This is the top of yesterday’s article about CBS’s “Arming Ukraine”
This is the top of yesterday’s article about CBS’s “Arming Ukraine”

At some point in the last 24 hours, following the blow-up of CBS’s “Arming Ukraine,” the entire thing has been memory holed completely.

In an article earlier today, I was trying to embed it in the article and it wasn’t appearing. I clicked through and found that the tweet had been deleted by the author.

I thought “well, maybe they just deleted the tweet because it was getting a bit too much heat.” So I searched around.

In fact, it has been set to private on YouTube:

And the page for the documentary on CBS now looks like this:

The only statement from CBS that I’ve been able to find is a three-tweet thread, saying that they’ve removed it because the US government told them it is wrong. They said they are going to edit it and rerelease it according to the standards of the US government.

This is quite a thing, and as far as I know, it is unprecedented in the history of the mainstream media. I’m sure you can find instances of newspapers dropping stories during World War II or something, but in terms of the internet age, this has never happened before, to my knowledge.

This is shocking, actually. I don’t understand how this documentary would get made, then get approved for release by the editorial team at CBS, and then be deleted when it went viral after the US government came out and said it was wrong. This is incredibly sloppy on the part of the US government. Removing something like this in such an unprecedented way only gives credence to what is being said in the documentary.

Thankfully for you, my dear reader, we have a copy.

Video Link

Who knows how long that will be up, so I advise watching it now.

The fact that the US government has denounced it as untrue, in my opinion, proves that it is true. Everything these people say is a lie.

More important than anything in that documentary, however, is this lesson: the media is banned from publishing anything that does not 100% agree with the official line of the US government. You have some things that get through here and there – particularly, those things associated with Tucker Carlson – but on the whole, the mainstream media is completely locked down, completely controlled by the US government, to a degree that is staggering.

I found this information 20 minutes ago, and I am still in shock that they not only deleted this on the request of the US government, but actually posted a tweet saying “the US government said we were wrong, so we’re deleting this.”

If I was the US government telling CBS News to delete something, I would say “just don’t say we told you to do it.” But I think on some level, they want people to know that the US government is actively censoring the media.

  1. See, what they meant to say was that 130% of US armaments are reaching the front lines. Yeah, that’s the ticket. That’ll work.

  2. “But I think on some level, they want people to know that the US government is actively censoring the media.”

That is the key point. The US government is proud to shove things like this in our faces. They revel in the dishonesty and gaslighting that they feel is so effective. It’s almost becoming the equivalent of a bully saying “yeah, so, whatta you gonna do about it?”.

  3. Bill H. says:

I quit watching when it made the following statement:

Ukraine and Russia have been at war since 2014, when Russia occupied Crimea and Russia-backed separatists occupied the Donbas region of Ukraine.

A statement which is a single short sentence containing no fewer than three outright lies suggests to me that what follows is highly unlikely to contain anything worth watching.

  6. What is interesting is that these foreigners are openly saying things like “We need to help the kill the Russians,” etc. They are not afraid to show their faces. They do not conceal their names.

Would they be so brave if they were arming the Arabs?

    Not likely.

They know that Mossad would find each and every one of them, and they would pay with their lives for it.

But the Russians – they let it be.

Who can understand them? It looks like everything they are doing they are doing the worst way possible.

They have that private militia, the Wagner group. The Americans immediately created the Mozart group. And what was the reaction of the Russians? They have renamed the Wagner group and now they call it something like A Union of Officers for Peace.

    Why are they so stupid?

Option 1: Some idiot journalist thought that CBS was a news organization, tried to report a fact or two. lol

Option 2: One of the Thousand Emperors took a shot at another Thousand Emperor.
Naturally the documentary was Heresy, so they have to shut it down, even though doing so Streisand’d the thing. If they leave it up, the voters think it’s Officially approved. Same as with Jones, come to think. Although they have to put him on blast to do the lawsuit, if they don’t do the lawsuit it reads as endorsement.

