The demand of President Donald Trump that congress should appropriate money to build a wall securing the nation’s southern border has resulted in the longest federal government shutdown in history with no end in sight. There is considerable opposition to the wall based on two quite different perceptions of border security. The generally “progressive” view is that there is no border threat at all, that the thousands of migrants heading for the U.S. can be assimilated and indeed should be allowed entry because of U.S. government policies in Central America that have created the ruined states that the would-be immigrants have been fleeing.

There is certainly some truth to that argument, though it suggests that the United States should essentially abandon sovereignty over its own territory, which most Americans would reject. The alternative viewpoint, which has a much broader bipartisan constituency, consists of those who do feel that border security is a national priority but are nevertheless critical of building a wall, which will be expensive, possibly ineffective and environmentally damaging. They prefer other options, to include increased spending on the border guards, more aggressive enforcement against existing illegals and severe punishment of businesses in the U.S. that hire anyone not possessing legal documentation. Some also have argued in favor of a national ID issued only to citizens or legal permanent residents that would have to be produced by anyone seeking employment or government services.

Whether the wall will ever be built is questionable, but one thing that is certain is that there is more than enough hypocrisy regarding it to go around. Democratic Presidents including Bill Clinton and Barack Obama when campaigning have called for better border security, as have Democratic Congressional leaders who are now smelling blood and attacking Trump for seeking to do what they have long at least theoretically sought.

Apart from that, many of the Democrats who are currently criticizing the southern border wall on moral grounds have failed to apply the same standard to another infamous wall, that which is being built by Israel. Israel’s “separation wall” is arguably being constructed at least in part using “aid” and charitable money provided by Washington while also being enabled politically by the U.S. government’s acquiescence to the Israeli violations of international law. And if the moral argument for not having a wall to aid suffering refugees has any meaning, it would be many times more so applied to the Israeli wall, which is an instrument in the maintenance of apartheid in areas under Israeli control while also making permanent the stateless status of the more than one million Palestinian refugees, far more in number than the would-be immigrants marching through Mexico.

The Israeli wall is at many points larger and more intimidating than that planned by Trump, and it is also designed to physically and economically devastate the Palestinian population adjacent to it. Israel’s wall is undeniably far more damaging than anything being considered for placement along the U.S.-Mexican border as it operates as both a security measure and a tool for confiscating more Arab land by including inside the barrier illegal West Bank settlements.

There are both physical similarities and differences relating to the two walls. Judging from prototypes, Trump currently appears to favor prefabricated mostly metal sections with barbed wire coils on top that would be high and intimidating enough to deter climbing over. The sections would be set in foundations sufficiently deep to deter most tunneling and there would be sensors at intervals to alert guards to other attempts to penetrate the barrier. Israel’s wall varies in terms of structural material, including large concrete blocks 28 feet high in some areas while other less populated stretches that are considered low security make do with multiple lines of barbed wire and sensors. It is interesting to note that some Israeli companies have apparently expressed interest in building the Mexico wall and, as one of the many perks Israel receives from congress includes the right to bid on U.S. government contracts, they might well wind up as a contractors or subcontractors if the barrier is ever actually built.

As noted above, the principal difference between the U.S. wall and that of Israel is that the American version is all on U.S. land and is engineered to more or less run in a straight line along the border. The Israeli version is nearly 90% built on Palestinian land and, as it is designed to create facts on the West Bank, it does not run in a straight line, instead closing off some areas to the Palestinians by surrounding Arab villages. It therefore keeps people in while also keeping people out, so it is not strictly speaking a security barrier. Indeed, some Israeli security experts have stated their belief that the wall has been only a minor asset in preventing violence directed by Palestinians against Israelis.

If the Israeli wall had followed the Green Line that separated Israel proper from Palestinian land it would be only half the estimated 440 miles long that it will now be upon completion. The extra miles are accounted for by the deep cuts of as much as 11 miles into the West Bank, isolating about 9% of it and completely enclosing 25,000 Palestinian Arabs from areas nominally controlled by the Palestinian Authority. One often cited victim of the barrier is the Palestinian town of Qalqilyah, with a population of 45,000, which is enclosed on all sides by a wall that in some sections measures more than 25 feet high. Qalqilyah is only accessible through an Israeli controlled military checkpoint on the main road from the east and a tunnel on the south side that links the town to the adjacent village of Habla.

The wall is therefore only in part a security measure while also being a major element in the Israeli plan to gradually acquire as much of the West Bank as possible – perhaps all of it – for Israeli settlers. It is a form of collective punishment based on religion to make life difficult for local people and eventually drive them from their homes.

The human costs for the Palestinians have consequently been high. A United Nations 2005 report states that :

… it is difficult to overstate the humanitarian impact of the Barrier. The route inside the West Bank severs communities, people’s access to services, livelihoods and religious and cultural amenities. In addition, plans for the Barrier’s exact route and crossing points through it are often not fully revealed until days before construction commences. This has led to considerable anxiety amongst Palestinians about how their future lives will be impacted… The land between the Barrier and the Green Line constitutes some of the most fertile in the West Bank. It is currently the home for 49,400 West Bank Palestinians living in 38 villages and towns.”

Amnesty International in a 2004 report observed:

“The fence/wall, in its present configuration, violates Israel’s obligations under international humanitarian law… Since the summer of 2002 the Israeli army has been destroying large areas of Palestinian agricultural land, as well as other properties, to make way for a fence/wall which it is building in the West Bank. In addition to the large areas of particularly fertile Palestinian farmland that have been destroyed, other larger areas have been cut off from the rest of the West Bank by the fence/wall. The fence/wall is not being built between Israel and the Occupied Territories but mostly (close to 90%) inside the West Bank, turning Palestinian towns and villages into isolated enclaves, cutting off communities and families from each other, separating farmers from their land and Palestinians from their places of work, education and health care facilities and other essential services. This in order to facilitate passage between Israel and more than 50 illegal Israeli settlements located in the West Bank.

Of course, the situation has become far worse for Palestinians since the two reports dating from 2004 and 2005. Israel has accelerated its settlement construction and the wall has expanded and shifted to accommodate those changes, making life impossible for the indigenous population.

Any pushback from the United States has been rare to nonexistent, with successive administrations only occasionally mentioning that the settlements themselves are “troubling” or a “complication” vis-à-vis a peace settlement. The first direct criticism of the wall itself took place in 2003, when the Bush administration briefly considered reducing loan guarantees to discourage its construction. Then Secretary of State Colin Powell remarked “A nation is within its rights to put up a fence if it sees the need for one. However, in the case of the Israeli fence, we are concerned when the fence crosses over onto the land of others.”

On May 25, 2005, Bush repeated his concerns, noting that “I think the wall is a problem. And I discussed this with Ariel Sharon. It is very difficult to develop confidence between the Palestinians and Israel with a wall snaking through the West Bank.” In a letter to Sharon he stated that it “should be a security rather than political barrier, should be temporary rather than permanent and therefore not prejudice any final status issues including final borders, and its route should take into account, consistent with security needs, its impact on Palestinians not engaged in terrorist activities.”

Congress is, of course, Israeli occupied territory so its response was directed against Powell and Bush in support of anything Israel chose to do. Then Senator Joe Lieberman complained “The administration’s threat to cut aid to Israel unless it stops construction of a security fence is a heavy-handed tactic. The Israeli people have the right to defend themselves from terrorism, and a security fence may be necessary to achieve this.”

In 2005, Senator Hillary Clinton declared her support for the wall by claiming that the Palestinian Authority had failed to fight terrorism. “This is not against the Palestinian people. This is against the terrorists. The Palestinian people have to help to prevent terrorism. They have to change the attitudes about terrorism.” Senator Charles Schumer, also from New York, added “As long as the Palestinians send terrorists onto school buses and to nightclubs to blow up people, Israel has no choice but to build the Security Wall.”

So, for many in Washington a legal and relatively apolitical wall by the United States to protect its border is a horrible prospect while the Israeli version built on someone else’s land with the intention to damage the local Arab population as much as possible is perfectly fine. The reality is that America’s Establishment, which is dominated by veneration of Israel for a number of reasons, is completely hypocritical, more prepared to criticize actions taken by the United States even when those actions are justified than they are to condemn Israeli actions that amount to crimes against humanity. That is the reality and it is playing out in front of us right now.

  1. Whether we build the wall or not can be argued, but what cannot be argued is that an illegal immigrant is “illegal” and there is no moral argument to aid or abet that. However, that responsibility should also be shared by employers who hire illegal aliens as well as state governments that provide them welfare and other aid.

    As Ron Paul said:

“Well, I think it would look a lot different. We would have to educate the people that we’re not owing everyone who comes here illegal a living, a job, and school, and medical care and the whole works,” Paul explained. “I would remove all of the incentives. One of the biggest incentives is the easy road to citizenship. So I don’t happen to believe that an illegal should get in line for citizenship. We’ve got to abolish that.”

Maybe it has become politically untenable for Trump at this point to back away from the wall, but I would suggest that he uses Ron Paul’s argument should he decide to compromise.

  3. When we get the likes of a President Pence, it’s certainly possible the future name of our southern border’s patrol should be “Grenztruppen der DDR.” Speaking of talking heads in the sand, I notice Phil gives about one short sentence attention to the preceding (keeping people in, not out), but it is at least as relevant (if not more relevant) as the ‘other’ wall and certainly deserving of as much, if not more ink. Kids often resemble parents in their thinking isn’t that far off of the mark, here’s my hypothetical Phil Jr or a ‘mini me’ overlooking where we’re pointed to right here at home:

  4. Well, Dr. Giraldi,

    I like these ideas,

Some also have argued in favor of a national ID issued only to citizens or legal permanent residents that would have to be produced by anyone seeking employment or government services,”

I also like a wall, not a border fence, not steel barrier, not stretched part way in key strategic positions, but a “wall. And unlike Israel’s wall, one that stretches along our border and encloses no one but US citizens.

I don’t understand any US citizen who supports walls, barriers, enclaves, regime change and all manner of international violations on behalf of foreign states while sticking a knife in the back of US citizens.

    It is bizarre.

The problem could have been solved by vigorous enforcement of the existing laws that penalize the employers of illegal aliens. But Trump does not talk about it and Ron Paul does not really talk about it. Talking about the path to citizenship is a red herring in this case. Chamber of Commerce republicans do not want to solve the problem of illegal aliens in the US. They do not want Americans to know that the problem could be solved very easily w/o a wall.

