Though the corporate media won’t have Donald Trump to kick around much longer, he’s still giving them black eyes on the way out. After five years of portraying him as a misogynistic racist relentlessly implementing white supremacy to benefit white men at the expense of everyone else, Trump improved his electoral performance among women of all races and among non-white men in 2020. Biden took a big bite out of Trump’s advantage among white men, though, and it was those white men who ultimately made the difference:

Many dissidents are attributing this plummeting among white men to Trump’s failure to deliver on the campaign pledges he made in 2016.

Perhaps, though it may also be attributable to Joe Biden being a better candidate–especially in the view of white men–than Hillary Clinton was.

  5. HBS says:

I wouldn’t put to much stock into exit polls this time around. They really are all over the place. Trump even with white college graduates while losing the suburbs in large numbers doesn’t add up. That said, I would agree with the dissidents more so in terms of Trump’s loss of votes amongst white males (75%). The other loss of votes might be amongst Obama-Bernie supporters who went Trump out of protest in 2016 (25%). If anything Trump should have learned from Bernie to (1) watch out for DNC-CIA vote fraud and (2), that you can’t pander to minorities and think that you will hold on to your white votes at the same time. If there is any upside to the unlikeable view, its that Kamala is extremely unlikeable and will have that handicap in 2024.

Should Biden prevail, it now looks like 2008 was the realigning election and we are not at the beginning of the re-alignment, but towards the end. New Dealism (1932) -> Fusionist Conservatism (1968-1980) -> Progressive Neoliberalism (2008-2020).

  6. Based on exit polls. Not reliable.

Joe Biden is just Hillary Clinton in a pant suit, or is it the other way around?

    Clinton’s daughter married a Jew.

The real fraud is that his corruption and selling of office was hidden until most votes were cast.

That and general censorship and suppression of everything that was against Biden or pro-Trump.

I just don’t see how Republicans ever win the Presidency again. Trump was really a tremendous campaigner, almost messianic in his efforts. Five massive rallies each day at the end. We will never see that kind of effort again. Nothing close.

  12. Mark G. says:

Trump put a lot of effort into expanding his base by attracting more blacks, Hispanics, and women and was successful. He even increased his vote percentage among black women, a group that votes overwhelmingly for Democrats.

In order to do this, though, he had to downplay support for positions that benefit white males and that caused him to lose support in this group. He needed to show he was willing to continue to work to reverse trends that harm this group: more affirmative action, more welfare handouts, more government jobs, less private sector manufacturing jobs and more non-white immigration. He didn’t do enough of that. Since white males still make up a large percentage of the population, this helped in causing him to lose this time around.

In hindsight, I see how the Republicans failed to prepare for this. They should have had a website ready that would collate election information, like voter turnout/participation per county/city ward, and generate easy to understand maps and graphs. This would have allowed people to see immediately when, eg, votes were dumped in certain locales. People should have been primed to understand what vote fraud would look like.

The only way to stop the fraud now is the voice of the people. Trump should have planned post-election rallies to fight fraud. If he won, they would be parties. If he lost, he would have a forum for whipping up people’s enthusiasm to demand transparency.

    Oh well. Too late now.

Not married to one, but I do speak Spanish and have read quite a bit of the Latin American literary corpus. There is a trope of the “aspirationally white mestizo/co” present in quite a bit of Mexican and Venezuelan literature. I assume you can also project this to the Cubans.

Trump took a bite out his White support…Biden had nothing to do with it. Where are the statistics showing the number of White men that voted for Trump in 2016…and voted for Biden in 2020?

Many dissidents are attributing this plummeting among white men to Trump’s failure to deliver on the campaign pledges he made in 2016.

    That is exactly what happened.
Carlson, Hannity and Ingraham were ecstatic, last night, that Trump had gained minimal support of blacks and latinos…while losing support from Whites.

Perhaps, though it may also be attributable to Joe Biden being a better candidate–especially in the view of white men–than Hillary Clinton was.

    We most definitely agree here.

  34. Now that we are getting some hard numbers, it’s becoming clear what happened. People in these very comments (and elsewhere across conservative media) have expressed dissatisfaction with Trump, his lack of action on issues and the ConInc. type characters he’s brought in to run his administration these last 4 years. Apparently, those disgruntled voters stayed home while Trump was pandering to Kanye, 50 Cent, latinos and the rainbow cohort. Emotional commenters still in denial should refrain from shooting the messenger. AE is not the only one to pick up on Trump losing a small, but meaningful slice of his core base among the working and middle classes. (https://tinyurl.com/y4gzu45b)

At this stage, it looks as if Trump choosing to dump Sailer’s strategy in exchange for the standard GOP pander strategy has proven fatal to his political prospects. Conservative candidates in the future who pay attention to this would do well not to make the same mistake.

  42. Joe Biden Pushes WHITE GENOCIDE

Joe Biden is a politician whore for the Cheap Labor Faction of the US Congress.

