Some 100 members of an American Mormon community in northern Mexico, nine of whom — women, children, toddlers — were massacred a week ago on a lonely stretch of highway, just crossed over into Arizona.

Other family members who have lived there for decades will follow.

The atrocity was the work of one of the cartels battling for control of the drug traffic into the United States.

In Mexico’s Sinaloa state in October, an arrest of Ovidio Guzman Lopez, son of “El Chapo,” who sits in a New York prison, brought a military-style cartel attack on the state capital, Culiacan, followed by a surrender to the cartel gunmen by national guard and army troops, and a release of the captive.

“Is Mexico a failed state?” asks The Washington Times. Its editorial describes “Another Blood-Soaked Year in Mexico” where 17,000 people were murdered by July and the 2019 death toll is expected to reach 32,000.

USA Today reports: “Through August of the current fiscal year, the Border Patrol apprehended 457,871 migrants arriving as ‘family units’ … a 406% increase compared to the 90,554 family unit apprehensions during the same period the previous year. Migrant families from Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador made up almost 92% of the total.”

With cartel battles escalating into a war that Mexico City has no stomach for fighting, and a record number of migrants from Central America crossing Mexico to flood into the USA, what is the Democratic Party’s policy for halting the rising tide?

Democrats are moving toward an “open door” policy on the U.S. border, an open borders embrace of any and all who wish to come.

America, apparently, does not belong to those who live here and love the country. America belongs to anyone who chooses to come. America belongs to the world.

Consider Bernie Sanders’ immigration proposal, outlined the week of the massacre of Mormon women and children.

On Day One, President Sanders would declare a moratorium on deportations and offer a “swift pathway to citizenship” for all illegal migrants who have been here for five years.

Bernie would break up ICE. Border-jumping would cease to be a crime and become a civil offense like jaywalking. The “Muslim ban” would be abolished.

President Sanders would back sanctuary cities that refuse to work with U.S. law enforcement. Asylum seekers would not have to wait in Mexico as their claims were processed but would be welcomed into the USA.

Family separations would end. Trump’s wall, which Bernie calls “racist,” would be history. The administration’s treatment of illegal immigration “as a criminal and national security matter is inhuman, impractical and must end.”

Migrants who enter illegally would qualify for federal health care and the same social welfare benefits as U.S. citizens. Immigrant officials say Sanders’ proposals would create an irresistible magnet for millions of migrants from all over the world to stampede into the USA.

The Nation magazine calls Sanders’ plan “one of the boldest immigration plans any major politician has put forward in years, and comes amid a campaign season that has seen a major shift to the left among Democratic candidates on immigration.

“With calls for a total moratorium on deportations, abolishing ICE and providing a path to citizenship for undocumented migration, the plan serves as a road map for what a fair and just immigration can be.”

From another standpoint, Sanders’ proposal is a surrender to the reality that a leftist regime lacks the conviction or will to stop an endless stream of people from migrating here.

Americans troubled over what is happening on the Syrian-Turkish border, or Ukrainian-Crimean border, might take a closer look at what will happen at our own border, and to our own country, if Democrats win the presidency and throw open the doors to unrestricted immigration.

The federal budget, already running trillion-dollar deficits, and state budgets, too, will see huge increases in the cost of social programs, without the commensurate income tax revenues to pay for them.

Even at present levels, illegal immigration is bringing in millions of people without the work, education or language skills to compete and assimilate rapidly in a first world, Western economy.

These migrants pay virtually no income taxes, yet, would qualify for the same benefits as U.S. citizens. The inevitable result: another run-up in an annual deficit already running $1 trillion in the red.

Politically, so massive a migration of peoples who, once they become citizens, vote 70%-90% Democratic means an end of the GOP as a truly national party.

If we open the borders, how do we stop the drugs from coming in? How do we stop the cartels from following MS-13, which is already here?

Socially, this country is as splintered as it has been since the 1960s.

Will a barrage of migrants add to its diversity, or deepen the ethnic, racial and cultural divides that are turning us into two, three, many Americas?

Patrick J. Buchanan is the author of “Nixon’s White House Wars: The Battles That Made and Broke a President and Divided America Forever.”

The radical and revolutionary (((Democrat party))) is all about lionizing illegal aliens and non-whites and demonizing whites. They’re cooking up all kinds of schemes to break violent blacks and browns out of prison and send law abiding white men to prison. Democrats fully support mass incarceration if the targets are non-leftist white men.

Everything the demonic Democrats have said and done since 2016 amounts to a declaration of war against white people and the things they love. And outside of a very tiny number of people willing to fight back it looks like whites are willing to go gently into that good night. It’s better than being called a racist.