I have never believed that the wall was needed and I always suspected that neither Trump nor people who are behind him believed in the wall either. I always suspected that the whole tak about the wall about the creation of the Meme of The Wall was to legitimize and normalize Izrael’s wall and gain more support for Israel on the populist right. The Wall is just a rhetorical and propaganda device focusing Trumps supporters on something that is unimportant to America.

However The Wall has a strong symbolic value. If indeed it was fought for and built it could signal for the rest of the world and Europe in particular, that political consensus has shifted and protecting nations’ from excessive immigration is OK. And the excessive immigration is the legal immigration not illegal immigration here in the US and in Europe in the long run. The wall could perhaps lead us to reducing the legal immigration as well. For this reason I do support Trump and his talk about the wall, however if he does not start enforcing the existing laws to penalize employees and deport illegal immigrant workers I will keep suspecting he is not really serious.

  6. Why not have the army build the border wall/fence? They would then be doing something useful, for a change, and less of them would thus be available to traipse across the globe killing innocents at the US taxpayer’s expense.

Trump might want to invite to the White House some of the victims of crimes committed by illegals and make a public apology on behalf of all of the previous presidents who failed in their duty to protect the US people and US sovereignty. Let them tell their stories to the media about how their lives have been affected by the acts of those who entered the US via the “back door” and committed serious crimes while there.

As to the separation wall in Israel, all that is required is for international law to be followed and for the UN to prove that it is not completely useless after all.

  7. You can’t escape the fact that Western politicians and most Western liberals and business elites, most of whom are quite remote from real danger, have veered into collective insanity that walls, fences and borders are “immoral,” while the Israelis, who are situated right next to a number of existential threats, have embrace a more common sense view of these things. The Israelis’ actions might be reprehensible, but their self-preservation instincts are dead-on right.

  8. Ricky S says:

If the Palestinian Arabs would stop trying to kill Jews and to destroy Israel much blood and treasure would be saved on both sides. The Israeli wall was built in response to the intifada war against Israel. It is a relatively non-violent way of saving lives. That Israeli wall saved may lives, of both Israelis and Arabs; I think this is why some people object to it.

Giraldi peppers his comments with asides that slander Israel, when it is the Palestinian Arabs and the other Muslims who insist on the deaths of both Arabs and Jews.

  9. President Trump should give the wall-job to Israel, and the Dems and the Reps will rubber-stamp it. Phil Giraldi has perfectly demonstrated the difference between a so-called border wall to Mexico and the Apartheid-Wall in Israel/Palestine or the inner-German Wall (the so-called antifaschistischer Schutzwall according to East-German terminology).
The Anti-Zionist Wall is more monstrous than the Berlin Wall which was 4 meters high, whereas the Israeli Apartheid Wall is 8 meters high, and the watchtowers are 12 meters. Compared to the Israeli Wall, the Berlin Wall looked “cute.”
But what is even more critical for the US government and the US Congress, to come to grips with the predominance that the Israeli government and their accomplices in the US have on the US government and the US Congress. For an outside observer, it seems as if a foreign government and a powerful lobby are running US Middle Eastern policy. To get clean on these subjects is more important than building a barrier to Mexico. The US agencies are surveying the whole world. It would be a simple task to surveil the US/Mexico border even to detect a snake that tries to creep in the US from the other side of the fence.

Trump wants a wall to protect America. If Trump gets his wall, and American lasts forevery, then that wall will be forever.

The Rabbi’s and the Talmud tell us that once the third temple to Solomon is completed, the Noahide laws implemented, and the world court moved to Jerusalem, then the goyim will no longer have wars. They tell the jews that each jew will have goyim slaves, and that finally that will have their god given right to eliminate and enslave goyim at their whim.

So once Syria and Lebanon are colonized and Jordan and Egypt officially accept the Noahide laws, there will no longer be any need for a wall in Israel.

In this sense, the Israeli wall is a merely temporary inconvenience until the goyim accept their masters and officially welcome their enslavement. Trumps wall is not relevant to this supreme purpose, and thus is either a distraction or and impediment to Greater Israel. Therefore not only will it not be completed, it will ultimately fall before the walls in Israel.

Kamala Harris must be repeatedly challenged to explain her condemnation of Trump for “separating babies from their mothers” when we’ve heard nary a whisper about Israel grabbing Palestinian children from their beds and locking them up.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez achieved rock star status with a speech in which she said, inter alia,

“It is not normal to starve the people we serve for a proposal that is wildly unpopular among the American people.”

Wrong on the facts, AOC: Anglo Zionists and American legislators and administrations, as well as the criminal zionist and Israeli leadership have used starvation repeatedly for over a century to destroy innocent people on the path to destroying nations.

You would know that, AOC, if you knew the authentic history of predatory financiers/central bankers and Jewish revolutionaries from Bolsheviks to the Milner circle to the British starvation blockade of Germany to the Jewish economic war against Germany to the real history of Jabotinsky zionism and its Iron Wall doctrine to the Neocons and their orgasmic obsession with encircling Iran with US military bases, starving Iran, walling in Iran preparatory to destroying Iran.

Every time you open your mouth, AOC,

“….Arguments about immigration will always be with us. But it’s important to understand that the real issue isn’t freedom for immigrants – it’s your freedom.

Immigrants will continue to stream into this country, legally or illegally, so long as there’s a Welcome Wagon waiting at the border – offering free education, free health care, free welfare and a free lunch. We need to put the Welcome Wagon out of business, so only people looking for freedom will want to come here.

Until then, no law, no policy, no border patrol will stop the flood of illegals.

    Whose freedom is at stake?:

Meanwhile, new laws to limit immigration will affect you considerably. You may think those laws will keep America pure, but they will succeed only in taking more of your liberty.

Think about it. How will the government root out people who are in this country illegally? By checking their papers, of course.

But how do they know whose papers to check? They don’t. So they’ll have to check everyone’s papers – including yours.

That means more invasions of your privacy, higher taxes, more corruption in law enforcement. The police will be allowed to stop you at will and ask for your identity card – and to search your property without a warrant, checking your car or home to see if you’re harboring illegals. Your employer will have to take more of the money available for wages and divert it to filling out forms and complying with bureaucratic inspections. The red tape also will add to the prices of the things you buy.

And all the while, the people you thought you were keeping out will continue to show up to tend your yard and wash dishes at the local restaurants……..”:

Why doesn’t I. build the wall on their own territory? Second, the wall had many holes for many years and could be surpassed easily in many places. There are images of Palestinians who climbed the wall to work or to look for work on the other side. The question for I. wasn’t a question of security. It has been I. that has been killing Palestinians since they decided to conquer the land of the Palestinians. Max Blumenthal quotes an important Zionist ideologue, Berl Katznelson, what he said in 1929: “The Zionist enterprise is an enterprise of conquest.” The only purpose of the wall is to make it easier for the I. to kill Palestinians and to take their lands.

There would be an easy solution to the problem. It should be declared a part of international law that every person who is stateless and isn’t personally responsible for that should have to right to settle and to live in any place of the world they want. If this became the norm, people would find very fast a solution for the Palestinians and create a state for them.

For example, just as the Palestinians are being forced to give up land, maybe the U.S. should consider emptying out the Mesoamericanos by pushing them south of the Panama Canal thus eliminating the problem of erecting a barrier or having to worry about illegal immigrants sneaking in and we might as well grab Canada while we’re at it… you know it’s only matter of time before it happens!

I agree with you, almost completely, on every point you made.

The biggest issue facing the American people is the horrifying fact we are now 22 trillion dollars in debt because we were all lied into illegal wars of aggression.

I define “war of aggression” as an act of mass murder and the supreme crime against humanity.

The fact we are close to bankrupt, now, because our Neocon stewards deceived us into mass murdering millions of innocent people in the M.E, ..is quite an extraordinary phenomenon.

One would think the highest priority of the country would be imprisoning these belligerent defrauders, as well as seizing all their assets to pay down the heinous “war debt” their lies created.

Jews in Israel have huge walls on their Eastern borders and a huge fence on their Southern borders. – Pewitt

Wrong on the facts: Israel has no borders.

The “huge walls” you reference are built on other people’s territory, — Palestinian territory– as a means of securing to themselves territory that Jews in Israel have stolen, in violation of long-standing international norms and legal precedent.

Jews in Israel ain’t dumb. – Pewitt

Jews in Israel ain’t conformed to norms of civilized behavior established in Christian Europe centuries ago.

As to whether “Jews in Israel” are dumb?

    dumb
    adj.
temporarily unable or unwilling to speak.
“they stood dumb while the attacker poured out a stream of abuse”
synonyms: speechless, tongue-tied, wordless, silent, at a loss for words, voiceless, inarticulate, taciturn, uncommunicative, untalkative, tight-lipped, close-mouthed, saying nothing; informal mum

One thing “Jews in Israel” are most certainly not is “unwilling to speak” or “at a loss for words,” — Jews in Israel and also in USA use words like vials of poison; Jewish-dominated media acts as a gas chamber to shower the masses with deadly lies to destroy the minds of hundreds of thousands at a time, committing cultural genocide.

Through a crack in the invisible Great Wall which decades of Zionist Media & US education-indoctrinators have constructed around the American brain, & established a distorted national zeitgeist, you have offered distinguished profound sense, Grace Poole. And I am grateful.

I for one pause to note how only bare information trickles down to dumb goyim Catholic Americans about Israel’s wall which divides Bethlehem’s holy city of the Nativity.

More upsetting of course is our Zio Corporate Media’s peeps when Israel massacred Sabra and Shatilla villages, “mows the lawn,” shoots civilian Palestinian protestors, and frames Arabs for doing 9/11 and starts an unnecessary GWOT which intensifies to this very day.

However, the Democrat National Committee manages to align with Zio Media and work Party loyalists into a frenzy as to how immoral & heartless is President Trump’s demand for construction of a national (defensive) southern border wall.
Oh heavens, “he wants to wickedly separate children from parents!” (Zigh)

One cannot makeup such Judas Goat-led ‘Merikan hypocrisy! Americans have no memory of Clinton’s renowned north-to-south “Nafta Highway” and how US Chamber of Commerce, affiliated businesses, including illegal immigration consultants, formed a pathway to jobs available in albeit purposely de-industrialized American cities.

A case in point, mid-1990’s, fyi, a huge settlement of Dominicans magically began to arrive in the small & old Pennsylvania coal mining town, Shenandoah, just a few miles south of Hazleton’s huge Humboldt Industrial Park.
A famous kielbasa-making town, I recall Shenandoah’s aftermath curse especially given a local teenage rampage and revenge killing of one man, Luis Ramirez, their arrest & imprisonment.

