Commenter justwonderingaboutbaseball translates TrigglyProf’s diatribe into more timeless language:
My side is the Who and those are the Whom. Why do you not recognize this? You’re not here to protect our interests from the lower castes? No, you’re not! *Cursing used to show aggression and dominance*. And our apprentices had to *cursing used for aggressive emphasis* face them on their own. You bring shame to our tribe! You should be standing up to the lower castes! You should be protecting us from this sedition! This is sedition! These are *cursing used for aggressive emphasis* people who will not conform … you are a joke. You are quite effeminate! You’re very unmanly and find you unattractive! I have a certificate and outrank you in sanctification! How dare you not listen to your betters! How dare you *cursing used for aggressive emphasis* protect the rebellious? *Extreme dissonance released in a streaming of imprecations*
We have a belief about humanity! We are trying to spread our beliefs to kill off those with competing views, and you’re letting the very *cursing used for aggressive emphasis* seditious near our territory! I demand you resort to violence to protect our honor! You should! Your inaction makes you lose standing in our tribe! You must prove who’s side you are on! *Extreme dissonance released in a streaming of imprecations* It’s not up to our apprentices to kick the ass of the seditious! They shouldn’t be asked to protect our tribe as we have taught them that we already won as the moral arc of the universe guides us. *Aggressive condemnation released in a streaming of imprecations to sentence the lazy and treasonous louts not beating up citizens*
I outrank you in power, I am better than you; why do you not heed my command? *Coming to terms with her territorial loss*… you will not defend our borders! *Final imprecation to the pagan idols from the high priestess to cast off and make a scapegoat of the unmanly traitors who have failed to protect their turf and brought dishonor on their tribe.*

Whatever happened to the art of parenting?
Just look at this.

I mean what kind of parents raised a child like this? And it’s not just some isolated case.
Why did Brian Williams raise his girl to get a ‘rimjob’ on TV?
Why did Emma Sulk’s mother praise her girl’s rape-porn-video?
Why did Dunham’s parents raise such a lousy brat?
People need to see THE GODFATHER PART II for lessons on proper parenting.
Be like Vito Corleone(except the crime).

I blame Boomer and Generation X'ers parents, the worst parents in the history of mankind.
Yes, that's why I wondered if a ham sandwich could shut this plus-sized screecher up. Permanently.
“Note: she’s not exactly a professor”
Than how does she pay her bills? Is she a Lesbian escort?
The worst of the SJWs and anti-white militants tend to be adjunct professors or untenured “lecturers” plus urban community college students.
You can get about $15,000 in federal student loans a year in cash as “living expenses” if you go to a cheap community college. That is plenty for a black bloc weirdo type to live off of, and it isn’t like they will ever pay them back out of their “art,” “activism,” or barista jobs.
Many people live off student loans while barely attending school. You can milk this for over decade until the loans come due.
There is a mentality on the Left that university professors should be treated like royalty. On the Left being a college professor is seen as a trillion times more prestigious a profession than being a doctor who saves lives.
Let’s face facts here.
She is a lobster porn star.

It’s funny…
Professors used to be serious and sober, maybe too much so.
They studied high culture or noble art of letters and ignored the rest.
Then, things began to change.
Professors retained their seriousness and sobriety but argued that there was things of genuine worth in culture other than high culture. So, men like Andrew Sarris remained professional and dignified as academics but also praised pop culture of value.
Then…
professors lost their sobriety & dignity but retained their sense of seriousness. Camille Paglia was a good example of this. She had no hangups or inhibitions about indulging in the crassest kind of pop culture, TV soap opera, porn, and etc, BUT she still took it seriously as subject of academic study. And this maintained some degree of distance between academia and pop culture.
Then…
professors lost their seriousness also. There no longer is any demarcation between academia and pop culture. These profs want to be pop stars and celebrities or play at being such. It’s permissible for professors to get piercings, tattoos, funny-colored hair, and etc.
Granted, most college departments still have serious people. And some departments are still quite sober. I highly doubt if the likes of Goyette abound in history departments and sciences.
But you see more and more of these clowns in (in)humanities, English, and anything related to creative fields. These people went from studying pop culture to immersing in pop culture. They don’t have the looks or talent to become big stars or celebs, but they fantasize themselves as such in their academic bubble with doting teacher’s pets as audience and fans. It’s all so pathetic.
This Goyette woman acts like she really wants a Reality TV show.
When young ones arrive in college and have, as professor, some immature clown with piece of steel through her nose and tattoos all over her arms, what goes through their minds? That even the ivory tower of higher education is some circus freak show for those who refuse to grow up.
Epic Flail

Side topic but this a hidden scandal of the student loan crisis. Student loans cover education, rent, and living expenses.

I am either envious or jealous of the language skills on this occasion of justwonderingaboutbaseball (typically I just feel sorry for people who feel passionately one way or another about baseball, but this situation is different). Not sure which (envious or jealous). That being said, the poor woman on the video may someday be a wonderful person who loves and cares for others. We all make mistakes, and we outgrow them: the Bible tells us it is better to be passionate than lukewarm, and the Bible also tells us to feel compassion for the stupid and the clueless. One day in the early 80s I got in a fight with someone who, truth be told, was mostly in the right on that particular occasion… that being said (sorry to repeat myself), I was correct in pointing out to my then-adversary that his girlfriend (now his unlovely, sad to say, wife , and mother of at least two of his three children – the third one does not, to tell the truth, look much like him) had slandered another person who did not deserve to be slandered. I was wrong in exaggerating the importance of his future wife’s slander… Well Life is complicated! (the ‘fight’ was a draw, by the way: each of us had friends who knew how to intervene at the appropriate time….)

Breaking news: Trump’s travel ban on immigrants has been nullified by a federal judge on the grounds of unconstitutionality. And the most ironic thing is that the judge that did this was nomeated by George W.Bush!
Ha ha ha ha ha ha! If you conservatives think you’ll get all your wishes now that Trump is President despite having lost the popular vote by more than one million votes, you are sadly mistaken. Trump’s 4 year term will be a *war*. It’s not that he is facing daunting and unreleting opposition from liberals only, but even a sizable part of the GOP also loaths him.
I am making a prediction right here: Trump will lead America to it’s second civil war. The guy is hard-headed, uncompromising and emotionally extremely sensitive and vindictive. He is going to implode, and he will take a lot of people with him.
This is what you get when you elect a notorious charlatan for President.
The violence so far has been in one direction. Does that mean the White Nationalist movement is a paper tiger?
Our side has no shock troops while theirs are well equipped, well paid & well organized
we are doomed!
2017 is going to be 1968 all over again, except in ideological reverse: The left know they have lost the argument, which is why they are acting like such desperately hysterical losers at the moment.
The total budget of all WN/WP organizations in the US is a fraction of the annual operating budget of the Los Angeles chapter of B'nai Brith-a very small fraction.
Physically fit reasonably young males are not all that upset right now, in the grand scheme of things. Those who can lift heavy loads, walk fair distances and do physical work which also requires some intelligence can usually get hired on in a "man job" paying enough to feed a wife and two kids if the wife works at least part time. I myself, at my age, was actually offered a slot as a lineman trainee with a local power utility-I'm in good shape now and walk and swim a lot-but that they were willing to consider someone my age says that young applicants are not that abundant.
The upset are guys in crummy shape. They are the guys that would have had a manufacturing job in the 70s or early 80s, but those all closed up. They are not going to be much use in a streetfight with antifa scum.
The antifa are obviously subsidized and tend to pursue targets of opportunity. They are beatable if you have a reasonable core of young tough men willing to get in a fight with them. Pound them hard and rip off their masks for everyone to see.
Operation Barabarossa look the same.... at first

We don't have to do anything at this point, the Left is eating itself alive. It has no leadership, none. Besides we have the perfect weapon to help do them in - Milo. We simply send him to every liberal academic stronghold across the country and watch the Left go on the rampage and destroy their own institutions.
As long as they're rioting in the cities, we're fine. Let the Left keep doing what it's doing and it'll will be no more than a collection of ethnic gangs that can't get along.

Part of the reason may be that adjuncts are so enraged is that they’re getting screwed so bad by the education industry. They see tenured professors making $90,000, administrators making that or more, and university presidents making $200,000-$600,000 at a state college and more at a private one. Meanwhile, adjuncts make minimum wage — literally — and have no benefits or job security.
Although I’m a right-winger, the obscene racket of higher education sort of makes me understand how it generates so many communists. At my institution, an adjunct teaching eight classes makes about $15,000 — and has to pay union dues out of that. Students have no idea that their professors are making the same amount they are working at McDonald’s.
I read a statistic somewhere that half the college classes taught in the nation are taught by adjuncts. Talk about the bourgeoisie ripping off the proletariat!!! But the adjuncts should channel their hate not at capitalism or at the cops, but at the university system — which is not capitalist at all. It’s a rigged system to guarantee that government money flows into certain pockets at the top of the food chain. Teaching students is incidental to the massive system of graft that the university has become. They’ll put any live body with a pulse in front of a classroom and pay $2000 to teach the course. If it’s a course on “lobster porn,” so be it. Most of the students aren’t interested in challenging subjects anyway, and the administrators need to keep them entertained so as to keep enrollment up to line their own pockets.
Indeed, we know that postdocs and (sometimes) assistant professors are the hopeless cannon fodder of academia, chewed up and expelled in their 40s. But there is at least a carrot dangling in front of them. I have no idea why someone hangs on to work as an adjunct professor, which is not a tenure track position and probably counts negatively for tenure track selection. Except they can in the end brag about being 'a professor'. Just don't ask them what kind. That conversation can get cruel very quickly. ("Oh, is it a named chair?")
That’s a very good translation of the diatribe. To be serious for a moment, I aspired since childhood to an academic career, I thought that would be a tranquil and safe environment where I could study many things and find something worth saying. Thus I always perceived academicians as being a special breed of “leave me alone with my circles” intellectuals. I was privileged to have some great ones as teachers and as colleagues, back in the day. I spent enough time in academia to find that it wasn’t really for me, but I still respect the abstraction.
However, the things that I have seen said and written by college-level instructors in the past 15 years seems to me to be, without much exaggeration, if any, as a complete collapse of scholarly standards in terms of expression, deportment, mentality, and general thoughtful and fair intellectual demeanor. It’s quite shocking really. Do the other posters who were educated, say, in the 1990′s and prior having professors like this?
It’s true that it appears this professor is not “really” a professor in the normal sense, but we can use her as a Jane Roe to cross-reference the Melissa Clicks, and the Annie McClanahans who really are professors and who say pretty much the same things as the Empress, without perhaps as much emphasis.
It seems to me that there has been an utter collapse in the teaching and study of the Humanities or Social Studies or whatever you want to call them.