I challenge Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to a debate on mass legal immigration and mass illegal immigration and monetary policy and foreign policy and American national identity and financialization and globalization and the increasing concentration of wealth and power in the USA.

Joe Biden And Donald Trump Both Push WHITE GENOCIDE.

I voted for neither Trump nor Biden. I voted for one intelligent and persistent local politics gadfly for school board and I wrote-in some names and left other offices blank.

    Joe Biden Must Be Stopped!

I wrote this in February of 2020 and it rings true today:

I like WHITE GENOCIDE more than ‘replacement immigration’ because White Genocide is more sinister and it has the word White in it.

So-called “Diversity” just means that there are less White people.

Israel is a strategically harmful millstone client state that is harming the foreign policy interests of the American Empire. The American Empire must sever any and all contact with the millstone client state of Israel. Jew Nationalists such as Charles Schumer must be removed from power in the USA. Jew Nationalist Charles Shumer puts the interests of Israel ahead of the interests of the USA. Trump is a politician whore for Israel First billionaires Shelly Adelson and Paul Singer and Bernie Marcus and others.

The Murdoch Mob employed a nasty propaganda whore named Megyn Kelly who asked an insolent and impertinent question of Trumpy at a presidential debate and Trumpy took her nasty, snide question involving women and he hit a 500 foot home run to dead center field by invoking the name of that fat slob Rosie O’Donnell.

Megyn Kelly and Rosie O’Donnell have no English blood whatsoever.

As always, my debate challenge to Trump and the three dollar whore politicians in the Republican Party involves me consuming 12 bottles of Sierra Nevada porter before the debate and 12 bottles during the debate to make things interesting.

Trump and the GOP are nasty whores for vile billionaires and other rich people and for transnational corporations and other interests. Trump and the GOP have attacked the regular people in the USA and they must be defeated.

Trump is flooding mass legal immigration into the USA “in the largest numbers ever.”

Trump is refusing to deport the upwards of 30 million illegal alien invaders in the USA.

Trump wants to crush wages for American workers and Trump is in bed with businesses that want cheap foreign labor to be flooded into the USA. Trump is anti-worker and Trump has crawled into bed with billionaires and money-grubbers and other evil and immoral scoundrels.

We must boost wages for workers and make housing more affordable and we must get health care costs down and we must extinguish all student loan debt and repay back every penny of every student loan ever paid back plus 6 percent a year interest accrued yearly.

A currency crisis has been baked into the monetary policy cake, we might as well go for broke and bust the bank and print all kinds of dollars and electronically conjure those dollars up and dole them out to everybody. Overload the ruling class bastards and then implode the financial system. After that, have a few beers or ale and have a picnic.

I’m trying to be as radical as possible, and all the fans of Andrew Jackson know that talking about the central banker shysters is the most radical thing you can do currently.

End the Fed? No. Overload the Fed. Pop all the asset bubbles and free the young people from this evil and immoral and ungodly debt tyranny. Inter-generational debt violence has become genocidal against the historic American nation and it must be stopped.

GOP poll-watchers were told to stand-away 20 feet or more, but that they could use binoculars. Let’s assume poll watchers habitually carry binoculars around with them. The issue of “close focus” still remains. “Close focus” capacity means how close a pair of binoculars can get to an object and still be able to focus upon it. Birders will prefer a close focus of about 6 feet, whereas sports fans and mariners will prefer to emphasize magnification and field of view, at the cost of close focus. Thus, the issue for the supreme court to analyze is what percent of GOP poll watchers were birders, and what percent were mariners. If they were predominantly birders, the election was fair. As the Fox decision desk would say, this assessment is good to 4 standard deviations.

  59. I believe in politician fatigue, the idea of being so sick and tired of a guy/gal’s voice that you will literally turn the channel every time they’re on TV. The mere sound of their voice drives you up the wall. Andrew Cuomo has this effect on me.

Did 2016 Trump supporters develop this fatigue listening to him go on & on about “Hispanic unemployment, Asian unemployment, African-American unemployment…?” Was it enough to vote for the other guy, whose voice is marginally less irritating, and who (crucially) spoke less?

I would definitely mute the set when Trump started talking about Asians like they’re an oppressed minority who need our collective sympathy, and gibs. I think they’re the ones out-earning whites and benefiting from AA when there’s no evidence that they deserve it.

But I still voted for Trump. Others may have defected.

Makes sense to me – I have a lot more life experience living in areas with a large black population versus latino, but they seem different from an assimilation into the majority culture point of view. Blacks retain – by preference – a certain level of separateness, in names, speech patterns, enforcement of cultural preferences that are considered “real”, etc.

In contrast, it seems to me that most Latinos pretty quickly adopt the local norms and customs, and like Asians, immigrants tend to give their American-born kids extremely white names. I still think it’s a good idea to ratchet immigration way down, but broadly speaking the Latino population will probably just sort itself into the same general class/cultural political baskets whites tend to fall into rather than the race-first view that has dominated black political behavior.