  8. CBS – Complete Bull Shit!

  9. The censorship and deletion must be part of all that US empire “democracy” and “freedom” propaganda.

“I found this information 20 minutes ago, and I am still in shock that they not only deleted this on the request of the US government, but actually posted a tweet saying “the US government said we were wrong, so we’re deleting this.””

This shocks you because you think, like many in The Unz Review, that the USA is totally under the same Zionistic Jews that you are sure control the Main Stream Media, like CBS. Therefore this thing cannot happen, but it did. What seems to have happened is that CBS did try to make pro-Russian propaganda and CBS as a part of MSM is under some control, but the USA does have its own geopolitical interests and it does not want pro-Russian propaganda at this moment. Therefore they vetoed. (They did have a reason as the document reflected a situation with nonlethal aid in April and was presented e.g. by you as reflecting the situation with US and other country weapon aid at this time moment, which is not what the document represented.)

In order to be published by CBS the video could not only be seen by some CNS journalist, who could be pro-Russian, but also by some responsible editor, who you surely say are Jewish. This again points out to the obvious fact that Jews would like Russia to win this war, but they still do not completely control the USA (or any part of the world, unlike this Jew celebrating website The Unz Review tries to claim).

  11. But I think on some level, they want people to know that the US government is actively censoring the media.

The woke are very much in favor of the US government censoring the media.

  12. The censorship was from all that US empire “democracy” and “freedom” propaganda.

  24. I am surprised that so many people who watched the video, including Anglin, saw it as in some sense running counter to the Standard Ukraine Narrative. To use a term that originated in the Nixon White House, I see it as embodying a limited hangout. It is a presentation that contains admissions of a sort that the presenters consider (1) not especially damaging in themselves but (2) containing great potential for massive manipulation of viewers, especially but by no means only sympathetic viewers.

Look at it from this perspective. Nowhere in the program is there even a suggestion that either the putatively limited war now being fought or the wider war that (((CBS))) and (((Washington))) desperately want embodies a strategic bungle or, far worse, a moral offense so grave as to permanently discredit both the (((Ukie leaders))) and those here in the USA who shill for them. What we are shown instead is a situation where carelessness or avarice or just Jews-being-Jews is putting America’s and Ukraine’s totally wonderful war aims—which plainly include destabilization (at the least) of Russia and removal of Putin from office or terrestrial life or both—into serious jeopardy.

Put otherwise, the video is the geopolitical equivalent of the Michigan State coach telling his offensive linemen that the team will never beat Ohio State unless they stop breaking training every afternoon at Cinnabon.

The pro-war tone, as several people have already noticed, is underlined by the very favorable slant shown toward the people who talk about how important it is to kill Russians. Being a Vietnam vet, I vividly recall how Dan Rather and everyone else in TV news used to show clips of battle-weary GIs talking about the VC and NVA as “the enemy,” a form of reference that invariably produced sneers of utter contempt and moral superiority from the newsies. In the CBS video, if one of the foul mercenaries or equally vicious Ukies had said “I love the smell of napalm in the morning,” we viewers would have been expected to nod solemnly and shed at least a tear or two.

In some ways, the thing I hated most about the video was the prissy Jap narrator—make that “narrative forwarder.” He reminded me of what my closest Vietnam buddy, a guy well placed in Military Intelligence, once told me about every “reporter” who came to Vietnam: “They’re all chicken shit. They never get more than twenty miles away from Saigon and they’re under heavy escort at all times. The army helps them stage all the firefights they report, and they’re back at the Overseas Press Club for drinks and dinner every day by 6 p.m. sharp.” He said that there was only one exception to that rule that he knew of for sure: “An Aussie or New Zealander called Arnett. The colonels and generals hate him, but the grunts like him. He never writes crap about them being killers.”

The prissy Jap wasn’t even ashamed to be seen as a complete coward in several sequences. Is this the best that fifty-seven years of nonwhite immigration can produce?

This video says it’s an internal ammo detonation.

The video says it was hit with a Javelin:
Ukrainian Armed Forces said they destroyed a Russian tank in Kharkiv Oblast using a Javelin missile, in dramatic video posted on August 6.

