No they are just character trait observations based on experience.

People of strong character don’t normally defend mass murdering dictators or scrub their own claims after being wrong. Lira claimed Russia wouldn’t invade and then later switched to the position that the war was a brilliant move. He doesn’t give very good analysis and is only liked because the pro-Putin contingent in the West has very few public supporters.

This case has massive red flags. His excuses for not trying to get into Russia don’t add up. There is no evidence that he ever tried to contact the state department to help with his health condition. He may not have deserved prison but he wasn’t telling his fans everything. Anglin provided the most likely explanation which is that he wanted to die. He most likely had a terminal condition and wanted to be arrested for the exposure. That would explain why he had double pneumonia. His immune system was probably shot.

When one of them boasted of eating body parts of a killed Syrian government soldier about six or seven years ago, the only thing I found remarkable was that it was actually reported in some of the Western MSM. They could easily have suppressed the fact that some of these fighters for democracy were closer to Hannibal Lecter than to Thomas Jefferson.
