The Working Class Won the Election

The US presidential election is historic, because the American people were able to defeat the oligarchs. Hillary Clinton, an agent for the Oligarchy, was defeated despite the vicious media campaign against Donald Trump. This shows that the media and the political establishments of the political parties no longer have credibility with the American people.

It remains to be seen whether Trump can select and appoint a government that will serve him and his goals to restore American jobs and to establish friendly and respectful relations with Russia, China, Syria, and Iran.

It also remains to be seen how the Oligarchy will respond to Trump’s victory. Wall Street and the Federal Reserve can cause an economic crisis in order to put Trump on the defensive, and they can use the crisis to force Trump to appoint one of their own as Secretary of the Treasury. Rogue agents in the CIA and Pentagon can cause a false flag attack that would disrupt friendly relations with Russia. Trump could make a mistake and retain neoconservatives in his government.

With Trump there is at least hope. Unless Trump is obstructed by bad judgment in his appointments and by obstacles put in his way, we should expect an end to Washington’s orchestrated conflict with Russia, the removal of the US missiles on Russia’s border with Poland and Romania, the end of the conflict in Ukraine, and the end of Washington’s effort to overthrow the Syrian government. However, achievements such as these imply the defeat of the US Oligarchy. Although Trump defeated Hillary, the Oligarchy still exists and is still powerful.

Trump said that he no longer sees the point of NATO 25 years after the Soviet collapse. If he sticks to his view, it means a big political change in Washington’s EU vassals. The hostility toward Russia of the current EU and NATO officials would have to cease. German Chancellor Merkel would have to change her spots or be replaced. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg would have to be dismissed.

We do not know who Trump will select to serve in his government. It is likely that Trump is unfamiliar with the various possibilities and their positions on issues. It really depends on who is advising Trump and what advice they give him. Once we see his government, we will know whether we can be hopeful for the changes that now have a chance.

If the oligarchy is unable to control Trump and he is actually successful in curbing the power and budget of the military/security complex and in holding the financial sector politically accountable, Trump could be assassinated.

Trump said that he will put Hillary in prison. He should first put her on trial for treason and war crimes along with all of the neoconservatives. That would clear the decks for peace with the other two major nuclear powers over whom the neoconservatives seek hegemony. Although the neoconservatives would still have contacts in the hidden deep state, it would make it difficult for the vermin to organize false flag operations or an assassination. Rogue elements in the military/security complex could still bring off an assassination, but without neocons in the government a coverup would be more difficult.

Trump has more understanding and insight than his opponents realize. For a man such as Trump to risk acquiring so many powerful enemies and to risk his wealth and reputation, he had to have known that the people’s dissatisfaction with the ruling establishment meant he could be elected president.

We won’t know what to expect until we see who are the Secretaries and Assistant Secretaries. If it is the usual crowd, we will know Trump has been captured.

A happy lasting result of the election is the complete discrediting of the US media. The media predicted an easy Hillary victory and even Democratic Party control of the US Senate. Even more important to the media’s loss of influence and credibility, despite the vicious media attack on Trump throughout the presidential primaries and presidential campaign, the media had no effect outside the Northeast and West coasts, the stomping grounds of the One Percent. The rest of the country ignored the media.

I did not think the Oligarchy would allow Trump to win. However, it seems that the oligarchs were deceived by their own media propaganda. Assured that Hillary was the sure winner, they were unprepared to put into effect plans to steal the election.

Hillary is down, but not the Oligarchs. If Trump is advised to be conciliatory, to hold out his hand, and to take the establishment into his government, the American people will again be disappointed. In a country whose institutions have been so completely corrupted by the Oligarchy, it is difficult to achieve real change without bloodshed.

  1. Trump told the AIPAC crowd he didn’t need them and every Jewish pundit – left and right attacked him viciously yet he still won. If anybody has the political capital to wrest control from the neocons it is Trump.

If Trump is really against Zio/neocons - Why he was a keynote speaker at the AIPAC convention especially his Jewish and pro-Israel opponent Bernie Sander told AIPAC to get lost?

Why Trump hired Zio/neocons to run his campaign and advise him on foreign policy matters?

Why Trump has used Crypto Jew Frank Gaffney's anti-Muslim lies to insult American Muslims?

Is Trump not a child sex abuser and Wall Street pawn? Both fields are monopolized by Zionist Jews.

According to the Jew York Times (December 9, 2015) Trump's anti-Muslim figures came from a June 2015 poll conducted by Israel advocacy group, The Center for Security Policy, founded in 1988 by Crypto Jew Frank Gaffney...

  2. Trump will have to make a “deal” with the Oligarchs to survive. The question is what concessions does he have to make to strike a deal. If ne can purge the Neocons from positions of power that would be a real coup better still is to fire all the court Jews but would the Jewish Oligarchs let him?

Maybe yes, maybe no. Trump was supposed to have had to deal with the Republican establishment and they provided him with little in the way of support and dropped him at the first sign of controversy over his crotch grabbing comment - yet he still won.

