Going back perhaps to the 1990s, “Becky” is a racial slur epithet for a white woman. In 2018, the prestige press has turned “BBQ Becky” into a racial slur epithet for a white woman who call 911 over a seemingly threatening situation that then turns out to be a Type I false positive error. In the Washington Post Style section today, a white woman columnist complains that calling white women who make Type I errors involving blacks don’t deserve being slurred in a mildly amusing alliterative fashion. Slurring isn’t good enough for them!

The point we’re missing about ‘BBQ Becky’ and her sisters

By hashtagging the 911-calling ladies of 2018, we’re downplaying the true legacy of racism.

By Monica Hesse, Columnist, October 22 at 11:45 AM

… A few days before #GolfcartGail, there was #CondoCathy — also known as #ApartmentPatty — who called police on a black neighbor as he tried to enter his own building. Just before that was #CornerstoreCaroline, who called the cops on a 9-year-old who, she falsely claimed, had grabbed her butt in a market (security-camera video revealed his backpack had simply brushed against her). #PermitPatty’s target was an 8-year-old selling bottled water, #NewportNancy’s was a woman smoking a cigarette in a parking garage. The list goes all the way back to a California woman who, last spring, phoned police on two black men grilling in the dedicated grill zone of a public park. She became #BarbecueBecky — Becky being the withering shorthand for clueless white women everywhere.

The message: Don’t be a Barbecue Becky. …

And yet, something about the viewing experience — or at least the hashtag packaging of it — was starting to bother me. So I called a few people to talk through why.

“It’s a really gendered response,” offers Charles McKinney, a professor of history and Africana studies at Rhodes College. “When white men engage in this activity, very rarely do we give them cutesy nicknames,” he notes, with exception to the rare #CouponCarl. “There’s an insipid inclination to downplay these instances when the perpetrators are white women.”

Okay … uh, is Charles McKinney saying that white women are derided and punished too much or too little for worrying about their personal safety?

McKinney’s argument is that these incidents aren’t, generally, women simply being dopey or clueless. They’re examples of racism, and the way that people of color can be harassed while going about their daily lives.

Presenting these 911 callers with jaunty nicknames can be a way to deal with that via dark humor. And that was the origin of many of these hashtags — black Twitter users potently jabbing at a terrible reality.

But as the nicknames spread into broader Twitter population, by people who simply wanted something to mock, the side effect was dilution.

Okay, according to Ms. Hesse, the problem is that white women aren’t being mocked viciously enough.

A minimizing of the profound power that white women have had in America’s racial history — from the false accusation by Carolyn Bryant Donham that led to Emmett Till’s brutal killing

I was just thinking to myself, wow, nobody has mentioned Emmett Till in 10 or 15 minutes, and then … Bingo, there’s his name again!

, to the wrongful conviction of the Central Park Five,

We are going to be hearing about the sweet innocent Central Park Five over and over for the next year due to an upcoming miniseries on it.

which resulted in innocent boys spending years in prison.

Yeah, that Central Park Jogger, what a racist for accusing those five blameless boys! Oh, wait, she didn’t actually accuse anybody of anything because, when she surprisingly survived her horrific attack, she had lost all memory of the events. But she is still white, so let’s lump her in as another BBQ Becky: ha-ha-ha.

In the post-Civil War South, white women were “segregation’s constant gardeners,” as Elizabeth McRae writes in a new book about the politics of white supremacy. White women built the monuments to Confederate generals; white women harassed black children as they tried to integrate schools. Racist white men burned crosses and performed lynchings, but their rationale was often tied up in a twisted logic related to protecting the purity of white women.

All those deluded white women and their accusations that men are trying to paw them … SMH. Don’t Believe Women! (Unless they are accusing Republican Supreme Court nominees, then Believe Women.)

So why are we hashtagging the 911-calling ladies of 2018? “The impulse is to make them into a ridiculous story,” says Vann Newkirk, a staff writer at the Atlantic who writes about politics, and often race. “But that’s the wrong impulse. The right impulse is, these are deeply disturbing stories. There are ridiculous parts to them, but always one step away from something horrifying.”

The reason we can roll our eyes at #GolfcartGail is because the story ends with a wah-wahhhh. But plenty of other stories — Tamir Rice, John Crawford — have started out exactly the same way, with a bystander dialing 911, and they have ended in terror. Not with a wah-wahhhh but with a bang-bang. …

You're being credulous; no "one" can take the rap for a group attack. See the Ann Coulter articles to which links have already been posted.

I was out for a run in the Park that night and ran across the Harlem (102 St.) by-pass about an hour before the attack. It was dusk when I was running, it would be dark when the CPJogger was out. (Central Park goes north to 110 St, while the roadway inside the park curves around the north end by the Harlem Meer pool/rink and up a steep-ish Harlem Hill. The paved roadway at 102 St. cuts across the park east-to-west, avoids the north end.) If it was dusk or dark, you always took the by-pass--running the full loop north was only done in daylight.

