“Missing the forest for the trees” is an apt metaphor if we take a look at most commentary describing the past twenty years or so. This period has been remarkable in the number of genuinely tectonic changes the international system has undergone. It all began during what I think of as the “Kristallnacht of international law,” 30 August September 1995, when the Empire attacked the Bosnian-Serbs in a direct and total violation of all the most fundamental principles of international law. Then there was 9/11, which gave the Neocons the “right” (or so they claimed) to threaten, attack, bomb, kill, maim, kidnap, assassinate, torture, blackmail and otherwise mistreat any person, group or nation on the planet simply because “we are the indispensable nation” and “you either are with the terrorists or with us“. During these same years, we saw Europe become a third-rate US colony incapable of defending even fundamental European geopolitical interests while the US became a third-rate colony of Israel equally incapable of defending even fundamental US geopolitical interests. Most interestingly looking back, while the US and the EU were collapsing under the weight of their own mistakes, Russia and China were clearly on the ascend; Russia mostly in military terms (see here and here) and China mostly economically. Most crucially, Russia and China gradually agreed to become symbionts which, I would argue, is even stronger and more meaningful than if these two countries were united by some kind of formal alliance: alliances can be broken (especially when a western nation is involved), but symbiotic relationships usually last forever (well, nothing lasts forever, of course, but when a lifespan is measured in decades, it is the functional equivalent of “forever”, at least in geostrategic analytical terms). The Chinese have now developed an official, special, and unique expression to characterize that relationship with Russia. They speak of a “Strategic, comprehensive partnership of coordination for the new era.”

This is the AngloZionists’ worst nightmare, and their legacy ziomedia goes to great lengths to conceal the fact that Russia and China are, for all practical purposes, strategic allies. They also try hard to convince the Russian people that China is a threat to Russia (using bogus arguments, but never-mind that). It won’t work, while some Russians have fears about China, the Kremlin knows the truth of the matter and will continue to deepen Russia’s symbiotic relationship with China further. Not only that, it now appears that Iran is gradually being let in to this alliance. We have the most official confirmation possible of that fact in words spoken by General Patrushev in Israel after his meeting with US and Israeli officials: “Iran has always been and remains our ally and partner.”

I could go on listing various signs of the collapse of the AngloZionist Empire along with signs that a new, parallel, international world order is in the process of being built before our eyes. I have done that many times in the past, and I will not repeat it all here (those interested can click here and here). I will submit that the AngloZionists have reached a terminal stage of decay in which the question of “if” is replaced by “when.” But even more interesting would be to look at the “what”: what does the collapse of the AngloZionist Empire really mean?

I rarely see this issue discussed and when it is, it is usually to provide all sorts of reassurances that the Empire will not really collapse, that it is too powerful, too rich and too big to fail and that the current political crises in the US and Europe will simply result in a reactive transformation of the Empire once the specific problems plaguing it have been addressed. That kind of delusional nonsense is entirely out of touch with reality. And the reality of what is taking place before our eyes is much, much more dramatic and seminal than just fixing a few problems here and there and merrily keep going on.

One of the factors which lures us into a sense of complacency is that we have seen so many other empires in history collapse only to be replaced pretty quickly by some other, that we can’t even imagine that what is taking place right now is a much more dramatic phenomenon: the passage into gradual irrelevance of an entire civilization!

But first, let’s define our terms. For all the self-aggrandizing nonsense taught in western schools, Western civilization does not have its roots in ancient Rome or, even less so, in ancient Greece. The reality is that the Western civilization was born from the Middle-Ages in general and, especially, the 11th century which, not coincidentally, saw the following succession of moves by the Papacy:

These three closely related events are of absolutely crucial importance to the history of the West. The first step the West needed was to free itself from the influence and authority of the rest of the Christian world. Once the ties between Rome and the Christian world were severed, it was only logical for Rome to decree that the Pope now has the most extravagant super-powers no other bishop before him had ever dared contemplate. Finally, this new autonomy and desire for absolute control over our planet resulted in what could be called “the first European imperialist war”: the First Crusade.

To put it succinctly: the 11th century Franks were the real progenitors of modern “Western” Europe and the 11th century marked the first imperialist “foreign war” (to use a modern term). The name of the Empire of the Franks has changed over the centuries, but not its nature, essence, or purpose. Today the true heirs of the Franks are the AngloZionists (for a truly superb discussion of the Frankish role in desotrying the true, ancient, Christian Roman civilization of the West, see here).

ORDER IT NOW

Over the next 900 years or more, many different empires replaced the Frankish Papacy, and most European countries had their “moment of glory” with colonies overseas and some kind of ideology which was, by definition and axiomatically, declared the only good (or even “the only Christian”) one, whereas the rest of the planet was living in uncivilized and generally terrible conditions which could only be mitigated by those who have always believed that they, their religion, their culture or their nation had some kind of messianic role in history (call it “manifest destiny” or “White man’s burden” or being a Kulturträger in quest of a richly deserved Lebensraum): the West Europeans.

It looks like most European nations had a try at being an empire and at imperialist wars. Even such modern mini-states like Holland, Portugal or Austria once were feared imperial powers. And each time one European Empire fell, there was always another one to take its place.

But today?

Who do you think could create an empire powerful enough to fill the void resulting from the collapse of the AngloZionist Empire?

The canonical answer is “China.” And I think that this is nonsense.

Empires cannot only trade. Trade alone is simply not enough to remain a viable empire. Empires also need military force, and not just any military force, but the kind of military force which makes resistance futile. The truth is that NO modern country has anywhere near the capabilities needed to replace the US in the role of World Hegemon: not even uniting the Russian and Chinese militaries would achieve that result since these two countries do not have:

1) a worldwide network of bases (which the US have, between 700-1000 depending on how you count)

2) a major strategic air-lift and sea-lift power projection capability

3) a network of so-called “allies” (colonial puppets, really) which will assist in any deployment of military force

But even more crucial is this: China and Russia have no desire whatsoever to become an empire again. These two countries have finally understood the eternal truth, which is that empires are like parasites who feed on the body which hosts them. Yes, not only are all empires always and inherently evil, but a good case can be made that the first victims of imperialism are always the nations which “host the empire” so to speak. Oh sure, the Chinese and the Russians want their countries to be truly free, powerful and sovereign, and they understand that this is only possible when you have a military which can deter an attack, but neither China nor Russia have any interests in policing the planet or imposing some regime change on other countries. All they really want is to be safe from the US, that’s it.

This new reality is particularly visible in the Middle-East where countries like the United States, Israel or Saudi Arabia (this is the so-called “Axis of Kindness”) are currently only capable of deploying a military capable of massacring civilians or destroy the infrastructure of a country, but which cannot be used effectively against the two real regional powers with a modern military: Iran and Turkey.

But the most revealing litmus test was the US attempt to bully Venezuela back into submission. For all the fire and brimstone threats coming out of DC, the entire “Bolton plan(s?)” for Venezuela has/have resulted in a truly embarrassing failure: if the Sole “Hyperpower” on the planet cannot even overpower a tremendously weakened country right in its backyard, a country undergoing a major crisis, then indeed the US military should stick to the invasion of small countries like Monaco, Micronesia or maybe the Vatican (assuming the Swiss guard will not want to take a shot at the armed reps of the “indispensable nation”). The fact is that an increasing number of medium-sized “average” countries are now gradually acquiring the means to resist a US attack.

So if the writing is on the wall for the AngloZionist Empire, and if no country can replace the US as imperial world hegemon, what does that mean?

It means the following: 1000 years of European imperialism is coming to an end!

This time around, neither Spain nor the UK nor Austria will take the place of the US and try to become a world hegemon. In fact, there is not a single European nation which has a military even remotely capable of engaging the kind of “colony pacification” operations needed to keep your colonies in a suitable state of despair and terror. The French had their very last hurray in Algeria, the UK in the Falklands, Spain can’t even get Gibraltar back, and Holland has no real navy worth speaking about. As for central European countries, they are too busy brown-nosing the current empire to even think of becoming an empire (well, except Poland, of course, which dreams of some kind of Polish Empire between the Baltic and the Black Sea; let them, they have been dreaming about it for centuries, and they will still dream about it for many centuries to come…).

Now compare European militaries with the kind of armed forces you can find in Latin America or Asia? There is such a knee-jerk assumption of superiority in most Anglos that they completely fail to realize that medium and even small-sized countries can develop militaries sufficient enough to make an outright US invasion impossible or, at least, any occupation prohibitively expensive in terms of human lives and money (see here, here and here). This new reality also makes the typical US missile/airstrike campaign pretty useless: they will destroy a lot of buildings and bridges, they will turn the local TV stations (“propaganda outlets” in imperial terminology) into giant piles of smoking rubble and dead bodies, and they kill plenty of innocents, but that won’t result in any kind of regime change. The striking fact is that if we accept that warfare is the continuation of politics by other means, then we also have to admit, that under that definition, the US armed forces are totally useless since they cannot help the US achieve any meaningful political goals.

The truth is that in military and economic terms, the “West” has already lost. The fact that those who understand don’t talk, and that those who talk about this (denying it, of course) have no understanding of what is taking place, makes no difference at all.

In theory, we could imagine that some kind of strong leader would come to power in the US (the other western countries are utterly irrelevant), crush the Neocons like Putin crushed them in Russia, and prevent the brutal and sudden collapse of the Empire, but that ain’t gonna happen. If there is one thing which the past couple of decades have proven beyond reasonable doubt is that the imperial system is entirely unable to reform itself in spite of people like Ralph Nader, Dennis Kucinich, Ross Perrot, Ron Paul, Mike Gravel or even Obama and Trump – all men who promised meaningful change and who were successfully prevented by the system of achieving anything meaningful. Thus the system is still 100% effective, at least inside the US: it took the Neocons less than 30 days to crush Trump and all his promises of change, and now it even got Tulsi Gabbard to bow down and cave in to Neocons’ absolutely obligatory political orthodoxy and myths.

So what is likely to happen next?

Simply put, Asia will replace the Western World. But – crucially – this time around no empire will come to take the place of the AngloZionist one. Instead, a loose and informal coalition of mostly Asian countries will offer an alternative economic and civilizational model, which will be immensely attractive to the rest of the planet. As for the Empire, it will very effectively disband itself and slowly fade into irrelevance. Both US Americans and Europeans will, for the very first time in their history, have to behave like civilized people, which means that their traditional “model of development” (ransacking the entire planet and robbing everybody blind) will have to be replaced by one in which these US Americans and Europeans will have to work like everybody else to accumulate riches. This notion will absolutely horrify the current imperial ruling elites, but I wager that it will be welcomed by the majority of the people, especially when this “new” (for them) model will yield more peace and prosperity than the previous one!

Indeed, if the Neocons don’t blow up the entire planet in a nuclear holocaust, the US and Europe will survive, but only after a painful transition period which could last for a decade or more. One of the factors which will immensely complicate the transition from Empire to “regular” country will be the profound and deep influence 1000 years of imperialism have had on the western cultures, especially in the completely megalomaniac United States (Professor John Marciano’s “Empire as a way of life” lecture series addresses this topic superbly – I highly recommend them!): One thousand years of brainwashing are not so easily overcome, especially on the subconscious (assumptions) level.

Finally, the current rather nasty reaction to the multi-culturalism imposed by the western ruling elites is no less pathological than this corrosive multi-culturalism in the first place. I am referring to the new theories “revisiting” WWII and finding inspiration in all things Third Reich, very much including a revival of racist/racialist theories. This is especially ridiculous (and offensive) when coming from people who try to impersonate Christians but who instead of prayers on their lips just spew 1488-like nonsense. These folks all represent precisely the kind of “opposition” the Neocons love to deal with and which they always (and I really mean always) end up defeating. This (pretend) opposition (useful idiots, really) will remain strong as long as it remains well funded (which it currently is). But as soon as the current megalomania (“We are the White Race! We built Athens and Rome! We are Evropa!!!”) ends with an inevitable faceplant, folks will eventually return to sanity and realize that no external scapegoat is responsible for the current state of the West. The sad truth is that the West did all this to itself (mainly due to arrogance and pride!), and the current waves of immigrants are nothing more than a 1000 years of really bad karma returning to where it came from initially. I don’t mean to suggest that folks in the West are all individually responsible for what is happening now. But I do say that all the folks in the West now live with the consequences of 1000 years of unrestrained imperialism. It will be hard, very hard, to change ways, but since that is also the only viable option, it will happen, sooner or later.

But still – there is hope. IF the Neocons don’t blow up the planet, and IF mankind is given enough time to study its history and understand where it took the wrong turn, then maybe, just maybe, there is hope.

I think that we can all find solace in the fact that no matter how ugly, stupid and evil the AngloZionist Empire is, no other empire will ever come to replace it.

In other words, should we survive the current empire (which is by no means certain!) then at least we can look forward to a planet with no empires left, only sovereign countries.

I submit that this is a future worth struggling for.

what does the collapse of the AngloZionist Empire really mean?

It means civil war, very likely nuclear civil war

  3. The youth now slowly gaining political agency in the Empire hold the key. Most of them seem to be as tired of it as we are, and are seeking a new model of civilization. It’s up to us to empower them as much as we can.

Well, the number one factor keeping empire in a hegemonic stance is the hegemonic U.S. dollar. The empire isn’t going anywhere as long as the dollar remains as the worlds reserve currency. Most of planetary trade goes through Brussels and Wall Street denoted in dollars. Most of the credit cards carried and used around the world are SWIFT creations.

How and where this will change will be more telling than where the military loses its last battle.

