Adapted from the latest Radio Derb, available exclusively on VDARE.com

Last week’s headliners were two mass shootings: one in El Paso, Texas last Saturday morning, followed in the small hours of Sunday morning by another in Dayton, Ohio. The El Paso shooter killed 22 people; the second killed nine. The El Paso guy is in custody; the Dayton one was killed by police.

Sincere condolences from Radio Derb to the wounded and bereaved. But this is a nation of a third of a billion people, though, and ghastly things will happen—some of them by human agency, some by natural catastrophes.

I guess my attitude is just fatalistic. Of the public reactions to these two events, the only one that really returned an echo from my bosom was the one by TV astronomer Neil deGrasse Tyson. Tweeted Tyson on Sunday:

Tyson’s tweet occasioned much screeching and pearl-clutching from goodthinking types. [Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson slammed for tweet about mass shooting data, by Nick Givas, Fox News, August 6, 2019] He responded with a half-hearted apology, which of course nobody accepted.[Neil deGrasse Tyson’s Tweet About Mass Shootings Was Bad. His Apology May Have Been Worse, by Justin Bariso, Inc.com, August 7, 2019]

I can’t claim much engagement with Tyson. I’ve never read one of his books or watched one of his TV programs.

That’s not from any antipathy; I know next to nothing about the guy. The only pop-science books I read are ones editors send me for review, and it just happens that no-one’s sent me one of Tyson’s books. I don’t watch much TV—some conservative commentary, currently Tucker Carlson, and now and then a sitcom that tickles my fancy.

So I’ve totally missed Tyson, without prejudice. (Except that, like everyone else not thoroughly brainwashed, I assume by reflex that any black person doing science on TV is an Affirmative-Action hire. Reflexes like that are among the evil consequence s of Affirmative Action, and I don’t think tell us anything important about either the subject or the object).

I’m with Tyson on this one, anyway. I’m a numbers guy, and plainly so is he. With news events like this all sorts of cognitive biases kick in. You could start your googling with the phrase “salience bias.”

That especially applies when politicians and their media stooges amp up the salience for all they’re worth.

Sorry, but I prefer the cooler numerical approach. Hey, Mr. Tyson: You ever in Long Island? I’ll buy you a drink. I’m an astronomy buff from way back; my high school had a 12-inch reflector.

And of course the politicians and pundits milked the killings for all they were worth. Since competitive politics right now is mostly among contenders for next year’s Democratic Presidential nomination, and pundits break about nine to one Democrat, most of the commentary blamed the events on President Trump and the 63 million deplorables who, in violation of all the laws of nature, voted for him in 2016.

Squeezing political points out of the El Paso and Dayton horrors wasn’t easy, though.

It looked at first as if it was going to be easy. Both the shooters were white, so the Main Stream Media could freely portray them as psychopathic monsters. Well, they are—or in the Dayton guy’s case, were—psychopathic monsters; but then, so are the black murderers who commit most of our mass shootings but get way less media coverage and generate very little interest among politicians.

And then, the El Paso killer had (allegedly) posted a manifesto online. It’s 2,400 words—which is fairly brief, as these things go. The manifesto of 2011 Norwegian mass killer Anders Breivik ran to half a million words.[ Breivik sent ‘manifesto’ to 250 UK contacts hours before Norway killings, by Matthew Taylor, Guardian, July 26, 2011]

There was enough in those 2,400 words, though, for the CultMarx mob to argue that the killer was inspired by President Trump–even though the killer himself, in the manifesto, explicitly told us he’d formed his ideas before Trump showed up.

The main point that got the CultMarx mob’s attention: the killer writing that:

This attack is a response to the Hispanic invasion of Texas … I am simply defending my country from cultural and ethnic replacement brought on by an invasion.

With a hundred thousand people a month coming in across our southern border without permission, terms like “invasion” and “ethnic replacement” don’t seem hyperbolic to me. And yes, some of Donald Trump’s past statements indicate similar lines of thinking; although in two and a half years as Chief Executive he hasn’t actually done much to defend our nation’s demographic stability.