A point: How many here remember the arrest of a US tractor-trailer driver for transporting “illegals” out of Mexico, having parked his near-airtight rig temporarily in blazing hot San Antonio sun & Wal Mart parking lot, and tragic baking of people to death? Did the driver lie when he told police he had no idea people were inside the unit? (Zigh) Where their other business accomplices, left unaccountable to Zio Law?

Lastly, Grace Poole, below is linked a report on a former-Israeli Army Chief, Benny Gantz, who is running for Israel Parliament. As advertisement for his candidacy, Gantz bragged about how successfully parts of Gaza were returned to “the Stone Age.”

Jewish engineers can give verbal lip service to doing scaling the Israeli wall for the USA, knowing full-well that they will never have to (beyond going through the motions of something meaningless) because the greater Jewish machine will block it from occurring.

The Jewish religion is about removing walls (figurative and literal) that allow goyim to have their own nations. This is deeply embedded in their central mythologies that inform their “law. Read their primary text.

Jews are the precise polar opposite of anyone that we should rely on as a partner in border control.

Counting on them to build a wall, let alone trusting them to build something reliable, is a contradiction of all rational sense. It’s analogous to giving termites the task of building a stick house.

Holding to your view of “mutually assured destruction” that forgets racist, genocidal imperialism by the Jews in Palestine demands that all history and modern politics be forgotten.

Last, and more importantly, your perspective is childish because it implies one of two things: that you have not read the Jewish Tanakh or that you have read it and are ignoring it.

What will cost the taxpayer and the country more:
    a) Continuing to allow a “flood of illegals” into the country, or;
    b) New laws to limit immigration “as they will succeed only in taking away more of your liberty.”

I get that you’re a libertarian, but your notion that, if immigration is further restricted and enforced, the Constitution would be shredded and we will descend into an Orwellian 1984-style police state, is pure fantasy and poppycock.

As for taking away the “Welcome Wagon,” that’s all well and good – In Theory. But, once they’re here, whatever their motives, we won’t let them starve (nor should we), and we will have to provide needed medical care (as we should, even if only to keep Americans safe from any diseases they might be carrying), and we will have to educate their children (as we must unless the whole family is sent back). But that can’t happen as you do not want the police to check anyone’s papers.

As you know, the USA is a Republic composed of 50 states, all having a certain degree of autonomy. Thank god that not all power is invested inside the DC Beltway. They already have far too much as it is. So, without shredding the Constitution, how do you propose to bar the Sanctuary State of California from issuing state ID’s and drivers licenses to those here illegally?

Personally, I think that it should be Unconstitutional to declare, as Governor “Moonbeam” did, that the formerly Golden State, now in free fall, is henceforth a sanctuary for all. I think that Brown should have been arrested, but he wasn’t, and I’m not a lawyer, so what do I really know anyway?

But the Federal Government does have total jurisdiction over the Borders, and that is where illegal immigration must be stopped as much as humanly possible. Once they are here, then state’s are free to exercise their powers to grant licenses, unless a Federal Court stops them. See, the ID question is not nearly so simple.

The United Nations is not useless. It is the United States that has made its power of the veto and votes useless at the U.N. The U.S. has agreed that before casting any vote for a U. N. Resolution that concerns Israel its vote or veto must first receive Israel’s approval. Therefore, the [330 million] sovereign United States’ vote within the U.N. Security Council is subjugated to agreement and permission from [5 million] sovereign Israel. Whether a pro or con vote or a veto, the United States has agreed that the vote will be cast only with permission from Israel. Consequently, the interests of the U.S. are subservient to the interests of Israel at the United Nations.

Can’t speak to “Muslims, Japanese, Koreans,” but as to “Germans under Hitler,” an accurate understanding is that the Germans were defending their own soil.

Germans may be among those who, uniquely, did not invade and take the land of another; they’ve lived in Europe since the mists of time. Iranians have been in their territory for millennia, but the first Aryans migrated from the Scythian Steppe (not that far from Khazars), but that was a very very long time ago. Nevertheless, Iranians have persisted on their territory, through numerous invasions, for far longer than, say, Jews have remained as perpetual inhabitants of the Levant.

That’s one. Second, apologies, I did not listen to Tom Lehrer. I’m busy reading originator of Revisionist Zionism Vladimir Jabotinsky’s Iron Wall Doctrine. Colonisation of Palestine
Agreement with Arabs Impossible at present
    Zionism Must Go Forward

    http://en.jabotinsky.org/media/9747/the-iron-wall.pdf

    very small excerpt:

There can be no voluntary agreement between ourselves and the Palestine Arabs. Not now, nor in the prospective future. I say this with such conviction, not because I want to hurt the moderate Zionists. I do not believe that they will be hurt. Except for those who were born blind, they realised long ago that it is utterly impossible to obtain the voluntary consent of the Palestine Arabs for converting “Palestine” from an Arab country into a country with a Jewish majority.
My readers have a general idea of the history of colonisation in other countries. I suggest that they consider all the precedents with which they are acquainted, and see whether there is one solitary instance of any colonisation being carried on with the consent of the native population. There is no such precedent.
The native populations, civilised or uncivilised, have always stubbornly resisted the colonists, irrespective of whether they were civilised or savage.
And it made no difference whatever whether the colonists behaved decently or not. The companions of Cortez and Pizzaro or (as some people will remind us) our own ancestors under Joshua Ben Nun, behaved like brigands; [hmm. an interesting confession, Vlad. -ed] but the Pilgrim Fathers, the first real pioneers of North America, were people of the highest morality, who did not want to do harm to anyone, least of all to the Red Indians, and they honestly believed that there was room enough in the prairies both for the Paleface and the Redskin. [another interesting concession: Jews bad, Christian Pilgrims good. zounds. -ed ] Yet the native population fought with the same ferocity against the good colonists as against the bad.

Every native population, civilised or not, regards its lands as its national home, of which it is the sole master, and it wants to retain that mastery always; it will refuse to admit not only new masters but, even new partners or collaborators.

    . . .

Every native population in the world resists colonists as long as it has the slightest hope of being able to rid itself of the danger of being colonised.

That is what the Arabs in Palestine are doing, and what they will persist in doing as long as there remains a solitary spark of hope that they will be able to prevent the transformation of “Palestine” into the “Land of Israel.”

    . . .

Colonisation can have only one aim, and Palestine Arabs cannot accept this aim. It lies in the very nature of things, and in this particular regard nature cannot be changed.
    The Iron Wall
We cannot offer any adequate compensation to the Palestinian Arabs in return for Palestine. And therefore, there is no likelihood of any voluntary agreement being reached. So that all those who regard such an agreement as a condition sine qua non for Zionism may as well say “non” and withdraw from Zionism.

Zionist colonisation must either stop, or else proceed regardless of the native population. Which means that it can proceed and develop only under the protection of a power that is independent of the native population – behind an iron wall, which the native population cannot breach.
That is our Arab policy; not what we should be, but what it actually is, whether we admit it or not. What need, otherwise, of the Balfour Declaration? Or of the Mandate? Their value to us is that outside Power has undertaken to create in the country such conditions of administration and security that if the native population should desire to hinder our work, they will find it impossible.
And we are all of us ,without any exception, demanding day after day that this outside Power, should carry out this task vigorously and with determination.
In this matter there is no difference between our “militarists” and our “vegetarians”. Except that the first prefer that the iron wall should consist of Jewish soldiers, and the others are content that they should be British.
We all demand that there should be an iron wall.

If I quote more it will be hidden behind a MORE wall; but do click on the link, http://en.jabotinsky.org/media/9747/the-iron-wall.pdf
not least to read the passage where Jabotinsky discusses the “Morality of Iron Wall Doctrine” in context of morality of zionism. His argument is circular: “Zionism is moral because it exists; the continued existence of zionism require Iron Wall, therefore, Iron Wall is moral.”

    Take that, Nancy Peloschumer.

    The international Jewry Globalists.

Israel built the the Wall not only to annex land but also to annex many of the Palestine wells in order to divert water to Israel and illegal West Bank settlements.
In addition to taking the water wells Israel deliverately destroyed water wells in the remaing section of the Palestine West Bank by pumping the confiscated wells deeper and effectively drying up older Palestinian wells.

In the end Israel got 85% of Palestine groundwater resources.

Its all part of the slo mo genocide of Palestines by the Israeli jews.

Treasonous rat WASPs such as those in the Bush Organized Crime Syndicate and unassimilated, duplicitous rat JEWs such as Shelly Adelson and Mark Zuckerberg all push mass legal immigration and amnesty for illegal alien invaders.

Trumpy is best pals with Shelly Adelson. Trumpy is now pushing AMNESTY for illegal alien invaders.

Jared Kushner, the money-grubbing Jew who puts the interests of Israel ahead of the interests of the United States, also pushes mass legal immigration and illegal immigration. Kushner wants to give AMNESTY to upwards of 30 million illegal alien invaders.

The United States should cut Israel loose immediately and begin deportation proceedings against all WASPs and JEWs that put the interests of Israel ahead of the interests of the United States.

If a shyster politician, of whatever ancestry, says there is no daylight between the interests of Israel and the interests of the United States, then begin immediate deportation proceedings against that politician.

London, United Kingdom – A prominent Palestinian activist has won a legal case after an influential database used by banks to assess the risk of individuals and organisations linked him to terrorism.
In a settlement announced on Monday at the high court in London, Majed al-Zeer was removed from World-Check’s “terrorism” category and paid $13,000 in damages plus legal fees.

The sovereignty of the US in my view is a two tiered matter.

    1. the federal government has the national responsibility —

    2. States have their responsibility as to their borders as with other areas — ensure they do not violate — the and i hate to say it because I have no doubt — some will have apoplectic fits on the matter of the supremacy clause — which secures the federal jurisdiction on the issue of immigration — states are not permitted to bypass the matter as to their whim.

Any state engaging the use of their territory to harbors illegal immigrants — felons to a one, should be treated as abetting criminal behavior.

Before the state’s leadership is arrested and the state subject martial law, they have 30 days to comply with the rules regarding immigration. They have one week before all federal aid is suspended or terminated.

Gov. Brown should have been arrested along with those who aided in the matter.

Which makes it different from the Muslims, the Japanese, Koreans, Germans under Hitler [and gawd knows who else I’m forgetting], exactly how?

I’m glad that you asked. After all, the White man’s burden is to forever try to educate minorities in spite of their complete lack of ability to do that for themselves let alone successfully think for themselves.

So, today, again I will resume that task at your request. Consider it an ultimately worthless sacrifice of my time for the benefit of people who don’t deserve any of it and will ultimately cease to exist on this planet at some point in the not too distant future: per the Torah. Don’t be sad or too put off, as it also calls for our complete genocide.