  5. Tom67 says:

A usual tour de force by the Saker. But one can see things also very differently.
    – Western Imperialism: the Holy Roman Empire never had any colonies. Nor did any of the Eastern European states. Nor did the Italians states save for the farcical attempts of Mussolini
    – Whas the Turkish empire also due to the Frankish imperialistic popish impulse?
    – What the Saker is talking about here are basically GB, France and Holland.
    – What about the Russian Empire? What was it but a colonial enterprise? And will rump Russia endure? I have my doubts. Putin ended the Chechen war by giving Chechnya de facto if not de jure self governance. Right now things are okey dokey as Russia is bribing Kadyrov and Kadyrov and Putin having a special personal relationship. But what if circumstances change? Putin not being there any more and some new Russian government tries to enforce its writ in Chechnya? On top there is the birthrate in the Caucasus which is two times the Russian birthrate. Will all those different nationalities still feel bound to Russia in the future? And will Russians be willing to subsidise the Caucasus for ever?
    – The “symbiosis” between Russia and China is laughable. As soon as the Anglo-Zionist empire really collapses the differences between Russia and China will come to the fore. To get China´s help after the Ukraine crisis Russia had to give China a free hand in Mongolia. Before Russia had always seen to it that Mongolia didn´t get to dependent on China. Half of the foreign exchange of Mongolia was earned by the Russian-Mongolian copper mine of Erdenet. Three years ago Russia sold its share in Erdenet. By now Erdenet has been pledged by Mongolias venal politicians as collateral for Chinese loans.
Also China has certainly never forgot that the Russian far East was part of the Qing empire until the 1850s.Tthis will be brought up again as soon as Russia is sufficiently weak.
Russia was forced into the alliance with China by the West. The only industrial sphere where Russia does indeed have world class expertise is in armaments. After Ukraine Russia was forced to share its technology with China. And China will definately put this new knowledge to good use and in the not so far future overtake Russia in this particular field of expertise. Then watch what will happen.
    – China not interested in old fashioned imperial politics. That is laughable as well. China has a base in Ceylon now that they got as collateral for a loan that Ceylon couldn´t repay. China is laying claim to the whole South China sea and even parts of the 200 mile zones of countries like the Philipines, Indonesia and Vietnam. To back up these claims with military muscle they build navy bases all over the Spratley islands
    – China is getting more and more carbon hydrates through pipelines from Central Asia. At the same time it is mass imprisoning its Turkic population (Uyghus, Kazakhs and Kirgiz). The way the Chinese treat those people is exactly racist in the way the Saker has described the European relationship to the rest of the world. If you are a businessman in any one of those countries you will not be allowed to interact with people of the same faith, culture and almost the same language who live just across the border in Xinjiang. The Chinese government has seen to the fact that any member of those minorities lives in mortal fear of any contact with foreigners. Any business must now be conducted only with ethnic Chinese. And as as a Kirghiz or Kazakh national you are not distuingishable from a Kirgiz or Kazakh from Xinjiang you will suffer the same indignities as them when you travel to Xinjiang.
As venal and corrupt as the elites of the “Stans” might be: even they perceive Chinese actions in neighbouring Xinjiang as so grossly offensive that they hardly hide their disdain anymore. In fact I talked to a journalist last week who was present at the latest SCO gathering in Bishkek. She was astonished at the level of Sinophobia she accountered.
So on the one hand China is in the process of acquiring more and more of the ressources of the Stans. But on the other hand it is worsening its relationship with the peoples of these countries.
The Stans are still ruled by the same Soviet nomenklatura. There has been no real change. The question is how stable this arrangement is. It definately fits the requirement of the Chinese but the longer this lasts the more the elites of the Stans are coming between China and their own population.
China is well aware of this. To protect its investment it might have to use force in the future. And that is what I expect to happen in case one of those pipelines is interrupted. Not so different from what the West is doing in the Middle East. All that talk of the Saker about “good” and “bad” civilisations and promised land once the Anglo-Zionist ascendancy is over is just that: empty words.
In reality Nitzsche is still right: States are the coldest of cold monsters.

This entity you call empire , has been preparing for this event for centuries.
They are telling it in our face directly , ” new world order”, ” full spectrum domination”
They have what nobody else has , a proactive plan, a global network of military bases, and
the scariest part is the fact , that they have no moral barriers to say that, it is not going to be a fair fight. No hold barred ! No laws ! No rules of engagement! The end justifies the means !
On the end they will not win in fact nobody will .
But the old must die for the new to be .
Our desire to become brought us to this point , it was an exiting ride , but the new humans

That is not a silly hope , that is logic based clearly on design.

-This is total nonsense, and it seems to be pushed mainly by anti-whites, that hate western Europe racially and fantasies that Russia is somehow not white but Asians and should, therefore in their view, ally with their racial brethren. Despite the fact that you cannot tell a Russian from Swede.

Reality is however not as merciful as these anti-white racists imagination. Firstly Russia has nothing in common with Russia. Not race, not religion not culture, not history nor culture. What is even more important is that Russia economically has very little in common with China. Russia entire economic infrastructure is located in the European parts of Russia, most of her industries and geared towards Europe, everything from roads to rails to pipes. Most of her population centers if in the European part of Russia. It is for example not even profitable for Russia to sell gas from the Caucasus to China because the transportation routes are too long.

While Russia and China touch borders, it is basically an entire world away from Russia important economic areas. And it is only the most backward underdeveloped areas of both countries that are in contact. While most of Russias economic infrastructure is in European Russia.

There is simply not really even really any potential between Russia and China. The reason Russia and China are developing a stronger relationship now is purely due to artificial reasons. due to the pressure from the USA and her clients.

Russia does have double helix potential, however. And Putin knows that too, but not with China. But with W.Europe and Germany specifically. Putin knows this as well and calls those plans “Greater Europe”. Creating an economic union with Germany, which Russia genetically, culturally, religiously and more important demographically and economically already is strongly connected with.

“In several occasions since 2001 Vladimir Putin has raised the concept of ‘Greater Europe’, a partly-integrated common space”
    https://www.osw.waw.pl/en/publikacje/osw-studies/2013-10-14/greater-europe-putins-vision-european-dis-integration

The entire point of the Ukraine conflict was to drive a wedge between the most natural allies in the world. Russi and Germany. Together they would form the most powerful economic block on earth. This is USA greatest fear. If such a union were to happen the USA empire would collapse by itself. Luckily for USA, they succeeded in impeding Putin’s Greater Europe plans and now is forcing Russia to work with the very ill-fitting Chinese.

-You are severely confused. Any talk of racial theories in the western world is banned and refered to as “hate” and a white person in the west that talks about race is lucky if she he does not go to prison instantly. Revising history and racial theories only exists in E.European countries that were under USSR occupation. Such as Baltics and Ukraine. Today whites are a minority in most of their capitals in the western world and it generally a crime for a white person to even point out racism towards whites by the colonists.

While I agree with Escobars desccription of the american empire, I disagree strongly with his view of China. The current day China is as much of an empire as the US ever has been and with a strong ambition to become even bigger. Look at the african continent: which country is not yet owned by China yet? There’s even signs that China has began to move part of its population there. And look at dying Europe. It’s only a matter of time before it will be a chinese colony. No more signs of a will to survive there. The chinese just need to wait.

Most Americans don’t get to collect welfare. Most Americans have to get jobs and pay for stuff. Most Americans who work do NOT accumulate riches – they go broke. Probably the elite .01% – guys like Jeff Bezos and Jeff Epstein and Bernie Madoff – can get rich and accumulate riches. That is not “AngloZionist.” It’s just Zionist.

  12. The central thread that this Empire is about to end is very true.

However, the Saker rather obnoxiously combines a left-wing diatribe on the evils of the Occident with a strange Russian-orthodox, ‘clash of he civilization’, weltanschauung.

A nation of saints does not suddenly find itself possessing half a continent, and there is no shortage of peoples on the edge of Russia ready to gripe upon it weight and conduct (as with any great power).

Similarly, the Han race did not suddenly become sapient in an empty China. These states were Empires and expanded as Empires, and were not somehow victims oppressed by a uniquely evil West. Almost without saying, the same goes for an Islam that has always expanded with steel and blood.

This brings us to his completely absurd conclusion that somehow history ends when this empire ends. There will only be self-interested nations existing in equilibrium. Once again hegemony and Empire are uniquely western evils, and no other power would ever exercise its ambitions in the resultant vacuum.

No, history will go on, and the grand dance will continue.

Not anymore. The tired meme of “German technology-Russian resources” is long ago totally irrelevant, as the situation with Siemens (or MTU) so vividly demonstrates. And this is just one example of very many. Yes, it would be still enticing to think about Russo-German economic symbiosis but German political “elite” is mostly a collection of lefty cretins and US puppets and there is no chance in hell this is going to happen. Germany buys (for now) Russian gas and byproducts–this is good enough for now. The nation which makes Green Party a major political force and keeps it such for decades has a lot of soul-searching to do before any talk about something, something Russo-German can be seriously considered. Germany’s importance for Russia’s economy is steadily decreasing. Plus, Germany was second most important factor (after the US) in driving Ukraine to suicide and creating troubles for Russia.

  17. So if the writing is on the wall for the AngloZionist Empire, and if no country can replace the US as imperial world hegemon, what does that mean?

It means the following: 1000 years of European imperialism is coming to an end!

There will be Navy war ships sailing all over the globe to kill pirates, if for no other reason. Whoever commands those war vessels will be de facto emperor. Emperor of the pirates.

Has anybody seen the Zeehan spiel where he predicts the British Navy is going to come back big time as a mercenary force? I thought it was idiotic but he seemed to have a large audience listening to him and nobody was throwing eggs or tomatoes or milkshakes.

    – I don’t see what China did to help with Ukraine, either. China has been reluctant to get involved in Euro-American quarrels, since such entanglements will run counter to its overarching strategy: the BRI – and it requires peaceful relations with the entire world.
And it is still reluctant today, despite US efforts to poke the dragon. China will defend the BRI, if needed with weapons, but not before no-military means are exhausted.
    – Same with “Russia had to give China a free hand in Mongolia”. Where can one verify that (1) Russia maintained any protection/hegemonic control over Mongolia, preventing China’s access to the country; (2) China therefore needed to be given a “free hand” there; (3) what type of technology was [reluctantly] shared; and (4) what help China provided – beyond extremely discreet and in my view, quite minimal, diplomatic support…

  36. As I read this post I wasn’t sure if I should laugh-out-loud, or simply spit.

While I can agree that the age of western ’empire’ has indeed run its course, the author’s suggestion that the time of ’empire’ is now over is so utterly absurd it’s laughable. European occupational ’empire’ is surely being dismantled, but there is more to ’empire’ than an occupation. In fact, what is now developing between the non-‘anglo/zionist’ empire is an altogether new from of empire. One that challenges the currently fading one.

An empire is simply an economic/political force – a dominant power. Since Russia and China share a common interest in minimalizing the ‘anglozionist’ dominance, they have formed a coalition. But to imagine a world utopia following a collapse of the current dominant western regime – where every nation follows its own course in a world of mutual respect of nations – is simply absurd. In fact, it would be laughable if it wasn’t so very dangerously naive in its assumptions.

One could explore this point further, but a good deal of space would be necessary. Still, anyone with any sense of reason would come to understand it after a bit of thought.

A final point to make is this: the entire representation of the growing White European interest in National Socialist Germany is completely false – to be polite. It either comes from a compete ignorance on behalf of the author of this post, or simply due to his general hostility to White culture in general. The latter can be read ‘between the lines’ – in fact, it’s the general theme of his post.

The Saker equates the ‘anglozionist empire’ with White people themselves – he never mentions that everything that once was true of White culture was usurped, appropriated, and destroyed by the very same ‘anglozionist’ regime he abhors. In fact, that very regime has set into motion the entire collapse of the dominant peoples of the west that has led to its decline.

While it is true that the power of the west was handed to the zionist overlords, its not true that this was done by the peoples themselves. It was done by the traitorous ‘elites’ who surrendered the nations’ wealth to the international financiers in order to satiate their greed for power and self-satisfying opulence.

This is why White Europeans’ interest in NS Germany is growing – not only was Adolf Hitler the only ruler in the west who pointed this out, the State of NS Germany proved that there was another way.

While The Saker obviously would like to see the entire collapse of western culture, there are yet those who hold on to the idea that there is still a lot worth attempting to save. And the interests they hold dear won’t come through an imaginary world utopia governed by a benevolent China/Russia accord.

The level of absurdity in this post is breathtaking. In fact, it’s offensive to anyone with any sense of reality and an understanding of human nature.

    I now conclude my rant…😊

Whatever the source of this continuing clusterf-ck a lot of you guys seem to need to be reminded that despite the near 100% focus of our media on the evil disgusting reprehensible deplorable irredeemable “white man” this is America, life goes on. Why wouldn’t “they” try to get rid of the white man, they have nearly and almost completely gotten rid of the black ones.

The people that exist, if that is what you want to call it, in their own little self reinforcing “bubbles” where the predominant effect of this bubble is to reflect their denial of reality perceptions back at them from an adoring crowd have become a threat to mostly themselves. They are obsolete without even knowing it, and the “gators” they have cut a sweet deal with to be one of those eaten last are mostly penned up in the inner city or banished to the Florida everglades. I apologize for our Global Communist Fascist NWO Bankster Financed Criminal Government, but these idiots are just like all the other Global Communist Fascist Bankster Financed Criminal Cabals, and there is no changing that, which should be perfectly obvious by now, just in case any of you have been paying attention. Maybe the Trump effect will allow the economy to expand to such a rate that the government will become even more irrelevant than it has already gotten in the lives of the average American, but probably not.