There was some very strange activity going on that night. Several cyclists complained (warned me) of being harassed by marauding teens. At a distance I could see some running about, but witnessed nothing approaching a problem. It was April, so the weather was turning nicer, it was milder that it had been. Yet in 1989, with dusk and approaching darkness, the park normally emptied out--so there was more activity than usual--than expected.

Coulter's columns linked detail the evidence of this criminal attack. Local TV coverage at the time showed some perp walks of teens accompanied by adults/parents/guardians. Their interviews essentially confirmed their participation with others in a knowing act ("He did X, I only did Y.")

DA Morgenthau's exoneration deal was horrible miscarriage of justice.
  2. OT “Believe in science” loses to “believe her:” Lawrence Kraus, Obama’s science advisor and “professional atheist,” MeToo’ed.
    https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/peteraldhous/lawrence-krauss-sexual-harassment-allegations

BuzzFeed News has learned that the incident with Hensley is one of many wide-ranging allegations of Krauss’s inappropriate behavior over the last decade — including groping women, ogling and making sexist jokes to undergrads, and telling an employee at Arizona State University, where he is a tenured professor, that he was going to buy her birth control so she didn’t inconvenience him with maternity leave. In response to complaints, two institutions — Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, and the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics in Waterloo, Ontario — have quietly restricted him from their campuses.

“The incident with Hensley” sounds like a tryhard (but not a rapist) getting penalized by moving goalposts. Kraus
    >asked for a date by email and not in person (no balls. Always ask in person and accept rejection without any sign that it matters. Asking by email is normally interpreted to mean you are terrified of rejection).
    >attempted to verify age and consent directly (seems reasonable, often advised, but it’s exactly the wrong thing to do: in real life women expect you to “just know” and hate men who do not).
    >got her to his hotel room —
    >after a light alcoholic lunch (so, by the “old rules,” this is consent).
    >got her on the bed apparently without reading any nonverbal cues. Kraus is from a tribe noted for being utterly clueless with nonverbal cues: which does not make him a rapist, it makes him a nerd.

    • LOL: Mr. Rational
    • Replies: @Mr. Anon
Krauss wrote a biography of Richard Feynman. Unfortunately for him, he's no Feynman.

I'm not saying that it was consensual as Krauss alleges - I have no idea - but do young women nowadays not know that there is something fishy about meeting a man, alone, in his hotel room? Especially if he orders champagne. A hotel room is essentially a bedroom. Would you normally hang out with a guy in his bedroom in any non-romantic and/or sexual context?
    , @International Jew
Thx for that link (good iStevey material).

Kraus' The Physics of Star Trek is a terrific book I've returned to time and again. (Before this, I knew nothing about Kraus as famous atheist — which I couldn't care less about.)

From your link I also learned that the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists' famous clock is now as close to midnight as it's ever been (2 minutes, last attained in 1953). But that it's there because the editorial board has added global warmism to its concerns.
    , @Anon
Much of the #metoo crowd consists of liberal women who are enraged when liberal men insist they know the proper rules for treating women and who then ignore the rules. Smoking out hypocrites on your own side is characteristic of late-stage fanatical movements when they feel they are losing power.

It is also a trait of cults who also losing their grip on their followers. The cult leader picks a member who looks shaky in their faith and rallies the rest of the group to assail the weakling. This has the virtue of creating a stronger feeling of group solidarity, as well as implicating the rest of the cult members in a crime, which makes them less likely to leave for the outside.
    , @Anon
A pattern is beginning to emerge here. It seems like when white men go out with women, they tend to be more likely than Jewish men to think in terms of a potential dating relationship. Jewish men tend to think solely in terms of one night stands--at least with shiksas.

Classically speaking, if a white man cheats on his wife, he takes a long-term mistress, but he leaves other women around him alone. But a Jewish man seems to go wild making sexual advances to every woman in sight and makes himself noxious and socially unacceptable in polite circles.

In traditional white society, women do the entertaining, from sending out invitations to people and making all the practical arrangements. I'm beginning to see why Jews (read Jewish men) were excluded from white society for so long. You can't go around sexually harassing your hostess and her daughters if you want to be invited into polite society. Traditional obnoxious Jewish male sexual behavior--which is very Middle Eastern--they behave towards women the way Muslim males do--made Jews unacceptable company for well-bred white women.

It wasn't white men who excluded Jews from upper-crust white society, it was white women.

A Becky is a former liberal who believed the narrative that blacks weren’t dangerous, got attacked by a black male, and is now transitioning into a Republican.

I doubt that explains all or most of it. The number of white woman attacked (mugged, beaten, raped, murdered etc) by black men in any given year is pretty low to begin with, and in the cases of assaults/rapes/murders most of the perpetrators are probably acquaintances (hanging out with the wrong crowd, shacking up with the wrong guy). Most of these victimized women surely come from the lower classes; white girls from respectable families with university educations don't generally socialize with blacks.