One of the reasons that Monty Python isn’t so funny anymore is that so much of it turned out to be a blueprint for the current year.
Btw, just saw this:
A Liar's Autobiography: The Untrue Story of Monty Python's Graham Chapman

Progs and the GLOB have been saying ‘go punch nazis’, so there was a lot of ‘nazi’-punching at Berkeley. Initially, the ProGlob was celebrating the violence. ‘Yay, punch those nazis.’
Now, they are saying that those who were punching ‘nazis’ were also ‘nazis’, so shame on them.
Wah?
So… go punch a nazi, and good for you if you do, but you are a nazi for punching a nazi, so shame.
That is some gumbic logic.
PS. Btw, how did a fake-blonde Jewish homo with a gallon of african sperm up his bung become the face of nazism?
Only in America.

The left isn’t really about equality. They’re about humiliating and destroying people they see as morally and intellectually inferior.
I would argue that the average aircraft mechanic saves more lives per $ expensed than the average doctor. The average automobile mechanic might have a higher ratio than the average doctor. Any number of trades are primary to the medical profession, and many of them require comparable discipline, attention to detail, and general intelligence.
My mechanic said after a couple of hours on what ought to have been a relatively routine brake job the guy had made a huge mess of everything, so he stopped the evaluation and told the applicant, not maliciously, but fairly and firmly:
"Look, I'm not trying to be mean, but please go get a job at Jiffy Lube before you kill somebody."
Mechanics and similar workers are egregiously underappreciated.
If you got seriously injured in an airplane crash and you are barely alive an aircraft mechanic is not going to perform surgery on you and save your life.
"The average automobile mechanic might have a higher ratio than the average doctor."
If you get seriously injured in a car crash an automobile mechanic is not going to perform surgery on you and save your life.
If you are diagnosed with prostate cancer, or sciatica, or cataracts for example a mechanic is not going to do jack shit for you.

what would ernest borgnine do said: SP Moore 8: I do not think it as bad as that. Maybe there are many good teachers. I recognize there are many whose heart is not yet in the right place. For example, the poor woman who wrote the Harry Potter books often talks about how much she hates rich English people. She rarely talks about whether or not she feels gratitude for the welfare payments the hard-working people of England gave her, back in the day. Nevertheless, she often proudly “tweets” pictures of poor young English people proudly dressing up as if they were upper class public school students, wearing the uniforms of Eton or Harrow. The poor woman does not know what she is doing: she honestly believes that she is on the side of the good and great. Meanwhile millions and millions of middle-class and lower-class children know, in their heart of hearts, that the billionaire ex-welfare queen JK Rowling thinks they are muggles at best because they are not ever going to go to schools where they are able to, and required to, dress as well as Slytherin and Gryffandor students. The people we conservatives disagree with need our pity not our contempt. I would be devastated if any of my children thought they would be happier living at Hogwarts than at home with me and their mother and their siblings. Poor little JK Rowling, and every single poor little academic striver, probably understands what I have just said, even if their sad little fellow intellectuals do not want them to say it out loud.
However, the things that I have seen said and written by college-level instructors in the past 15 years seems to me to be, without much exaggeration, if any, as a complete collapse of scholarly standards in terms of expression, deportment, mentality, and general thoughtful and fair intellectual demeanor. When I was a child I wanted to be a cowboy . As spotty and hit and miss as it is I am going to guess that my own “education” serves me as well or better than yours . I have followed my own nose in my search for truth . The world is a mystery and always will be . The only reason to go to the university is to learn hard science . The humanities , well there is something to learn there I guess , but better to learn it on your own . You don’t need a puffed up wind bag to teach you about tragedy , about the the futility of striving and yearning for “happiness” . I will go out on a limb here and guess that most of Steve’s fan’s were brought here by pain and frustration . How has your education helped with that ? Spiritual pain is the best instructor there is . Embrace it .
another angle> liberals/leftist need to feel ‘oppressed’ for their agenda to work – and they are willing to distort reality to do that. Hence the fake hate crimes. To them, it doesn’t matter who made the poop swastika, the poop swastika is real. They are kinda like all the feminists who can’t get enough of 50 shades of grey- they ‘want it’
as soon as the ‘right’ ‘strikes back’ (eg actually defends itself ) they can feel like their suppressed inner child selves…
Really? Which part of the Consitution was violated by Trump’s order?
“The judge deemed that Trump’s executive order violated the Constitution and that he exceeded his powers.”
And in so doing, the judge exceeded HIS powers.
It’s always amusing when Nick Diaz pretends to be smart. It’s kind of like putting a pair of glasses on a beagle.
This translation is worthy of Ransom from Out of the Silent Planet. I wasn’t aware we had such fluency in Old Solar in our midst.

I’ve heard that universities are increasingly turning to adjunct professors to teach classes, and also that there is no limit on the number of H-1B employees in academic and research positions (at various levels, I assume) that universities can hire. It sounds as though many Americans who got PhDs and aspired to become professors really are being screwed.

Crazy prediction: The Ninth Circuit, as liberal as it is, reinstates Trump’s Muslim Ban Lite, reversing the Seattle district judge that blocked it nationwide.
A few reasons. First, I think Trump is just correct on the law. Circuit judges tend to care more about getting the law right. Here is the Trump DOJ’s brief in the Seattle case.
https://www.scribd.com/document/338399244/Govt-Opposition-to-TRO-re-Immigration-Executive-Order-Wash-State-Fed-Ct-pdf
Second, I don’t think the Ninth Circuit wants to get overturned by the Supreme Court. Rather even the liberal members will prefer to keep their powder dry for future cases where Trump really does overreach his authority.
Third, it gives the Ninth Circuit a chance to grudgingly just barely uphold the Executive Order pending a trial, which will likely be the last word on the subject as it is unlikely that more conservative circuit courts will rule differently, and I don’t see the Supreme Court accepting a further appeal.
The adjuncts whine, but teaching young adults is one of the safest and most pleasant jobs you can get. If they wanted to make more, they could teach 8th grade math. But that lacks the prestige and pleasure of being a college level teacher. After getting a PhD and teaching undergrads as a grad student, their self image and pride is what stops them from getting s real job. If there is a large ready supply of people wanting to adjunct, there is nothing wrong with colleges paying them market wages.
NYU figured out about 25 years ago that you could hire a lot of these kind of people for peanuts to teach a course as an adjunct.
Academia is a business, it has been in the US at least for a century (see Thorstein Veblen on that). As a result the aim is to maximize profit while selling the cheapest product possible. Colleges and universities also have to dual market their goods: to the parents, who are usually paying for a sizable chunk of the education, if not the whole thing. For that, one showcases the name recognition or resumes of the faculty, the safety of the campus, and the cachet of a degree from the particular school. For the students themselves, one has to emphasize the social aspects -- fun but safe -- the career trajectories of other alumni, the special esprit of the institution, and the social relevance of what is to be taught. The latter is the reason why faculty speaks the language of the internet and social media: because that's what the kids want.
And yet there is something of a bait and switch going on here. Professors, especially the older and more experienced ones, have generally tired of teaching, so the grunt work is farmed out to adjuncts, who give the lectures, write the midterms, grade the papers, and hold the office hours. The adjunct gets $3,000 per course per semester. The parents are paying in the neighborhood of $25,000 a semester for their child to sit at the feet of a National Book Award winner. The kids almost always don't care, as long as they get an A, and if they don't get an A, the parents make enraged phone calls to the Dean of Students. It's a game.
Yes, it's fun to teach young people. But it's not fun to deliver essentially the same lecture every year. I remember professors I worked with who used to recite their lectures as though they were talking in their sleep. But then they had been delivering the same spiel for 30 years. And, no, there aren't really too many ways to "mix it up"; that has to be run past the department head and there are usually fixed metrics about the topics to cover and how much time to devote to each.
You are right that adjuncts really have only themselves to blame. There's a professor out there who has, for fifteen years, been telling anyone who will listen not to go to graduate school in the humanities because there are too many people with Ph.D.'s out there, the market is rough, and you will be lottery winning lucky just to get a tenure track position at the Agricultural College of Southern North Dakota. I've known graduate students and adjuncts pushing 40 who really, really should have left it behind and gotten on with real life. I don't know what happened to them in the end. But graduate schools have to justify their existence too, so they keep bringing in students to fill slots and work for higher degrees.
So, yes, there probably is a lot of adjunct gnashing of teeth, and yes, they probably should know better, but they usually have never been out of a schooling environment since kindergarten and this is all they know. But that doesn't change the fact that the system is corrupt.
Let's also not forget that we're in class more per year than college teachers, with increasingly longer professional development mandates that has made the "full summer off" a thing of the past. I like the break I do get, but if I spread all my time out across 52 weeks, it still comes to more than 40 a week through the year. For professors at competitive universities, that's probably the case as well, but is in no way true for an adjunct. Presumption of Constant Improvement in the classroom. No college teacher is really expected to be constantly evaluating his teaching style unless he's in the doghouse. In public schoool, everyone, regardless of their evaluation level, is supposed to be working on new approaches to reach the kids. This of course is tied to secondary school being mandatory for all children, so we've got a much wider range of students to teach. In other words, diversity takes time. The obvious selection filters of college ensure that even at the community college level, adjuncts have less of the left hand of the curve to deal with.
While professors are in the publish or perish mode, adjuncts don't really have that much to do beyond classroom times, a few assignments to grade, and a few office hours (if they really care about what they do).Greater Overall Responsibility-The average college professor will never have to break up a fight or disarm a student. I've had to do that plenty. Nor is he responsible for a student's well being to the degree that is expected of a grade school teacher. By law we are mandated to be on the lookout for bullying or child abuse. It's presumed we will meet with every parent, thus adding another figure into the classroom equation, whether that's a good thing or not.
We are expect to help out with proms, dances, sporting events, fundraisers, and a host of other things. There are few teachers to aren't coaching or sponsoring some extra-curricular activity.
I could never tell if you were sincere or trolling before this post. Thanks for eliminating that doubt
Captain GLOB. He did NOTHING to defend Muslim world from Wars for Israel & globalism that destroyed nations and unleashed the refugee crisis, but he will work with Muslims and degenerates to attack American Patriots.