Eventually, when the Global Cabal comes for our guns, we will do something about it. But not before. I hope they are smart enough to realize this, but the British weren’t. When they came to seize our firearms we shot them. Which is exactly what will happen to anyone else that tries the same. So far most of the “seizures” have been with folks that weren’t even armed, or idiots like David Koresh, and in most of the cases these people were killed, including their dogs. We really like dogs, man’s best friend, and mess with my dog and you are f-cked. I hear the Islamists don’t like dogs. Figures.

Anyway, good article, but in the words of that great American Communist, Bernie Sanders, “You’re wrong!” We listen to these communists (and Bernie is definitely a “little c” communist), just long enough to load their co-ordinates into the targeting computer, then get on with our day. My Jeep needs another coat of wax, it’s only been what, six, or no, seven years. Or I could load some stripper clips, but no, with 10K already I’ll save that chore for the grandchildren.

I hear that we pulled out of another “nuclear treaty” and here in America, the average guy figures that’s great, undoing more past government perfidy. We’ll nevah shut this f-cker down, the Government Bureaucracy that is, but what the hell, my sister-in-law works for them.
You know, you guys always complain of the “NeoCons” or something, [email protected] I guess, but they are like the Socialists, so last century. Nobody gives them any credit for anything anymore, kinda like the Communists, and nuclear war? Seriously, you think? That would mess up the wax on my Jeep, and might even cause a few bald spots on my dog, and guess what, then, S-400s or not, you would be f-cked!

The problem with Nazi Germany was, well, a couple of things, and the main, IMHO were:
    1. Attitude towards Slavs, Russians in general.
    2. The Fuhrer principle.

Saker, of course, having his fundamental “is it good for Kremlin” can’t see NS Germany in a positive light and I don’t blame him. Yes, who cares what an Internet character thinks/feels, BUT, Russians feel/think the same. That’s something to think about. Even the most ardent “88” types could appreciate Russian ICMBs. For that particular target not even. Medium range and cruise missile payloads would work beautifully there. Anyway.
And, well, Fuhrer principle. Men get old and weak etc.

As the dollar goes, so goes this empire. The collapse of western economic policy will be the salvation of the world. Yes, many-especially those totally unaware or feeding at the trough of welfare–will be hurt, even eliminated, but then, the people have always just been along for a ride driven by the elite–in every empire of yore. I tend to agree with Saker–that the Russian China waltz seems to be defensive NOW. What the future brings is unknowable. But every thing that comes must eventually go, and it is time for the rotating western empire to go. Been a long time since China was an empire–may have actually learned something from both it’s past and the worlds most recent history. Or not. The important thing is that many folk are now understanding the greatest of all lies –One size does not fit all (or even most), and that goes for both gloves and governments. An educated people is the biggest fear of government, so the only chance the people have of taking down the current elites is the window of opportunity the relative free and open internet presents; which is already beginning to close as the elite realize that too much information is being revealed. Ultimately, In the fast approaching chaos, survival will be the result of personal responsibility. The extinction of the species is entirely possible if we don’t mind our p’s and q’s.

  47. @Andrei Martyanov

I see things in a different context. Germany is still officially at war with the Allies. It is occupied. The German Constitutional Court ruled in the 1950s that the Wiemar Republic was still in place, and the legitimate heir to government.
What passes for the German government today is the government installed by the US and its allies (who are also occupied by Zion) – an occupation government. Most of the German volk see Russians as a natural ally. Even Hitler saw Russians as potential allies, but did not trust Stalin and his cabal of occupiers. The problem is that both the occupation government and the Russian government continue to pretend that WWII wasn’t about economics, but the invasion of Poland by the “satanic Nazis”. Putin, himself continues the narrative of “the great patriotic war” pretending that the 160 divisions assembled to attack Germany were there to defend the USSR. Meanwhile, in Alliedland, the daily dose of Holocaustianity is second only to the weather report in frequency.
What is happening today is a continuation of WWII. It’s still about economics, but Russia has, to a great extent shed itself of its occupiers, while Germany hasn’t in the slightest. Until that changes, and the occupation is ended, things will never change, for Russia, Germany, and the rest of us.

  48. @nsa

If The Saker actually read alternative sources, rather than those of the official narrative of the 3rd Reich, he would understand why the “Anglozionists” were intent on destroying it in 1933.

  49. The Crusades occurred after Emperor Alexius I asked for Western help in dealing with the Turks. The Turks dealt a crippling blow to the Byzantinian Empire at the battle of Manzikert. At that battle, the Byzantinian Emperor RomanusIV (Alexius became emperor after Romanus) was captured. The prime reason for the defeat was reinforcements that Romanus was expecting never arrived. This was due due to court intrigue. Romanus was captured by the Turks. The real reason for the collapse of the Byzantian Empire was not the pope or the Franks, it was internal corruption.

By the way if it was not for the Franks Europe would be Moslem today. It was Charles Martel who stopped the Moorish invasion of France. Also the Pope’s claims can at least be traced back to Pope Victor I, about 800 years before the Great Schism.

As I noted already, it’s actually laughable.

Regarding NS Germany: I’m pretty much aware of all the ‘critiques’ and arguments for and against it. I’ve come to my own conclusions – as many others are…increasingly more and more – I’ve stopped trying to argue the details. The facts are out there, if people care to find them. In my opinion, NS Germany was the last true chance to save Europe from everything we see today. When the enemies of decency destroyed NS Germany, they destroyed the Soul of Europe.

  63. I think the Saker suffers from a phobia of Catholicism. And it is worthwhile to analyze this a bit.

He regularly dismisses the Roman Catholic Church as not Roman, nor Christian. He calls it Latin Church.

Let me argue that this may partly be motivated by a cultural inferiority complex. After the schism between the Orthodox and Catholic Churches the world in which the Roman Catholic Church was dominant went into an era of intellectual achievement that rivals that of the ancient Greeks. As St. Augustine built on Plato, it was St. Thomas of Aquinas who took off where Aristotle left off. There were Islamic scholars and Maimonides who studied Aristotle, but they were not able to absorb his thoughts and build on them like St. Thomas of Aquinas was. This is because in Christianity logos (reason) is fundamental, the Christian God is bound by reason, or rules like non-contradiction, in Islam this is not the case. In fact, the Islamic scholars tried to use Aristotle to bolster Islam, but this was not possible, which is why this effort was abandoned in the Islamic world. Christians, of course, had the advantage that the Gospels were written in Greek, so they had immediate access to Aristotle.

Some of Aristotle’s ideas were later refuted by Galileo, Newton, etc., but the fact is that the work of Aquinas built the foundations for rational, scientific thinking in Europe which was dormant since the times of Plato and Aristotle. The era from the Middle-Ages to the Renaissance was comparable to the Ancient Hellenic period in artistic, scientific, achievement, and it was the Roman Catholic Church, which cultivated a culture of reason which gave rise to these developments. Let us also stress that between the Ancient Greeks and the Middle-Ages-to-Renaissance era there was no comparable period of intellectual achievement. Even the Roman Empire does not hold a candle to the Ancient Greeks.

The other such era took place mostly in Germany in the 18th, 19th, and early 20th centuries. Especially philosophy from Kant until Heidegger, but also bolstered by mathematicians like Gauss, Hilbert, Riemann, and the culmination of science in quantum mechanics and general relativity, is the other era which rivals ancient Greek achievement.

At the same time, the Byzantine Empire went into irreversible decay, and disappeared. For many in the Orthodox world this sequence of events is a root of a cultural inferiority complex. I do not think it should be, after all, the achievements of the scholastics or the Renaissance are universal, we can all enjoy them (OK, the Uffizi cost around 15 euros the last time I was there…).

For the Saker, presumably an educated person, to dismiss the Roman Catholic Church as “Latin Church” and such, is extremely primitive, actually barbaric.

On the other hand, it may be that the Saker writes this with an alterior motive. The British Empire, as well as the AngloZionists today, fear any kind of rapprochement between Europe and Russia, and they go to any length to keep them as divided as possible. Anyway, on this issue his views coincide with those of the “AngloZionists”, especially, since in the US, the WASP elite and the Jewish elite tend to unite against the Catholics.

The fact that Russia is demonized by elite western Zionists is a different question. Fabrications like “Russian hacking”, Skripal, etc. and the tearing up of vital international security agreements (Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces INF Treaty and the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action JCPA with Iran) can only drive Russia into a defensive alliance with China.

A more natural situation would be for the traditionalist societies of eastern Europe (e.g. Poland and Hungary) to build links with similarly traditionalist Russia – and fade their links with the multi-cult, multi-gender, anti Christian open frontiers West.

Saker is 100% wrong about China. It’s a hegemon, as its SE Asian neighbours can clearly see. Overseas Chinese elites have for year played the same role in S.E.Asia as Jewish commercial elites in the Anglo world . Their corrupt alliances with local leaders allow them to continuously loot the economies of places like Indonesia and the Philippines.

World industrial and trade leadership inevitably leads to Empire. The British after 1850 and the Americans after 1945. The difference (as others have pointed out), is that the Chinese are more ethnocentric. Thus their Imperial project will probably have more in common with Japanese and Nazi German efforts – with a primary target (when they’re strong enough) being the natural resources of Russia’s Far East.

Those kings and popes sent those crusaders to the Middle East when Islam was in its golden age. There were no standing armies there since they’d known peace for so long, so the murderous, pillaging crusaders had a free hand to rape, pillage and plunder which was exactly what they were ordered to do. At that time the West lived in its DARK AGES when life was short, brutal, filthy and diseased. Medicine was at its lowest point, civic planning let along running water and drainage was unknown and science was primitive and mostly just superstition. Medicine was unknown and surgery of little use. Children were enslaved and there was no such thing as a minimum age of consent. Even royalty married and consumated marriages with babies. This was what is known as the Dark Ages and for good reason. However the East knew no such thing. Instead it was centuries ahead of the barbarian West. Maths and astronomy and medicine all thrived. Civic planning, drainage and sewers and running water along with magnificent works of architectural genius. The entire knowledge base of civilisation up to that point was included along with many great advances in all areas. Even our morals were learned from our victims. The Muslim warriors were honorable and we were not. Slavery was normal, for all but rape was only common when committed by Crusaders. Burning civilian towns was NEVER done by Muslims that was a Crusader speciality.

All of this was laid to waste by those brutes called crusaders. They had no honor nor any sense of decency. The next time they came back they were met with armies and got their arses kicked solidly all the way back to Europe and some, and in the process learned great examples of the honor and humanity they did not even know. Great warriors and humanists like Salahudin taught the bastards a few things. MY family were crusaders in times past. I am of scottish heritage but no way I can deny the truth of history since now, unlike you I know it.

You like most Westerners have been shielded from these truths because the lying West wants to pretend it is the source of civilisation instead of a late comer and constant threat towards civilisation. The same West which even created Wahhabis and their vile Takfiri offspring. Muslims simply were not scary enough so they had to make some new fake ones.

After seeing another promising title, I found myself in disbelief that this ignorant and idiotic piece of juvenile propaganda was written by a 50yo adult. A Russky nonetheless, kind which claims to possess “superb analytical skills” (obviously unmerited claim, since 9yo children would write something more insightful, intelligent and logical than this: I wonder how many lies have this particular Russky source told relative to his briefing about war in Ukraine: I’d say mostly; wouldn’t be surprised to find out that those farmers and miners were actually Russky military and special forces, certainly it’d seem so at the beginning).

Anyhow, I didn’t read whole propaganda piece due to high saturation with lies and juvenile dullness. The author starts by speaking of some symbiosis between China and Russia. Obviously basic facts escape this author’s awareness: Russia is very resource rich more-than-continent size country, while China suffers from severe lack of resources needed to fuel its gargantuan industrial base, even though China itself is a very large country. Such symbiosis China has with many countries besides Russia. Then author claims how his peaceful country Russia (being so “peaceful” it is almost 4 times the size of Europa) doesn’t want neighboring lands and has absolutely no desire to take them. Yet this same author regularly express allusions about some “right” to have more Ukraine’s land, much more than they have taken over now with Crimea and eastern Ukraine, so much more in fact that all of Ukraine should join Russia and be its province, except maybe a small swath of land bordering Poland (even Putin speaks of Ukrainians being Russians and need to merge with Belarus). Such peacefulness these people display. And also such arrogance to insult minds of the readers with that 5th grade propaganda.

Then author belittles Polacks’ ambitious fantasies of forming their commonwealth between Baltic and Black seas, yet has no quarrels about Russia appropriating lands, the author just doesn’t like Polacks taking anything for themselves; in fact I’d wager this author and most if not all of his Russky ilk would be happiest if Poland was province of Russia and Polack people was no more, i.e. colonized into Russians. There are over 100 ethnicities Russkies in Russia whose land Russkies have taken and who are subjected to colonization, whereas Polacks live on their ancestral land.

Last but foremost in order and importance, notice how this author zealously features mainstream pleas and appeals to be anti-racist, tolerant toward those destroying your kind and accepting of Muslimo and African migrants in your lands, for wreckage it will inevitably follow will be most profitable for Russia as Russia needs European white folk which is open to be colonized into Russians, as Euro white folk is the kind which could only advance his Russia beyond the petty state of its present existence with Russky populace. Muslimo and African humanoid kind will not advance you, it will only kill you, and Russkies like this author knows who to invite into Russia and who to advocate others invite. Secretly Russkies desire to be hegemon of Europa. But that aside, we can all see and notice that most evident fact: how ruinous, fatal and catastrophic that die-versity anti-racist set up has been for everyone in the western world, especially so for Ameros, and how strong, vigorous and vivid they all were when they weren’t anti-racist, Afro and Muslim accepting and die-versity celebrating liberal kind. Also very rich in hypocrisy and irony that this Russky 5th rate propagandist would advise others to live off of their own resources, all the while his Russky kind is living off resources of over 100 ethnicities whose land was taken over by Russkies. Ancestral Russian land doesn’t even stretch in entirety to Volga river. Incidentally, this author is obviously oblivious to the fact that Europeans do not live off resources of others, unlike Russkies, Ameros and Australos who do. It’s not Europeans who are in possession of stolen land, but you. If anything it is others who live off of ingenuity and intelligence of Europeans, and that must stop. Do Russkies think they have the right to enjoy in cultural and technological achievements, inventions and genius of European creation? As of now, everything European people invent finds its way to others. Others obviously think they are entitled to fruits of European intelligence.