First, your sorry attempt at a successful rhetorical question contradicts your own apparent sympathies.

If you are justifying modern Jewish supremacism on hypothetical parallels to other philosophically and militantly hypothetically equal supremacist states, then you are reverse justifying the actions of those states. In doing so, you remove all moral barriers to an outright fully militant no-holds barred race-nation war.

If that is not what you mean to do and instead wish to discredit racial-national militantism, then your question is nul.

Given either possibility, it follows that you are wasting my and everyone’s time with your attempted monkeyshines.

Now for the relevant historical and theological perspectives:

The Germans under Hitler were a reactionary and necessary military response to the aforementioned Jewish theologically-founded effort to enslave goyim under communism in Russia.

As penned by the Jews, communism is expressly internationalist and openly seeks to destroy all nations and turn them to communism. Such a plan is directly parallel with their Torah in regard to its stated aims for all other nations. The Germans and other defensive nationalists knew all of this.

The Germans recognized the Marxist cultural process occurring throughout the West. They had been experiencing it in their own nation since the end of WWI, in addition to militantly communist cells popping up throughout Germany that were always Jew heavy.

Simply put, Nazi Germany would not have existed without the aforementioned Jewish supremacism that sought their cultural and racial dissolution (while preserving their own) in the same manner that a militant Palestine would not exist without their oppression that looks like an ultimate will to genocide (and as stated in the Torah).

This supremacism is not limited to communism, as that is just one sub-vehicle for it. The primary vehicle is the Torah.

Because the racial and cultural identity (and thus existence) of the Germans were being undermined in Germany, a militant reaffirmation of that identity is what resulted.

It was a mirror of the hostility against them, as all defensive philosophy generally mirrors the offensive attack in an attempt to strengthen the weak spots that the oppressors are attacking. If you attack my culture, the militant response will look like a reaffirmation of my culture. Repeat for race, religion, economics, beauty, gender, and anything else.

To excuse Jewish theological supremacism, which is demonstrably much worse than the worst expression of German racial supremacism should you read their books, based on the German reaction to their militant genocidal theology is an exercise in sophistry.

Extant Jewish supremacism has existed since at least the time that their Torah was written (but likely before), which predates Germany’s reaction by over two thousand years. To imply that Nazi Germany or any of the other states that you mentioned are the root justification for Jewish supremacism is moronic.

As farm as “Muslims” (top job at mixing categories genius) are concerned, what you are citing is a very theologically close militant movement to Judaism that is derived from Judaism, which has been called “Judaism’s broom” by Rabbis. In fact, Islam is very likely nothing more than a Jewish golem created to destroy Europe. As its first major attack on Europe was only eighty years after the death of Muhammad, when it successfully conquered Spain beginning in 711 AD. See the Jewish collaboration with the Umayyad conquest of Spain.

The Umayyad Caliphate’s general imperial success, but especially in its success in conquering Visigoth Spain, occurred in suspiciously record time after the inception of any religion. About one decade prior, punitive and defensive action was taken against the Jews after the Visigoth King Egica recognized Jewish attempts to overthrow the Kingdom.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seventeenth_Council_of_Toledo

The king opened the synod by claiming that he had heard news of Jews overthrowing their Christian rulers overseas and that Iberian Jews were conspiring with these cousins to end the Christian religion once and for all.

The language enshrined in the synod:

    (8) As the Jews have added to their other crimes this that they endeavoured to overthrow the country and the people, they must be severely punished

It looks like the synod recognized the existential danger that these actions put the King and his family in, in his effort to save his Kingdom from the Jews:

The council tried to protect the life of Egica’s queen and children after his death, knowing the harm which could befall the royal family during a succession, and the bishops ordered prayers said for their souls.

What the King had likely discovered was the Jewish effort to open the doors for the eventual invasion of the Caliphate. Which they did about one decade later.

The Jewish actions in that period have an obvious parallels with Jewish support for Islamic immigration to Europe today.

We could also get into their complicity in the sack of Constantinople, but you carelessly spewed enough random nonsense to specifically address today.

    Nations:

What normal nations look like is a group of people within a set of borders who roughly share the same culture (within a specific range, but none of it genocidal nor supremacist toward the other) and fall within a defined (limited) range of genetic diversity (no matter how relatively wide that diversity is, it always has a reasonable limit in order to assure social and political cohesion).

What the Jewish vision looks like, as stated in their Torah, is the ultimate dispossession of all nations of their land throughout the world, and the ultimate genocide of all non-Jews except for a few that they are likely to keep around as slaves.

With the exception of Jewish Islam, there is nothing in any of the stated philosophies nor demonstrated actions of any of the states that you mentioned that comes close to this. In fact, your loose list of wars involving those nations, with zero political or ethnic context, identifies that list as a laughable rhetorical effort to justify modern Jewish Supremacism. None of the conflicts involving those states have to do with the purely offensive and destabilizing effort of Jewish Supremacism, and in fact many of those conflicts and defensive efforts are a pure result of the Jewish supremacist effort.

Don’t waste out time trying to engage in politics and history, let alone theology, that you clearly have no context for. I’m more than prepared to expand this conversation into almost any period in the history of our contact with Jews, going as far back as the Roman-Jewish wars (wherein the Jews genocided one half million European citizens in the most brutal fashion, as their texts allow for).

So, have at it. Or just be a lurker here, as you are only intellectually and educationally suited to be.

The fields were set on fire by “masked settlers”, Al-Resalah newspaper reports, who snuck on to the land and poured petrol on it before setting it alight. Around 100 olive trees were destroyed in the blaze, which spread as locals were prevented from attending the fire by Israeli forces.
Olive trees in Israel hold vast religious and cultural significance to both Jews and Palestinians. As well as being the livelihood of many Palestinian farmers, the trees are thought to be the “oldest on Earth” and are mentioned in the Old Testament numerous times.

1] The “build the wall” idjuts who will get really pissed off once they eventually come to realize that the wall was another government scam that doesn’t actually do any of the things they automatically assumed it would do. [Assumed, because of their built-in political naivete – also known as “stupidity”],

    and……

2] The “wall haters” who won’t notice that it didn’t actually do anything except make a bunch of contractors and politicians richer, and who, regardless, will rant and rave and wail against the wall being there, supposedly “on principle”.

It’s going to be quite a show! I look forward to it 🙂

And if it doesn’t get built, not to worry- there will still be endless entertainment from the current, same 2 endlessly warring factions of morons fighting it out.

So for me, its a “win win ” situation either way. [Pass the popcorn].

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez achieved rock star status with a speech in which she said, inter alia,

Everybody and their momma bashing this girl, well shes got bigger balls than any of the Israel first, war mongering Wall St whores of the Republican party, or the Democratic party for that matter. Shes spoke out far more against Israel and the robber barons of Wall st. than any establishment whores have in quite a while. Why are the right wing snowflakes so scared of this girl? Before anybody screams “open borders”!!! You mean the same open borders we’ve had for decades? Under Democrats and republicans? Not a legit argument.

Whether on not they whip her back into line, I guess we’ll see. Seems like the establishment fears her for some reason, so I’ll give her a chance.
A few of her statements on Israel:
“This is a massacre. I hope my peers have the moral courage to call it such. No state or entity is absolved of mass shootings of protesters”
“There is no justification. Palestinian people deserve basic human dignity, as anyone else. Democrats can’t be silent about this anymore”
“What people are starting to see, at least in the occupation of Palestine, is just an increasing crisis of humanitarian condition and that to me is just where I tend to come from on this issue”

Again, find me one your AIPAC shekel worshiping Republican or Democrat whores that has the balls to say half of what she said. Trump? Pence? Bolton!!! Ha!

I can think of only two others currently in office who have spoke up about the genocide of Palestinians, Bernie Sanders and Tulsi Gabbard, no Republicans at all.

As for the Wall, I would say its mostly a Netanyahu, Adelson, other Zionists idea, being push by their sock puppet Trump. So poor little Bibi doesn’t feel so lonely in his little apartheid hellhole. I don’t support illegals coming in or mass immigration, but I think people should make the point that CIA/Wall St capitalist parasites stop invading plundering these people countries down there instead of just screaming about “invaders” and a wall. Anyone that denies that US/Israeli supported dictators and death squads cause a LOT of the refugees and migration is a fool. Its a fact.

There was an attempted coup in Venezuela just yesterday, Pence Trump Bolton Pompeo all the Wall St puppets are totally behind it. Pence and Little Marco are on twitter today pushing it, while they’re still whining about Russia meddling, the hypocrites are doing much worse themselves. I’m sure this is another big part of why they want a wall, now that they’ve got puppet Bolsonaro in Brazil and a puppet Columbia, they’re probably planning all out war on Venezuela, they’ve got lots of black gold that the parasites are drooling over stealing.

Watch John Pilgers films if you doubt what the CIA has been doing there for decades. They’re free to watch on his website, Youtube and Vimeo as well.

Good article Mr. Giraldi as always, Trump assuming he wants or has the choice, should refuse to give Israel any more money, soldiers, or weapons till he gets what he wants. Thats about the only way to get anything in DC, attach it to a pro-Israel bill and its guaranteed to pass. I doubt he will though, he’s a shekel whore as much as any of them.

Thanks for the link. However I read what Rothbard says but I saw no refutation of the official German policy of “lebensraum”.

My current [admittedly limited] understanding is that this policy predates Hitler , and even pre-dates the 1st World War . Hitler merely expanded that policy [A mostly Eastward expansion of the German state.]

    For example:
“The German concept of Lebensraum (German pronunciation: [ˈleːbənsˌʁaʊm] (“living space”) comprises policies and practices of settler colonialism which proliferated in Germany from the 1890s to the 1940s. First popularized around 1901,[2] Lebensraum became a geopolitical goal of Imperial Germany in World War I (1914–1918) originally, as the core element of the Septemberprogramm of territorial expansion.[3]

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lebensraum

Yes,I know, its “only” Wikipedia. 🙂

But ironically, Von Mises himself [ who actually lived through WW2] , appears to have confirmed what the Wikipedia article says about lebensraum.

There used to be a place referred to as Los Quatros on La Cienega Blvd in Los Angeles, perhaps it’s still there (#4444). It was a run-down apartment building filled with illegal Mexican day labourers, about 6 and often far more to a room. Ever so often La Migra would show up at dawn and herd the lot of them onto several buses to be deported to Tijuana and the place would be totally empty. Within a couple of days the place would start to fill up again and in a week it would be just as before, filled with 90% of the very same people. I had a maid who lived nearby and I often gave her a ride home so I saw this for myself, several times.

