For nothing is hidden that will not be made manifest, nor is anything secret that will not be known and come to light

Holy Gospel according to Saint Luke (8:17)

There’s an old saying in Tennessee — I know it’s in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can’t get fooled again.

George W Bush

In April of 2014 I wrote an article entitled “How the Ukrainian crisis will eventually bring down the AngloZionist Empire” in which I made a list of the similarities between the Soviet Union of the 1980s and Obama’s USA and wrote the following:

What the AngloZionist are openly and publicly defending in the Ukraine is the polar opposite of what they are supposed to stand for. That is an extremely dangerous thing to do for any regime and the AngloZionist Empire is no exception to that rule. Empire often crumble when their own people become disillusioned and disgusted with massive discrepancy between what the ruling elites say and what they do. And as a result, it is not so much that the Empire is faced with formidable enemies as it is the fact that nobody is willing to stand up – nevermind die – in defense of it.

Over two years later, watching the Presidential race between Trump and Hillary I am amazed to see how deep and “in your face” the habit of lying, denying the obvious, deceiving and otherwise misrepresenting has permeated the US political discourse.

First and foremost, there is the absolutely unabashed way the corporate Ziomedia is bashing Trump without even so much as a pretense of objectivity or truthfulness. Of course, I always knew that the US propaganda machine was lying and that the media was owned by the US deep state, but at least there was this thin veneer or pseudo-objectivity, of having “both sides” heard. Now this is over. When dealing with Trump, we have Orwell’s “Two Minutes of Hate” but spread over 24/7. Not that Trump does not deserve some of it, he sure does, but compared to how real scumbags like the Clintons are treated, the lynching of Trump is, I believe, unprecedented and unique. Why does it matter? Because now the masks have been taken off, the pretenses removed, and what you see is the true face of the corporate media as it always was: hateful, hypocritical and totally corrupted. And since a truly free and independent media is central to a functioning democracy, then the total corruption of the media in the US is also the proof that this country does not have a functioning democracy.

Second, there are the completely surreal events happening in Syria: the US betrayal of the agreement signed with Russia, the US threats to attack Syria (in total illegality), the crocodile tears about the humanitarian situation in Aleppo (and the blind eye to Yemen), the mind-blowing hypocrisy of the US wanting to take the Syrians and the Russians to an international criminal court for war crimes, the now absolutely open support for al-Qaeda (aka al-Nusra, aka Jabhat Fateh al-Sham aka Daesh) and the threats to arm them, the open threats by Admiral Kirby to have Russian aircraft shot down, Russian cities bombed and Russians soldiers come back in body bags – we now see an Administration which has gone completely “mental” over Syria and which does not even know what it is doing. To say that the 1000-4000 US servicemen and contractors currently deployed in Syria are “serving their country” or “defending democracy” or “our way of life” is simply laughable and everybody knows that. But nobody says a word about it. In fact, their presence in Syria is hardly ever mentioned.

This Kafkaesque slouching towards war with Russia is simply never discussed by any pundit or media outlet. It’s like it’s not happening, but of course it is happening, right before our eyes. The Russian officials speak about this every day, so does the Russian media, it is one of the most discussed topics on TV, and yet in the “land of the brave home of the free” this is a kind of Orwellian “untopic” which, by consensus, has no existence, no reality and no relevance: The Neocons’ crazy policies risk turning the US into a gigantic pile of radioactive ashes, but the topic which preoccupies everybody is Trump’s potty-mouth about women.

I don’t know about you, but I see more nobility in the Titanic’s chamber orchestra playing the waltz “Songe d’Automne” as long as the ship could still float then in the pathetic spectacle which the (equally sinking) AngloZionist Empire offers to us today.

On the external front, the Empire is also doubling down on its lies. Here are a few headlines which were recently seen in 5th columnist newspapers in Russia and their colleagues abroad:

Headline Reality
Patriarch Kirill bans abortions in Russia” Patriarch Kirill, along with other religious leaders, signed a statement saying that abortions should not be paid for by the state.
Russian women will be forced to give birth”
Employees will be fired for using Whatsapp or similar messaging services” State employee are banned from using messaging services to transmit work-related or classified information.
Tolstoi and Dostoevsky are now banned from Russian schools” Various officials are discussing in what grade Russian classical authors should be studied.