We would NOT have managed to produce steam engines or locomotives without the advances in maths, metallurgy and even physics they stole in the crusades. You speak like a goose actually. Nobody was NOT prepared to share such knowledge, but the West didn’t ask, they simply rode in and stole it. Deal with it man. Steam engines? Early in the first century A.D., a Greek inventor named Hero of Alexandria designed the world’s first aeolipile, or primitive steam turbine. The fact is that all civilisation’s achievements have been managed through a process of relaying information from one civilisation to another. This is understood by wiser people but the puppy like West struggles to deal with being part of an ongoing civilisation and prefers to think of itself as some how superior and self sustaining. Bullshit!

The industrial revolution was made possible largely through better explosives which allowed much deeper and more effective mining which in turn was able to feed the mills to produce the steel and other metals in quantity which allowed for the industrial revolution. That discovery was due to he original discovery of simpler explosives in the East. The West, specifically England perfected safety fuse and others in the West produced TNT which was when mining really got a boost. None of it stood alone, it all stood on the shoulders of civilisations, including Eastern ones which went before. Too bad the West prefers plunder and pillage to peaceful cooperation and sharing. That doesn’t mean I need to bite my tongue when presented by the usual arriogant ignorance which so disgusts me about the West.

We have a very significant Chinese population in Australia and they are NO problem at all. The Chinese have a vastly different collective outlook on life to Westerners but once you accept them for what they are, they do not actually encroach on others. Indeed most Chinese who live outside China adopt our ways easily, preferring the more individualist paradigm whilst not losing their familial connections as much as we have.

  71. @The Alarmist

Garbage. The first crusade was a direct conquering invasion to steal everything not cemented in place and to wreck everything else. It was based on pure avarice and jealousy by European kings and popes and NO land was ‘taken back’ by Christendom it simply stole, raped, pillaged and burned. There was no morals or any form of humanity in the Dark Ages Europe you refer to, it was a time of barbarism. Thank the East for us learning even to wipe our arses! and not shit where you eat! Thank the East that we finally accepted we don’t live on a flat earth at the center of the universe. It took a few hundred years for that knowledge to filter through and then it was appropriated by Europeans, as if they didn’t get the idea from the East who’d known this for centuries longer. Thank the East that we learned not to drink befouled water even or rely on leaches and bleeding for just about everything. So pathetic when we really get down to the nitty gritty. Even the lie about AISHA takes on new meaning when we realise at the same time there was no minimum age for consent at all in the West whilst Islam introduced exactly such a law and it stands to this day. Age of menarche used to be much older too. The West, including the USA which still has age 14 in some states and had much younger age of consent in most states untilt he seventies learned even such basic morality from the East.

The next time around there were Muslim armies to meet the predators and it ended with Muslims controlling much land that was formerly Christian. Christians had never been expelled from Muslim lands and nor had Jews. That was the doing of those two older more primitive dispensations of the same religion at its heart. As a priesthood holder and despite being excommunicated from the Christian Church (priesthood cannot be removed by men) I find no significant conflict between the teachings of Islam and Christianity. I’m a Muslim today but it does not make any difference to my faith in or committment to God. Same God actually.

You don’t have culture. Not of worth one at any rate. Russkies have always been kind which mimics others. You mock Polacks for dreaming about being power between Black and Baltic seas, yet your kind fantasize about being global power because it stole land of 130 ethnicities which, unlike some others, still to this day couldn’t colonize in full. You are no match for neither English or French in terms of civilizational, scientific and cultural achievements, let alone Germans. It’s not surprising, after all you are comprised of those Altaic and Samoyedic barbarians of the steppes as well as feministic Slavs. These are no kinds known for any cultural refinement. Barbarians are like animals while Slavs are worshipers of women and various feminine sensualist ways and thus are lacking in cerebral and logical development. Mongol culture is much better than the Russky one. Mongols show certain steadiness, discipline and also display loathing toward degenerate behavior. One just doesn’t see lust, lewdness or greed in their behavior. Such well behaved people. I’ve always admired that about Mongols. There is nothing to admire about wretched Russkies and their arrogance… to think they are some kind of world’s civilizational and cultural juggernaut, them who possess neither of the mentioned.

You can say that again. Westerners are a large part of his audience and yet he can’t stop himself from antagonising them and even driving a wedge between groups that should work together. Once he started talking about well-deserved “karma” in the form of White Genocide it became obvious that we’re reading an emotionally driven “analysis” caricature.

If anything, this is reverse-propaganda, where the crowd mostly turns against the author and his arguments. I think it’s unintentional. He was always prone to let emotions connect the convenient dots. If he was an analyst in RL, it must have been for Wile E. Coyote.

  86. This seems to me a highly questionable argument, at several points. For one, it entirely discounts the imperialism of the ancient world and the modern West’s identification with the same: the elective affinity institutionalized since the Renaissance. Achaemenid Persia, the Athens of the Delian League, Alexandrian Macedonia, and Rome were all empires of note, and the latter three especially have played a significant role in the modern self-conception of the west. Saker’s privileging of the 11th century is asserted but not explained.

The main thrust of Saker’s argument is Utopian, while dismissing the religion that bolsters the notion of the universal free spirit, Christianity. Power abhors a vacuum, and (to paraphrase Cornel West) the various forms of subjection and structures of domination are the dominant theme in the history of the species. While Christianity has certainly had an imperial dimension, it is also probably the most radically democratic religion the world has ever known. Christ on the Cross, by doubting his father, extends divine value even to the most wretched atheist. The crucifix is thus the archetypal form symbolizing universal redemption, despite our extreme experiences of suffering and lonely isolation. We’d be fools to forsake such a symbolic model of radical democratic equality in favor of a one-sided and self-loathing view of Western history.

As for Tulsi Gabbard, her foreign policy views are a clear and present danger to Israel’s and Washington’s grand strategy to secure permanent military hegemony in the Middle East. If the PNAC grand strategy succeeds, there will never be any justice or sovereignty for the Palestinian people. I think she was being strategic with the BDS vote (as with her defense of Joe Biden, a head-fake which opened up the opportunity for her to take down Kamala Harris). Gabbard’s mission faces long enough odds without her publicly confirming the worst paranoid Zionist fears about her. She’s already being denounced as an “Assad apologist” and “Putin puppet” (don’t you love the sub literary assonance and alliteration?); she can dispel the outrageous slanders, but if she were on the record in support of BDS, it would have been the nail in the coffin of her campaign. Gabbard strikes me as radically pragmatic. We will need her remarkable leadership skills to avoid civil war as the empire collapses. Please don’t throw in the towel yet or give up on the one hope that remains.

What about Helsinki Accords, them being trampled?

Or the fact that EEC/EU delegation met with separatist politicians at Brioni in 1991?

But the most brilliant touch? Founding an external comission heaed by Badinter, that drew up arbitrary borders according to separatist wishes, proclaimed the state defunct, non-existent and then threatened the Serbs with bombing and annihilation if they objected or interfered.

This was followed by cynical looking the other way in 1994 and 1995 as Croats and Bosniaks
attacked UNPA zones (including wounding and murdering UN personnel, commiting war crimes and ethnic clensing in nominally protected areas, no punishment came), in addition to sending advisors and helping them with preliminary airstrikes for August 1995 campaign.

But now there is an entire list of software which I (and a few family members) need to run which run only on a Windows platform. So I have finally decided to get one, just one, Windows computer (either laptop or notebook size) to put all my non-free software onto that one machine (which I will probably multi-boot anyway). To be honest, I am not too happy with this option, but my hardware is not fast enough to run Windows on a virtual machine and, besides, even if I wanted to install W10 on a virtual machine, I would not know where to acquire the Windows 10 OS (and I sure don’t want to give even a penny to the MS Corporation to begin with).

I don’t care about looks or signs of wear and tear or about esthetics (-: my favorite laptops have always been ThinkPads :-). I would need a reasonably fast machine with a halfway decent graphics card, but screen size is irrelevant.

So, if any of you has a Windows 10 laptop or notebook to donate or sell, please drop me an email.

So, you imply that he is an “agent provocateur’? I have a different explanation. He was born, grew up, got education, and lived all his life outside of Russia, apparently he never even been there. But he desperately wants to be a Russian. So, like a typical Westerner, he is a lot more simplistic and straightforward than a Russian would ever be. The views of any Russian with 100+ IQ are never simple, always nuanced. There is only one situation when the nuances disappear: when Russia is invaded by a foreign force, Russians turn against it until the last invader, along with traitors, is buried (as Napoleon and Hitler learned the hard way). Then the nuances return. Those nuances are what the Saker often lacks. He has some interesting insights, but more often than not he pushes those insights to the point of absurdity.

I have a problem with this, “…informal coalition of mostly Asian countries will offer an alternative economic and civilizational model, which will be immensely attractive to the rest of the planet.” I don’t think a lot of Fillipinos, Japanese, Vietnamese, Taiwanese or Koreans would agree with this. From my gathering of intel based on reading and conversations with people of those ethnicities living in the U.S., they don’t find the embrace of China as loving as you seem to.

AND… “US Americans and Europeans will, for the very first time in their history, have to behave like civilized people…”

Okay, so we’ll have to reduce our warlike behavior, However, this “US Americans and Europeans will have to work like everybody else to accumulate riches.” I believe most Americans work already. And about ‘the collapse of the empire?’ I don’t see it collapsing on its own. I see it being collapsed, with masses of non-Americans being spirited into the country, like drowning people swamping a lifeboat as they all attempt to climb aboard. I see a hidden hand. We are being downsized by unseen forces. Why would an ’empire’ self-sabatoge?

Anyway, a depressing piece, but I’m sure some people who hate the country and its founders and cultural forebears will find it rewarding.

Let’s be frank: Eastern Orthodoxy was a cultural Sahara in comparison with Western Christianity (first Catholic, then Protestant, too). There was no even close Eastern Orthodox equivalent to Aquinas, Dante, Petrarch, Hildegard of Bingen, Lassus, Descartes, Mozart, Bach, Michelangelo, Rembrandt, Velazquez,… (I am only mentioning those creators somehow connected to religion). From sonnet to polyphony, from perspective to mathematical & musical modern notation & calendar- it’s all West.

Perhaps Western Christianity got more people. Perhaps Eastern Orthodox peoples were just historically unlucky. But, the imbalance is evident, whichever the reason.

  120. There is only one situation when the nuances disappear: when Russia is invaded by a foreign force, Russians surrender and retreat until winter comes, then they burn everything and starve their own people (as Napoleon and Hitler learned the hard way).

    FIFY.

Seemingly endless columns of Soviet troops captured in the great military victories during the first months of Germany’s “Barbarossa” offensive are marched to internment camps behind the lines.

Lets face it, those famed Russians surrendered faster than the French ever did, even when the cowardly slavs relied on the winter of 1812 to defeat their enemies. How was it possible that the “inept” Napoleon and Hitler both made it for thousands of kilometers across Russia to Moscow in the first place if not for the “nuances” of Russian cowardice?

  121. Liza says:
    @Bardon Kaldian

@Bardon. Antichristians of the heathen variety say that the magnificent creations, inventions, achievements, etc. of Western Christian societies were due not to acceptance of Christianity (mostly done by force) but by the inherent racial qualities of western peoples. Since there is no parallel universe where this can be proved one way or another, it is hard to say.

Eastern Orthodox peoples are largely not western Europeans, so that’s an explanation for less achievement in these kinds of matters. I know you know all this stuff, by the way, but just wanted to say it here. Or is his what you were meaning to say in the first place and I just didn’t get it. 🙂

  122. @Bardon Kaldian

Literature: Tolstoy, Dostoyevsky, Chekhov (I am not even mentioning Pushkin, Gogol, or Bulgakov who might be too Russian for non-Russians to understand). In terms of quality, quantity, and variety of literature only English can compare to Russian.

Music: Tchaikovsky, Glinka, Mussorgsky, etc. Just listen to any classical music radio station, and you’d encounter a lot more.

Plenty of painters, singers, dancers (even a half-educated moron knows Bolshoi and Mariinsky theaters), etc.

  123. @Kartoffelstampfer

Congratulations: the thickness of your clichés sets the record.

For normal people: 1812 – Napoleon left Moscow in October, before winter started.

1941 – The timing of Barbarossa was ruined within weeks by the real fight Russians put up. At the very border, Brest fortress, which Hitler planned to take in the first day, resisted for a week. The battle of Smolensk lasted from July 10 to September 10 (longer than it took Hitler to conquer the whole France). The battle of Moscow started in October 1941. When the German army advanced, the frost was light and there was little snow, so German tanks could move anywhere. When Russian counteroffensive started, there was plenty of snow, so Russian tanks could only move on the roads. Guess who won?

German army lost more soldiers fighting for the Pavlov’s house in Stalingrad (which it never took) than taking Paris.

Maybe you believe that Russian winter lasted from 1941 until the fall of Berlin in May of 1945? LOL.