  130. Letter of the day: Governments must let families of victims know who they believe carried out Lockerbie atrocity

”I promised Megrahi’s family I would do all I could to free them from the burden of the epithet of “the Lockerbie bomber’s family“. I also met Scottish Justice Secretary Kenny MacAskill just before Megrahi’s release, when I was able to beg him to let a man I knew to be innocent be free to go home to die among his family. He has since admitted he is not happy with aspects of the evidence used against Baset.

Unfortunately, the Scottish High Court has ruled that we relatives of some of the victims have no locus to request further review of the evidence through a fresh appeal. It is to be fervently hoped that 2019 will see Megrahi’s family granted a further full appeal.

It is not that there is nicely balanced evidence for and against the verdict: there is now an overwhelming preponderance of material which confirms that Megrahi was not involved, but that failures in the way warnings were handled by the Thatcher government of the day – and at Heathrow, in particular – allowed the bomb to be ingested there.

Like Baset, Air Malta and Frankfurt airport need to be excluded from blame. Let’s admit we got it disastrously wrong and plan for a safer future.

Who Can Control Israel’s Arms Dealers?

    [excerpts]

U.S.-made weapons incorporating restricted technologies were appearing in a number of countries not authorized to receive them, many of which were located in Central and South Asia as well as in Latin America. The weapons have also wound up in the hands of criminal cartels and narcotics traffickers, mingling arms sales with large-scale fraud, extortion, and drugs.

Israeli arms dealers, security services, and consultants span the globe. They dominate the airport security industry and have also been linked to training, equipping, and intelligence-gathering for corrupt and dictatorial regimes in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.

Security companies sometimes work as stringers for Israeli intelligence and may have ties to criminal groups including burgeoning Russian-Israeli organized crime in the United States.

I was thinking about this blast from the past:

February 1, 1972: Evangelist Billy Graham Complains of ‘Jewish Stranglehold’ on US to Nixon

”Richard Nixon, his religious adviser Billy Graham, and Nixon’s top aide H. R. Haldeman discuss their perceptions of Jewish influence in America. “They’re the ones putting out the pornographic stuff,” Graham, an influential preacher and televangelist, says. “This [Jewish] stranglehold has got to be broken or the country’s going down the drain.” Nixon, apparently delighted, asks, “You believe that?” Graham replies, “Yes, sir.” Nixon replies: “Oh, boy. So do I. I can’t ever say that but I believe it.” Graham says: “No, but if you got elected a second time, then we might be able to do something.… I go and I keep friends with Mr. Rosenthal at the New York Times and people of that sort, you know,” referring to Times editor A. M. Rosenthal. “And all—I mean, not all the Jews, but a lot of the Jews are great friends of mine, they swarm around me and are friendly to me because they know that I’m friendly with Israel.
But they don’t know how I really feel about what they are doing to this country. And I have no power, no way to handle them, but I would stand up if under proper circumstances.” Nixon says, “You must not let them know.”
[BBC, 3/2/2002; New York Times, 3/17/2002; Unger, 2007, pp. 103] In 1994, after the publication of Haldeman’s diaries first reveals the contents of the anti-Semitic conversation between Nixon and Graham, Graham will say: “Those are not my words. I have never talked publicly or privately about the Jewish people, including conversations with President Nixon, except in the most positive terms.” [New York Times, 3/17/2002] In 2002, Graham will apologize for his remarks after the tapes of the conversations become public, though Graham will say he has no memory of ever saying such things. [BBC, 3/2/2002]

I think the time has come or is at least on the way ‘to let the Jews know how we feel’…..I am encouraged by the new mouthy females elected to congress…..if they can risk their political career we should at least back them up by getting louder.

The Gaza “Demonstrations” started as peaceful activities. But Hamas quickly took them over and did several things that changed it into war:
    1. Announced that the Gazans would break through the fence and wall and “Pray in Jerusalem”. Taking over Israel’s capital city.
    2. Cutting the fence with large tools.
    3. Burning lots of tires to make a (toxic) smokescreen.
    4. Sending incendiaries over the fence to start fires in Israeli farms and even residences.
    5. Occasionally shooting Israeli soldiers.
    6. Shooting rockets at Israeli cities.
    7. Digging invasion tunnels under the fence/wall/border.
    8. Bringing large numbers of civilians to the area just behind the military actions at the fence, so they can get hit by stray rounds.

All of these are acts of war. The guys cutting the fence are combat engineers out of uniform. This is nothing like voting, protesting, demonstrating, or being peaceful. Low-grade combat is not peace.

Israel is shooting the fence crossers because it needs to defend its territory and prevent Israeli casualties. If the Gazans were just marching back and forth parallel to the fence, Israel would not be shooting.

The wall in Israel was built in response to the intifada war. When there is a real peace treaty between Israel and the Arabs the wall can be taken down, or moved, or raised, or lowered, or whatever is agreed to.

The population of the Palestinian Arabs is increasing and they live almost entirely under the administration of Palestinian leaders. If the wall was intended to damage the Palestinians, it’s doing a poor job of it.

  140. @FLgeezer

I agree that such citizenship conundrum does not entitle him to vote in favor of Israeli interests ovfer the US.

  141. @Hagia Sofia

Interesting that Lockerbie continues to haunt.

  142. @Ricky S

You are still walking all round the issues. The fact that Palestinian population is increasing is almost totally irrelevant to the question whether Israeli policies, specifically the locating of the wall are harming Palestinisns, at least those cut off by the wall. And who suggested it was intended to harm Palestinians rather than benefit Israel and settlers? Harm to Palestinians would have simply been a bit of collateral damage.

  143. @Ricky S

Ilan Pappe says in his A Modern History of Palestine that when there was a proposal for common administration of Palestine by Jews and Palestinians the Zionists rejected the proposal. They only accepeted a proposal when they knew that the Palestinians would reject it, but they acted in bad faith because they always intended to get the whole land and to take it from the Palestinians – the only owners of the land. This was clear to the Palestinians very early and this was the reason for the conflicts. Ben Gurion and others said that they wanted the whole land without the Palestinians. You can read it in several books like for instance Righteous Victims by Benny Morris. It was the Zionists who decided that their project of conquest could only be accomphished by violence and war. Tell me, how many people are sitting in your room with you writing such posts?

The wall is in Palestinian territory. The occupation is occupation of Palestinian territory after I. conquered all the rest and I. has not the slightst intention of giving anything back.

You are lying. They are shooting and killing mostry protestors who pose absolutely no danger. This is the view of the editorial of The Guardian based on a good knowledge of what is happening. Even if a few decided to go over the fence, this is not a reason to kill them, otherwise you would have to accept that the Palestinians should do the same with Israeli illegally in the West Bank. What Palestinians are doing is self-defense. I don’t know why they shouldn’t have the right of self-defense. It’s not they who are occupaying Israeli lands. It’s I. that put the Pal. under siege. Several I. politicians have made threats against Palestinians.

  147. @Ricky S

The Intifada was an answer of the Palenstinianss to a long history of violence and agression against them. The wall was built as an instrument to keep oppressing the Palestinians. It’s I. that rejected all peace initiatives and lied about that. This is absolutey clear.

The Rothbard article was intended to provide an introduction to the context; not to provide “refutation of the official German policy of ‘lebensraum.’”
The specific Rothbard quote that I provided, in fact, would tend to suggest that most of what people think they know about Hitler and the Japanese was a tissue of lies. Let me repeat that. Standard WW2 history is a tissue of lies, and I’m wondering why someone who can see through the fraud of government as you seem to do, would nevertheless, not only believe old WW2 Allied propaganda, but promote the falsehoods.

Your insistence (specious “argument” really), that the article provided no ” refutation of the official German policy of ‘lebensraum’”sheds doubt on your objectivity. IOW, like the sandal girl who claims some level of sympathy for the Palestinian cause, yet slips in approbation for the Zionist project, your support of old propaganda does little for your credibility.

You also said, “Which makes it different from the Muslims, the Japanese, Koreans, Germans under Hitler [and gawd knows who else I’m forgetting], exactly how?” is a pretty clear indicator that you’ve swallowed the corporate media lies about all those groups. Now, explain to me why anyone who quotes Mencken and Nock, et al, would yap so gullibly against the current enemies du jour, and don’t even try to make the case that you oppose them because you oppose all governments.

You wrote, “and gawd knows who else I’m forgetting…” You “forgot” Israel under any of its leaders, for one. As anon asked, how can you disavow Israel’s crimes? As any “Menckenite” should, you would have disavowed them instead of apologizing for Israel.

  157. I believe Israel has a right to exist.

That does not mean I am also a Zionist.

Zionism is the belief that God restore’s Israel to the inch of land she lost out of disobedience. That is a tricky issue for believers.

Some think that the established Church is that restoration in spades spiritually.

Some think her 1948 acknowledgement is sufficient enough and no more territory be added.

Some think Israel as a question of value is moot because of Christ.

But whatever the conditions said restoration by God would bring Jews back to the one who established her —– and in my view spiritual belief is not currently the thrust of the Israeli leadership or her people.

And none of the above is a call by Christ for anyone in his church to be subservient the political demands of Israel or in any manner submissive to Israel, particularly to behaviors that violate Christian ethos faith and practice.

Why would you or anyone else presume to think I “disavow” Israels crimes? Based on what, exactly?

As I state at the top of my website:

“Because they are all ultimately funded via both direct and indirect theft [taxes], and counterfeiting [central bank monopolies], all governments are essentially, at their very cores, 100% corrupt criminal scams which cannot be “reformed”,”improved”, nor “limited” in scope, simply because of their innate criminal nature.”

Like I said, Rothbard does not specifically deny an official German policy of expansion [lebensraum] in the link you gave, and since the link was from the Mses.org site I simply pointed out the ironic fact that Mises himself, having lived through WW2, never, in his book “Omnipotent Government” , nor in “Human Action” states that that policy never actually existed. That would be, I would think, a major, deliberate omission on his part.

What he does say is that Hitlers Nazis just took the Western nations own territorial expansionist policies [which had already existed in Germany before Hitler was even around] plus the Wests new-fangled “third way” post Marxian economic “theories”, “to the max”, but without their “approval”

There was one man who completely delegitimized the state of Israel and who, under political pressure from Polish Government conducting political purge of Jews, Polish workers party members, was fired from his job as the director of the hospital and pushed to leave country for Israel and to denounce Polish Citizenship.

He, a Jew, in 1969 refused to immigrate to Israel because as he described it, Israel was apartheid country run by Jewish Nazi collaborators and American Zionists.