Yes the massive explosion is from the ammo cooking off. It’s called the jack in the box effect.

Kind of old news since we have seen so many Russian tanks explode that way.

It’s a dumb design where they favor auto-loading over keeping the ammo isolated.

In Western tanks the crew has a much better chance of escaping. In Russian tanks they are doomed to be another casualty for the loser dictator. Ukrainians know where to hit the tanks to increase the chance of a cook off.

And it’s most likely the 60% that didn’t make it to the front lines.

So send twice as much. Putin can no longer move his right arm and increased stress will affect his mental and physical health. That is what happened to Hitler after Stalingrad.

We will probably see a lot of Putin body doubles from this point on, especially after the last video with his limp arm.

  35. Face it: It is forbidden in the west to publish anything negative about the Ukraine. Thus we have the bizarre situation in which the msm has to blame the Russians for attacking their own prisoner of war camp and shelling a nuclear power station which they themselves have been in charge of since March.

The level of msm dishonesty is off the charts. All the outlets of western European and US “journalism” have been reduced to republishing Ukrainian and allied press releases.

I thought the msm could do no worse and sink no lower than when they lied to us about Saddam’s non existent WMD during the run up to Gulf War II. I was wrong about these shills. What we’ve got now is far more dishonest and far more dangerous since Russia is a nuclear weapons state.

The video may very well correctly describe the situation with nonlethal help sent to Ukraine in April. It is well known that Ukraine is the second most corrupted country in Europe, right after Russia, so we would expect corruption if help is delivered to the border of Ukraine and then handled by corrupted Ukrainians. What is pro-Russian propaganda is not the content of the video but the context: as the video is made in April and reflects the situation of a NCO bringing nonlethal help to Ukraine, basically to territorial troops, it does not reflect US or other country weapon help today given to Ukraine military especially as the USA already has taken measured to check where the weapons go.

Propaganda does not always mean lies. Better propaganda is not lies. It is staging the context so that the given message has the intended effect. That often means that thought the content is factually taken true, it is taken out of context and presented in another context so that it gets a different meaning. Surely you understand this, if you a bit think of it.

“Who was it again that funded the Bolshevik revolution, killed the Czar and all his family, banned the Russian Orthodox Church, and turned its houses of worship into brothels?”

Those were Communistic Jews. Then there are capitalistic Jews, Zionistic Jews, Israel Jews, some dissident Jews like maybe Run Unz, and other Jews. But they are all Jews and like to hang together and help each others. Putin is no Czar and Jews do not try to kill Putin. (If they would, would they not succeed?). Putin has many Jewish and part-Jewish friends. He is no antisemite. He is not against Israel. Why would Jews want Russia to lose?

Instead you have Ukraine. The president Zelensky is Jewish and The Unz Review commenters say that he was helped to power by the Jewish oligarch Kolomoisky, now residing in Israel. Kolomoisky funded the Azov battalion in order to create street fighting with Russian instigators from Crime. This is how a political conflict between Ukrainian and Russian speaking parts of the country was turned into a civil war. This conflict allowed Russia to capture Crime and later to set two separatist republics that Putin wants to annex to Russia. So, Kolomoisky on purpose helped to create an armed conflict that allowed Russia to send its soldiers to Ukraine (for some time it was denied that they were Russian soldiers, but that is what they were). As if must have been obvious to Kolomoisky that Russia is much stronger than Ukraine, creating an armed conflict where Russia sends soldiers to Ukraine can only have had one goal: that Russia takes control of Ukraine. This was confirmed recently: Kolomoisky in an interview said that Ukraine should give land area to Russia. Had Kolomoisky really wanted to help Ukraine to the West, he would not say so today. He would insist that Russia must leave Ukraine area. But he does not say so, he suggests that Ukraine would make a peace and give the occupied land to Russia. The only result from this would be that Russia rebuilds its army and in a few years takes the rest of Ukraine. Therefore Kolomoisky has all the time wanted Russia to annex Ukraine. That was the purpose of funding Azov. Why else would a Jew fund a neo-Nazi football hooligan group? It is a tool for some purpose. Zelensky may have originally thought the same way. He wrote to the Constitution a wish to join NATO. A Constitution is a law and not a place for such wishes. This was intentional provocation to Russia. Zelensky did not mobilize when Russian attack was practically certain. Maybe he initially wanted the same as Kolomoisky: that Russia would easily win. But it did not go so and now Zelensky is presented as an international hero and now he must fight for Ukrainian victory.

