PK Note: Another mass shooting involving black people, nearly all-black high schools in Alabama, and high school football… yet silence from the national media.
What happens when a 91 percent black high school plays a 90 percent black high school in a football game in the state of Alabama? Well, actually, the question should be: what happens after two nearly all-black high schools play each other in a football game?
Why does this matter… again, just a day after a mass shooting in Mobile during a high school football game between two all-black high schools? Because the following event can’t be blamed on white gun-owners who fund the NRA with their lavish donations. This mass shooting involved only black people. [Seven people ages 15 to 24 injured in shooting in Valley, Valley Times- News, September 1, 2019]:
Seven people were injured after an argument that spilled over from Friday’s Lanett-LaFayette football game resulted in a shooting at Fairfax Kindergarten Sunday morning, according to a press release from the Valley Police Department.
The Valley Police Department responded to the scene at 300 Boulevard around midnight and found two victims, a 24-year-old male from Lanett and an 18-year-old male from Valley, in a vehicle in the parking lot with gunshot wounds. A third victim, an 18-year-old male from Lanett, was inside the building. Four additional victims were taken to EAMC-Lanier by private vehicle, including an 18-year-old male from Lanett, a 19-year-old male from Valley, a 15-year-old male from LaFayette and 18-year-old male from Lanett. Two of the victims were flown by Lifeflight, one to Atlanta and one to Columbus.
The condition of the victims is currently unknown, according to the press release.
Police believe a party was being held at Fairfax Kindergarten and an argument broke out between some of the men there. They went into the parking lot when at least one of the men pulled out a gun and started shooting, according to the press release.
The argument appears to be over something that happened Friday night at the Lanett-LaFayette football game. According to the press release, a majority of victims and witnesses were uncooperative, but a suspect has been named. Valley police have not released information on the suspect.
The Lanett Police Department, the Chambers County Sheriff’s Office, the East Alabama Fire/EMS, and the Lanett Fire/EMS assisted in the case.
So as not to reinvent the wheel, considering a mass shooting involving a black shooter and two all-black high schools in Alabama just happened on Friday…
Two nearly all-black high schools are playing one another in football, and afterward a black gunman opens fire on black individuals (over an argument about said football game played between two nearly all-black schools earlier) in a mass shooting no one will talk about on a national scale.
Why won’t it be discussed? Because it reveals the truth about gun crime in America: invariably, when a shooting happens, the person responsible for the gun crime is black (the New York Times confirms 75 percent of mass shootings in America are committed by blacks).
Somehow this is the fault of white gun-owners, though. And the NRA.
So give up your guns, white America, because black people can’t stop shooting one another.