These are just a few recent examples. Such garbage is published by the pro-western “yellow” press in Russia and by the western corporate media on an almost daily basis.

Of course, the Neocons have always ruled “by way of deception”, as did the Anglo rulers of the British Empire, but in modern Russia they are now hitting a number of obstacles which greatly complicates their work:

1) Putin has done an excellent job of slowly but surely booting out the worst russophobes from the main Russian TV and radio channels. Of course, some are left, very deliberately (I explain the reason for that in detail here) but they surely don’t control the media like they did in the 1990s.

2) In the age of the Internet, it takes just days to debunk the lies of Uncle Sam, the Neocons or the Russian 5th columnists (for the latest example see here).

ORDER IT NOW

3) Russians remember the 1990s and they follow very closely what is happening across the border in the Nazi occupied Ukraine and they realize that what the Ukraine is undergoing today is what Russia had to suffer in the 1990s and would have to live through again if the pro-western forces ever came back to power. In a way, you could say that the Russians have been “vaccinated” against the AngloZionist propaganda.

I think that while the situation is still much worse in the US, there are also some very encouraging signs that the lies are beginning to wear off. While there are still millions who believe the Idiot-Box or simply don’t have the energy to think any more, there are also millions who are thoroughly disillusioned, cynical, disgusted and angry at the parasitic elites which rule over them. By and large, the corporate media is deeply distrusted. As for journalists, they are about as respected as lawyers and medical doctors (amazing how these two noble professions got completely discredited by their practitioners in just a few decades!). We can speculate for hours over whether Trump still has a chance to win the next election or not, but I submit that, judging by their panicked actions, the Neocons clearly believe that he might. And that terrifies them. The are clearly afraid that those whom they consider as their dumb serfs might revolt against their rule (as has happened so many times in history).

I know that there are many out there who do not trust Trump. And I agree with them. I don’t trust him either. However, while I do not “trust” Trump, I admit that it is possible that he really might be a President who would put the interests of the American people first, and the interests of the AngloZionist Empire a distant second. The history of empires is full of situations were one part of the ruling class turned against the other one (SA vs SS, Trotskists vs Stalinists, etc.). There is no reason to dismiss a priori the possibility that there is a schism inside the US deep state, that one part wants to save the Empire as the expense of the US (the Neocons) and another wants to save the US at the expense of the Empire (the Trump supporters). Again, I did not say that this is likely, only that I admit that this is possible. And if that is really a possibility, could it not also be possible that the American people would deliberately vote against their own mass media and political elites, just like the British people chose the Brexit in total defiance of the official doxa? That all the Trump-bashing actually could help him get elected?

Could it be that after losing Russia to their lies, the Neocons will now lose the United States to their apparently incurable propensity to rule by deception?

For years I used to dismiss the US Presidential elections like a joke, a fraud and an exercise in collective brainwashing. This time around, and for the first time, I think that there is a possibility, however slim, that something of importance might be decided on November 8. The fact that such a possibility even appeared is, by itself, quite remarkable and it is yet another sign of how deep the systemic crisis of the Empire has become. As for the parasites who form the 1% who run this Empire, they are clearly in a panic mode, probably because they are much better informed than most of us of how truly catastrophic the situation really is.

A Hillary victory will not change any of it. It will only make it much, much more dangerous. With Trump, there is at least a possibility of a gradual, more or less organized withdrawal, a drawdown of sorts, a transition of the US from being a wannabe World Hegemon into a US as a major, but “normal”, country. Very much like Russia today, I hope.

With Hillary we can be sure the Empire will double down, continue to lie to itself and the rest of the planet, and deny it all, making the end inevitably very violent, possibly catastrophic. I would not put it past the “crazies in the basement” to prefer a nuclear holocaust (their favorite topic!) to a liberation of the US and the rest of the planet, from their demonic power. It is therefore our duty to prevent them from succeeding from destroying our planet.

