From a book review in the NYT:

As for Nadia, she was “always clad from the tips of her toes to the bottom of her jugular notch in a flowing black robe.” But while this robe seems to be a form of conservative Islamic dress, one of the starkest signs of difference between Nadia and non-Islamic readers, she is more daring than Saeed. She is the one who offers him marijuana and psychedelic mushrooms, and she is the one who initiates sex. The robe, it turns out, is camouflage to allow Nadia to be an independent woman.

I’m starting to think that the appeal to American liberal women of the idea of the Muslims taking over is that if Society makes me wear one of those tents, I can be both a hot-looking (because all the other women will have to wear them too) woman of mystery and I won’t have to lose those last 15 pounds.

Sharia law is a small price to pay for that.

  1. Could be something to that. Similarly, the more modest female dress is said to lessen intrasexual competition. It also probably acts as a barrier to the temptation of adultery. Many societal benefits. We shouldn’t be so quick to turn up our noses.

As far as explaining the appeal to Western women in particular of a Muslim takeover, we cannot discard as a primary factor Western men’s abdicating their role as men. To name one example, their unwillingness to defend group territory and resources from invasion. That cannot be attractive to women.

It also probably acts as a barrier to the temptation of adultery.

It also tells us that they come from a race with almost zero self-control among males. I mean, geez, you have to lock girls in a burning building because the men would see an elbow or nape and take advantage of it?

Men of any normal race, i.e., any other race in the world, would first think, how can I help save these poor creatures. Not, how can I milk this opportunity to get some?

Yeah, but Islamic dress and codes are pretty extreme for the results. We could all go Amish and get the same results without the absurdity.

    Opinionater, this part:

leaves out a lot of background.

Men have a very good reason to not get involved in a deal that could wipe out many years of their lives based on a court ruling. Portions of your life have indeed been taken from you when your money and other assets are stolen and "redistributed" - this money represents months or years of your labor, and unless you have a job that you just love most of the time, that means months/years of your life have been taken.

How did this scam of no-fault divorce, family court BS and all come into place? People did not make an effort to stop government growth (all of it, local, state, and Federal). Granted half of the voting public is women, so we put ourselves in a pickle by allowing this suffrage thing 100 years back.

I cannot blame young men with any means at all for not wanting to commit to a 50% or more chance of losing a big chunk of their lives, and also, even worse, having their children taken from them and raised wrong. The way men should have taken care of this is to have not let THE STATE become the beast that it is now. How can you fight this beast nowadays?

You should have listened to Barry Goldwater, people, and everything would have been different.

    , @guest
You don't get it? Think about the condition of humanity over most of human history, and how men have acted. Think of how many children must have been the product of rape, for instance, if not gang rape. That's for starters.
    , @Anon
It has more to do with economics than dominance. There are a lot of women out there who'd like to return to the traditional family structure of the wife stays home and raises the kids while the man works. The women just want the men to be able to make enough money in a modern economy to pull it off and be financially comfortable. Most white men can't do this anymore on one income. So some women are looking upon the burka as a symbol of tradition, and they're shrewd enough to realize that not every Arab male is poor. There's a certain amount of oil money floating around in monied Arab families, and white women are very well aware that Arab women do not match Western women in desirableness on the marriage market. Arabian women are short, squat, dark-skinned, inbred and dumb. They do not breed quality children. Arab men know this, too. All they have to do is look around their own societies and see the lack of success and initiative compared to Western societies.

Arab women would not be dressing in a sexy style under burkas if they didn't sense serious competition. If it weren't for the tradition of arranged marriages and the insistence on marrying inside the Islamic religion, Arab males would bolt and chase after Western white women the way blacks do. A lot of propaganda about how great Islam is is coming from Arab men and it's being directed towards white Western women. The Arab men are trying to persuade Western women to convert so they become marriageable. Single, liberal Western women in a dead-end job and resentful that they can't attract a white male are susceptible to this propaganda since it feeds their fantasies of money and security.

The hijab and burqua are feminist. They prevent body competition, for the most dominant Alpha men. Even better for women, and worse for most men, is polygamy which allows the average woman looking like Lena Dunham to have a portion of a big shot, and bear his kids.

Women have incompatible and mutually exclusive sexual agendas from men. Women want polygamy, the hijab, the burqua. Its why feminists defend it, ignore brutal rape-murders such as the one in Germany of the teen daughter of the EU bureaucrat, and have hysterics over some nerd making a dongle joke or asking them for coffee in an elevator.

There IS a war of the sexes, there has been since the early 1800s at least, and Western women having given up the idea of “reforming” White men into more sexy, dominant, men (we are no longer the drinkers we were in the 19th century) have decided to replace us with Third World goat herders who might be illiterate but have the qualities (a plus for women) of being as intelligent as a rock (male intelligence being a close second to baseball statistics in a turn off for women) and stupidly aggressive.

Whatever. The feminists don't understand that women are the property of men in Islamic countries because these nations are hyper-patriarchies.

As Ibn Bassan documents, Islamic society went through its feminist period...and destroyed itself. Civilization collapsed to the point where it was unsafe for women to walk the streets at any hour.

This over-indulgence of feminism in early Islamic civilization is what led to the burka and other restrictions on women. When this civilization collapses, when, too, will be similarly restricted.

From The Fate of Empires, by John Glubb

    XXIV
    The Arab decline

In the first half of the ninth century,
Baghdad enjoyed its High Noon as the
greatest and the richest city in the world. In
861, however, the reigning Khalif (caliph),
Mutawakkil, was murdered by his Turkish
mercenaries, who set up a military dictator-
ship, which lasted for some thirty years.
During this period the empire fell apart, the
    various dominions and provinces each
    assuming virtual independence and seeking
its own interests. Baghdad, lately the capital
of a vast empire, found its authority limited
    to Iraq alone.

The works of the contemporary historians
of Baghdad in the early tenth century are still
    available. They deeply deplored the
degeneracy of the times in which they lived,
    emphasizing particularly the indifference to
religion, the increasing materialism and the
laxity of sexual morals. They lamented also
the corruption of the officials of the
government and the fact that politicians
always seemed to amass large fortunes while
    they were in office.

The historians commented bitterly on the
    extraordinary influence acquired by popular
singers over young people, resulting in a
decline in sexual morality. The ‘pop’ singers
of Baghdad accompanied their erotic songs
on the lute, an instrument resembling the
modern guitar. In the second half of the
tenth century, as a result, much obscene
sexual language came increasingly into use,
such as would not have been tolerated in an
earlier age. Several khalifs issued orders
banning ‘pop’ singers from the capital, but
within a few years they always returned.

An increase in the influence of women in
public life has often been associated with na-
tional decline. The later Romans complained
that, although Rome ruled the world, women
ruled Rome. In the tenth century, a similar
tendency was observable in the Arab Empire,
the women demanding admission to the
    professions hitherto monopolised by men.
    ‘What,’ wrote the contemporary historian,
Ibn Bessam, ‘have the professions of clerk,
tax-collector or preacher to do with women?
These occupations have always been limited
to men alone.’ Many women practised law,
while others obtained posts as university
professors. There was an agitation for the
    appointment of female judges, which,
however, does not appear to have succeeded.
Soon after this period, government and
public order collapsed, and foreign invaders
overran the country. The resulting increase
in confusion and violence made it unsafe for
women to move unescorted in the streets,
with the result that this feminist movement
    collapsed.

The disorders following the military take-
over in 861, and the loss of the empire, had
played havoc with the economy. At such a
moment, it might have been expected that
everyone would redouble their efforts to save
the country from bankruptcy, but nothing of
the kind occurred. Instead, at this moment of
declining trade and financial stringency, the
    people of Baghdad introduced a
    five-day week.

Whiskey always spews this, doesn't understand that it is some of the common, but, fortunately for me, not universal, collaterals to intelligence that women find offputting.

    The nerdiness, etc.

If you're intelligent, but a regular guy otherwise, women actually consider intelligence a plus. They just don't like nerds.

Whiskey is a nerd and intelligent guy from his writings. I don't know anything about the dude other than he seems to think the worst of women and attributes his failures with women to his intelligence, in a weird way validating his superiority to himself, he's proud of his intelligence, rather than attributing it more accurately to his nerdiness, which would be injurious to his self-image.

Does that about sum it up, Whiskey?

Anyhow, to me, the mark of a smart dude is using his intelligence to further his goals. Honestly, how smart can a guy really be if he is unsuccessful with that most basic of male goals, women?

Wasn't Feynmann an accomplished PUA or something?

If a group of white Christian men were to propose a policy requiring women to dress modestly in public, how do you suppose feminists would react? Most likely they would organize some kind of slut walk to protest it.

The 'historic' Christian custom was for women to wear a head covering in Divine Liturgy/Holy Mass (and even almost all early Protestant services). I know church going women today who damn that practice as sexist but who also defend and even glamorize the Moslem practices.

A large percentage of the church-attending women who voted for Hillary fall into such a category.
    , @Bill
Yeah, this is right. It's true, of course, that norms of modest dress and comportment are good for women, but feminists don't care about this, really. Feminists are 1) lesbians and 2) Don Juans (Hillary and Bill, for example). Neither gives a crap about the welfare of heterosexual women, really.

Yea Steve is a lot more interesting at identifying new issues and political strategies than he is when he starts abondoning Ockham's Razor to offer Baroque hot takes.

It's not like they just made a miniseries out of the hand maidens tail which conjures up hatefully precisely the kind of society you propose as a counterfactual.

For a happily married guy with what seems like a pretty great and loyal wife it's hard to know where Steve gets his really catty view of women from- maybe the fact he only has boys colors his opinion.
    , @NOTA
Yeah, to the extent feminists are pro Muslim, it has to do with having the same enemies, not agreeing on anything. And this is enhanced because feminists are much more likely to be given a voice in mainstream publications if they're bashing white Christians and supporting Muslims than the other way around.

