This article by Moon of Alabama is not conspiracy theory:http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/46056.htm Read it carefully. Check out the links.

The article is a documented and accurate description of a coup that is underway. The extraordinary lies that are being perpetrated by the media and by members of the US government have as their obvious purpose the prevention of a Donald Trump presidency. There is no other reason for the extraordinary blatant lies for which there is not a shred of evidence. Indeed, there is massive real evidence to the contrary. Yet the coup proceeds and gathers steam.

President Eisenhower warned us more than a half century ago of the danger that the military/security complex presents to US democracy. In the decades since Eisenhower’s warning, the military/security complex has become more powerful than the American people and is demonstrating its power by overturning a presidential election.

Will the coup succeed?

In my opinion, former and present members of the US government and the media would not dare to so obviously and openly participate in a coup against democracy and an elected president unless they expect the coup to succeed.

It is an easy matter for the ruling interests to bribe electors to vote differently than their states. The cost of the bribes is miniscule compared to the wealth and income streams that a trillion dollar annual budget provides to the military/security complex. The fake news of a Putin/Trump election-stealing plot generated by unsupported allegations of present and former members of US intelligence, the lame-duck President Obama, and the presstitute media provide the cover for electors to break with precedent “in order to save America from a Russian stooge.”

The CIA-controlled European media, the politicians in Washington’s European vassal states, NATO officials, and the brainwashed European peoples will support the coup against Trump.

The only ones speaking against the coup are the voters who elected Trump—all of whom are alleged to have been deceived by Russian fake news— the Russian government, and the 200 websites falsely described by the Washington Post and the secret organization PropOrNot as Russian agents.

In other words, those objecting to the coup are the ones described by the coup leaders as those who made the coup necessary.

I do not know that the coup will succeed, but looking at the commitment so many high level people have made to the coup, I conclude that those bringing the coup expect it to succeed.

Therefore, we should take very seriously the expectation of success that those who control levers of power are demonstrating.

  1. You know, it this was a Republican lame duck president openly questioning the election of his Democratic successor, that Republican president would’ve been immediately vilified as a new Hitler.

    Even this kind of stuff:

“What makes me cautiously optimistic about my successor and the shift from campaign mode to governance is there is something about the solemn responsibilities of that office … that it forces you to focus,” Obama said [to Merkel].

would’ve been decried as beyond the pale… But not if you’re Barack “Hope&Change” Obama…

  2. Avery says:

    Let’s think this through.

No doubt there is a concerted effort to deny the office of POTUS to Trump by elements in the CIA, private parties (Jill Stein, the re-tread has-been actors urging electors to not vote for Trump, ….), Obama&Co blatantly lying that allegedly Putin personally ordered the hacks (how would they know?),etc, etc….

Let’s say enough Republican electors bolt to deny Trump the 270 electoral votes. What happens next?

The Republican majority in the House of Reps votes for somebody else.
    Who?
Who other than Trump will be acceptable to the 62 million Americans who voted for Trump?
Anybody other than Trump will be regarded as illegitimate.

Are red-white&blue Americans in flyover country – God, country, and guns – simply going to roll over and accept the illegitimate puppet?

  3. There can only be a military coup if you have the support of the military. The military is still overwhelmingly white and the officer class likewise. After 15 years of futile wars, it appears relieved to have a President who wants to get them out of such wars. Support for a CIA coup will be opposed by the military, by force if need be.
The CIA is a massively expanded and expansionist Intelligence apparatus. It is entirely post-WWII in nature. It is the American equivalent of the Praetorian Guard, which also had intelligence functions. Constantine the Great abolished it. Pray that President Trump abolishes the CIA.

That’s a good question. If the College did not elect Trump on Monday, what would happen? Constitutionally speaking, the College decides and is not bound by the popular votes of their respective states; it is up to the states to punish electors that don’t vote according to their rules, but it is questionable whether the states pose much of a threat. So any organized opposition to the choice of the electors would justifiably be accused of attacking the Constitution.

  5. Secession/Nullification. There will be no peace for a very long time if Trump is denied the presidency and especially if he is killed.

Yes they will. As long as they can come home for dinner that’s all that matters. Americans are too comfortable to start building tunnels and stockpiling rockets to resist the US government.

And if push comes to shove then…you know…those cute AR-15s are just children’s toys compared to the 2000-lb bombs they can drop from 10,000 feet in the air (or Hellfires I guess, because drones are more reliable than pilots).

No, Paul C. Roberts, it is NOT an easy matter to bribe electors to vote differently than their states. If it were so, such faithless electors would have been a regular occurrence in the history of your country. Instead, they are about as rare as unicorns.

These electors are dyed-in-the-wool political persons. They have taken the role of electors role exactly to enhance their careers in politics, not to grab some million and run away in disgrace. For them to choose voting against the popular electorate’s will would mean an end of their lifelong aspirations.

In relation to that, I recommend the excellent show on the link Website right next to my name.

    No.

2/ When Trump easily wins the Electoral College vote, will PCR and others admit they were wrong.

    No.

    Sorry, couldn’t hear ‘military-security’.

Industrial refers to the arms manufacturers. Not CIA.

    Will the coup succeed?

Neither here nor there. The coup will fail. Which is why you should be calling it what it is: an attempted coup.

Even if faithless electors manage to send it to a vote in the House of Representatives (they won’t), the latter will face a simple “Hillary vs. Trump” choice, and they will elect Trump.

The Republican majority in the House of Reps votes for somebody else.
    Who?
Who other than Trump will be acceptable to the 62 million Americans who voted for Trump?
Anybody other than Trump will be regarded as illegitimate.

As I understand it, the House will be forced to choose between cankles and Trump, no “write ins” allowed.

The whole point of this attempted coup is not to win, but to fight. The goal is to diminish Trump’s legitimacy in the eyes of the public.

  12. Svigor says:

My mistake, the choices available to the House would depend on how the vote in the Electoral College goes:

    https://www.archives.gov/federal-register/electoral-college/faq.html

What happens if no presidential candidate gets 270 Electoral votes?

If no candidate receives a majority of Electoral votes, the House of Representatives elects the President from the 3 Presidential candidates who received the most Electoral votes. Each state delegation has one vote. The Senate would elect the Vice President from the 2 Vice Presidential candidates with the most Electoral votes. Each Senator would cast one vote for Vice President. If the House of Representatives fails to elect a President by Inauguration Day, the Vice-President Elect serves as acting President until the deadlock is resolved in the House.

My guess is that in practice, this will mean the House would be limited to voting for cankles, or voting for Trump.

  13. Anonymous [AKA "chepup"] says:

I hope Trump shuts the CIA down.
Imagine the worldwide PR coup that would be?

“yes I have closed down the lying and discredited CIA. For too long it has justified war with flawed intelligence, damaged our reputation with illegal acts and used our tax dollars in wasteful and self serving activities. I have arrested serving and former leaders who will all face criminal charges. Mike Morrell, has been sent to our prison in Cuba to be shown firsthand the methods of torture he approved. The CIA was long past it’s use by date and from today will no longer create chaos in our name”.