Trump is media savvy and has the public on his side. If this were the old days when there was a gentleman's agreement in Congress to not alert the public to how I was going to screw them lest I alert them when you do - powerful behind the scenes interests were all that mattered. SOPA was defeated by the grass roots and amnesties turned back. Trump just has to have the guts for a fight.

  3. Certainly the election of Trump signifies a visceral hatred of Washington, District of Corruption. Mr. Joe Sixpack–that beer-swiggin’, two-packs-a-day denizen of the loading dock–realizes that the D.C. Establishment doesn’t give a fiddler’s fuck for him and his concerns. And, of course, he’s perfectly right.

Roberts makes noteworthy points. Trump has got to blow off the neocon cretins who are hanging around. He’s got to take a reasoned, conciliatory approach to foreign policy questions (no threats, no heavy breathing). And it would be great if he told a certain Zionist entity in the Middle East to piss

As Trump gets his presidential act together, I wish him the best.

The blacks and Hispanics could easily have derailed Trump's campaign if they really wanted to. His victory margins in swing states weren't exactly huge and he lost the popular vote nationally. Arizona, Pennsylvania etc could have gone Democrat if minorities were really keen on voting in Hillary and stopping Trump. Many blacks were probably torn between supporting the Dems on welfare and agreeing with Trump on immigration. Some Hispanics may also have agreed with Trump on trade - after all, many of them would probably still be in Mexico if it wasn't for NAFTA.

The white working class was the backbone of the Trump electoral vote, followed by college-educated whites.

It's a shame most brown/black voters can't recognize how the liberal policies screw them over and fall for empty rhetoric and handouts in the short term to buy their votes despite the long term woe those policies bring.

YES! Absolutely correct. The "FED" - the FOURTH PRIVATE central bank in America - is the reactor core of the Zionist Crimocracy's Death Star. The source of all (((their))) power. PUBLIC banking free of "interest servitude" - USURY. Our Country's MOST important utility - OUR money - returned to US from the Zio Crime banksters. Issued debt and usury free.

    A) Returning the emission of national currency to government and eliminating the creation of “debt money”. The US Constitution mandates the former.

    B) Undertaking the infrastructure betterment by requiring all ebt card holders to participate in the shovel-ready work promised by BO. Failure to work, bye bye benefits.

The electoral college is indeed not democratic. But that's not a bug. It's a feature.
    , @Joe Franklin

Don’t want to upset anyone, but our electoral college is totally undemocratic.

Electoral college limits the effects of vote fraud.

Without the electoral college, democrats would likely commit vote fraud in selected large population cities and thereby steal the presidential election.

The electoral college limits the effect of big city vote fraud, fraud typical of democrats, from propagating beyond the state level.

For example, without the electoral college Democrats could commit massive vote fraud in only Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago and still win the election with otherwise tepid support everywhere else.

Beside this fact, the US is not supposed to be a national democracy, and the US constitution never authorizes a national democracy.

Before the 17th amendment, US senators were appointed by state legislators, not the people exercising their popular vote.

The 17th amendment should really be repealed, as it takes power away from the states and makes the US senate redundant with the house of representatives, both now representing the people.

The 9th and 10th amendments declares that the federal government has only limited enumerated powers, not unlimited power that is typical of a national democracy.
  17. The white working class won this election, not just the generic and racially ambiguous “working class”. Even the radical, loony left is bemoaning this fact. The white working class has been hardest hit by our trade and economic policies, has finally had enough, and recognized a sincerity in Trump that was missing in the previous two Republican presidential candidates.

On foreign policy, I’m hopeful but also cynical given what we’ve been through the last two and a half decades or since the fall of the former Soviet Union. If Trump starts filling his cabinet with neo-con retreads like Bolton then that will be a major red flag. But I do expect them to attempt to burrow their way into his administration and influence his thinking.

Let’s not forget that son in law (((Jared Kushner))) has Trump’s ear on many things, so let’s hope he doesn’t quickly become compromised to serve as a tool for the Jewish agenda (i.e., status quo, business as usual) instead of the majority of white Americans who elected him.

Neocons have been in power so long that they have deliberately crowded out, defamed, defunded and excluded most of their competitors. And while many Neocons have burned their bridges to a Trump Administration, it only takes one bridge to bring them back. So that bears watching.

No doubt the Oligarchs have their knives out for Trump, but Trump is best viewed in the style of Machiavelli’s The Prince. He will rule by his wits with ruthless cunning, strength and skill. In other words, Trump is doubtless getting his own knives ready.

An essential element of the "Donald Brand" is the term, You're Fired! In the past whenever a high-ranking government official is fired the media makes a big deal of it and uses it to foment rumours of instability and chaos. I would suggest that DT announce right away that his success has always been partially due to putting people to work who can get the job done and if not they are replaced.

Up front say to all, expect people to be replaced, not necessarily due to incompetence but rather because other people have been found to be more effective in the job and that he has a lot to accomplish.

By retaining this right to fire or replace members of his team he can easily replace those who deviate in any way from the job they are assigned without being judged harshly, rather being admired all the more for his decisiveness and direct action. This should aid in weeding out those who would sabotage his presidency.

Trump has invited Netanyahu to the U.S. & Adelson's investment already pays dividend.