Also, most of these videos don't show the cops being called due to any perceived threat, but due to some trivial violation of the rules (e.g., the girl selling water without a permit). This is just articulating a common sentiment (modern white American women are a pain in the ass) in politically correct terms, one of those rare instances where MGTOW and Red Pillers are on the same side as Salon and the Times.

“I think that we all realize what’s at stake and so people are really willing to stick their necks out and fight,” Handler said. “It’s not just about fighting for yourself it’s about fighting for other people who don’t have the platforms to fight for themselves.”

You are very right. I was thinking about this today. Many of us know about violent crime on a personal basis, but the difference is we (here) dare to look up the actual 'hate facts' while the 'other side' believes their personal experiences are anecdotes (which they certainly are) and anecdotes end up being swamped by mass media narratives to the contrary. That is, you (and a friend or two) were only assaulted a time or two, while if you watch TV you'll have seen thousands of white males doing what you actually experienced black males doing.

Television (the MSM as a whole) says to the masses: Who are ya gonna believe, us or your lying eyes? Most opt for the Narrative. After all, that's what they're bashed over the head with tens of thousands of times.

Personal experiences? Oh, those are just random meaningless anecdotes. We have 'therapists' to help you deal with your petty traumas, you racist.

What we need to ask the Manufacturers of Truth is this: which would you rather us reach for: our telephones or our firearms?

    • Agree: Bubba, Mr. Rational

The Till story is pretty clear when you get outside the left-right paradigm:

Till was a teenage city-slicker tough black from Chicago's South Side. In cities, then as today, black areas were no-go zones for whites, unless you were hooked up with organized crime; blacks were still more violent than whites.

Till was shipped off to his country bumpkin cousins for the summer because his parents were afraid he'd get into trouble, as he was a hothead little street tough. In the country, the whites had a system for keeping blacks from behaving like Chicago thugs: strict, violent enforcement of social codes by local country tough whites.

Till was trying to show off what a tough city slicker he was to his cousins, who repeatedly warned him that the rules were different there. So Till decided to "prove" how tough he was and harass a white woman, thinking in his stupid thug mind he could beat up any white man who tried to stop him.

Till probably acted a bit worse towards her--whistling, sexual comments, made grabs at her, but likely didn't touch her---- than he normally would have, given he was likely nervous and out to impress his country bumpkin cousins with how bad-ass he was. Nothing eggs on teenage bad behavior like other folks around whom a teenager wants to impress/not look bad in front of. Especially black teenagers, who have very limited future-time orientation.

So Till acted more than a bit out of line, but unlike in South Side Chicago, where he could have melted into the concrete jungle and gotten little more than a stern rebuke from a cop, the local tough guy whites came rolling in without fear of a ghetto riot. They Till and over-punished him, both pour encourager les autres and also because his surly attitude made Till a pretty dislikeable punk.

In short, the Till story was really the story about a black thug taking on the local white thugs for territory by violating the local code, and wildly overestimating his power versus them. Far from being a cosmopolitan city slicker, the city life sheltered Till from the realities of what constituted power.

And Emmett's daddy was tried, found guilty and executed for rape in Italy while serving with the U.S. Army. Like father like son.
  20. It’s like they’re trying to drive more white women to the alt-right/republican party.

It’s unsurprising that the racist NY Times—which, to repeat, is now fully supporting white subjugation and white genocide, having put Sara Jeong on its editorial board—would mock white women’s fears about blacks. They hate whitey as a policy now, both male and female. And the fact that so many white women supported Trump and Kavanaugh, despite their best propaganda, is making them give up on any “white” woman who doesn’t attend a synagogue or coven.

But to do so so openly…right before a contested midterm…it smacks of extremely short-sighted thinking.

Do any of the people working at the NY Times right now remember how the black-and-hispanic crime wave of the 1960s and 1970s gave us Nixon, and then, after a brief blip thanks to the Watergate molehill, Reagan, Giuliani, Bill Bratton, “broken windows”, “three strikes and your out”, mandatory minimums, and even neoliberals like Bill Clinton being harsh on black-and-hispanic crime?

Law-and-order and tough-on-crime stances have been a very reliable, very durable platform on which right-wing politicians and centrist politicians have run for 40+ years. Black (and to a lesser extent Hispanic) bad behavior, once it slips out, is a very reliable pusher of people to pull the lever for R, no matter how much you scream “racist” at them. The 1992 L.A. riots alone probably elected more Republicans nationwide than the Contract with America.

And today the Left doesn’t have such a strong hold on the message release as it did back then. THe internet has allowed non-lefties dynamic ways to reach people. What’s more, blacks themselves will proudly post videos of their crimes on World Star Hip Hop or write crazed articles about how whites deserve black wrath, all easily accessible and linked to by non-left commentators.

Bottom line: the white-hating NY Times is doing its darndest to suppress any chance of a blue wave, and they don’t even know it. Steve, keep highlighting this, but everyone else, don’t click on the links; deny the racist NY Times their clicks.

This is why the liberal news outlets are raging against the Beckys. There are a lot of them in big cities, and the libtards are terrified of losing their votes.