  9. What Mr. Buchanan didn’t say about those renegade Mexican Mormons is that they went there to live so that they could continue to practice Polygyny, without the threat that the police would knock down their front door and haul the men off to prison. I don’t know, but perhaps they were bribing the Mexican police to look the other way.

Information Clearing House had a 40 minute video about the infamous LeBaron clan. Per the video, the deceased family patriarch had 17 wives and 50 children. Those Mormons are no stranger to “blood atonement” – they’ve done their fair share of killing narcos – and have well defended, well-armed compounds.

Will the men be willing to abandon plural marriage in order to return to the USA? The federal government would not permit Utah statehood until its Mormon population swore off of polygyny. BTW, Mitt Romney’s Mormon father was born in Mexico.

    Yes.

    For the text-oriented among us:

Ezra Klein: If you take global poverty that seriously, it leads you to conclusions that in the US are considered out-of-political-bounds. Things like sharply raising the level of immigration we permit, even up to a level of open borders —

Bernie Sanders: Open borders? That’s a Koch brothers proposal.

    Ezra Klein: Really?

Bernie Sanders: Of course. That’s a right-wing proposal which says essentially there is no United States —

Ezra Klein: But it would make a lot of global poor richer, wouldn’t it?

Bernie Sanders: It would make everybody in America poorer. You’re doing away with the concept of a nation-state, and I don’t think there’s any country in the world which believes in that.

If you believe in a nation-state or in a country called the United States or UK or Denmark or any other country, you have an obligation, in my view, to do everything we can to help poor people. What right-wing people in this country would love is an open border policy. Bring in all kinds of people, work for $2 or $3 an hour, that would be great for them. I don’t believe in that. I think we have to raise wages in this country.

The above is a transcription of the relevant portion; then-outsider candidate Bernie Sanders makes pro-American and nationalist statements, which he later retracts and disavows fully.

a calculate political decision, and it’s rather amazing, because at the end of the day, when our political class consider it expedient to advocate for the absolute destruction of the nation, and for the US to commit economic and ecological suicide, what that means is that the hatred the American POC, harbor for whitey, has become so pathologically demented, that it’s now politically advisable to advocate for the absolute destruction of the nation.

It’s like people on a ship, who’re so psychotic in their hatred for the other passengers, that they drill holes in the hull, and attempt to sink the ship, knowing they too will perish – but their hated is so all-consuming, that drowning is a small price to pay, in order for the satisfaction they’ll feel for finally and at long last – killing whitey.

  17. Im sorry to say, but the GOP in its current state needs to die. You can claim all you want thaqt the Dems are for open borders, but what is the GOP as a whole pushing for as an alternative? Mike Lee is trying to pass a senate bill that woudl essentially staple a green card to the back of every diploma for illegals that graduate college. Dan Crenshaw in the house wants to expand the H1-B visa program to phase out low skill workers in favor of high akill workers from India and China. these people come here on visas, they stays years after the visa expires, get on welfare, and work jobs for pennies lest they get sent back home by their corporate sponsors. Its killing the middle and upper middle job market, and the wage stagnation trickles down to the lower class as well. If anything the GOp is just doing open borders, just on the top half, while the Dems handle open borders on the bottom. Remember, as long as its “legal”, the GOP will support it. Its a formality. If open borders means these RINOS that sold ot our country and gate keep get booted out of office, then more power to them. If this acceleration leads to civil war, then its what we need if we want actual change to be made and an actual paradigm shift to occur.

What the DEMS want is hordes of cheap, obedient LABORERS. In fact Corporate Wallstreet openly supports DEMS precisely to drive wages down for local labor force. Congress lady Pelosi made her billions in the Wine industry exploiting cheap (child) illegal rural workers for her inmense vineyards paying them poverty wages. The so called DACA had allowed its recipients to engaged in drug, migrants trafficking without losing their legal permits. JHopw can you justify a DACA recipinet bieng released after being arrested with 10ks of cocaine…racism???The last electoral cycle in California seal the state as a BLUE DEM state locking out any GOP, and other opposition parties. In fact DEMS openly recruited illegal Mexicans to vote, dead voters, mexicans with fake voters ids, busing illegal Mexicans from the border states, etc. The DEMS are winning elections even in traditional RED states using fraud and litigation.