  124. @Kartoffelstampfer

They don’t want a hegemon, they want a bunch of weak interdependent states that of course are really controlled by multinational corporations, and that is indeed happening before our eyes. BRICS and OBOR are just ways of getting that corporate “dream” realized. A world that is indeed run by multinational corporations isn’t much different than what we experience today, in reality, it is just more of the same. To think that the main players aligned against the Anglo Zionist Empire are not thoroughly corrupt themselves is nothing more than a grand self deception. Brazil is a prime example, the corruption of Lula and co. led to Bolsonaro and the neo libs coming back into power there. Multinational corporations are the players in both versions of globalization being presented, thus both are virtually the same thing. We are being played!!!!!!!!!

Of those, only Dostoevsky and Tolstoy can stand comparison with great western writers like Dante or Shakespeare. As for literature, English, French & German literatures are equal or superior to Russian. But, this is not the point. These are all Western cultural forms that Russians (and other prominent Eastern Orthodox peoples) had adopted.

Not true. Not to mention that French literature is rather weak (e.g., Zola is equivalent to Turgenev at best, who is decidedly second-rate in Russian literature). Germans (in a broad sense) produced some good literature in their language, but it is still below English (again, including all English language literature). As far as music goes, all Europeans followed Italian example, but each nation produced quite specific music (i.e., those that produced it: Germans, French, British, Russians, Czechs, and a few others). Russian and even Czech opera is quite distinct. And so it goes.

This is not a place for such discussions, but I think you’re more or less clueless about French literature. Russian litetarture has two titans, a few great writers (Chekhov, Gogol, some poets, and a few non-negligible authors). French, on the other hand, have two indisputable titans, Montaigne and Proust, then an incredible string of great writers (Villon, Rabelais, Moliere, Stendhal, Racine, Hugo, Balzac, Flaubert, Rimbaud, Verlaine, Nerval, Valery, Zola, Baudelaire,..a many lesser authors who are still very strong (Martin DuGard, Cassou, ..). The most influential 19th C Western writers were Flaubert and Baudelaire.

As for Germans, they don’t have as many good writers as English-language authors in the 20th C, but German language high, canonical literature is plainly superior to English (Mann, Kafka, Hesse, Musil, Broch, Doeblin, Rilke, Robert Walser, Bernhard, Canetti, Grass,…). Even the best English-language writers like Joyce and Faulkner are just like children in comparison with mentally developed authors like Broch or Musil. They are, well, yokels.

    What “sucker punching” was that.

    – Was it the French invasion of Germany in 1939 in which the Germans routed the French?

    – Was it the British invasion of Norway who were then routed by the Germans?

    – Was it the planned Soviet invasion of Germany which the Germans prevented?

    – Was it the Polish threat to attack on Lithuania?

    – Was it Poland’s invasion and seizure of parts of Czechoslovakia?

    – Was it France’s positioning of 2 million soldiers on the Belgian border with Germany and the British force of half a million troops planning to attack Germany?

    – Was it “neutral” Belgium & Holland’s agreement with France and England to use their airspace for military purposes against Germany before Germany did anything?

    – Was it the USSR’s invasion of Finland, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Poland?

    – Was it the USSR’s invasion & annexation of parts of Romania, their invasion of Iran, their invasion of Iran, their invasion of northern Norway, and their invasion of the Danish island of Bornholm?

    – Was it the British invaded of Iceland and Iran?

    – Was it the “neutral” US attacking German U-boats & shipping, while supplying both Britain & the USSR long before Germany’s declaration of war on the US?

    – see my comment 183

    Cheers.

Same old, same old… Aren’t you tired of repeating this? Maybe Gengiz Khan had no choice but to invade every neighboring country, Napoleon had no choice but to invade Russia, Brits had no choice by to invade India, and the US had no choice but to occupy Germany and Japan more than 70 years after WWII. Am I missing something?

At least you don’t promote your CODOH website here. Tell you a secret: you need to change the name of the site if you wish to attract those who speak Russian. It sounds too similar to “podoh” in Russian. In Russian the term “podoh”, which means “died”, applies mostly to animals and only in a very despising way to humans. Say, a hater of Nazis would say that Hitler “podoh”, a hater of Stalin would say that he “podoh”, etc.

You’ve made a clown of yourself and desperately resort to juvenile language.

    I win again.

  172. I had several responses, so let me respond in one posting.

I think both the Roman Catholic Church and the Eastern Orthodox Church descend directly from the Saviour, the Apostles, and subsequently the Church fathers who hammered out through long debates the best religious system known to man. They won all their intellectual duels of the time, be it against the Manicheans, Donatists, etc. Both the Roman Catholic Church and the Eastern Orthodox Churches are holy apostolic Churches.

While I think that it was definitely the cultivation of logos by the Roman Catholic Church in the west which lead to such a thorough flourishing of the arts, sciences, philosophy (like I wrote in my previous posting), I do not mean to belittle Russian, Greek, and other contributions. Russia always had notable contributions which mirrored those of Europe: for example the main theorem of Gauss was also discovered by Ostrogradsky, non-Euclidean geometry go to Gauss, as well as Lobachevsky and Bólyai. And there was the literary and musical giants already mentioned.

I think though that the grudge, hatred that flows out of people like the Saker is, aside from all the adjectives I used above, counterproductive. Actually, the first time I encountered the bullshit idea that the Roman Catholic Church should neither be called Roman, nor Catholic, was on a Pro-Israeli website. The lobby hates Roman Catholicism the most, so Eastern Orthodox who go along with this are doing a favour for the lobby, whether they know it or not.

Regarding always harping on the IVth Crusade and the like, I suggest to read the chapter on the meaning of history in Jewish thought in the book the Wandering Who by Gilad Atzmon. I emphasize that what Gilad talks about there is not unique to jews. Gilad makes two points. One, history in Jewish thought always starts at a point in time at which it is alleged that someone did something bad to the Jews. Two, only the offense to the jews matters, i.e. jews were the victims, the others were evil. The account of history should be adjusted according to these two principles, regardless of any factual findings, actual studies of the circumstances, etc. As a result there is no necessity to think about the real meaning of the event itself, or history in broad, objective terms, and the real meaning of the study of history, which should bring about genuine human solidarity evaporates. I believe this is not at all unique to jews, we all have it in us to do it if we associate too strongly with an identity, and the Saker, and Epigon are following these lines. (One of Epigon’s responses to the fact that it was the Roman Catholic world in which the Renaissance took place is: well the Latins stole all the books from Constantinople…)

I should also say, that I am not so impressed by what is going on in the west today, and the Catholic Church, while I believe has the potential to become a solid rock of opposition, has not unambiguously risen to fulfill this historical responsibility. In fact, Russia seems to be in a much better position…

  173. @Epigon

Your ignorance is again showing – they didn’t freeze to death.

Your arrogance and overloaded ego is showing through. Click here to see dozens of images of freezing soldiers during Napoleon’s retreat.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_invasion_of_Russia

In the following weeks, the Grande Armée suffered from the onset of the Russian Winter. Lack of food and fodder for the horses, hypothermia from the bitter cold and persistent attacks upon isolated troops from Russian peasants and Cossacks led to great losses in men

When you freeze to death in November it doesn’t really matter to you if it is winter or the onset of winter. But this is just irrelevant estrogen bomb semantics. Plus you completely avoided my point about scorched earth in both wars. From wiki:

the Russians employed scorched-earth tactics, destroying villages, towns and crops and forcing the invaders to rely on a supply system that was incapable of feeding their large army in the field.

winning a number of minor engagements and a major battle at Smolensk in August. Napoleon hoped this battle would win the war for him, but the Russian army slipped away and continued to retreat, leaving Smolensk to burn.

A week later, Napoleon entered Moscow, only to find it abandoned and burned by the Russians.

Those brave Russian soldiers forced hundreds of thousands, possibly millions, of Russians to evacuate their homes to be burned and destroyed right at the onset of winter. I can be reasonably certain that many if not most physically opposed these actions.

How many women, children and old people died from exposure after the “brave” Russian army continually ran from Napoleon and left a swath of death and destruction of their own people for thousands of miles across Poland, Belorussia and Russia? They destroyed Smolensk and Moscow, can you imagine the suffering.

Then those “Brave Russians” went ahead and did it again in 1941. Russians love to spew statistics about casualties from the war, but until they can account for what happened when they “scorched the earth” we cannot attribute any dead Russian civilians in either wars to Hitler or Napoleon.

Then there is your beloved Cossacks who cowardly attacked Napoleon’s rear after the onslaught of the early winter of 1812. They made Napoleon’s army suffer almost as much as those hundreds of thousands of homeless peasants and townspeople whose homes they burned.

Well the “Russians” sure showed the Cossacks what it means to be a Russian after operation Keel Haul where they all ended up murdered by their fellow slavs.

Oh, those brave patriotic Russians. I love this scene from enemy at the gates where the Russian machine gunners are killing Russian soldiers from behind as they storm the German machine gunners in front. Russians make such good slavs.

In my opinion it is a very weak article. Sacker is a smart guy and this unfortunate article can only be explained by a manipulation attempt on us.
China has over the history several unsuccessful attempts to conquer Korea, several semi-failed incursions into central Asia and the Vietnam area. China does not have a very rich expansionist history but it does not lack a few attempts either.
The main problem was actually the lack of military talent. The Chinese are a nation of hard working peasants and shopkeppers. They lack the military talent. They manage to lose battle where they outnumber their adversary 10:1.
Russia on the other hand has a very long history of conquests and invasions. Russia is a militarist and expansionist state by definition. If you search the dictionary for the word invader you will find the picture of a Russian military. That was a bitter joke. My country was “liberated” several times by the Russians and each time they stole a territory from us.
The article is wrong from so many points of view that my head hurts.
    Just an example.
No one has a global network of bases like America – Saker affirmation. Yes it is true but irelevant and deceitful, with current technology in 10 years China or UE can build this network off bases without any problems. Russia lack the manpower and money. France, England, Holland have former colonial islands all over the world where the EU can easy build military bases if needed. It has the technology and the necessary money.
If America will fall the next empire can step in less than 10 years. Things are not working horse speed anymore.
Saker sound ridicoulos like Fukuyama end of history predictions. It is in man nature to be expansionist.
IF America fall and nobody try to take his place we can say that homo sapiens dissapeared and was replaced by homo impotentus.

Why do you Russian people fantasizing about cultural equality to the western world when even chickens know how inferior you are. You can compare yourself to Italian, Spanish, our Yugo and Polack cultural strength. Possibly with French. Germans are far above any other cultural rival. Truth is that you don’t have strong culture and you will never have. Do you perhaps think that barbaric Hunnic animals are great culture, hmm? Ugric Huns Magyars for example. They have place themselves on the Slavic land there in Carpathian land yet they are of inferior IQ worth than Slavs are, even though they have been under similar cultural influence as the Slavs of the region. They have never managed to make any cultural creation. Magyar Jews have been able to, but not the Ugric Huns. You too have had a large numero of Indo-European people between Black and Caspian seas which are of great intelligence worth. Most of your men of renown come from their genetic makeup. You might bicker between yourselves, yet in a moments of invasions or wars you stop with quarrels (unlike Greeks for example, who never stopped bickering between themselves even when faced with calamities), unite and fight together. And it shows itself. Take a look at products of your mind and hands, your material creation, and observe. What do you see there? You don’t see any nuances of anything. You see crude simplicity and unbalances. But you know where you see nuances? In German works. It is so nuanced, so full of nooks and crevices, whereas in your works you will never see such nuances and details.

Speaking on the subject, let’s say that empires are easily created. It’s the matter of will and organization. There is certainly more than enough parts of us to create one. What would it take to create something like Holy Roman Empire from our present EU bureaucratic monstrosity and start reclaiming that which was taken from us long ago, start reclaiming Mediterranean. Liberated Constantinople can be our capital and all the lands reclaimed as imperial lands which will speak selected common language. We can add European parts of Norte America and South America to our realm, as they too will no doubt want to join. Take Antartica which will soon become land of moderate climate after the magnetic reversal. There is no reason whatsoever of not reviving true empire instead of this EU charade we now have.

Touchy, eh? I don’t see the reason for it.

English language literature produces much more than any comparable in the world, especially in various fields of entertainment (crime fiction, romance novels, science fiction, fantasy fiction, spy novels & thrillers…). Also, it has a variety of readable 2nd & 3rd rate ordinary writers (Hemingway, Iris Murdoch, Joseph Heller, George Orwell ..).

But, it is also parochial & mentally vacuous, especially when compared to German literature (the same with British & American philosophy in contrast to German language philosophy). Strong suits of Anglophone writers are characterization, frequently vividness, social criticism & cultural varieties due to its colonial & Imperial heritage.

On the other hand, acknowledged greatest modern English language writers like Joyce & Faulkner (some would add Beckett, Nabokov and perhaps 2-3 other authors) are not only parochial, but mentally underdeveloped; their best work has the quality of perfect rendering of the ordinary, dull low IQ world. Joyce’s “Ulysses” is, alongside Musil’s “The Man without Qualities” empty of mental content & no English or American writer could write dialectical fireworks between Naphta & Settembrini in Mann’s “Magic Mountain”. In short, this literature has more or less equal emo-stuff, superior social stuff, equal low IQ stuff & definitely inferior high IQ & “spiritual” stuff.

  181. As a Chinese, I can totally understand the super super super arrogance and ignorance attitude of most ordinary west people today toward other civilizations and cultures. We have ‘been there done that’ for very long time(roughly more than two thousand years feeling really good about ourselves), last time it was during the Qing Dynasty, also our last empire.

