The Economist magazine just held a debate across the week June 18th to 25th. Topic: Should people be free to choose the country in which they live?

It’s a straightforward question, using plain English words in proper grammatical order.

But then, you could say the same of: Should New York City abolish all restrictions on parking? Or: Should private ownership of thermonuclear weapons be permitted? Or: Should parents be allowed to kill, cook, and eat their children?

I’d put The Economist’s debate topic in the same category as these other lunacies. It’s nuts. Yet this very respectable journal, The Economist, offers it as a debate topic in all earnestness. Even more incredible, on the final vote, 31 percent of those who followed the debate—total voting number thirteen and a half thousand—31 percent of them nearly one in three, want to abolish national borders. (The others, to the obvious disappointment of The Economist’smoderator Lena Schipper, did not)

Not all readers of The Economist are actually economists. I’m a subscriber myself. It’s just inertia on my part. I grew up in the age of weekly newsmagazines, got hooked on that, and The Economist is the nearest surviving thing that’s still worth reading.

There’s no doubt, though, that the abolition of borders, which is to say the abolition of nations, is taken as a serious position by a lot of professional economists. You may think it’s nuts, and I may think it’s nuts, and the prospect of its being taken up by, say, China, or by, say, India, or by, say Russia, or by, say, Japan is absolutely, utterly, and indisputably zero. But Professors of Economics discuss it earnestly among themselves, with graphs and charts and furrowed brows.

What a bunch of loons! I think Shakespeare’s Dick the Butcher (“The first thing we do, let’s kill all the lawyers”) had a point. He just picked on the wrong profession.

By way of illustration, here’s a three-part story from the Bronx.

Part One. The name here is Lesandro Guzman-Feliz, fifteen years old, hacked to death on the evening of June 20th by a Dominican street gang, the Trinitarios:

Surveillance video from the Cruz and Chiky grocery shows Guzman-Feliz being dragged out of the [store] by his hood.

His five attackers then joined in holding him down and hacking and stabbing him to death, one swinging into him with what appears to be a machete and another jabbing him repeatedly with a smaller knife.

Gang leader ‘sorry’ after innocent teen is butchered in street, By Tina Moore and Georgett Roberts, New York Post, June 24, 2018

It was all a case of mistaken identity. The gangbangers were looking for a different guy they wanted to hack to death.

Young Lesandro seems to have been of good character. The gang has actually apologized to the boy’s family via social media.

Several arrests have been made. Mugshots have been posted in local newspapers, though I advise not looking at them for too long if you’re susceptible to nightmares. [A blow-by-blow breakdown of attack on slain Bronx teen, By Elizabeth Rosner and Max Jaeger, New York Post, June 29, 2018]

There have also been backgrounder stories on the gang:

Like their fiercest rivals, a crew called Dominicans Don’t Play, the Trinitarios recruit heavily in the hardscrabble hallways of city public high schools, and maintain a young membership, averaging in the teens or early 20s, police sources said.[ Inside the gang suspected in Bronx teen’s grisly murder, By Aaron Feis, New York Post, June 25, 2018]

There are around two million Dominicans in the U.S.A. today, of whom half arrived after 1990. The Dominican Republic itself has a population of only ten million.

And yes, it’s a foreign country. We have never been under any obligation at all to grant settlement to any Dominican at all not the spouse or dependent child of a U.S. citizen. I guess someone just thought that mass Dominican immigration was a good idea.

Part Two. The name here is Fernando Levano, 37 years old. Mr. Levano appears to be some variety of Hispanic, most likely Dominican or Puerto Rican, though I can’t find precise details. June 18th he was standing on a street corner in the Bronx when he was sucker-punched by 22-year-old Luis Rivera. [Murder rate has skyrocketed in the Bronx, NYPD says,By Ben Feuerherd and Stephanie Pagones, New York Post, June 26, 2018]

Part Three: The political Establishment in the Bronx got sucker-punched itself Tuesday night. A big piece of the borough, just to the east of where Part One and Part Two took place, is represented in Congress by ten-term machine politician Joe Crowley, ranked fourth-most powerful member of his party—the Democratic Party, of course—in the House of Representatives, and considered a strong contender for Speaker if the Democrats take the House this November.

But the Democrats had a primary, and Joe Crowley lost. Winner in the primary—and therefore the next House member for this district—was 28-year-old Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

Ms. Ocasio-Cortez is of course a Latina, born in the Bronx to Puerto Rican parents. She is also an ardent Leftist. She campaigned on free healthcare, guaranteed federal jobs, the abolition of ICE… the whole nine yards.

NumbersUSA grades Joe Crowley F-minus on recent immigration votes in the House, but that didn’t help him.

It doesn’t exactly make Crowley stand out from the crowd, anyway: 83 percent of Democratic House members are F-minus and another twelve percent plain F.

Well, that’s my three-part reply to the Economist: a grisly gang killing, an exceptionally heartless street assault, and an old-school Irish-American machine pol sent into retirement by a young Latina Bernie Bro, Bernie Sis, whatever.

What do we learn from this, comrades?

What we learn is that if you grant settlement to millions of Latinos and Latinas, you end up with Latino gang culture, Latino street crime, and voters hankering for Latino socialism.

The Open Borders boosters tell us that Latinos are natural conservatives: church-going, family-oriented folk. Give ‘em a generation or two, we’ve been told for decades now, just give ‘em time, they’ll assimilate as good patriotic Americans.

