After being sworn in for a fourth term, Vladimir Putin departed the Kremlin for Annunciation Cathedral to receive the televised blessing of Patriarch Kirill of the Russian Orthodox Church.

The patriarch and his priests in sacred vestments surrounded Putin, who, standing alone, made the sign of the cross.

Meanwhile, sacred vestments from the Sistine Chapel were being transported by the Vatican to New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art to adorn half-clad models in a sexy show billed as “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination.” One model sported a papal tiara.

The show proved a sensation in secular media.

In Minsk, Belarus, on May 17, to celebrate International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia, Britain’s embassy raised the rainbow flag. Belarus’s Ministry of Internal Affairs was not amused:

“Same-sex relationships are a fake. And the essence of fake is always the same — the devaluation of truth. The LGBT community and all this struggle for ‘their rights,’ and the day of the community itself, are just a fake!”

Belarus is declaring moral truth — to Great Britain.

What is going on? A scholarly study sums it up: “The statistical trends in religion show two separate Europes: the West is undergoing a process of secularization while the post-socialist East, de-secularization.”

One Europe is turning back to God; the other is turning its back on God.

And when Vladimir Putin and Belarus’ Alexander Lukashenko are standing up for traditional values against Western cultural elites, the East-West struggle has lost its moral clarity.

And, so, what do we Americans stand for now? What is our cause in the world today?

In World War II, Americans had no doubt they were in the right against Nazism and a militaristic Japan that had attacked us at Pearl Harbor.

In the Cold War, we believed America was on God’s side against the evil ideology of Marxism-Leninism, which declared the Communist state supreme and that there was no such thing as God-given rights.

With the moral clarity of the Cold War gone, how do we rally Americans to fight on the other side of the world in places most of them can’t find on a map?

A weekend article in The Washington Post discusses the strategic difficulty of our even prevailing, should we become involved in wars with both Iran and North Korea.

“You would expect the U.S. and its allies to prevail but at a human and material cost that would be almost incalculable, particularly in the case of the Korean example,” said Rand researcher David Ochmanek,

Added John Hopkins professor Mara Karlin, “If you want to ensure the Pentagon can actually plan and prepare and resource for a potential conflict with China or Russia, then getting into conflict with Iran or North Korea is the exact wrong thing to do.”

One wonders: How many of these potential wars — with North Korea, Iran, Russia, China — could we fight without having America bled and bankrupted. What conceivable benefit could we derive from these wars, especially with a China or Russia, to justify the cost?

Looking back, only one great power survived the last century as a world power. The German, Russian, Austro-Hungarian and Ottoman empires did not survive World War I. World War II brought to an end the British, French, Italian and Japanese empires.

The Soviet Union and the United States were the only great surviving powers of World War II, and the USSR itself collapsed between 1989 and 1991.

Then, in 1991, we Americans started down the well-traveled road of empire, smashing Iraq to rescue Kuwait. Heady with that martial triumph, we plunged into Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria and Yemen.

Though still embroiled, we are now talking war with North Korea or Iran, or even Russia or China, the former over its annexation of Crimea, the latter over its annexation of the South China Sea.

Donald Trump is president today because he told the people he would “Make America Great Again” and put “America First.”

Which bring us back to the question: What is America’s cause today?

Defeating Nazism and fascism was a cause. Defending the West against Communism was a cause. But what cause now unites Americans?

It is certainly not Christianizing the world as it was in centuries long ago, or imposing Western rule on mankind as it was in the age of empires from the 17th to the 20th century.

Democracy crusading is out of style as the free elections we have demanded have produced Hamas, Hezbollah, the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, Muqtada al-Sadr in Iraq, and nationalists, populists and autocrats from Asia to the Middle East to Europe.

Perhaps our mission is to defend and protect what is vital to us, to stay out of foreign wars where our critical interests are not imperiled, and to reunite our divided and disputatious republic — if we are not too far beyond that.

Patrick J. Buchanan is the author of a new book, “Nixon’s White House Wars: The Battles That Made and Broke a President and Divided America Forever.”

The basic question I would add is what are America’s current values? One does have to look far to determine that the basic values long associated with America no longer exist today.

It certainly is not the rule of law, it certainly is not a concern for humanity, it certainly is not equal rights under the law, it certainly is not freedom of speech, etc, etc.

I’m asking what are the values that govt is prepared to abide by and support, not the blather that the politicians stand up on Memorial Day and Independence Day and bloviate on and on about.