If the Republican Candidate wins or loses, at least he’s exposed the totalitarian reality of the US deep state.

Perhaps “By Way of Deception” can stumble along for a while, but if the MSM has lost its credibility and is only speaking to a minority of true believers, the deep state may be tempted to grab absolute power in some kind of chaotic situation (war with Russia?) and finish with Democratic games once and for all.

The enforcement structure is in place, Homeland Security, Patriot Act and the NSA.

In point of fact, I can see little difference in media’s behaviour and open mendacity where Zionists are involved and where they are not (examples: Spain, Italy, Greece).

Putin and Kirill are corrupt to the core of their being. Putin was raised as a KGB thug and he himself has said there is no such thing as a former KGB operative. Kirill is far more interested in maintaining the position of the Russian Orthodox Church than he is in spreading the Gospel.

No matter how long Russia keep stumbling along, it will never rise to the point of being a true nation. Putin has set what is left on the course to final destruction. As Durant pointed out many years ago, countries are not murdered, they commit suicide. Virtually all of human history is about the rise, peak and decline of multi-national empires. The Russians have been around a long time, far longer than "Americans" (whatever that is now) and I expect they will still be around in their geographic redoubt after the US cedes its current global presence.

I'm afraid that you are in error, Quartermaster.

No matter how long Russia keep stumbling along, it will never rise to the point of being a true nation. Putin has set what is left on the course to final destruction.

Thierry Meyssan noted on his website that:

The Russian army has already out-produced the Pentagon in terms of conventional equipment. The system it deployed in Western Syria, the Black Sea and in Kaliningrad enabled it to scramble the communications networks of NATO, which had to abandon the surveillance of these regions. In terms of aeronautics, Russia has already produced multirole combat aircraft which, amongst their other functions, are capable of turning Alliance pilots green with envy....

Evidently, those in power are quite willing, foolishly, to bait The Bear but not willing to update their NATO equipment. Perhaps they've spent too much already on their Black Budget directed energy weapons. Goodness knows, Israel certainly appears capable and ready to use such weapons in Gaza as an internet search would reveal. Evidently, we did, too, in Iraq quite obliquely. See the YouTube video from the Iraqi whose town suffered two weeks of earthquakes while their fish in the nearby ocean were boiled alive--including scores of dolphins. Whoops!! Gotta practice those darn directed energy weapons.

I suspect that the complete disarray in our political approach to Russia arises from Hillary/Barack wanting a Scary Bogeyman to distract the American population (which is hard to do with zombies mesmerized by phones tied to them by an etherically reconstituted umbilical cord) while factions in the Deep Government Military/Industrial Complex seized the day and began antagonizing Russia by providing air support for the Bad Guys aka DAESH et al. so that they can complete their military objective on the given day and in that given space. Sometimes those bombs fell on the Syrian Army aka The Good Guys aka Not The Terrorists. Search the Internet. We have "miscommunicated" or "inadvertently bombed" many, many times before Putin finally approached the U.N. Security Council with our latest shenanigan.

Or could it be (again from Meyssan's site)...

At the end of the battle for Fallujah, a convoy of around 500 vehicles allowed Isis fighters to flee the city to Syria.

The Pentagon refused to bomb the convoy because the vehicles belonged to civilians and they were probably transporting the wives and children of some jihadists.

However, the Iraqi army decided to bomb it, destroying more than 200 vehicles and killing their occupants.

Iraqi soldiers are convinced that the Pentagon had received instruction to let the CIA advisers, that were training the jihadists, escape.

Yup. Down on the ole' farmstead near the swampy Potomac, factions fight to implement their own direction to confront Russia and maintain their real agenda: destabilization of the Middle East for complete domination by a corporate/techno empire certainly, as you said, not committing suicide.

Well, in 1812 and 1941 the Russians were able to retreat deeper into Russia until the aggressors could no longer deal with the logistical issues involved in supplying an army over that distance.