So, it is very possible that Jews caused this war. And it is very possible that their intention was that Russia would easily win (what other prediction there could have been of the outcome of Ukraine-Russia war?). And it is possible that Jews in Ukraine government wanted initially just this. But as it turned out, the USA did not want it to be so. Because the USA has also geopolitical interests and it does not want Russia to regain its lost position as the second superpower. And this American interest goes over any Jewish interests in this war.

The American government has standards for telling the truth? Is this something new?

Let me see if I have this straight: America is not at war and yet CBS is still seeking government approval for their stories anyway? Why?

Is this the result of a secret government edict? Or is this CBS’s way of openly admitting who really pays the bills and keeps them running?

Sixty years ago, Edward R. Murrow at least had the decency to resign from CBS first, before he accepted the position of head of the United States Information Agency. Now the American press holds their audience in such contempt, they cannot even be bothered with such fig leaves anymore, but do it all right out in the open.

Let’s hope after this the Americans are not so delusional as to think the rest of the world continues to look to them for the truth. If that ship hadn’t already sailed long ago, it certainly has now.

They desire a new home in a strong strategic location with access to the sea and good agribusiness land.

The nuclear power plant sits on the shore of a big lake formed by the dammed up Dneiper River. The Russkies hold the side with the power plant, the Ukrainians the other side. It has been common practice in this war for both sides to place artillery in schools, hospitals, shopping centers, etc., so when the inevitable counter battery fire arrives, you can run around with your hair on fire screaming about “war crimes”.

The Russians probably placed some artillery next to the plant, figuring the Ukrainians would be nuts to shell a nuclear power plant, and so, they could blaze away in safety. The Ukrainians probably went, “What the Hell, let’s go for it”.

And, here we are. War doesn’t have to make sense.

OK, you try to defend the idea that Jews have started this war in order to empty Ukraine of Ukrainians in order to move there and to establish the new Khazaria. Think about the following simple argument:
    – When this war started all military experts in the West and the East, and MSM, were sure that Russian will win this war and easily.
    – Therefore whoever wanted to start this war must have wanted Russia to win, as there was seen no way how Russia would not win.
    – Thus, if Jews started this war, then Jews wanted Russia to win and so easily that Ukraine would not have been emptied of any people.
    – Would Russia want to have new Khazaria in Ukraine that it would have annexed? Most probably not, they would just have it as a part of Russia as it has long time been. Therefore your idea of new Khazaria is fundamentally flawed.

The North shore of the Black Sea runs from Georgia to Turkey, Ukraine had very little ‘sea-shore’ once Russia allowed Crimea to secede from Ukraine and thereby control the Azov sea. However, they might as well occupy all the coast and give a land corridor to Transnistria to protect the Russian speaking Moldovians from retaliation.

You interpret the events in this war incorrectly, look at the start of the war. It started with a strategic strike. Almost all experts and MSM expected Ukraine to fall in the initial strategic strike. This was the Russian expectation, had it not been, they would not have tried a strategic strike in the beginning, it was the MSM expectation as they stated that Kiev falls in 72 hours. It was also the opinion of Pentagon and the British Intelligence, though they had trained Ukraine army. At this time of the initial strategic strike Ukraine had not got Western weapons that could have prevented the strategic strike, the weapons came only after Ukraine managed to stop the strategic strike. Therefore your explanation that Ukraine succeeded only because of USG aid is clearly incorrect. But from a non-expert like you, nothing but incorrect analyses can be expected. You should leave military analysis to people who know something of military issues.