I'm not sure. I think they tend to be fluid, so that nobody can say for sure. Plus there is always the question of the meaning of words, such as "is".
The Supreme Court rules, and having ruled, goes back to sleep, leaving the latest interpretation of the constitution to the various judges and lawyers who argue about such things.

the West is undergoing a process of secularization while the post-socialist East, de-secularization

Not quite. Homomania is a neo-religion. It went from ‘gay rights’, meaning homos should be free to pursue their own lifestyles, to Gay Rites, a worship of homos and trannies as saints and angels.
It is a neo-religion because the ‘rainbow’ flag is a quasi-sacred symbol to the Progs. Indeed, they wave it even in support of causes or at events that are unrelated to homosexuality. It’s like a talisman.
So, it was waved at BLM marches. And even Trump once held up a homo flag. And Conservatives argue against Muslim immigration on grounds of saving Holy Homos from ‘terrorists’. Even many conservatives now consider Homos to be especial special, the Other Jews.

Homomania is a neo-religion. ‘Rainbow’ flag is a sacred symbol for the Progs. That is why they wave it everywhere. That is why they hang it inside and outside churches, especially Mainline ones that have lost their souls and minds. If homomania were secular, why would it try to take over churches? It wants to be the new religion.

People want to associate themselves with holy symbols. When the Crucifix became the holy symbol of the West, every side held it up as if God was on its side. So, every kingdom marches into battle with Christian symbolism. Catholics fought Protestants, with both side holding up crucifixes and flags with Christian symbols.

But Jews took over the West. Jews hate Christianity and needed a neo-spiritual symbol, and they concocted the Holy Three: Holocaust Faith, Magic Negro, and Holy Homo. Holocaust Faith is powerful, but it’s a bummer, mostly about gloom and guilt. Not very fun. Magic Negro myth has spread world wide, especially with MLK as god, Mandela as jesus, and rappers as prophets. But not every nation has Negroes, and as such, it isn’t universally meaningful.

But Homomania, that is of universal export because EVERY society has homos. That means Jews can recruit and fund homos in all nations to be their collaborationist-agents. And why wouldn’t homos take the bait? It’s a way to get easy money(from people like Soros and many NGO’s, not to mention the US government itself) and to be favored as the new elites of their nation. Jews promise homos in places like Ukraine, “Do our bidding, and we will make you masters of your nation, to be worshiped and obeyed.” Homos are vain enough to go for the bait.

Homomania is also appealing because it’s celebratory and fantastical. All those spectacles, fanfare, pageantry, and circus atmosphere. All those ‘gay pride’ parades. In our age of celebrity and hedonism, Homomania is the favorite neo-pagan cult for many people.

It is also appealing to the snobby elites because they can claim to be more ‘woke’ and more ‘evolved’ on the subject than the ‘homophobic’ hoi polloi. The fact that the ‘unwashed masses’ are more likely to be hostile or indifferent to homos is proof enough for the elites that Loving and Celebrating Homosexuality is a favorite of the better-educated and those with higher status. After all, the elites are always looking for subtle ways to distinguish themselves from the Masses. Since old-style aristocracy is out, the elites and would-be-elites seek out certain attitudes and ’causes’ that make them feel ‘more evolved’ than the masses.

It’s no wonder that Tranny Train has become the next big thing. After all, Homomania has now spread even to many parts of the hoi polloi. So, it isn’t as special as it used to be. When even many Mormons and Evangelicals are warming up to ‘gay marriage’, it ain’t special like it used to be. But those dummies are still against Tranny-business, and that means one is still ‘more evolved’ if he or she’s for trannies using whatever washroom and demanding they be called certain pronouns.

All in all, the fact is Homomania was concocted by Jews. So, if you see a ‘rainbow’ flag go up anywhere, it is just another imperial takeover of Jewish Globalist supremacist power. When UK embassy raises the ‘homo’ flag, it means ‘We Brits are now part of the Empire of Judea’.

It is very useful to Jews. If Jews raised Star of David everywhere, the world would realize that the Empire of Judea is the biggest power in the world. People would become aware of Jewish domination, and Jewish power would draw the ‘wrong’ kind of attention.

So, Jews use homomania as the front for their power. The Star of David hides behind the ‘rainbow’ flag.

I concur, the Star of David is indeed Luciferian.

Revelation 22:16: I Jesus...the root and the offspring of ✡David,✡ the bright and morning Star [Lucifer].

Of course, Lucifer is the word used by the Latin Vulgate to translate this:

Isaiah 14.12: "How you have fallen from heaven, morning star [Lucifer], son of the dawn!"

Not surprisingly, the Jewish Rabbi who started the Jew First (Romans 1:16) cult had a "Beloved boy lover snuggled in his bosom, on open display. (John 13:23-25)

The priestcraft who abuse altar boys are merely following the Jewish Rabbi's example. And the leader of the cult of sacred pederasty, Francis, wears a Popehat with the Luciferian Star of David emblazoned on it.

