From the Tampa Bay Times:

‘Disgusting’: Swastikas painted on Philip Levine’s campaign signs in St. Pete

“As Governor, I will never be held hostage to hatred, or bigotry, or intolerance,” Levine said in a statement.

Ever since Trump’s election, the Fanatical (But Dyslexic) Nazi Menace has been stalking our fair land, and now it’s out of control.

Seriously, what percentage of readers will never dream that this could be another hate hoax, because who would be so outre as to even mention the conceptual possibility, much less the words “hate hoax?”

  5. Wow, those are bad. I would probably be called “alt-right” by significant portion of America (though I don’t consider myself that) yet I can’t off the top of my head remember which direction the swastika goes. Or does it even go in a specific direction?

Also, every American flag has two sides – on one side, the stars are on the left, on the other side, the right. To me, the flag doesn’t look correct with the stars on the right. But is there an actual “correct” side of the flag? I don’t know.

The Nazi swatstika is clockwise--i.e. the arms stick out from the spokes in a clockwise direction or if it was a pump it would pump water clockwise. So the kid or paid-agent didn't even get that right.

The symbol has been around essentially forever--it shows up in artifacts from pretty much the dawn of the neolithic. Ancient Aryans i believe used it both ways. as do modern Hindus. In the West, i think it was generally presented clockwise, though you sometimes see some old architectural decoration that has it the other way. Certainly it's use a good luck charm was the clockwise style. To the Western eye--at least mine--that's the better and more dynamic looking style. And that's what the Nazi party picked up--to play up the Aryan thing.

It's a pretty terrific Indo-European symbol. I wonder how long it will be in the penalty box? How long before we can use it again in the West? Though i don't wonder very hard, as things are going the West won't last that long. And it's not a symbol the Chinese, or Muzzies or blacks--the folks who look likely to limp on through to the future--use. It has nothing to do with them. The swatskita rightfully belongs to us Indo-European peoples.

Interestingly the commies--who murdered even more people--aren't in the penalty box at all. Not their symbols, not even their ideology. One can proudly be a commie. In fact, they wear around pictures of one of their (minor league, murderous thugs) on t-shirts. It's cool! Of course, the commies "meant well", while the Nazis didn't--or something. Omlet, eggs.
    , @Chrisnonymous
There are a variety of rules that govern how the flag is presented in different 2- and 3-D contexts (on uniform shoulders, etc). When hung in a wall, the field of stars should be on the left, as we typically see in illustrations.
    , @tree bacon
the counter-semitic swastika is rotated 45 degrees and its teeth are clockwise. without either one the vandal is simply wishing all who sees it good luck.

When we were a third world county, as you put it, we didn't have any.

    Funny how that worked out.

We got a few good physicists, some pretentious artists, a fancy drink or two, and a Nazi meme that happened in response to... something, as it did in Europe.

I now expect a Google-sourced lecture on American Nazis before your humble grandparents floated past the Statue of Emma Lazarus and went to work in the garment industry. I expect you to start with Charles Lindbergh.

Yes, it's what he's suggesting. Hate-vandalism is like an accusation of rape. Much of the time, rape accusations are true but one should always be skeptical of them. In this case, I think there is a pretty good chance that this is not a hoax. I don't think a hoaxer would have thought to screw up a swastika so badly.

    • Replies: @Jack D
My humble paternal grandparents never made it out of Europe thanks to some genuine Nazis. My humble maternal grandparents did make it here thanks to Stalin's hospitality. Unfortunately, the quality of the accomodations in Soviet prisons was lacking so my grandparents were not really in shape to work by the time they got here. My mother did arrive in NY harbor by ship (though Ellis Island was closed by then) and worked for a few years in the garment industry where I think she made 75 cents/hr.

This is why I believe that it my duty as a Jew to see to it that every last African and Meso-American be allowed to immigrate in order to escape my grandparents' sad fate. I will not rest until they are all here, every last one of them - those oppressed by MS-13 and the MS-13 that are oppressed by their government. They can come here and continue their ancient blood feuds in peace under the embracing shadow of the Holy Sonnet. I also want all of the Rohinga, Timorese, Samoans, Hmong, Chechens, Georgians, Tajiks, etc to join us. All Asians have a home in America, but especially jungle Asians and guys who like gold chains and Medicaid fraud.

The true history of Nazism in America begins with the Free Society of Teutonia, which became the Friends of New Germany which became the German American Bund. Charles Lindbergh and the current "American Nazi Party" do not feature as neither have much relationship to actual Nazism, although Lindbergh had a weakness for the frauleins. The Free Society of Teutonia combined anti-Semitism with heavy beer drinking sessions in true German fashion. Prost!

  14. The Times of Israel has a story about the 20 year old Israeli who is responsible for thousands of hoaxes in America and Israel.

Most alleged hate crime swastikas are done, at the very least, the wrong way around. Or, as in this case, so badly one wonders if the whole thing is a mistake.