What we in fact see: a big piece of one of our major cities turning into a Caribbean or Central American slum ruled by gangs, whose voters want Cuban- or Venezuelan-style socialism.

Richard Weaver famously said that Ideas Have Consequences. Well, immigration has consequences too. You could even show it on graphs and charts—if you wanted to.

  1. The Open Borders boosters tell us that Latinos are natural conservatives: church-going, family-oriented folk.

I don’t doubt any of this, having just watched a few of their ancestors in a movie. It’s just that, by “church-going”, they mean stone-temple-with_130,000 skulls-on-display-going, and by “family-oriented” they mean that families do not get separated during human sacrificial events. “The family whose hearts get ripped out of their bodies together stays together” or something close to that, is what you always hear.

I really gotta stop watching movies like Apocalypto late at night like this.

  3. Should people be free to choose the country in which they live?

As I wrote on another thread, it’s just Socialism writ large. Up to now, it’s just been, “yeah, we haven’t made much of our lives, you know, with our goofing off and all, but you still have to share your nice stuff with us.”

Now, they want this on a global scale: “Yeah, we haven’t made much of our country, but you still have to share your nice country with us.”

Ever get told as a child that it’s nice to share? “Sure”, I remember thinking, but I damn well shouldn’t HAVE TO share! Most kids in kindergarten inherently understand this. It’s got to be beat out of them by 17 more years of schooling.

An omission by the Economist: Note that the borders of the sh*thole-nations are as immutable as ever. No one cares about those borders. Only the borders of U.S. and European nations are passe’ and thus to be categorized as such by the Economist and the similarly high-minded.

Interesting also that Derb features Dominicans so prominently in this piece. Not that anyone anywhere ever dares ask, but I wonder what the Dominican Republic reaction would be to dissolution of the sole border on that island it shares with Haiti. Less than enthusiastic, I’d guess.

  6. Daniel H says:

Mark these words. Within months there will be calls from NY Dominicans that we should go easy on the “youths”, that they should not serve serious jail time, especially not all eight, that they have been forgiven by the victim’s parents, that in any case, whitey is to blame.

Look, women always want open borders, particularly when the incoming cultures are more masculine than the domestic one.

When women have had almost a century of voting rights, they vote in this direction.

Since race nationalism is, first and foremost, a woman-worshipping ideology, the low-ranking men who join these ideologies never hold women accountable.

Hence, a massive influx of foreigners is unavoidable.

    I’m still against it, on principle… but…

  11. Should those unwilling or incapable of building up their own country be allowed to go to countries who succeeded in getting out of poverty ?
See how South Africa is deteriorating under black rule.

I know that some of you don’t want to hear it, but single-payer and full-employment are a winning political ticket. If the alt-right is truly alt, and not just a bunch of cucks with tiki torches, then they need to ditch the Koch Brothers’ tax-cuts-for-the-rich economic program and focus more on a pro-working-class, pro-middle-class agenda. If not, then a significant percentage of your MAGA people in the Rustbelt are going to abandon them. Remember: Bernie beat Hillary in most of those states, and even Obama (who ran to the left in 2008) won most of them, too. Once the immigration issue reaches a certain tipping point where there’s no going back, a lot of whites who have nothing further to lose are going to say ‘f*ck it’ and focus their attention on bread-and-butter issues instead of culture-war stuff.

Thank god I live in a country that doesn’t have equal rights. Only the indigenous people are allowed to own its land, and resources, and I’m not indigenous at all. I’m at a disadvantage, but I don’t mind, because it simply keeps the peace.

Per-capita the U.S. spend more on social spending than Venezuela – especially if you include infrastructure – yes the U.S. is crumbling for sure, but Venezuela is far worse.

“Should people be free to choose the country in which they live?”

Most white people are already in the countries they’d choose to live in, i.e. their own. It would be irrelevant to Scandinavians if Nigeria decided to open its borders. The “freedom to choose” would only apply to the 90 per cent of the world’s population that are non-white. In general, this wouldn’t even benefit non-whites in the long run. Africa could easily disgorge 200m people into Europe, destroying the host countries. But Africa would still be Africa, with a billion people left.

But I kind of agree with what you’ve said. At some point bread-and-butter issues will have to be addressed.

Medical care is a huge one. Costs cannot continue to increase as they have over the past half century.

This current system is utterly broken. You can see how it evolved based on lobbying and the interests of Doctors and Insurance companies. But the Doctors don’t seem very happy these days.

There’s not going to be a perfect solution.

But regardless of single payer coming about, or total de-regulation of the health industry someone is going to have to take on some very powerful, well funded Insurance companies. And I think Immigration will be an easier fight.

My guess is 20 years from now, most people will go to a “Doc-In-The-Box” kind of thing, where a PA sees patients, sets bones and puts a cast on Junior’s arm, and says about your funky mole “Uh that looks weird. I’m sending you to a real doctor.”