With Jews, you lose. Why worship a Jewish Super-Star, especially when he openly admitted to being Luciferian, i.e., a light bringer?

John 8:12: "I am the light [Lucifer] of the world."

Homosexuals, partly genetic?, globally distributed. And a small group(percentage? as to heterosexuals), For both reasons have an enormous potential for recruitment. There is no identity argument as to a single ethnic group. They always were a great asset to power elites, they keep being so in a globalist concept.

Take Jews, present globally, a small minority(less then two percent of the world population), take homosexuals(a fraction of this), very similar and ready distribution, a tool for the trade, whether overt or covert as in earlier history. Homosexuals were recently in a first pulled out into the open, because they are prime consumers, having no children, living for the day. Now in the open, on this was further built.

  3. This is a wobbly, unfocused article by Pat.

America’s (foreign) missions have been shadowy, ad hoc and willy-nilly for generations. And Pat know this. He said as much in his monumental book, ‘The Unnecessary War’. As for America’s national ’cause’, it should be the freedom, continuity and prosperity of the American people. Far-flung, trillion-dollar military interventions will be our undoing.

Indeed, the mighty and far-removed US did not have to fight Germany in either World War. Until Pearl Harbor, millions of Americans defiantly sought neutrality and non-intervention. But agents of influence had other plans..

Had the US stayed neutral and not intervened, diplomatic opportunities could have been seized. Contrary to popular belief, neither Japan nor Germany nor Italy wanted war with America. WWII was a colossal calamity of missed opportunities and world class manipulation.

In a similar vein, the US did not have to ‘liberate’ Kuwait, depose Khadaffy, bomb Syria, or topple Saddam Hussein. These were lethal missions of choice. And their sad legacies have not improved over time.

Why aren’t the architects of these mass slaughters in prison?

Ironically, the same pro-war influence-peddles are still lobbying Congress, appearing on TV, and steering US policies in the direction of more conflict!

This recurring phenomena is symptomatic of entrenched political corruption. Even our news institutions have been subverted. ‘Surveillance is safety’. ‘War is peace’.

So why is Pat waxing nostalgic for WWII? Washington’s sacred mission to annihilate Fascism and National Socialism helped give rise to Soviet totalitarianism and global Zionism.

Out of the frying pan, into the fire?

Today, there’s precious little common sense connected to America’s erratic and aggressive warmaking. US policies certainly do not revolve around the value of ‘peaceful coexistence’ or self-defense. In fact, the US routinely attacks first, and often without a Congressional declaration of war. Zio-Washington has become not only the world’s policeman, but its judge, jury and executioner. And the rules we impose are not steadfast or consistent.

Thus Washington uses the UN when it suits its agenda, and ignores it when it doesn’t. We decide.
Even multi-lateral US treaty agreements are tossed aside. The scuttled Iran deal is a prime example. But diplomacy of this kind resembles the mafia: “Do as we say. Or else”.

In a similar vein, some US allies get special consideration (‘special relationship’ ring a bell?) while others, not. It depends. Rules are subject to change. Money and ‘relationships’ are key, especially money. Ironclad laws or principles must wait. This is organized crime all over again.

Bear in mind that America’s ‘exceptional’ posture has given us more foreign wars over the past century than any nation in history. That’s quite a record.

Does ‘rogue state’ ring a bell?

Today, America’s central ’cause’ abroad revolves around the safety and ‘security’ of Israel. This shoe does fit.

And it is pro-Israel partisans who are calling the shots in Washington (as Pat surely knows) just as they continue to script the moral/historic/political narrative that appears on our televisions. This is power. Unrivaled power.

Has the golden age of Yiddish theater returned?

If polls mattered, America’s actual mission in the world would be to protect US borders, and increase prosperity at home (as well as preserve our existing cultural institutions). US resources would be used primarily for the benefit of the American people.

Ron Paul and others have been sounding the ‘peace and prosperity’ bell for decades.

But what typical Americans get instead are distant ‘preemptive’ wars, open borders, and economic globalism.

Zio-America has become a corrupt empire, unmoored to international law or even national interests (as measured by public sentiment.)

Today’s America is fighting to ”Make Israel Great Again’. This is the road to ruin.