Their women spend most time cooped up in the house, apartment or family compound. When they do get out those tents block the sun. Women in hijabs 'need sunlight or risk illness'
    July 2007

Muslim women who wear the hijab are at risk of serious illness because they do not get enough sun, doctors have warned.
They said an alarming number of women who cover their skin are suffering bone deficiencies over a lack of vitamin D.
Most of the body's vitamin D - which prevents rickets - is obtained through sunlight acting on the skin. Only a little comes from food.

Doctors told a London conference today that people with dark pigment are at risk because of "cultural reasons" and because they are less efficient at producing the vitamin.
The bone disorder rickets has now broken out in young Muslim children as babies are not getting enough calcium from mothers' breast milk.

Neutral, somewhat to your billionaire-regular guy thought. A nice guy in a bar chats up a very attractive woman. As the evening progresses, with more conversation and drinks, he says..."Would you be willing to have sex with me for $5ooo?" The woman with, no hesitation, says..."Sure." He chuckles and says, "Well, that was a bit steep, how about $1000?" She smiles and says "Sure." The man takes a sip of his drink, pauses and says..."What about $100?" The woman scoffs and says..."Hey, what do you think I am?" The man replies, "I know what you are, we're just haggling over the price."

How "exotic" is Sharif in today's environment? He was brought up Christian and wrote a column on contract bridge, at which he was internationally ranked. Sounds pretty bourgeois to me.

(He also had an affair with Barbra Streisand, which says something either about his taste, or about the general run of Egyptian women.)

Sharif was the Old World counterpart to Anthony Quinn, with a vague foreignness about him which allowed him to play almost any slightly-swarthier-than-the-audience ethnicity.

  20. Don’t overthink a simple thing.

The only idea driving the leftoids is their pathological hatred of Christianity. They’ll support whoever is killing Christians at the moment, regardless of ideology. Simple as that.

(This is also the reason why they were supporting communism five decades ago. Labor rights had nothing to do with it.)

The only idea driving the leftoids is their pathological hatred of Christianity

I think this is pretty close to correct. Imagine if some American Christian sects started treating women and girls the way they are treated in Islam. It's difficult to imagine American feminists talking about the need to "show respect" for such a culture.

That said, I don't think that Leftists have a problem with Christianity per se; the problem is more that Christianity is in some sense the dominant religion in the world. Leftists are ever eager to demonstrate their moral and intellectual superiority by siding with the perceived underdog.

As Lawrence Auster pointed out, there is a "liberal script" which has three characters: "the white liberal, who embodies the non-discriminatory virtue of the liberal regime; the white non-liberal, who discriminates against nonwhites and who must be crushed by the white liberal; and the nonwhite/non-Westerner, who either is discriminated against by the white non-liberal or is non-discriminatorily included by the white liberal. "

Here, it is Muslims which are playing the role of the "nonwhite/non-Westerner." Thus, the feminist islamophilia even though similar practices would be condemned if engaged in by White Christians.
    , @Rod1963
    Spot on.

Yep Steve is certainly overthinking this one.

One thing that stands out among the Leftists of today as you say is a pathological hatred of Christianity and especially white male Christians.

And given that Muslims want to kill off Christians, that makes them allies of the Left.

BTW if any Christian were to demand that Western women cover themselves, the feminists would go into a murderous rage.
    , @Formerly CARealist
Yes, they hate Christianity, but why? Is it because of Jewish bigotry?
    , @Regor
I used to be perplexed by the Left's unconditional support of Islam and Muslim immigration while still going out of their way to condemn and mock even the nicest Christians. After all, I used to think, don't Muslims strongly oppose many of the leftists' most cherished beliefs while Christians had been mostly "tamed".

Then I finally figured they are not motivated by any positive feelings towards Muslims or other designated victim groups. It's their visceral hatred for Western Civilization and Christianity that inevitably makes them embrace anything evil and destructive no matter how contradictory to their own professed beliefs.

Whatever. The feminists don’t understand that women are the property of men in Islamic countries because these nations are hyper-patriarchies.

As Ibn Bassan documents, Islamic society went through its feminist period…and destroyed itself. Civilization collapsed to the point where it was unsafe for women to walk the streets at any hour.

This over-indulgence of feminism in early Islamic civilization is what led to the burka and other restrictions on women. When this civilization collapses, when, too, will be similarly restricted.

Don't know if this is what you're referring to or not, but Egyptian women covered-the-fuck-up (and voted for the Muslim Brotherhood) because of the joys of "Whiskey! Democracy! Sexy!" feminism that (ironically) people like "Evil Neocon" thought was the way of the Arab Future a few years back.

Women cover up for different reasons.

In post-Mubarak Egypt they did ao to decrease their odds of getting raped.

Over the past 4 years in Stamboul it has been owing to the snowball of control by families who were religious or pretending to be. This also sparked a fashion renaissance that isn't inconsequential.

For a generation now in the Emirates it has been a fake sign of upward social mobility. Chinese women of higher stagus had tiny feet...blah vlah blah because that isn't really relevant here. The women cover up Cargo Culty as the female gods of thw country do - so I shall do also...and receive all the same cargo.

Many other women, the world over, took off the veil between 2001 and 2004 then put it on as Osama and his followers seemed like the strong horse again then KEPT it on as the Strong Victimology Horse told them it was a good way to automatically enter their ranks.

From The Fate of Empires, by John Glubb

    XXIV
    The Arab decline

In the first half of the ninth century,
Baghdad enjoyed its High Noon as the
greatest and the richest city in the world. In
861, however, the reigning Khalif (caliph),
Mutawakkil, was murdered by his Turkish
mercenaries, who set up a military dictator-
ship, which lasted for some thirty years.
During this period the empire fell apart, the
    various dominions and provinces each
    assuming virtual independence and seeking
its own interests. Baghdad, lately the capital
of a vast empire, found its authority limited
    to Iraq alone.

The works of the contemporary historians
of Baghdad in the early tenth century are still
    available. They deeply deplored the
degeneracy of the times in which they lived,
    emphasizing particularly the indifference to
religion, the increasing materialism and the
laxity of sexual morals. They lamented also
the corruption of the officials of the
government and the fact that politicians
always seemed to amass large fortunes while
    they were in office.

The historians commented bitterly on the
    extraordinary influence acquired by popular
singers over young people, resulting in a
decline in sexual morality. The ‘pop’ singers
of Baghdad accompanied their erotic songs
on the lute, an instrument resembling the
modern guitar. In the second half of the
tenth century, as a result, much obscene
sexual language came increasingly into use,
such as would not have been tolerated in an
earlier age. Several khalifs issued orders
banning ‘pop’ singers from the capital, but
within a few years they always returned.

An increase in the influence of women in
public life has often been associated with na-
tional decline. The later Romans complained
that, although Rome ruled the world, women
ruled Rome. In the tenth century, a similar
tendency was observable in the Arab Empire,
the women demanding admission to the
    professions hitherto monopolised by men.
    ‘What,’ wrote the contemporary historian,
Ibn Bessam, ‘have the professions of clerk,
tax-collector or preacher to do with women?
These occupations have always been limited
to men alone.’ Many women practised law,
while others obtained posts as university
professors. There was an agitation for the
    appointment of female judges, which,
however, does not appear to have succeeded.
Soon after this period, government and
public order collapsed, and foreign invaders
overran the country. The resulting increase
in confusion and violence made it unsafe for
women to move unescorted in the streets,
with the result that this feminist movement
    collapsed.

The disorders following the military take-
over in 861, and the loss of the empire, had
played havoc with the economy. At such a
moment, it might have been expected that
everyone would redouble their efforts to save
the country from bankruptcy, but nothing of
the kind occurred. Instead, at this moment of
declining trade and financial stringency, the
    people of Baghdad introduced a
    five-day week.

Could be something to that. Similarly, the more modest female dress is said to lessen intrasexual competition. It also probably acts as a barrier to the temptation of adultery. Many societal benefits. We shouldn't be so quick to turn up our noses.

As far as explaining the appeal to Western women in particular of a Muslim takeover, we cannot discard as a primary factor Western men's abdicating their role as men. To name one example, their unwillingness to defend group territory and resources from invasion. That cannot be attractive to women.

What what women think they want, what they say they want and what they actually desire, are often divergent.

    Absolutely!

What drives Liberalism is a hatred, often to the death, of what used to be Christendom. That does not mean hatred for the actual geography, but for the peoples who are descendants of those who made and ran Christendom. Liberalism is a rebellion against Christendom, which requires 2 things: 1) a desire to make most white Gentiles little better than serfs; and 2) an endless romanticizing of all religious beliefs and groups that are not part of ‘historic’ Christendom.

It seems to me you are overthinking things. The obvious explanations are (1) virtue-signalling by siding with the Other; and (2) coalition politics. If a group of white Christian men were to propose a policy requiring women to dress modestly in public, how do you suppose feminists would react? Most likely they would organize some kind of slut walk to protest it.

The ‘historic’ Christian custom was for women to wear a head covering in Divine Liturgy/Holy Mass (and even almost all early Protestant services). I know church going women today who damn that practice as sexist but who also defend and even glamorize the Moslem practices.

Two groups of White women voters that will never vote for the Patriotic GOP in large numbers are unmarried White dingbats and White upper middle class government/corporate worker sneaks. President Trump must tell the remaining White women voters that they are under attack from these two types of White female voters.

President Trump and the Patriotic GOP should be careful with the White female government worker faction. They are politically brutal beyond any and all known standards of human decency. If you politically target them, you must completely crush them, for if you only wound them they will fight back like a jezebel demon straight from the fiery pits of hell. Say a bad word about teachers’ unions and you’ll see what I mean, for sure. President Trump should carefully pick a fight with them just for the hell of it. It will be fun, and the Patriotic GOP ladies will think it’s funny.