This is known only too well by the people like myself who have seen their communities transformed into third world cesspools, although these real effects of illegal invasion will of course never be reported by the (((media))). The local populace has seen their property values plummet after having spent their lives working back-breaking low-paid jobs to pay off modest houses. Now they have no equity left and find themselves living in an American Juarez. The only reason I can see for anyone encouraging this kind of transformation in America is to destroy America itself. Yes, Haiti, where the ruler class 10% whites, who ran it, provided jobs and food etc. For the other 90% negro like island dwellers class…Then when that 10% whiteys saw how swell liberalism looked back on mainland Europe, especially in France. The 10% white Haitians said “Gee we Must make everybody on island 100% Equal!….So lets allow the 90% low IQ worthless dweller class the right to Vote!”…..Then as soon as able to now vote, darkies voted For fellow darkies to Replace white rulers

Soon, once enough white rulers were replaced by darkie class elected officials, them darkies said…Lets us all have another vote, and this vote shall determine if we darkies can find it okay and good for all whites to be mass murdered…..Once votes were tallied, and dark vote was YES Murder All Whiteys on entire island!…..The exact same Dark-Opps as done later in Detroit happened..Only besides stealing all not welded down tight, and wrecking and torching every possible thing that will burn….The Haitian dark race mass murdered all whites and killed off every island employer, food grower/provider. And now had huge egos from being the only race and only rulers of all of Haiti!

Fast Fwd, 200 years or so….And see how entire 200 or so years that passed since mass murders of islands white ruler class has “evolved” into great example of a 99.99% Darkie coloreds class island owners and rulers and dwellers has been. A total melt down and one of if not the worst place to live for darkie coloreds in entire world. Zimb bob wee, only a bit smaller eh.

  44. There are fools, there are scoundrels, there are liars, and their are economists.

I used to occasionally read this bilge rag (for free at library, wouldn’t dream of throwing away my money on trash) some decades back. Whenever this grand fount of economic wisdom would start writing articles praising such and such country for doing so well with its “reforms”, “free markets” or similar propagandist nonsense that country would start tanking a few months later.

Theoretical economists at universities are clever in the way that performing monkeys are clever. These poor souls understand nothing about the real world even though they purport to model the real economy. The real believers amongst them are like the monks and mullahs, fanatical about their brand of economic nonsense. Then there are those who ply their trade as opportunists: they are probably the brightest and the most practical of their profession. They help their political bosses and lobby groups achieve whatever nefarious ends those bosses are pursuing.

The Economist created its brand USP by combining all three flavors of the economist’s craft. Why intelligent people would waste their money on propaganda and nonsense is beyond me.

The early history of the United States is not a history of immigration. The eastern US was colonized, primarily by England. If you go far enough south, you’ll run into Spanish colonists; far enough north, you’ll run into French colonists.

The Pilgrims did not try to fit into Wampanoag society, they did not all try to speak their language, they did not seek justice in their councils. 53. These people who demand open borders, what are they really thinking?

We know they cannot be mistaking this ludicrous idea for reality, for a moment’s reflection would suffice to demonstrate that every living unity (i.e. individual animal-forms) and quasi-living unity (i.e nations, cultures, companies etc.) has a boundary, a border, which is identical with its existence. The very fact of being a microcosm within a macrocosm basically boils down to an I-thou distinction. It is not that these living unities simply “happen to have” boundaries that may be dispensed with, still less that their boundaries are some form of impediment that should be actively removed; rather, they only exist by virtue of their boundaries. To remove the border is to destroy the creature. A world without borders would be a world of nothingness. Such a world could never exist, of course. Even if, per impossibile, you were to erase every national border tomorrow morning, the ensuing chaos would only result in the emergence of chieftains who would reestablish borders on their own terms. These are basic metaphysical facts which brook no opposition and to which history can show no contrary. It is madness to deny them, or even to hold any belief which would deny them by implication, so what is really going on here?

“Decadence,” comes the usual answer. “The people of the Western Nations are losing their will to live. Modern life in all its forms conduces to a radical nullity. Feminism in particular, and along with it the empowerment of women, is especially pernicious. Women love chaos and the manly men who emerge in its wake, so they are driven by inscrutable forces to do everything they can to tear down the existing order. Western women are having one gigantic FU party right now, rebelling against the world of wimpy White men and welcoming foreigners with open legs.” We’ve all heard this a million times, but let’s leave it aside for the moment.

The whole idea of “women gone wild” can be discussed under the general headings of self-seeking, hedonism, and concupiscence. Whether people are enticed by libertarian visions of an abundant future, or by mere personal opportunism, or by the promise of fantastic sex with exotic bodies, flavorful foods, colorful clothes, carnivals in the city square or what have you, it all reduces to the basic notion that the loosening of all boundaries would result in a never-ending eschaton of Dionysiac ecstacy. Is this what motivates the border-droppers? For many it is undoubtedly part of the appeal, but it cannot be the whole explanation. Dionysianism wears off after awhile; the revelers eventually get satiated and go home. Had this been a mere outburst of bacchanalia, it would have run its course before the decades required for it to become national policy had elapsed.

A clue is obtained by the militant manner in which the border-droppers agitate relentlessly for their position. It is clear that they experience a jolt of self-righteous sentimentality when doing so. They enjoy wielding the power they believe themselves to have, intimidating and attacking others, taking over institutions, and shutting down the opposition. Many are simply pirates who love the thrill of a raid, of despoiling and possessing. But the exercise of power requires power. Whence cometh the basis of that power? How did these people, who for the most part have never been meaningfully opposed or tested, find themselves on “the right side of history”?