However, these days all Janet Yellen needs to do is print an infinite amount of money and the US can fill any supply channel no matter how long it is, surely.

All you guys who keep harping about invincibility of the US$ are on the wrong track. What you write is true in the short-term, but the trend is away from the US$. The mindset does not change easily and many a Chinese small businessman still trusts US$ more than Yuan and escapes away from Yuan into US$ and Western real-estate as a safe heaven. The US reinforces this misconception by keeping the US$ artificially high, by endless bull about raising interest rates in a depressed economy.

In other words, those who claim that past is ALWAYS a good predictor of the future are right until they are wrong and then they stay wrong forever. This is because the essence of their claim is that things never change, but do they not? The US$'s time is up.

The mask of impartiality has really come off the media as they co-ordinate their anti-Trump coverage to it now being nearly hysterical. The 10pm news announced, with heavy breathing dramatics, a ‘bombshell’ that might destroy the Trump campaign. It turned out to be some eleven year old recorded locker room talk that was somewhat vulgar. That’s all? They’ve tried to magnify that and are dredging up other such inane tidbits. If that’s all they can come up with then Trump is an exemplary man compared with the things I’ve heard come out of the mouths of most guys and some women. On the other hand very real and troubling information has come out from Wikileaks regarding Clinton and yet the media has through it’s sleight-of-hand equated the two, thus both cancelling each other out.
Trump has raised the right issues. Being very wealthy enabled him to avoid being a hired puppet as most candidates are. There will never be a perfect person as a presidential candidate so there’s no point in waiting for one. At the very least the hope is that he’ll split the Republican party and get rid of the many years long accretions of careerists and opportunists that have collected there. A split is needed and it’ll have an effect on the Democratic party also where they’ll need to realign themselves. The entire political system needs a housecleaning and a bull in a china shop may be what’ll bring it about. Hopefully.

I am not a US voter. But I would never, ever vote for Hillary voluntarily, only under a gun to my head. My main criterion in voting is how much damage I believe the candidate will do (yes, in the West the lesserevilism is the most deeply established principle).

For Hillary, I know that millions of children will be killed by her rule, as at least 500,000 children died under her POS pretend-husband/rapist. These are children playing now happily, breathing and asking for milk. They will be cold corpses under this uber-psychopath, blown-up or Hellfired/droned out of existence, poisoned with polluted Water, starved to death and so on.

I would be most sceptical about voting for Trump, but I believe that I would take the plunge only this time because of so much desperation by the crooks-incorporated of the current establishment (Deep State). As Saker points out:

As for the parasites who form the 1% who run this Empire, they are clearly in a panic mode, probably because they are much better informed than most of us of how truly catastrophic the situation really is.

No, "thine" is the second person singular possessive pronoun, thus:

This is mine and that is thine.

However, "thy" is the second person singular possessive adjective, thus:

This is my book and that is thy book.

The second person singular personal pronoun as the subject of a verb is "thou":

Thou art wrong! Thou hast made a mistake!

The other second person singular pronoun that is not the subject of the verb is "thee":

I love thee; I am talking to thee; I shall walk with thee; I shall give thee my love etc.

Where I lived in the North West of England over 40 years ago, such forms were still in use. I last spoke using "thou","thee", "thy" and "thine" with old friends when visiting the place of my birth 10 years ago.

Israel need to make a clean sweep inj the West Bank and so it needs a war, and Assad is doing his best to drive ISIS south against his neighboring family dictatorship in the Palestinian state that already exist; the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The US will do everything to prevent their cliet state oif Jordan collapsing because the long term destruction of Israel as a Jewish state depends on the Arabs staying in the West Bank, which they would not if a war in Jordan involved Israel.
https://news.vice.com/article/the-great-wall-of-jordan-how-the-us-wants-to-keep-the-islamic-state-out. Assad is Israel’s friend, he has nothing that Israel wants, and Trump as pres would embolden Israel to do what they should have done in 1967..

Look its a numbers game, nothing changes until women start becoming more interested in these kind of topics.