How come you don't blame Muslims for hating American Patriots way more than they hate the political Left. The fact that Muslims politically get in bed with the likes of Black Lies Matter, George Soros, Antifa, Feminazis, Nancy Pelosi, etc means that Muslims are just as equally degenerate as they are. New York City has a huge number of people of smart people who are underemployed: e.g., they were making 7 figures on Wall Street, then took awhile off to travel and now are waiting around for a minimum $500k job. Or their novel got optioned for a movie and the NYC-based director wants them in town while the screenwriters work on it. Or their husband makes 8 figures so they don’t work, but now the kids are in school, so dusting off their art history Ph.D. to teach one class a day is fun.
NYU figured out about 25 years ago that you could hire a lot of these kind of people for peanuts to teach a course as an adjunct.
500 years ago this woman would have been labelled ‘A Common Scold’ and be given the ducking stool. Not sure it would have worked back then or now, though.
And you imagine your side will win this war? Keep thinking that, pendejo.
500 years ago, this woman would have been labelled “A Common Whore”.
A Lesbian whore.
It’s a sucker’s game. This happens in the sciences too. And the various professional scientific societies are willing accomplices. They’re going all-in on “gender-equity” too – and not just for women, but for all the imaginary “genders” as well. Academia has become nothing so much as a fraud and a racket.
Not completely. But as they used to say arguing about Jesus, the part that isn't corrupt is like a drop of honey in the ocean.
The only thing wrong with paying adjuncts market wages is that the system allows them be paid comparatively little for doing most of the actual teaching and associated work involved in higher education.
For the students themselves, one has to emphasize the social aspects — fun but safe — the career trajectories of other alumni, the special esprit of the institution, and the social relevance of what is to be taught. The latter is the reason why faculty speaks the language of the internet and social media: because that’s what the kids want.
The kids almost always don’t care, as long as they get an A, and if they don’t get an A, the parents make enraged phone calls to the Dean of Students. It’s a game.
Yes, it’s fun to teach young people. But it’s not fun to deliver essentially the same lecture every year. I remember professors I worked with who used to recite their lectures as though they were talking in their sleep. But then they had been delivering the same spiel for 30 years. And, no, there aren’t really too many ways to “mix it up”; that has to be run past the department head and there are usually fixed metrics about the topics to cover and how much time to devote to each.
You are right that adjuncts really have only themselves to blame. There’s a professor out there who has, for fifteen years, been telling anyone who will listen not to go to graduate school in the humanities because there are too many people with Ph.D.’s out there, the market is rough, and you will be lottery winning lucky just to get a tenure track position at the Agricultural College of Southern North Dakota. I’ve known graduate students and adjuncts pushing 40 who really, really should have left it behind and gotten on with real life. I don’t know what happened to them in the end.
But that doesn’t change the fact that the system is corrupt.
The busy man in rarely the reflective man.

(Kant used to sigh about his low degree lectures - but he always knew, that his was a dire sigh).
The wish to be a professional without a sigh is a child-like anyway.
That is certainly a part of it with older, tenured professors, but it's the impossible work load of tenure-track employees that really creates this situation where adjuncts are needed. Tenure track professors are not paid to teach...at all. They're expected to open spigots of research money to fill the university coffers, and/or bring prestige to the university.
Every minute spent on teaching and grading is less time spent on hustling for research grants and publishing articles and books (which is necessary to get any grant). The professor who stays late during office hours helping a student won't have a job for long. Because there's somebody in the next office with their door locked furiously publishing their next article and finishing the next NSF grant application.
So, since teaching students is basically worthless, it gets farmed out to the lowest bidder, adjuncts.
Sunset Boulevard isn't the only lonely street in Hollywood.
As someone who bailed from the tertiary-teaching track after a couple of years of graduate study, I can confirm that it's a lot harder to make the break than it sounds to normal people. I feel sorry for many (although definitely not all) adjuncts and post-docs and other hangers-on to the 'life of the mind'.
“500 years ago, this woman would have been labelled “A Common Whore”.”

If you think that George W. Bush was a conservative, you haven’t been paying attention. The people acting like kings today tend to wear black robes and issue ukases based on penumbras and adumbrations they claim to find in the Constitution.
George W. Bush left office with an approval rating of only 20 percent, in a country where 40 percent of the population self identify themselves as Conservatives. So half of all Conservatives in this country do not see Dubya as a real Conservative.
This woman is clearly a complete ass, but she doesn’t represent most professors. Most professors would obviously never make giant asses of themselves in quite this manner.
This post is somewhat childish.
“Captain GLOB. He did NOTHING to defend Muslim world from Wars for Israel & globalism that destroyed nations and unleashed the refugee crisis, but he will work with Muslims and degenerates to attack American Patriots.”
How come you don’t blame Muslims for hating American Patriots way more than they hate the political Left. The fact that Muslims politically get in bed with the likes of Black Lies Matter, George Soros, Antifa, Feminazis, Nancy Pelosi, etc means that Muslims are just as equally degenerate as they are. Muslims can all go to hell just like the rest of The Coalition Of The Fringes.
My motorcycle mechanic once told me of a young guy looking for a job. He gave the applicant what he called a “working interview” by actually having him perform certain tasks to assess his competency.
My mechanic said after a couple of hours on what ought to have been a relatively routine brake job the guy had made a huge mess of everything, so he stopped the evaluation and told the applicant, not maliciously, but fairly and firmly:
“Look, I’m not trying to be mean, but please go get a job at Jiffy Lube before you kill somebody.”
Mechanics and similar workers are egregiously underappreciated.
The police are protecting her. Can’t let this “protest” lead to rapes and murders of the useful idiots. At least not yet. All these things seem to happen in the dark blue areas. Where the police let it happen and control anyone trying to stop it. If it gets to the Real America outside of the bubble of unreality, we may get our Civil War yet.
“I would argue that the average aircraft mechanic saves more lives”
If you got seriously injured in an airplane crash and you are barely alive an aircraft mechanic is not going to perform surgery on you and save your life.
“The average automobile mechanic might have a higher ratio than the average doctor.”
If you get seriously injured in a car crash an automobile mechanic is not going to perform surgery on you and save your life.
If you are diagnosed with prostate cancer, or sciatica, or cataracts for example a mechanic is not going to do jack shit for you.
Blasphemy!

I think the Alt-Right types are patiently playing a long game: They know that they will be vilified in the (((MSM))) if they react in kind to provocations from the left. The more they get beat up on, the more “normies” will wake up and come over to their side. For now it’s all about accruing moral cover for the eventual, and inevitable, counterreaction.
2017 is going to be 1968 all over again, except in ideological reverse: The left know they have lost the argument, which is why they are acting like such desperately hysterical losers at the moment.

I don't think the problem with today's Ed Biz is its conservatism back to the Middle Ages. I think that's got entirely different roots.
Absolutely wrong. There is no sense of obligation from the lords towards the serfs, just all exploitation. It's more likely early modern, with the university asa sort of Spanish Central American place, lots of enmiserated peasants with a few tenured overseers who work for the REAL owners of the system, the admins.
The sense of collegiality and apartness and power of the faculty has been utterly destroyed through the managerial state. When Eisenhower was President of Columbia University, he made a comment as to the faculty being an important part of the institution. He was corrected: "We ARE the institution." That is the Medieval spirit in academics, and it is dead.

I want to gather some opinions here in The Unz, what percentage of single women on the political Left are marriage material in your opinion?
500 years ago they'd have been safely immured in convents as unweddable, annoying only each other, not the productive yeomanry.
Some people decide who they want to be with based 100% on looks. Or if not just that, I have friends who married girls because they were the 'type' of women - looks-wise, job-wise, ethnic fetishes, etc - they always pictured themselves with. Only one major blow-up divorce so far. Politics are irrrelevant in those situations.
But maybe you meant marriage material in terms of willingness to settle down, have kids, etc. In that case, my answer to your question depends on what you mean by the political left. Most people's political opinions are a mile wide and an inch deep. Hence there are plenty of women who would put on the pussy hat and maybe mutter something about equal pay only to find themselves a few years later staying at home with two kids and baking cookies for the PTA and living off of their well-paid corporate husband like its nothing. I've seen it happen. On the other hand, a super hardcore Leftist pursuing an advanced degree in intersectional gender studies is not going to make that transition, probably. But you never know really.
Or is marriage material a whole package of compatibility? In that case, for a thoughtful person such as yourself, someone's current political orientation is less important than their willingness to consider ideas and not be a regurgitative partisan hack, and to just be a generally good person and partner otherwise.
My 2 cents is that the most important thing to look for in a potential spouse these days is someone who is not a slave to Faceborg, InstaAttentionWhore, and Twittler. Other than in very small doses, those things are truly poisonous to human behavior across the board.

Even counting FBI/ATF/$PLC operatives, hobbyists, the flat out demented, NSDAP memorabilia/logo fetishists, and all the other dysfunctionals the total WN/WP order of battle (sic) in the US is probably less than ten thousand people, of which a relatively small proportion consists of able bodied males capable of a good rumble if they wanted.
The total budget of all WN/WP organizations in the US is a fraction of the annual operating budget of the Los Angeles chapter of B’nai Brith-a very small fraction.
Physically fit reasonably young males are not all that upset right now, in the grand scheme of things. Those who can lift heavy loads, walk fair distances and do physical work which also requires some intelligence can usually get hired on in a “man job” paying enough to feed a wife and two kids if the wife works at least part time. I myself, at my age, was actually offered a slot as a lineman trainee with a local power utility-I’m in good shape now and walk and swim a lot-but that they were willing to consider someone my age says that young applicants are not that abundant.
The whole idea of adjunct professors is that it is a temporary position for those who hope to get a tenure-track job or a postdoc. Some percentage of them succeed at getting such a position, and the vast majority leave after a few years if they can’t get a permanent position. The ones who hang on as permanent adjoints are anomalies, or at least they should be.
And the children suffer for it.