Wedging the White women voters away from the Globalizer GOP and the Democrat Party means that the Globalizer GOP must be exterminated. The Globalizer GOP that pushes open borders mass immigration, job-killing open borders trade deal scams and endless overseas war must be obliterated. President Trump should leave nothing of them left in the Patriotic GOP. Any Globalizer GOP remnant left undisturbed will be a potential backstabber element that will cause mischief.

President Trump has the natural political skills needed to massively increase the percentage of White women voting for the Patriotic GOP. White women want someone who will fight for them and their families. Even if they don’t have families, White women want a champion who will slay the dragons menacing their safety and security. President Trump is the man with the Andrew Jackson fighting spirit to do it.

You are actually on to something. THAT IS EXACTLY HOW IT WORKS IN MUSLIM NATIONS.

The niqab/burqa is a form of kink and an equal opportunity sex display. To be a Vogue cover model, you have to be a Size 2 with great hair, great boobs, great skin, and a great face. That’s like 1% of the female population. But ANYBODY can cover up. This is why so many Muslim women actually find niqab/burqa “empowering”, because it allows them to hide what they perceive as their flaws in the most tantalizing way possible. It allows them to compete with the 1% of perfect women. And it works! By making men work for it, to put in bluntly, they increase their sexual mating value. By wearing niqab a plain woman becomes as hard to get as a Playboy model, and men respond accordingly.

Muslim women know that the women who wear niqab are generally not attractive and/or overweight. Visit parts of Philly and you will see many black female converts to Islam that are clearly overweight. It is empowering to them. Attractive women have too much ego to cover up their good looks like that.

degeneracy of the times in which they lived,
    emphasizing particularly the indifference to
religion, the increasing materialism and the
laxity of sexual morals. They lamented also
the corruption of the officials of the
government and the fact that politicians
always seemed to amass large fortunes while
    they were in office.

The historians commented bitterly on the
    extraordinary influence acquired by popular
singers over young people, resulting in a
decline in sexual morality. The ‘pop’ singers
of Baghdad accompanied their erotic songs
on the lute, an instrument resembling the
modern guitar. In the second half of the
tenth century, as a result, much obscene
sexual language came increasingly into use,
such as would not have been tolerated in an
earlier age. Several khalifs issued orders
banning ‘pop’ singers from the capital, but
within a few years they always returned.

An increase in the influence of women in
public life has often been associated with na-
tional decline. The later Romans complained
that, although Rome ruled the world, women
ruled Rome. In the tenth century, a similar
tendency was observable in the Arab Empire,
the women demanding admission to the
    professions hitherto monopolised by men.
    ‘What,’ wrote the contemporary historian,
Ibn Bessam, ‘have the professions of clerk,
tax-collector or preacher to do with women?
These occupations have always been limited
to men alone.’ Many women practised law,
while others obtained posts as university
professors. There was an agitation for the
    appointment of female judges, which,
however, does not appear to have succeeded.
Soon after this period, government and
public order collapsed, and foreign invaders
overran the country. The resulting increase
in confusion and violence made it unsafe for
women to move unescorted in the streets,
with the result that this feminist movement
    collapsed.

The disorders following the military take-
over in 861, and the loss of the empire, had
played havoc with the economy. At such a
moment, it might have been expected that
everyone would redouble their efforts to save
the country from bankruptcy, but nothing of
the kind occurred. Instead, at this moment of
declining trade and financial stringency, the

These dumb, trifling women take something potentially harmful and destructive and turn it into just another fashion statement for themselves to wave about in yet another attempt to distinguish themselves from the masses. It’s really overdue for the women of sense to start verbalizing their discontent with what’s been said supposedly on behalf of all women. The SJW idiots are a loudmouthed bunch and the normal ones tend not to want to make spectacles of themselves even though the normies are a numerical majority. Feminism has been co-opted by the deep state so they get brought out to rubber-stamp every war of aggression as being good for women. Thus one can see them trying to make this awful cult-religion seem palatable. This isn’t funny anymore.

They all rushed, breathlessly, to see Fifty Shades of Grey

Like many people asked when the Fifty Shades of Grey movie came out, if it was not a billionaire but some low earning worker that wanted to do the same things, would that make him appealing to women ? The answer is obviously not, when feminists fantasize about wearing burkas, the men in those fantasies are not some lowly plumbers from Pakistan, they probably envisage some exotic Omar Sharif type sheik will sweep them up and live a life of mystery and wonder.

Neutral, somewhat to your billionaire-regular guy thought. A nice guy in a bar chats up a very attractive woman. As the evening progresses, with more conversation and drinks, he says…”Would you be willing to have sex with me for $5ooo?” The woman with, no hesitation, says…”Sure.” He chuckles and says, “Well, that was a bit steep, how about $1000?” She smiles and says “Sure.” The man takes a sip of his drink, pauses and says…”What about $100?” The woman scoffs and says…”Hey, what do you think I am?” The man replies, “I know what you are, we’re just haggling over the price.”

`Would you do it for ten shillings?' said Bernard Shaw.

Yeah, this is right. It’s true, of course, that norms of modest dress and comportment are good for women, but feminists don’t care about this, really. Feminists are 1) lesbians and 2) Don Juans (Hillary and Bill, for example). Neither gives a crap about the welfare of heterosexual women, really.

I was going to comment on the same thing, Buffalo Joe. The yoga pants are a real problem for me, most of the time. Depending on the venue, yoga pants do not work for women (or for me, I should say) from 90 - 99% of the time. At Wal-Mart, for example, we're at the low end of yoga-pants suitability - probably 99% of the women wearing them should ABSOLUTELY! NOT! DO! THAT!. On a college campus, we're still at, say 90% these days. For the other 10%, well, it's almost like them being naked (good naked, that is).

Man, whatever happened to just tight jeans? The girls that shouldn't wear them just wore not-s0-tight jeans, but they looked so good on many of them.

I agree with most here, that the burka can only cover up 10-20 extra pounds. Who do these women think they're fooling? Someday, an enterprising young man will invent shoes with load cells and transmitters for sending weight numbers to any iphones in range. (Yeah, we can make an app for that.) What then, ladies?

Could be something to that. Similarly, the more modest female dress is said to lessen intrasexual competition. It also probably acts as a barrier to the temptation of adultery. Many societal benefits. We shouldn't be so quick to turn up our noses.

As far as explaining the appeal to Western women in particular of a Muslim takeover, we cannot discard as a primary factor Western men's abdicating their role as men. To name one example, their unwillingness to defend group territory and resources from invasion. That cannot be attractive to women.

It also probably acts as a barrier to the temptation of adultery.

It also tells us that they come from a race with almost zero self-control among males. I mean, geez, you have to lock girls in a burning building because the men would see an elbow or nape and take advantage of it?

From The Fate of Empires, by John Glubb

    XXIV
    The Arab decline

In the first half of the ninth century,
Baghdad enjoyed its High Noon as the
greatest and the richest city in the world. In
861, however, the reigning Khalif (caliph),
Mutawakkil, was murdered by his Turkish
mercenaries, who set up a military dictator-
ship, which lasted for some thirty years.
During this period the empire fell apart, the
    various dominions and provinces each
    assuming virtual independence and seeking
its own interests. Baghdad, lately the capital
of a vast empire, found its authority limited
    to Iraq alone.

The works of the contemporary historians
of Baghdad in the early tenth century are still
    available. They deeply deplored the
degeneracy of the times in which they lived,
    emphasizing particularly the indifference to
religion, the increasing materialism and the
laxity of sexual morals. They lamented also
the corruption of the officials of the

It’s about complete and utter ignorance of the lives of Muslim women in second/third world countries.

From birth to death they are harshly ridiculed for stepping outside of social bounds and forced to abide by strict laws regarding chastity, role in the household, place in society and make up of their social circle.

This is clearly a wise formula to perpetuate Islamic societies over time by enforcing a culture of reproduction, unlike our suicidal feminist social code. However, it makes for a dull existence for the women.

This is more evidence for the red-pill narrative that most women do not know what they want and will engage in complete self-delusion in order to make themselves feel better/conform to the prevailing social narrative.

The best analogy would be Steve’s essays on women programmers. When the script was simple and involved rote memorization and regurgitation of simple calculations – they performed well because there was no need to innovate. Once the uncertainty of billions more permutations of advanced coding was introduced and creative thinking/problem solving became important, they started lagging.

Women want to embrace Islam because it simplifies their lives and reduces competition and the need for complex thinking. For them, Islam gives them a rubric for life – all they need for social recognition/advancement/value is to abide by its relatively simple and natural rules.

You're being unfair on women programmers. MOST coding is 'grunt' work - you have to have a brain to do it, but not a genius-level brain.

The 'three guys in a garage writing a compiler for that new processor' brain, or coding real-time missile-control assembly-language brain, is rarer.

Not all women are the same!

Furthermore, I spent decades as a computer programmer.

While I accept the women on average are less skilled than men on average in STEM fields, there's plenty of overlap of the bell curves (the standard deviation for women is less than for men, making the far right tale almost entirely male).

Think of height. I'm only 2" taller than the average for women (I'm 5'6"). But I often run into men shorter than me.

I am really surprised to see such a comment here. I thought the commenters here were a bit smarter than average and understood what bell curves were,

(Math people call it a normal distribution. Phyics types call it a Gaussian.)

From The Fate of Empires, by John Glubb

    XXIV
    The Arab decline

In the first half of the ninth century,
Baghdad enjoyed its High Noon as the
greatest and the richest city in the world. In
861, however, the reigning Khalif (caliph),
Mutawakkil, was murdered by his Turkish
mercenaries, who set up a military dictator-
ship, which lasted for some thirty years.
During this period the empire fell apart, the
    various dominions and provinces each
    assuming virtual independence and seeking
its own interests. Baghdad, lately the capital
of a vast empire, found its authority limited
    to Iraq alone.