There were military experts only from two countries who had the opinion that Ukraine will not fall fast. One country was Ukraine. Ukrainians have had very high confidence in their abilities all the time in this war, but this may be just the public view they gave, their generals may have been much less certain that they can stop the strategic strike. The other country was Finland. Finnish military analysts said in the beginning that Russia uses too small troops in order to take Ukraine. But also these experts believed that Russia will win, only after she deploys more troops. So, we can say that all, both in the West and in the East and in MSM believed that Russia will win this war and easily. Had the strategic strike succeeded, there had been no aid to Ukraine. The USA and the rest of the West would have simply concluded that Ukraine lost and there is nothing to do. The merit, all merit, goes to Ukraine, as it managed to stop the strategic strike and its army and airforces were not destroyed in the initial stage of this war. When Ukraine managed to mobilize, Russian chances of winning this war easily were lost. At this point Ukraine could use Western weapon aid and has used it successfully. But notice that Ukraine had not got any military aid if it had not succeeded the early stages of the war.

“The one nice thing about your rambling, incoherent posts is that a single passage can be randomly picked to demonstrate your stupidity. ”

I think words like “rambling, incoherent, stupidity” better characterize you than me. You, as it appears, do not have any understanding of war.

    – As we both know (heh) the Ukraine (like Taiwan) is roughly as independent as a tree two dogs are fighting over the right to piss on; all players are toads, the little homo is just a bit more off-putting than most. – The layout of the Nowaja Khazaria plan is simple enough … What is the nature of a Jewish State? The first-generation kibbutzniks may have actually believed Herzl´s promo (“to make the Jews a people like any other”) but its essence is a safe haven for oligarchs, fraudsters, pedos and their ill-gotten schab (this is called “property rights”). Currently the oligarchs, pedos and schab are flocking to Britain but plying Russia from London is getting old all the time; even in times of globalization location is important. You will remember that between the Wars their power centers were NYC, Odessa and Shanghai but with the exception of NY they were not safe enough. – To make Nowaja Khazaria safe, Russia has to be antagonized (= no extradition). Now Israel can not antagonize Russia (they want Russian oil, diamonds and restraint in Syria; besides to profit from a war you have to play both sides). The logical way is to naqba the asphalt proles of the Donbass – a recalcitrant and unreliable rabble with family ties throughout Eurasia (can´t have competition). – The point this dandy plan went off the rails was when Vlad Vladimirovich (pbuh) took the Crimea; their mistake was to assume to Him (like to them) Crimea was dachas, beaches and fake champagne – while to Vlad it was Sewastopol (built, incidentally, by the much and unjustly (((maligned))) Prince Potemkin – like Dniepropetrowsk). From the start Nowaja Khazaria was to encompass Lemberg, Odessa and the Crimea (for the dachas), and to hell with the rest*; “losing” the Donbass would amount to little – steel ain´t what it used to be.

    – And that´s how we ended up here 😉

*Some often brought up points include Talmudic intent to lord it over an army of enserfed muschiks … I think that´s ephemeral, though they already have “bought” up 70% of the arable land; and contrary to popular belief only a tiny minority of psychos really care about the graves of sundry rebbes – though the pilgrimages are a nonnegligible economic factor.

The only group making the claim that Russia planned to capture Kiev is the USG. You engage in circular reasoning by claiming it must have been strategic otherwise the Russians wouldn’t have moved on Kiev.

What did start immediately were the sanctions on Russia, which have failed miserably. Then they went with plan B, which was to prop up the Ukrainian government and prolong the war as long as possible. There effectively is no Ukrainian state, it’s entirely run by the US State Department.

I suspect that when this all over we may very well find that Ukraine lost more tanks destroyed or captured than Russia despite the MSM and Ukraine giving the entirely opposite impression.

Not possible since Russia initially tossed out a huge wave of T-72s while Ukraine was fighting with NLAWS and Javelins.

Russia pretty much sent out all their older tanks in storage.

    Ditto for casualties.

Casualties will be high on both sides. Hoo-ray for the loser dictator and all the White families he destroyed for his wargames.