The strong memory of glory history about empires can mentally hurt the empire citizens really badly and blind them from the outside world no matter it’s ancient time/computer time. They (majority citizens of the dying empire) won’t listen, they won’t watch, they won’t accept the reality unless they are badly hurt.
So it never surprised me some west people speak of some super ignorant nonsense about the East, especially about China.
Again, been there done that. Funny fact that for us Chinese people, we have some kind of ‘been there done that’ feeling for most things happened/happening in this world (really long and continuous history books we kept to blame), well, except the very religious parts we don’t really give a shit as a precocious secular civilization.

West empire dominance periods is ending gradually, but still not ended.
It took Qing Dynasty 71 years (1840-1911) to end up since the real world knocked their door. How long it will take for the west empires? What should we see as the sign of a knocking bell?
After the ending of decay empire, it took China 37 years (1912-1949) to stand up together as one piece again. How long it will take for the west?
It took us another 70 years (1949-2019) to just feel a little bit relieved that one day finally we can face our ancestors calmly and peacefully, saying: shall we join you?
So totally it took China 178 years, 6~7 generations to come back. How long it will take for the west?
I have no idea since everything accelerated in recent 300~400 years.
One thing I can guarantee you is that it’s going to be really hurt! This is not a threat, not a warning, since we are not the ones to hurt you.
Another lesson we learned in history: usually barbarians hurt the civilized, but civilized don’t hurt the barbarians unless it’s a fight back.
Even the case of industrialization does not make an exception, since your tools and techniques can suddenly develop fast and goes far ahead of your barbaric civilization.
OK, again, I am being arrogant.
You see how powerful the cultural inertance can be, after the 200 years of waking up process, it still find the way easily back to the citizen’s mind.
So, just continue with your arrogance and ignorance, you are totally understood.

Even in a rigged system taking such a passive step as withdrawing completely from politics is a morally self-destructive step. The game is not over.

The real condemnation though, is for those who go for the same safe political choices when they know full well they are mendacious servants of the status quo. One can not exercise power if they are not ready to destroy that over which they have power, regardless of the consequences.

If people went for radical choices in politics (even if they individually achieved little) it might help capsize the whole rotten vessel.

Eastern Orthodoxy is superior to the West precisely in that it did not prioritize secular cultural productions – to fault it for that is to misunderstand the nature of its superiority.

Secular art and culture is derivative of spirituality and below it – as the West became more secular, it made a cult of art and literature, because this weakened form of spirituality was the only connection to the spirit it had left. It was a substitute religion, feebly grasping at spiritual things – until it too died in this century, and materialism fully triumphed.

Its amusing to see now people denigrating the East for not settling for a substitute religion when it still managed to hold onto a genuine mystical, ascetic religion – something the West cannot even conceive of anymore (I have found that well-meaning Westerners interested in a return to genuine religion literally have lost the capacity to understand what’s involved in mysticism or asceticism)

Why would anyone read Dickens when you could read the Psalms, Genesis, the Bhagavad Gita, the Dhammapada? Literature can be amusing and even profound – but compared to the task of spiritual self-refinement, it can only be a recreation.

I did that too when I was a younger atheist – only returning to religion made me realize the massive loss of dimension when you move from religious writing to secular, however deep.

The East should be proud that its spiritual culture remains religious, and that it never descended into the arts as a primary mode of spiritual connection, but kept the real thing.

But Jews murdered 8 million Ukrainians during those years, and while the Jews have made their suffering during the war a part of their religion, Ukrainians are completely ignorant of who murdered 8 million of them. I’m in Ukraine and I can attest to it. Similarly, Germans are completely ignorant of the level of suffering they underwent during and after the war due to the lies by the victors that Germans have not yet rejected and set straight.

Now, this is absurdly simplistic. I’d recommend a few rather serious works, rather than go into such shallow distortions.

And, apart from Russians- there are many creative people in various fields who are simply not well known because they write in “small” languages or their activity has been neglected due to various reasons. They simply are not “visible”. Though I don’t read fiction anymore, I recall reading brilliant works written in Irish, Polish, Hungarian, Yiddish, Norwegian,… basically no one has heard of.

Africans, on the other hand, seem to be an exception: https://menghublog.wordpress.com/2012/05/01/morality-and-abstract-thinking-how-africans-may-differ-from-westerners-gedaliah-braun/

Yea, Russian Jews love to tell these fairy tales. But neither the greatest Russian writers (Tolstoy, Dostoevsky, Gogol, Chekhov, Bulgakov, to mention just a few), nor greatest composers (Tchaikovsky, Mussorgsky, Glinka, etc.), nor the most prominent scientists who made groundbreaking advances in their fields (Mendeleev (periodic table of elements), Butlerov (structure of organic compounds), to give a few examples) were Jewish even in part.

Of course, there were many prominent figures in Russian culture of Jewish descent. Funny thing is, now that I can equally easily read Shakespeare’s sonnets in the original and in Russian translation, I see that Samuil Marshak’s (a Russian Jew) translations are way superior than the originals. Shakespeare was a great playwright (when you see his plays staged by a really good theater company, like Shakespeare company in London, you even forget that they are in Old English), but mediocre poet.

All worthwhile ideas, conclusions and theories are simple. Only they are of hefty worth. Russian simplicity and crudeness has worked for them very well, don’t you think? Luckily for them nuances are of no great importance else they would have never defeated much more culturally advanced and refined nations. Still saying that someone possess something when observable information says otherwise… well… was it worth mentioning it is the question here I guess. You can decide for yourselves. Have to say that watching Russians as people, they strike me as pliable, capricious, undisciplined with tendency and love for sexually depraved and deviant behavior; they seem to love corruption, are indulgent unless met with hostility, love miscegenation for which they are especially loved and cherished by masons just like Afros are. All of these are not kind of things great people of strong culture or civilization are made of. Have you noticed that these things are also what modern corrupted liberal ameros are made of? Of course, former generations that built America were of opposite worth. Why should these degeneracies, depravities, vices and foulness be celebrated or accepted? Why should kinds exhibiting these behavior be admired?

    Saker,

You’re not a good writer, and you’re not as smart as you think you are. If you’re going to use a colloquial phrase, use the correct one. “Last hurray,” is “last hurrah,” it’s a good ol’ American cowboy bromide. As for the rest of your trashing of Americans, here’s a much more churlish saying we have – go fuck yourself!

Everyone who calls out Anglo-Zionists always stops well short of actually calling out the Zionists. The stuffy white man in his stately manors is low hanging fruit. But an Ashkenazi Jewish banker like Nathan Rothschild or Paul Warburg fails to receive due credit for subverting the world economy. Nearly every American is disgusted by our politicians, both the corruption and the incompetence is enraging. National security advisors are appointed directly from the “defense industry” itself. Our “impartial” judges maintain reciprocal relationships with law firms in order to smoothly transition into lucrative private practice upon abdicating their judgeship. The FDA is ran by “former” and often concurrent pharmaceutical industry employees.

Being admonished for international policies I have no hand in is like being chided by Alexandria Occasio-Cortez about using electricity. I inherited the rot that is this empire in decline. The Federal Reserve System was fully implemented in 1913, a full 73 years before I was born. Senator Nelson Aldrich and the noble Senator Charles A. Lindbergh who opposed him were rotting corpses decades before my parents were even born.

America is a shell corporation, literally. The way it is organized and administered, down to the very fact that it has a corporate charter and articles of incorporation. The history of America is the history of hostile takeovers of the sovereign and totally separate States by The District of Columbia. A fourteen square mile seat of what his come to represent the spirit of dominion over the world. From this seat of power Amish dairy farmers are assailed by “special agents” from the FDA for not pasteurizing their milk. Let that sink in, truly appreciate the gravitas that the FDA has armed belligerents who are imbued with the authority to kill Amish farmers to “protect the public health interest”. This is the very same FDA that greenlit Oxycontin, Codeine, Vicodin, Xanax, Demerol, Adderall, Ritalin, every other widely abused narcotic and stimulant to hit the market in the past century.

The American empire doesn’t care about Americans, why do you think it would care about the rest of the world?

The astounding paradox of America is this. I am an American who hates “America” but loves the land that is America. It’s not some phony pablum about purple mountains majesty and amber waves of grain. I was born in the Rocky Mountains and live here still, I love the smell of Ponderosa pine on a hot summer day, and watching hummingbirds fight over wildflowers. I would do whatever is necessary to ensure that the wild beauty of this land remains. More and cheaper shit, Iphones and 8k L.E.D. TV’s aren’t what this country was founded on.

The small-souled bugmen don’t speak for the silent minority. We aren’t voters. We don’t consent to being ruled. We are the mountain men, farmers, survivalists, conspiracy theorists, and sovereigns of this land. I cheer the impending destruction of United States Inc, but I will fight to preserve America.

Clean air, clean water, clean food. And the fully realized development of Nikola Tesla’s Radiant Energy grid. This is how a Phoenix rises from the ashes.

Post-Zitadelle, the Germans suffered more losses than Soviets.

    Shameless nonsense.

German casualties, year 1944, including KIA, MIA, WIA, POWs= 1.947.106
Soviet casualties, year 1944, including KIA, MIA, WIA, POWs= 6.878.600
Ratio of Soviet : German losses for year 1944= 3.53

The reality is even worse, given that several Russian researchers have already concluded that the above Soviet figures from Colonel General G. Krivosheyev are understated.

Even in the devastating defeat the Germans suffered in White Russia in the summer of 1944, where Army Group Centre was basically wiped out, Soviet losses were still much worse than German losses, both in men and equipment. It gets even worse if only KIA and WIA are included, since the majority of German losses were POWs whereas most Soviet losses were KIA/WIA.
The battle cost the Germans nearly 400.000 casualties of which; 26.361 kia, 109.776 WIA, 262.959 MIA( mostly captured).
Soviet losses came at over 180.000 kia/mia( mostly killed) and 591.000 WIA, or over 770.000 casualties.
The attacking Soviet forces were quite larger and possessed ample superiority in artillery, armor and airpower.

Yeah, about this “unlucky” factor. It is also known among educated people as geopolitics and warfare. Hence the imbalance. This statement is legitimate in regards to Eastern Orthodoxy–in comparison to West it was bare. But as I said not for once, going over, as an example, say, Berlin without correlating his otherwise enjoyable prose to Russia’s 20th century (even despite the fact that Berlin rebukes Bertrand Russell for his explanation of the nature of Bolshevism to Lady Ottoline Morrell) history, not to mention to her 21st century one is an exercise in futility and an exhibit A of (pseudo) intellectual masturbation. I am sure Rimbaud or Flaubert are delightful when are read in native tongue, but it was Russian cosmism from Fyodorov to Tsiolkovsky which broke humanity into space (no relation to mathematics and physics at all) and, actually, makes Europe increasingly pale in this 21st century across the board, especially culturally. Huns, Anglo Germanics, filthy Turkic nomads (most notorious of which are the Turks) and Slavs are blight upon the world (only Slavs I have good opinion of are Polacks and Slovaks who stayed and never tried to spread beyond their naive lands, all other kinds of Slavs are blight which must be eradicated). Nobody likes them invasive species. Do you know that east Asians (Japanese, Koreans and Chinese) despise Slavs, those Turkic Muslimes and Germanic Anglos also? So do native Americans. So much for symbiosis this 5th rate propagandist speaks of. Russkies fear their greatest weakness, their meager numeros. I believe they are aware of it. They should be. In today’s Russia c.80% of populace is Russian. Do you know what happens once that number dwindles down to 50%? Disintegration. There are many provinces in Russia which are held inside Russia by force and coercion, as Russians are a small minority there. Chechenia and Dagestan are fine examples. So Crimeans can get their referenda right and thress their will if they want to live in Russia, but Chechenians and Dagestanis do not: they are forced against their will to live in Russia. That doesn’t sound right, does it? Some kinds and humanoid species need less of their numbers to force their way, as is the case with Africans who are insufferable even at 10% as Europeans in America are finding out. That said, I wonder how long will Russkies be able to hold that gargantuan landmass for themselves after taking it from its indigenous people. What would intelligent policy be in respect to Russia? Intelligent policy would be to force Turks to migrate to their native lands. As Turks come, Russia disintegrates. As Russia disintegrates, all those countless ethnicitis held there will finally be free from tyrannical oppression, devastation, colonization they have been subjected to. Don’t we all yearn for freedom?

To be a true Slav means to be a rebel, rebel against the arrogance and the ignorance of the West, who fell in love with themselves long time ago and now that love is only turning pathological – hence the fa***try problem in the west.

No, honestly, being Orthodox, forces a Slav to be a rebel, Catholicism gets in the way of allowing Slavs to be rebels. Catholic Slavs are seduced by the phantasmagoria of their own delusions that Catholicism makes them “part of the west”.

Sure, the only thing that Catholicism turns Slavs into – is fierce butt kissers, hence they are lost to the rebel Slav cause. West is not worthy of butt kissing, they are worthy of butt-kicking, and the only Slavic country that has ever been able to do that on more than one occasion – is mother Russia. And I’ll repeat here again – it’s a source of enormous pride for me that I share part of my genome with the Russians.