The works of the contemporary historians
of Baghdad in the early tenth century are still
    available. They deeply deplored the
degeneracy of the times in which they lived,
    emphasizing particularly the indifference to
religion, the increasing materialism and the
laxity of sexual morals. They lamented also
the corruption of the officials of the
government and the fact that politicians
always seemed to amass large fortunes while
    they were in office.

The historians commented bitterly on the
    extraordinary influence acquired by popular
singers over young people, resulting in a
decline in sexual morality. The ‘pop’ singers
of Baghdad accompanied their erotic songs
on the lute, an instrument resembling the
modern guitar. In the second half of the
tenth century, as a result, much obscene
sexual language came increasingly into use,
such as would not have been tolerated in an
earlier age. Several khalifs issued orders
banning ‘pop’ singers from the capital, but
within a few years they always returned.

An increase in the influence of women in
public life has often been associated with na-
tional decline. The later Romans complained
that, although Rome ruled the world, women
ruled Rome. In the tenth century, a similar
tendency was observable in the Arab Empire,
the women demanding admission to the
    professions hitherto monopolised by men.
    ‘What,’ wrote the contemporary historian,
Ibn Bessam, ‘have the professions of clerk,
tax-collector or preacher to do with women?
These occupations have always been limited
to men alone.’ Many women practised law,
while others obtained posts as university
professors. There was an agitation for the
    appointment of female judges, which,
however, does not appear to have succeeded.
Soon after this period, government and
public order collapsed, and foreign invaders
overran the country. The resulting increase
in confusion and violence made it unsafe for
women to move unescorted in the streets,
with the result that this feminist movement
    collapsed.

The disorders following the military take-
over in 861, and the loss of the empire, had
played havoc with the economy. At such a
moment, it might have been expected that
everyone would redouble their efforts to save
the country from bankruptcy, but nothing of
the kind occurred. Instead, at this moment of
declining trade and financial stringency, the
    people of Baghdad introduced a
    five-day week.

Is that for real? It is an eerie synopsis of today.

The only idea driving the leftoids is their pathological hatred of Christianity. They'll support whoever is killing Christians at the moment, regardless of ideology.

It’s difficult to imagine American feminists talking about the need to “show respect” for such a culture.

That said, I don’t think that Leftists have a problem with Christianity per se; the problem is more that Christianity is in some sense the dominant religion in the world. Leftists are ever eager to demonstrate their moral and intellectual superiority by siding with the perceived underdog.

As Lawrence Auster pointed out, there is a “liberal script” which has three characters: “the white liberal, who embodies the non-discriminatory virtue of the liberal regime; the white non-liberal, who discriminates against nonwhites and who must be crushed by the white liberal; and the nonwhite/non-Westerner, who either is discriminated against by the white non-liberal or is non-discriminatorily included by the white liberal. ”

Here, it is Muslims which are playing the role of the “nonwhite/non-Westerner.” Thus, the feminist islamophilia even though similar practices would be condemned if engaged in by White Christians.

“This is the legacy of a post-civil-rights social order that gave up on desegregation as a guiding mission and accepted a country of de facto segregation between “nice neighborhoods” and “rough neighborhoods,” “good schools” and “bad schools,” “inner cities” and “bedroom communities.” None of this was an accident. It was the accumulation of policy—from federal housing guidelines and the practices of local real-estate agents to the decisions of tens of thousands of school boards and town councils and homeowners’ associations essentially drawing boundaries: the Nation on one side, the Colony on the other..

True, but you could qualify any quality women are attracted to in a similar manner. Women like men to be tall, but they don't want some gangly loser. They want a man to be rich, but there are plenty of rich losers who turn women off by the truckload. I could go on.

Christianity, at least in public life, is too much a spent force to continue to arouse such 'pathological hatred'

It has to be something else. The white and male part, more likely. They're not ramming 'Christian Privilege' down the throats of impressionable undergrads, after all.

And given that Muslims want to kill off Christians, that makes them allies of the Left.

But Islam, even hard-core, commands leaving Christians more or less alone (provided they essentially submit).

It makes no such concessions for feminist atheists. They get thrown from rooftops.

  85. Female competition is real. This is why modest school uniforms at girls schools promote friendship and solidarity. This is also why enemies of a stable, traditional society successfully eroticiozed the Catholic school girl outfit.
Modesty in dress allows girls to become better friends:

The permissiveness of the post-modern west yearns for order, and the order it gets will be a pendulum swing of excess in the other direction.
Fromm noted that the “freedom from” the constraints of traditional morality and society, which modernity offers, is so terrifying that people run into new constraints…
The man-o-sphere sees this, though instead of seeking the via media, it offers tips on exploiting the incongruity of ideology and biology, liberation and the desire to be be controlled.

Yeah, but Islamic dress and codes are pretty extreme for the results. We could all go Amish and get the same results without the absurdity.

Yeah, but going anywhere along that spectrum, let alone all the way to Amish, would require admitting they might have been wrong about something, which is totally anathema.

  87. The city and the country are unnamed, unlike the two characters at the story’s center: Saeed and Nadia, a young man and woman whose courtship begins in this moment of impending crisis.

    This review is really bad.

“blown by a truck bomb to bits, literally to bits, the largest of which, in Nadia’s cousin’s case, were a head and two-thirds of an arm.”

    Apparently, the book is too.

The novel implicitly asks these readers why doors should be closed to refugees, when those readers might become refugees one day?

Isn’t this the most iSteve-y part of the review, for how will the readers become refugees?

What happens once Saeed and Nadia arrive at these promised lands makes up the second half of the novel, in which it seems that “the whole planet was on the move, much of the global South headed to the global North, but also Southerners moving to other Southern places and Northerners moving to other Northern places.” Here Hamid’s novel reveals itself to be a story not only of the present but of the future, where migration will be the norm. Depending on one’s point of view, this is either terrifying or hopeful. When everyone is moving, then mobility becomes normal rather than disturbing. While these movements cause unrest on the part of the “natives” — what Hamid, in a postcolonial reverse, calls the inhabitants of the host countries — the vision that he ultimately offers is peaceful. After the natives get over their initial fear of strangers, both the natives and the strangers discover they are just as likely to get along as not. From this measured, cautious recognition of a mutual humanity, the natives and strangers attempt to forge a new society.

Who reads this and doesn’t get angry? What’s wrong with NYT readers?

It seems to me you are overthinking things. The obvious explanations are (1) virtue-signalling by siding with the Other; and (2) coalition politics. If a group of white Christian men were to propose a policy requiring women to dress modestly in public, how do you suppose feminists would react? Most likely they would organize some kind of slut walk to protest it.

Yea Steve is a lot more interesting at identifying new issues and political strategies than he is when he starts abondoning Ockham’s Razor to offer Baroque hot takes.

It’s not like they just made a miniseries out of the hand maidens tail which conjures up hatefully precisely the kind of society you propose as a counterfactual.

For a happily married guy with what seems like a pretty great and loyal wife it’s hard to know where Steve gets his really catty view of women from- maybe the fact he only has boys colors his opinion.

Yea except for the fact that the vast majority of church going women who voted for Hillary are African american women (you know the one demographic that still wears hats to church).

What you are describing (to the extent that you’ve actually encountered it is people glamorizing traditions that don’t apply to them and attacking gradiometers that would alter their behavior or constrict their options.

  92. TheJester says:

A temporary alliance of convenience between Western feminists and Muslims fits the feminist theory of intersectional oppression. Both claim oppression by White European males, and they seek common political ground against them. Feminists and others operating under the cover of emotive-based intersectional oppression are not bothered by ideological contradictions or practical inconsistencies that will eventually tear their coalitions apart. The Apostle Matthew beat them to the punch on this one:

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” — Matthew 6:34

Of note, in our community, the Hispanic Dreamer’s Moms and Muslim women are also meeting under the guise of intersectional oppression to find common ground against Trump and his immigration policies. As elements of the Coalition of the Fringes, the two groups are pressing for a waiver of immigration laws to open the borders for themselves and their relatives. Beyond that, who knows! How will Muslims treat the Hispanics in the Caliphate?

I worked for 14 years in the Middle East and have insight into why Muslim women tend to value abayas/burqass (a loose flowing black gown), hijabs (a scarf or head covering), and veils covering everything but the eyes.

Muslim women have related to me that they enjoy the ability to go shopping and otherwise go out without men gawking and staring at them. Of course, this has to be in the context of Muslim men assuming that women without full-body coverings are signaling their sexual availability. The three go together … the abayas, hijabs, and Muslim culture. Under this assumption, all Western women are signaling their sexual availability. Given these signals, yes, Muslim men from the Middle East gawk at, stare at, and, if the women are foreign, may grope or assault them.

The funniest story I’ve read about in this regard is four Saudi military who arrived in the United States for training. All four were arrested for sexual assault before they left the airport.

As more Muslim men immigrate to Europe and the United States, my guess is that Western women (including feminists) will come to appreciation the new-found freedom and security that abayas, hijabs, and face veils bring them. There is also an aphorism that captures this situation:

“You’ve made your own bed, now lie in it.” — Unknown

    Don't overthink a simple thing.

The only idea driving the leftoids is their pathological hatred of Christianity. They'll support whoever is killing Christians at the moment, regardless of ideology. Simple as that.

(This is also the reason why they were supporting communism five decades ago. Labor rights had nothing to do with it.)

Yes, they hate Christianity, but why? Is it because of Jewish bigotry?

Well, I guess a "wonder what's under there?" burka is better than the yoga pants/bicycle shorts fatties I see all the time.

