From CNN:

It may soon be a crime in Grand Rapids to call the police on people of color for ‘participating in their lives’

By Madeline Holcombe, CNN

Thu April 25, 2019

(CNN)In Grand Rapids, Michigan, it may soon no longer be just unfair to call the police on people of color who have done nothing wrong. It may be downright illegal. …

The City Commission held a public hearing Tuesday on a proposed human rights ordinance that would make it a criminal misdemeanor to “racially profile people of color for participating in their lives,” the city said in a statement.

Last summer, a woman in Rialto, California called the police on three suspicious black people, who were really young women checking out of their Airbnb.

The Becky Bashing of the last year is of course related to the eternal issue of the inevitable tradeoff between false alarm Type I and false negative Type II errors, although nobody else seems to have pointed that out.

That wrong call might just get you a term in the prison system whitey. A black man takes a watermelon from the display without paying for it. Do you turn him in? Not if you know what’s good for you in Grand Rapids Michigan.

    UNCONSTITUTIONAL.

The right to call the police, when you suspect something or somebody is doing something wrong, is a constitutionally protected right, under the first amendment, the right to petition govt. for redress of grievances.

In fact, police departments all over the country encourage people to report suspicious activity, with slogans like “if you see something, say something.”

This pandering to black criminals is getting out of hand. If they pass such a law, not only will crime skyrocket, but people should sue, as it is unconstitutional.

From Ferguson through Baltimore, New York, Chicago, Seattle, and now in Boston and Dallas, we have seen law enforcement trashed from the top down, with resulting crime waves in the earlier cases, but one possible outcome of these newer crime-legalization moves is abandoning the police altogether, trashing them from the bottom up. Once a critical minority of tax-paying law-abiding white people embrace black treatment of a police department, not even fifty per cent, policing becomes impossible.

Actually this is probably a net positive for our side. The more ridiculous the racial rules become, the more likely we will be able to poach a good chunk of the 40% of Whites who vote democrat. You stole our Wakandan technology to build their chains and now you insult us with your constant microaggressions. Since the original subject here was Beckies, I’ll just point out once again that all your women crave our Black bodies. We would allow them to bear our beautiful,, brilliant offspring except that we must deny White women our vital fluids in order to preserve our Black masculine vigor.

  17. Meanwhile, California is banning the suspension or expulsion of “defiant” students. You know, the kids who act out in class, refuse to obey teachers, and make it impossible for anyone to learn.

  18. J.Ross says: • Website

Black criminals frequently exploit the foggy edge of legitimacy, exploiting try-on privileges before shoplifting, loitering to observe burglary targets before robbing them, approaching victims as though conversationally before assaulting them. In these cases your only defense against a potentially fatal attack is insisting upon “racist” rules, such as only permitting registered guests to sit in a hotel lobby, or imposing time limits on customers. Even where violence and crime isn’t the issue, stores benefit from imposing customer rules, such as restaurants that impose time limits, ask loud or rowdy kids to leave, or limiting access to condiments and drinks. All of these things are frequently complained about as racist by professional activists.

I was racially profiled once, and had a good laugh afterwards with the cops.

About 40 years ago I lived in Honolulu. My girlfriend’s parents were out of town. Her sister lived in the downstairs part of a mother-daughter house. My gf was staying at her parents’ house while they were vacationing in Europe.

Just about everyone in that neighborhood was Japanese. A neighbor saw what he thought was some haole guy pick the lock and break in (my girlfriend gave me her key since I got off work before she did. ).

My girlfriend’s sister was home. I talked to her for a few minutes then a knock at the door. She answered the door and found some large Native Hawaiian cops with their guns drawn. And her across the street neighbor with them.

The cops asked “do you have a Caucasian guy in there?”

She was scared. Didn’t know what I had done to get the cops on me. She said “yes, but he’s my sister’s friend, not mine!”

    She called me over.

