I doubt if Anglin or any other dissident writer who praises the new Putin/Kim relationship, hate what the US once was, they hate what the US (and the west) has become. The politicians that misrule the US today, drool at the prospect of having powers that dictators have and are dismantling the US constitution bit by bit.

The blame for the extreme authoritarianism that is North Korea and the softer authoritarianism that Putin represents in Russia, can be laid directly at the door of the United States. In the case of Korea, the US should’ve left Korea to solve it’s own problems, the end result would’ve been a prosperous unified country with a much healthier demographic.

In the case of Russia, had the US just kept out of Russian and European affairs after 1990, Russia would’ve joined the EU and Nato which today would’ve probably have evolved into a mutual peace pact among all European nations. Russia would’ve been more prosperous, Europe would’ve had access to Russian resources to the benefit of all. Instead, the US has tried to destroy Russia, it ended up destroying Europe economically, has made Russia, China and North Korea allied and much stronger.

True, but with the meddling of the US in European affairs for the past 100 years, everything has been made worse. Russia is a natural ally of Germany, German knowhow and Russian labor and resources would’ve made them together one of the factories of the world, instead, with US interference, Germany is now an isolated has-been industrial power, with no resources, no energy of it’s own, with severe demographic problems. Russia has teamed up with China, and with the two of them working together, we’ll see an industrial juggernaut that the world has never seen before.

It’s an older article, but still relevant, and underscores the extent to which the US manipulates domestic Korean policies, aspirations and rapprochement, and sadly, the manner in which SKorea is arm-twisted into going along (even made to believe it does not have sovereignty over its own territory) in order to abide by “international rules” as interpreted and exploited by Washington for its self-serving benefit.