Women make up 50% of the population even if half of men know whats going on (prob overestimate) it only makes up 25% of the population. The elites can deal with 25%!!

Ive yet to meet a woman interested in these geo political discussions. If WW3 was about to break out most would be more interested in Kim Kardeshian. Then theres gays, without sounding homophobic most gays ive ever met have apolitical personalities like women unless its gay rights. Is it any wonder why the elites love gay rights so much.

How many women commenting on this site? how many visit similar sites?

Put a visible male / femail box on comments and ill rest my case.

Men want to be generally seen as the guy who gets results when everyone else fails or is too scared, females want to be seen as beautiful and desirable (someone that men want to protect).

Yes, it's possible that he is part of the game, even likely, either as a Clinton friend or as a Clinton enemy.

But we know for sure where Clinton stands. I agree with Saker, there is some small chance that he actually is an enemy of the Establishment, and that is enough to support him. He cannot be worse than Clinton. And if he turns out to be another fraud like Obama, at least we will be one step closer to people waking up. Well, in 1812 and 1941 the Russians were able to retreat deeper into Russia until the aggressors could no longer deal with the logistical issues involved in supplying an army over that distance.

I think it should be "thine empire" if we're going to use thee/thou/thine

No, “thine” is the second person singular possessive pronoun, thus:

This is mine and that is thine.

However, “thy” is the second person singular possessive adjective, thus:

This is my book and that is thy book.

The second person singular personal pronoun as the subject of a verb is “thou”:

Thou art wrong! Thou hast made a mistake!

The other second person singular pronoun that is not the subject of the verb is “thee”:

I love thee; I am talking to thee; I shall walk with thee; I shall give thee my love etc.

Where I lived in the North West of England over 40 years ago, such forms were still in use. I last spoke using “thou”,”thee”, “thy” and “thine” with old friends when visiting the place of my birth 10 years ago.

There is no reason to dismiss a priori the possibility that there is a schism inside the US deep state, that one part wants to save the Empire as the expense of the US (the Neocons) and another wants to save the US at the expense of the Empire (the Trump supporters).

The ONLY people supporting Trump are the proles. The white proles.

Trump will win the election because his supporters turn out. But Hillary will be president. The combined efforts of both parties, the corporate media and all three branches of the federal government will easily steal the election. Deplorable truthers will complain among themselves. Conspiracy theorists will write books.

As long as federal reserve notes can be exchanged for goods and services the empire will prevail. The FED can create a trillion dollars instantly and repeatedly. Keep chipping away at the dollar and play for time. If Imperial Washington decides to set the world on fire with it's dying breath it will be so. The people who make these decisions are not merely irrational. They are evil.

The US$’s time is up.

The mask of impartiality has really come off the media as they co-ordinate their anti-Trump coverage to it now being nearly hysterical. The 10pm news announced, with heavy breathing dramatics, a 'bombshell' that might destroy the Trump campaign. It turned out to be some eleven year old recorded locker room talk that was somewhat vulgar. That's all? They've tried to magnify that and are dredging up other such inane tidbits. If that's all they can come up with then Trump is an exemplary man compared with the things I've heard come out of the mouths of most guys and some women. On the other hand very real and troubling information has come out from Wikileaks regarding Clinton and yet the media has through it's sleight-of-hand equated the two, thus both cancelling each other out.
Trump has raised the right issues. Being very wealthy enabled him to avoid being a hired puppet as most candidates are. There will never be a perfect person as a presidential candidate so there's no point in waiting for one. At the very least the hope is that he'll split the Republican party and get rid of the many years long accretions of careerists and opportunists that have collected there. A split is needed and it'll have an effect on the Democratic party also where they'll need to realign themselves. The entire political system needs a housecleaning and a bull in a china shop may be what'll bring it about. Hopefully.

Israel gets money and high tech weaponry from America, but the US is giving them enough rope, the threat Israel faces is the threat of becoming an pariah apartheid state. The US funding of the west Bank settlements was probably done with the idea of making a Jewish state unworkable in the long term. Mearshiemer has predicted all this and he predicted the Russian attack on Ukraine twenty year before the event.

