There is technically still some possibility that the Elon Musk deal to purchase Twitter and reinstate freedom of speech could fall through, but this does not appear likely. What appears likely is that he is going to take over the company, and then probably be put in prison a few days or weeks later.

However, I am 100% behind him, whatever the case.

Ten years ago, I had a more or less negative view of Musk, which has become progressively more positive. I am still not sure of his alleged status as a genius, but at this point, I’m signed on all the way.

His most recent tweets show that this is headed in the exact right direction, in theory. What’s more: though I’ve previously criticized Musk for not being funny (actually, my main criticism, along with his refusal to open source his solution to male pattern baldness), he’s been on fire in terms of jokes and memes. That is to say: we are sensing that the Spirit of God moves in him.

Earlier this week, he tweeted about Donald Trump, implying he will be reinstated (and showing that he has Trump’s “Truth Social” installed on his phone).

That isn’t a direct confirmation that Trump is coming back – but his statements that he will allow all speech protected by the First Amendment is a confirmation Trump is coming back.

This meme from the infamous Tim Pool showdown with that fat Pakistani woman on the Joe Rogan Show is fantastic and accurate.

This tweet is confusing, but it just seems to be a throwaway statement on neutrality.

No one on the right ever calls for censorship of speech. Even the Nazis didn’t ban any speech before the war started (and as I explained yesterday, America also bans speech during any serious war). I guess people on the right might call for banning the porno on Twitter, but it’s already pretty hard to accidentally find porno on Twitter.

This is very good.

He wants all of this to be open source, too, so like Signal, you’ll be able to confirm the encryption. A lot of people use the Twitter DM system just because it is convenient, and there is probably a huge amount of blackmail material that the intelligence agencies have collected on there – various men getting drunk and sending dick pics and so on, you understand. Or simply engaged in flirtatious behavior. Frankly, after the Snowden revelations, any form of unencrypted communication should have been considered anathema by all normal people. But people are stupid.

This was funny.

It’s funny in itself but it’s also funny as an analogy for putting free speech back into Twitter – he is doing something both fun and dangerous.

Also: Trumpian McDonald’s populism.

An accurate meme.

Musk seems to be on the same page as Tim Pool, basically. Which is fine. Tim Pool is fine. The show can be kind of boring I guess, but I’ve never ended up watching a Tim Pool video and been outraged by anything (aside from Elon Musk’s refusal to open source his solution to MPB).

What matters first and foremost in all of society is freedom of speech. That’s really the only thing that matters in the age of the internet, because the internet democratized speech. That’s why it was shut down. This is a new thing, this idea that anyone can reach any sized audience from their room with a \$300 piece of machinery. It was the greatest thing ever before these people came on and censored.

The single reason that everything has gotten so completely out of control is censorship. Without this censorship, in an environment of democratized speech, the only thing that can eventually happen is that the best ideas triumph.

Remember: we’d only just figured out the hard facts of reality by 2012 or so. If you go back to the pre-/pol/ internet, you find that even though speech was free, it was basically very similar to the situation of shortwave radio, where there was some good stuff but it was filled with confusing and wrong narratives and information. On /pol/, people – primarily white male millennials from America and Western Europe – crowd-sourced the facts of reality, and came up with a pretty comprehensive vision of things.

If you go back to my earliest writings in the “far-right” sphere, you will no doubt find differences in my presentation and style – ups and downs and artistic changes – but in terms of the overarching worldview, nothing about my views has changed since becoming heavily engaged with /pol/ and their reading lists in 2012ish. So we then had that open period between 2012 and 2017, and during that period, we got Donald Trump elected. Whatever you want to say about Trump, he was a very big improvement from George W. Bush, in terms of right-wing politics, and if you had an improvement the size of Trump every cycle, you’d be living in a Na – in a serious Nationalist state within our lifetimes.

If Elon wants to take over America with a centrist version of vulgar populism, that’s fine with me. If we have the internet and free speech, a centrist vulgar populism is going to consistently move towards a right-wing vulgar populism.

Of course, I don’t think this is going to work. I think he’s probably going to prison. But hey – it would be pointless not to be optimistic when good things are happening right in front of you. I’m not privy to Elon’s Master Plan, but he must have one. Maybe it’s really good?

Musk is a Libertarian, not a MAGA Populist. Purchasing Twitter cannot make things worse, and may make them a little better. But it is not, by itself, a solution.

What is needed? A challenge to “Fascist Liberalism”. For example, 10-20 years dropping the banhammer on Leftoid fiction. Non-stop promotion of the TRUTH, such as busting the Big Lie that Not-The-President Biden won. All rational humans grasp that he lost.