You mix up things. When you say “Russians moved on Kiev” you mean the second stage of the war: the land attack on Kiev and Kharkiv. I spoke of the strategic strike that happened as the first stage of the war. A strategic strike is an airstrike (Russians made it mainly with helicopters) aiming to destruction the defense possibilities of the country. The goal is about 60% destruction of armed forces, command structure and critical infrastructure. A strategic strike normally includes taking the capital (as it usually is the center of gravity) with an air-borne unit, which lands close to the capital and enables a larger unit to land and take the capital in a few days. A strategic strike, when it succeeds, is a fast and relatively bloodless for civilians, the country is taken over in days or weeks. Russian did exactly this strategic strike scenario. It is one of their main attack scenarios.

The attack failed: Russian special forces (spetsnaz) lost to Ukraine forces and the expected landing on the Antonov airport did not take place in time (later Russians took Antonov, but it was already destroyed by Ukraine). The effort to destroy the defense forces also failed: 42/98=43% of fighter jets were destroyed in this first stage of the war (2-3 weeks), air defense was weakened but not destroyed, some 300 tanks (and quite much other stuff) were destroyed. That is not bad, but turned out to be too little, Ukraine army remained quite capable of military operations.

Goals of the initial strategic strike were not met. Therefore we saw the move by Russia on Kiev as the second stage of the war.

I will not discuss military operations with you as I have explained these things in The Unz Review in another thread months ago. Read some book if you want to study the topic.

In case you still do not believe that the first stage of the war was a strategic strike with no plan of land invasion towards Kiev and other cities, read this:
    https://www.ukrinform.net/rubric-ato/3548004-russia-went-for-feb-24-invasion-before-forming-strike-groupings-reznikov.html

In this post Ukrainian (civilian) defense minister tells how Ukraine General Staff explained to him that Russia started the attack in 24. Feb. without having formed grouping necessary for military invasion by land (this necessary grouping including field hospitals and all necessary for a war, including of course supplies, Russians did not have enough ammunition and food as they did not expect a long campaign). This was exactly because there was not going to be an need for heavy fighting: it was to be a strategic strike, Ukrainians were not expected to put up much resistance. Russians would destroy Ukraine army by the strategic strike of helicopters (demilitarization), take Kiev and replace the government (denazification). But as this plan failed, they started a land invasion without being fully prepared for it. This is why it failed. But the Donbass cauldron idea failed largely because Ukraine got Western weapons (they had used most of their ammunition for their old Soviet-era howitzers and badly needed Western howitzers). Consequently, the attack towards Kiev was not any false attack, shaping of the battleground. It was a real attack to the center of gravity, but as the attack was improvised, Russian logistics was not prepared for it, so they failed.

Putin doesn’t understand the modern economy and the threat of brain drain. You can’t just chase out Russians that have advanced degrees. They’ll move to nearby states and command high salaries. It isn’t like the Soviet Union where they can be locked in.

He also doesn’t understand how their manufacturing is dependent on US and German imports. When those parts break they can’t just replace them with new ones from China. Putin seems to be unaware of how much advanced manufacturing is US/German design. The Russians can’t just “make do” as if they are making meat pockets or AK-47s.

But keep cheering your little half pint dictator who wears shoe steppers. You will eventually feel like a complete jackass for supporting him as will the last dozen or so defenders on Unz. Hey dumb-ass, it’s irrelevant what India et al think about the war or Putin, what matters is that they’re not going to idiotically destroy their economies and societies over it like the US and Western Europe.

And no one denies the sanctions have hurt, what is obvious through is that they’ve utterly failed in their intent to bring Russia to its knees. They’ve also boomeranged and hammered the only countries who actively opposed the war. Europe is freaking out about curtailment of Russian gas, and it’s the middle of summer! What the fuck are they gonna do when they freeze this winter? The German government recently admitted this has the possibility for major civil unrest. I’d say that’s a tad more serious than a mild downturn that Russia is experiencing. Russian society can tolerate hardship a lot better than the US/EU.