Ukraine is occupied by alcoholics. My cousin worked with a the Ukrainian army detachment to a UN force and he said they all swilled vodka constantly, starting at breakfast with tea flavoured, although they were so hardened to it they didn't seem drunk.

Ukrainians should have listened to John Mearsheimer and got nuclear weapons. Will Israel learn from Ukraine's mistake and hearken to the professor's wisdom: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Mearsheimer#The_.22Future_of_Palestine.22_lecture

Assad is Israel's friend, he has nothing that Israel wants, and Trump as pres would embolden Israel to do what they should have done in 1967..

This election is a sham and was from the very get-go. Let me present you with another scenario, and frankly one that us far more probable than some supposed deep-state schism.

Eight years ago, the Hillary Clinton campaign had to ask itself a tough question. How in the world will HRC ever become president? She can't seem to win the democratic nomination, let alone against a national election. What the campaign came up with you now see on television every single day: Donald J Trump. A red herring wrecking ball in the Republican primaries, now being dismantled piece by piece with timing that one could only "surgically precise." This is absolutely by design. Trump knows it too. He signed up for this.

Change in the empire will not come from within... not in an electoral fashion that the US is elite are used to.

    Nice piece anyway though.

Right on! Been saying this for quite some time! It is NOT an election; it IS a Selection.
It is NOT a campaign; it IS a Scam-paign. Diebold and ESS will make sure that their selection is put in the WH. No amount of votes will change the outcome.
    A great thing COULD happen;
The Donald could go on the tube and say……”folks, this has all been a joke on you to get you to vote for Hillary….I am NOT qualified to be president, everyone knows that…I never WANTED to be president, but when the media-moguls offered me all that money to run…..well…I said “yes”!

The ownership structure of the NY Times is based on something called dual-class shares. This structure allows families to gain access to public capital without losing control.

According to Wiki, “Slim increased his stake in the New York Times to 16.8% when he exercised stock options to purchase 15.9 million [Class A] shares… Although this acquisition made him the largest shareholder in the company, it does not give him the ability to control the newspaper, as his stake allows him to vote only for Class A directors, who compose just a third of the company’s board.”

Bottom line: the NY Times is still owned by The Ochs-Sulzberger family through a trust which controls roughly 88 percent of the company’s Class B shares.

I’m afraid that you are in error, Quartermaster.

In terms of aeronautics, Russia has already produced multirole combat aircraft which, amongst their other functions, are capable of turning Alliance pilots green with envy….

Evidently, those in power are quite willing, foolishly, to bait The Bear but not willing to update their NATO equipment. Perhaps they’ve spent too much already on their Black Budget directed energy weapons. Goodness knows, Israel certainly appears capable and ready to use such weapons in Gaza as an internet search would reveal. Evidently, we did, too, in Iraq quite obliquely. See the YouTube video from the Iraqi whose town suffered two weeks of earthquakes while their fish in the nearby ocean were boiled alive–including scores of dolphins.

We have “miscommunicated” or “inadvertently bombed” many, many times before Putin finally approached the U.N. Security Council with our latest shenanigan.

Or could it be (again from Meyssan’s site)…

At the end of the battle for Fallujah, a convoy of around 500 vehicles allowed Isis fighters to flee the city to Syria.

The Pentagon refused to bomb the convoy because the vehicles belonged to civilians and they were probably transporting the wives and children of some jihadists.

However, the Iraqi army decided to bomb it, destroying more than 200 vehicles and killing their occupants.

Iraqi soldiers are convinced that the Pentagon had received instruction to let the CIA advisers, that were training the jihadists, escape.

Yup. Down on the ole’ farmstead near the swampy Potomac, factions fight to implement their own direction to confront Russia and maintain their real agenda: destabilization of the Middle East for complete domination by a corporate/techno empire certainly, as you said, not committing suicide.