9-11, Netanyahu said, "it's very good for Israel, because it strengthens support for Israel."

Adelson, Netanyahu, and Trump believe the Islamic Republic of Iran is very bad for Israel.

There was a coup 11/22/1963 but please, it was not "Zionist," though there were so many suspects that there were inevitably a few among them. A major cog in the wheel of death, Allen Dulles, was son of a Presbyterian cleric. He was fired by Kennedy, but bravely pulled his socks up and served on the Warren Commission when the sad time came, determined to see justice done, no doubt. The coup d'etat of 63 is still a hot button as evidenced by they way they are still lying about it in the MSM. Trump cleanly kicked Cruz out of the race by referring to Cruz's dad handling out leaflets with LHO. I showed that picture to half a dozen people, including a Chinese lady from Taiwan, and each one immediately recognized Cruz's father there. Don't want to turn a spotlight on that.

We are unfortunately going to see a Trump Cabinet packed with the usual insider suspects.

The only hope we have for meangful change is that Trump will continue to go rogue on more than a few occasions.

    Paul Craig Roberts:

You are a mis-direction agent (MOSSAD/CIA?), attempting to reinforce Zionist America's propaganda, that, although with faults, the US of A remains a democracy and allows the voters to decide who rules them.

    You wrote:

" I did not think the Oligarchy would allow Trump to win. However, it seems that the oligarchs were deceived by their own media propaganda. Assured that Hillary was the sure winner, they were unprepared to put into effect plans to steal the election."

Read my lips! The Zionist American Oligarchs stole the election on November 22, 1963, when they overthrew our Republic in a bloody Coup D'etat. They steal each Presidential election by choosing the 2 final candidates of the twin counter-insurgent political gangs, the Republican, and Democrat. The Oligarchs ban all so-called '3rd Party candidates from the Presidential Debates, and, as well, ensure that they cannot raise sufficient fund$ to compete in a nationwide election (a nation with a population of 320 million).

These basics of American Government 101, are routinely obfuscated by the media misdirection agents, (including those agents pretending to be with the true opposition, the People).

Say it ain't so, Joe, -er Paul.

Both Trump and Killery Clinton were vetted and approved by the Rothschilds, Rockefellers, Duponts, and several dozen other major Zionist American Oligarchs. The Oligarchs can live with and Direct/Control either. The Oligarchs control the media, and the entire Political establishment. Congress, the States, and Local government are completely -Bought and Controlled. *Ralph Nader once asked to name the Congressmen (out of 535), who were not bought/controlled by Vested Interests, named Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich, and with a smile on his face, said that there might be a 3rd.

No! Virginia, there is no Santa Clause.

I think you're looking at it all wrong. Adelson did contribute to Trump's campaign, but it was a very paltry sum compared to what he usually contributes to Republican candidates. Maybe he thought Trump would pay for it all himself, but it seems to be unlikely to be a major reason- he know how these things tend to have 100's of millions to over a billion dollars price tags. He knows Trump's not gonna blow his whole wad over the election. To me, it signals he had far less interest in Trump's candidacy.

The American election was the usual political charade to give American voters the choice to choose between the two American traitors whose loyalty rests with a foreign entity – Israel.

On Wednesday, commenting on Trump’s presidential victory, Iranian president Dr. Hassan Rouhani told members of his cabinet that it will have no affect on Iran’s behavior.

“The outcome of the US elections has no impact on the Islamic Republic of Iran’s policies,” he said.

The political commentators have interpreted the statement as Tehran’s continuous support for Syrian president Bashar al-Assad, Hizbullah and Hamas – and development of country’s missile defense stockpile.

A reminder, most blacks and browns don't work. They receive free stuff from those that do.

Most do work. They just have disproportionately more who don’t than do whites. He’s right, they’re mostly working class.

The white working class was the backbone of the Trump electoral vote, followed by college-educated whites.

It’s a shame most brown/black voters can’t recognize how the liberal policies screw them over and fall for empty rhetoric and handouts in the short term to buy their votes despite the long term woe those policies bring.

Well, at least we could count on the Sailer Strategy. And if Trump succeeds in his wall and deportations, we will still be able to count on it.

Not exactly. It was the backbone of the swing to Trump. His core vote was still the rich middle class, especially the married ones. It is just that he took enough white married workers off the Democrats to damage Hillary. Most of the poor whites or otherwise coloured stayed Democrat. (Actually the Native Americans seem to have been rather pro Trump).

I have read Dr. Roberts before you're sucking your thumb kid.

And in case your Mama didn't tell you - Sheldon is not the only oligarch in America. There had never been a US president since 1870s which had not been millionaire or a billionaire except Robert Nixon.

Do you know even a professional liar like Abraham Foxman was paid $760,000 per year plus free residence?

It is estimated that there are 450 billionaires and 3,000,000 millionaires in United States (more than 60% are Jewish) as per 2008. The net worth of all households in US (population around 300 million) as per June 30, 2008 – was US$56 trillion. The 450 billionaires are worth US$1 trillion, while 3,000,000 millionaires are worth US$11 trillion – which comes to one percent of US population owning more than 21 per cent of countries resources.