Here’s what I posted on Halloween. (Comment #196)

Trump loses the election, but the electoral college vote is much closer than predicted. Trump wins Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Ohio and maybe Iowa, but he loses New Hampshire, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Arizona and Nevada.

Not that it matters to the result of the election, but Biden is currently holding a 7.8-point advantage in the RCP national poll of polls. My guess is that Biden’s popular vote win will be less than five points.

BTW, we will know early if the polls favoring Biden are biased because of shy Trump voters. If Georgia and North Carolina are genuinely competitive and can’t be called early, then Trump’s goose is cooked even if he does win Florida. I’m of the opinion that all this Democratic talk about Georgia, North Carolina, and Texas being swing states is malarky, but we’ll know for sure on election day.

My prediction looks excellent in hindsight, even at this point where we still don’t know the final result of all the states.

The eventual popular vote spread will continue to grow in favor of Biden as more of California’s vote comes in. I expect the final margin will be between four and five points. So I got that one right, too.

The only thing I got really wrong was that I assumed Trump would win Georgia by three to four points at the very least. I didn’t say that in my post, but I certainly thought that would be the case.

I also didn’t expect that North Carolina’s vote would be so close, but Trump will probably pull that one out whereas Georgia is still up in the air.

But if PA, GA and NC stay in the Trump column, and NV and AR stay in the Biden column, then my call will have been perfect on calling the swing states. Of those five states whose outcome is still left in doubt, I would say that only GA and PA look like they have even a chance of eventually breaking against my prediction.

Trump did not do well with the Latinos in 2016 because he had to unseat the entitled Jeb Bush and other RINOs who depended on the Latins for their position. What is gratifying about this election is that it shows that the minorities are more willing to vote on class interests rather than race interests. I suspect two things helped Trump with Hispanics (setting aside Cubans for the moment).

One, the top concern for the Hispanic electorate this year was the economy, which is always Trump’s strength area. The pandemic and the subsequent restrictions and voluntary economic contractions really hit menial and downscale workers hard – a group that is disproportionately Hispanic. Trump wanting to prioritize opening up the economy resonated.

Two, the black rioting, destruction, and mayhem turned off a chunk of the Hispanic voters, especially males (as it did Asian voters, both were up +6 and +7, respectively for Trump from 2016).

I actually think that Steve Sailer is only half-right when he recommends turning the election into a white party vs. black party contest. Yes, Democrats becoming the black party means the GOP wins, but the GOP becoming the explicitly white party means the Democrats win. In other words, non-black party vs. black party framing is much more advantageous to the GOP than white party vs. non-white party.

You and Miss Coulter are talking out of your hats. The idea that the white males who may have chosen to bail from supporting the current executive suddenly voted for the party of easy immigration or open borders makes absolutely not sense given their political disposition.

The reasons the current executive lost ground, if any has been made clear by the frustration expressed repeatedly and forthrightly — he failed to be consistent on immigration, that was his primary and signature issue — even above reviving the confederacy. Miss Coulter is having to face a reality, that the color crime gambit — while it still has some force, is losing its credibility. More importantly, an increasing number of blacks are becoming voters.

    ———————————————

Look, I think its clear who actually won the election and it may be easier than I thought to make the case. But if the traditional white males was not invigorated by the violent protests or the constant reports about an improved economy and better white economic fortunes– then they weren’t going to be motivated by

calls to rally around General Lee.

An according to those that cleave to Dr. McDonald’s brand of advocacy — the white male vote increased for the current executive overall from the previous election. And I think that exit poll is from Edison Wisconsin. I think the same thing occurred elsewhere. In key demographics the current executive seems to have increased his vote totals.

    Why:

    Russia fiasco
    Ukrainian fiasco
    Violent protests
    Immigration remains a prime mover

This was the executive election to lose and though he seems to have worked hard to do so — at the end of the day his opponents never capitalized on any policy short comings and they lost.

Rather than being an explicitly white party, having the Republicans espouse a political philosophy that the majority of whites agree with would have the same effect while still allowing non-whites who believe in that same philosophy to be members of that party. This party would follow in the tradition of the Founding Fathers who thought all men are created equal and have a right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

This would allow some of the Asians and Hispanics who voted Republican this time for the reasons you stated to stay in the Republican party along with any who believe in the founding principles of our country. For HBD reasons, blacks would do less well in a country run along these principles and be less likely to join such a party but it would still allow the “talented tenth” of blacks like Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams, Shelby Steele, John McWhorter, Larry Elder, Clarence Thomas, Candace Owens and so on to join this party and be welcomed into the party rather than being rejected just on the basis of skin color.

While it would not have prevented fraud. It would a solid source to gauge the process and mount some effective challenge. I think that makes sense. As for after election rallies to whip up enthusiasm after the election. Sounds a tad inviting for contentions for stirring up violent rebellion– which is exactly the what would have occurred and as the stage is being set now to bait opposition to the democrats.