This man was Marek Edelman, one of the leaders of Warsaw Ghetto uprising in April 1943.

No need for further delegitimization of state of Israel.

    Simple answer:

There is in scripture . . . a promise of restoration. That restoration is not to the will of Jews, but of God. (I fully grasp that you think faith nonsense, but plays a role in the dynamic)
    ________________________

As a believer, I recognize that spiritual dynamic.

But when the UN and the international community accepted Israel as a state, as a nation, my belief about scripture, God, Christ, recognizes that Israel has a secular existence. And while I may press for her acceptance of Christ, and what not. She as a state among the community of states can tell me to go fly a kite. How she governs internally is her business. I can advocate for this or that — but i recognize her right to self governance.

The debate among some people of faith is whether that promised restoration is the Church, wholly spiritual manifested in people or the spiritual and secular as Israel once was as a nation being a light for and about God, that others may follow.

  206. Coincidentally, Yousef Munayyer has an article in The Forward, and states the same thing as I have upthread:

‘Does Israel Have A Right To Exist’ Is A Trick Question.
    https://forward.com/opinion/417930/does-israel-have-a-right-to-exist-is-a-trick-question/

    Munnayyer states that:

…when I watched a recent interview of Tamika Mallory. In it, Mallory was asked by The Firing Line’s Margaret Hoover a question that is constantly posed to critics of Israel’s policies: “Does Israel have a right to exist?

This is, as Mona Lisa Vito would put it, a bullshit question.

He goes on to assert, as I did:

The truth is that no state has a “right to exist” — not Israel, not Palestine, not the United States. Neither do Zimbabwe, Chile, North Korea, Saudi Arabia or Luxembourg have a “right to exist.”

States do exist; there are about 200 in our world today, even though there are thousands of ethno-religious or ethno-linguistic groups.

And these states don’t exist because they have a “right” to. They exist because certain groups of people amassed enough political and material power to make territorial claims and establish governments, sometimes with the consent of those already living there and, oftentimes, at their expense.
    :
    :
It is intellectually dishonest and intended, almost always, to silence critics and criticism of Israeli policies.

He hits the nail on the head with this one.
I recommend you go to the link above and watch the video of that disgusting interview,

Our elected representatives, who operate in a political environment where Israel’s political lobby holds well-documented power, have consistently minimized and deflected criticism of the State of Israel, even as it has grown more emboldened in its occupation of Palestinian territory and adopted some practices reminiscent of apartheid in South Africa and Jim Crow segregation in the United States.
Many civil rights activists and organizations have remained silent as well, not because they lack concern or sympathy for the Palestinian people, but because they fear loss of funding from foundations, and false charges of anti-Semitism.
Similarly, many students are fearful of expressing support for Palestinian rights because of the McCarthyite tactics of secret organizations like Canary Mission, which blacklists those who publicly dare to support boycotts against Israel, jeopardizing their employment prospects and future careers.

Here is the transcript of that segment:

Jews belong in one country only in essence and that, of course, is the Land of Israel. This has always been the position of the Torah.

This position finds its formulation, explicit formulation, in Halakha, in Jewish law. If a Torah-observant Jew who regularly prays and recites the (Hebrew spoken) prays after meals and states again and again many times a day, in fact, that his land, the land of his fathers, and the land to which he claims that he wishes to return, is the Land of Israel… for such a person to feel truly American, or British, or whatever other nationality you choose to mention… that is simply an indication that this person‘s identity and self image is confused and, in fact, pathetic.

Such a person is living with some kind of internal struggle and lack of clarity regarding who they are and where they belong. And this is a lamentable state of affairs. Were I to be asked if the same is true, in my view, for Americans of Italian or Irish extraction, for example, in other words, should they also feel that their countries, the countries to which they truly belong and yearn for, Ireland or Italy, in this case, should they also feel they should return to those countries, my answer would be a definite “no.”

And the reason is very simple because the Jewish people are unlike any other people. Our culture, our civilization, our religion, our history are of a unique nature. has No other nation has been able to preserve a unique civilization and culture, which is entirely wrapped up with and entwined with a religion, and a history, and a language in the same way the Jewish people have done over thousands of years. In all other cases in human experience, when populations migrate, within a generation or two, they assimilate and they adopt new identities and, therefore, develop new senses of belonging and connection, depending on their particular circumstances.

Whereas the Jews, who have a unique and very separate mission on this earth, who have a unique connection to Hashem the creator, by way of the Torah and the land to which they were directed by that Torah, by Hashem… and their civilization and culture, history, religion are all intimately connected to that particular land, to the Land of Israel. The Jewish people have a special status when it comes to these issues and this has also something to do… and it I must be stated openly… this has something to do with the phenomenon of anti-semitism.

Many non-Jews feel, instinctively, often without really bothering to explain to themselves or to others why it is that they feel that way… many non-Jews instinctively see Jews as foreigners, and they’re not wrong. Jews, in fact, in whatever country they may exist outside their own homeland are, in fact, foreigners…whether certain people wish to hear this or not… but that is the truth.

This, of course, should not be misconstrued as an excuse for, or granting license for, anti-semitism. I’m not advocating anti-semitism and it is always the case that the countries and the gentle populations of those countries have always benefited from the presence of considerable Jewish populations within their midst. They never caused them harm, but rather only the opposite. But “yes” they are separate and they are different and that is a simple elementary truth that someone like president Trump, who doesn’t frequently think a lot before he speaks, is willing and able to state.

If this basic truth causes some Jews to feel uncomfortable, then they should look in the mirror and ask themselves “why”? Because the truth is not up for discussion. The truth of the Torah is plain. Jews belong in their homeland and that is their destiny and that is the will of Hashem and it is by so doing that they will bring wholeness, completeness to their own lives, to their families lives, and to the entire world.

OK, thanks. Now I get it.

That’s some pretty fascinating “reasoning” there.

I’d still like to know why G-d supposedly wrote 10 laws written in stone, and then rewards those who disobey those laws while snubbbing him and those who don’t even believe in his existence.

That strikes me as some fairly strange G-d, even given the fact that we humans probably cannot understand his ways.

Any G-d that allows and rewards destruction of his other people is to me, indistinguishable from satan.

There is penalty for disobedience, but I am loathe to lay what pains Israel experiences are a penalty.

It appears to me that Israel can in no way be viewed as the victim. IOW, they inflict pain, they suffer minimally as far as I can see.

He doesn’t reneg on promises, even if people do.

Does he, or does he not, promise to bring death and destruction on those who turn their backs on him? I’m getting very confused, so help me out here.

Well it’s an “odd perspective” to introduce strawman arguments as well. Please don’t put words into my mouth.

Thanks for engaging me here on mostly civil terms, but which Old Testament (Tanakh) have you been reading?

That the individuals mentioned did it with seemingly greater cunning and sophistication than most others here does not change who they are, why they do what they do and what it is that they serve, so they can fuck off with my blessing.

I completely agree with all. As for blessings, I do not wish any upon them, but I do value their presence here to a degree because it could be turned to good use. They invariably expose themselves for what they are, and I think that can be extremely valuable. I try to facilitate that, but being a dumb goy, I have my limitations. My blessings go to those here who see, understand and refute their hideous, beastly behavior.

Their Gawd, if any, may forgive them, but I certainly don’t and have no intention of ever beginning to think of doing so.

God’s promise is not predicated on their obedience.

I think you meant to claim that God’s promise of restoration is not predicated on their obedience.

If that’s true, then I ask you , why he made the promise of restoration unconditional when it seems to me, a total ignoramus when it comes to G-ds and promises and such, that there were plenty of other promises that were in whole or part, very conditional?

    Explain this, for instance,

    Deuteronomy 28:

9 The Lord will establish you as his holy people, as he promised you on oath, if you keep the commands of the Lord your God and walk in obedience to him.

15 However, if you do not obey the Lord your God and do not carefully follow all his commands and decrees I am giving you today, all these curses will come on you and overtake you:

All that sounds as if at least some of his promises were conditional, so, are you contradicting G-d, or is G-d being inconsistent, or are you simply making stuff up, or what? Explain.

PS: Please note that even Jews are known to be embarrassed by the Tochachah, the latter part of Ki Tavo. How do you feel about it?

Good catch, JS. I noticed that whopper too, as I was transcribing it. It’a as if the good rabbi had completely forgotten the theme of his previous video, the one in which he had admitted that secular Jews were responsible for the destruction of western nations by pumping their toxic ideology of cultural Marxism into them.

That said, perhaps the good rabbi is thinking that westerners somehow benefited from “real” Jews… the Torah-observing ones.

It also appears to me that only perverted minds like theirs could have conceived such a wretched G-d such as theirs.

I see only one solution for myself ( I have no answers for the rest) and that’s to forget any walls. I need distance such as another planet or galaxy. Even then, the mere memory that such loathsome pathetic morons ever existed would plague me past my demise. Why would a just G-d even create such purulent ulcers and allow them to breed?

Even worse are the tusch licking goyim who support them in any way. Heaven, or sumpin, help us!

  257. @jacques sheete

    Laugh.

It would be in error to see God’s grace as reward. And you are correct, to the secular mind it makes no sense. Any more than Christ being a conduit of forgiveness for murders, and adulterer’s or any number of violations of the 10 you reference. Chastisement will come in God’s good time and in his way.

I am as biter as they come for some events by people, willfully engaged. And in my view they were rewarded as result. You press the age old conundrum for humanity — “why does God allow the “wicked to prosper?” Israel may swagger at her willfulness in violating the rules of the game. As members of our Congress swagger at facilitating the same —

Ecclesiastes, Job ( a book that is not really about Job as much as it his chastising, judgmental neighbors), Lamentations . . .

Of this I am sure, humans get in the way of God’s will all the time, and I have no doubt that the US is engaged in the very same careless interference, even if in the name of good and god. But in my life, I have watched people engage in some very nefarious behavior and rush home to churches and call upon and consider it God’s will. No small amount of it done in God’s names and opposed to justice – God’s stated purpose for law and order – it’s been about power as opposed to morality. I have no idea why these people of faith prospered all the while engaged in slapping the God they claim to worship in the face. I fully understand your dilemma. And it’s one that plagues. Consider this, as one examines the US, it may very well be that we are in the slow purpose of choking on our hypocrisy. And that for me is the lesson, in my life to grapple with removing my own errs, hypocrisies — even as I wrestle with advocating right elsewhere.

I don’t think our erosion of sound polity, even if imperfect is by coincidence. how we in this country are literally give our nation away — erosion can do that. As a nation to turn even nature on its head, to call the lie truth and truth a lie —

the righteuos, and those who seek justice do not always prevail in this life is no answer.
that God will prevail is a bitter pill for those who suffer wrong, is no answer
However, for believers that is a very hard and painful medicinal in this life, the walk is that the believer avoid facilitating injustice, immorality and wrong doing in self or others
    — and in time woe to those who do.