Which makes me think that most of these are entirely phony. The coalition of the fringes have no interest in these things, in history and are probably clueless about how it should look. Or the magical properties of the symbol are so great they cannot stand to render it correctly.

Wow, those are bad. I would probably be called “alt-right” by significant portion of America (though I don’t consider myself that) yet I can’t off the top of my head remember which direction the swastika goes. Or does it even go in a specific direction?

This reminds me that I caught much of “Exodus” on tv a few weeks back. I was surprised how boring it was and amused by the goodness of the Jews, represented by Paul Newman,no less. That was contrasted with the evil Arabs. No sympathy for the towel heads!

There are a variety of rules that govern how the flag is presented in different 2- and 3-D contexts (on uniform shoulders, etc). When hung in a wall, the field of stars should be on the left, as we typically see in illustrations.

Actually, it can be seen as 2 S runes with 2nd being turned 90 degrees. In German it’s called Das Hakenkreuz (crooked or hooked cross). The Black Sun (Schwaze Sonne) is 3 swastikas or 12 S runes. Traditionally in Germanic lore, it is a symbol of Thor’s hammer in flight aka lightning.

I now expect a Google-sourced lecture on American Nazis before your humble grandparents floated past the Statue of Emma Lazarus and went to work in the garment industry. I expect you to start with Charles Lindbergh.

My humble paternal grandparents never made it out of Europe thanks to some genuine Nazis. My humble maternal grandparents did make it here thanks to Stalin’s hospitality.

This is why I believe that it my duty as a Jew to see to it that every last African and Meso-American be allowed to immigrate in order to escape my grandparents’ sad fate. I will not rest until they are all here, every last one of them – those oppressed by MS-13 and the MS-13 that are oppressed by their government.

Charles Lindbergh and the current “American Nazi Party” do not feature as neither have much relationship to actual Nazism, although Lindbergh had a weakness for the frauleins. The Free Society of Teutonia combined anti-Semitism with heavy beer drinking sessions in true German fashion. Prost!

That was splashed all over the MSM last night. "Sure, you may rape and murder our daughter, but we'll always be back, asking for more. Because that's what Good White People do, and we're Very Good."

He then added, "Did you notice how good I was just then? Because that's how I am. The whole family is this way. #CancelWhitePeople"

    #CancelWhitePeople

I sentiment I find myself sharing more and more.

  85. My guess is that a screwed up swastika is strong evidence that it’s the work of a stupid SJW.

Someone who has positive feelings about swastikas will generally have practiced drawing them so that they look the way they’re supposed to look.

A person with positive feelings about swastikas will generally be stupid and/or crazy, maybe evil, but he’ll know how to draw one.

The SJW out to perpetrate a hoax will look at a picture and think, “OK, now I know what it looks like, and it’s pretty simple, so no problem spay-painting one somewhere.” But when they go to do it, it turns out they didn’t internalize the image properly and it comes out just barely recognizable as something intended to be a swastika but badly botched.

I guess even Neo-Nazis have adopted Modernist Art.

    That's Jackson Pollock swastika.

I’d say that it’s more Klee than Pollock.

How many of you remember Morton Downy Jr.'s airport bathroom hoax? In 1989 his TV show ratings were sinking, so he drew a swastika on his face while looking in the men's room mirror at San Francisco airport, and it came out backwards of course. He claimed some "Nazis" assaulted him and did it:

    As are typical ‘hate crimes’.

The thing is the dumb leftist demographic that would fake a swastika and manage to fuck it up don’t like Jews enough to want to put the narcissistic hate-light fromwhichallgoodthingsultimatelycome upon them.

Antifa maybe mobilized some of the kinds of people who would mess up a swastika for the left, but Antifa isn’t a good bet because it is a pipe dream artificial fantasy of some professor at a city college that is really a community college and it doesn’t have any organic existence among the people except in a pocket of the Seattle suburbs. Maybe friendly idiots from Seattle did it.

But rig heats throwing up a swastika as a prank to fuck with people does have some organic plausibility. Because the swastika can be vaguely thought to represent the protection of things down trodden whites have an authentic attachment to. Even if in a messed up and abortive way.

That said the line between hoax and non-hoax is very blurry. I’m uncovinxed that the alt right isn’t a non-hoax despite its undeniably existing and having real members.

Let’s say this was done by authentic ‘rednecks’ who sometimes have glanced at stormfront? Is it thereby not a hate hoax? Isn’t it kind of a non-event?

But notice that this line of argument moves us closer to liberal narratives about real hate hoaxes being no less real racial emergencies than acts of kkk.

But isn’t there often some truth in this.

The key to really messing with someone is to make them do it to themselves so that you keep your hands clean.

I think is mostly displayed as being rotated 45 degrees as well although there are a few instances where it lies flat.

Also, every American flag has two sides - on one side, the stars are on the left, on the other side, the right. To me, the flag doesn't look correct with the stars on the right. But is there an actual "correct" side of the flag? I don't know.

the counter-semitic swastika is rotated 45 degrees and its teeth are clockwise. without either one the vandal is simply wishing all who sees it good luck.