Most of these billionaires and millionaires have accumulated their wealth by managing fellow Americans’ money or looting the resources of under-developed nations – mostly Muslims.

On Global level – Americans are less than 6 percent of world population – but consumes more than 40 percent of world’s resources and produce more than 50 percent of world’s garbage.

  35. It looks grim because Christie is handling the transition team. I have to say one thing. We are learning who all our enemies are over broad. Europe is dependent on Russian oil and it is using the US to bully Russia: “Moscow is seen as a direct threat to their interests—both in its aggressive efforts to reshape global alliances and for its power to damage Western Europe, which obtains almost 40 percent of its natural gas from Russia.”

    http://www.newsweek.com/donald-trump-vladimir-putin-russia-hillary-clinton-united-states-europe-516895

They aren’t going to stop using and abusing the US until it is dead if they have their way. The Europeans should pursue alternative energy and not nuclear war. We the people need to take note of all the reasons and people who are pushing US foreign policy in dangerous directions foreign and domestic. This clearly shows that Europe is pushing for violent confrontation with Russia, trying to shakedown their oil supplier with the US military.

  36. It’s taken Putin and the Russians 20 years to even make a DENT in the Jewish Mafia. This is not an easy job and it’s gonna take a while.

Also, the Iran nuke deal was driven by Putin, the so-called P5+1 countries, with Obama and Kerry standing around with their thumbs up their personal dark-place. Russia has the lion’s-share of the implementation responsibility, as well.

IMHO Trump knows that the Iran deal is a DONE-deal. He had to give the AIPAC crowd some red-meat (not that it did any good, they attacked him anyway) but they know they’re wasting their time at this point. So does everyone else.

Trump ran a masterful campaign, giving everyone just enough to get elected without pissing off anyone TOO much.

He’s either a masterful demagogue or just the guy to drain the swamp. Problem is, it’s a really really big swamp infested with a lot of vicious (but not very smart) crocodiles (or whatever the Hebrew word for “crocodile” is).

Limited expectations are called for, IMHO. At least we dodged the “war with Russia” bullet, for now.

If Trump’s biggest accomplishment turns out to be saving the planet for another couple months, well….. that’s a lot better than most can claim. And maybe he WILL turn out to be another Hitler is we give him enough time.

Granting, however, that prosecutions are in order, wouldn't a proper list include: (1) W.J. Clinton; (2) Bush the Younger; (3) Obama, as well as Cheney, Albright, H. Clinton, and a whole host of others?

Other than the Clintons, who can be charged for security violations and selling access through the Clinton Foundation, and probably child sex charges against Bill Clinton, what are the others to be charged with? Ideology? That won’t fly.

However, I admit to being bewildered that Mr. Roberts has overlooked the multi millions of dollars that the billionaire Sheldon Adelson has invested into Donald Trump's victory. Sheldon Adelson is an oligarch supporter of P.M. Netanyahu & President-elect Trump. .

Trump has invited Netanyahu to the U.S. & Adelson's investment already pays dividend.

The working class will be off to a good start if DJT expands it by:

    A) Returning the emission of national currency to government and eliminating the creation of "debt money". The US Constitution mandates the former.

    B) Undertaking the infrastructure betterment by requiring all ebt card holders to participate in the shovel-ready work promised by BO. Failure to work, bye bye benefits.

    C) Eliminating the Dept of Education and federal student loans, cutting federal funding to universities save for STEM programs. Redirect fed funding to rural redevelopment.

    D) Actually deporting illegals.

One could go on and on, but these measures would be a good start, sez I!

    Comments:

    B) Anyone on the dole should be temporarily sterilized and not allowed to vote.

    C) Screw redirecting funds. I want my fucking money to stay in my wallet! I earned it and the government is stealing it!

    D) Use E-Verify and giving heavy fines for employing illegals and they wetbacks will leave on their own. I also want to Foreign Visa programs shut down. We should not be giving jobs to foreigners when we have more than 12% unemployment (22% for blacks).

"I cannot give Roberts a free (get out of Jail) pass on this particular essay."

Can not/will not discredit you for such making such judgement, but I've followed Paul Craig Roberts' works for at least a decade, and I do not feel he actually expects to get a "free pass."

    Here's why, my friend:

It seems apparent that the working class vote had managed to beat the Mighty M.S.M. (Haim Saban/Arnon Milchan) worldwide disinformation plan. If I had to guess, I think Mr. Roberts has tactfully presented President-elect Trump and Unz Review readers with the fact that America's working class rose up to help make him victorious on an electoral level.

In other words, Durruti, Mr. Roberts has given Trump something significant to ponder, and the American working class loves to believe they have a say as to how our government operates oversea$.

The huge question remains as to who (?) President Trump will be accountable to for American foreign policy; especially with regard to Greater Israel's interests. As you know, voters have little impact upon foreign policy since the days of JFK's (unsolved) murder!

Consequently, When it comes to Trump's dealings with Putin's Russia, Syria and Iran, will Trump look to working class interests or to those of his greatest campaign contributor, Sheldon Adelson?