——– Justice on the wrong — is in his time and his way

——– Laughing. I have to view the OT “crime and punishment” via the eyes of that time. And while it looks bloody and messy only, there are plenty of instances of Grace — and it would be mistake to ignore the OT clear examples of bloodiness, mayhem visited on Israel. But since the advent of the promised Christ, it clear how God will address Jews and non-Jews alike is clearly quite different than what seems to occur after Christ. Right now the ball as it were is in the hands of people of faith, not the Jews. And while I get why so many Christians seem to subjugate their christian ethos to Israeli objectives — facilitating that which God himself condemns is strange. Israel is important, and the christian view and relationship is important, but nothing in scripture demands that I bless everything Israel does. Her establishment is God’s domain and the churches is give the gospel. I am confident christians can do that without supporting breaking the ten commandments — the law remains even if the covenant is new.

I am making a deliberate choice not toss out a package of scripture, despite my own inadequacies in explicating christian relationship to Israel – even when Israel is wrong. A parent will maintain love for a child, even when that child is being ridiculous.

    —————————

Smile. Folly to the world and wisdom to the faithful — hence the references to “foolishness” a fool for Christ”. At the end of the day — it’s fear (respect/embrace) and keep his commandments (embrace Christ as he is the commandments alive in those who accept him — despite a myriad of failings).

Your skepticism makes perfect sense to me.

    There but by God’s grace.

  258. @jacques sheete

That is correct and Israel ultimately paid the price. I can only believe that some trials are coming Israel’s way to bring her about. God is not mocked.

One reason that god has not utterly upended the US is because of believers, in my view and in that same view it is the “faithful of Israel” that sustains here. Those are the Jews that I think most christians are considering when looking to Israel. The Torah matters. Those whose primary reference is the founding guide of faith and covenant

What he does say is that Hitlers Nazis just took the Western nations own territorial expansionist policies [which had already existed in Germany before Hitler was even around] plus the Wests new-fangled “third way” post Marxian economic “theories”, “to the max”, but without their “approval”

While I’m much more familiar with Mises’ “disciple,” Rothbard, than the master himself, I would say that if your claim is accurate, then Mises was correct about the former, but off base on the latter. Since options are limited for us humans, the Nazis would almost certainly have had to use Marxist tactics at least for a time, to combat the Bolshevist offshoots of Marxism and that does not mean that the Nazis were Marxist or that Marx was always incorrect. He was pretty good, but far from original, in his diagnosis of society’s ills, but his nostrums were quackery.

Your repeated damning of the Nazis seems to indicate a lack of understanding of what they were up against, and what they were up against was a worldwide conspiracy (no typo, that) against them of monstrous proportions. It is important to understand that since we in the US were faced with very similar threats and still are. It’s high time we quit damning the Nazis and start understanding them, their times and their enemies who, by the way, are stronger than ever.

A member of the Canadian branch of The Lobby, Shimon Koffler Fogel is CEO of the Centre for Israel and Jewish Affairs (CIJA), has just penned this doozy of an article, A global rise in anti-Semitism could turn back the clock – even in Canada.

Here are the most pertinent excerpts, with my bolded commentary contained within the square brackets:

And yet, I cannot ignore that my own children, two generations removed from the ashes of Auschwitz, are witnessing a global rise in anti-Semitism in their lifetime. While enjoying relative security in Canada, the Jewish community here has watched events in Europe with growing alarm… [After sharing an anti-Semitic incident he experienced in his youth, the apparatchik sounds the alarm based on the events taking place in Europe, i.e., the growth of National Populism.]

There rests the paradox of modern anti-Semitism: The best of times is no guarantee against the return of the worst of times. What may be history’s deadliest intellectual virus has, time and again, adapted itself to the values and social conditions of the era. Many forms of hate are rooted in a dehumanizing “otherness” that fades as a minority group overcomes linguistic, cultural and socio-economic barriers. Not so with anti-Semitism, which is sustained by conspiracy theories alleging that all Jewish behaviour — including social integration and civic engagement — stems from a nefarious agenda. The experience of pre-war German Jewry, one of the most successful and integrated in European history, remains seared in the memory of thriving Diaspora communities throughout the West… [in this trite explanation of the real source of anti-semitism, the apparatchik speaks to Jewish behaviour but fails to mention his own behaviour, being a member of a Lobby that pushes the interests of his own minority in-group at the expense of the majority out-group.]

Relevant government agencies, from the RCMP to the CRTC to Canadian Heritage, should adopt the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) definition of anti-Semitism as a clear guide for addressing incidents targeting Jewish Canadians in their respective domains. The government of Canada should expand its current funding for community security, with an added focus on lockdown and emergency training for synagogues and Jewish day schools, as well as for facilities in other targeted communities. And it is time for a national strategy to combat anti-Semitism and other forms of hate online, which is ground zero for radicalization and propaganda — with dangerous offline consequences. [rather than doing the logical thing to truly combat incipient anti-semitism by shutting it down, the apparatchik doubles down and goes for broke by demanding measures that will make things infinitely worse… not a very clever apparatchik, it seems.]

    https://nationalpost.com/opinion/a-global-rise-in-anti-semitism-could-turn-back-the-clock-even-in-canada

If he’s truly interested in combating anti-semtism, my advice to this apparatchik is to save the hasbara and, instead, work to convince his fellow apparatchiks to SHUT IT DOWN!

I support your right to exist and have opinions, and express them, that does not mean I support the content. I support Israel’s right to exist (and trust me, have never received any reward in that – quite the opposite. I do not support Israel breaking international law, guilt mongering on issues wholly unconnected to her violations or her role in instigating problems in the region as I have made clear repeatedly.

My expressed view on Palestine completely contradicts your comments. I will stand on that record regarding the territorial sovereignty of Palestine.

  268. @jacques sheete

My laughter is to the dilemma, not the embrace of the wrong. Clever has nothing to do with it. You asked tough questions, I have responded as sincerely as possible and done so in a manner to avoid merely throwing scripture at you.

I think your preconceptions are clouding the actual tenor of my comments.

  269. @jacques sheete

Your yourself acknowledge the context in which were talking — the restoration of Israel. It was you that jumped to the OT references prior to Israel’s destruction — which many have argued is the direct result of the disobedience you reference — and I noted that Israel was punished.

I then made the reference back to the current mode of the restoration (about which there is some dispute) – that restoration after Christ. I also acknowledged in response to your reference to the Jew who adhere’s to the Torah and how I think that plays out (there’s plenty of discussion on that as well – as I have openly acknowledged). I also acknowledge that will eventually deal with wrong, israel’s or anyone else’s, that goes unrepentant. But I cannot tell you how, or when or why it takes so long — those are very legitimate issues — and i have no answers, beyond what I provided at the moment. Should I get a prophecy on the matter, I will let you know – well, maybe.

Point in fact, until this point our conversation has not been circular at all. As I noted previously in this thread, being an apartheid state has not proven to be a barrier to existence as a nation state and many apartheid states exist or have existed. Sovereignty matters, even if I disagree with said internal polity. The question here is Israel’s violations in Palestine. I think those instances are valid points of objection — that is an international issue.

I am going to again state, it appears people are rewarded for doing wrong, that is not merely a dilemma regarding Israel — but a perplexing matter for people of faith (especially) and for people in general the world over. Right here in the US.

You mistake my laughter for joy — more the irony, and the perplexing nature of the very real dilemmas.

If your contention is that no state that violates international law or rules should be dismantled — well, I can only say, good fortune with that. That will not resolve the age old frustration of people engaging in doing wrong and seemingly getting rewarded —

  270. @jacques sheete

I do think that the international community has failed to protect that sovereignty and the failure of statehood enables legal manipulations.

Long considered a cult-like leader to thousands of his followers, Berland fled Israel in 2013 amid allegations that he had sexually assaulted several female followers. After evading arrest for three years and slipping through various countries, Berland, 81, was sentenced to 18 months in prison in November 2016 on two counts of indecent acts and one case of assault, as part of a plea deal that included seven months of time served. “Had he moved to Israel on permanent basis, after three years he would automatically be granted Israeli citizenship. At that moment he becomes a dual citizen.”

Not true. Schumer and any other jew who has visited Israel is automatically conferred Israeli citizenship immediately upon entry or application at any Israeli embassy or consulate.

Israeli citizenship has certain benefits. Any jew criminal who makes it to Israel will not be extradited to any other country as Israel will not extradite jews. This protects their considerable worldwide meth, opiate, and white slavery rackets, not to mention the various financial rackets (binary) schemes that jews are so good at.

Most countries outlaw dual citizenship, but the USA does not, at least not for jews. In fact, Americans can serve in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) without penalty or loss of USA citizenship.

Even jew bastard Sheldon Adelson remarked that he wished that he had served in the Israeli military rather than in the US armed forces. Rahm Emanuel’s children expect to or are serving in the IDF just as he did.

If I had my way, ALL dual citizenship would be outlawed. Those who hold dual citizenship would be prohibited from working or holding any government position in the USA along with mandatory, permanent deportation to their foreign country. Military service in any foreign military would result in immediate, permanent revocation of USA citizenship

One should also recall Trump’s very words on Venezuela:

Donald Trump repeatedly raised the possibility of invading Venezuela in talks with his top aides at the White House, according to a new report.

Trump brought up the subject of an invasion in public in August last year, saying: “We have many options for Venezuela, including a possible military option, if necessary. [SOUND FAMILIAR to what is coming out of the WH now]” But the president’s musings about the possibility of a US invasion were more extensive and persistent than that public declaration, according to the Associated Press.

The previous day Trump reportedly took his top officials by surprise in an Oval Office meeting, asking why the US could not intervene to remove the government of Nicolás Maduro on the grounds that Venezuela’s political and economic unraveling represented a threat to the region.
    […]
The administration officials are said to have taken turns in trying to talk him out of the idea, pointing out that any such military action would alienate Latin American allies who had supported the US policy of punitive sanctions on the Maduro regime.

Their arguments do not seem to have dissuaded the president.
    […]
In the weeks that followed, Trump remained preoccupied with the idea of an invasion, according to AP. Shortly after the Bedminister remarks, he raised the issue with the Colombian president, Juan Manuel Santos, and then brought it up again at that year’s UN general assembly in September, at a private dinner with allied Latin American states.

At that dinner, Trump made clear he was ignoring the advice of his aides.