If America has a teacher shortage it’s because the childless White Liberal cat ladies are dying off, after all that is the largest demographic group that become teachers in America. Most of these White Liberal cat lady teachers aren’t breeding future female teachers to follow in their footsteps.
Most of the White female teachers I had in K-12 had no ring around their left ring finger.

“The violence so far has been in one direction. Does that mean the White Nationalist movement is a paper tiger?
Antifa vastly outnumber White nationalists by a huge landslide. Antifa has members in every big city in America from Oakland to New York City to Los Angeles to Boston to San Diego to Washington DC to Seattle to Chicago, etc. Antifa are the most organized and dangerous street gang in America today.
If White nationalists were to start a violent war with Antifa than White nationalists would be wiped off the face of the earth.
I am not sure I buy that. WNs don't stick their heads above the parapet because there is no WN friendly power. Big business, government, media, entertainment, education, NGOs etc are all anti-white. Some 818 companies have been pushed by the left to boycott Breitbart.
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/breitbart-advertising-activists-campaign-petition-milo-yiannopoulos-a7559441.html
WNs don't want their careers to be destroyed. And since a family is a central aspect of WN, it is important to have a career. So I think it is not very valid to look at offline street presence as a metric for WN adherence. Online where anonymity is afforded, that's a better indication.
By contrast, antifa have something of a roving Potemkin village aspect to them. It is a lot of the same people being busses around the country for individual events. A kind of thin red or pink line. Paid for by Soros, a lot of them are not the reproducing type and so can afford to be semi-nomadic. When I was dating a leftist Jewish woman many moons ago, she evidently had ties to the anti-WTO protests from what she told me. I thought of them as smelly hippies. It surprised me that those sort of groups were well organized and funded.
Anyway, here is a list of the people arrested recently at the inauguration riots. It would not surprise me if many of them were involved elsewhere in the US in protests. But obviously as Dabney Miller evidenced in Berkeley, there is often a local contingent too.
http://gotnews.com/breaking-heres-full-list-231-people-arrested-inauguration-riots-dc/
Anyway, for antifa up until now all the wheels in the establishment have been turning in their direction. They are visible, WN are not.
Compared to say MS-13 or the 1% MC they're nothing.
All the white nationalists should do at this is to encourage anti-fa to keep rioting in democratic controlled urban areas. Let the Left kill itself off.

Sorry, these people were communists before they were adjunct professors. It’s more remarkable that they hang on to their faith so long when ground up by the machine. Rather useless people who can’t even cobble together their own bitter Lucky Jim about the whole racket.
Except they can in the end brag about being ‘a professor’. Just don’t ask them what kind. That conversation can get cruel very quickly. (“Oh, is it a named chair?”)

So, yes, there probably is a lot of adjunct gnashing of teeth, and yes, they probably should know better, but they usually have never been out of a schooling environment since kindergarten and this is all they know. But that doesn't change the fact that the system is corrupt.
The highly paid faculty had better hope nobody figures out they are actually redundant. Well, except for getting research grants to beget more research grants. Another toffee, Doctor?

500 years ago they’d have been safely immured in convents as unweddable, annoying only each other, not the productive yeomanry.
Watch out, they say the F word, along with other swear words, so it might not be suitable for some of the more delicate Unz readers.
Btw, just saw this:

It’s pretty good in a “the way things were” sort of way — along with John Cleese’s Clockwise which I saw referenced on here earlier.
The rising cost of food in America somehow = racism against Blacks.

What isn’t racist against Blacks? Yawn.
That post of “justwonderingaboutbaseball” was great but I have to ask is he a Mets fan ? If so how sad . I had hoped that someone among us would pick a winner for a change . BTW I hate the Red Sox and all their fans . May God rain down his wrath on Fenway and all the Papists that gather there to make their foul and unholy sacrifices . May they never get within visual range of the Pennant again . Huh ! There ! is much more than a “whiff” of insanity for you . Once it was the National Past time .
The outlook wasn’t brilliant for the Mudville Nine that day;
the score stood four to two, with but one inning more to play.
And then when Cooney died at first, and Barrows did the same,
a sickly silence fell upon the patrons of the game.
A straggling few got up to go in deep despair. The rest
clung to that hope which springs eternal in the human breast;
they thought, if only Casey could get but a whack at that –
they’d put up even money, now, with Casey at the bat.
But Flynn preceded Casey, as did also Jimmy Blake,
and the former was a lulu and the latter was a fake,
so upon that stricken multitude grim melancholy sat,
for there seemed but little chance of Casey’s getting to the bat.
But Flynn let drive a single, to the wonderment of all,
and Blake, the much despised, tore the cover off the ball;
and when the dust had lifted, and the men saw what had occurred,
there was Jimmy safe at second and Flynn a-hugging third.
Then from five thousand throats and more there rose a lusty yell;
it rumbled through the valley, it rattled in the dell;
it knocked upon the mountain and recoiled upon the flat,
for Casey, mighty Casey, was advancing to the bat.
There was ease in Casey’s manner as he stepped into his place;
there was pride in Casey’s bearing and a smile on Casey’s face.
And when, responding to the cheers, he lightly doffed his hat,
no stranger in the crowd could doubt ’twas Casey at the bat.
Ten thousand eyes were on him as he rubbed his hands with dirt;
five thousand tongues applauded when he wiped them on his shirt.
Then while the writhing pitcher ground the ball into his hip,
defiance gleamed in Casey’s eye, a sneer curled Casey’s lip.
And now the leather-covered sphere came hurtling through the air,
and Casey stood a-watching it in haughty grandeur there.
Close by the sturdy batsman the ball unheeded sped–
“That ain’t my style,” said Casey. “Strike one,” the umpire said.
From the benches, black with people, there went up a muffled roar,
like the beating of the storm-waves on a stern and distant shore.
“Kill him! Kill the umpire!” shouted someone on the stand;
and it’s likely they’d have killed him had not Casey raised his hand.
With a smile of Christian charity great Casey’s visage shone;
he stilled the rising tumult; he bade the game go on;
he signaled to the pitcher, and once more the spheroid flew;
but Casey still ignored it, and the umpire said: “Strike two.”
“Fraud!” cried the maddened thousands, and echo answered fraud;
but one scornful look from Casey and the audience was awed.
They saw his face grow stern and cold, they saw his muscles strain,
and they knew that Casey wouldn’t let that ball go by again.
The sneer is gone from Casey’s lip, his teeth are clenched in hate;
he pounds with cruel violence his bat upon the plate.
And now the pitcher holds the ball, and now he lets it go,
and now the air is shattered by the force of Casey’s blow.
Oh, somewhere in this favored land the sun is shining bright;
the band is playing somewhere, and somewhere hearts are light,
and somewhere men are laughing, and somewhere children shout;
but there is no joy in Mudville — mighty Casey has struck out .
Then from five thousand throats and more there rose a lusty yell;
it rumbled through the valley, it rattled in the dell;
it knocked upon the mountain and recoiled upon the flat,
for Trump , mighty Trump, was advancing to the bat.
Will there be any joy in Mudville tonight ?
Ouch that must really hurt her vagina.
Right now I’m streaming Roe v. Wade 7: Enter the Cara-Piss. It’s meh.
Then from five thousand throats and more there rose a lusty yell;
it rumbled through the valley, it rattled in the dell;

Our side has no shock troops while theirs are well equipped, well paid & well organized
we are doomed!
Relax. Trump is putting his pieces in position. As Steve wrote in this thread:
Beyond that, we have ‘troops’ in the form of rank-and-file uniformed patriotic oath keepers and millions of Core Civilians keeping their powder dry. We don’t need to counter mass violent demonstrations with the same.
Just look at this.

I mean what kind of parents raised a child like this? And it's not just some isolated case.
Why did Brian Williams raise his girl to get a 'rimjob' on TV?
Why did Emma Sulk's mother praise her girl's rape-porn-video?
Why did Dunham's parents raise such a lousy brat?
People need to see THE GODFATHER PART II for lessons on proper parenting.

They didn’t, they were all nice and normal until they got to university.
That would be fine, except for the fact that there is no free market in higher education. Colleges get government funding, they pay no taxes, and students are government-subsidized. And there is no competition or accountability for jobs of professors and administrators who are tenured. Faculty don’t get paid “market wages;” in most cases, they get unionized contracts that either lock them in — on, in the case of adjuncts, lock them out.
A brilliant adjunct who makes a lot of money for the college by teaching hundreds of students does not get paid what the market would dictate. Neither does a tenured old crank teaching unpopular sections with four or five students. It’s not a “market” — it’s a rigged game from top to bottom.
Mr.Anon
“Really? Which part of the Consitution was violated by Trump’s order?”
A lot of it, you moron. Equality before the law, right to due process, respect for diplomatic treaties previosuly ractified by Congress, etc. the list goes on and on. You are a f-king idiot.
“And in so doing, the judge exceeded HIS powers.”
No, he did not. The job of a federal judge is to evaluate the Constitutionality of decisions made by the federal executive branch of government, such as those made by the President. He is acting legally. You clearly have no idea what you’re talking about.
“It’s always amusing when Nick Diaz pretends to be smart. It’s kind of like putting a pair of glasses on a beagle.”
Fuck you, retard. I find it hilarious that a white trash idiot like you think that he’s smarter than me. Ha ha ha ha.. Listen here, kid. You are not smart. Even if I became brain damaged, I’d still be smarter than you.
Everyone from a race that has been to the moon raise your hand.
There is nothing illegal or unconstitutional about the executive order in question. The only problem with it is that it does not go far enough.I am hardly what one would call “white trash”. And I am clearly a lot smarter than you, and far better educated and more widely read. You, on the other hand, can’t even spell or compose a proper sentence. You write like a dullard, and you have the reasoning power of an earthworm. I’ve also noticed that you don’t use the reply button; I assume you don’t want your replies to be searchable, in the hopes that you will get in the last word unchallenged. That’s rather passive-aggressive of you; very beta. But, unsuprising from a stupid nitwit like you.

