Transracialism: A Black Cub Is Now a Pink Panther
Search Text Case Sensitive  Exact Words  Include Comments

Here in North America, everybody knows that transgenderism, such as the fact that Caitlyn Jenner won the Olympics and set many records for her gender, is 100% legit hard science, while transracialism, such as Rachel Dolezal using Jheri Curl, is lunatic sci-fi nonsense.

In Latin America, though, not so much …

For example, consider retired Chicago Cubs slugger Sammy Sosa. The Dominican started out black and is now pink. He now looks like a Havana boulevardier who had to relocate his act to Miami Beach in 1959, especially if said boulevardier wasn’t an heir to a distant sugar plantation like he said, but was instead a legendary international jewel thief.

Although on second thought, Sammy now looks even more like Snagglepuss than he looks like the Pink Panther.

Anyway, I wrote about Sammy’s transracialism back in 2010 in VDARE.

And I wrote about Brazilian soccer superstar’s Neymar Jr.’s wanderings across the color line in 2014.

Wonderful news if true. The Obama administration used to get what it wanted by having someone challenge a law they didn't like, then declining to defend it. Here in Mexifornia that has been standard practice for decades.
Illegal immigration is a particular sore spot for me. My parents applied for a visa and waited ten freaking years before our turn came up and we could move to the US. And that was even before the Hart-Cellar act basically shut down immigration from Europe. We'd probably never get in today.
  7. Black social theoreticians would prefer that you stop focusing on individual users of fade creams. Skin lightening is a billion dollar business wordwide: here’s an excerpt from an Ebony editorial:

In speaking with skin bleachers in Ghana, a number of them reported that part of what makes light skin so appealing is its presumed connectedness to Whiteness. The idea that in a society where the large majority of people are relatively dark-skinned, to have light skin means that you may have White (or other) ancestry. And if in this context, Whiteness has been historically projected as inherently better than Blackness, to have White blood automatically renders one better than average. The value bestowed light skin in its presumed connection to Whiteness reflects the extent to which the entire society continues to privilege Whiteness. So if there is such a thing as “self-hate,” our entire society undoubtedly engenders it. We have to stop treating skin bleachers as if they exist in a vacuum. They do not.

Now of course, with our skin color being the immutable mark of our Blackness, skin bleaching stands as the most egregious attack on our identity, the most literal champion of White Supremacy. Yet, we are fighting the individuals—people who bleach—and not the institutions—the people who make the products. Most of these skin bleaching products are manufactured in Europe where the active ingredients have been banned–banned from use, not manufacture. It seems then that the Diaspora has become a literal dumping ground for chemicals deemed unfit for White bodies.

While we’re passing judgment, and ridiculing people of color (namely Black people) as “brainwashed” for thinking that lighter skin is more appealing, we conveniently ignore the fact that the streets of many West African cities are decorated with 60ft billboards for skin bleaching products, that magazines marketed to women of color all over the world, especially in Asia, feature pages and pages of advertisements for skin lighteners (or to use the more socially acceptable language, “fade creams”), or that many Black male celebrities (many of whom are themselves dark-skinned) often make very public statements (and write very noxious lyrics) about their “preference” for lighter-skinned women and/or their disdain for darker-skinned ones.

This is some weird theorizing over what seems to be a near universal desire worldwide, even previous to contact with us; that people tend to think lighter skin is more attractive and want a mate with it. They don't seem to get the reason why Europeans wouldn't need to use these things, which is of course any of us who are of purely European ancestry are already pale enough as-is.
  8. In the Bronx, American Black dope dealers resent the stupidity of Hispanics and how it affects their chosen trade. They say that when Puerto Ricans pay off judges they get an increased sentence but Black dopers hasten to add that when Dominicans pay off judges they get deported back to the DR. Sammy now looks Puerto Rican, so he can’t be deported.

Whatever he has done to his epidermis has probably increased his inner IQ by about 5 points. Sammy has always been a cheater.

Michael Jackson just seemed to be a weirdo trying to make himself look like a spectacle as part of his stage act. He also had weird sexual proclivities and that might be part of it, because you know that his wife he married to dispel rumors of him being gay obviously got pregnant by someone else because his "daughter" is blonde haired, blue eyed and looks like a stereotypical western European, even if she claims she's black to hold onto some notoriety and fame and whatever money it may bring her to claim to be the man's actual child.

  12. I think all the Sosa skin-whitening says he’s spending most of his time among South American/Caribbean culture and not too much time in North America. No doubt that once his fame faded he couldn’t nail the lighter-skinned girls in the D.R. anymore because he was too dark, and he might have even gotten taunted due to his darker skin.

Latin and Caribbean America is very skin-color conscious, and white is definitely preferred to black. I know Trinidadian family of light-skinned blacks who get extremely upset if you call them black. Very nice folk, too, kind of like the blacks we were all promised as to the ones that were delivered.

Part 4 sees the return of Denis, a transgender woman and law enforcement agent played by David Duchovny. In a fitting move, she’s gotten a promotion.

Lynch:I never directed David in the original Twin Peaks, so it was a thrill for me.Cole used to be Denise’s boss, but things have changed.

    RE: Snagglepuss,

DC Comics is relaunching the cartoon cat Snagglepuss as a “gay Southern Gothic playwright,” following the Hanna-Barbera reboots that gave us post-apocalyptic Wacky Races and The Flintstones as a dark political satire.

In an interview with Hilobrow, Russell described the new Snagglepuss as a “gay Southern Gothic playwright” and “tragic Tennessee Williams figure,” explaining that the character was subtextually gay in the original cartoons.