Below is an article written by a controversial Trump supporter who does not cotton to the influence of Jewish oligarchs upon U.S. foreign policy... such view precedes the official 9-11 Commission whoppers and the lying W. Bush administration's Shock & Awe upon Baghdad, 4/2003. (NOTE: Below, at minimum, I hope the American working class gets acquainted with the Mighty financial oligarchs who double-down in support of "Crooked" Hillary's losing campaign)

Blacks and browns seem pretty working class. They lost the election, big time. 88% and 65% for Hillary, respectively.

The blacks and Hispanics could easily have derailed Trump’s campaign if they really wanted to. His victory margins in swing states weren’t exactly huge and he lost the popular vote nationally. Arizona, Pennsylvania etc could have gone Democrat if minorities were really keen on voting in Hillary and stopping Trump. Many blacks were probably torn between supporting the Dems on welfare and agreeing with Trump on immigration. Some Hispanics may also have agreed with Trump on trade – after all, many of them would probably still be in Mexico if it wasn’t for NAFTA.

  46. Dear Mr Roberts,

Thank you for an excellent synopsis.

    Truly first rate.

The singular characteristic that Donald Trump shared with the newly elected Barack Obama (of eight years ago) was his intense repudiation and rejection of the Iraq war.

This is the “singular” characteristic that brought him the Presidency.

Had Hillary voted “NAY” on the Iraq war,(as well as other things) she would probably be entering the oval office next year.

The question I have (now) is will “The Donald” be willing to “Lie us into War ” ?

None of us will forget the Republican debate when he purloined Jeb Bush (and company) with that very statement.

It was the moment when Donald Trump cleared his path to the White House.

If President Trump chooses to do one thing, and one thing alone, and that ‘s NOT “lie us into war”, we should all be okay.

President Trump has just inherited the hotel/ casino USA, and he looks around and what does he see, the hallways are dirty, the paint is chipping ,the food is ill-prepared, room service is late, the waiters are rude, the suites are dirty, the towels are moldy, the sheets are stained, and in half the rooms the air conditioning doesn’t work and the TV is on the fritz.

But in Hotel / Casino USA the “security” team has been living high on the hog, raiding the till for “trillions”, bleeding the hotel into near bankruptcy, spying on the guests, breaking the kneecaps of hundreds of innocent roulette players, for the fun and show of it, and generally having their way of the place…while everything else has gone to sh#t.

Is that really the way to run the greatest hotel/ casino on the planet ?

    Is it Mr Roberts ?

    Is it……….. President (elect)Trump ?

We elected “you” to take over “the shop”, throw out the riff-raff ,and run a clean, profitable and magnificent enterprise.

Are you up to the task ?

You (Mr. Trump) say its going to be “beautiful”.

    Show us.

The most important thing, Mr President, is don’t RE -HIRE the riff- raff.

Don’t RE- HIRE the Iraq war LIARS.

Clean it up, make us….. whole.

    Run a tight ship.

    Make it great.

    You can do it.

He has the same to do with the working class that FDR did. How did that work out for the working class? Maybe, and I hope so, Trump is a person putting the interests of America before his own like FDR did. You do realize that FDR was considered a traitor to his class and there is ample evidence to suggest that the wealthy families of the day conspired overthrow him using Smedley Butler the twice Medal of Honor winner who reported the activity to authorities but it was quietly allowed to die by our government.

    2. workplace enforcement
    3. deportation mechanisms in place
    4. no more foreign adventures

Let the neocons bray all day long about Iran - just don't do anything.

Here are some domestic policies I think are necessary:
    1. Get rid of the public schools.
    2. Get rid of welfare.
    3. No, seriously! Get rid of welfare. Especially those trillion dollar bailouts for those multi-national corporations.
    4. Get rid of social Security. Try to phase this one out by giving the elderly as much money as they have paid.

Prior to SS during the Great Depression when people lost everything, the elderly were destitute and if they had no immediate family and would have been living on the streets with no way to support themselves - count me out.

Unless we as a society want to go back to those day of multi-generational families in one household, I don't think there well be an end to SS. However, there are things we can do - end disability for everybody and put the truly disabled into some housing facility. End all welfare for immigrants - especially the elderly dropped off onto the system by their immigrant kids. We will have to have some form of means testing but if it is too harsh it will kill the whole program.

Without the restoration of our Democratic Republic, there will be no possibility of honest elections, or any other aspects of an honest political process. I am not just picking on Roberts. I attended a Julie Stein (Greens), rally, and what she did not say spoke louder than the expressed platitudes of her bland speech. She also, by her candidacy, supported the Zionist American Propaganda, that, despite everything, Vietnam to Iraq, to Libya, to Syria, to Puerto Rico, to Palestine, to Afghanistan, Yugoslavia, and a dozen other destroyed nations, that America is a Sovereign nation, that sports a Democratic political culture.

Yes, is is a pleasure to see the greatest concentration of evil hatred in one individual not receive the Rothschild nod (although the Oligarchs have been stringing her on, and utilizing her for decades (with promises of ultimate glory and fame). Killery Clinton and husband/wife? Billy, signed their names in Blood, years ago, and the Rothschilds/Devils do not treat their Traitorous underlings well. In the end they get the shaft.