You guys are really clinging to the “popular vote” thing, aren’t you. I guess that’s 100% of what winning the popular vote gets you: hot air.
Here’s why Trump’s presidency is a win: it’s four years without a Democrat in office. Heck, it’s 4 years without a cuckservative in office.
That may not be much, but it’s a Hell of a lot better than a Democrat or a cuckservative in office.
Personally, I hope Trump makes good use of his veto powers, should the need arise.
“Getting all our wishes via a president” is more of a leftist delusion.
Trump presidency reminds me of the “fight them over there, so we don’t have to fight them over here” thing. It was silly as used, but it works for the Trump presidency. If the left is fighting to stop Trump, they aren’t advancing their agenda.
It’s not better than what is on Steve Sailer’s blog, though (iow*: Thanks for making me laugh!).

Doctors still trump mechanics by a huge landslide in terms of people society can not live without. Society would crumble without doctors.
It’s good to see as my local Sunday paper gets smaller and smaller, there is still no shortage of leftist nonsense to cram in. It’s like reading the Anti-Sailer. For example:
1) I didn’t count them all, but at least 10 articles, letters to the editor, editorials, and even in the tiny 4 page art section something blasting Trump on immigration. No subtlety at all. And a bonus sidebar by Alan Gomez, Sunday marks the centennial of one of the darkest, most discriminatory immigration turns in American history: the passage of the Immigration Act of 1917.
In some ways, the 1917 law serves as a reminder of how different the times were back then. It banned “idiots” and “imbeciles” and created a literacy test targeting immigrants from eastern Europe.
Why in the world should be have discriminating tastes on who we let in? Illiterate idiots and imbeciles welcome!! This is where you post the Seinfeld clip on huddled masses.
2) Who wins from Trump immigration policy? Robotic berry pickers, for a start
You would think that high tech solutions to back breaking old world problems would be good news, so it feels like they are a bit conflicted in this story. I think they really wrote it just to be able to break out one of their greatest hits:
“I have growers who have had to leave crops in the field to rot because they can’t get pickers,” said Karen Caplan, president and CEO of Frieda’s, a specialty produce company based near Los Angeles.
There it is, they can’t help themselves. It’s the labor market version of yelling “FREEBIRD!!!” at every concert.
3) Another benefit of all this immigration is that we now learn that nice, white, female teachers are a problem in our increasingly diverse student (black and brown) body.
The face of the American teacher: White and female, while her students are ethnically diverse
Fifteen years ago, nearly nine out of 10 public school teachers were white, and more than seven in 10 were women. Their classrooms were mostly white as well — fewer than three in 10 were minorities.
Fast-forward to today.
Minority students account for four in 10 public school kids. One in five speaks a language other than English at home, and one in four comes from a single-parent household.
The best part is, I tried to Google today’s article and that came up. Check out the date of when it first ran; July 2………..2003!!! I had no idea this was such an old liberal hobby horse.
I think newspapers can start to really cut costs by eliminating all humans, have roughly 15-20 templates on hand with Mad Libs sytle blanks in it, and have a computer just fill in the specifics.
I can’t seem to get the video to embed, so just click on this quick clip.
So you’d have preferred a murderess as commander-in-chief? She was a horrible Secretary of State.
This post is somewhat childish.
True, but they think the same way and believe the same things. They are still subverting their students, their universities and society. Bill Ayers led the way in commie/lefty infiltration and subversion of our thousands university establishments and especially their humanities departments. He was a trail blazer but many university level educrats acted on their own. This is a very dismal state of affairs
NYU figured out about 25 years ago that you could hire a lot of these kind of people for peanuts to teach a course as an adjunct.
In lots of other places in the world, this is (very) old knowledge.
There is no hope with the ninth but this moves it up the Federale’s judicial food chain and team Trump should do its best to expedite this on all levels. Trump’s man should be in place soon on the Supreme Court. The objective should be to get Trumps ban affirmed as soon as possible because the Muslim undesirables are still landing in US airports. AKA the death of a thousand cuts. For us.
OT: lol

.
That is certainly a part of it with older, tenured professors, but it’s the impossible work load of tenure-track employees that really creates this situation where adjuncts are needed. Tenure track professors are not paid to teach…at all. They’re expected to open spigots of research money to fill the university coffers, and/or bring prestige to the university.
Every minute spent on teaching and grading is less time spent on hustling for research grants and publishing articles and books (which is necessary to get any grant). The professor who stays late during office hours helping a student won’t have a job for long. Because there’s somebody in the next office with their door locked furiously publishing their next article and finishing the next NSF grant application.
So, since teaching students is basically worthless, it gets farmed out to the lowest bidder, adjuncts.

The Euro-Eloi have been demanding for years that Israelis knuckle under to Jihadic Imperialism. The Euro-Eloi were honest because now they do this to the nations they live in. Their feminized ruling classes (aka degenerates) practice what they preach when they welcome in Muslim demographics warfare.
Plus the Israelis are breeding in stable marriages at a good pace while Euro-Eloi are out shopping/consumerism and riding the cock carousel during prime reproductive years.

I’ve taught high school. While I’m sympathetic to minimum wages for adjuncts, no, they don’t deserve to make as much as I do. Why?
Accountability. Our gradebook is online 24-7 for anyone who has the passcode. Students and parents can start challenging a grade the minute it is posted, and there is no administrative wall of silence that exists in colleges. Also, the sheer amount of grading is orders of magnitude more than an adjuncts’s. Also, our standardized scores are part of public record, subject to the critique of the public. It’s only been very recent that these snowflake eruptions have led the public to examine the CV’s of some of these oddball faculty. Also, a high school teacher is much more of a public figure in everyday life. Eccentricities that are tolerated in college that in no way would be allowed in most places for grade school teachers. We’re assumed to be exemplars in our behavior, unlike Lobster Girl.
Time. I probably put in a total of 60 hours a week on my job, if you account for equipment/lab maintenance, bus duty, planning, grading, attending functions, developing lessons and labs, and so forth. The days of teaching straight from a book have been over in most districts for quite some time. The sheer work that goes into a single week’s class is far more that what an adjunct or even many professors will do.
Let’s also not forget that we’re in class more per year than college teachers, with increasingly longer professional development mandates that has made the “full summer off” a thing of the past. I like the break I do get, but if I spread all my time out across 52 weeks, it still comes to more than 40 a week through the year. For professors at competitive universities, that’s probably the case as well, but is in no way true for an adjunct.
Presumption of Constant Improvement in the classroom. No college teacher is really expected to be constantly evaluating his teaching style unless he’s in the doghouse. In public schoool, everyone, regardless of their evaluation level, is supposed to be working on new approaches to reach the kids. This of course is tied to secondary school being mandatory for all children, so we’ve got a much wider range of students to teach. In other words, diversity takes time. The obvious selection filters of college ensure that even at the community college level, adjuncts have less of the left hand of the curve to deal with.
While professors are in the publish or perish mode, adjuncts don’t really have that much to do beyond classroom times, a few assignments to grade, and a few office hours (if they really care about what they do).
Greater Overall Responsibility-The average college professor will never have to break up a fight or disarm a student. I’ve had to do that plenty. Nor is he responsible for a student’s well being to the degree that is expected of a grade school teacher. By law we are mandated to be on the lookout for bullying or child abuse. It’s presumed we will meet with every parent, thus adding another figure into the classroom equation, whether that’s a good thing or not.
We are expect to help out with proms, dances, sporting events, fundraisers, and a host of other things. There are few teachers to aren’t coaching or sponsoring some extra-curricular activity.