The profession of their beliefs in certain circles will win them the adulation of crowds, and that is one basis of their power;—this is the much-discussed “virtue-signalling.” By why should just these beliefs be recognized as virtuous, if the same cannot be fully explained by the reasons already discussed? It is because it is in the nature of power to strive to make itself unassailable, and it is only the profession of these beliefs that afford the speaker the mantle of unassailable power. And why is such power unassailable? Because it has behind it the force of law. Those who take action against it will be treated by the state as criminals. And why does the state do so? Because that is the path of least resistance, and the shortest route for it to maintain its power. The will to oppose the border-droppers, rooted in the soundest metaphysical realities as discussed before, is far too sane and sober a thing to be countenanced by anyone whose basis is not similarly constituted. It is itself the mark of incipient statehood, of incipient manhood, and the pretentious power will not tolerate that. A thousand brigands will roam free and the lone vigilante will be punished. How could it not be so? Is that not a much more “efficient” way of keeping the peace?

It may seem paradoxical to say so, but the power of Leviathan protects the lawbreaker from meeting with his comeuppance. Were it not for the intrusive and almighty bureaucratic state, all these petty criminals and immigrants would long ago have been taken care of by natural justice. Their existence, profitless in itself, is subsidized by the system. Although it may be out of place on an Alt-Right blog to agree with the old guard conservatism about anything, the one common factor in all of the social dysfunctions that beset us—in immigration, feminism, identity politics, welfare, and so on—is the size of the federal budget. The problem is Uncle Sugar.

Without the federal government subsidizing everything, there would be no largess wherewith organized Leftist agitation could fund itself. There would be no gimmigrants without gimmies, no welfare moms without welfare. The lobbyists would have to fold up and go home. The trillion-dollar education fraud would no longer be a breeding ground for cultural marxists. While we can never completely rid the world of these evils, we should at least make every effort not to subsidize them. We must force the Leftists to fight on honest terms, because right now we’re fighting a battle we can’t win

I am therefore driven to the conclusion that the correct course of action is to weaken the size, scope, and budgetary authority of the federal government. The final liquidation of the bureaucratic morass created by FDR is long overdue, and until that is accomplished we will never be positioned for victory.

True, a lot of Mestizos are dependent on government aid. But cutting the federal budget wouldn’t solve the entire immigration problem. You have to realize how awful most non-white countries are to see how attractive the US is. There are people who would gladly immigrate even if they faced the prospect of living by working illegally for $5 an hour, panhandling, or scavenging in rubbish tips. As for education, many of them would be happy to do without it and continue the traditions of illiteracy and ignorance they brought from their own countries.

Many leftist organisations are funded by private “philanthropists” rather than the federal budget. And governments can certainly stop that if they have the will to do so.

When ticket are priced high only children of wealthy families have the resources to afford their children instructional access. the persons you deny have been denied all of their lives.

Conservatives are idiots and losers which is why I’m not one.

Let’s explore the moronic idea that Hispanics are conservative.

1 Anti Abortion a big conservative issue and the major major Catholic and Evangelical stand against liberalism
Hispanics have the second highest rate of abortion

    2. Welfare Hispanics have a very high rate of welfare dependency

3 Teen pregnancy Hispanics have the highest rate of unmarried teen pregnancy

    4. Marriage Conservatives think legal marriage is the best way to live, prosper raise a family and be happy

Hispanic immigrants and their children have very low rates of marriage although this is probably for economic reasons. The woman and children are on welfare while the man works. Since they are not married, she gets the single mom and kids welfare.

    5. Hard working macho men. That’s true, but their wages don’t go to support them or their families. They live in their common law wives section 8 or projects, eat off the woman and kids food stamps. Their wages go for transportation toys and part of the 20 billion the Hispanic immigrants send to Mexico every year. The remittances sent by Mexicans in the US is the largest source of Mexican foreign currency, larger than oil or food exports

    6. Religion conservatives approve of religion. Hispanics do go to Catholic Church occasionally. The are regular at Evangelical church. Almost all their children are baptized. But they ignore the religious values of sexual chastity. Not getting pregnant or having sex till marriage , marriage, and following the commandants against murder and theft and obeying the laws .

    7. Conservatives are anti crime. Hispanic immigrants their children and grand children have very high crime rates. Some California Hispanic farm towns have higher crime rates than Los Angeles. Salinas for instance is Mexican gang headquarters of the state of California and has been since the 1960s

I read an 1896 version of the Protocols of Zion back before the internet. It was in a locked room if forbidden books in a university library

I had to apply and make an appointment. I had to show Dr license and proof of current address. License no and address were recorded.

Protocol # 4 was affirmative action.
“ We shall see to it my brothers, that the enemy Goyim appoint none but the unfit and incompetent to their government positions. And thus we shall conquer from within”

Like school desegregation, affirmative action, especially Nixon’s EEOC and the lawsuits is largely a Jewish war against the White Goyim

Another thing is the absolute hatred directed against the White Goyim

check the diatribes by Luther, Calvin, Knox and others against Catholics and Catholic responses during the reformation.

Check out Oliver Cromwell’s massacring about 100,000 Irish selling another 250,000 into slavery in the Americas and. Obfuscating their property without compensation and distributing it to English invaders

Check out French revolutionary diatribes against non revolutionaries from aristocrats to peasant farmers The French revolutionaries nurdered about 300,000 during the revolution and the attempted Vendeen and Lyonaise exterminations

We are all familiar with the Jews communist Russians did to the Goyim and Christianity. We know what Jews did in Eastern Europe after both WWs 1&2. I remember how when American Poles, Hungarians Czechs has demonstrations about the Soviet occupation of their lands accused them of being Facists and Nazi collaborators.