Yes, but the US Government desperately wanted war against Japan, even to the extent of letting thousands of its citizens die in an attack it had foreknowledge of and which it could have prevented. President Bush may not have had foreknowledge of the September 11, 2001 attacks, but President Roosevelt certainly did regarding Pearl Harbor 1941.
Since the early C20th, American politicians of various types had aimed at bringing China under American control. The Japanese invasion of China was stymieing that aim, so the Japs had to be provoked into a war with the US.
Of course, China never came under American control. In fact, the reverse is now true. China holds $1.3 trillion in US Treasury Bonds. When they finally dump them- not long off- American hegemony will be over and the country deep in economic depression.
    Another of history's ironies.

Great essay, Mr. Green. As I did early this year on Peak Stupidity, I would like to feature this great comment on my blog. Let me know if that's OK. I wanted to write one quick post-Memorial Day post more about the soldiers in America's wars, and then I could put yours after that.

Let me know anytime on here or my blog. Thanks.

"Zio-America" is fighting to "Make Israel Great Again," mainly because the most popular book in America, the Jew Testament, advocates the following policies:

    1. Loyalty to Jerusalem, Israel. (John 1:49, Rev. 21:2)

    2. The Jew First. (Romans 1:16)

    3. Send tribute to Jerusalem. (Romans 15:27)

    4. Filthy Goy need to consult with a Rabbi on how to organize their business. (Matthew 20:25, Mark 10:42, Luke 22:25)

We're marching to Zion, beautiful, beautiful Zion!
    , @Corvinus
"Had the US stayed neutral and not intervened, diplomatic opportunities could have been seized."

Seized with whom? A good chunk of American trading partners in Europe had fallen to German forces.

"Contrary to popular belief, neither Japan nor Germany nor Italy wanted war with America."

Actually, America was upset with Japan's invasion of China. In response, the federal government imposed severe economic sanctions on Japan, which Japan found intolerable. Furthermore, Germany and Italy would have preferred to not to have war with the United States, but their threat to the British mainland necessitated American involvement.

"WWII was a colossal calamity of missed opportunities and world class manipulation."

One decidedly caused by German, Italian, and Japanese aggression. America had no choice but to correctly intervene.
    , @geokat62
Hi, Mark. I very much enjoyed reading your lengthy comment. As I've previously indicated, when it comes to your comments, the longer... the better.

    Stay well.
    , @Buck Turgidson
Great comments, well written, thoughtful, congrats. I am reading Pats book on the unnecessary war and Churchill and his comments in this column about WWII are not consistent w the book. I love Pat but this isn't his best column.

The US would have been better off hstorically--sparing many lives and saving trillions of $$--had we been less interventionist IMO, but this thinking isn't exactly the zeitgeist.

One dirty little secret is that FDR had US ships firing on US Submarines prior to Dec 6th 1942.

USS Kearny and the USS Greer had attacked German ships, On September 11, 1941 (9/11!), President Roosevelt issued an order to the U.S. Navy to shoot German or Italian warships in the west Atlantic on sight.
    , @anon
For at least ten full years prior to Pearl Harbor, the USA pursued an openly hostile policy against Japan, finally painting her into the corner with an oil embargo. With a different foreign policy war could have been easily avoided. Also had the USA not picked a fight with Spain in 1898 she would have had no territories in the Pacific (The Philippines, Guam, wake Island, etc.) for such a war to have been fought in.

Not surprisingly, the Jewish Rabbi who started the Jew First (Romans 1:16) cult had a “Beloved boy lover snuggled in his bosom, on open display. (John 13:23-25)

The priestcraft who abuse altar boys are merely following the Jewish Rabbi’s example. And the leader of the cult of sacred pederasty, Francis, wears a Popehat with the Luciferian Star of David emblazoned on it.

With Jews, you lose. Why worship a Jewish Super-Star, especially when he openly admitted to being Luciferian, i.e., a light bringer?

John 8:12: “I am the light [Lucifer] of the world.”

Another lesson "we" should learn is that power used irresponsibly is an abomination, and another is that centralized power is invariably abused.

The big lesson is that we'll learn very little but we must struggle against such forces continuously nevertheless.

What, if anything, designed such a system?

Power has always been cynical, but the US and the West in general once stood for sound values rooted in great traditions of Greco-Roman heritage, Christian faith, and the Enlightenment. And they balanced each other out. The creative and vital pagan tendencies toward excess & decadence were held in check by Christianity morality and spirituality. And the dogmatic and theocratic strain of religious influence was restrained by Science, Reason, and Rights.

And whatever may be said about the Cold War, the West stood for sounder principles and systems than Totalitarian Communism that was repressive and even murderous in places in USSR.

But the West that had been is no more. What is the West is about? Worship of Homo fecal penetration, Tranny penis-cutting, Slut Pride, Negro dongs, Rap thuggery, Celebrity & Vanity, Zionist megalomania, and nonsense terms like 'Diversity' and 'Inclusion'.
Because of its great power and influence, the US is the most evil nation on Earth.