  71. I’ve always argued, even during the early ’90s when the internet barely existed as of yet, that it was eventually doomed, that it was not the all-encompassing cultural revolution it was being sold as. The reasons for this were all interdependent and generational in nature, and my (here much abbreviated) argument went something like this.

The physical existence of the internet is basically a one-off result of the enormous wealth of the Baby Boom generation and their ability to manipulate financial markets. The infrastructure that sustains the internet is both expensive and non self-liquidating in the traditional sense. Thus, in layman’s terms, the internet is basically wasted capital. The technology is only affordable to the masses because of the labor arbitrage resulting from globalization, and globalization is likewise an artifact of the Boomer generation’s characteristic social mood and not a permanent feature of the economy. The internet is also a great liability in wartime; it is both A) an unnecessary extravagance that cannot be supported as the economy turns towards the production of war materiel, and B) a soft target that makes us vulnerable to cyber-attacks and intelligence leaks. Therefore, as the Boomer generation fades, as their financial manipulations finally approach a day of reckoning, as globalization abates and as general war approaches, the continued existence of the internet will simply not be feasible.

The social changes that will attend this transformation are both a result and an exacerbating cause of the internet’s decline, also working in an interdependent fashion. We see here one of those social changes aborning, viz. the desire by governments to control (i.e. tax, regulate, censor) internet content. Once that begins in earnest the internet’s decline will accelerate, because there will be very little demand for what it can provide. People will not be willing to pay for it and it will only be sustained, if at all, by compulsory taxation and fees, resulting in a very circumscribed, cumbersome, and limited experience. The prior years of rapid internet growth were only possible because of the opportunities for investment it afforded as a so-called “new frontier.” I am rather skeptical about the ultimate value of many of those opportunities, but at least the perception thereof at the time provided a case for investment. With the closing of the frontier, even that perception will be gone.

It will be very interesting to watch the action in the financial markets as the dawning realization grows that companies like Google, Facebook, Amazon, and a host of Silicon Valley lesser lights have no real pathway to profitability and are basically just gigantic cash burning operations. As the tech sector sells off horrendously there will be calls for bailouts and recapitalizations of the affected companies, but neither the willingness nor the ability for continued QE will be anymore existent, the dry powder having already been wasted on the zombie banks and real estate boondoggles of the Great Recession. The drying up of investment capital will further retard R&D and Capex in the IT field and will depress interest in programming and computer science as career choices for qualified youth. The downward spiral will continue until a new equilibrium is reached in a world very much less tech-dependent as the one we occupy today.

It should be apparent by now that anything Obama touches, he ruins. In the the coming years the internet will undergo its own version of the “NFL ratings plunge” we are witnessing as a result of BLM meddling in one of America’s national pastimes. Although Obama himself is at least as much effect as cause of the sweeping social changes his era will come to symbolize, he should never be excused of the ill effects simply because of the malice in his heart.

I never touched a computer before 1985, and the internet (''information highway'' was just a gleam in Al Gore's eye, I thought: What a bunch a crap, all these nurds trying to make a mountain outta a mole hill of complicatedness. Very idealistic, futurist stuff.

But, I don't defend my ignorance, just acknowledge it, and move forward. The internet I guess is what came later as it is now ubiquitous, and inescapable an element of everyday. However, the basics were in place, fully developed and in use long before as military technology.

Which I mean, Satellites, microwaves, main frames, digital tech and base 2 math is it? (0,1) an outgrowth from morris code maybe.

It wouldn't be the first time that military and call it ''state sponsored'' R&D led to something extremely useful to the aggregate society via private corporate extensions to marketing into the civilian markets. INOwords, to use a term Socialism =military/ Academia =R&D/ back to military and then crony capitalists pretending to be inventors take it public, sort of mysteriously in the case of some like Mr. T'shirt in a garage.

It is what it is, can't turn back the clock. Everything about the internet and its infrastructure is more robust as time moves, and the sense of equality of access is tremendous sales point from the standpoint of public perception. Vulnerability to attack seems possible from space debris both the increasing detritus of past mistakes, natural phenomena, even intentional sabotage.