I was going to comment on the same thing, Buffalo Joe. The yoga pants are a real problem for me, most of the time. Depending on the venue, yoga pants do not work for women (or for me, I should say) from 90 – 99% of the time. At Wal-Mart, for example, we’re at the low end of yoga-pants suitability – probably 99% of the women wearing them should ABSOLUTELY! NOT! DO! THAT!. On a college campus, we’re still at, say 90% these days. For the other 10%, well, it’s almost like them being naked (good naked, that is).

Man, whatever happened to just tight jeans? The girls that shouldn’t wear them just wore not-s0-tight jeans, but they looked so good on many of them.

I agree with most here, that the burka can only cover up 10-20 extra pounds. Who do these women think they’re fooling? Someday, an enterprising young man will invent shoes with load cells and transmitters for sending weight numbers to any iphones in range. (Yeah, we can make an app for that.) What then, ladies?

One thing that stands out among the Leftists of today as you say is a pathological hatred of Christianity and especially white male Christians.

Christianity, at least in public life, is too much a spent force to continue to arouse such ‘pathological hatred’

It has to be something else. The white and male part, more likely. They’re not ramming ‘Christian Privilege’ down the throats of impressionable undergrads, after all.

And given that Muslims want to kill off Christians, that makes them allies of the Left.

But Islam, even hard-core, commands leaving Christians more or less alone (provided they essentially submit).

It makes no such concessions for feminist atheists. They get thrown from rooftops.

‘Feminist Islamophilia’ looks like a variation of Sailer’s Law of Female Journalism.

Also, the fact that muslims never have, and probably never could, pull an Auschwitz on you-know-who must be highly relevant here.

Trying to get Muslims to organize something is akin to trying to herd cats. The current 100,000-man Iraqi attack on Mosul is a case in point.

See this is where I’ve got to chime in again with a plug for us libertarians/constitutionalists again – I know I’m sounding like a broken record corrupted MP-3 file, but listen:

    Opinionater, this part:

we cannot discard as a primary factor Western men’s abdicating their role as men. To name one example, their unwillingness to defend group territory and resources from invasion.

leaves out a lot of background.

Men have a very good reason to not get involved in a deal that could wipe out many years of their lives based on a court ruling. Portions of your life have indeed been taken from you when your money and other assets are stolen and “redistributed” – this money represents months or years of your labor, and unless you have a job that you just love most of the time, that means months/years of your life have been taken.

I was in a hurry and didn't get the the end there. The high risk for shortening of one's effective lifespan is only part of the only reason marriage is a bad deal for men. Within the marriage men have lost a lot of the control of things (getting to Opinionator's point now). All it takes now is for the woman to be not pleased with everything for her to threaten, or go through with separation or divorce, knowing the state will take up the slack via some type of redistribution scheme.

That could put the man in a bad spot, depending on whether a) there are his kids involved and/or b) if he has lots of assets and time invested. Do to the implied threat to his ability to raise his kids properly and to his accumulated labor the man will have no leverage and therefore, even before any big trouble, feels he can't control his wife to any degree that is really necessary, especially with regard to her associations and any idiotic feminist politics and that sort of thing.

Yes, many women really don't intend to act like they are a threat and there are many good ones who will never have any part in that type of behavior, but there is no way to know that for sure ahead of time.

To summarize, female suffrage and leftist/feminist ideas of men leads to lack of control of government growth, which leads to the welfare state, excessive regulation/control of what used to be family business, and a police-state restribution apparatus that one man cannot fight. This leads to a lack of control of family lives by men, which leads to women getting major control of society, which leads to eventual collapse. That's how it's working now, and I wouldn't be surprised if that's what happened in old BagDad, but I'm no historian.*

Yeah, to the extent feminists are pro Muslim, it has to do with having the same enemies, not agreeing on anything. And this is enhanced because feminists are much more likely to be given a voice in mainstream publications if they’re bashing white Christians and supporting Muslims than the other way around.

Are many feminist women as stupid and short-sighted as Sailer jokingly suggests?

    Absolutely!

What drives Liberalism is a hatred, often to the death, of what used to be Christendom. That does not mean hatred for the actual geography, but for the peoples who are descendants of those who made and ran Christendom. Liberalism is a rebellion against Christendom, which requires 2 things: 1) a desire to make most white Gentiles little better than serfs; and 2) an endless romanticizing of all religious beliefs and groups that are not part of 'historic' Christendom.

Islam is merely the new and improved (because nothing under the sun is new) form of atheist Marxism run primarily by Jews.

Far as I can tell, liberalism is a hedonist death cult that seeks excesses of all things in praise of the Individual, but especially, ultimate self-destruction.

That's like 1% of the female population. But ANYBODY can cover up. This is why so many Muslim women actually find niqab/burqa "empowering", because it allows them to hide what they perceive as their flaws in the most tantalizing way possible.

Yea except most marriages in the Islamic world are arranged. Often to extended family members at that. What are they competing for? It’s not a free market of sex out there. It’s mostly restricted to choices made by others.

Don’t know if this is what you’re referring to or not, but Egyptian women covered-the-fuck-up (and voted for the Muslim Brotherhood) because of the joys of “Whiskey! Democracy! Sexy!” feminism that (ironically) people like “Evil Neocon” thought was the way of the Arab Future a few years back.

Women cover up for different reasons.

In post-Mubarak Egypt they did ao to decrease their odds of getting raped.

Over the past 4 years in Stamboul it has been owing to the snowball of control by families who were religious or pretending to be. This also sparked a fashion renaissance that isn’t inconsequential.

These dumb, trifling women take something potentially harmful and destructive and turn it into just another fashion statement for themselves to wave about in yet another attempt to distinguish themselves from the masses. It's really overdue for the women of sense to start verbalizing their discontent with what's been said supposedly on behalf of all women. This isn't funny anymore.
I'm waiting for commenter Whisky to give us his take on all this.

Yeah, if Whisky can’t explain all this, NOBODY can.

What’s amazing, in regard to the population comments, is that up until like the year 2000, maybe later, it was an absolute pillar of liberal internationalism that we should be given out free condoms to all Africans and teaching them not to reproduce, at least partly due to population control concerns. It was an article of faith among the left that more Africans = bad. This was just a few years ago!!

It's about complete and utter ignorance of the lives of Muslim women in second/third world countries.

The best analogy would be Steve's essays on women programmers. When the script was simple and involved rote memorization and regurgitation of simple calculations - they performed well because there was no need to innovate. Once the uncertainty of billions more permutations of advanced coding was introduced and creative thinking/problem solving became important, they started lagging.

Women want to embrace Islam because it simplifies their lives and reduces competition and the need for complex thinking. For them, Islam gives them a rubric for life - all they need for social recognition/advancement/value is to abide by its relatively simple and natural rules.

You’re being unfair on women programmers. MOST coding is ‘grunt’ work – you have to have a brain to do it, but not a genius-level brain.

The ‘three guys in a garage writing a compiler for that new processor’ brain, or coding real-time missile-control assembly-language brain, is rarer.

That's like 1% of the female population. But ANYBODY can cover up. This is why so many Muslim women actually find niqab/burqa "empowering", because it allows them to hide what they perceive as their flaws in the most tantalizing way possible.

From my experiences, most of these “American liberal women” are non-white, non-Christian, lesbians or if they are white/Christian married to non-white and/or non-Christian men. Bashar Assad is at close to half a million in only 5 years . “But while this robe seems to be a form of conservative Islamic dress, one of the starkest signs of difference between Nadia and non-Islamic readers, she is more daring than Saeed. She is the one who offers him marijuana and psychedelic mushrooms, and she is the one who initiates sex. The robe, it turns out, is camouflage to allow Nadia to be an independent woman.”

Using drugs and giving into animal drives = independent woman?

Libertine-ism leads more to Free Swill than Free Will.

Will implies control, restraint, vision, agenda, and destiny. Something long-term.
Will is about going against gravity and climbing a mountain. That requires will.

Human nature is programmed to prefer Swill. Easiness, comfort, pleasure, fun. It prefers the smooth slide to the hard climb. That requires no Will.

Western Freedom used to be mean the power of Will. To use freedom to pursue a destiny with determination, discipline, conviction, sacrifice, and self-control.
Now, western freedom is mostly a Succumbing to Swill. Pig out, orgy-porgy, hedonism, infantilism.

It’s like in THE BOUNTY. Hopkins is about Will. Gibson is about Swill.
Now, we all need some swill and ‘all will and no play makes hopkins a dull boy’.
But we need to know of the dangers of Swill. It leads to dissipation.
One can be exhausted from too much Will. But one can be enervated by too much Swill… like Ottoman Sultans who did little else but have orgies and pig out.

Unless individual liberty is hardened by values and vision, it leads to Free Swill than Free Will.

Anyway, Nadia’s idea of ‘independent womanhood’ is drugs and unfettered horniness under the robe.
She is Miley Cyrus or Lena Dunham under a veil. Zzzzzzzzz.

Maybe one appeal of Islamism is that even Libs sense that western decadence has gone TOO FAR. Taboos are fun to break against convention.
When no one bats an eye at the antics of Cyrus or Dunham, decadence and degeneracy are not racy and daring anymore. As the new norm, they’ve become boring.
They are yawn-worthy. Feminists go around baring their breasts, and no one even cares. I mean even kids see tons of boob photos on the net. Boobery is all over cable TV.

So, to bring back some sense of daring and raciness, Liberalism craves some conventions of control and restraint. A western woman doling out drugs and putting out for sex is dime-a-dozen. But a woman in a veil doing such things? Ooooooh, there’s an element of daring, taboo, danger. More Arabian Nights, the new 1001 stories. (I suspect one of the reasons why there are so many dead lover stories is it’s the only way we can restore romance in fiction. When society was more restrained and moral, there was courtship and longing before consummation, and that made romance possible. Romance isn’t possible if some guy banged everyone, some woman banged everyone, and they banged each other the moment they met. There is no sense of myth, as in VERTIGO. For there to be romance, there has to be some distance, some barrier, some obstacle.. that fuels longing that feeds imagination. Because our times are so libertine, the only way to create that distance is by having a lover die, whereupon it becomes a Orpheus and Eurydice story.)