Cop to neighbor: “Is this the guy you saw”

    Neighbor says yes.

Cops started laughing, and explained everything. We all had a good laugh.

My girlfriend and her sister decided to bake something for their neighbor for watching over the house.

Cmon, do we really want a society where neighbors can’t watch out for each other? What would Kitty Genoese say?

  23. @Dumbo

Yeah, the Beckys who don’t have to deal with the consequences eat this shit up. They’re the POC whisperers who think they’re the only ones who can relate to blacks.

The blacks who’ve caught on demand more and more knowing the Beckys can’t say no or their whole identity collapses.

  24. @Paleo Liberal

What would Kitty Genovese say? Funny you should ask!

Five years ago Mr. Sailer looked a bit deeper into this subject and his take on it is eye-opening. He makes the point that the “bystander effect” was overplayed by the media to distract attention away from the perp. Why would the media want to distract us from that? Read this:

It is “women who think they are white” calling down structural “institutional power” on “black bodies” (which are curiously incapable of thinking they are black) in order to enforce the Systemic Racism which is so “toxic” that the entire populations of South America, Africa, and West, South, and East Asia are all marching, crawling, sneaking, flying, floating, sailing, smuggling, begging and lying to get into, just to get a sweet, sweet taste of that sweet, sweet racism.

Someone put another solid-gold mortarboard on top of Ta-Genius’s stack of solid-gold mortarboards. Or give his honorary doctorate an honorary degree, SOMEthing!

  27. The Becky Bashing of the last year is of course related to the eternal issue of the inevitable tradeoff between false alarm Type I and false negative Type II errors, although nobody else seems to have pointed that out.

The reason the media cares about the issue is that white women fear black men, with good reason, but are in rabid denial of their fear. Indeed, white women think fearing black men is evil. They receive titillating pleasure from reading about other white women who were unable to control their fear and acted irrationally, as women do, and then had their evil revealed publicly by the national media.

Its lawful to call the police. A law will not stand that makes calling anyone illegal, or talking to the police illegal.

Its actually the job of the police to decide what they will pursue and how they will pursue it.

A fact that is obvious to anyone with a room temperature IQ.

The Grand Rapids City Commission must be staffed with a special group of people.

  29. Anonymous[708] • Disclaimer says:

Black people in America don’t want other blacks in prison, regardless of their crimes, and want to stimy the police in any way possible

It might be helpful to begin referring to the black community as libertarian, and their overall anti-law-enforcement agenda as a form of libertarianism. Then we can discuss mutual separation at the local level, based on how *libertarian or not the community is.

Why should blacks have to live under what they consider restrictive tyranny? And why should whites have to live in what they consider to be anarchic, crime-ridden dumps?

This country really is big enough for people to have their own spaces. Black Americans must recognize what they themselves are politically and then they can organize accordingly. They can have their own Free State Project.

Nobody is pointing out any solutions to this worsening relationship between fatigued whites and sacred negros, either.

    Nobody?

I’ve been pointing out since Michael Brown and Ferguson protests that the eseential logic of “black men shouldn’t have to put up with the outrage of white cops telling them to get out of street” is … separation.

This goes for issues of classroom behavior and “disproportionate” school discipline, “driving while black”, “playing loud music at 2 a.m. and a host of other lifestyle/behavioral issues.

If we don’t agree on norms and even more importantly if blacks feel put upon when any white–especially the police–tries to enforce white norms, then logically you don’t belong in the same society. Separate communities, perhaaps nations, is the answer.

Good comment and story. That’s the right attitude, and some people either can’t adopt it or are being told they can’t.

When I was young white man with long hair, I was stopped and frisked by a white cop in my white town. He saw me stop and look into a store window very late at night while I was walking home, so he interrogated me as to why I was looking in the store window, as if I was going to burglarize the place.