“It’s never discussed and it’s obviously ignored in the cartoons ’cuz they were made at a time when you couldn’t even acknowledge the existence of such a thing, but it’s still so obvious; so it’s natural to present it in a context where everybody knows, but it’s still closeted.”
The comic takes place in the New York theater scene of the 1950s, with Snagglepuss going up against the House Committee on Un-American Activities.

If you search on YouTube for "skin lightening + _country name_", there are hundreds of results every time. Just look at this series of commercials for Ponds in India; they'd be crucified for this in the U.S.:

    https://youtube.com/watch?v=xgx6xrc0gBs

Is this because Northern Europeans were the ones who figured science out and applied it before anyone else, ruling much of the world? is it because english-speaking countries actually work as polities, or at least they did before tending toward national suicide, like the Brits, the Germans and the French?

Do these women want to be white because their dark men covet white women?

In India, light skinned male actors are also admired by Indian women. In northern India, many people are blue eyed and as fair skinned as Europeans. Tamils from southernmost India are very dark. Many Indians believe that lighter skin shows Aryan racial characteristics, which are seen as desirable and attractive. Of course, the Brits ruled India for several hundred years, through corporations then openly; women admire power and authority.

Anyway, one thing I can tell you is that if you look up "skin darkening" nobody wants to do it.

I seem to recall that he had things to say in the '80s and '90s about who was pushing him in that direction. Also paying him lucratively for it...and making out much more lucratively for themselves.

Seemed to me he came to use his extreme behavior the same way, oh, let's say weev did (in terms of hacking the MSM for attention for his own reasons).

    http://blogs.rj.org/blog/2009/06/29/michael_jackson_and_the_jews/

    And many hundreds more.

The MSM hounded Jackson on this topic back to the early '90s IIRC and forward into the late Aughts. If you Google it, you'll see that of the top 100 hits on the topic, the vast majority are in Jewish/Israeli media. They appear obsessed with smearing the guy and bringing him under the heel.

Jackson and Prince were two guys who tried to rebel within institutions whose power and animus they underestimated. But I can't help concluding that they resisted the best they could. Remember Prince's assessment of the recording industry as a slaveholding plantation.

  31. Ultimately terminology becomes meaningless. I used to know a woman who was blond-haired and blue-eyed, with fine features and thin lips who was African American. Of course she was an immigrant from South Africa of Dutch genetic stock.

There is a very fine line between the terms African-American and “black”, especially since African-American is often used as a term to describe anyone who looks like they have some negro blood, even if they are not American. For example singer Rihanna, as far as I know, is a citizen of Barbados and not technically African-American, but if she gets a green card, and then is naturalized as a citizen, she will be fully entitled to call herself African American.

Then there is also the issue of slave ancestry. Most African Americans are the descendants of slaves, although Barack Obama notably was not, though his children are descendants of slaves through their mother’s line.

When one speaks of African Americans being disadvantaged, the underlying idea is that one is speaking of descendants of slaves, even though many people who are not descendants of slaves, or not descendants of slaves in the territory of what is now the US, are still able to take advantage of affirmative action programs, grants, and so on, which seems unintuitive.

I find it quite amazing that the Rachel Dolezeal/Shaun King trans-racialism and Bruce Jenner trans-genderism hasn't produced one meme about Michael Jackson. Really, how could we forget the extremely famous black boy who grew up to be a beautiful white woman, right before America's eyes?

Is it just that I'm dating myself with remembering the Michael Jackson skin whitening/rhinoplasty/effeminacy that got progressively worse every few years? C'mon, the guy was the King of Pop, and his death wasn't that long ago; I'm shocked he hasn't been a humorous touchstone in all this nonsense.

I think all the possible racial jokes got subsumed by all the jokes about touching little kids.

If you search on YouTube for “skin lightening + _country name_”, there are hundreds of results every time. Just look at this series of commercials for Ponds in India; they’d be crucified for this in the U.S.:

Anyway, one thing I can tell you is that if you look up “skin darkening” nobody wants to do it.

Glad you mentioned Hart-Cellar . Passed in ’65. Not long thereafter the immigration trajectory went south after that. And we’ve been paying the price ever since. Yet another example of how the “road to hell is paved with good intentions, even though it was nominally Phil Hart and Emmanuel Cellar who sponsored the bill, in reality it was the Brothers Kennedy who had their fingerprints all over it. One wag called the law “Hitler’s revenge.” Amen!

Ultimately terminology becomes meaningless. I used to know a woman who was blond-haired and blue-eyed, with fine features and thin lips who was African American. Of course she was an immigrant from South Africa of Dutch genetic stock.

There is a very fine line between the terms African-American and "black", especially since African-American is often used as a term to describe anyone who looks like they have some negro blood, even if they are not American. For example singer Rihanna, as far as I know, is a citizen of Barbados and not technically African-American, but if she gets a green card, and then is naturalized as a citizen, she will be fully entitled to call herself African American.

Then there is also the issue of slave ancestry. Most African Americans are the descendants of slaves, although Barack Obama notably was not, though his children are descendants of slaves through their mother's line.

  49. An even more famous Black-to-White celebrity is “The Rock” – movie star Dwayne Johnson. His parents were an African negro father and a Hawaiian mother. Yet he has transformed himself into a Caucasian through what appears to be skin lightening and plastic surgery.

In one of his recent films – “San Andreas” – he plays a white helicopter pilot who has a white wife and a white daughter. They never bother to explain in the plot how this non-white father could have led to a white daughter – ‘Movie Magic’ I guess.