There are a large number of Sheeple out there. Consistently presenting the TRUTH for 10+ years cannot make them think. However, it could cause the herd to move in a somewhat sensible direction.

  6. Emslander says:

After free speech, the next job is to have elections that are openly and provably legitimate. The two are most likely connected.

Most reasonable people are convinced by neutral public reports and visible recordings of cheating in the critical states, that the 2020 presidential election was fraudulent, and that Biden wasn’t legitimately elected. If that evidence were freely available to all reasonable people through the Musk media, then it won’t be too much more difficult to get consensus on ironclad election integrity reform.

  7. Cocaine back in Coca Cola….love him for that line alone. Thanks for this article. Apparently the gestapo, I mean Homeland Security, yesterday announced some sort of “disinformation authority” ….obviously they are targeting him already. The government, of course, is prohibited from any such thing, but the point of the Obama election was the elimination of the rule of law since he did not qualify to run for the office. The controllers have used the Democrat party ever since as the vehicle to dismantle law, replaced by “rules”.

The US government monitoring disinformation. If it were true, they’d be busy full time monitoring themselves.

  8. Just a giant “double speak” operation. Let’s consider the facts:

The EU has recently adopted the so-called ‘Digital Services Act’, a package of regulations designed to force social network platforms to police their content much more aggressively and to cooperate closer with regulators.

Every country has or will have something similar in effect.

So, quoting Musk, ““By ‘free speech’, I simply mean that which matches the law. I am against censorship that goes far beyond the law”.

“If people want less free speech, they will ask government to pass laws to that effect. Therefore, going beyond the law is contrary to the will of the people.”

So, if a Government passes a law such as “denying the Holocaust is illegal” (i.e. 16 European countries), any content pertaining to Holocaust denial will be banned/censored. You really think there will be free speech?

Also, the news from EU is that they will push back against even a modicum of free speech with the new “content regulations” that basically exclude everything that doesn’t parrot the official EU line:

    https://www.businessinsider.com/elon-musk-twitter-collision-course-with-eu-content-laws-2022-4?r=US&IR=T

    – Elon Musk said his version of Twitter will protect free speech but also abide by the law.
    – However, Twitter operates in the EU, which has imposed new rules on content moderation.
    – A clash between Musk’s idea of free speech and the EU regulations could hurt Twitter financially.

The argument against “democracy” in a nutshell. If people are so stupid that they can’t differentiate between crack-pots and charlatans vs legitimate ‘experts’ and other authorities, so stupid that they require a government institution to make the distinction for them and protect them from “misinformation” – then why are they considered competent to make decisions regarding who will be in charge of government, i.e. to vote? I’ve always found it hilarious the amount of money invested by American politicians in roadside signage during the election cycle. It stands to reason: If the signs didn’t influence voters’ decision making it would not be a cost effective campaign tactic. Therefore I can infer that the mere familiarity with a particular candidate’s name is enough to convince people to vote for that candidate. When they get to the ballot they look at the choices and think to themselves “Hey! I’ve seen that name on a sign on the side of the road. That’s my guy!” Yeah, this is a serious way to operate the government.

Yes, the more tag is supposed to be there. I want to see if it works as expected.

I am still not sure of his alleged status as a genius, but at this point, I’m signed on all the way.

Genius salesman. Obviously not entirely immune to salesmanship himself. Believes in global warming and AI risk and Obama and other such nonsense.

Though I suppose he could also be faking these beliefs because they sell well. He just comes off as naive to me, though, unless it’s about rockets, batteries, or securities law. Conquest #1.

That is to say: we are sensing that the Spirit of God moves in him.

    Quote for truth.

    This tweet is confusing

Musk is a naive centrist. Extremism in pursuit of justice is no vice.

Though it’s true that the particularly unjust always portray their defection as especially just – because duh, of course they would try it – the solution isn’t some fence-sitting middle ground. Moderation in pursuit of justice is most certainly a vice. There are no excuses, you have to actually figure out and know and understand justice.

Or Gnon will eat your lunch, and probably you along with it.

No one on the right ever calls for censorship of speech.

Rectify the names: “nobody on the right wants to subsidize some speech but not others.” There is no free lunch, and nor is there free speech. The only question is whether the internalities are externalized or not.

Nobody on the true right wants to subsidize any speech at all.

Ironically the Regressive Inquisition is forcing Anglin to pay for his speech, like a responsible adult. Letting most everyone else be an irresponsible child.

Frankly, after the Snowden revelations, any form of unencrypted communication should have been considered anathema by all normal people. But people are stupid.

But also because people are stupid they can’t use the panopticon against each other, so it is, ironically, mostly fine to treat DMs as private. Some exceptions of course, but life isn’t fair. Did anyone promise you it was?

