If the hohols were smart, they would be begging Trump to let them keep parts of their shithole.

Ukrainians in Kyiv were left bewildered and frustrated on Tuesday after US President Donald Trump suggested their country “may be Russian someday”.
Addressing Moscow’s nearly three-year invasion in a Fox News interview aired Monday, Trump said of Ukraine: “They may make a deal, they may not make a deal. They may be Russian someday, or they may not be Russian someday.”
“It is some kind of senile insanity,” Kyiv resident Daniil told AFP.
“He just wants to stand out somehow,” he added, suggesting Trump was attempting a different approach to previous mediators on ending the war.
Others questioned the US leader’s grasp of the conflict.
“Trump does not know at all what Russia and Ukraine are, and the relationship between Russians and Ukrainians,” said Sergiy Prokofiev, another resident of the capital.
“His assistants… probably present to him some not-very-true opinion about our situation.”
The Kremlin seized on Trump’s remarks, saying that the situation in Ukraine “largely corresponds” with his words.
“The fact that a significant part of Ukraine wants to become Russia, and has already, is a fact,” spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters, referring to Moscow’s 2022 annexation of four Ukrainian regions.
It is already a fact and the hohols should not want it to become a bigger fact.
But they refuse to act normal.
They are a global scourge.

If the hohols were smart, they wouldn’t have supported the 2014 coup and the occupation regime that was installed in that coup.
If they were smart, they wouldn’t have listened to Boris Johnson in April 2022.

There are some peculiarities with Ukie nationalism. It seems to only exist as opposition to Moscow. Somewhat like Scots and Westminster, (yet the Scots take joy in taking the first question in the House of Commons anyway). That’s not a stable national identity.

During his podcast, an American journalist expressed dissatisfaction with the fact that many Ukrainian refugees squander American money for free.
“Last weekend I had a meeting at a ski resort in the Alps. The whole city is full of Ukrainians. They enter the air maze and spend one million dollars a day. And so it is all over Europe. You can see that the richest people are Ukrainians. The money is ours. They belong to me, to you, and to every other American taxpayer,” Carlson says indignantly.
He also recalled that the Ukrainian military sells half of the military equipment supplied by the United States, including by drug cartels on the US border. In his opinion, the CIA is also profiting from this.
It’s such a fuck’n racket. Literally millions are dead for conflicts that make blood sucking devils rich while we bleed out taxes and our future to support the cockroaches in Washington D.C. and the Federal judges who enact rules to prevent us from getting to the bottom of the rot.

At the start of the Russo-Ukrainian civil war a Ukrainian I know told me that everyone in the East was Russian anyway. That’s how this war was always going to end, the East is going to be Russian. Shame Nato wanted to use up its old equipment before letting it happen, but generals and the MIC have never really cared about the men fed into the meat grinder.
Trump doesn’t ‘hold the future of Ukraine in his hands’ — if anyone does, it’s Putin.
However I have sympathy for the Ukrainians vis-a-vis the bombast coming from Trump.
But Ukrainians can relax, the future of their country (in some form) is assured, if not the current government — Putin does not want to eliminate Ukraine, he wants to put an end to the ethnic conflict in the eastern part of Ukraine that has been ongoing since 2014 — and it had become clear there was no way to do that other than end rule from Kiev over that region — that’s the whole reason for the SMO.
Personally, I don’t see why Putin is willing to talk to Trump at all — as a nation, the US provided weapons and strategic assistance used to kill tens of thousands of Russian soldiers and greatly prolong the war — given that level of direct hostility, and the heavy human cost Russia has already paid, I don’t think Putin can politically afford any compromise with the US on Ukraine — Putin has a domestic constituency, and there are many people in Russia who are significantly more hardline than Putin is.
Putin should tell Trump he can help end the war sooner in one of two ways: 1) convince Ukraine to end hostilities and withdraw from the disputed territory, or 2) stop all military and financial aid to the Kiev regime.
Where is the tank gone? Where the driver? Where the quartermaster?
Where are the seats in the mess? Where are the parties at the officers club?