I heard a long report on TV a couple nights ago about facial-recognition technology and its use in law enforcement and political monitoring. And I thought, why is it that no one puts massive immigration and the growing use of surveillance cameras and so forth together, as two aspects of the same phenomenon? Isn’t it obvious that if you do not distinguish between people at borders you’re going to have to violate their privacy somehow in order to distinguish between them closer to home? Every time there’s a terrorist attack in France by a Muslim (or even a non-Muslim), there’s always an outcry over the police’s failure to recognize the radicalization of the terrorist, as if it is the ideal to have the police so carefully monitoring us all that they can read our minds.

Younger Democrats on the other hand will be delighted by the open borders idea. And that’s his base.

In terms of cynical calculating politics it might pay off for him.

And maybe he figures it just doesn’t matter because regardless of who wins there’ll be de facto open borders anyway. If people don’t like his immigration policy they can vote for Trump, the guy who wants massive increases in immigration.

If Reagan had not given amnesty, California would never have turned blue. The GoP is the other half of the complicit steady state, and they are no better than the democrats. The GoP has refused to fight, they don’t sue anyone, they don’t work with or fund activists groups, they exist simply to be a speed bump so people don’t realize that we have open borders now. Country over party, if they won’t fight, then they don’t deserve the seats they occupy, and the sooner the GoP is deposed from power, the sooner the mask will drop.

Also I like how advocating for open borders and abolishing ICE isn’t called out as an extremist position. Because Republicans stick to “muh principles” they have allowed the left to control the conversation to the point a “moderate democrat” today is further to the left than Mao. Replacement levels of immigration is a social experiment none too different than the Great Leap Forward, except this time they are importing foreign lumpen prole, so you won’t be able to just reverse it when everyone starts to starve.

Then there is always the tried and true Wag the Dog scenario. What better way to deflect from this democrat coup (that’s right, coup not impeachment) than to start another war.

Pro-polygamy editorials begin appearing in US regime media before Jan. 1, 2025? Any takers on that bet?

Won’t happen because too many White men would benefit. The left is already resentful of Mormons for having large families. In their minds only non-Whites should be allowed large families. Don’t ask them to explain this.

In fact a lib wrote an editorial a while back on why homosexual marriage should be legal but not polygamy. It didn’t make much sense and tried to imply that the women were not in love or were being coerced. Another problem is that they tell us about how homosexuality is natural and thus should be accepted. Well polygamy goes back thousands of years. However liberals of course don’t really care if anything they claim makes sense. All they care about is getting what they want.

Polygamy could be potentially used to offset dysgenics from welfare and polyandry. But I’d rather just see a return to common sense.

But it would be fun to watch polygamists portray themselves as a sexual minority and then have liberals explain why they don’t count.

Mormon polygamy has a real nasty side which is how they treat the boys not chosen to have wives.

When the boys reach sexual maturity they are often chased off from the compound, sometimes as young as 14. They alpha husband doesn’t want any of his wives getting any ideas.

So it’s not some big communal family as portrayed.

The other problem is that when they are chased off they typically aren’t up to date on schooling.

I have to wonder how this works in Mexico. Not a place where you want to be chased off a compound.

So for the Feds it isn’t just polygamy. It’s also these compounds kicking out male teenagers onto society with nowhere to go.

  40. If I was a Yank I’d vote for Sanders. I’m one of the tiny minority who believe in open borders. To agree with me, you’d have to have no preference for your fellow citizens over foreigners. That’s why I’m a member of a tiny minority (which doesn’t bother me in the least). Open borders means a movement towards 3rd world wages. For the USA, it doesn’t mean 1 to 2 million illegal immigrants a year; it means tens or hundreds of millions of legal immigrants. If Sanders really agrees with me, he either doesn’t want to be President or hopes to be a one term President.

I think it’s more likely he’s abandoned honesty as a policy; a reversion to the political norm. I find that disappointing but I’m never surprised when politicians lie. It’s often effective, particularly when one has a reputation for honesty.

If the policy was implemented and kept, Canada would soon have to police their US border to keep their wages at or close to their current level. Later, Mexico would have to do the same (relatively speaking, Mexico is rich). Well before Mexico, countries like Australia would have a strongly enforced visa system to protect themselves from US illegal immigrants. I’d never inform on one but I would laugh. [email protected]

[a top-down drive for legalization of polygamy] won’t happen because too many White men would benefit. The left is already resentful of Mormons

Steve Sailer has said exactly the same for years, that the elite-Left (not to repeat myself)’s push to crush their domestic enemies by getting rid of traditional marriage can’t quite push past the polygamy frontier yet because it’s associated with white Mormons.