It was the greatest thing ever before these people came on and censored.

This is narcissism. Universalizing the personally convenient. “I like it therefore it was pro-social.”

The single reason that everything has gotten so completely out of control is censorship.

Opposite of the case – reverse causation. Free speech is crazy speech and the lack of censorship is exactly what caused everything to go crazy. The censorship was a response…but of course it was a government response, they censored all the wrong things, as per Conquest’s Third (Iron) Law. The censorship accelerated the decay.

It’s not actually possible to censor. E.g. Gab is right over there. You guys could just use it. You don’t. The People must freely submit to the censorship – which is what they’ve done.

The genuine reason for crazy-inducing censorship is because the market demands crazy-inducing censorship. Vox dei: the People have Spoken. Supply is brought forth by demand.

Elon will actually have to fight the regular twitter user to make the platform effectively uncensored. If he does they will stop using it. If he doesn’t, this is just farming liberal tears. Great, sure, but ultimately irrelevant.

in an environment of democratized speech, the only thing that can eventually happen is that the best ideas triumph.

    lol

You yourself said people are stupid. In a subsidized market, stupid ideas dominate. You only get best ideas if there’s discipline. If you can see stupid people getting wrecked – e.g, censored.

In a genuine free market of ideas, speakers must be able to go bankrupt. Your “free” speech license can’t be free, and it has to be possible to revoke it if you invest poorly enough.

Whatever you want to say about Trump, he was a very big improvement from George W. Bush, in terms of right-wing politics

    lolno

Trump is a left-winger. America is a Fascist country and Fascism means far far far left. Hillary was far far far far left to Trump’s far far far left. Sure that’s going in the right direction but at this rate you’ll get to a non-suicidal state something like 150 years after you’re already dead.

Nationalism is also left-wing, by the way. It’s a lie. A scam which suggests you can be ruled by ideas like a “nation.”

Further, a lie to say that anyone has the right to rule for any reason. If you reject nationalism then nationalism is illegitimate for you in particular, and nobody can force it to be legitimate for you. If anyone is trying to force you to follow because of “Nationalism” it reveals it’s about the force, not the nationalism.

If they don’t have to force you to follow, then they don’t need nationalism, do they? You just like them.

    Nationalism is a scam, QED.

The electioneers themselves don’t think elections work. They refuse to submit to the A/B test.

Take a pair of twin cities. Run one as democratically as possible. Do everything democracies are supposed to do.
Do the other one…non-democratically. Instead, try to find the best governor who will accept the post of mayor, put them in charge, and let their word be law. Let them hire anyone they want for any reason, etc etc.

If the electioneers were telling the truth, they would think this test would only show the democratic city would be superior. If you ask them (e.g. in a blog comment section) they will tell you it would work better.

They won’t actually do it, though. They’ll fight tooth and nail to prevent anyone trying it. If there’s any actual risk of physical consequences to this rhetorical stance, they will hedge and stonewall and dodge and move the goalposts and generally show extreme mens rea.
I don’t think elections work. Electioneers don’t think elections work, as per their revealed preferences. Everyone thinks everyone should quit having elections; there is no genuine debate.

They know the comparison would be unfavourable, because it’s an intentional scam.

Of course electioneers are welcome to prove me wrong at any time. This is a falsifiable statement. Let’s try the anti-democratic city. Just one. Not a whole country. Just one. Call it a special economic zone.

How much do they love science? According to them, they “fucking” love science. Okay, let’s do some science then. Replicate the prediction. (Oh wait they’re just lying. Duh.)

He would be just like Jesus.

  42. Andreas says:

On the surface a Musk take-over seems like a positive development. The US is in desperate need to re-assert itself as being ideologically competitive with the rest of the world. A public commitment to the 1st Amendment by a high-profile US company like Tweeter would be highly symbolic. A demonstrable free-market of ideas where ideas are judged by their merit and veracity would give the US some credibility again. Of course there will have to be some standards of decency. It can’t become a stroll down shit street. But the extent to which counter-narratives and topics like mass-immigration, race and The Holocaust™ can be openly discussed will determine if this is about a return to principles or just controlled-opposition.

  43. I think he’s probably going to prison.

Is it too early for “Elon Musk didn’t kill himself?”