I know they take Druze and other non-Muslim volunteers (because being a second-class citizen in a Western country is being better than a third-class citizen in a Muslim country), but white Christians volunteer for the IDF? That’d be a new one on me, and unlike the Druze etc., they’d take their treatment poorly.
MLK Jr. pulled something similar with the kids and the firehoses on the other side, as I recall. It’s older than you think. Goes back to Christian ideals of ‘turn the other cheek’. Doesn’t work with peoples that have done a lot of warring–they’ll just kill you.
Of course Spencer was probably just too stunned to respond, in all honesty.
I can't say he deserves what he got, it is illegal to assault people, but he is a loudmouth blowhard.
The original idea of adjunct professors was to allow part-time professoring by those with other vocations.
That question is almost impossible to answer, because it depends on your definition of marriage material.
Some people decide who they want to be with based 100% on looks. Or if not just that, I have friends who married girls because they were the ‘type’ of women – looks-wise, job-wise, ethnic fetishes, etc – they always pictured themselves with. Only one major blow-up divorce so far. Politics are irrrelevant in those situations.
But maybe you meant marriage material in terms of willingness to settle down, have kids, etc. In that case, my answer to your question depends on what you mean by the political left. Most people’s political opinions are a mile wide and an inch deep. Hence there are plenty of women who would put on the pussy hat and maybe mutter something about equal pay only to find themselves a few years later staying at home with two kids and baking cookies for the PTA and living off of their well-paid corporate husband like its nothing. I’ve seen it happen. On the other hand, a super hardcore Leftist pursuing an advanced degree in intersectional gender studies is not going to make that transition, probably. But you never know really.
Or is marriage material a whole package of compatibility? In that case, for a thoughtful person such as yourself, someone’s current political orientation is less important than their willingness to consider ideas and not be a regurgitative partisan hack, and to just be a generally good person and partner otherwise.
My 2 cents is that the most important thing to look for in a potential spouse these days is someone who is not a slave to Faceborg, InstaAttentionWhore, and Twittler. Other than in very small doses, those things are truly poisonous to human behavior across the board.
I don't think political affiliations have anything to do with relationship compatibility. In the first place, politics has nothing to do with your actual day to day life, and your personal relationship with anyone. In the second place, most people are willing to back burner their political opinions -- talking about real life here -- if their relationship with someone (business, personal) has other more tangible rewards.
Women tend to skew left by nature, I think. That's part of their charm. But they also tend to not get into confrontations with their BF's or husbands.
Bottom line, if all the women you are meeting are lefties, don't worry about it. Just look for someone who enjoys you, and you them, and who you can work with. That's all that really matters.
In my estimate, only 10 % of women under 28 years old are marriage material. It gets worse as they age.
Even in confining the discussion entirely to the natural sphere, marriage is still immensely more important than is generally acknowledged. It is, first and definitionally, the means of procreation, without which the bloodline, tribe, or race would go extinct. This primordial fact, standing stark and gigantic like a pillar against the plain, alone accounts for nearly the whole of its significance among primitive, traditional and "healthy" peoples. They operate with an expansive definition of marriage which subsumes it within the notion of national identity and is integral with the related concepts of property and social rank. The preservation of the family name, the family plot of land, the dynastic lineage---the glory and toil of one's ancestors---this is paramount. From the very beginning these marriages are designed to produce heirs, because the idea that one's blood should fail to continue, or that the honor of one's name should be lost, is felt as doom worse than death. All of these things comprise but one seamless garment. Ultimately, the bond between a man and his "place," his identity, like the bond between man and wife, is spiritual, metaphysical, mysterious, incapable of scrutiny. This is life itself; it needs no reasons, no explanations.
Consequently, there is no pussyfooting around about marriage among healthy peoples. It is a matter of the utmost seriousness. The choosing of spouses is not an affair into which sentiment intrudes, but a grave matter for the deliberation of parents, priests, and elders. The keeping of women and the upbringing of children are regulated by the strictest protocols. Adultery is often enough a capital crime, to be cuckolded an unbearable disgrace. The entire meaning of one's life is a stake. This is the true definition of the word politics. Politics is not somebody's "belief system," but the actual stream of fighting, striving life with its alliances, battles, and betrayals. All ideology, of whatever flavor and stamp, is anti-political and, therefore, anti-life.
Marriage is the foundation of all society. The family is the first school, the proto-polis, and the "domestic Church." That latter consideration adds a whole new dimension of seriousness to what was already a serious matter. Proceeding from the natural to the supernatural, we must also recognize that among Christians marriage is a sacrament intended to convey sanctifying grace and provide a means of salvation. It is indissoluble save by death, as per Christ's direct command. Spouses are required to labor for each other's salvation with all diligence, to love one another with same charity as Christ had when he hung in the cross for sinful man. The children, too, are required to be brought up in the bosom of the Church and instructed in the faith. A spouse who fails in these duties is worthy of hellfire, and rightfully so.
Now tell me, taking all of this in the round, who today enters into the married state with any such high-minded intentions? Does anyone even understand the significance of their actions? It is obvious that they do not. Marriage today is a craft-art for genital satisfaction and mutual ego-massaging. The abomination of "gay marriage," the use of contraceptives among married persons, the frequency of divorces, women's liberation---all this testifies to the fact that the idea has been lost. Marriage is no longer a sacrament. Nor is it a natural and civic duty. Along with marriage we have lost the true understanding of family and property, of name and rank, and of life. There are no real marriages today, just as there are no true religious vocations, no true estates, no real aristocrats, no valiants, no kings. We are in an age of Democritian atomism with respect to culture: There is naught but egos and the void.
I would say that Leftist women are not marriageable, but not for the reasons you would think. They would be perfectly marriageable if you could succeed in slapping them out of their modernist stupor, but men and women alike today are almost entirely infantile, feral carrion dogs and will never reacquire the healthy instincts of the wolf.
How so?
Just look at this.

I mean what kind of parents raised a child like this? And it's not just some isolated case.
Why did Brian Williams raise his girl to get a 'rimjob' on TV?
Why did Emma Sulk's mother praise her girl's rape-porn-video?
Why did Dunham's parents raise such a lousy brat?
People need to see THE GODFATHER PART II for lessons on proper parenting.
Be like Vito Corleone(except the crime).
Rebecca looks sort of like Mama Cass, but Cass could at least sing.

I agree. Bad parenting accounts for most of our society’s ills: feminism, thuggery, unbridled and unhinged political activism. Not to mention totally rotten and misbehaving children. One thing leads to another.
I blame Boomer and Generation X’ers parents, the worst parents in the history of mankind.
Brando finds out in LAST TANGO IN PARIS. These freaks still think they are being 'subversive' with sexual stuff. Ironically, they are SO SHOCKED that trump said something about pussy. They should welcome him as a honorary subversive. Btw, if these freaks don't want their pooters grabbed, why are they always putting theirs on display?
Gandhi was the first one to figure out how effective a non-violent/piteous approach was.
As SFG says, the Christians had about 2k years on Gandhi, but mostly correct. I don't think it was an accident that he met with success during the "rope tornado" stage of the British Empire. I am not sure how much Christian success had to do with turning the other cheek, but perhaps worth pointing out that Christianity didn't become Roman state religion until 380CE.

Israeli Arab Chirstians volunteer for the IDF, and in increasing numbers these days. Don’t know if they would be considered “white” though.
I’m a HS teacher. Kids will sometimes say to me something like “Wow! You know so much! All modesty aside- it’s true- I DO know a lot of stuff. Of course if I need anything in my house fixed the only tool I know how to use is the phone. I’ll sometimes say to a kid- “can you do a brake job? can you fix what’s wrong on your car?” They look at me uncomprehendingly, as if to say- “why, everyone can do that!. They are surprised to find folks like me, supposed to be so smart, that can’t!
So what? We need ‘em all.
My son goes to Beloit. (Spare me the “how could you let your son go to that commie factory” comments. He went to play lax) I texted him the morning we got the email from the college’s prexy about the “hate crime” that he should find a bookie and put money down on this being a hoax. Too bad he didn’t. I think the first letter is most likely a hoax, too.
I’m guessing he has never been in a fight in his life.
I can’t say he deserves what he got, it is illegal to assault people, but he is a loudmouth blowhard.
Mr.Anon
“Really? Which part of the Consitution was violated by Trump’s order?”
A lot of it, you moron. Equality before the law, right to due process, respect for diplomatic treaties previosuly ractified by Congress, etc. the list goes on and on. You are not smart.
STFU, dummy. I find it hilarious that a white trash idiot like you think that he’s smarter than me. Ha ha ha ha.. Listen here, kid. You are not smart. Even if I became brain damaged, I’d still be smarter than you.
“Academia has become nothing so much as a fraud and a racket.”
Not completely. But as they used to say arguing about Jesus, the part that isn’t corrupt is like a drop of honey in the ocean.
The system is not only corrupt, but medieval in its class structure.
“medieval in its class structure.”
Absolutely wrong. There is no sense of obligation from the lords towards the serfs, just all exploitation. It’s more likely early modern, with the university asa sort of Spanish Central American place, lots of enmiserated peasants with a few tenured overseers who work for the REAL owners of the system, the admins.
The sense of collegiality and apartness and power of the faculty has been utterly destroyed through the managerial state. When Eisenhower was President of Columbia University, he made a comment as to the faculty being an important part of the institution. He was corrected: “We ARE the institution.” That is the Medieval spirit in academics, and it is dead.
However, the things that I have seen said and written by college-level instructors in the past 15 years seems to me to be, without much exaggeration, if any, as a complete collapse of scholarly standards in terms of expression, deportment, mentality, and general thoughtful and fair intellectual demeanor. It's quite shocking really. Do the other posters who were educated, say, in the 1990's and prior having professors like this?
It's true that it appears this professor is not "really" a professor in the normal sense, but we can use her as a Jane Roe to cross-reference the Melissa Clicks, and the Annie McClanahans who really are professors and who say pretty much the same things as the Empress, without perhaps as much emphasis.
It seems to me that there has been an utter collapse in the teaching and study of the Humanities or Social Studies or whatever you want to call them.
My advice to non-leftists aspiring to become academics is to shoot for a job at one of those well-respected private regional institutions, which is where you’re most likely to find fellow travelers (e.g., University of Dallas, where I think you have to kiss a picture of Thomas More to get a job; or Chapman University, which sports a sculpture of Ayn freaking Rand in one of their quads). Also, non-flagship campuses (University of State, _____) tend not to attract extremists but still foster better research environments than state college systems.
The system is not only corrupt, but medieval in its class structure.
I went all the way but would not recommend it. The PhD takes too long to complete and those are prime working years of your life and career. Academia has become corrupted and it’s obviously very anti-white male. Teaching is somewhat of a joke, if parents knew the details they would revolt. Senior faculty at top tier schools have a sweet gig. I have known a lot of them and they are smart, hard-working people (98% men). My grad school advisor was and still is almost Trumpian. I still get a chance to work with him and get his emails @ 11:30 Sat night. But those jobs are the exceptions, most of them are teaching jobs at Alabama State or Chadron State. Positions at the AZ States or Us of Iowa are almost impossible to land esp as a white male. PC speech codes have created a deadening, depressing, and intimidating atmosphere. It is the same everywhere these days but I think academia is the worst. The kids are encouraged to hate Republicans. It is about 95% democrat and Groupthink overpowers everything. Oh well in my field it’s good to have that degree and it worked out but that also was a few years back. If you aren’t in medicine or engineering etc. you better work on a topic that is relevant and not early 20th century prostitution in the TX panhandle.
I am interested in all the stories re employment in academia. Thanks for yours, and also thanks for you comments yesterday!
It’s not Trump who is initiating the civil war, it’s his Neo-Stalinist opponents. They might end up wishing that they hadn’t done so.
What is it with you trolls and the spelling? Is it congenital?
Equality before the law doesn’t mean what you think it means. It doesn’t mean we have to pretend non-citizens are citizens, foreigners have a right to immigrate, etc.
Due process means people subject to our jurisdiction aren’t locked up and forgotten without trial. Trump’s EO didn’t involve trials.
Respect for treaties is overrated. No treaty should be a suicide pact.
You said the list goes on and on…how long before you name something relevant?
Not to mention that local authorities and law enforcement back up antifas.