My staff told me not to say this,” Trump said and then asked the other leaders at the table in turn, if they were sure they didn’t want a military solution.

McMaster finally succeeding in persuading Trump of the dangers of an invasion, the report said, and the president’s interest in the notion subsided.

This move has been on the cards for a while, with John Bolton – Trump’s National Security Advisor – tweeting this just last week:
    […]
What the US/NATO/whoever need is a pretext to invade – enter The Guardian et al.

This is very clearly a call for open revolution – note the language: “including the military”.

Obviously any coup needs the military backing it to be successful. Though there are reports of large protests on the streets of Caracas – both for and against the President – the military have not got involved on the ground so far.
    […]
In their story covering the on-going crisis (Venezuela: what happens now after two men have claimed to be president?) The Guardian quotes Eric Farnsworth, a former US diplomat and vice-president of the Council of the Americas, who says:

“[Maduro might] turn sharpshooters on crowds and try to scare everybody back home

Guardian reporter Tom Philips then says this:

If that happened, the US and the international community would be forced to react.

Which is their way of saying if anyone gets shot, or even injured, in these protests then the US (and allies?) will move to intervene militarily. They would be “forced” to, apparently.
    […]
This is, of course, the exact scenario we saw play out in Ukraine in 2014. “Sharpshooters” were “turned loose” on the crowd, killing several dozen people (police and protestors alike). This violence was used to declare Victor Yanukovych’s government “illegitimate”, and replace him with a leader more to the US’s liking. Evidence has since emerged showing the shots were likely fired by non-government marksmen in a bid to escalate the violence.

    Greetings, tac!

As the astute Bernie Sanders is in his mid-70s, maturely educated & set in his defiant “crony capitalist”political principles, I can see how, as reflected in your comment # 335, that “New member of congress schools Bernie Sanders on how to oppose US imperialism…,”

No doubt, given the enormity of US federal deficit & overwhelming military expense involved in maintaining hostile imperialistic military-action, one can expect a new Congress to sprout and display a flower that “opposes” some US imperialism.

For me, the huge problem shall remain, and such is the masterfully engineered-psychosis that the US’s passion to go to war for the sake of Israeli territorial & financial interests will not be tagged as “imperialism.”

In addition, am confident that the The DNC Kings & Queens are presently cultivating new versions of US Congressional darlings who will promote a united Legislative & Executive Branch that will excoriate “Imperialism” but of course will not pertain to doing such awful stuff on behalf of Israel.

At any rate, tac, am assuming you’re domiciled in France. Fyi, during the 2016 Democrat presidential campaign, I followed Bernie Sander’s political fortune and unique DNC system misfortune; the latter hard knock “schooling” executed under the direct influence of Chairman Debbie Wasserman Schultz. Despite “The Bern’s” political awareness that his own Democrat Party royally screwed his presidential nomination chances, Sanders ate kosher crow, and went on to campaign & passionately endorse the cackling & Middle East warmongering HRC for president. (Note: At Scranton High School’s auditorium venue, Autumn 2016, I was present for a really great & principled speech delivered by “The Bern” but one that unabashedly supported (ugh) Hillary for president)

  331. @Cloak And Dagger

Well, there is morality and there is the process by which states are generally recognized. And in this case, modern Israel, that process was adjudicated via the UN. It may not have been adjudicated well – and I agree. It may not have been managed well, and there I would agree.

But there is very little dispute that some said territory was set aside for the state of Israel. They can build walls as they like on their territory.

If existence was premised on moral efficacy, I am not sure who could stand.

Thusly, Jacques Sheete educated jack daniels who the latter might be a little sauced: “And what do you think this site* is for?”

Acknowledging unfamiliarity with the world’s online voices (& comment- responses) of opposition to international Jewry, I consider The Unz Review as the
tallest standing edifice in opposition to what jack daniel’s described as “the problem posed by the Lobby…,”

Following, one caveat here though, Jacques, one of which you need not any “schooling.”

The Unz Review comment-platform is very open and accessible for those Intelligence specialists who benefit by the (compen$ated) monitoring of a valuable variety of dissident Zio-thought processes.

We, as U.R. commenters, are presently relishing opportunities to unite & write in dissent, but we are simultaneously falling into the tribe’s hand which inevitably wants to victimize individuals because of their passionate expressed words.

Once one recognizes the above anomaly, one gets to know the political milieu martyrs have faced. That’s a reason why I don’t much complain when I sense brave & smart guys, like PCR and Philip Giraldi, had at times not completely conveyed what they really must know.

All the best, Jacques, and occasionally for the “meek,” it’s bottoms-up!

This bible thumper has a problem—he has never heard of the Geneva Conventions or the Rome Statues.
Both of which are literally like the Ten Commandments of Jesus applied universally to the nations of the world.

Israel has violated all 4 of the Geneva Conventions…….https://www.icrc.org/en/doc/war-and-law/treaties-customary-law/geneva-conventions/overview-geneva-conventions.htm

Israel has violated all of the Articles 5,6, 7 and 8 of the RomeStatutes….https://www.icc-cpi.int/resourcelibrary/official-journal/rome-statute.aspx

Neither the Us or Israel are signatories to the Rome Statues and therefore they have tried to claim they cant be prosecuted by the International Criminal Court.
But Palestine is a signatory to both.

And the statutes say a member state can bring criminal charges at the ICC against any state, even if it is not a member, if that state has or is committing crimes on their land.

This is why Israel has been freaking out since Palestine signed on to both and then was recognized by the UN. Bolton is also freaking out and went to the ICC recently to try and threaten them …..BECAUSE…..It Is Also A Crime For Any State To Aid or Abet Another State In the Commission of These Crimes.
If the US loses its clout a lot of Israelis and American zios and neos will end up in the dock.

Would be great for America if they did.

You skip the point. it is not that morality doesn’t matter with respect to affairs of state.

It is not that morality doesn’t matter. It is that no specific morality is not required (apparently) to be a state. And that morality has no specific mandated to be levied against states that would justifiy dismantling said state. And your generic application disqualifies nearly all states as few are as pure as you would like to apply to Israel.

As I said, few if any could stand.

I am unclear what immorality I have noted. Do try avoiding the standard circle that defending Israel’s existence as I defend that of other states is immoral.

Would that i were god and make everyone abide by the rules, thereby removing freedom of choice and sovereignty altogether.

Trump invokes Israeli apartheid wall to justify Mexico border barrier

US President Donald Trump has invoked an Israeli-made separation wall in the occupied Palestinian territories to defend his proposed security barrier on the US-Mexico border.

“Israel built a wall, 99.9 percent successful. Won’t be any different for us,” Trump said Friday, referring to the so-called Israeli “apartheid wall” that separates Jerusalem al-Quds from the West Bank.

    https://www.presstv.com/Detail/2019/01/26/586820/US-Trump-shutdown-Mexico-border-Israel-Egypt

Every time Trump invokes Israeli apartheid walls – it is a negative – Israel is a negative in the minds of most people – he only reminds people of his sellout to the powerful Jews. (Poor man he is to full of himself to see it.)

    Think Peace — Art

  339. Art said: “– he (Trump) only reminds people of his sellout to the powerful Jews.”

    So go Trump, go!

P.S. to renfro: One of Trump’s spiritual advisers prior to Pastor Paula was Jerry Falwell. Indeed, Trump really knows how to pick-em, and how to “Fall well” in the direction of Israel!

  340. While I certainly won’t defend Israel extending its wall into Palestinian territory.

President Trump was already predisposed to lean to the demands of Israel. That has nothing to do with Pastor Fallwell. Just because they meet on some nexus does not make them bosom buddies. . The wall is neither evil. it is a tool of management. It replaces the

    existing wall

Oh, how about that we have a wall already. Ok it’s not really a wall, but more fence. Speaking of respect — and morality, millions of foreigners apparently climb over, through, and under it to violate the territorial space of the US. I am a tad concerned that in keeping with your moral imperitive you have not advocated that everyone should tear down the walls of their own homes, and open their sovereignty up for everyone to share in their goods and services. After, you are of course setting the example by tearing down your own fences, unhinging your doors, in fact, I would love to see you living spaces with no walls.

And I applaud your moral consistency. Provide your home address that I may come and marvel applaud you in person. I don’t drink alcohol, but I appreciate you giving me free access to you kitchen for a glass of water.

Why can’t Trump exercise the second option in this article, accepting a deal with Dems allocating a paltry amount of wall money and no DACA amnesty, declaring a national emergency and adding the $20 million in go-fund-me money that a triple-amputee veteran raised for the wall, plus the $7 million from the military budget.

  351. @Endgame Napoleon

No, as much as you would like to think that Israelis compensated the Palestinians , that remains one of the very tracking and legitimate complaints. Israel has not fully and accurately compensated the Palestinians are they aren’t doing so now as they build moderate cities in the region. What yopu claim is actually a significant problem.

The president doesn’t have to declare an emergency and he doesn’t need “go fund me”. His real issue is that he simply doesn’t have the wherewithall to stand against the perceived mountain in front of him. This is the problem with people who have never really stood alone on principle with nothing to gain.

    We’ll see in three weeks . . .

But unfortunately, Israel has not lived up to her namesake as posited by the one who established — doesn’t even seem to be trying save what she can get materially. And despite the unreasoned complaints about dismantling Israel, the assail that christians have aided Israel in behaving badly is accurate. And building the wall is fine, but incorporating territory not reserved for by way of international law is a legitimate complaint, if accurate. And on how God’s promise occurs and the consequence is where I part company with others christians, including pastor Falwell, who no doubt is eager to embrace illegal immigration in the God as they proceed to roll over their fellow citizens in the same name.

I would that I were wrong.

Obviously, he had not gone to visit Tbilisi Cathedral…He was not taking any photo at all and did not seem interested in anything… except me… ( as if he was my bodyguard, which he was not….), hence I noticed him….I guess he felt noticed, but, you know, seemed to give him a damn….Then, once in my van, with all my group, he passed fast by the side staring down, like memorizing the plaque, but without a hint of dissimule, with the same chutzpah the UK has stolen Venezuela´s gold…It was a bald guy…in his late thirties or early fourties….Once I noticed him, I stared him like this.. …No idea if the guy got scared… but I do not recall seeing him again…but, well, may be he was watching anyway….I was on vacation….I use to relax at that time, do not like to be troubled…

P.S: I think you should go learning martial arts, Chuck, so as to give them la del pulpo in case they dare to appear again or aproach you with bad intentions…Also, me think, you should fry your mayor with letters in order to get him repairing all those holes in the roads…I would not like you suffering any mishap…Take care…and be well too.