Then he had me turn around, and he did the frisk, including digging his hands deep around my pockets in front. I could feel him feeling my wallet and pocket watch. (Fortunately I didn’t feel him feeling any parts of me!) It was weird and a little scary, but then it was over.

Like you, I understood why it happened, and it was no big deal.

Contrast our stories to the time when a black professor had to break into his own house and the neighbor called the cops. Already in his house when they arrived, he “copped” an attitude and refused to go get his ID for them. They arrested him, and eventually everybody ended up drinking beer with B.H. Obama in the back yard of the White House.

Cops once came to my door at midnight with an arrest warrant for somebody who hadn’t lived there in years. I just went and got my driver’s license for them and it was over. “Sorry guys. I hope you find him.”

    1. It means giving up part of our country we already sacrificed for and won. Why should California or Texas become a separate place that doesn’t enjoy the protections of the Constitution? Why should I accept a diminution of my rights in any part of my country?

    2. Separation begats more separation. If the left wing crazies have California they will want Arizona, and after that New Mexico. If they have Texas they will want Louisiana and Mississippi. They hate borders, remember? There is no deal you can make with these people that they will stick to.

Not interested in seeing parodies of it, either.

  61. I looked at the article quoted in this post.

It mentioned the case of Sheila Stubbs of Madison, WI, a recently elected official who supposedly had the cops called on her for “campaigning while black”.

That story has been refuted, but it is still dragged out as an example.

I live in Madison. It is still very safe for a city of its size, but not as safe as it once was.

Sad to say, there is a growing population of ne’er do wells moving into the city. These folks are a variety of races. For example, at one point some “youths” were arrested for a bungled drive-by shooting. The attempted shooting was gang related, both sides claiming to be local chapters of Los Angeles African American gangs.

They showed the names and pictures of the “youths”. One was white, one was black, one was Hmong.

Anyway, in Ms. Stubbs’ district, there are some neighborhoods in a state of decline, I am very sad to say.

It turns out Ms. Stubbs was campaigning in one of those neighborhoods. She and her mother were campaigning together. They inadvertently parked right in front of a known drug house. One of the neighbors saw an unfamiliar car parked in front of the drug house, and saw no occupants in the car. He had no idea it was two black ladies. All he knew was there was a car from out of the neighborhood parked in front of the drug house.

So he called the cops. The cops asked her to show that she really was who she said she was.

And then she went to the press to complain about the horrible racist white residents and cops.

Police records showed there had been a couple of dozen calls to the cops about cars being parked in front of that particular drug house in the previous months. The person who made the call apologized to her, and explained the situation.

But, she and others get a lot of mileage over this incident. Her version has been discredited, but it is still part of the official narrative.

I do not live in her district.

The only way blacks can function adequately in western society is if they are kept under strict, dare I say intense, local authority (yes, that is a euphemism physical force.) Even if whites were once again allowed to segregate themselves, only half the problem would be solved. Without white supervision and subsidy, black areas would descend into varying degrees of Baltimore and Detroit. Further, blacks would never cease in attempting to gain access to the white areas for obvious reasons. So the idea of a segregated country seems like a good idea, until you realize that whites would still be responsible for propping blacks up out of certain degeneracy and squalor, on top of surrendering large areas of once civilized acreage to a group of people incapable of maintaining it, as we see plenty examples of here and around the western world. If we incorporate Sailer’s idea of merely incarcerating an even larger number of them, then Mr. Middle Class Taxpayer gets to take it up the wazoo even further, by having to pay for that as well.

The only practical solution (which I fully realize will never happen) is the repatriation of about 90% of the current black population to Africa. The remaining “talented 10%,” would be free to segregate themselves or integrate into what ideally would be a 90% white population. Yes yes, I keep hearing about how it is a moral atrocity to displace such a large group of humans. My answer to that is, whites are currently being displaced from their own fucking civilization that they built. Fairly minuscule moral outcry, and the solutions are all of the “spread the other cheek” variety. Not good enough.