I really do think white liberal women are sexually assaulted by minority males far more than conservative women, because they keep believing the lies their side tells about how harmless and misunderstood minorities are, and they don't avoid them. This makes for a read load of cognitive dissonance when trouble comes.

Most of these victimized women surely come from the lower classes; white girls from respectable families with university educations don’t generally socialize with blacks.

Also, most of these videos don’t show the cops being called due to any perceived threat, but due to some trivial violation of the rules (e.g., the girl selling water without a permit). This is just articulating a common sentiment (modern white American women are a pain in the ass) in politically correct terms, one of those rare instances where MGTOW and Red Pillers are on the same side as Salon and the Times.

Liberal women are also more likely to live in cities with a lot of black dysfunction, something that liberal women cannot allow themselves to notice overtly so it plays itself out in other ways

You're being credulous; no "one" can take the rap for a group attack. See the Ann Coulter articles to which links have already been posted.

A minimizing of the profound power that white women have had in America’s racial history — from the false accusation by Carolyn Bryant Donham that led to Emmett Till’s brutal killing

There was no false accusation (the fake news media says that all Till was accused of doing was whistling, which dozens of witnesses confirmed he did, but Look did publish more-serious accusations that a woman with Alzheimer's on her deathbed could not possibly recant), and WHO CARES anyway? How many thousands of truly innocent whites have been killed by blacks since then?

The Till story is pretty clear when you get outside the left-right paradigm:

Till was a teenage city-slicker tough black from Chicago’s South Side. In cities, then as today, black areas were no-go zones for whites, unless you were hooked up with organized crime; blacks were still more violent than whites.

Till was shipped off to his country bumpkin cousins for the summer because his parents were afraid he’d get into trouble, as he was a hothead little street tough. In the country, the whites had a system for keeping blacks from behaving like Chicago thugs: strict, violent enforcement of social codes by local country tough whites.

Till was trying to show off what a tough city slicker he was to his cousins, who repeatedly warned him that the rules were different there. So Till decided to “prove” how tough he was and harass a white woman, thinking in his stupid thug mind he could beat up any white man who tried to stop him.

Till probably acted a bit worse towards her–whistling, sexual comments, made grabs at her, but likely didn’t touch her—- than he normally would have, given he was likely nervous and out to impress his country bumpkin cousins with how bad-ass he was.

Till was 14 years old, 5'4" and 150 pounds.

It doesn't seem likely he would have thought himself a thug capable of dealing with adult males. Not without a weapon.

Possibly he thought himself a thug at the local junior high school, but not in the real world outside an age-segregated group.

Which is not to say that he may not have misbehaved, certainly by the standards of the time/place and perhaps even by current standards.

At least his murder isn't being referred to here as a lynching, which it was not by any reasonable standard. It was just a murder.
    , @Jack D
Till was not that bright and said things that were wildly inappropriate in the context of the place he was in (in order to impress his country cousins, as you say). He stated that he was sexually experienced with white women so the lone white female storekeeper had nothing to fear. If you tried really, really hard to think of the absolute WORST thing that you could say in that time and place, that would be it - I don't think you could come up with a better line if you tried. But that didn't exactly make him a thug, just a really stupid teenager.

I think that if you transposed this story to say Africa or the Middle East and made Till white then any white liberal would understand what happened and would have no problem blaming the white guy for his own demise. But the way leftist narratives work is that only white people have agency.

Your votes are public. I was rewarded for voting for Obama the first time by being invited to a Democrat party functionary function-party. The other guests were all seemingly random, and all asking how we had been chosen. The speaker pointed out that voting records are public for the parties, and that the DNC had noted (and been confused by) a big influx of independents. They had us there to try to understand us and to solidify our support. When she mentioned public voting records the room went silent.

To steal from (blech) Instapundit, all the Left had to do to pick up seats against Trump was not be crazy, and they can't even manage that.

I really do think this is all related to Trump's charisma. He enjoys needling the corporate media and the Left, and they take it all so personally that politicians and reporters and editors are literally having mental checkouts and going beyond the pale, all seeing Nazis and fascists and such in every window and Trump voter. Trump seems to have this fantastic ability to take what everyone else can see is schoolyard teasing and his well-known hyperbole and make the Left/corporate media feel like they're getting a swirlie before the SS guard comes to gas them. They feel a mad combination of humiliation and terror that makes them go apeshit with anger.

It's fun and sad that they are so deranged, but it's also serious; as the Proud Boys v. Antifa terrorists this weekend showed, the Left is literally creating violent mobs in response to their delusions.

I trust that Trump knows his power, and is doing this deliberately so that the Antifa thugs can make a massive misstep (threats of bombs, bank robberies for funds like lefties used to, etc.). and then the feds can swoop in, arrest them all, and take out their donors as well in a RICO sting. At least I hope so; Trump, for all his accomplishments in life, never quite had a situation where he was trying to enrage a delusional mob to the point that they get out of hand enough for him to get them arrested and discredited.