Other notions expressed in the El Paso guy’s manifesto are un-Trumpian or actually anti-Trumpian; he grumbles about corporate greed and the degradation of the environment, for instance.

So the guy has a lot of different beefs he was working off, some of them approximately Trumpian. The way he worked them off was by murdering 22 random strangers in a Walmart store. That was insane; and yes, the guy is a psychopathic monster.

Crazy people get their inspiration the way the rest of us do, from listening, reading, and personal experience. What they then do with their inspiration tells you nothing about the content of the source material.

Fifty years ago l ast week—August 9th, 1969—Charlie Manson and his gang murdered Sharon Tate and four other people in Beverly Hills. Manson claimed a Beatles song, “Helter Skelter,” as his inspiration.

This tells you absolutely nothing about the Beatles, or about their music, or about people who like their music.

And nobody ever claimed it did.

Crazy people do crazy stuff for reasons that make sense to no-one but themselves.

They’re crazy.

ORDER IT NOW

Milking last weekend’s horrors for CultMarx talking points got even more difficult—or, as the progressives say, “problematic”—when it turned out that the Dayton killer was Antifa. He didn’t leave a manifesto behind, but he did leave a long trail on social media that left no doubt.

The Dayton Daily News in fact reported on Tuesday that the killer had been present at a May 25th rally protesting the KKK. He had showed up in full Antifa gear, complete with face bandanna, sunglasses, and a gun, possibly the same gun he used last weekend.

This has of course proved deeply uninteresting to the Democratic candidates and their media shills. Here’s a random headline, this one from CNN, dated Wednesday—the day after the Dayton Daily News report. Headline: Dayton shooter had an obsession with violence and mass shootings, police say.

You have to read 300 words into the report before the word “Antifa” shows up.

But while I doubt there are any direct political causes for events like these, there may very well be deeper social causes.

In between news stories about those mass killings last weekend, my eye fell upon this unrelated item. Headline from the Daily Mail: A Quarter of Millennials Say They Have no Friends, Study Finds. [by Natalie Rahhal, Dailymail.com, August 2, 2019]

Hmm. The Dayton killer—the Antifa guy—was a millennial, 24 years old.

On the strict definition, the El Paso guy was just post-millennial, 21 years old. “Generation Z,” the post-millennials are sometimes called. So how are they doing?

Different headline, this one from VoiceOfEurope: Gen Z Crisis: “9 in 10 young Brits think their lives are meaningless. [by Arthur Lyons, August 5, 2019]

Just a couple more data points on this theme.

First data point: The sister of the Dayton shooter, who was one of those killed in the shooting, identified as a guy. Her birth name was Megan, but to a close circle of friends she was Jordan.[Dayton shooter Connor Betts’ slain sister was a transgender man: report, by Natalie O’Neill, NY Post,August 9, 2019]

Second data point: That Dayton shooter participated as vocalist in a fringe music scene called “pornogrind.” Two of the bands he performed with bore the names Menstrual Munchies and Putrid Liquid.

I really, really don’t want to know any more about pornogrind, but by all means look it up if you have the stomach for it.

I have no comment of my own on those two data points, but I’ll borrow one from Carson Robison: There’s something cockeyed somewhere.”

John Derbyshire [email him] writes an incredible amount on all sorts of subjects for all kinds of outlets. (This no longer includes National Review, whose editors had some kind of tantrum and fired him.) He is the authorof We Are Doomed: Reclaiming Conservative Pessimism and several other books. Tyson’s tweet would have been more powerful if he cited annual numbers.

Mass-shooting deaths still register at the 300-400 level per year.

Compare that to 45,000 suicides and 40,000 car accidents.