In either case, that person would be well advised to consult a psychiatrist (not a shrink, nor any other quack) ASAP and then take his/her medications regularly. No, I was just being ironic and darkly at that. So, no, you are not dense and you correctly picked the issue up. Of course, there is metaphysical and philosophical part to space exploration but it is, of course, primarily scientific and industrial development of the highest order. My point was and is that while the West laid foundation to modern science, it is by far NOT the whole modern science and even completely singled out issue of space exploration covers things and technologies which are, BTW, today beyond the grasp of this very same West. Just a single fact, among many: in 1918, right in the middle of Civil War, Zhukovsky storms Lenin’s office and demands to build TSAGI. Lenin obliges:

    http://tsagi.com/institute/history/

After that, in 100 years USSR/Russia created flying machines of which today combined West can only dream about. How much credit TZAGI gets publicly in the West? Near Zero. Professionals know the significance of it, public does not. I can sit here and name for hours one after another field in which Russia leads the West–most of that being simply ignored (often deliberately) in the West. From materials to aerospace, to global positioning, to weapons. It is just to illustrate how tenuous all those “comparisons” are when are done outside proper framework, especially adjusted for time.

  238. @Andrei Martyanov

Let’s be honest. There are areas of science where Russia (in all her incarnations, the Empire, the USSR, and now the Federation) was and still is fairly strong. These include math, physics, chemistry, materials science, engineering (all of these combined are necessary for weapons design and production). Today math and physics departments in leading US universities have a lot of faculty born and educated in Russia (mostly in the USSR).

However, there are areas where Russia, again in all her incarnations, was and is behind. These include molecular biology and biochemistry, cell biology, and quite a few other branches of biological sciences. While China today is investing a lot of money to catch up and ultimately get ahead in these areas, Russia does not. I believe this is a strategic mistake. Naturally, as a biochemist and cell biologist interested in signaling, I am biased.

While China today is investing a lot of money to catch up and ultimately get ahead in these areas, Russia does not.

It is Triskin Kaftan type situation for everyone. Russia, most likely, views China as a good source of those technologies and research. In material science, though…well, you get the idea: quid-pro-quo. The world today is increasingly complex and any historic parallels and references should be made with a great caution.

Actually, Novocaine during serious tooth operations was dispatched but it also depended on locality and, most of the time, they offered no anesthetic during filling jobs. 248. @Sergey Krieger

My first dental experience with anesthesia was in the US. Here everything costs a lot more: a simple crown is ~$600, an implant even more. Luckily (for those who have it) insurance pays most of it. Actually, it usually adjusts the price down a lot more than it pays, but that’s none of your concerns – bottom line is, you end up paying maybe $60-80. However, the insurance always looks for pretexts not to pay. Say, implants, that were around for more than two decades and are FDA-approved, are still considered by insurance as “experimental treatment”, and therefore it does not pay for implants or even crowns you place on them. It also pays for tooth cleaning only once a year, all the other times (I do it once in 3-4 months) you pay yourself.

Still, anesthesia is good, and, as I told my dentist, I can make more money, but I cannot make more teeth.

  249. @Andrei Martyanov

Sorry, but you know better: West created the modern universal world. It is indisputable. We’re talking about the whole period from, say, 10th to 20th C. Those things you mention are simply not strong enough, revolutionary or tested.

I don’t see it as anything mysterious. West had more people (especially after colonial expansion) & many of these people were free to move, explore, enjoy, try… while Eastern Christianity had beeen always defending itself, mostly from barbaric Asians (Mongols & Turks & various Muslims), plus imperialist Western excursions (French, Germans, Poles, Swedes,…).

  250. You overlook the large number of Anglo collaborators with the Zionists. There are the Dispensationalist born-again Protestants, the cynical hangers-on and courtiers, the outright traitors and allies in the ruling classes … the list goes on.

Without the collaborators, Judeo-Naziism would have no teeth. Anglo-Zionist is an accurate description of the phenomenon in this country.

Those things you mention are simply not strong enough, revolutionary or tested.

I don’t know where you live, but it is obvious that you do not communicate on a regular basis with “deplorables” and do not experience “not strong enough” level of decline which is explicit across the board: cultural, economic, moral, aesthetic and other levels. In fact, the rate of descend into degeneracy is astonishing. Yet, you continue to insist on some facts, which I do not dispute, while matter-of-factly talking about 20th century which is stand-out in every single metric in human history. You metrics and tools for passing judgment are not exactly precise, to put it mildly, that is why you continue with this, correct but grossly un-nuanced sweeping generalization on history. I’ll give you a hint–within short time confines of a Cold War 1.0 the technological, scientific and cultural development alone surpassed everything what was accomplished before in human history combined with impact om human civilization of a such scale that speaking of Thomas Aquinas or Emil Zolya is simply irrelevant against the background of nuclearism and other challenges humanity faces today. Moreover, in this world (universal, globalist, however you want to call it) modern West increasingly becomes irrelevant and not equipped for dealing with them (challenges). In fact, the West is not the West anymore since completely rejected the notion of a rational thought, not to speak of dramatic (astonishing really) decline of its cognitive faculties and expertise. What I just listed here is also history, a contemporary one and it was to a large degree predetermined by this very West’s evolution in 20th century. In conclusion: Georgi Zhukov once prophetically stated:”We liberated them and they will hate us for that.”

    What are you talking about?

Most artistic & scientific culture is Western:

    * sonnet
    * opera
    * all musical instruments (organ, piano, violin,…)
    * musical notation
    * modern mathematical notation
    * all early modern to modern arms (various guns, canons, rifles, machine guns, planes, tanks, missiles, computer systems in those functions,..)
    * universal calendar
    * all modern sciences & all important discoveries (Newton, Gauss, Mendel, Maxwell, Planck, Einstein, Heisenberg, Dirac, Watson, …). From mathematics & physics to genetics & medicine:
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_historic_inventions
    * Tsiolkowsky was doubtlessly very important, but so were Goddard, Oberth, von Ardenne, Korolyov & von Braun.

Frankly, I don’t see rational argument here, and to think that early Soviet (and post-Soviet) societies have advantage over Western (Europe & US) in most forms of science, technology, socio-economic organization & culture now (past 10 centuries I’ve mentioned) – this is completely irrational.

But here is the thing, the “retard” Slavs can wipe the West out in a heartbeat with the “inferior” Slav Military technology…….

Practically any western “historian” today will continue stubbornly with the notion that ideas ONLY matter, while trying, often out ignorance or deliberately, to ignore the main factor which shaped human history–violence, conflict. Most of those “historians” also, for some reason, fail to recognize that ideas translate into material (productive) forces and those forces built weapons. Modern weapons are a pinnacle of intellectual-scientific and industrial development. It is a sad reality but it is what it is. So today, when combined West lost the arms race and is losing it, with few remaining exceptions, across the board it starts the same ol’ tune about how it created (it did) modern world while trying to avoid responsibility for also royally fvcking it. It could have been different, but it didn’t happen. Now, having Slavic (Russian, what have you) gun at its own temple–they get desperate.

Again, you are stuck on your argument which I do not dispute (for a reading person like you it is fascinating how you miss this caveat repeated several times by me already)–again, when was the last time you visited such shitholes as San Francisco or saw what Seattle became? Repeating ad nauseam names of Einstein, Dirak or Maxwell doesn’t address main question which I raise in a front of you–how this great West turned out to be an increasing shithole, with no go zones, emasculated men a cabal of current “thinkers” who are the embodiment of mediocrity and ignorance. Again, West as you know it died between 1914-1945, period. It is also becoming less and less competitive. How is fvcking Dirak related to a homo totalitarian reality and sexual perversion of this current West? So, will you continue to list Western men (and women) of note or will you get to the answering the question how and why West today what it is.

West is in crisis. But this was not the question; it was who dominated re accomplishments in history, Western or Eastern Christianity historical-cultural area.

You simply missed the question. We can analyze ad nauseam why is West now in crisis, but there is no doubt that even in crisis-affluent West (US, Canada, Germany, Britain, Italy, France, Scandinavia,..) is far superior to the lands of Eastern Christians (Russia, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Ukraine,..). Everybody wants to go to that faggy, decadent & pedo West, while no one would go to Eastern Christian historical lands. And I won’t even mention other races & cultures.

Of course I don’t know how all will end (and what “the end” means), but this was not the topic of the thread.

  257. @Andrei Martyanov

Yes…and that’s the core idea of Sci Fi novel Starship Troopers…and the movie Starship Troopers…Interestingly, the author of Stormship Troopers was a former US Naval Officer…..I don’t remember who he served under…Halsey?…Nimitz,…..Rickover?…It was one of the aforementioned……Thank God that Russia has not decayed in to the SATANIC FAGGOTRY of the West…..

You really have to keep yourself situationaly aware. For starters it is not black and white, it is especially true about Russia and Russians. This is not to mention the fact that this very Russia is a number two globally immigration destination. When have you been last time in Russia? In Moscow, St.Pete, Yekaterinburg or Vladivostok? Who do you know in Russia with the exception of same ol’ media figures (primarily of Western-orientation)? So, no–by far not everybody “wants to go to this pedo, faggy and decadent West”–let’s not make sweeping generalizations. In fact, some of those in the West, strangely, have some bizarre thoughts descending on them.

    https://www.marianne.net/debattons/tribunes/une-vision-geopolitique-faussee-et-sterile-prive-l-europe-de-son-indispensbale

We can analyze ad nauseam why is West now in crisis, but there is no doubt that even in crisis

Who said “no doubt” and “who” wants? People from varied shitholes? Sure. Have you’ve been to Redmond lately? Have you followed news from US or Europe lately? So, if you think that discussing “ad nauseam” THE existential question is not worth the effort, then sure–what’s the point of dwelling on the issue on which we have no disagreement? But I’ll give you a hint–when Russia launched nuclear-powered Petrel (Burevestnick) in 2018, people in the know were shaken to the core. You know why? Because the issue of nuclear-powered flight was resolved. This means only one thing: upcoming (separate blocks’ prototypes already exist) space flight with much higher speeds–into the not insignificant fraction of the speed of light. That means exploration and exploitation of Solar System and beyond. That means new civilizational order and economics. West’s crisis, however, is existential, it is systemic and I am not sure it could be resolved. In fact, I know so–I can see who constitutes modern Western “elite”.

You, conveniently or not, omit the fact that most of of the Orthodox nations listed above (Romania is missing) were for a very long time, some until very late into the 19th century, part of the Ottoman Empire.

What kind of development do you expect from someone ruled by, measured by the metrics of the 19th century, a historical anomaly as the Ottoman Empire?

We are talking here about a lag of more then 300 years relative to the Western part of Europe.

Fascination? I actually have an equivalent of M.S. in naval engineering (with specialty in gyro-inertial navigational complexes of naval strategic missile systems) and B.S, in military science which is not awarded in US. So, it is not a “fascination” it is a very good idea about development of productive forces. This is not mention that it is precisely the issue related to global strategic balance (or otherwise) which is slightly, just teeny-weeny bit more important than music of Bach or writings of Thomas Aquinas, because in the times when they wrote (both music and thoughts) it didn’t matter–today it defines our existence. Including an ongoing warfare ranging from economic wars of annihilation to actual wars with millions dead and displaced. yet, somehow, I am “fascinated”. Actually, knowing the nature of conflict today is a matter of survival, not of fascination.

Since the Slavs arrived relatively late in Europe, they inhabited the “suburbs” of Europe – so to speak -thus providing protection – they had no choice, geography took care of that – for Western Europe.

So, practically, western Europe was safely cocooned by the Slavs and had opportunity to develop (and degenerate) undisturbed by foreign invasions.

Now the tables have turned somewhat. Western Europe is in position to provide that safety barrier for Eastern Europe from the 3rd world hordes.

And instead of returning the favor, the West is falling apart right in front of everybody’s eyes and cannot be trusted to produce that buffer zone between the 3rd world and Eastern Europe. I have no sympathy for them and their degeneracy, I only wish they were capable of protecting us – the Eastern Europe, like we once protected them.

Now that’s another way to put it. Plus, do not forget also that classic geopolitics as born by Mackinder and developed by primarily Western thinkers became largely (not all) irrelevant in the times of computer networks and hypersonic stand-off weapons. In this framework Europe is not even a competitor being military-technologically a rather second rate (politely speaking). This is even more astonishing that never in my life did I see so much scorn, contempt and revulsion I saw among Russians towards the combined West. It is simply unprecedented. Moreover, among young people. Cold War 1.0 had a completely different cultural outlook.

  266. @Bardon Kaldian

“I don’t see it as anything mysterious. West had more people (especially after colonial expansion) & many of these people were free to move, explore, enjoy, try… while Eastern Christianity had beeen always defending itself, mostly from barbaric Asians (Mongols & Turks & various Muslims), plus imperialist Western excursions (French, Germans, Poles, Swedes,…).”

    OK. My bad.

No one disputes that “the West” has defined, designed and built the realm that we all live in. Also, no one disputes that not even 30 years ago the Western model was universally adopted as a metric for all to emulate. We all remember the “end of history” quote. So, you are certainly right about that.

But, on the other hand, it seems that this model is in deep economic and social crisis that inevitably creeps into a deep moral crisis.

Reasons for this are many, but probably the main one is the model’s existential need for ever rising profits and GDP, only exasperated by adoption of absurd quarterly targeting, in an environment of finite demand and finite resources. I should add that most of the much needed and anticipated technological and scientific breakthroughs, clean and cheap energy generation comes to mind, simply did not materialize while time is running out.

Unfortunately, there is nothing that comes even close to being an alternative or a way out.

The farcical attempts to re-create, under these circumstances, the Cold War narrative and re-define themselves as the “good guys” versus “the barbaric villain” RF, is what is probably unnerving Russians the most.

As the popular phrase puts it, “if you believe that unlimited growth is possible, you are either mad, or an economist”.