    Exactly right.

Merkins don't have freedom, they have permission.

My grandfather fought in the Battle of the Bulge and liberated ingrate Jews who had timidly surrendered their weapons prior to WW2. Now, their brain- raped idiot children are at the forefront of disarmament through communist fronts such as BLM, Antifa, BAMN and March of Our Lives.

Can we add, corporatocracy, as in it's individual members are not physically limited to US territory, it's decision making is not exclusively in Washington, it's scope and goals are globalist, it's financing is apt to survive the dead of the dollar as a reserve currency, it's methods and concepts are historically "International Jew". Stealth in operating, public overt lying, mercenary, and solely concerned with the short term(a major weakness), and in-group interests(not including some variables as toxicity, resource exhaustion, unattended global population numbers, being another weakness that should backfire).

Global elites, that's what we suggested here and there, corporatocracy is fine with us.

This is a wobbly, unfocused article by Pat.

America's (foreign) missions have been shadowy, ad hoc and willy-nilly for generations. And Pat know this. He said as much in his monumental book, 'The Unnecessary War'. As for America's national 'cause', it should be the freedom, continuity and prosperity of the American people.

In a similar vein, the US did not have to 'liberate' Kuwait, depose Khadaffy, bomb Syria, or topple Saddam Hussein. These were lethal missions of choice. And their sad legacies have not improved over time.

Why aren't the architects of these mass slaughters in prison?

Ironically, the same pro-war influence-peddles are still lobbying Congress, appearing on TV, and steering US policies in the direction of more conflict!

This recurring phenomena is symptomatic of entrenched political corruption. Even our news institutions have been subverted. 'Surveillance is safety'. 'War is peace'.

So why is Pat waxing nostalgic for WWII? Washington's sacred mission to annihilate Fascism and National Socialism helped give rise to Soviet totalitarianism and global Zionism.

Out of the frying pan, into the fire?

Today, there's precious little common sense connected to America's erratic and aggressive warmaking. US policies certainly do not revolve around the value of 'peaceful coexistence' or self-defense. In fact, the US routinely attacks first, and often without a Congressional declaration of war. Zio-Washington has become not only the world's policeman, but its judge, jury and executioner. And the rules we impose are not steadfast or consistent.

Thus Washington uses the UN when it suits its agenda, and ignores it when it doesn't. We decide.
Even multi-lateral US treaty agreements are tossed aside. The scuttled Iran deal is a prime example. But diplomacy of this kind resembles the mafia: "Do as we say. Or else".

In a similar vein, some US allies get special consideration ('special relationship' ring a bell?) while others, not. It depends. Rules are subject to change. Money and 'relationships' are key, especially money. Ironclad laws or principles must wait. This is organized crime all over again.

Bear in mind that America's 'exceptional' posture has given us more foreign wars over the past century than any nation in history. That's quite a record.

Does 'rogue state' ring a bell?

Today, America's central 'cause' abroad revolves around the safety and 'security' of Israel. This shoe does fit.

And it is pro-Israel partisans who are calling the shots in Washington (as Pat surely knows) just as they continue to script the moral/historic/political narrative that appears on our televisions. This is power. Unrivaled power.

Has the golden age of Yiddish theater returned?

If polls mattered, America's actual mission in the world would be to protect US borders, and increase prosperity at home (as well as preserve our existing cultural institutions). US resources would be used primarily for the benefit of the American people.

Ron Paul and others have been sounding the 'peace and prosperity' bell for decades.

But what typical Americans get instead are distant 'preemptive' wars, open borders, and economic globalism.

Zio-America has become a corrupt empire, unmoored to international law or even national interests (as measured by public sentiment.)

Today's America is fighting to ''Make Israel Great Again'. This is the road to ruin.

Unfortunately religion and capitalism never were and never will be compatible. It was capitalism that destroyed Christianity in the West.

The East will have to make a choice. If they choose capitalism they will end up with the same degeneracy we have now in the West.

the West is undergoing a process of secularization while the post-socialist East, de-secularization

Not quite. Homomania is a neo-religion. It went from 'gay rights', meaning homos should be free to pursue their own lifestyles, to Gay Rites, a worship of homos and trannies as saints and angels.
It is a neo-religion because the 'rainbow' flag is a quasi-sacred symbol to the Progs. Indeed, they wave it even in support of causes or at events that are unrelated to homosexuality. It's like a talisman.
So, it was waved at BLM marches. And even Trump once held up a homo flag. And Conservatives argue against Muslim immigration on grounds of saving Holy Homos from 'terrorists'. Even many conservatives now consider Homos to be especial special, the Other Jews.