Enjoy. Casino Trump has yet to Front (verb), for the murder of millions and the destruction of nations. He will have his opportunity. Lucky him! He may yearn for his Casinos before he is through.

Enjoy our moments of hope and illusion.

I prefer to Enjoy the VISION: that of the restoration of our Democratic Republic, under God, with Liberty, and much positive emotion.

The ancient lament of the Hebrews under the yoke of Egypt was "You can't make bricks without straw." The straw Trump will need to make his administration is experienced people. Which leads to a problem.

Neocons have been in power so long that they have deliberately crowded out, defamed, defunded and excluded most of their competitors. And while many Neocons have burned their bridges to a Trump Administration, it only takes one bridge to bring them back. So that bears watching.

No doubt the Oligarchs have their knives out for Trump, but Trump is best viewed in the style of Machiavelli's The Prince. He will rule by his wits with ruthless cunning, strength and skill. In other words, Trump is doubtless getting his own knives ready.

An essential element of the “Donald Brand” is the term, You’re Fired!

Most do work. They just have disproportionately more who don't than do whites. He's right, they're mostly working class.

The white working class was the backbone of the Trump electoral vote, followed by college-educated whites.

It's a shame most brown/black voters can't recognize how the liberal policies screw them over and fall for empty rhetoric and handouts in the short term to buy their votes despite the long term woe those policies bring.

Well, at least we could count on the Sailer Strategy. And if Trump succeeds in his wall and deportations, we will still be able to count on it.

“The white working class was the backbone of the Trump electoral vote, followed by college-educated whites.”

Not exactly. It was the backbone of the swing to Trump. His core vote was still the rich middle class, especially the married ones. Don't want to upset anyone, but our electoral college is totally undemocratic. However, the election results are quite interesting.

Please, could anybody explain me what Trump has to do with the working class? He was born in a family of millionaires, educated in private elite institutions, his father gave him a million just to start his own business. Trump is a typical 1%, a tycoon. How can he understand working people? He never ever lived among them. He's as far from people as it can be possible for the 1%.

Prior to SS during the Great Depression when people lost everything, the elderly were destitute and if they had no immediate family and would have been living on the streets with no way to support themselves – count me out.

Unless we as a society want to go back to those day of multi-generational families in one household, I don’t think there well be an end to SS. However, there are things we can do – end disability for everybody and put the truly disabled into some housing facility. End all welfare for immigrants – especially the elderly dropped off onto the system by their immigrant kids. We will have to have some form of means testing but if it is too harsh it will kill the whole program.

As follow up to what Greg Bacon wrote to help further expose the immortal "grave-robbing Fed," please let me add the fact that High Finance "robbers" are adding to their success of stealing U.S. elections, especially since the 2000 POTUS outcome and this past Tuesday's.

Months ago, (I believe) way back when author Linh Dinh taught at Leipzig University, he added a fascinating comment on one of his European Postcards about how Josef Stalin saw democratic elections. It stuck with me ever since!

L.D. noted how Stalin said something (to an oracle effect), "It's not the votes that count, but it's who counts the votes that actually matters."

To date, I am busy driving daily school bus and I spend excessive time here (as guest) at The Unz Review. Unfortunately, time taken to learn exactly where Linh Dinh had come across the Stalin quote has been placed (by myself) on a "short leash."

In short, from what Donald Trump has already told us about "rigged" POTUS, Hillary's quick acquiescence to The Peoples Will, & city wide protest riots being blamed on known election "rigger" George Soros, I am strongly attracted to believe the Vodzh was way ahead of his time with regard to what was in store for U.S. democracy.

So PUBLICbank Feder..., I favor the old Ronald Reagan administration vet, Paul Craig Roberts, for appointment as Treasury Secretary! Even though Mr. Roberts has gotten Mr. Trumps election wr0ng by attributing it to U.S. "Working Class" power, he knows how Jewish oligarch & multi national corporate MONEY managed to bribe U.S. Congress and dispatch "good paying family jobs" everywhere except for the now insecure Homeland shores.

If Trump is really against Zio/neocons – Why he was a keynote speaker at the AIPAC convention especially his Jewish and pro-Israel opponent Bernie Sander told AIPAC to get lost?

Why Trump hired Zio/neocons to run his campaign and advise him on foreign policy matters?

Why Trump has used Crypto Jew Frank Gaffney’s anti-Muslim lies to insult American Muslims?

Is Trump not a child sex abuser and Wall Street pawn? Both fields are monopolized by Zionist Jews.

According to the Jew York Times (December 9, 2015) Trump’s anti-Muslim figures came from a June 2015 poll conducted by Israel advocacy group, The Center for Security Policy, founded in 1988 by Crypto Jew Frank Gaffney…

Good question about the working class and Trump. American working class always suffered from false consciousness.

false consciousness - a way of thinking that prevents a person from perceiving the true nature of their social or economic situation (in Marxist theory).

When you are the owner, the banker that's the ideal situation. They want to keep people in the state of false consciousness for ever. They mastered many social engineering techniques of which divide and rule is the most important but also there are bread and circuses. Multiethnic society is much easier to control that's is why they keep telling us that diversity is our (they mean theirs) strengths.