As Sixty minutes proudly announced last Sunday the roll out of AI, and well, everybody better know that's got some good things to offer. But…

As far as Silicon Valleys Denizens not being profitable, and essentially ''Cash burning operations'', 10/4 that. But there is cash to burn, Alexis de Tochville promised: there would be someday when some class will figure out how to pay themselves from the kitty...

  73. Well, I doubt that Trump would subject himself and his family to such a public evisceration by the hyenas of the media, for a few shekels to be tossed his way as a payoff for being drawn and quartered publicly.

In his musings of “making America great again” it may actually come close to recognizing that a sovereign nation, a great nation, would have a sovereign currency, not a rent-a-coin as the coin of the realm, so to speak. Once this enters the public discussion perhaps the greatest fraud ever perpetrated on a country or the planet, the FED, will be exposed.

The the shysters will have a problem.

Carlos Sims is a zionist?

No, but Arthur Ochs-Sulzberger Jr. is.

Here's a previous comment I made on this topic:

"The Times... did its part to lead the nation to war."

Chalabi was reportedly the main source of bogus information that former Times reporter Judith Miller used in her thoroughly discredited work about Iraq's supposedly brimming stockpile of weapons of mass destruction. It was Chalabi who wove Saddam Hussein fiction and it was Miller, then a widely respected Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, who gave it the Times stamp approval as the paper did its part to lead the nation to war.

Donald J Trump. A red herring wrecking ball in the Republican primaries, now being dismantled piece by piece with timing that one could only “surgically precise.” This is absolutely by design. Trump knows it too. He signed up for this.

I'm not so sure, although that certainly does make sense. Trump is an egomaniac of the purest sort, so I don't think he is going along with any plan. As I see it, Trump is pitifully subject to the most basic of "dirty tricks" political strategy.

I think the Democrats could not believe their good luck at the nomination of Trump. The only fly in the ointment is the bit of kerfuffling over Hillary's crimes. But, shucks, since when has criminal activity made any difference in a presidential election -- heck, no, it's gotta be about sex or insanity to have any impact on the electorate -- viz. Edwards or the one back in the 70s that spent time in the wacky ward -- I forget his name.

    Trump never had a prayer.

Jeb wasn’t an “egomaniac,” to use your term? The guy who seriously thought America yearned for another Bush Dynasty jefe like himself?

Hats off to anyone brave enough (or with a strong enough ego) to risk the character assassination and ridicule that come with political campaigns. What in particular sets Trump apart so that he achieves the status of “egomaniac” as opposed to being just self confident?

I am not voting for Donald Trump...and here are the reasons why:

1)Donald Trump wants to import thousands of highly racialized Hindu legal immigrants and other Asian legal immigrant ethnic groups into the Nation I was born and raised in...

2)Donald Trump wants to give the Tata Institute billionaires...Hindu Fifth Column on US Soil..... in NJ and Northern California a massive tax break..

No..I am not voting for the cockroach Hillary Clinton....if the cockroach wins...let it start nuclear WW3....so the Russians can blacktop top the US...the US may not be worth saving at this point.....

We can survive the damage from importing said Asians but not the that from millions of other third-worlders whom Hillary will import.

    Can’t you see the difference?

If the Republican Candidate wins or loses, at least he's exposed the totalitarian reality of the US deep state.

Perhaps "By Way of Deception" can stumble along for a while, but if the MSM has lost its credibility and is only speaking to a minority of true believers, the deep state may be tempted to grab absolute power in some kind of chaotic situation (war with Russia?) and finish with Democratic games once and for all.

It was a brilliant piece of social engineering, where by people were taught the “facts” of education severed from the thinking part of education. Now we process information emotionally and that is how America will vote. The Demon-cratic party is this amazing coalition of the mentally ill–amazing in that they can pull together with so many different pathologies at play. Nothing sways them, nothing phases them–they are untied by having an even more mentally deranged Alpha female strong enough to lead them and they will destroy America. Let the civil war begin, because I am tired of being led by the insane.