Here is Sailer in March 2013:

    http://www.unz.com/isteve/why-polygamy-will-eventually-be/

You hear the argument frequently that when gay marriage is declared a self-evident civil right, then how, in principle, can three fundamentalist Mormons or three Arabs be denied their rights to be married, too?

Easy — They are fundamentalist Mormons.

Look, principles don’t have anything to do with it. It’s a popularity contest. Gays are popular and Mormons aren’t. Gays are powerful nationally, Mormons powerful mostly regionally. Polygamous fundamentalist Mormons are extremely unpopular and not very powerful, so nobody is going to do anything for them.

In the same post he offers a counter-theory on why he thinks a push to legalize polygamy will occur anyway:

Okay, but can Arabs be denied their rights?

Not so easy, but it can still be done: After all, they are Arabs. Arabs have their proponents, but they also have their detractors.

Ultimately, though, polgyamy has a secret weapon: polygamous immigrant Africans.

So, eventually, the question will become: Can blacks be denied their rights? What with America’s dark history of racist brutality and all?

Now that is exactly the kind of question that America ultimately gives in on.

Why Polygamy Will Eventually be Legalized,” by Steve Sailer, iSteve blog, March 27, 2013.

After 6.5 years, that prediction has, so far, not quite come to pass. I’d be curious on Steve’s current prediction on the matter.

  43. Why don’t we ever see Pelosi, Warren, Sanders or Schumer, etc. step up to the mike and demand open borders for Israel? Why won’t they say Israel’s walls are ineffective and immoral? Once again, it’s Israel First, and the American people don’t deserve security or control of their own borders. Meanwhile, Israel declares itself an ethnic state and the Swamp yawns.

  44. ‘Immigrant officials say Sanders’ proposals would create an irresistible magnet for millions of migrants from all over the world to stampede into the USA.’

But it won’t be millions, it won’t even be tens of millions, it will be hundreds of millions coming across the border. Conservatives ostensibly want cheap labor, but they fail to recognize the implicit hierarchy that represents any advanced society. By overwhelming the ability to maintain a 1st-world infrastructure, there will be no jobs to offer and no money to be made off the backs of cheap labor, because there will be no corporations or business entities that can remain viable.

The only organization that will thrive in such dystopia is crime at its most vicious. If that’s the end-goal that conservatives have in mind, then they should dispense with the disingenuous lies about free-market business, and just start hiring and arming proxy non-white thugs like the left does already. Nobody should have any further doubts: conservative Repubs and leftist Dems are flip sides of the globohomo Uniparty, they both bend the knee to their master Satan, and they both need to be completely eliminated from the face of this earth.

Once the economy slows down, as it must, there will be some slight trouble.

Reminder to the elite: Elysium was a fantasy, you cannot live in luxury on the International Space Station. Indeed, it will be deorbited soon.

Will the Mormons be allowed to continue practicing polygamy after moving to the United States? Will Muslims be allowed to practive it in the U.S.? How much multiculturalism will be tolerated?

Why is polygamy wrong when Mormons do it under marriage vows–who cares? Polygamy is rampant in the African community and they don’t marry any of their beloved hoes.

I suggest you take a gander at the African community. Have children outside of marriage, with multiple beeches, is part of their culture.

Americans support open borders in Europe, in fact they generally think of Europe as one country yet get angry and defensive if you say that the culture and economic distance between say the UK and Poland is comparable to the cultural and economic distance between the US and Mexico.

“Open borders for thee, but not for me” it seems.

In researching definitions, I discovered that the word Polygamy is usually used improperly. Polygyny is when one man has more than one wife. Polyandry is when one woman has more than one husband. Both are forms of Polygamy.

Anyway, legal polygyny might benefit a small minority of Alpha males, but it would be a disaster for the Beta majority, as well as for society. Before the rise of feminism and abortion in the US, the norm was for young men and young women to marry in their twenties and start having children, when the women were most fertile. Thus they quickly became fully functioning adults with a stake in society.

Now single young white Beta men, who can’t find long term relationships, have become a lost generation, killing themselves with drugs and alcohol in great numbers. Could it be that the decline of traditional early marriage, and the growth and acceptance of homosexuality are related?

If polygyny was legalized and became accepted, it would greatly exacerbate the Incel problem, leading to all kinds of unintended consequences. Monogamy and marriage are necessary for the stability of society. Messing with that tried and true formula is a prescription for disaster. Any Mormons who still believe in plural marriage can go f**k themselves and stay in Mexico.

While Bernie demands low IQ, 3rd world immigration into the US & other Euro-white majority countries, he supports very strict Israeli immigration laws which mandate JEWS ONLY.