Homomania is a neo-religion. 'Rainbow' flag is a sacred symbol for the Progs.

Holocaust Faith is powerful, but it's a bummer, mostly about gloom and guilt. Not very fun. Magic Negro myth has spread world wide, especially with MLK as god, Mandela as jesus, and rappers as prophets. But not every nation has Negroes, and as such, it isn't universally meaningful.

But Homomania, that is of universal export because EVERY society has homos. That means Jews can recruit and fund homos in all nations to be their collaborationist-agents. And why wouldn't homos take the bait? It's a way to get easy money(from people like Soros and many NGO's, not to mention the US government itself) and to be favored as the new elites of their nation. Jews promise homos in places like Ukraine, "Do our bidding, and we will make you masters of your nation, to be worshiped and obeyed." Homos are vain enough to go for the bait.

Homomania is also appealing because it's celebratory and fantastical. All those spectacles, fanfare, pageantry, and circus atmosphere. All those 'gay pride' parades. In our age of celebrity and hedonism, Homomania is the favorite neo-pagan cult for many people.

It is also appealing to the snobby elites because they can claim to be more 'woke' and more 'evolved' on the subject than the 'homophobic' hoi polloi. The fact that the 'unwashed masses' are more likely to be hostile or indifferent to homos is proof enough for the elites that Loving and Celebrating Homosexuality is a favorite of the better-educated and those with higher status. After all, the elites are always looking for subtle ways to distinguish themselves from the Masses. Since old-style aristocracy is out, the elites and would-be-elites seek out certain attitudes and 'causes' that make them feel 'more evolved' than the masses.

It's no wonder that Tranny Train has become the next big thing. After all, Homomania has now spread even to many parts of the hoi polloi. So, it isn't as special as it used to be. When even many Mormons and Evangelicals are warming up to 'gay marriage', it ain't special like it used to be. But those dummies are still against Tranny-business, and that means one is still 'more evolved' if he or she's for trannies using whatever washroom and demanding they be called certain pronouns.

All in all, the fact is Homomania was concocted by Jews. So, if you see a 'rainbow' flag go up anywhere, it is just another imperial takeover of Jewish Globalist supremacist power. When UK embassy raises the 'homo' flag, it means 'We Brits are now part of the Empire of Judea'.

It is very useful to Jews. If Jews raised Star of David everywhere, the world would realize that the Empire of Judea is the biggest power in the world. People would become aware of Jewish domination, and Jewish power would draw the 'wrong' kind of attention.

So, Jews use homomania as the front for their power. The Star of David hides behind the 'rainbow' flag.

    I always enjoy your comments.

Contrary to popular belief, neither Japan nor Germany nor Italy wanted war with America.

“Zio-America” is fighting to “Make Israel Great Again,” mainly because the most popular book in America, the Jew Testament, advocates the following policies:

    1. Loyalty to Jerusalem, Israel. (John 1:49, Rev. 21:2)

    2. The Jew First. (Romans 1:16)

    3. Send tribute to Jerusalem. (Romans 15:27)

    4. Filthy Goy need to consult with a Rabbi on how to organize their business. (Matthew 20:25, Mark 10:42, Luke 22:25)

We’re marching to Zion, beautiful, beautiful Zion!

The second Iraq war is a disaster but most people forgot the first Iraq war is a smashing success. Financially it cost the US nothing. Saudi Arabia and other countries foot the bill. If the US float the idea of kicking India out of Sikkim I am sure all of East Asia, South East Asia and South Asia will support it and will chip in. It will cost the US nothing. So long as the US don't commit ground troops and rely on drones and air power, it will cost the US nothing in terms of human cost either. The prestige of the US will be greatly enhanced in all of Asia and the US will reassert itself in East and South East Asia effortlessly. The infestation of the H1B scam artists will solve itself because by then the relation between the US and the $hithole India will be one of hostility. Remember before Saddam invaded Kuwait the relation between Iraq and the US were very good until the two countries became enemy to each other virtually overnight. US has everything to gain and nothing to loose if it play its card right.

If you don't want the Indians to invade the US with their H1B, have the US kick India out of Sikkim.

Contrary to popular belief, neither Japan nor Germany nor Italy wanted war with America.

For at least ten full years prior to Pearl Harbor, the USA pursued an openly hostile policy against Japan, finally painting her into the corner with an oil embargo. With a different foreign policy war could have been easily avoided. Also had the USA not picked a fight with Spain in 1898 she would have had no territories in the Pacific (The Philippines, Guam, wake Island, etc.) for such a war to have been fought in.

the West is undergoing a process of secularization while the post-socialist East, de-secularization

    Rite

  31. England and America sacrificed hundreds of thousands of lives of young men in their attempt to restrain the economic exuberance of Japan and Germany. Thirty years after the end of the WW2 both those nations had rebuilt and began reassuming their rightful place at the top of the manufacturing heirarchy. The basic question I would add is what are America's current values? One does have to look far to determine that the basic values long associated with America no longer exist today.

