The store I worked at is in ‘Whitelandia” yet we had a huge “shrink’ problem. Most major retailers do. I was ‘called on the carpet’ twice and nearly fired for confronting thieves. The stores in better areas don’t even have “Loss Prevention” or “Security” guys employed.

All the theft/shrink is baked into the retail prices.

The Second Amendment DOES NOT give you the right to own a gun. The right to defend oneself, his / her family, property, and liberty is a God-given inalienable right. It is God Almighty who bequeaths us these rights at the time of our birth.

The Second Amendment protects our God-given inalienable rights to purchase, own, keep, store, carry, and USE firearms as a weapon of last resort against an out-of-control, despotic, totalitarian, federal leviathan (i.e., the federal government).

Saying that the Second Amendment “gives one the right to have a gun” is a dangerous statement. It is dangerous because it thus infers that a document–a piece of parchment, if you will–somehow confers rights to Americans.

If that were truly the case, the despotic, totalitarian federal leviathan could amend the Constitution of the United States of America to destroy that “right” (which, in reality, would only be a “privilege”).

Me thinks it is most likely more like a 17.2 IQ.