Then again, Trump was smart enough to know (or at least suspect) that his cultural power was so great that he could get Obama to release his birth certificate against his will, even after Hillary had failed and all the crackpots conspiracy theorists had failed. This guy has the cultural instincts of a Caesar.

I know that someone has taken the rap for the Central Park 5, but part of me thinks that they are still guilty of something with this.
One kid had grass stains on his underwear. They all admitted to the assault (at least one while his parents were there). All 5 were at central park during the time in question.
And how hard would it be to get a lifer to cop to a crime he didn't commit, just to stick it to the man, and help a brother out? I don't know, but I wonder.

The paved roadway at 102 St. cuts across the park east-to-west, avoids the north end.) If it was dusk or dark, you always took the by-pass–running the full loop north was only done in daylight.

There was some very strange activity going on that night. Several cyclists complained (warned me) of being harassed by marauding teens. At a distance I could see some running about, but witnessed nothing approaching a problem. It was April, so the weather was turning nicer, it was milder that it had been. Yet in 1989, with dusk and approaching darkness, the park normally emptied out–so there was more activity than usual–than expected.

Coulter’s columns linked detail the evidence of this criminal attack. Local TV coverage at the time showed some perp walks of teens accompanied by adults/parents/guardians. Their interviews essentially confirmed their participation with others in a knowing act (“He did X, I only did Y.”)

DA Morgenthau’s exoneration deal was horrible miscarriage of justice.

Even White men did not vote in overwhelming majorities for Donald Trump. The percentage of White males who voted for either Hillary Clinton or 3rd Party (Jill Stein, Gary Johnson) made up a combined 40% of the White male vote.

Even White males do not vote in a monolithic bloc for Donald Trump/The GOP like the way Nonwhites vote in a monolithic bloc for The Democratic Party.

OT Mormo-Jewess Chelsea Handler is pitching race division agitprop to NetFlix, which just killed several critically acclaimed shows.
    https://www.thewrap.com/chelsea-handler-new-netflix-series-white-privilege/

Handler announced she was leaving her show “Chelsea” last October to focus on political activism, which included speaking at universities and teaming up with EMILY’s List to support getting more Democratic women who are pro-abortion rights into office.

    ...

“I think that we all realize what’s at stake and so people are really willing to stick their necks out and fight,” Handler said. “It’s not just about fighting for yourself it’s about fighting for other people who don’t have the platforms to fight for themselves.”

Speaking of insufficient platforms, are any NetFlix series not about race?

That part blew my mind too. It’s like looting. The instinct is perfectly opposite what it should be. “Somebody’s in trouble! Time to go shopping!” But of course, if you read on, you see what a prince the guy is. Death penalty opponents either see accounts like this or simply cannot believe them.

If you See Something, Beckys, Say Nothing.

    Flashback:

Fellow White Sophie Ellman-Golan tells Beckys to just let it happen.

After a brief welcome, facilitator Sophie Ellman-Golan, who heads up social media for the Women’s March team, got right down to business: “I’m going to start things out with Emmett Till.”

“When white women say we’re frightened of scary black men, really bad things happen,” said Ellman-Golan. She encouraged the women in the room to reconsider their perceptions of safety, especially when what makes them feel safe may compromise the safety of others around them. Acknowledging that what she was about to say was provocative, she offered a suggestion: “Don’t call the police. Don’t do it. How dare we choose as the enforcer of safety an institution that has demonstrated how deeply unsafe it is?”

“I’m going to start things out with Emmett Till.”

    He’s dead, Jim.

“Don’t call the police. Don’t do it. How dare we choose as the enforcer of safety an institution that has demonstrated how deeply unsafe it is?”

    Yes, but….

    Oh, ok:

    “I don’t dial 911, I just dial 357”.

357 may be big for Becky, but there is other good stuff on the market.

  56. Seems about time for a friendly reminder that in modern America, no one is more enthusiastic about ruining the health, economic prospects and lives of black people than other black people.

But by all means, let’s focus on a few dozen possible incidents that resulted in some hurt feelings and everyone going home safe at the end of the day.

  57. White liberal women are NPCs. They will not stop and question why, given the massive of rapes of white women by blacks, they should not call 911 on blacks. There are few examples yearly of whites raping blacks. If the numbers were reversed, Hesse and all our (((fellow whites))) in the media would be calling on blacks to be safe than sorry and call 911 on white women.

I was out for a run in the Park that night and ran across the Harlem (102 St.) by-pass about an hour before the attack.

Scary small world. My friend and I were out on the 102nd St transverse a few hours later. Needless to say there were cops everywhere, but we had no idea what had happened.

I really do think white liberal women are sexually assaulted by minority males far more than conservative women, because they keep believing the lies their side tells about how harmless and misunderstood minorities are, and they don’t avoid them.

also they smile a lot and are extra friendly to show how non-racist they are - something they don't do to white dudes they're not interested in cos it might be taken as a come-on.

the media have so much blood on their hands.