The Arab Sheik used to be object of fancy. Rudoph Valentino. Fairbanks and Thief of Baghdad. Mystery of the Orient. (I guess Said wasn’t exactly right about Orient being the female.) And part of the appeal of Arabia for Lawrence was he could mix cold dry modernity of the West with the mysticism & romanticism of the Arab.

Now, it’s time for women to play Laura of Arabia.

Don't underestimate the prevalence among women of a desire to be dominated.

When I knew them, they were panting for 9 1/2 Weeks -- One even gave me her paperback copy of the book, complete with her penciled-in annotations, early in our relationship, as a guide to her liberated femininity.

It has more to do with economics than dominance. There are a lot of women out there who’d like to return to the traditional family structure of the wife stays home and raises the kids while the man works. The women just want the men to be able to make enough money in a modern economy to pull it off and be financially comfortable. Most white men can’t do this anymore on one income. So some women are looking upon the burka as a symbol of tradition, and they’re shrewd enough to realize that not every Arab male is poor. There’s a certain amount of oil money floating around in monied Arab families, and white women are very well aware that Arab women do not match Western women in desirableness on the marriage market. Arabian women are short, squat, dark-skinned, inbred and dumb. They do not breed quality children. Arab men know this, too. All they have to do is look around their own societies and see the lack of success and initiative compared to Western societies.

Arab women would not be dressing in a sexy style under burkas if they didn’t sense serious competition. If it weren’t for the tradition of arranged marriages and the insistence on marrying inside the Islamic religion, Arab males would bolt and chase after Western white women the way blacks do. A lot of propaganda about how great Islam is is coming from Arab men and it’s being directed towards white Western women. The Arab men are trying to persuade Western women to convert so they become marriageable. Single, liberal Western women in a dead-end job and resentful that they can’t attract a white male are susceptible to this propaganda since it feeds their fantasies of money and security.

They’re always operating on about fifteen different levels, with an overlapping mess of different goals which sometimes directly contradict each other.

The good news is, some women are self-aware enough to understand this. My best relationships have always been with women who just came out and admitted it — heck, I married one. :)

I used to be perplexed by the Left’s unconditional support of Islam and Muslim immigration while still going out of their way to condemn and mock even the nicest Christians. After all, I used to think, don’t Muslims strongly oppose many of the leftists’ most cherished beliefs while Christians had been mostly “tamed”.

Then I finally figured they are not motivated by any positive feelings towards Muslims or other designated victim groups. It’s their visceral hatred for Western Civilization and Christianity that inevitably makes them embrace anything evil and destructive no matter how contradictory to their own professed beliefs.

Maybe it’s his wife who has a catty view of women. Steve has mentioned that his wife doesn’t appreciate child-less feminists claiming to speak for all women. Plus, those are her boys too.

What causes women to have to compete against each other on looks?

They even compete against themselves. Have you ever seen a woman walk past a mirror and not check herself out? Instinct makes them do it. A once-random behavior, consciously repeated over 7 million years leads to a better survival rate for her and her kids. It gets in the DNA. If men didn’t look, women would stop, in another 7 million years or so.

President Trump and the Patriotic GOP need more White women voters.

Say a bad word about teachers' unions and you'll see what I mean, for sure. President Trump should carefully pick a fight with them just for the hell of it. It will be fun, and the Patriotic GOP ladies will think it's funny.

Even if they don't have families, White women want a champion who will slay the dragons menacing their safety and security. President Trump is the man with the Andrew Jackson fighting spirit to do it.

White women will respond if they feel that the Patriotic GOP will keep the peace in the valley and the bad elements away.

President Trump and the Patriotic GOP need more White women voters.

We need more white voters period. Trump received 53 percent of the white female vote. But we need 60 percent-plus of the this group and of whites in general. Given what the other side has in mind for White America, it’s a travesty whites don’t vote in similar percentages as blacks.

(male intelligence being a close second to baseball statistics in a turn off for women) and stupidly aggressive.

Whiskey always spews this, doesn’t understand that it is some of the common, but, fortunately for me, not universal, collaterals to intelligence that women find offputting.

    The nerdiness, etc.

If you’re intelligent, but a regular guy otherwise, women actually consider intelligence a plus. They just don’t like nerds.

Whiskey is a nerd and intelligent guy from his writings. I don’t know anything about the dude other than he seems to think the worst of women and attributes his failures with women to his intelligence, in a weird way validating his superiority to himself, he’s proud of his intelligence, rather than attributing it more accurately to his nerdiness, which would be injurious to his self-image.

Does that about sum it up, Whiskey?

Anyhow, to me, the mark of a smart dude is using his intelligence to further his goals. Honestly, how smart can a guy really be if he is unsuccessful with that most basic of male goals, women?

All I can say is that it is a real book by a real guy, and the book (1978) itself is very hard to get a hold of. However, to anticipate your disbelief, the para immediately following reads:

When I first read these contemporary
    descriptions of tenth-century Baghdad, I
could scarcely believe my eyes. I told myself
that this must be a joke! The descriptions
might have been taken out of The Times
today. The resemblance of all the details was
especially breathtaking— the break-up of the
empire, the abandonment of sexual morality,
the 'pop' singers with their guitars, the entry
of women into the professions, the five-day
week. I would not venture to attempt an
explanation! There are so many mysteries
about human life which are far beyond our
    comprehension .

I’ve read it too. It fell off a digital truck. Very interesting. As is the fact that an Englishman could still be known unironically as Pasha in the later 1970s.

I found one in my internet travels a few years ago (filename The.Fate.of.Empires.by.Sir.John.Glubb.pdf ) which is 42 pages long and appears to also include the Search for Survival (contrast with 26 page PDFs out there now). Unfortunately I think the site I got it from is no longer up.

Could you ping the passing bulk bags with ultrasound and work out the mass/density (from something reasonably discreet, with a form factor a bit like a laser distance measure)?

Ample with many suffering from low level rickets which I have to think lowers IQ a bit. Lo level rickets due to low vitamin D due to rarely catching any sun. Women in hijabs ‘need sunlight or risk illness’
    July 2007

Muslim women who wear the hijab are at risk of serious illness because they do not get enough sun, doctors have warned.
They said an alarming number of women who cover their skin are suffering bone deficiencies over a lack of vitamin D.
Most of the body’s vitamin D – which prevents rickets – is obtained through sunlight acting on the skin. Only a little comes from food.

Doctors told a London conference today that people with dark pigment are at risk because of “cultural reasons” and because they are less efficient at producing the vitamin.
The bone disorder rickets has now broken out in young Muslim children as babies are not getting enough calcium from mothers’ breast milk.

  165. Before attempting to answer the question of what feminist Islamophilia is really about, I think we ought to examine the premise of whether there really is any feminist Islamophilia. I’m not convinced that there is.

When it’s only a few bat-crazy harridans demanding special treatment for Muslims, you can be sure that these are just the same old professional agitators engaging in their typical stock-in-trade. But as far as your normal SWPL woman who vaguely self-identifies as a feminist goes, any Islamophilic sentiments she expresses are just shallow virtue-signalling according to the fashions of the day, not a deeply held conviction that she’s actually thought about.

Female competition is real. This is why modest school uniforms at girls schools promote friendship and solidarity. This is also why enemies of a stable, traditional society successfully eroticiozed the Catholic school girl outfit.
Modesty in dress allows girls to become better friends:

Close. I’d say it’s a rebellion against God Himself, not just against Christendom.

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/global-opinions/sweden-immigrants-and-trumps-post-enlightenment-world/2017/03/12/97ea9c32-05b1-11e7-b1e9-a05d3c21f7cf_story.html?utm_term=.241eef69b301#comments

Apparently, all this talk about trouble with Muslim and black immigrants in Sweden is caused by fake news and documentaries.

That’s very discouraging. She doesn’t realize that the Swedish media twists the truth and at times, outright lies.

The Swedish police are on a leash too.

Remember after Charlie Hebdo, Fox News (I’m pretty sure it was them) discussed no go regions in Paris?

The mayor of Paris threatened to sue them, denying no go zones existed.

I suppose one could get persnickety about what “no go” means, but I’ve never heard of any actual follow up. Did she sue? I once tried to find out using Google and I couldn’t find anything. She lied.

Since then, France has had one problem after the other with the MENAs.

Well, if all the Millennial hipsters are into that, maybe the Amish life can be sold to them. Be a foodie, be around men with ironic facial hair, be a woman dressing so that they can be mysterious and not lose weight, plus no clitoral removal or honor killings. A win-win.

Hipsters specialize their taste in everything: looks, style, eating and living habits, etc., ostensibly to stand out but as usual it makes them overwhelming same-same. To me at least. (Who is no hipster but definitely modern.) The fact that they're arbitrarily picking old, premodern things, in addition to all the ultra-modern things, is neither here nor there.

All I can say is that it is a real book by a real guy, and the book (1978) itself is very hard to get a hold of. However, to anticipate your disbelief, the para immediately following reads:

When I first read these contemporary
    descriptions of tenth-century Baghdad, I
could scarcely believe my eyes. I told myself
that this must be a joke! The descriptions
might have been taken out of The Times
today. The resemblance of all the details was
especially breathtaking— the break-up of the
empire, the abandonment of sexual morality,
the 'pop' singers with their guitars, the entry
of women into the professions, the five-day
week. I would not venture to attempt an
explanation! There are so many mysteries
about human life which are far beyond our
    comprehension .

It's about complete and utter ignorance of the lives of Muslim women in second/third world countries.

Not all women are the same!