On 23 July 2019, US Attorney General & ‘former’ CIA officer William Barr, was speaking at Fordham University:

« Barr concluded his speech by stating that he anticipated “a major incident may well occur at any time that will galvanize public opinion” » leading to legal demands for the end of privacy more repression etc

On the same day, 23 July 2019, FBI Director Christopher Wray spoke to the US Senate, where he surprised many by saying that, “The most persistent threats to the nation and to U.S. interests abroad are homegrown violent extremists (HVEs), domestic terrorists …”

Five days later, on 28 July, there was the California Garlic Festival mass shooting

Six days after that, on 3 August, there was the El Paso Texas Wal-Mart mass shooting

Followed in turn within a few hours, on 4 August in the early a.m., by the Dayton Ohio Peppers Bar mass shooting

Leading to mass calls for more surveillance, cyber-monitoring etc just as US Attorney General Barr had anticipated 12 days earlier

    No doubt all a coincidence

  9. I am a huge fan, Derb; however, both yourself and Mr. Tyson are pretty clearly off the mark, here. Terrorism, or the random slaughter of innocents, or whatever you choose to call it, is substantively different from automobile accidents and medical errors. For terrorism is an attack on a people’s ability to move freely about their own society. It is an attack on the very concept of civil society.

I have often heard libtards of various stripes make the argument that, say, Islamic terrorism counts for a “very small proportion of deaths [or even murders] in a given country,” and thus, the implication is, we should not worry overmuch about immigration (of course, they are quite wrong) Well, most murders are committed by small-time criminals, their victims tending to be other small-time criminals, in disputes over territory, money, respect, etc. The average little old lady or six-year-old is generally not threatened by such crimes; neither are they prevented from going about their business. But once you start gunning down little old ladies in the street, it becomes not just an attack on specific people, but on the very ability of people to live their lives in a free society.

You are better with numbers than I will ever be, but in this instance, your vaunted numeracy quite failed you.

I’ve never paid much attention to Neil Degrasse Tyson only because I suspected he was being promoted as another black guy instructing whitey about science. Similar to how when there’s a newspaper article or news segment about computing technology there’s always blacks around as if black skin connotes computer interest and expertise.

Needless to say I’ve gained a great deal of respect for Mr. Degrasse Tyson since he provided context and espoused common sense in the wake of the El Paso and Dayton shootings and didn’t go all woke and hyperventilate about white suepremacist tear-ERR.

The Dayton shooter was a left wing, antifa and Pocahontas Warren supporting satanist. CNN actually reported this but it seems a lot of other mainstream outlets are slow to acknowledge this and spend much more time on the El Paso shooting since it fits their narrative.

Everything you know about AR15s might be a lie
    2016, June 22 | Brandon

This is a follow-up to our article reporting concerning 20+ years of FBI data, ‘assault rifle’ fatalities continue to decline.

The purpose of this article, and our previous one are to highlight just the facts – That despite becoming the overwhelmingly most popular firearm in the United States, AR15s are by and large only used by civilians for recreational activities, and that a new assault weapons ban would be extraordinarily ineffective. This, based on 20+ years of data provided by the FBI and DOJ concerning the number of crimes committed with rifles including ones like the AR15.

20+ years of FBI data – “Assault Rifles” pose little threat to public safety
    2016, June 21 | Brandon

… Since 1995 (the year after the 1994-2004 Assault Weapons Ban), the FBI has maintained a very detailed list of how many people have died at the hands of assault weapons and/or rifles, which are merged into the same group. Therefore, we can make a solid comparison on what gun violence looks like.

In 2014, you are 67% less likely to be murdered by an assault weapon or rifle than you were in 1995.

  24. unit472 says:

It is interesting that while the number of murders where the victim is selected at random by the killer have not changed much over the years the methodology has.

Beginning in the late sixties we had a surge in ‘serial killers’. Zodiacs, Nightstalkers, Sons of Sam etc. seemed to be erupting everywhere. These guys seemed to enjoy their notoriety but as their numbers grew it became harder and harder to achieve celebrity killer status. First you had to kill more and more people and do it with an identifiable M.O. so the public and police would recognize a killing as your ‘work’ and, second, not get caught, at least until you had a decent body count.