Americans do not know what Marxists wrote, moreover they have been taught to hate Marxism or any form of economical left. So, they’ll never know.

An interesting comparison. But I think FDR was a much more intelligent and noble man. But who knows, anything is possible.

  84. Mr. Roberts, speaking about working people. Can you explain as an American who must be very concerned about the well-being of common people, why in America, the world’s richest, and allegedly most developed and most democratic country, there are such very backward anti-people things as:

*The U.S. is the ONLY country in the Americas without a national paid parental leave benefit. The average is over 12 weeks of paid leave anywhere other than Europe and over 20 weeks in Europe.
*Zero industrialized nations are without a mandatory option for new parents to take parental leave. That is, except for the United States.
*At least 134 countries have laws setting the maximum length of the work week; the U.S. does not.
*There is not a federal law requiring paid sick days in the United States.
*The U.S. remains the only industrialized country in the world that has no legally mandated annual leave.

    https://20somethingfinance.com/american-hours-worked-productivity-vacation/

Why do you and most of your colleagues rarely raise such very important issues for working people? Why do American politicians, including presidential candidates, hardly raise these issues? Why does America remain so unfriendly to working people, like a country stuck in capitalism of the 1910s?

I did not follow the debates, but has ever Trump offered a clear-cut solution (that is a federal law) for these problems, which must have been fixed some 50 years ago already?

But why should it be a federal law necessarily? I mean, unless the absence of paid sick days is an absolutely intolerable injustice, why, in a huge country like the US, can't it be mandated on the state, or even community (county) level? Different communities might have different ideas...
  85. If you want to know how these protests are organized all you have to do is ask. I’ve been in or lead a couple of hundred in my years. We never had 2 nickels to rub together. If anybody ever appeared with money they would be immediately denounced as provocateurs.

You can’t herd cats. Get it? These folks are already self-organized. They won’t take anybody’s orders or lead. They just hit the phones and emails and spread the word. There are sometimes marshalls, but you make your own signs and dovetail in. This Is The Discipline. They’re mad as hell and want to blow off steam. When that happens, then they’ll just evaporate. Everybody is worn out and goes home.

I don’t agree with this bunch, so I choose not to march with them. My choice. I think Mr. Robert’s analysis above is correct. When he calls for a demonstration of support, I’ll be there. I’ll get there on my own and put my shoulder to the wheel on my own responsibility.

Ah, yes, how could I forget well-known American federalism and disintegration. Sometimes I like it, but in most cases I don't. In fact it has created only legal chaos, when cross the border between two states or even two counties and you'll enter a new legal domain with its own set of laws, rules, restrictions, no-no's, fines and whatnot. A pure legal mess. If neither of states have improved its labor laws to make them more friendly to workers, so why to expect they'll do it in the future? Or, for example, California may make such laws, but Oregon may not and workers there will continue to live like half-slaves. Is it a fair country? Where is the unity? Often the USA seems more disintegrated than the EU, but the former claims to be one country! So either all American workers of the entire country begin to work for life and not live for work, or it will never change. Otherwise there is no point in electing a President, even the one who is friendly to working people, because what could he change anyway if anything is decided locally? The existence of the Union often seems pointless, there must be 50 independent countries with their own policies and laws, then.

By the way, Australia have states, but anyway the Commonwealth sets minimum guaranteed leaves.

Different communities might have different ideas…

I think there are only two ideas: either workers are at the mercy of their bosses or they do have rights to live like humans and not like working robots. Nearly all developed countries know that and have chosen the latter many years ago, but America did not. The conclusion is inevitable: America is a backward country which legally allows the employers to freely exploit theirs employees.

In fact there's not much to do. Labor standards in the USA have been for long defined by the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938, but back then they failed to mention vacations or leaves. It is only a question of adding a couple of paragraphs. Very few American politicians have been concerned about it (Sanders has), but nothing is changing.

When people like you are trying to humiliate others with personal attacks and insults they only humiliate themselves. With such comments you show not your alleged high intellect which you lack, but rather very bad manners.

Nobody cared or asked if you personally read Marx and what you think about him, boast about your personal "achievements" in some other place. The question is not about Marx, and I do not care about him. The question is if the author of the article is speaking about classes, then what does a person from the upper class have to do with the working class? There is no genuine reason for the former to feel a sincere empathy for the latter, unless he is Gautama Siddhartha. So no matter who was Marx, the issue remains the same: people do not understand class hierarchy and class solidarity.

There is an interesting view on Marxism, which (the view) I sympathize. Marxism as a whole is a pseudoscience and any application of it to the real life is wrong, e.g. attempts to create an entirely new society according to Marx, like the Bolsheviks did. Pseudoscience does not work when it meets the reality. So Marxism resembles a pseudoscientific new religious movement (Scientology and the like) and hardcore Marxists are like religious fanatics.

But at the same time there is nothing wrong to consider it as another philosophy with some good points which can be used. For example, the notion of classes which is so widespread and usual today.

I've had Rehmat on Ignore since the feature was added. Unz is a good site for material, but the nutjobs are as thick as Nutella. Have you noticed that the crazier they are, the longer the comments? I've been foruming since '82, and I have never encountered such a concentration of paranoid wackiness in one spot like this.