It certainly is not the rule of law, it certainly is not a concern for humanity, it certainly is not equal rights under the law, it certainly is not freedom of speech, etc, etc.

I'm asking what are the values that govt is prepared to abide by and support, not the blather that the politicians stand up on Memorial Day and Independence Day and bloviate on and on about.

“… what are America’s current values?”

Apparently, to support the troops no matter where and for whatever purposes the idiots in DC send them.

Plinio wrote back to the emperor along these lines ….I fear for the future of Rome, the warlike barbarians hold deep respect for their deities, their tribes and their elders…they are still willing to die and to KILL in their names…they often feud over issues of gods, honor, family….while the roman feudal overlords engage in drunken sexual orgies..PD: Although I doubt Putins overblown imagetry…why is he abandoning the Syrians and pulling out of Syria right after He met with Natanyahu on Russians VDAY parade??? Pliny the Elder lived the first century AD, whereas Trajan became emperor only in the second century. Must have been some other guy.

Tacitus wrote about the superior virtues of the Germanic tribes in his "Germania," with a view to renewing those of his compatriots. One should note that Rome still lasted a couple of centuries after that; emperors like Aurelian in the 3rd century, and Valentinian in the 4th managed to rally and reinvigorate the empire's forces and keep things going for a good while longer.

If I'm not mistaken, unlike the West (i.e. the US, Canada, Western Europe and Australia), Japan hasn't fallen victim to the juggernaut of self-hatred, hence it hasn't opened its borders to third-world immigrants.

Actually, America was upset with Japan’s invasion of China. In response, the federal government imposed severe economic sanctions on Japan, which Japan found intolerable. I think It was the Roman Emperor Trajan that commissioned a Roman Patrician Plinio I the father to survey the roman colonies in the borders of the empire. Plinio wrote back to the emperor along these lines ….I fear for the future of Rome, the warlike barbarians hold deep respect for their deities, their tribes and their elders...they are still willing to die and to KILL in their names...they often feud over issues of gods, honor, family....while the roman feudal overlords engage in drunken sexual orgies..PD: Although I doubt Putins overblown imagetry...why is he abandoning the Syrians and pulling out of Syria right after He met with Natanyahu on Russians VDAY parade??? No American gives a flying F about Sikkim or India, except for the F ing Indians to stop invading us with H1b. No foreign intervention period.

America needs to abolish the meddlesome rogue CIA, bring back all our troops from overseas, deport all illegals, shut down all immigration for 20 years and mind our own damn business for a change.

So long as the US don’t commit ground troops and rely on drones and air power, it will cost the US nothing in terms of human cost either.

If you don’t want the Indians to invade the US with their H1B, have the US kick India out of Sikkim.

Truer words have not been spoken. I'm a big fan of Mr. Buchanan and am very glad his articles appear on my favorite website, Unz Review, so I can comment on it truthfully without fear of censorship, unlike on TAC.

the West is undergoing a process of secularization while the post-socialist East, de-secularization.

The East is heading towards religion and Capitalism(the old West), while the West is heading towards secularism and, eventually, Communism (the old East).

The East is heading towards religion and Capitalism(the old West)

Unfortunately religion and capitalism never were and never will be compatible. It was capitalism that destroyed Christianity in the West.

The East will have to make a choice. If they choose capitalism they will end up with the same degeneracy we have now in the West.

  47. In World War II, Americans had no doubt they were in the right against Nazism and a militaristic Japan that had attacked us at Pearl Harbor.

    Good grief, PB!

You, of all people should know what a load of manure that lack of doubt was and is. You, of all people should know that the Nazis were anti-Bolshie, and that the Bolshies in the East were supported by the ones in the West.

Good point and one that really hits ya when you realize how the US, via Matthew Perry, approached Japan nearly a century prior to that.

Contrary to popular belief, neither Japan nor Germany nor Italy wanted war with America.

    Good comments there, sir.

The lesson we should learn, and learn hard, is we became the world's super power by being the last to join two World Wars. If we keep this in mind we should prosper. The biggest problem with this idea is both of our political parties are dedicated to Globalism. What needs to happen is to remain a good republic in lieu of chasing imperial dreams. Maybe McCain's death and the death of the NEO CONs will open that door?

Another lesson “we” should learn is that power used irresponsibly is an abomination, and another is that centralized power is invariably abused.