In the 1980’s we began to see a shift away from the ‘serial killer’ to the ‘active shooter’ style of multilple random murders. Luby’s Cafe, the San Diego McDonalds and so many USPS workers going on shooting sprees the term ‘going postal’ entered the language. With the deaths of John Gacy and Jeffrey Dahmer in 1994 the era of the ‘superstar’ serial killer was over and the active shooter became the dominant form of mass murder.

The why of this makes for interesting speculation. As mentioned serial killing requires a lot of hard work over an extended period of time. Selecting victims, concealing the body and avoiding detection grew more difficult as technology and forensic science advanced. As the case of the Golden State Killer has shown, once the police have your DNA your ability to avoid identification and arrest maybe over. OTOH anyone with a semiautomatic firearm can become a fearsome active shooter able to kill dozens of people in just a minute or two though your chances of escape are also minimal. It requires no cunning, no planning just a willingness to be ruthless. If you kill enough people or you attack a particularly vulnerable population such as school children you can achieve the same level of media infamy as the serial killers of old without all the stress of a multi year murder campaign.

Bugliosi also wrote, and got lots of publicity for his “position” in the Mainslime Media, that the “Lone Nutter” Oswald was the only Kennedy shooter–the only people who are of this opinion are idiots, payed off shills, or “in on it” with the CIA/Deep State etc.–the NYSlimes is big on this “truth” so we all know it is a total lie just for that reason alone!– if not for the mountain of evidence that Oswald actually seems to have worked for the CIA (only ex-Marine who defected to Cuba that flew back on a military transport (only possible way given the evidence of flight times) and was never prosecuted or investigated for his conduct) and was in fact the patsy he claimed to be before the Mobbed up Jew Assassin (look at the photo of the murder of Oswald and how Ruby pulled the trigger pointing with his index finger and using his middle one on the trigger — “normal” people don’t do that shooting a pistol, trained assassins do,yes–a real pro!) was allowed to deliver the kill shot as two big Policemen held Oswald in place for it.

So given that it seems Bugliosi was probably always on the payroll or associated with the “Intelligence Agency” types who are behind these things with their friends in the Mafia. The single best book on the JFK Murder as to why it was done and by who was actually written by big shot Mafiosa Sam Giancana’s brother Chuck (Sam shared Mistress(s) with JFK…), who was actually on the scene as his brother, a psychopath from birth basically, moved up the ladder in the Chicago Mob and finally joined forces with his enablers/”friends” in the CIA–the book tells the whys and hows and is very credible (its called “Double Cross”)–so credible it was stuffed down the rabbit hole immediately and is completely ignored. (Its very obvious Chuck risked his life writing it when you read it). Interestingly, I have come across several times in researching that ex-Sheriff’s in the area where Manson and Family were camped out knew he was there and wanted to raid/arrest the thieving gang led by an ex-Con surrounded by drugged out teen age women– but were given orders “from above” not to do so, they obviously weren’t “ripe” enough yet for picking….

Not to go into this at length, but since you mentioned them specifically– there is substantial evidence Zodiac, Son of Sam etc. were all networked in with Satanist groups and were part of “Occult Workings” — a real “term of art” in that line of endeavor…by such public serial murdering it seems you can cause a certain type of society wide “shock” and have quite an effect on the future trajectory of a country, or so they believed it seems…given the history before and after maybe they are right?– Berkowitz has actually come out and said this and the cops involved with him agree…it seems the influence of this “group” is vast and gets hidden quite a bit as they are quite the “Occult” force in “Entertainment” and elsewhere–sort of like an adjunct to the massive secret society Masons, a hidden nasty little brother….

The site VigilantCitizen.com does a great job breaking down their symbolism in big entertainer’s “acts” like Taylor Swift recently baptized in, Madonna etc. you can’t see the videos and the breakdown with out knowing that what he’s saying is dead accurate, you would have to be brain dead–the “covering of the eye” thing and other symbolism is everywhere, outrageous, and can’t be random–and if it’s not random then these people are extremely powerful and “in charge” (more and more open about it too, it seems….) they definitely target young people/teens the most it seems–which should be kind of a “wake up call” for normals who don’t “believe” in such things–it’s stuck in your face daily….