Many years ago I remember reading that Laura Z. Hobson — the author of “Gentlemen’s Agreement”, among other things — divorced her first husband because they disagreed about the Hitler Stalin Pact. I laughed out loud.

Now, plenty of women may SAY they care about this issue or another, but they often join groups to socialize and say things to fit in. You just need to find out if a woman takes this stuff too seriously, as she shouldn't as a woman (maybe she is not really a woman at all - you know how it is these days ;-} If you find one that is seriously into anything besides your basic conservatism, then "Houston, we've got a problem - pulling the abort handle now!".
Yes, in case you're wondering, I don't believe women should be voting. (Go ahead you haters, you can hate on me and Ann Coulter together - in your fantasies!)
My wife asked me if I could go and vote for her while I was over there at the polling place. It didn't work out.
Good point, although the pay was higher (relatively) in the 70s. The theory was that it didn’t need to be too high because the adjunct had a “real” job. Preparation wasn’t supposed to be that much because they just adapted what they did in the other job. Somehow the idea got twisted.

It doesn’t matter if a prospective wife is a liberal or not. Women’ s ideals are so shallow they can change overnight when the situation merits a change. What really matters is how much of a feminist she is, because they all are, but to certain degrees. Deep down, feminism is sheer female self-interest, not an ideology. Only luke-warm feminists are marriageable, don’t bother with the rest. You’ll be divorced in less than 5 years.
In my estimate, only 10 % of women under 28 years old are marriage material. It gets worse as they age.
I am not sure I buy that. WNs don’t stick their heads above the parapet because there is no WN friendly power. Big business, government, media, entertainment, education, NGOs etc are all anti-white. Some 818 companies have been pushed by the left to boycott Breitbart.
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/breitbart-advertising-activists-campaign-petition-milo-yiannopoulos-a7559441.html
WNs don’t want their careers to be destroyed. And since a family is a central aspect of WN, it is important to have a career. So I think it is not very valid to look at offline street presence as a metric for WN adherence. Online where anonymity is afforded, that’s a better indication.
Nick Diaz — a glittering example of what we get from our recent immigration extravaganza: someone nobody wants around; of scant ability or accomplishment; but he moves to the US and is promptly qualified to lecture us on how the constitution demands we abolish ourselves and abjectly surrender to invasion.

Oh, what was I on about - yeah, listen, you were writing about Christianity anyway, so use the proper term A.D. goddammit!

Oh, maybe.
How dumb can you get?
I know many Proggy women who are married, seemingly quite happy. Now , the guys they chose are not my kind of men, but I’d like to close with two old saws that perfectly describe marriage.
1. There is a lid for every pot.
2. The best choice for a bride is a woman who is perfectly capable of living by herself, but prefers to live with you .

The only platform you Nazis deserve is on top of a scaffold at the end of a rope!

I have a theory that the overwhelming majority of marriages these days are not real marriages anyway. That is to say, they may have the form of marriage but they lack the substance thereof.
Even in confining the discussion entirely to the natural sphere, marriage is still immensely more important than is generally acknowledged. It is, first and definitionally, the means of procreation, without which the bloodline, tribe, or race would go extinct.

I've known graduate students and adjuncts pushing 40 who really, really should have left it behind and gotten on with real life. I don't know what happened to them in the end. But graduate schools have to justify their existence too, so they keep bringing in students to fill slots and work for higher degrees.

Hollywood has its own supply of adjunct actors, working as waiters or what have you. They reach a point, typically nearing age 40, when they have The Conversation. That entails an honest self-assessment about future prospects, along with a dash, or bucket, of reality about lack of savings, no healthcare, no equity, old car, old clothes, all extra money pissed away on plastic surgery and ‘talent lessons’ to act,, sing, dance or perform oral better.
Sunset Boulevard isn’t the only lonely street in Hollywood.
If you haven’t a strong stomach, you may not wish to view her in her artistic endeavors.
"Really? Which part of the Consitution was violated by Trump’s order?"
A lot of it, you moron. Equality before the law, right to due process, respect for diplomatic treaties previosuly ractified by Congress, etc. the list goes on and on. You are a f-king idiot.
"And in so doing, the judge exceeded HIS powers."
No, he did not. The job of a federal judge is to evaluate the Constitutionality of decisions made by the federal executive branch of government, such as those made by the President. He is acting legally. You clearly have no idea what you're talking about.

None of which applies to non-citizens applying for entry to America. No foreigner has a constitutional right to come here. Cite the sections of the Constitution, by number, that are being violated, Mr. Constitutional scholar.
“…respect for diplomatic treaties previosuly ractified (sic) by Congress, etc.”
And which treaty “previosuly ractified” by Congress is being violated here? Name it.
There is nothing illegal or unconstitutional about the executive order in question. The only problem with it is that it does not go far enough.
“I find it hilarious that a white trash idiot like you think that he’s smarter than me.”
I am hardly what one would call “white trash”. But, unsuprising from a stupid dips**t like you.

“Mechanics and physicians prevent deaths in different ways. #captainobvious”
Doctors still trump mechanics by a huge landslide in terms of people society can not live without. Society would crumble without doctors.
It's a win-win situation, as is every functional economy.
Our side has no shock troops while theirs are well equipped, well paid & well organized
we are doomed!

We don’t have to do anything at this point, the Left is eating itself alive. It has no leadership, none. Besides we have the perfect weapon to help do them in – Milo. We simply send him to every liberal academic stronghold across the country and watch the Left go on the rampage and destroy their own institutions.
As long as they’re rioting in the cities, we’re fine. Let the Left keep doing what it’s doing and it’ll will be no more than a collection of ethnic gangs that can’t get along.
Insane. There is no way that can actually be true. I mean the story itself, not the fact that CBS makes the claim.
Would that creature qualify for membership in the ‘creative class’ or creass?
If so, what does she create? Or, is the gimmick all about being ‘creative’ even if you create nothing of value?
Our neighborhood elementary school had many young single teachers. The more active Moms used their, ahem, connections to set up dates, when not arranging mani-pedi appointments or delivering Starbucks or lunch to their new friends on the faculty and staff. That was all with the aim of getting little David or Rachel into the right class, with the right students and teacher, to assure that the next years would all be on track for admission to Harvard. There were many rehab visits along the way.

Anti-fa is a joke. It’s composed of white trustfundians and moochers who are bused into protests to cause trouble They are only a problem because the most cities are run by liberals who tell the cops to let anti-fa do as they please for whatever reason.
Compared to say MS-13 or the 1% MC they’re nothing.
All the white nationalists should do at this is to encourage anti-fa to keep rioting in democratic controlled urban areas. Let the Left kill itself off.
Antifa makes White Nationalists look like girl scouts in comparison. Antifa are bad to the bone.
"Compared to say MS-13 or the 1% MC they’re nothing."
MS-13 in The U.S tend to limit their violence for the most part to the hood which is considered part of fringe America. Antifa OTOH bring their violence to mainstream America/main street USA which makes them even more dangerous.
Antifa isn’t restricting their violence toward white nationalists. Most people have seen the girls in Trump hats getting maced and clubbed. If they keep that up, their opposition will grow exponentially.
Ouch that must really hurt her vagina.
It’s much worse for the lobster.
Too much fluorine in the water at CBS?
In any case, time to drive up with the horse retirement truck before this turns into a full zombie outbreak.

Can’t get the doctor around w/o the mechanic.

If you need surgery to remove a cancer tumor, is the mechanic going to perform the surgery? Nope you are just going to drop dead, you are screwed.
Is it just me or are snarky hipsters egging her on at the end? Just the way some of them say “She’s a PROFESSOR!”

I'm surprised no journalist is interested in investigating the antifa movement. It's a billion dollar scam, worldwide.
Without a doubt, an enormous percentage of reasonably attractive/smart/caring women of “childbearing age” identify as being on the political Left. How deep their political beliefs run, and how many of them merely conform to the side with the most cultural capital, is a whole other question.
I detected that too. There seemed to be a tone of sarcasm in thier chorus. Perhaps they’ve known women like her before and are suitably unimpressed.
Is that like a division of like gender studies and film, like?

Indeed, so many of these immigrants (such as, I presume, Nick Diaz) are truly the gift that keeps on giving – kind of like syphilis.

Mr. Moore can speak for himself, but I think he was more likely referring to the real father of this genre, William Pannapacker (a.k.a Thomas Hart Benton – he used a pseudonym at first before he himself was tenured). Since then several others have entered this field, including Mr. 100 Reasons and Rebecca Schuman (who sometimes writes interesting things but has political views similar to those of her fellow Rebecca above).
“So I think it is not very valid to look at offline street presence as a metric for WN adherence. Online where anonymity is afforded, that’s a better indication.”
Political street violence is an extremely valid metric to determine who has the numbers and the power. Antifa run the streets and they also run social media, while White nationalists don’t run shit. He who commits the most political violence holds the most power. Power is gained through violence and violence is what Antifa has in spades. Nobody can stop Antifa. Antifa are the most powerful organization on the planet. Antifa have political connections that The Five Families can only dream of. Antifa have powerful politicians in the back of their pockets.
That is just lazy leftist boilerplate, I really expect far more meandering pointless verbiage from you Duck, step up your game.
“The only platform you Nazis deserve is on top of a scaffold at the end of a rope!”
Isn’t the Left suppose to be anti-hanging? Why are you people culturally appropriating KKK tactics?
Our Ukrainian friends are not amused by this outburst!

Antifas are, for the most part, professionals. Pay is not bad and you get free airplane tickets to Davos and Tokyo. Not a bad prospect if you’re an unemployed 25 year old stoner.
I’m surprised no journalist is interested in investigating the antifa movement. It’s a billion dollar scam, worldwide.
Why Tokyo? Does Antifa purchase their guns and drugs from the Yakuza?
How so?
I can’t speak for biz, but part of it has to be the DRASTIC shortening of attention spans and the endorphin-reward-cycle associated with (fake) social stimulus; in addition to the encouragement of virtue/status signalling etc.
Exactly!