I skim through everybody’s stuff, even if it is total nonsense – that whole blind squirrel and acorn thing you know.

Ourselves Alone (we will receive no help from the oligarchs).

    Durruti,

For the Anarchist Collective, and the Minutemen, and Sons and Daughters of Liberty.

There was a coup 11/22/1963 but please, it was not “Zionist,” though there were so many suspects that there were inevitably a few among them. A major cog in the wheel of death, Allen Dulles, was son of a Presbyterian cleric. He was fired by Kennedy, but bravely pulled his socks up and served on the Warren Commission when the sad time came, determined to see justice done, no doubt. The coup d’etat of 63 is still a hot button as evidenced by they way they are still lying about it in the MSM. Trump cleanly kicked Cruz out of the race by referring to Cruz’s dad handling out leaflets with LHO. I showed that picture to half a dozen people, including a Chinese lady from Taiwan, and each one immediately recognized Cruz’s father there. Don’t want to turn a spotlight on that.

    We are in substantial agreement.

The MOSSAD & its junior agency, the CIA, organized the muder of JF Kennedy and our Republic.

Our last constitutional President, and our Republic were shot down - in a hail of gunfire. And the Zionist owned and controlled Media flavored their poisoned deed, as they continue to brainwash to the present.

    1. The Warren Commission had 13 members, 12 of them Official CIA Operatives, and Warren, likely a member as well.

    2. The 9/11 Twin Towers terrorist atrocity bears the same fingerprints. The 5 filming and high-five-ing Israelis, who were arrested & held for 72 days, is but one clue. The Israeli film crew knew about the event - BEFORE IT HAPPENED.

    3. The destruction of nation after nation in the Middle East, and Africa; now, who does that benefit?

Who did Allen Dulles serve? And the American Congress, & its Hollywood Obomber, Killery Clinton, Casino Trump, and those to come.

    The coffee is wearing off!

However the implementation, the application of every fucking thing that he wrote caused the deaths of millions and millions.

Nope, sure didn't. Hey, I thought you read the original German? I don't read German, but in the translations, not once does Marx state that the communist rise to implementation will take place through violence. Not once. Was there something in the German original the translators left out? Give me chapter and verse, if you can.

Your preoccupation with trying to think up insults that will affect me is rather quaintly amusing.

Myself, an American have read Marx and I fully know what he wrote, and I also know that he was a deranged madman, as opposed to idiots like yourself who think that he was some kind of "scientist" or "genius".
You do not know what you are blathering about.

When people like you are trying to humiliate others with personal attacks and insults they only humiliate themselves. With such comments you show not your alleged high intellect which you lack, but rather very bad manners.

Nobody cared or asked if you personally read Marx and what you think about him, boast about your personal “achievements” in some other place.

What kind of person would put a tagline on his comments that is nothing more than infantile braggadocio?

Marx was neither deranged nor mad. He offered a few insights into economics that have some value. He proposed a utopia called "communism". Utopias were all the rage among philosophical writers of the time. Read up a bit, boofer.

For example, the notion of classes which is so widespread and usual today.

a clear-cut solution (that is a federal law) for these problems

But why should it be a federal law necessarily? I mean, unless the absence of paid sick days is an absolutely intolerable injustice, why, in a huge country like the US, can't it be mandated on the state, or even community (county) level? Different communities might have different ideas...

But why should it be a federal law necessarily? I mean, unless the absence of paid sick days is an absolutely intolerable injustice, why, in a huge country like the US, can’t it be mandated on the state, or even community (county) level?

Ah, yes, how could I forget well-known American federalism and disintegration. Sometimes I like it, but in most cases I don’t. In fact it has created only legal chaos, when cross the border between two states or even two counties and you’ll enter a new legal domain with its own set of laws, rules, restrictions, no-no’s, fines and whatnot. A pure legal mess. If neither of states have improved its labor laws to make them more friendly to workers, so why to expect they’ll do it in the future?

In fact there’s not much to do. Labor standards in the USA have been for long defined by the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938, but back then they failed to mention vacations or leaves. It is only a question of adding a couple of paragraphs. Very few American politicians have been concerned about it (Sanders has), but nothing is changing.

As a citizen of a country which is officially called federation I'd say our federalism is no match for the American one. It's enough that each American state has its own driver's license and you should change it in case you are moving in. Or each state has its own criminal statue/code and you cannot know for sure what is unlawful in the state you moving in. It looks like every state is a semi-independent country which does not care what is happening just over the state border.

    Switzerland is what I like…

What nonsense. According to Lenin, there are three component parts of marxism:
    - historical materialism,
    - economic theory (the labor theory of value, the doctrine of surplus-value), and
    - the doctrine of class struggle.

It’s perfectly scientific, and provides analytic framework for explaining many real socioeconomic phenomena… Not the whole of reality, obviously.

Drivers’ license is not important. But the minimum wage and other labor-related details are negotiated locally, between employers’ associations and trade unions. And renegotiated every year. Surely this is much more fine-tuned and flexible than a federal law would be…