The big lesson is that we’ll learn very little but we must struggle against such forces continuously nevertheless.

What, if anything, designed such a system?

This is a wobbly, unfocused article by Pat.

America's (foreign) missions have been shadowy, ad hoc and willy-nilly for generations. And Pat know this. He said as much in his monumental book, 'The Unnecessary War'. As for America's national 'cause', it should be the freedom, continuity and prosperity of the American people.

Pliny the Elder lived the first century AD, whereas Trajan became emperor only in the second century. Must have been some other guy.

Tacitus wrote about the superior virtues of the Germanic tribes in his “Germania,” with a view to renewing those of his compatriots. One should note that Rome still lasted a couple of centuries after that; emperors like Aurelian in the 3rd century, and Valentinian in the 4th managed to rally and reinvigorate the empire’s forces and keep things going for a good while longer.

I’m not sure. I think they tend to be fluid, so that nobody can say for sure. Plus there is always the question of the meaning of words, such as “is”.
The Supreme Court rules, and having ruled, goes back to sleep, leaving the latest interpretation of the constitution to the various judges and lawyers who argue about such things.
Disagreements abound creating money making opportunities in courthouses across the land.
    Always follow the money.

England and America sacrificed hundreds of thousands of lives of young men in their attempt to restrain the economic exuberance of Japan and Germany.

Like invading other nations and threatening the World Order?

Today everyone buys Japanese cars, bicycles, electronic equipment etc. America produces drywall, flake board, cinder blocks and grows some unpalatable, industrial-raw material vegetables.

Japan totally fell behind in high-tech and computers. It's not even dominant in TV anymore.

In his columns he seems to be trying very hard not to scare off the normies. If you start pointing out that most of America's wars were immoral the normies get really really upset. So he tries to sugarcoat his message by reassuring them that America used to be a great force for good but has somehow lost its way.

In his books he doesn't seem to worry about frightening the normies. Maybe he figures that most normies don't read actual books.

The only times America’s cause was a force for freedom was in the War for Independence and the War of 1812. Even in those conflicts, it was about liberating Americans from the yoke of a foreign empire, and the Americans fought for the right to be the masters of their own destiny, not for the liberal gods of “equality” or “democracy.”

We could go a long way in resolving the Civil War/War for Southern Independence/divide in traditional Euro-Christian America if we could view that conflict as a competition between those who quite justly fought for their homes, altars and the sovereignty of their states and those who fought to protect the American homeland from the predations and Balkanization (forgive me the anachronism) at the hands of the Rothschild dominated European empires, primarily the British and the French.

The subsequent wars of intervention fought by the United States government- the Spanish American, the First and Second World Wars, Korea, Vietnam, the war against mighty Grenada the Dirty Wars in Central America, the invasion of Panama, Iraq-Kuwait, Serbia, Haiti, Afghanistan, Iraq II, Libya, the Syrian dirty war (forgive any omissions) constitute horrendous crimes against humanity. The US has become the clone of its once most hated adversary, the British Empire, in the service of Zion.

Separation won’t work because it would require forcing law abiding people (both white and black) to give up their homes; the obvious places to give to blacks would be some (at least) of the Deep Southern states, but whites living there would understandably go nuts if they thought this might really happen. Likewise blacks living in areas outside the South. Most folks just don’t want some politician telling them where they must reside.

Hi, Mark. I very much enjoyed reading your lengthy comment. As I've previously indicated, when it comes to your comments, the longer... the better.

    Stay well.

Japan is a dying nation. It is soulless and vapid.

Frankly, “vapid” is in the eye of the beholder. I’ve read a few anecdotes from Westerners who had great times there. Then again, YMMV.

If I’m not mistaken, unlike the West (i.e. the US, Canada, Western Europe and Australia), Japan hasn’t fallen victim to the juggernaut of self-hatred, hence it hasn’t opened its borders to third-world immigrants.

For at least ten full years prior to Pearl Harbor, the USA pursued an openly hostile policy against Japan

Good point and one that really hits ya when you realize how the US, via Matthew Perry, approached Japan nearly a century prior to that.

Yeah, it’s not like the Japanese would ever attempt to bomb US military ships out of the blue!

  66. ‘…Perhaps our mission is to defend and protect what is vital to us, to stay out of foreign wars where our critical interests are not imperiled, and to reunite our divided and disputatious republic…’

That would be nice. Of course, that isn’t our mission. Our mission is to pander to do as Israel says and pander to her pathologies by getting into an evil and futile war in Iran.

…It’s really getting comic. Essentially, that’s all we do any more. Wait for Israel’s bidding and then do as we’re told.