Bill Kristol & JPod = regression to the mean at its finest.
How so?
- They lead to insanely shortened attention spans and insanely truncated ability to focus on one person or conversation at all.
- They encourage people to focus (even more than they already were) on the most shallow, outward appearance-oriented aspects of life that can be captured in photos and posted.
- They erase the distinction between true achievements and mundane events. Everything gets ‘liked’ equally by your friends, whether it is you just won a Nobel Prize or your cat did something funny
- They lead to political conformity and shallow virtue signalling, again in search of the instantaneous validation available at any time
- They make people extremely insecure and secretly resentful because they are fed a constant diet of carefully managed content from their freinds and acquaintances depicting only the most positive and photogenic aspects of those people’s lives. When it comes to women in particular, they are already prone to comparing themselves and their mate to others and seeing where they fall short socially and financially, but social media dials this up to 11
- Yet simultaneously with making women insecure and resentful about their present situation, they give women, even women in relationships, the impression that they have limitless romantic options because they are constantly being flirted with (even when at home in sweat pants!) and constantly see other men portrayed in a mangaged, compeltely flattering light.
Social media makes everyone a worse person, friend, partner, etc., but the last two reasons in particular are why it is a doubly awful influence to be in effect on your woman.
It will be old hat before you know it.
What is it with these anti-1A types and covering their necks? Compare the above image and Prof “I need some muscle” at Mizzou …
Will do.
In other words, about like any other transformative new technology.
It will be old hat before you know it.

Thanks for this excellent explanation of the way things really work in academia. I couldn’t agree more.
As someone who bailed from the tertiary-teaching track after a couple of years of graduate study, I can confirm that it’s a lot harder to make the break than it sounds to normal people. I feel sorry for many (although definitely not all) adjuncts and post-docs and other hangers-on to the ‘life of the mind’.
Unfortunately if you spend any time in academia you will find that those among your peers who are living that kind of life are not actually that common. I wouldn't say it's non-existent, but it's not common. The other point I would make is that you don't have to be an academic to have a thriving life of the mind. You just need to set your priorities, and keep faith with the idea that intellectual and spiritual growth is a lifetime challenge.
In fact, given the constraints on faculty members on what they can teach, what they can say, what they can publish, and how much they do have to teach, say, and publish in order to get tenure and a full professorship, I'd say one is more free outside the academy than within. In addition, the time demands on faculty, not just for the large block of time given over to teaching, but to various extra-curricular demands of a political and social nature, are almost as great as what you would experience in your typical outside world work life. So it's really up to individuals to live such a life that they can achieve their various life goals -- home, spouse, family -- as well as their intellectual and spiritual ambitions.
It will be old hat before you know it.
I disagree. Television certainly did lead to a beginningo of many of the negative changes which were later accelerated by social media, but the instant validation aspect is new to social media and makes it much worse.
Lolzozozoz you cannot be serious

I think I would prefer to say that I have sympathy for anyone who tries to live a life of the mind, not because of the material drawbacks (which are frequent but not necessary) but hecause it’s a generally lonely and misunderstood life. And yet, like a religious one, I think, the only kind worth having.

In addition, the time demands on faculty, not just for the large block of time given over to teaching, but to various extra-curricular demands of a political and social nature, are almost as great as what you would experience in your typical outside world work life. So it’s really up to individuals to live such a life that they can achieve their various life goals — home, spouse, family — as well as their intellectual and spiritual ambitions.
Thanks
Unfortunately if you spend any time in academia you will find that those among your peers who are living that kind of life are not actually that common. I wouldn't say it's non-existent, but it's not common. The other point I would make is that you don't have to be an academic to have a thriving life of the mind. You just need to set your priorities, and keep faith with the idea that intellectual and spiritual growth is a lifetime challenge.

The sadness is more about the fate of these once great institutions, and what that fate says about our shared country than any sense of personal loss necessarily. As you note, the life of the mind is as available as always.
Without the concept of disinterested academies — and not just in the West — the Ancient world would not have survived, nor even much that has been created, discovered or archived in the past 2,000 years. Even the monasteries respected the pagan past more the universities do today. Very sad, perhaps even ominous.
I'm surprised no journalist is interested in investigating the antifa movement. It's a billion dollar scam, worldwide.
“Antifas are, for the most part, professionals. Pay is not bad and you get free airplane tickets to Davos and Tokyo.”
Why Tokyo? Does Antifa purchase their guns and drugs from the Yakuza?
"It’s always amusing when Nick Diaz pretends to be smart. It’s kind of like putting a pair of glasses on a beagle."
Fuck you, retard. I find it hilarious that a white trash idiot like you think that he's smarter than me. Ha ha ha ha.. Listen here, kid. You are not smart. Even if I became brain damaged, I'd still be smarter than you.
None of which applies to non-citizens applying for entry to America. No foreigner has a constitutional right to come here. Cite the sections of the Constitution, by number, that are being violated, Mr. Constitutional scholar.
And which treaty “previosuly ractified” by Congress is being violated here? Name it.
There is nothing illegal or unconstitutional about the executive order in question. The only problem with it is that it does not go far enough.
I find it hilarious that a white trash idiot like you think that he’s smarter than me.
I am hardly what one would call “white trash”.

Yes, that’s why I wondered if a ham sandwich could shut this plus-sized screecher up. Permanently.
I blame Boomer and Generation X'ers parents, the worst parents in the history of mankind.
There was a time when parents would have felt ashamed if you showed them that their kid ended up like this:

They might even disown the kid.
Now, parents either tolerate it or encourage it.
Are they afraid of their own kids? Is the power of pop culture and PC so strong that parents dare not say NO? Is our culture under the delusion the next generation is always ‘more progressive’ in times-they-are-a-changing way? Are grown-ups still stuck in youth-mentality and relive their ‘rebellion’ through their kids? But how can kids rebel when teachers and parents indulge the immaturity and self-indulgence of youth?
There was a time when people had fun being goofy but didn’t mistake goofery with seriousness.
And sexual matters were kept where it belongs with a bit of hanky panky.
It doesn’t seem to register to these freaks that something so primal like sexuality is a dead end as discourse. Once the veil if lifted and all goes ‘boing’, there isn’t much else to say.
Brando finds out in LAST TANGO IN PARIS.
These freaks still think they are being ‘subversive’ with sexual stuff. Ironically, they are SO SHOCKED that trump said something about pussy. They should welcome him as a honorary subversive.
Btw, if these freaks don’t want their pooters grabbed, why are they always putting theirs on display?
Julius Evola is twisted, but he is not entirely useless. One of the true things he points out is that, if we lived in a healthy society, when a woman entered into a marriage by her vows and then cuckolded her husband, it would be she and not he who would be disgraced. The fact that it is the man disgraced is a sign we do not see marriage as a spiritual institution.
Why Tokyo? Does Antifa purchase their guns and drugs from the Yakuza?
I meant Kyoto, as in the Kyoto summit. They send them wherever there’s an international summit convening the top ten richest countries, or where they discuss climate change and so forth.
That cracked me up, Anon87! That’s not a crack on Lynryd Skynyrd, I hope. People yell out a lot of other stuff at concerts, like “Stairway to Heaven!”, for example*. Face it, we all have.
Anyway, that was a great comment all around.
* Oh, and of course “Hey Bono, shut up and sing!”.
I agree with you SPMoore, but I’d like to add something. A commenter above used the phrase “a mile wide and an inch deep” for the politics of “people”, but I’d make that women and young men only. In judging a woman’s compatibility with you for marriage, I think it’d be better to find one that doesn’t care about politics much.
Now, plenty of women may SAY they care about this issue or another, but they often join groups to socialize and say things to fit in. You just need to find out if a woman takes this stuff too seriously, as she shouldn’t as a woman (maybe she is not really a woman at all – you know how it is these days ;-} If you find one that is seriously into anything besides your basic conservatism, then “Houston, we’ve got a problem – pulling the abort handle now!”.
Yes, in case you’re wondering, I don’t believe women should be voting. (Go ahead you haters, you can hate on me and Ann Coulter together – in your fantasies!)
My wife asked me if I could go and vote for her while I was over there at the polling place. It didn’t work out.
I, personally, strongly recommend going all the way … wait, oh Piled Higher and Deeper degree, OK, nevermind.
I am interested in all the stories re employment in academia. Thanks for yours, and also thanks for you comments yesterday!

But it was alright, everything was alright, the struggle was finished. He had won the victory over himself. He loved Big Brother.
Shouldn’t someone ask Milo before we go ahead and do this thing? (Nah, he’ll be alright.)

Sorry to get so pissed about it. I’m glad it was inadvertent. I do have to keep a pen on hand whenever I read history books from the library, though. It kinda slows things down, but I gotta do my part.

“None of which applies to non-citizens applying for entry to America. No foreigner has a constitutional right to come here. ”
Tsc, tsc…so stupid. America has diplomatic representation in all of the countries listed except for Iran. It is an accepted custom that you do not ban from entering the country people from countries you have formal diplomatic representation. Go back to school, retard.
“Cite the sections of the Constitution, by number, that are being violated, Mr. Constitutional scholar.”
It violates the Constitution because Trump acted in excess of his powers. The President has the powers to “safe guard the security of the United States”. But that is vague, and the travel ban inflicted upon the entire population of several countries at once is something that no President has done before. This is something highly technical, and only a constitutional scholar can answer the precise reason why the Executive Order violates previous treaties by Congress, the way the Constitution says how foreign nationals must be treated and the limitations of the presidential power. Why don’t you ask Judge Robart? He is a constitutional scholar, and a Republican one at that, and according to him the Executive Order is unconstitutional.

Your voice is so faint, like it’s coming from the other side of a big, beautiful wall.
Other than in very small doses, those things are truly poisonous to human behavior across the board.
indeed+!!!!!

Neither do you.

Okay, so you don’t know which sections of the Consitution Trump ostensibly violated. He didn’t violate any, and you have almost certainly never read the Constitution, nor indeed have you likely read anything that didn’t have dialog bubbles filled with words like “POW!”.