Well, it’s perfectly correct that the bodycount of the Walmart Massacre is pretty insignificant compared to the total number of people in this country who die each year from car accidents or the flu. But I wonder…

Would Derb and his VDare friends be making the same argument that the incident was totally insignificant and should be ignored by the media given the far larger number of people dying from car accidents or the flu?…

  38. Tusk says:
    @Ron Unz

Well most of the outrage against Terrorism is against foreign agents causing harm to the native population, whereas El Paso and Christchurch are natives attacking foreigners. A complete reverse in how the violence is directed. A person has the right to be outraged if someone breaks into their home, but the intruder does not have the right to be upset if he is attacked. In regard to the immigration I don’t blame those incentivized for acting upon their desires, the faceless and eternal state apparatus that cares not who it rules but only that it benefits it or its minions. This is not to say that terrorism or illegal alien violence is even important, it falls similarly into the numbers that Tyson describes, it is equally as arbitrary in the grand scheme of things but the logic behind the violence is important.

With 100k people coming each month and no action being taken by the Government people are going to react violently to achieve their goals but equally any ‘attacks’ seem to be just distractions to bog people down in current events instead of actual long term goals. People would be better off ignoring these events. Just as the political space is constantly clogged up with pointless moral issues that detract everyone (Gay rights, transgender rights, hate speech, reparations…etc etc) the Demographic argument is being plagued with the same moralisms (free healthcare, racism from whites, whether or not everyone has a right to come to America) that detract from actual answers.

With Africans even being included in those crossing the border, hoping to come to the promised land, demographic fears for White American’s are justified. I agree that people should stop focusing on foreigners murdering native whites, while they are justified the issue is that the ruling elite are the ones pushing this. We shouldn’t blame the tools of destruction but instead those that wield them. Here’s another important question: Who/What is to blame for the 250 medical error deaths each day? How many of those deaths are White people, how many of those are from foreign born doctors?

As Andrew Joyce wrote on TOO: “an analysis that revealed non-British doctors (25% of the total) were responsible for at least 80% of tribunal cases in 2016”

If those numbers are similar in America then what is the point of worrying about Islamic terrorism or illegal immigrants? The Government is importing ‘skilled’ people that evidently are causing more harm than those combined. The moral outrage over cultural connotations of mass shootings should not override the statistical reality of harm done in society and who is causing it.

I’ve never believed in the “Legend of the black Republican”, but imagine if they do vote for him?

In the primary he got a lot of support from blacks, at least the ones I knew personally. That didn’t surprise me. Blacks are hurt more than whites by mass immigration from Mexico and points south, and Trump was the only one even talking about cutting into that.

If Trump had spent the last couple of years backing up his talk with action on immigration he might well draw more black votes next year than any Republican since Nixon pulled over 20% in 1960. As it is, there’s nothing Trump can offer blacks that they can’t get more of from the Democrat du jour.

” Would Derb and his VDare friends be making the same argument that the incident was totally insignificant and should be ignored by the media given the far larger number of people dying from car accidents or the flu?…”

Is that what they said? I missed that part. No, actually I didn’t miss it because it isn’t there. Now, I did read the part of the article that showed a tweet by Tyson who made an observation that offers a perspective on the media’s coverage of what really appears to be a manufactured event complete with a patsy who supposedly wrote a manifesto.

Clip what you think you read that supports your hyperbolic claim that Derb says the incident is insignificant and should be ignored by the media. Paste it here where I can read it. You can’t because it’s bullshit, ain’t it, Ron?

  41. @Tusk

“With 100k people coming each month and no action being taken by the Government ”

I think it’s even worse than that, Tusk. My understanding is that the 100K figure is the number of invaders the BP is sure of based on arrests and evidence of more who got away. A larger figure could reasonably be assumed given the fact that the BP can’t be everywhere all the time.