A superficial knowledge of how people are destroyed by endless preaching of hated against them and affirmative action restricting their ability to earn a living leads to their destruction

I don’t think the Jews will be able to destroy us the way the dis the Kulacs of the Soviet Union

I think we’ll be more like the Catholic Irish, hated, property confiscated, not being able to work in many occupations.
But we won’t have America and Australia to escape to.

On the other hand, the mostly Jewish Weather u set ground thought they would have to kill 25 million of us to effect their revolution

And many prominent Jews have advocated the eradication of Whites.

Putative immigration restrictionists and white advocates and race-realists who embrace the “men’s movement” don’t understand that MRAs are overwhelmingly left-liberals and race-denialists who portray men and boys of all races as the victims of “misandry” and anti-male “sexism” and discrimination. They don’t speak for white males, exclusively or predominantly, but for men and boys of all races. The hate women generally, women of all races, but their misogyny is directed almost exclusively toward white females. “Crime” isn’t a seamless garment. There are different kinds. Italians and Chinese had very low violent crime rates in their neighborhoods, but were the champions of organized crime. Did that enrich us?

Likewise, common street crime went down during Prohibition, but the more spectacular organized activity of gangsters filled the newsreels.

Yes, women are entirely to blame for “open borders” and massive Third-World immigration,

Yes, women vote in favor of this. Heartiste has explained why this is at great length.

along with other MRAs, the misogynist lunatics of the soi-disant “men movement.”

The anti-misandry movement is *much* more intelligent than the White Trashionalist movement. You see, crude ‘muh tribe, muh tribe’ thought is no more advanced that what pre-historic humans did, and you obviously have not evolved past that (which is also why WNs are often called ‘wiggers’).

On the other hand, it is obvious that men built civilization, and female suffrage has caused socialism and other forms of leftism in the West. To overcome one’s primitive hardwiring to advance to a level where misandry is seen for what it is, is far more enlightened.

But no, women are not primarily to blame, as woman-worshipping incels like you are the ones who give them the power they didn’t request in the first place.

There is a reason that the White Trashionalist movement is 99% male, and those men are always either incel ne’er do wells or homosexuals. White Trashionalists usually have IQs in the 70 range, which is why they don’t have the self-awareness to see this.

I realize the answer to my rhetorical question would probably be to “completely change/re-rig the system to the benefit of blacks and browns”

But given there is at least some upward mobility of some Hispanics and Blacks, I’ve wondered why one tactic, even on the small micro-level (almost like white communes) white couples have not essentially decided to get in on the same system. White women, going on welfare with white babies, with white “well, we are basically married” boyfriends that live in their section 8 housing, getting food stamps, etc.

They could basically do this under the radar and let the rich Catholic and Jews pay for it in these exburb and suburban areas around the country–and have 3-6 babies each. They could be that “oh, we just haven’t found any good work” couple that leeches off the system–especially because, while it is true very few blacks (mainly only govt workers) would be paying for it–the liberal whites absolutely would be paying for it. And you can homeschool to raise your kids outside the indoc.

    Seems doable.

“Women” have very little to do with open borders immigration policies. Mostly, because they’re generally apolitical and care little for anything other than the day-to-day drama of their personal lives.

Most of the pro-migration boosting comes from real estate speculators, construction contractors, growers, meat packers, software companies, restauranters, financiers, and other types of business interests.

Contrary to what you’ll read on WN sites, most migrants aren’t welfare users who sit around unemployed. Most of the migrants work (often in the informal economy) and consume, producing huge amounts of wealth. The wealth is then mostly appropriated by oligarchs, who then kick back some of their financial gains (in the form of political donations, lobbyist jobs, and insider trading tips) to the political class.

There used to be significant opposition to immigration from the anti-capitalist left and anti-immigrant right. In the early 20th century, labor unions played a huge role in advocating for immigration restrictionism, as did ethnic paramilitary groups like the KKK. The unions actually continued to be very influential in America up through the late 70s.

However, over the last 35-40 years, the unions and other elements of the anti-capitalist left have been utterly decimated by the oligarchs and can no longer reign in business interests. The anti-immigrant right (which went out of fashion back in the 60s) is a neutralized force too, mostly due to the media&political influence of Jewish anti-racism activists.

So there’s no one left to say “NO!” to mass scale immigration. This is why oligarchs can so easily flood the country with foreigners, while the politicians implore us to “celebrate diversity.”

When the Libertarians call for open borders, they’re actually thinking about the economic model in place in the Gulf Arab oil states. In those states, it’s easy to recruit huge numbers of foreign laborers, but the laborers aren’t given permanent residence or welfare benefits. These foreign laborers are essentially a huge helot class.

Libertarians want that in America. Mostly because Libertarians are on the payroll of oligarchs like the Koch brothers.

Tom Delay praised Saipan’s open borders migration policies back in the late 90s. This praise had nothing to do with “white guilt,” “white empathy,” “white altruism,” or “cuckery.”

Political innumeracy is not unique to the Alt-Right …

Too true … too true … and innumeracy does not stop South of the Border either, mi amigo. It’s amazing that people that think of themselves as numerate can pull a number of 12,000,000 people (not 10 million, not 15 million) out of their asses when the number of “reported” illegal alien Hispanics was said to be 11,000,000 in 2001. By definition, even a +/- 25 % estimate cannot be guaranteed, as people with fake ID’s and no ID’s and similar foreign looks are hard to, like “IDentify”. Yet, the difference in population in the 17 years has been noticeable by almost all Americans since then. Seriously numerate people, such as engineers, know HOW WELL THEY KNOW A NUMBER – it’s called a tolerance.

