality that helped me much when I did interviews and investigations.
The thing I don't get about a lot of racial minorities today is how uncomfortable they seem to be - whether rhetorically or in fact - of being minorities among whites. I never understood this. I always found myself being exceedingly comfortable among whites and never gave a moment's thought to being "different." To the extent I thought of myself as different, it was along my personal characteristics rather than my race and ethnicity. And often I enjoyed being a repository of foreign cultural knowlege amongst my friends and acquintances (that's the professor in me).
So when people who are ethnic minorities complain today of being the only this or that among whites, I am genuinely baffled - it's confusing how people, especially young people, want to be both the same and different at the same time. Recently I read a news item on iSteve, and in the article, an Asian girl indignantly complained of going to a heavily white school where she was confused with another Asian girl. See, I thought that was rather humorless and petulant. In the same situation (in which I never found myself unfortunately), I'd have enjoyed the confusion immensely by playing practical jokes on the others at school, e.g. pretending to be the other Asian kid, going to each other's classes, changing outfits mid-way and switching roles, etc. Have some good-natured fun with it.

What’s your take on how big, at minimum, a “farm” has to be for you to be able to stretch out, but not so big that it becomes a drag, in terms of keeping it clear of undesirable fauna and flora?
For fauna, cats and dogs augmented by occasional shooting practice for the kids. For flora, keep some livestock.
Audacious, I am not so sure that immigration restrictionalism will lead to any meaningful change. What will happen is that Whites may be able to hold off immigration restrictionalism for some time, but then the “diverse” get control and it will continue again.