Furthermore, I spent decades as a computer programmer.

While I accept the women on average are less skilled than men on average in STEM fields, there’s plenty of overlap of the bell curves (the standard deviation for women is less than for men, making the far right tale almost entirely male).

Think of height. I’m only 2″ taller than the average for women (I’m 5’6″). But I often run into men shorter than me.

I am really surprised to see such a comment here. I thought the commenters here were a bit smarter than average and understood what bell curves were,

After watching “The Bachelor,” the season finale tonight, I got some ideas about hijabs/niqabs and all. Of course, I would have picked Raven (non-neurotic; basic; lovely) over Vanessa…but I am not a man. The finale was in Lapland, in Finland, which was the primary reason I watched….but I was fascinated to watch the show for many reasons.

The audience seemed to be overwhelmingly, close to all, middle-aged women. SO, my theory why so many liberal women are “good with” hijabs/niqabs/swarthy refugees is: “men will still pick us for our brains”…or something. Seriously…I know all you guys are laughing at this point, but in some sick way, women feel that perhaps, if they wear a giant bag over their bodies, the essence of their personality will be more respected by men (even misogynistic men) since it is “fair and all.” bc: “we as a society, shouldn’t be so judgy about women’s bodies.” hahhaaa – you guys know I think most women are evil!

I know this sounds utterly ridiculous to all you cerebral guys here; however, I was struck by how many women in the audience did not think Raven (from Arkansas, a nobody, a small shop owner) was “the one,” for Nick; over the more glamorous Vanessa, from Montreal, CA. Vanessa, also was a teacher, so educated….although I do not know Raven’s background (if college educated) since I don’t follow the Bachelor franchise. Finland was beautiful tonight, btw.

So, in a twisted way, so many ordinary American women may welcome traditional males (even if they are wife-beating pigs) into their life, if the fantasy of being thought of as “the one,” may come true.

The last 20 years girls have been told to pursue a career at all costs. They get many benefits ahead of their male peers in college, job openings, promotions. Yet, when I look at the stats for who adopts the most pets from Petfinder, the majority are single women in their 30-40′s.

If they can’t get the rose, they will settle for wearing a burqua if they can still pursue their career and adopt their pets. It’s not about love anymore…it seems to be financial survival into old age.

Raven was lovely; I hope one of my sons can find her somewhere.

I was thinking of the French Revolution, more than the more recent communist ones, even with all the festivals to the Supreme Being. Or perhaps because of those. Dickens characterized it as the Republic of "Liberty, Equality, Fraternity, or Death". And the public, ritual fascination with executions, as opposed to the concentration camps tucked away. A people turned into a mob, as opposed to a nation confused and afraid. There are similarities between revolutions, of course, since circumstances change but human nature does not.

Alt-rightists say women should be subordinate. Well Islam supports marital rape, spousal abuse, and women as property. Maybe they should welcome the Muslim takeover.

Pre-feminist Western mores were something closer to sexual socialism than the sexual despotism of Islamic society. More importantly though, Islam is fundamentally Arab supremacist — and it’s really never good to be conquered. Almost tempting though.

One thing that stands out among the Leftists of today as you say is a pathological hatred of Christianity and especially white male Christians.

'Feminist Islamophilia' looks like a variation of Sailer's Law of Female Journalism.

Also, the fact that muslims never have, and probably never could, pull an Auschwitz on you-know-who must be highly relevant here.

The reason that Muslims haven’t committed a Holocaust is that they could not have organized one. … although the mass executions of Shiites and Christians by ISIS come close in at least parodying the original SS death squads.

Trying to get Muslims to organize something is akin to trying to herd cats. The current 100,000-man Iraqi attack on Mosul is a case in point.

Now, there are actual modern primitives. People who go live in communes for reelz, instead of merely growing their own tomatoes, or whatever. They're usually playacting. If they aren't, they still don't adopt traditional mindsets. They're aberrations, but not total ones.

Modernism is reinventing every wheel/rootless cosmopolitanism.

The reason that Muslims haven't committed a Holocaust is that they could not have organized one. ... although the mass executions of Shiites and Christians by ISIS come close in at least parodying the original SS death squads.

Trying to get Muslims to organize something is akin to trying to herd cats. The current 100,000-man Iraqi attack on Mosul is a case in point.

I’m not so sure about that. The Ottomans were more than a bit islamic.

No catholic would either, as final result. But temporary, from a human perspective? It stands to reason. "An" not "the" upper hand, you see, in the battle between good and evil.

The prodigal often has an upper hand on the faithful, and each generation eventually gains the upper hand on the generation that came before – if it were not so there would be no generation(s) at all – but, no, no created thing or entity, let alone mere man, ever gains an upper hand on God.

    “Gender Studies” in a nutshell.

    Islaminatrix is the latest ‘perversion’.

In a way, all this gender-madness sort of makes sense. No matter what the race, religion, nationality, ethnicity, cult, or community, all humans are sexual beings, and we all exist because of sex(of parents). For most of humanity’s existence, sexuality was animal-and-functional. People went into heat, had sex, and produced life, and that is why humanity survived. It was on the level of eating raw meat and veggies to survive.

But with civilization, order, and more freedom, sexuality became like cooking. Not just animal and natural but cultural and complicated. Also, the need for moral order and social repression made sexuality go in the closet or remain in the bedroom. Sex became associated with moral-social-cultural duty or with romance & cult of beauty.
Some spiritual systems even forbade it because flesh got in the way of spirit. Jainists and Shakers. Buddhism and Christianity didn’t forbid it but preferred that their followers gave up on sex and marriage and become totally spiritual.

Also, intellectualism also worked against sexuality or at least against basic sexual drive. To be an intellectual is to elevate the mind over the stomach and the groin, even above the heart. It is as if the mind is separate from the body mired in the primal stew of base drives and desires. So, philosophy tackled the Higher Subjects of life and sought ‘meaning’ and ‘significance’. Mind moved upward whereas body plowed downwards. As the mind advanced into new loftier realms, it sought closer proximity to the gods of wisdom. In contrast, as the body sought freedom and release, it slid back into the primal soup of instincts and drives.

For much of Western History(or any history of any high civilization), sexuality had to be kept under wraps, in the back-burner, in the closet. In that sense, everyone was like an ersatz-homosexual, which may explain why even straight people root for or identify with homos. Homos had to hide the fact that they were homo. Straight people didn’t have to hide their sexual orientation, but they still had to hide their sexuality and sexual expression, the Beavisy ‘boing’. So, homos were in a closet within a closet, and straights were in a closet. So, when homos found ‘liberation’ and ‘came out’, even straights piggybacked on their ‘liberation’ and ‘rebellion’. If homos, once demeaned as lowly, can shamelessly celebrate their sexuality, then why not straight people? So, homos were seen as the vanguard of sexual liberation since they had more to struggle for and more to gain. (But homos are strange because they are both most natural and most unnatural sexually. Studies show that homos tend to be more horny than straights. Homo men have many many more partners than straight men. So, homos hump each other like wild rabbits. In this sense, they surrender most to natural drive of sexual energy. But their kind of ‘sex’ isn’t real sex. It’s involves weird combination of body parts, some of which weren’t meant for sex. Also, sex is, at its biological root, process of reproduction, but homos can NEVER produce offsprings with homo male stuff or homo female stuff. Penis up the anus or two vaginas grinding isn’t real sex. So, on some level, homos know they are a strange breed, especially as some of them have a strange blend of female and male attributes. So, despite their raw naturalness in sexual drive, they are also unnatural in their creative escapism from the basic laws of nature. So, homos tend to be over-represented in both the most base raunchy kind of sexual culture and the most elegant & refined domain of high art & intellectualism. Indeed, given the natural strangeness of homosexuality, homos have had to cook up intellectual rationalization for it and its practices. Also, since the basic facts of homosexuality is pretty foul or funny — penis up the anus is ewwww — , homos have had to conjure up creative magical displays, like ‘homo rainbow’, to make the West sway ‘gay’.)

In a way, every profession is repressed because they are essentially asexual or above-sexual. Almost every profession requires that sexuality be kept under the lid. A judge, accountant, lawyer, professor, engineer, pilot, truck driver, policeman, and etc cannot be sexual on the job. Also, some professions or calling are seen as noble, wise, and holy. Like being a rabbi or priest, and such people are supposed to be above ‘base desires’. And yet, they are humans too, so they must be hiding something in the closet, be it normal-natural or deviant. A rabbi could have sexual fantasies about wife eating pork while a shikse whips him. A priest can have feelings for a young teenager. Even if a Catholic priest’s desire is normal and healthy — for a young attractive woman — , he is not supposed to express such feelings like a Negro might.
Their professions are either un-sexual or above-sexual, but they are still humans, and who knows what lurks in the hearts and loins of people? So many parents trusted Sandusky as an elderly coach and mentor to young boys, but…

For most of civilizational history, the ideas moved upward and upward, toward greater complexity and higher meaning. (So did classical music.) Consider the trajectory of rational philosophy in the West or moral philosophy in the East. Since it favored the mind and/or the heart, the animal drives of loins had to be suppressed. Sexuality was something to tame, control, and keep in the cage, like the ‘lovebirds’ in Hitchcock’s THE BIRDS.
And this repression directed human energies toward higher forms of thoughts, values, and expressions in the arts. Though Western Art has lots of nudes, they are not pornographic. That’s where Paglia is wrong. Sure, some are sensual and have elements of eroticism but beauty is manifested in sublime graceful ways that anesthetize animal feelings…. though Caravaggio was edgier. Classical Western nude art, especially in Christian era, is sensuality spiritualized. It’s like Adam of Michelangelo’s SISTINE CHAPEL is NOT like a Playgirl model.
Also, the sexual element in art was also restrained by flaccid penises on sculptures and rounder figures than sexy hourglass figures on the women. Flaccid penis gave the impression that even a nude man had something on his mind other than the beavisy boing. And the rounder figures on the women made them look maternal than babe-ish.