That aside, all the numeracy in the world can’t make up for lack of common sense. It has been noted by most of us that the cop giving out 30 $250/4-point tickets each day on the interstate has slowed down many more than 30 cars. That makes us understand that deportation of even a small number, say 10 %, of the 25,000,000 illegal aliens (# pulled out of MY ass) done in a serious determined way could make the other 90% vamoose in a more relaxed manner. Lots of us can understand that such a process can run a few years, on an accelerating schedule due to something called the “learning curve”.

In the blogging world, putting out poorly thought-out comments and refusing to read the common-sense replies is not the way to stay on that “learning curve”.

Salinas for instance is Mexican gang headquarters of the state of California and has been since the 1960s

Actually, this really isn’t correct. I’ve extensively analyzed the data over the years, and Hispanic crime rates are approximately the same as those for whites of a similar age and gender. Here’s a link to my very detailed article of a few years back:

    http://www.unz.com/runz/the-myth-of-hispanic-crime/

Just as a very simple data-point, the last time I checked a few years ago, serious crime rates in LA (including the “gold standard” of homicide) had dropped back down to approximately what they had been in the early 1960s. Today, LA is 50% Hispanic and back then LA was almost entirely white. How could this be possible if Hispanics had a very high crime rate relative to whites?

But a bigger problem is flooding poor countries with rich aliens. Currently many countries restrict citizenship n land ownership to those who can prove racial ancestry. These include most African countries, Papua New Guinea, n I’m sure many more around the globe that I am not familiar with.

These countries jealously guard their right to preserve their separate racial identities, partly due to ethnic pride but partly due also to fear of being swamped by rich foreigners who could buy large swathes of land n reconstitute a colonial government if their borders were to disappear. South Africa is in the process of joining the list of such countries by genociding its whites right now. Apparently the open borders of the 19c were an experiment that black south Africans want to end. Just as the “open borders” of 1919 Turkey, which led eventually to the establishment of Israel, was an experiment that the Arab world would like to terminate.

Then there is the problem in South Africa with illegal immigration from Mozambique. And Columbia’s problem with Venezuelan migrants. And Burma’s rejection of Rakhine Muslim migrants. And how many countries would survive if China were allowed to unload its excess population? The list is endless. Open borders, insofar as this implies the free transfer of economic migrants, would be more than inconvenient for poor countries, it would be a catastrophe that would unleash huge wars, massacres, n end with a new era of colonialism n foreign domination. Migrants don’t just go in one direction. They go north, south, up, down, n sideways.

I lived in LA for many years (quite a few in the barrio) — and even in the mid-’70s, when LA County had a population of about 7.5 – 8 million — there were more than 2.5 million illegal alien mexicans. At that time, the mexican gangs had the LAPD severely outgunned — and LAPD admitted it — because the mexicans had broken into and robbed National Guard armories at every opportunity. When that wasn’t enough, they invented the crash-smash-and grab of ramming a large pickup into the side wall of a gun shop and then stealing all of the guns. That went on for years and years … not much gun store owners could do about it — even with bollards and such.

Don’t forget, too, that b h o (our first half-breed White House occupant) strongly encouraged prosecutors across the United States to downplay crimes by illegal aliens so that they wouldn’t be subject to deportation — and, in left-leaning cities like LA, SFO, SEA, NYC and so on, those prosecutors were all-too-eager to comply.

I imagine that not a lot of that crime in the 60s was comitted in white neighborhoods compared to the black and Hispanic neighborhoods. Back when LA was mostly white the high crime rate probably had a lot to do with South Central LA, East Los Angeles, Boyle Heights, and the Rampart District). What would the LA crime rate be if you took that out? If, as you say, the crime rate is almost what it was, whites in LA are generally elderly and their crime rate is near zero so the Hispanics must be picking up the slack. That would mean their crime rate is at least twice what it was for the whites back then given that they are comitting almost all the crime but are only half the population. Obviously, you have to factor in the black contribution and that makes it somewhat difficult since violent Hispanic gangs have pushed a lot of blacks out of South Central.

That’s exactly why I pointed to homicide as the “gold standard” for crime rates. The reporting is far more reliable. In any event, the supposed 7% under-reporting of LA violent crime has absolutely no impact on my argument, given that I was using the word “approximately.” Here’s a link to one of numerous news stories you can easily find describing these longer-term trends:

    https://www.scpr.org/news/2014/01/13/41574/lapd-crime-in-los-angeles-down-for-the-11th-straig/

As for the demographics, even if we include Iranians and other Middle Easterners, LA is less than 30% white these days, so white crime rates have little impact one way or another.

The simple point is that LA was 80% white in 1950 and 70% white in 1960, while today it’s 50% Hispanic. Maybe Hispanics have a *somewhat* higher crime rate than whites of the same age—who knows? But if the LA crimes rates today are roughly the same as they were in the 1950s and early 1960s, it’s simply impossible for Hispanics to have *much* higher crime rates.

Anyway, LA is just one city. Among other things, I performed twenty-five separate years of ethnicity/crime correlations across all the major crime categories and all the major urban centers in America, and the almost inescapable conclusion was that Hispanics and whites had *approximately* the same crime rates.

I also remember how things got worse as you drove on Whittier Blvd as you passed from Whittier to Pico Rivera to Montebello to East Los Angeles. There was a correlation that everybody in LA seemed to know about.