You are very right. I was thinking about this today. Many of us know about violent crime on a personal basis, but the difference is we (here) dare to look up the actual ‘hate facts’ while the ‘other side’ believes their personal experiences are anecdotes (which they certainly are) and anecdotes end up being swamped by mass media narratives to the contrary. That is, you (and a friend or two) were only assaulted a time or two, while if you watch TV you’ll have seen thousands of white males doing what you actually experienced black males doing.

Television (the MSM as a whole) says to the masses: Who are ya gonna believe, us or your lying eyes? Most opt for the Narrative. After all, that’s what they’re bashed over the head with tens of thousands of times.

Personal experiences? Oh, those are just random meaningless anecdotes. We have ‘therapists’ to help you deal with your petty traumas, you racist.

What we need to ask the Manufacturers of Truth is this: which would you rather us reach for: our telephones or our firearms?

OT "Believe in science" loses to "believe her:" Lawrence Kraus, Obama's science advisor and "professional atheist," MeToo'ed.
    https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/peteraldhous/lawrence-krauss-sexual-harassment-allegations

"The incident with Hensley" sounds like a tryhard (but not a rapist) getting penalized by moving goalposts. Kraus
    >asked for a date by email and not in person (no balls. Always ask in person and accept rejection without any sign that it matters. Asking by email is normally interpreted to mean you are terrified of rejection).
    >attempted to verify age and consent directly (seems reasonable, often advised, but it's exactly the wrong thing to do: in real life women expect you to "just know" and hate men who do not).
    >got her to his hotel room --
    >after a light alcoholic lunch (so, by the "old rules," this is consent).
    >got her on the bed apparently without reading any nonverbal cues. Kraus is from a tribe noted for being utterly clueless with nonverbal cues: which does not make him a rapist, it makes him a nerd.

Krauss wrote a biography of Richard Feynman. Unfortunately for him, he’s no Feynman.

I’m not saying that it was consensual as Krauss alleges – I have no idea – but do young women nowadays not know that there is something fishy about meeting a man, alone, in his hotel room? Especially if he orders champagne. A hotel room is essentially a bedroom. Would you normally hang out with a guy in his bedroom in any non-romantic and/or sexual context?

For the left context is meaningless. Remember the new buzzword is "affirmative consent" i.e. you have to ask a woman in plain language if she wants to do each individual act ("Can I kiss you?", "Can I feel your breasts?"). Sort of like how you're supposed to think a 22 year old black male wearing a hoodie is no more or less a threat to you than a elderly grandmother pushing her groceries home from the store. Steve calls it "not noticing," but I think autism is a better word.
  64. Believe women? I remember seeing a movie about a black man falsely accused of rape by a white woman. The movie won some prestigious award or something. But it was filmed in black and white, so who watches those anymore?

Please drive those white women into the arms of the Republicans...

To steal from (blech) Instapundit, all the Left had to do to pick up seats against Trump was not be crazy, and they can’t even manage that.

I really do think this is all related to Trump’s charisma. He enjoys needling the corporate media and the Left, and they take it all so personally that politicians and reporters and editors are literally having mental checkouts and going beyond the pale, all seeing Nazis and fascists and such in every window and Trump voter. Trump seems to have this fantastic ability to take what everyone else can see is schoolyard teasing and his well-known hyperbole and make the Left/corporate media feel like they’re getting a swirlie before the SS guard comes to gas them. They feel a mad combination of humiliation and terror that makes them go apeshit with anger.

It’s fun and sad that they are so deranged, but it’s also serious; as the Proud Boys v.

Becky’s are almost like a disease, not at all dissimilar to a Star Trek episode from the 1960s where flying lasagna-looking things attached themselves to a host. Truly horrifying.

Till was 14 years old, 5’4″ and 150 pounds.

It doesn’t seem likely he would have thought himself a thug capable of dealing with adult males. Not without a weapon.

Possibly he thought himself a thug at the local junior high school, but not in the real world outside an age-segregated group.

Which is not to say that he may not have misbehaved, certainly by the standards of the time/place and perhaps even by current standards.

Clearly you don't know many hotheaded teenage boys. Especially black teenage boys. Especially black teenage boys who are the same weight and nearly the height of a full-grown male.

Wanna-be-tough guy black teenage boys very often start to believe they are superhumanly tough and can beat up anyone. Part of it is believing their own hype, where they talk such a big game they start to believe their own press. And they're not going to think about needing a weapon---

Look at Michael Brown. He got so crazy on his own anger he thought he could steal a cop's gun and push him around. He was only 18.

Possibly he thought himself a thug at the local junior high school, but not in the real world outside an age-segregated group.

Lol. Again, you wildly underestimate the delusions of many teenage boys and young men. Take a look at World Star Hip Hop or some of the darker sides of YouTube and Twitter and you'll see black teens and young adults making outrageous claims about their toughness and buying it themselves.