  53. @Monotonous Languor

Unrestrained immigration is a huge and growing problem, but it is ultimately self-limiting, and won’t be hundreds of millions. At a certain point, the USA will become such a shithole (it already is in many places) that those south of our border, and elsewhere in the world, will quit coming.

In fact, I can envision a scenario in which Central Americans have so de-populated their own countries, that US whites will emigrate in great numbers to, for example, Honduras, and become citizens there. Problem is, though, that once whites have stabilized and modernized that country, the Hondurans will flee the US shithole and demand to be let back in.

Elysium is still the goal. They just need to steal a few more trillions to fund a secret space program.

As you may know there are many conspiracy theorists who claim a secret space program has been in operations for decades–hard to verify since it is secret. 🙂

I am using the American Heritage Dictionary definition of polygamy: that is, more than one spouse (not simply promiscuity).

Thanks for putting this up. I loved rereading the sensible and accurate answers of Bernie Sanders.

It’s annoying and troubling to read the naive and unthinking position of Ezra Klein about immigration and the world’s poor. One nation cannot solve worldwide poverty and should not be encouraged to try.

Of course it’s disappointing to see how much Sander’s rhetoric is different today from what it was in 2015. It’s impossible to think he’s really changed his mind. I wonder how he can espouse his current immigration statements when he thinks so differently. When you think bringing in too many people is a threat to the people already here — which it is — how can you be for virtual open borders?

I hope when the election is over that someone asks hims about immigration and that he gives an honest answer again.

Yes, a lot of Republicans are terrible on immigration and it makes me so mad.

I do not see much of a future for the party down the road. There will be too many non-whites and too many non-conservatives for them to keep being one of the our two big parties. I see the rise of a new replacement party. I think a small third party version of the Republicans will stick around for awhile, though.

Trump’s wall, which Bernie calls “racist,” would be history.

Which wall? But isn’t it history already, like so many promises? Or was he saving it for his second term?

As for Bernie, his almost 180 degrees turn on this issue is quite bizarre. Goes to show you can’t trust any politician, right or left.

  60. @KenH

Yep. If you have two islands and one of them has 10000 white people and the other has 10000 black people AND the idea, the black island will be free and prosperous and a good place to live. The white island, without the idea, will be a savage hell.

Funny how Israel’s TWO walls are not “racist”.

The world had a war. Two actually, but they were really the same war.

That war (at least in the Russian/European theater) was fought between nationalists (racists ; ) in Europe who wanted to persevere as a nation. (Germany for Germans, that kind of thing).

vs. the (((international banking elite))), whose intention is to enslave the planet to their fiat currency debt, and then use that raw power, to force the envied (and therefor hated) Western world to commit demographic suicide. It’s all about tribal politics, red in Talmud and claw.

So if you haven’t been paying attention, the banksters won. And won big.

And that means genocide for Germany in particular, and the rest of the dying Christian Western world in general.

Israel becomes a rabidly ethno-pure, Nazi-type of imperial state, because they were the ones that won that war. Duh.

And so the West has been consigned to the trash heap of history, and we all get to enjoy the show as the traitorous scum in our respective governments slavishly serve Israel, (Reagan, Clinton, Bush, Blair, Merkel, Macron.. etcetera ad nauseam) – by inviting in armies of Third World replacements to breed out the ((conquered)) White race, and concurrently sending out White cannon fodder to die and kill in myriad wars on Israel’s behalf. (which was the whole point of the war(s) to begin with. To codify Jewish $upremacist hegemony over the planet).

(I hate to say ‘duh’, because it sounds like I’m being derogatory, but I’m not. Just pointing out that once you look at it, the things I write seem brutally obvious, no?)

  63. @follyofwar

In researching definitions, I discovered that the word Polygamy is usually used improperly.

I’m aware of this but it can be used as a general term when the context is clear. When we talk about polygamy in Mormon societies we know which gender is the multiple.

Anyway, legal polygyny might benefit a small minority of Alpha males, but it would be a disaster for the Beta majority, as well as for society.

I could see it being useful in certain cases with limits to reduce dysgenic trends. For example as an option to the single mom in a small town that wants another child but doesn’t want to pick from the bars. But it could only be a temporary solution until society was placed back on a stable path.

If polygyny was legalized and became accepted, it would greatly exacerbate the Incel problem, leading to all kinds of unintended consequences.

I agree that could it easily cause more instability. I could only see it working if the second wife was not shared publicly. I doubt most women would vote for it anyways. It would have to be forced through the courts and the liberals don’t have a favored minority to use in this case.