You lived in the Valley. Surely you knew that Pacoima was a hole. When I moved out here from Whittier, I took a wrong turn on Foothill Blvd and ended up in Pacoima (in what could be considered the nice part). All the houses had bars on the windows.

I also know that the statistics are garbage today since property crime isn’t even bothered with by the police. They don’t even come out to make a report unless somebody is injured. They tell you to come to the station and fill out a report or they send a non-policeman at their convenience so you might as well not bother since they aren’t going to do anything about it.

If what you saw were true then the crime rate in Encino would be the same as for Pacoima and it isn’t.

You also have to include nuisance crime of which Hispanics are quite involved. When I was a kid there were no grafitti crews working the streets. Now, every town in LA County seems to have one.

The Dominican Republic itself, like the US, shares its landmass with another country whose inhabitants are generally poorer, of a different race, and speak a different language. Are there a lot of those people who want to cross the border? How does the Dominican deal with them?

When the Libertarians call for open borders, they’re actually thinking about the economic model in place in the Gulf Arab oil states. In those states, it’s easy to recruit huge numbers of foreign laborers, but the laborers aren’t given permanent residence or welfare benefits. These foreign laborers are essentially a huge helot class.

Libertarians want that in America. Mostly because Libertarians are on the payroll of oligarchs like the Koch brothers.

Exactamundo. What’s sad is how much mindspace these oligarch-fellating cretins have captured among normal voters, who have practically no interests in common with globalist pond scum like the Kochs.

  143. Svigor says:
    @Alfa158

Alt-right doesn’t exactly have a consensus on the economic issues. They’re all over the place. It’s a dissident movement, so there’s a distinct catch-all flavor on economics.

I’m not doctrinaire; I’m more about identifying problems than adhering to narrowly-tailored solutions.

E.g., the Kochs are a problem. I’d be fine with taxing them to death, or seizing their assets and deporting them, or prohibiting them from spending money on politics, etc., so long as they’re neutralized. I’m pro 1st Amendment, but the nation has to come before ideals, and the oligarch class needs to be politically neutered.

But yes, I’m fine with progressive taxation, because the higher up the ladder you go, the more of a person’s income is disposable and has nothing to do with not just subsistence, but with even a wealthy lifestyle. Flat taxes are an oligarch’s wet dream. That said, I’d like to see tax rates dropped substantially, across the board. Let a man keep what he earns. Find ways to fund gov’t that don’t punish earners and savers. Jack up consumption taxes, or something. And obviously, pare gov’t way back.

  144. @Ron Unz

In your estimation, what % of criminals arrested that are true ethnic “Hispanics” aka Mexicans, Central/South Americans, and or Caribbeans, are wrongly classified as white or Caucasian?

Secondly, in your estimation, how much violent crime goes unreported in the Hispanic community due to fears of deportation, general distrust of the gringo, and or gang related beefs? Do you believe this estimate is statistically similar to under reported violent crime among whites?

  145. KenH says:
    @MarkinLA

If I recall Ron Unz used some cities with large and violent black populations, like Indianapolis and Columbus, OH, to compare against majority Hispanic cities and “prove” that whites and Hispanics have roughly the same crime rates. But the black crime rates are spiking the overall homicide and violent crime rates for those cities and painting an inaccurate picture.

Unz would need to extract the black crime rates from all of the cities then re-compare and to my knowledge that has not been done. Or include a margin of error to account for the black crime rates in majority white cities.

Then on a circumstantial basis I wonder if majority Hispanic cities meticulously document crime as well as majority white cities do and if crimes are being reclassified to appear crime is on the wane or at average levels.

    CLASSIFYING FILIPINOS

Filipinos are in now way “Pacific Islander” because Polynesians never migrated to the Philippines-it was settled first by New Guinea people and then Indonesians (Who build the rice terraces in Luzon) and finally by Malaysians who primarily settled Central and South Philippines-to this day the linguistic and cultural differences are a result of these separate origins between Tagalog and other.

    MIXED BLOOD

    - RULING ELITE

The Spanish-Mestizos comprise the tiny politically-influential and land-rich ruling elite. Known as mestizos.

    -MIDDLE CLASS

    - Average middle-class Filipino is about 12% Spanish. Another words the equivalent to one great-grandparent who was usually a friar or soldier or administrator or trader who left his local property to his Filipino mistress along with his name.

To some degree, the Chinese intermarried with the Spanish. The roots of the Spanish are in Galicia, they have names like Garcia and Castro.

Mexicans also immigrated as Philippines was administered via Mexico through the galleon and the average Filipino has something like 2% Aztec blood from the odd Mexican priest or trader who intermarried. There are some Aztec loan words in the dialect.

    LOWER CLASS

These are pure Filipino known as “Malays”. They are often squatters. Like Mexico, you generally judge a person’s poverty by the degree to which they are pure indigenous.

    CHINESE

Amy Chau and other racist Chinese-Filipinos will argue they are pure Chinese. They are not. They are Mestizos. But this demonstrates the contempt that “Chinoys” have for the Filipinos. They are completely separate and racist as Chinese will be to other groups-same thing is gradually happening in Australia-and own the economy to about 90%. Of Fuji descent.

I lived in the Philippines for business-hated the place and know it well.

Try and understand why we have a problem with this, even as we agree with your (rather narrowly-selected) facts: they are in the West, they have massive influence over the US gov’t and Big Media, and they form the vanguard of the movement opposing countries for us. They’re working to give our countries and capitals away to the other. I give them demerits for doing a good job of attacking us. If they stopped, we might be able to do for ourselves in the West what they’ve done for themselves in Israel (they’ve certainly made the job a lot harder for us already, even if they retired from politics today).