Sorry for picking one point out of your comment. You presented a lot more and it’s all food for thought.

    Thanks.

I agree. In several instances witnesses reported seeing several shooters in black BDUs instead of the lone gunman the police always end up claiming. In El Paso it seems clear that one guy couldn’t have put out enough accurately aimed fire to hit all the victims in the time between the camera catching him coming in the door and the cops grabbing him outside.

One big development is that the ones staging the attacks have now started actually killing people instead of just claiming a body count in the media coverage.

No thank you or pointing it out, because you are correct. I’ve read (and often agreed) that for everyone caught at least one most likely gets through. The amount of manpower and resources to capture one person is immense, considering you cannot plan for everything or have everyone everywhere at once many will get through. It is very important to considerthis when anyone looks at ‘official’ stats.

Good point Ron. What I fail to understand is this- you are basically a racially tolerant person who is relaxed about legal high skill immigration. What on earth do you gain by providing a platform for some of the most extreme and potentially violent racialists – white nationalists, segregationists, KKK supporters, neo nazis (the designations are interchangeable). You may feel sorry for some of these so called ‘writers’ who cannot get their work published elsewhere. Ever wondered why? Do you realise that by default or otherwise Unz has become one of the main outlets for the online radicalisation of disaffected white males and some of these no hopers are turning into violent extremists? Imagine the infamy bestowed upon you if in future it transpires that a white nationalist mass killer’s online ranting’s are traced back to UNZ review? Ron, I am afraid we are perilously close to this situation. Don’t believe me?- Read some of the comments on the website you have created.
Just to make it clear, I am not accusing John Derbyshire of being a violent extremist. His is a sad case. In a previous incarnation Derb was a successful writer of popular science books. His book the Prime Obsession is one of the best books on Prime Numbers and I have read it twice. Unfortunately, something happened to his brain and he was re-incarnated as a white nationalist. So sad!

  46. Beliavsky says:

There is something especially terrible about a group of people, unknown to the murderer, being killed because of their race. So the El Paso shooting gets attention beyond its sheer numbers. That said, how much national attention did Colin Ferguson’s 1993 rampage get?

  47. Jameswolf says:

The  leftists   and  promotors   of  open borders  are using  the argument that   migrants are not safe in Mexico  because  very often in  Mexico     some gangs  kill people.         But  then USA can use the same argument  to deny asylum to all   people of caravans and coming to USA from any country:
USA can argue:  “sorry,  but USA is very dangerous for  you, some crazy people  may shoot  and kill you any time and anywhere,   remember  the shooter  at Las Vegas, and now the killer of El Paso, and many others.  So, bye  bye,  go to find   asylum in some other country, NOT in USA.  THis is not a safe place”. Why dont  the   American politicians  use their brains   to stop  immigration?  The immigrants use all type of tricks to enter and USA is not using the brain cells.
Now Russia wants migrants, then Mr Trump should negociate with him: “We can send some millions to Russia, my friend Vladimir, do you want them?” Then all guys from caravans can be sent to Russia, if they dont want, they must come back to their countries or stay in Mexico, there they will have all the Mexican love. Mr AMLO says he loves Central Americans, and he signed the pact with United Nations, so he must take them.

I don’t think Derb or anyone said the media should ignore the Wal-Mart shooting but in this case the (((media))) literally lost their minds and began hollering “white soopremacist tear-err” at the top of their lungs as if there’s pasty faced evildoers behind every tree waiting to jump out with semi-auto rifles and terrorize “communities of color”.

The (((media)) conducted weeklong coverage that amounted to the biggest anti-white hatefest I’ve ever seen. It was used to dehumanize all white Americans who don’t hate their race and culture and who still dare to think that we should seal our border and deport illegal aliens.

If the Wal-Mart shooter was Latino and the victims white then we’d we treated to mainstream coverage that is brief, bland and politically neutral. Whites would be lectured that only racists and white nationalist would be angered and offended by the crime. Race never matters when whites are the victims in case you hadn’t noticed.