Because ideas were separated from the ‘boing factor’, the trajectory of Western Civilization was once unpredictable. The mind has countless permutations of possibilities in theory and speculation. In contrast, the human body has a basic formula. Let it free, and it just settles for a few variations of ‘boing’. Mind like a Boeing plane. It soars and explores all sorts of new terrains. Loin is like ‘boing’. There isn’t much difference among dogs, chimps, and humans when it comes to basic sexual drives. In our shameless culture, the trajectory of culture has been easy to predict since the ‘sexual revolution’. More Afro-jungle-ism and more homo-decadentism. So, from ass-shaking to bumping-and-grinding to ‘twerking’. What’s next? Nude musical stars screwing while performing. It’s the simple trajectory of shameless sexuality. Homomania is more complex than Afromania. If black men and women wanna be crazy studs and ho’s, homos have this aristo-mentality that wants to be revered and worshiped. If Afromania couldn’t be contained the church and came out of the church(like homos came out of the closet), homomania wants to enter the church and take over as the new god. Black gospel singers used to sing and dance wild in the church until the realized their minds were more about partying with ho’s than praising da lawd. Because white ‘racists’ of the past sought to contain black savagery, they forced Christianity on the blacks, and Church life defined black culture. But as time passed and blacks got more freedom, they figured it’s more fun to be dancing in the streets than in the church. In contrast, even though homos remained in the closet, their orientation was never thought of as holy or good. If anything, the Bible says homos are wicked. But homos being creative, sensitive, refined, and vain, were not satisfied with mere raunchy and wild sexuality. As natural aristocrats in emotions, they want to be adored and revered. So, once the homos got tired of prancing in the streets, they began to preach from the pulpit as the new holy icons of decadent christianity.

Anyway, sexuality is a basic drive, like hunger and thirst. As such, it has a considerable hold even on people with respectable occupations like professor, priest, rabbi, scientist, statesman, judge, and etc. It’s like that Mishima short story, “Priest and His Love”. It’s like the homo military commander in MERRY X-MAS MR. LAWRENCE.

    http://www.101bananas.com/library2/priestshiga.html

While some people just settle for basic sexual morality of love, courtship, and marriage, the fact is modern freedoms have allowed all sorts of people lots of leeway to ‘explore’ their sexuality. And this is where ‘gender’ identity becomes crucial. It’s not just about male and female but all sorts of variations in between depending on one’s leanings, neuroses, hangups, fetishes, obsessions, and etc. (Gender-Quest has become a kind of rite of passage among millennials. The difference between the past and now is this. In the past, genuinely weird sexual types were marginalized or persecuted, and therefore, they had to pretend to be normal or find subtle or subversive ways to express their true nature. In contrast, most people who go on Gender Quests today are perfectly normal and would be happy with real sexuality, the kind where men and women like one another. Or like the All in the Family Song where men are men and women are women. BUT, because kids are hit with Gender Politics and Homomania from such a young age — and bombarded with pop culture filled with deviant images cooked up by homos and decadents — , even the normal ones think maybe there’s more to their sexuality or ‘gender’ than normal stuff. Besides, you earn extra pokemon points the less normal you are. So, it’s no surprise that over 40% of British millennials say they are unsure of their ‘gender’. Just feel what you have between your legs, idiots.)

Also, as noble as high-minded or complex ideas may be, ideas are easily lost or forgotten. Maybe Kant and Descartes were great thinkers, but ideas are dead unless people are constantly disseminate them and keep them alive. Ideas don’t spring from one’s basic nature.
Also, high ideas are understood only by a few. How many people read the great works of western philosophy or understand them?
In contrast, there is something ‘democratic’ and spontaneously-generating about ‘gender’ since everyone, from the most intelligent to the most dumb, shares in sexual drives. Granted, ‘gender politics’ has become associated with elite academia and culture, but sex culture, like food, is ‘understood’ and experienced by everyone, rich and poor, smart and dumb. So, even though Western folks may not get much of Islamic religion or philosophy, the image of Islamic woman in hijab as sexy babe has immediate appeal. If Muslim woman is reduced to a sex object, even non-Muslims ‘get’ it.

The strange case of Freud was that his ‘philosophy’ moved up while plowing down. Freud came up with highfalutin theories and played the role of scientific thinker to the hilt. He was a mental Boeing soaring high and mighty… but on the subject of Boing. He was like a bomber. Not flying higher and higher to reach the stars but flying just high enough to gain respectability in bourgeois society to drop Truth Bombs of Boing on society.
This contradiction of Freudianism was very much in keeping in modernism where ultra-intellectualism reconnected with primitivism, like Picasso’s complicated artistic expression inspired by African sculptures.

Freudianism was useful in its time because society was still moralistic and respectable. If someone like Howard Stern had come along then, he would have been locked up(maybe in a loony bin) in most civilized places. But Freud could get away with his stuff on sexual drive of Boing because he maintained the proper composure as an intellectual Boeing. Sure, he was talking about base drives BUT from a scientific perch to understand it better.

But with the passing of yrs, as modern society became more permissive and shameless, the need or the pretense of serious thought was no longer necessary to deal with Boing. No need to soar to score with the whore. Just go boing in a straight and direct way. We now live in a world of massive homo celebration festivals in big cities. We now have high school dances where young ones dance like prostitutes aping African tribal women.

And there is rap culture and afromania. If the cultural trajectory of the West was difficult to ascertain in the past because mind-centricism cooked up many ideas, values, and visions — consider the differences among various philosophers among Greeks, Romans, French, German, Anglo, Russian, Jewish, etc. — , the trajectory is now easy to predict since the Rule of the Body is pretty simple: hunger, lust, comfort, fun.

So, in music, sex, pop culture, movies, and etc., we are moving toward more raw sexuality and more perversion, or perversion as the reversion.
It used to be the West was about conversion to higher truth, spirit, or values.
Now, it’s about reversion to animal drives and sensual fetishes.

Afromania tends to be raw and raunchy. It’s like African tribal behavior. It’s a world gone bongo.

Sensual fetishes tend to be more complicated because, despite their excesses, they feed on taboos, repressions, and subversion. Afromania is about shamelessness. It’s about black man and black woman on the dance floor hump-dancing without complexes or worries.

In contrast, sexual fetishes are vestiges of repression or anxieties. And we see this in the Islaminatrix. Islam is sexually repressive. It is highly moralistic, even puritanical.
And yet, its anti-sexualism poses a challenge and ‘delicious’ possibilities who seek to go under the veil. It spices things up if handled in a ‘creative’ manner. It’s not about the reversion to jungle-ism but artful game of repression & release toward ‘creative’ perversion.

Without such taboos, fetishes are not possible. As society becomes more libertine and permissive, can fetishes survive? In a way, yes, IF there are new modes of repression.
Indeed, even Afromania can become fetishized. White Liberals are repressed in their own way due to their ‘anti-racism’. They tell themselves that race is just a social construct, and there are no racial differences among races, which is all pseudo-science cooked up by ‘nazis’.
But they can’t help noticing differences despite their ideological puritanism.
White liberal men can’t help noticing that Jack Johnson whupped white butts and that blacks dominate NFL and NBA. They can’t help noticing that their white female friends express interest in the Negro as Superfly.
But how can that be when race is just a social construct and there are no racial differences?
According to Liberalism, a Japanese is just a yellow Nigerian, and a Nigerian is just a black Japanese. And a Jewish person is just a Semitic Peruvian Indian, and a Peruvian Indian is just a mesoAmerican Jew. The problem is reality doesn’t play out that way.

In a way, the white liberal male is both approving of and perplexed by interracism. After all, if all races are the same, why shouldn’t white females mix with black males? People are people. But if some white females prefer black males over white males due to racial differences, then interracism undermines the liberal narrative and proves that racial differences do exist and account for why some women prefer men of certain races over others. This leads to anxiety that leads to fetishism.
Thus, there are three levels of fetishism in the white Liberal cuck. On one level, he tries to exorcise his own ‘racism’ at the discomfort of a white woman going black. After all, even white Liberal men admit that, despite conscious rejection of ‘racism’, they may be unconsciously ‘racist’. On another level, he is turned on by the superior Negro with the white woman. But then, the idea that the Negro is superior to the white man as humper undermines the Liberal narratie of racial equality. It means racial differences are real. And that leads to third level of anxiety.

With Afromania and Homomania such a big part of Western popular culture and sexual iconography, maybe the only to add spice and flavor is to somehow tie Islam with sexual licentiousness. It is surely a challenge given the nature of Islam, but then, sexual perversion and fetishism feeds on problems and obstacles.

For a woman out in public a head scarf is the minimum and is mandatory in Iran. But working within this (head scarves) Iranian women have thousands of ways of signalling anything including hotness and availability. Not for sex but interested in male attentions.

Iranians are the most intelligent Muslims. They need to flush those Ayatollahs down the drain. They have no rational reason to be Muslim. I have no problem with Zoroastrianism and the Persians need to return to it/.

But they aren’t going to return to Zoroastrianism are they? If they abandon Islam they will adopt western liberalism and western liberalism will destroy their society as surely as it has destroyed western society. Why would it be a good thing for them to adopt a death cult like liberalism?

See this is where I've got to chime in again with a plug for us libertarians/constitutionalists again - I know I'm sounding like a broken record corrupted MP-3 file, but listen:

    Opinionater, this part:

we cannot discard as a primary factor Western men’s abdicating their role as men. To name one example, their unwillingness to defend group territory and resources from invasion.

leaves out a lot of background.

Men have a very good reason to not get involved in a deal that could wipe out many years of their lives based on a court ruling.

Barry Goldwater, hell; should have listened to Leo XIII.