Now, if we take a birds-eye view of recent history, both Soviet-style “socialism” (which in reality was state capitalism) and “free market” capitalism (where market in reality is anything but free, the system is predominantly monopolistic financial = parasitic capitalism) are bankrupt as social systems. It is just the part of the answer (issue), by far most unnerving is a dramatic decline of Western elite (especially in US–Europe is irrelevant here) which lacks any grasp of military balance issues and, actually, bought into own narrative. The danger here is not that “West” is so strong, but precisely because it is so weak. So far, the United States stayed away from open confrontation with Russia and even then, largely because of US military’s better grasp of the real score, but considering the level; of infestation of American decision-making circuit with neocon lunatics, one has to be seriously concerned. As Ron Ridenour once succinctly observed–current Administration is filled with Dr. Strangeloves. Most of who, accidentally, never served a day in uniform and have the understanding of military power about the same as I have understanding of Mandarin language.

Why would Swedes, Scots and Dutch have some special love for each other? Why would Romance language speakers, Italians, Portuguese, Romanians & French have some special sympathy or connections?

Then, you don’t know Croatian historical ideologies (not a big deal, because it is of not some importance). Basically, Croatian national unification was undertaken through the use of pan-Slavic ideologies, where fictive “Illyrian” name was fluctuating between Croats proper, all South Slavs & all Slavs.
Chief names are Vinko Pribojević (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vinko_Pribojevi%C4%87), Juraj Križanić (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juraj_Kri%C5%BEani%C4%87) and finally Illyrian movement (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Illyrian_movement). Are you out of f**king mind? Pan-Slavism is not artificial or unnatural idea imposed on people who have little in common. English, Dutch, German and so on have never spoken a common language in the past. Slavs spoke one language as late as 11th century.

Cyril and Methodius when they invented their alphabet went to Moravia to try to spread it there. Why – because the language was the same.

At that point in time ALL Slavs spoke one language. From the Urals to the Baltic Sea and down to the Adriatic and the Black sea. If the language was the same – so where the people.

Personally, I don’t care too much about you, the Croats; you can claim that you are from another planet for all I care. The fact that you deny that you are Slavs, shows that you are people without dignity.

No one else does that. Ukrainians, Polish, Russians, Czechs, Serbs, Bulgarians, we are all proud to be Slavs. Some of them might have some other delusions about their place in Europe, but no one questions their Slavic origins. It’s only you and the Bosnian Muslims who have doubts. That shows that things are not quite right with both of your “nations”.

Well, I couldn’t care less what you or similar crackpots think of me (or my people). The point is that although mutual intelligibility among various Slavic languages is higher than among Teutonic or Romance languages, Slavophone peoples never spoke one language. It was a cluster of various vernacular dialects which was not intelligible at all; only literary language based on one dialect, those of Macedonian Slavs of Thessaloniki, was for some time used as a literary language for some Slavic peoples. The religious split was fundamental, because Slavia Orthodoxa was stuck with that dialect for almost to the 18th C, and Slavia Romana went on to standardize their own languages based on their vernaculars at least 2-3 centuries earlier.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Church_Slavonic_language

As or Croats, this was a literary language for some time, the most prominent being the Baška Tablet:

    http://www.croatianhistory.net/etf/et03.html

    Croatian Glagolitic Script

    But, since this artificial language was too different in phonetics, phonology, syntax, morphology,….from various Croatian vernaculars, it fell in disuse beginning with the 13th & 14th C;

    https://www.revolvy.com/page/Vatican-Croatian-Prayer-Book

    Vatican Croatian Prayer Book

with crucial flourishing in the 16thC, that got rid of Church-Slavic cultural adstrate.

Basically, all Slavic languages had been emancipated from the fossil Chruch Slavic, which was barely understood in what are now Slovenia, Poland and Czechia, and the process of emancipation took place in different places & and different circumstances- in all cases it was the victory for the local vernacular.

This POV certainly has the right to exist and you are correct in a sense that there are still lunatics in those “elites” who think that some kind of reissue of rotten system is possible–they are wrong. Moreover, no champagne bottle for me for a number of reasons–most important of them is a very real danger of war lunatics in the West may try to unleash out of desperation–and the desperation is palpable. On a personal note, I am also not jubilant seeing many things I love and value in the West turning into ash, or shitholes.

  278. @Sergey Krieger

I am not sure about that. Hysteria about “enemies of the people” appears to have been whipped up to create a pretext for jailing anyone w/o bothering with proof. Most cases of so-called sabotage (вредительство) simply reflected incompetence of leadership.

Still, from my perspective, Stalin did several positive things. Extermination of “old Bolshevik guard” was one of them. Regular execution of heads of NKVD was another. In some cases he even showed too much softness. For example, instead of hanging every one of Bandera followers and those who served in Waffen SS division Galitchina he imprisoned many. They were later released and continued their pro-Nazi activities.

BTW, we have to remember that the system had strengths that explain certain successes at the times when a clearly inferior person was at the helm. For example, the first satellite (the word “sputnik” was adopted by many languages) was launched in 1957, and the first man was sent to the outer space in 1961. Both events happened in Khrushchev’s period, but it does not mean that they were his achievements. The same applies to Stalin’s period.

Thanks for those links. I’ll look when I have time. For now let me mention the book In Hitler’s Germany: Everyday Life in the Third Reich by Bernt Engelmann “with a Foreword by Studs Terkel” (whoever that is/was) and the German titles of the original 2-volume book. According to the blurb on the back cover (paperback) writing of the author “He was 12 when Hitler came to power and he spent the next twelve years as part of a network which helped Hitler’s victims, especially Jews, to escape.” Half of that time while he was at school, but he later became a radio operator in the Luftwaffe.

The book gives an on-the-ground report of Kristallnacht, which in this translation by Krishna Winston is “the Night of Broken Glass”. It was a surprise that came up when his family was living in upper rooms of a “house” in the northern part of Düsseldorf. that had Jewish tenants on the ground floor. From pp. 117ff.:

[His mother] went to bed early, but I stayed up reading. … At first I paid no attention to the dull thuds that seemed to be coming from the wall. … When I opened the door to the stairwell, I could clearly hear the sound of axe-blows, and wood splintering, and broken glass tinkling.

He mentions the frightened words of a woman who had come out of the apartment next door on his floor. She was whispering. Everyone had to whisper lest heard by the Gestapo or someone not known to be safe, I guess.

I asked her what she meant, and she hesitated before telling me in a low voice: ‘There are Jews on the ground floor.’

    He goes on:

I ran down the stairs. One the landing above the ground floor [he stopped and looked down]… The door to one of the apartments stood open. Glass … and a chest of drawers had been hacked to pieces. I heard a cupboard full of dishes and glassware fall over with a crash. More axe-blows followed.

(There’s much I’m skipping, carnage described in detail, children shrieking etc.) He looks up the stairwell, sees the whispering woman, and calls up to her, “Call the police!” But she shook her head.

‘The police are right outside,’ she replied, but only just load enough for me to hear.

He walks into the apartment because he mother had appeared in her bathrobe and said if he didn’t she would. There he sees

A young man in high brown boots [stealing a silver candelabra]. A second {slashing a painting on the wall].

He shouts at them. (“I heard myself shouting.”)

Fortunately they were hardly older than I, only seventeen or eighteen, and I had the advantage of surprise, for in all the racket they had not heard me come in.

They call for help from their squadron leader. A man came out of the bedroom.

Behind him I spotted for a fraction of a second a terrified face, and then someone darted past us to the apartment door.

An exchange of words. The author walks out of the apartment.

Much more. The crowd outside shouting at the police there. The robbers emerge and drive away in a lorry, and at that the crowd grumble more loudly at the police for doing nothing. Interaction of the author with one of the police, who then walks away, shouting at the crowd. Engelmann goes back into his apartment, speaks to his mother, is surprised that someone else is there. Mother speaks:

It’s their daughter. She’s hardly more than a child. … Her parents should be coming home any moment. …You have to warn them and tell them the girl is here with us.

The author doesn’t know the parents. His mother describes them. Several paragraphs of the meeting while walking down the street before they reached home. He warns them against going into the wreckage of their home, learns from them of friends that they had just been visiting, phones them, first checking that the friends are both Aryan, and walks there with the couple, describing the turmoil in the streets, other small crowds indicating other locations where something similar is happening.

On the way home he sees a man who has been shot fall out of a window, and more.

He doesn’t seem to say it was the young daughter who escaped from the bedroom when the squad leader came out. He goes for a ride on his bike and it’s happening everywhere.

On Sternstrasse I braked just in time to avoid and entire X-ray machine that came hurtling out of a second-floor window. A heat lamp hit the pavement with a load crash, and all sorts of instruments came raining down after it.

    He continues:

From Sternstrasse I bicycled to the centre of town. All the Jewish stores I was familiar with presented the same picture: smashed widows, vandalized interiors, the goods plundered or tossed out onto the street. …

Then he mentions the glow of fire he saw in the sky and it was a synagogue

which had fallen victim to ‘a spontaneous outbreak of the peoples’ rage’, as we heard over the radio the next day. In actuality, the ‘people’ … were horrified at this act of barbarism. The police and firemen stood by without lifting a finger. [Except that they shouted at the crowds to go away.]

There’s more. He rescues a woman and child from off the street, takes them to one of his group, the network mentioned in the back cover blurb, who is housing many such just then, etc, etc.

Western world via Islamic mathematics through the work of Muḥammad ibn Mūsā al-Khwārizmī.[8][9] Islamic mathematics, in turn, developed and expanded the mathematics known to these civilizations.

There were quite a few of those, in the same time, we should also remember that much of this math knowledge which came into the early Islamic world from Orient was due to Nestorian monks translating those texts and those from the Ancient Greece and Rome. In this sense, contribution by early Islamic world to mathematics was significant. It all ended, of course, once A’Sharites got a firm hold on Islam. After that–it was West which drove it all, until it all resulted in Newtonian Mechanics and Newton-Leibniz fundamental theorem of Calculus. We know the rest pretty much after that.

That would be nice as an ideal. You are right, “isms” don’t matter much, “isms” affect propaganda but don’t change the reality.

The problems are: a) how would this state of affairs emerge from today’s world; b) what mechanisms would make it stable; after all, in the past numerous tiny states existed, but were invariably conquered by the most ruthless predators among them and combined into aggressive empires; c) how will goods and services in these communities be distributed to keep them stable and prosperous. There are many other problems, but these are the most glaring.

Maybe, maybe not. The real problem is the Tribe. The white genocide project is mostly limited to the Western nations today but the final plan includes all whites. Russia is a white nation.

    Precisely. This is an absurdity.

How about local Direct Democratic capitalism/socialism (or whatever the locals decide that they want) combined with a respect for their patch of the Earth – its habitat and wildlife.

There are many other problems, but these are the most glaring.

    a) Not clear at all. If things get really confused, local communities could just opt out and start to look after their own affairs (and fund them).

    b) Stability would come from a strong national definition of local county/state political rights and obligations. Also rules for the interaction of states and rules for passports, common currency, national military service etc (with power always held at the lowest practical level).

    c) There wouldn’t be any economic borders between counties/states but there would be a duality in local politics. For example 70% of meetings and votes could concern local issues (schools, healthcare, policing etc.) and 30% national issues such as borders, immigration, military service, gay marriage, currency , banking, credit etc. The national issue votes would take place in all communes with the final tally becoming national law and funding coming from all communes to support the joint agreed national decision.

There’s nothing vey original here. It’s more or less the system that the Swiss have been running successfully for centuries.

There is no “pan-” thing between English and Germans. Nor between Danes and Germans. There is no need for such a thing among adult nations. This may work only for some time, and only for not yet grown up peoples.

Right. Between the “adult” nations the unifying force is the Catholic church. Luckily, you the Croats had the presence of mind to get membership in that prestigious institution which helped you to transform yourself into “better” people than the rest of the Slavs. Heck, the Catholic membership allowed you to advance so much, to the point of becoming so much better than the rest of the Slavs that you felt confident enough to declare that you are not even Slavs anymore. As I said before I think you are all mental. I don’t care about you as a nation, but I think it’s time that you start paying us royalties for allowing you to use one of our languages – Serbian.

Slavia Romana & Slavia Orthodoxa are two types of Christianity, both foreign to Slavophone peoples – one from Greece, the other from Rome. Slavic speaking peoples just adopted those types of Europeanized mid-Eastern religion & that’s all. Nothing particularly “Slavic” in Eastern or Western Christianity.

As for languages, I’v said long since- Serbian language does exist. It is Croatian for dummies, some kind of primitive variant of Croatian language.

In any case Soviet experience and lessons will have to be used both in regards to planned economy, rights and obligations that people enjoyed, power structure and checks and balances, ownership of the assets, resources and means of production to ensure the best from that experience is used and the worst and wrong discarded. Otherwise any attempt to do anything absolutely new will end in another failure. The question of power and how those who hold it get chosen, educated and changed is most important to prevent what happened in USSR. Also, it is considered that people can only drive a car after study and license process while it looks like everybody who can get elected can try to drive states. Illogical.

America’s finest moments were when she was led by Cal Coolidge. it should be obvious to everyone that the Kennedys were nominal Catholics.

  295. Corvinus says:

“But first, let’s define our terms. For all the self-aggrandizing nonsense taught in western schools, Western civilization does not have its roots in ancient Rome or, even less so, in ancient Greece. The reality is that the Western civilization was born from the Middle-Ages in general and, especially, the 11th century which, not coincidentally, saw the following succession of moves by the Papacy:”

You mean YOU are defining the terms for yourself. To the contrary, Western Civilization has its roots from ancient Greek and Roman traditions, as well as the Roman Catholic faith. It is beyond question. But feel free to erect your false premise and subsequent narrative. Essentially, you crafted an opinion.

An old population that’s getting ever older and starting to dwindle in number, would not seem conducive to taking, let alone holding, new territory.