I personally agree that most of these BBQ Beckys are busybody bitches. My guess is that they're the kind of whiny knee-jerk rule enforcers who'd squeal on anyone, not just blacks. Blacks just happen to be more likely to freak out about it. My advice to them: unless you or your kids are directly threatened, bugger off.

Correct. When they call the cops on white people nobody ever hears about it.

Unless I’m confused, always a possibility, that you voted and your party registration are matters of public record.

In response to complaints, two institutions — Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, and the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics in Waterloo, Ontario — have quietly restricted him from their campuses.

They would have reacted the same had the kids been white. Probably this unnecessary calling of cops happens regularly with white kids but the media ignores it.

Till was not that bright and said things that were wildly inappropriate in the context of the place he was in (in order to impress his country cousins, as you say). He stated that he was sexually experienced with white women so the lone white female storekeeper had nothing to fear. If you tried really, really hard to think of the absolute WORST thing that you could say in that time and place, that would be it – I don’t think you could come up with a better line if you tried. But that didn’t exactly make him a thug, just a really stupid teenager.

I think that if you transposed this story to say Africa or the Middle East and made Till white then any white liberal would understand what happened and would have no problem blaming the white guy for his own demise. But the way leftist narratives work is that only white people have agency.

If White males voted in a monolithic bloc for The Right than Antifa would not be predominantly made up of White males, Antifa would be mostly made up of People Of Color and women.

For the left context is meaningless. Remember the new buzzword is “affirmative consent” i.e. you have to ask a woman in plain language if she wants to do each individual act (“Can I kiss you?”, “Can I feel your breasts?”). Sort of like how you’re supposed to think a 22 year old black male wearing a hoodie is no more or less a threat to you than a elderly grandmother pushing her groceries home from the store. A pattern is beginning to emerge here. It seems like when white men go out with women, they tend to be more likely than Jewish men to think in terms of a potential dating relationship. Jewish men tend to think solely in terms of one night stands–at least with shiksas.

I’m beginning to see why Jews (read Jewish men) were excluded from white society for so long. You can’t go around sexually harassing your hostess and her daughters if you want to be invited into polite society. Traditional obnoxious Jewish male sexual behavior–which is very Middle Eastern–they behave towards women the way Muslim males do–made Jews unacceptable company for well-bred white women.

It wasn’t white men who excluded Jews from upper-crust white society, it was white women.

Right, that's what all those non-Jewish frat boys and jocks are doing at frat parties - looking for long term relationships. Bill O'Reilly, Charlie Rose, Kevin Spacey, chef John Besh, Hamilton Fish, David Sweeney of NPR, etc. - they were all just looking to "go steady" with their interns, etc.

Jews have this concept of a sin being tolerable if deniable (the Talmudic "out of town" clause), thus Gavin McInnes's description of haredim banging shvartzes in public, or the outraged African African girl photographed with a haredi who propositioned her. However, American popular culture is thoroughly Judaized, so "white boys acting white" such as you require would stand out as fundies or prudes.

Nah he doesn’t have some master plan like that. He just knows that the more they chimp out, the more that average people will come to his side, since he’s managed to keep white nationalists under control (death of the alt right was a good thing).

4d chess is a meme, Trump just goes balls to the wall full speed ahead all the time, and his opponents are so stupid and make unforced errors (his opponents are sluggish and stupid, the effects of a woman run structure).

The best defence is a good offense.

At least his murder isn't being referred to here as a lynching, which it was not by any reasonable standard. It was just a murder.

Till was 14 years old, 5’4″ and 150 pounds.

It doesn’t seem likely he would have thought himself a thug capable of dealing with adult males. Not without a weapon.

Clearly you don’t know many hotheaded teenage boys.

And they’re not going to think about needing a weapon—

Look at Michael Brown. He got so crazy on his own anger he thought he could steal a cop’s gun and push him around. He was only 18.

Possibly he thought himself a thug at the local junior high school, but not in the real world outside an age-segregated group.

Lol. Again, you wildly underestimate the delusions of many teenage boys and young men. Take a look at World Star Hip Hop or some of the darker sides of YouTube and Twitter and you’ll see black teens and young adults making outrageous claims about their toughness and buying it themselves.

Right. Of course, Michael Brown was 6'4", not 5'4". He weighed twice what Till weighed.

Michael was a really big guy by any standards other than those of the NFL front line.

I have never seen, BTW, any discussion of Till thinking himself a tough guy. My understanding is that he was proud of being a smartass who wouldn't back down to anybody. Which he didn't. So they killed him. While there may be overlap, that's not exactly the same thing as being a thug or thug wannabee.

He stated that he was sexually experienced with white women so the lone white female storekeeper had nothing to fear. If you tried really, really hard to think of the absolute WORST thing that you could say in that time and place, that would be it

It’s funny how black guy’s thoughts always go to boasting about white women. Reminds me about carnys used to boast about how they were big-time stars back home.

How many girls are named Becky in this day and age? Most Beckies are older boomers, over 60.

Since Becky is short for Rebecca, I’m betting most of the stereotypes about “Beckys” are coming from ((certain)) girls with jungle fever in cities, as many Rebeccas are ((certain types of girls)).