  44. bert33 says:

Put a pottymouth filter on the comment input side, edit/moderate NOTHING otherwise, and let er buck. Make people read the summary user agreement each time they sign on to twitter so that every participant understands the twitter company will not be pre-chewing their food for them from now on and they will be exposed to countervailing undiluted unsoftened opinions, facts of questionable pedigree and other mental indigestibles along with people using persuasion techniques, flat out lies and all the infohype and gandaspew the mainstream media can bring to bear. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK, TWITTER CO. NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR CONSEQUENCES BY PROCEDDING INTO THE WEBSITE YOU AGREE AND INDICATE THAT YOU UNDERSTAND THE ABOVE AND AGREE TO HOLD TWITTER HARMLESS etc

  45. @Sneed

we won. and it was better than anything some scumsucking-backstabbing-kidneyshanker of a lifetime politician would have done. and he did that with the entire dual coined DC cabal of scumsucking-backstabbing-kidneyshankers trying to cut him and thus our country down, every single day. the science says we would be on mars by now if they hadn’t fucked with donald. just saying.

  46. @Fidelios Automata

I’m with you on the concept of multiple classes of citizenship.

  47. @Not Important

Why the hell would he spend gorillions of shekels to buy Twitter only to have it stay the same or get worse?

ALL shekels earned through the stock market and not hard labor. What eles is Elon to do with this free money? Buy gold, a rocket or an electric sports car. Using it to buy a “social media” platform with reach isn’t bad investment. Consider the future advertising and brainwashing possibilities for the masses courtesy of Elon and company. It’s not about “free speech”. It’s about controlling perception according to Government Law .

Tailgating? Crimes against humanity. Shut it down immediately. Can’t have that.

Obviously democracy is a literally perfect system and any problem or cost, no matter how minor, is the result of not being democratic enough.

    @Mark G.

It’s hard to be perfectly insane.

Normally the general naivete and foolishness gives you a gestalt impression and you don’t remember the details. However, lately, the real go-getters have been putting in the work, really dedicating to leftism, and sounding completely batshit nutty. The regular naive and ignorant leftism sounds practically comfy by comparison.

That and leftist are almost always lying. However, getting outflanked to the left makes them start telling the truth a bit, to try to reign in their own extremism. Nobody genuinely thinks Communism is a good idea, not even Stalin or Pol Pot. They just think saying it’s a good idea might get them political power. And they’re not wrong, are they?

Here is what you goyim fail to understand. You need censorship to avoid divisive misunderstandings of complex matters.

Take this case. Here we have David Fishman, a crooked Jew bribed up the ass by Big Pharma, so what else is new? Now Fishman builds a mathematical model – with equations and everything, lots of them! And sigmas and all like greek shit, zappa crappa fu. Very complex, like the nakhba! So with this mathematical model Fishman proves purebloods are wiping out Pharma’s human lab rats with deadly COVID disease. Like a bunch of Typhoid Mary mics.

    https://jessicar.substack.com/p/call-for-retraction-of-paper-entitled?s=r

Problem is David Fishman maybe sucked a little too much Pharma cock, because he pulled a number out his ass. That’s the number Pharma wants but it’s the opposite of the way the world is. And it’s plain as the big hooky nose on your face that he gets straight Fs in crooked Jew Lies 101. As the Talmud says, there is nothin sadder than a dumb Jew, cause they like to think they’re superior beings who sacrifice you like livestock and shit.

Now imagine the Shoah when this dumb crooked Jew Fishman gets caught by a smart one, with human ethics and integrity instead of Talmudic genocidal cult doctrine. It is divisive for the very people who must stick together because the holocaust got Juliek’s violin wet or something and piles of decomposing flaming stiffs in snow and shit or whatever, anyway, we must stop the hate!!! Of dumb crooked Jews like David Fishman who are only smart enough to be in sales.

  51. Baba says:

Did you know Elon Musk believes we live in The Matrix? No I am not even kidding. He has said, and I quote

The odds of our existing in base reality is one in billions.

    He said on Rogan:

If you assume any rate of improvement at all, games will eventually be indistinguishable from reality…We’re most likely in a simulation.

He is not the only famous person to believe that, scientist Neil DeGrasse Tyson also promotes the idea that our world is a virtual world. Check it out Through The Quantum Looking Glass or: Buckle your seatbelt Dorothy, ’cause Kansas is going bye-bye

  52. This is going to set up a direct confrontation between Elon and the Jews. The ADL will hound him relentlessly about Nazis and Holocaust™ denial. The more friction between Elon and the Jews, the better.

  53. JWalters says:

One of the wonderful effects of Elon’s focus on freedom of speech is the stark reveal of people willing to say the most absurd, illogical and hypocritical things to serve their war profiteering, criminal masters.

Here’s comedian Jimmy Dore’s latest enjoyable takedown of such ridiculous criminal traitors to the Constitution.

oh my god, it would be like the iraqi highway of death, burned out bar-b-q’s stretching for miles. oh the humanity…..

    “…scientist Neil DeGrasse Tyson…”

If NDGT were White you’d never have heard of him and neither would anybody else. Affirmative action got him where he is. Everybody knows it too.