    FILIPINOS LOOK “HISPANIC”

The average Filipino has 8-12% Spanish blood (Varies, with more in Cebu where Magellan first landed and Spanish colonization began) and 2-5% Aztec genes as a result of administration through Mexico.

The ruling elite of Philippines are 50-100% Spanish. These are the descendants of the Spanish “Hacienderos”.

Read the original Unz article. He was limiting his analysis to Mestizo Hispanics. He didn’t include Black and/or Mulatto Hispanics (eg Dominicans), and noted the later have much higher crime rates. In other articles, Unz is very straightforward re Black crime.

It does make sense that Mestizos, being half (essentially) Mongol, would have comparable violent crime rates to Whites even at a slightly lower average IQ. Obviously there are other factors, like a large black market for illegal drugs that can create violent ethnic gangs of any race. But ethnic gangs aside, Unz’s analysis is consistent with my real world observations.

Of course, there are plenty of other problems associated with flooding our country with tens of millions of under-achieving, albeit nice and agreeable, Mestizos. But that’s another topic.

  160. @DB Cooper

Isn’t he half White? If you Google image the indigenous Mexican Indians, it’s clear they could almost pass for SE Asian. So it’s essentially the same mix: half White; half Brown Mongol.

But I believe SE Asians are quite a bit smarter than the indigenous Mexican Indians. So a half White, half SE Asian population would look “Mexican” but their average IQ would barely fall below the White average.

  161. @Anonymous Jew

He’s half-white and half-Filipino. He does look Mexican. He has assimilated to his white side. But, most Asians don’t. Asians are a second tier race. Caucasians are first.

    • Replies: @Jeff Stryker
  162. @Svigor

Again, this is the fault of the Caucasian Christians. Since Christianity is a universal faith, this is the problem. As I have consistently stated, we need to define what the West is not. It is not black/Asian/Jewish/Muslim. That leaves Caucasians/Christians/pagans. Any movement must start from this base. The biggest problems are caused by the RCC and Zioevangizers. This is why Caucasians must leave the RCC. Black/Asian priests-popes are not acceptable. Zioevanzigers must have their incredibly stupid theology attacked. Until these two evil institutions are dealt with, we will continue to be plagued by problems. Once we break up these institutions, our actions and laws will follow. Jews would have their citizenship stripped from Western nations. Blacks would be segregated. Asians would have to go back to Asia. Israel is a Jewish state and diaspora Jews cannot complain that they have no homeland. A Jew will just be a Jew – not German Jew, American Jew, etc.

The other point to bring up is the IQ issue. Racial differences are very noticeable. Christianity does not work for blacks/Asians. They must have their own churches.

You mention the media. What, Westerners cannot produce their media companies that are only for the West? It is the universal brotherhood/church evil belief that lets the cucks get away with their cowardliness. Collapse universal brotherhood/church and we will have a new beginning in the West.

Philips is a “Pil-Am”, a term meaning Filipino-American. His father was an American of Scots-English descent and his mother was a Chinese-Filipino.

Aztec Mestizos possess more Caucasian blood than Filipinos, but it is not 50%. I’d say those Mexicans with 50% or more Spanish blood live in Mexico and have no economic reason to come North. The Mexicans coming North into the United States today are more or less pure Indian.

My sense – based on data, studies, personal observation, and, yes, your analysis – is roughly 1.5x the white rate once the various larger variables (e.g. age and sex) are controlled.

Also, there appears to be considerable variance among Hispanics based on race, ancestral origin, region, etc.

    On a side note:

Northwestern Europeans: low crime in Europe, low crime in America.
Northeast Asians: low crime in Asia, low crime in America.

Thanks to the drug wars there related to turf battles and the lack of a state-driven pruning program (i.e. a fairly prompt soup-to-nuts program of executing murderous drug kingpins by the thousands per year), Latin America is experiencing the equivalent of a rolling civil war. So the crime numbers there really ought to be compared to civil war figures, not those of nations at peace. Simply restoring the death penalty for murder in Latin America would probably have a salutary effect on crime rates.

Latin America is experiencing the equivalent of a rolling civil war. So the crime numbers there really ought to be compared to civil war figures, not those of nations at peace.

Even countries with actual civil wars – e.g. Iraq and Afghanistan – have roughly 6-10 homicides per 100,000 people. Brazil, Colombia, and Venezuela have 30, 26, and 56 (!) per 100,000, respectively. It appears that Latin Americans do particularly badly when central authority degrades.

They seem to do much better in highly militarized and/or authoritarian countries with a history of free helicopter rides and dives into the ocean for dissenters. The thing is, I don’t want the U.S. to turn into one of those to keep crime numbers low. I want people who are orderly without government oversight – you know, civilized people.

    “Iraq’s 8.0″

Really? At least around 8000 civilians were killed in the Mosul offensive alone, which occupied less than a year, while Iraq’s population is around 40,000,000. That’s 8 per 40,000, not 100,000 (=20/100K).

Was the much lower rate due to the war being on a lower key in previous years, and the more recent larger-scale battles being relatively anomalous? Or are battle- and siege-related deaths not counted as homicides?

Battle-related deaths are not included in the numbers in general as the numbers are supposed to be “intentional homicide” in non-military context.