The interracial crime statistics prove that whites are about eight times more likely to be victims of Latino violent crime than the reverse and the El Paso shooter barely put a dent in that disparity.

Reverse the races and it would be you who would remain stoic while trotting out your age adjusted crime statistics to demonstrate that white outrage is much ado about nothing and that Latinos are nearly as law abiding as the Japanese.

And yet, the Negro who killed 5 Dallas cops is forgotten. The Negro who killed 8 co-workers in Hartford is forgotten. The Negroes who raped, tortured and murdered Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom are barely spoken about. The black fellow who killed 2 cops in Brooklyn is never spoken of. Who remembers Dewayne Craddock, another strong Negro American, who killed 12 of his co-workers in Virginia Beach just a few short months ago?Do you guys still say a mass for Gary Martin(Negro) who killed 5 of his co-workers? And your most (un)famous mass murderer of all, good old black man Colin Ferguson, 6 dead. The media doesn’t report, or dwell on, black mass murderers because that’s not the narrative they want to push.

Don’t forget young Kevin Shifflett who was happily playing in his front yard before a deranged black supremacist walked up to him and cut his throat, killing him. Police later found a letter from the black killer to Louis Farrakhan expressing admiration for him. The story has been memory holed since it first occurred.

Had a white man who supported David Duke murdered a black child we’d still be hearing about it today as an example of white soopremacist tear-err.

  57. Rich says:

You’re joking, right? I remember those names because I do my best to go beyond the media blackout and narrative. I’ll bet there were more news stories about Emmitt Till in the last few years than any about the very recent rape, toture, murder of Channnon Christian and Christopher Newsom by a gang of blacks. Imagine if the races had been reversed? We’d never hear the end of it and leftists would be trying to make it a mandatory course for grade schools, while Colin Kaepernick led you guys on marches to protest his not being a very good QB and making sure you buy only Nike products. Or whatever else that bored millionaire pretends to care about.

The narrative is more important than the truth to the controlled media. Right now your people are benefiting from that. All it takes is a change in the wind and you guys will sincerely regret getting in bed with those degenerates. Call yourself “truth “, but do everything you can to avoid the truth.

please start using your head. God gave it to you for a reason.

And that doesn’t apply to you? If you don’t think there isn’t a regular bias against whites in the reporting of violent interracial encounters, from almost countless MSM sources, you either aren’t very smart or you’re intentionally lying for moral reasons, as people on the left often do. Since you don’t see the 48 hours video you provided as an example of this, there’s another example currently in the news.

In Colorado, white cops recently shot and killed an armed black man in the back has he ran away and seemed to reach in his pants for his gun. (They had reason to believe he had a gun, as he was one of two people who fit the description of perps in a robbery just a few minutes before.) But you have to watch actual raw video to see what actually happened. The ABC report, however, presents the “facts” using a standard ploy: David Muir says the man “at one point had his hands in the air running away…he then was shot.” Not true, but they show a freeze frame of the video with the suspect in a hands slightly raised position, anyway.

This misrepresents the truth to the point of lying. He did not have his hands in the air when he was shot, his hands looked like they were going for the gun in his pants at that time. In fact, the amount of time that he had his hands raised amounts to a fraction of a second (after he was shot)…which is why they freeze framed it. However, even the heavily edited video they present (which stops right at the point of the shooting, but continues the audio, for some strange reason) reveals that the suspect had his hands going towards the waist of his pants…not the normal position that a person keeps their arms at when running full speed. But this is shown later in the news piece, after David Muir tries to insinuate that the suspect was shot while his hands were in the air.

In the full bodycam video, the gun is shown very clearly coming through the bottom of the suspect’s pants when the cops deal with him while he’s on the ground, but of course, ABC doesn’t show that. In fact, ABC only mentions a gun a minute or so into the video, and even then, they only state that the police claim they found a gun…even though the full body cam video makes it pretty clear there was a gun. The news report calls it “an object.” Here’s the full body cam video.

Lot’s of bias in the news.