One tell is how in one anti-Becky song the black rapper talked about how quickly Beckys gave oral sex. Black women have a stereotype about never giving oral sex (black men too, but that’s another story), but (((certain))) girls have a very generous reputation when it comes to oral sex—-until marriage, of course (again, a story for another time).

Or else she is lying now. Either way she is a liar and she got several different men in trouble because of her lies. Oh what a tangled web we weave.

The testimony of the other black boys who accompanied Till to the store is also completely unreliable and changed over time. Remember "Hands Up, Don't Shoot" ? People lie all the time.

The one thing that we do know (all accounts agree on this) is that Bryant ran from the store and retrieved a pistol from her car, so whatever Till said or did was highly upsetting to her. And the local boys, knowing the code of the South, immediately understood it as such and ran away.

  111. Becky goes down in Utah

21 year old University of Utah senior and scholarship track & field athlete murdered by 37 year old sex offender she tried to date for 1 month, later realizing he lied about everything. She tried to break up with him, with predictable consequences.

  112. Last night at the University of Utah, a 22 year old female student was murdered by her ex-boyfriend, a 37 year old ex-con. She broke up with him because of his age and criminal record (at least, this is what is being reported).

It wasn't white men who excluded Jews from upper-crust white society, it was white women.

when white men go out with women, they tend to be more likely than Jewish men to think in terms of a potential dating relationship

Right, that’s what all those non-Jewish frat boys and jocks are doing at frat parties – looking for long term relationships. Bill O’Reilly, Charlie Rose, Kevin Spacey, chef John Besh, Hamilton Fish, David Sweeney of NPR, etc. – they were all just looking to “go steady” with their interns, etc.

Somewhat related: Wonder Woman 1984 is getting put on the Pluto Nash shelf. It will come out, just ... not before it's ready.

Mueller is purposely laying low. He is allowing the election to play out. In that way, there are no accusations of him playing politics so close to November 6 if he would come out with indictments of key Trump Administration figures, past or present. Mueller is getting his ducks in a row, and he will be making major moves regardless if there is a "blue wave" after the election, which I am not counting on, given how the polling "experts" butchered the last one.

Jews have this concept of a sin being tolerable if deniable (the Talmudic “out of town” clause), thus Gavin McInnes’s description of haredim banging shvartzes in public, or the outraged African African girl photographed with a haredi who propositioned her. However, American popular culture is thoroughly Judaized, so “white boys acting white” such as you require would stand out as fundies or prudes.

In my state, you have to declare a party affiliation to get a primary ballot. It's not difficult to guess that if you took a GOP ballot you voted for GOP candidates.

After voting in the primary, you have to fill out a form to get your "Unenrolled" status back.

That’s not the case in Massachusetts, or at least hasn’t been for as long as I’ve been voting.

I checked Bill Galvin's website and you're correct. Why I had to fill out a form to retain my unenrolled status after voting last month is a question I'll be asking at City Hall.

    Finally, someone said it.

As someone who’s been the recipient of trivial complaints from women on several occassions(including an incident in April of this year), I’m just giddy with delight that someone is finally calling out these [women] on their nonsense.

Oh no, is it Corvy's time of the month again? What happened to Mueller's Top-Secret (but Clearly Devastating) Dynamite?

“What happened to Mueller’s Top-Secret (but Clearly Devastating) Dynamite?”

Mueller is purposely laying low. He is allowing the election to play out. In that way, there are no accusations of him playing politics so close to November 6 if he would come out with indictments of key Trump Administration figures, past or present. Mueller is getting his ducks in a row, and he will be making major moves regardless if there is a “blue wave” after the election, which I am not counting on, given how the polling “experts” butchered the last one.

Till was 14 years old, 5’4″ and 150 pounds.

It doesn’t seem likely he would have thought himself a thug capable of dealing with adult males. Not without a weapon.

Right. Of course, Michael Brown was 6’4″, not 5’4″. He weighed twice what Till weighed.

Michael was a really big guy by any standards other than those of the NFL front line.

I have never seen, BTW, any discussion of Till thinking himself a tough guy. My understanding is that he was proud of being a smartass who wouldn’t back down to anybody. Which he didn’t. So they killed him. While there may be overlap, that’s not exactly the same thing as being a thug or thug wannabee.

it's interesting about these white-liberals from 99% white area types like Ken Burns, its not just guilt, it's a self righteous religious fervor - they show their true faith by being actively ignorant.

Ken Burns will condemn a white man for saying a naughty word or having a naughty thought like average IQ might be different for different races. But he'll defend low life thugs if they are black..

I don't know anyone white or black or pr (needless to say orientals though there weren't many when i was growing up) that grew up in Queens when I did that holds PC views (in fact most of the time they are non pc) like NPR liberals from overwhelmingly white areas like maine, vermont and Washington state and Oregon.

Agree. I couldn’t simply use the “agree” button, because I haven’t left enough comments over the past 30 days.
