From The Telegraph:

Dutch man, 69, who ‘identifies as 20 years younger’ launches legal battle to change age

Emile Ratelband claims that he identifies as 49 years old

By Our Foreign Staff
7 NOVEMBER 2018 • 7:59PM

A pensioner has begun a legal battle to be recognised as being 20 years younger than his actual age so he can go back to work and achieve greater success with women on Tinder.

Emile Ratelband, 69, argues that if transgender people are allowed to change sex, he should be allowed to change his date of birth because doctors said he has the body of a 45-year-old.

The entrepreneur and self-help guru is suing his local authority after they refused the amend his age on official documents. …

“When I’m on Tinder and it say I’m 69, I don’t get an answer. When I’m 49, with the face I have, I will be in a luxurious position.” …

“Transgenders can now have their gender changed on their birth certificate, and in the same spirit there should be room for an age change.” …

And he says his move would also be good news for the government as he would be renouncing his pension until he reaches retirement age again.

The judge said that he had some sympathy with Mr Ratelband as people could now change their gender which would once have been unthinkable.

But the court said there would be practical problems in allowing people to change their birth date, as it would mean legally deleting part of their lives.

The judge asked Mr Ratelband about the status of his early years, from 1949 to 1969, if his official birth date was put back.

“For whom did your parents care in those years? Who was that little boy back then?,” the judge asked.

Of course, if Emile was changing his gender to Emily, the judge would get in big trouble for asking that same question: “Who was that little boy back then?”

I would love to have heard Mr Ratelband explain to the judge that he is specifically not rewinding those years of his childhood, which he will keep, but instead that he is simply rewinding the past 20 years of his life.

In which case the judge could ask if he is going to refund all the money he collected from the government for the past 20 years(if any). Mr Ratelband could counter-offer with allowing the judge to garnish the next 20 years of wages.

I do like Mr Ratelband’s optimism that he will be around in another 20 years to retire a second time.

If it were me though I would just lie about my age on Tinder and save the court hassle.

Surely we can come up with some sort of audit log if this is the primary concern. Please let this happen so we get to the point where children are able to identify as older in order to vote (or worse), or that useless adults can transage themselves into retirement to soak up Social Security payments.

In the late 90′s/early 2000′s in Aspen (I was working, not playing) there were T-shirts that said ’70 is the new 40′! Aspen had finally allowed snowboarding in 1998 after young people had eschewed Aspen for a decade or more – every other mountain was better. Silver-haired men & their dumb-ass trophy wives, and mostly, bad skiers from LA & NYC, had killed the vibe and buzz of Aspen. Aspen was a joke.

The locals were jubilant when snowboarding was allowed (because business); however, Aspen (not Highlands, Buttermilk) is still lousy for riding…but the vibe got much better….and they allowed cheaper hotels in and brew pubs and such.

you obviously don’t ride or ski! Physics: Aspen Mountain was bad for snowboarders because to get down to the base, everyone is forced into a very long, very vertical, tight funnel where making turns is really for experts (honest ones) whether on skis or boards….in order to reduce speed….which is a necessity if you want to live.

There is the other descent (right side, looking at mountain) to the base area, but it also requires a rider to make turns (impossible when there is exposed ridge rock & bad skiers around you) in an area that also, naturally becomes very moguly – sucks for snowboards. It is easy to smash your body against the walls here…or take out people who stop midway (because they are freaked-out).

Wider skis do not make mediocre or poor skiers any better. And, only expert snowboarders can ride Aspen…but Aspen still sucks for snowboarders. Buttermilk (next door) is much better; Highlands and Snowmass are sublime. Other resorts and states are even better. I was talking more about the town.

So forcing young women in low-paying salons to come into close contact with gross body parts now constitutes “human rights” north of the 49th, and south of the Ambassador Bridge. Kevin Michael Grace was right when he said that Canada’s constitution is a suicide pact.

Something similar happened in Boston, when a queer who was hit by his rough trade boyfriend complained to another “human rights tribunal” and managed to raid the Rose Fund, set up to aid battered women. Can’t imagine a straight man being so rude or petty.

OT: Is the Elite Panicking? More white guys (and a Becky) go down in Florida under the radar.

I see Steve has retweeted a link to an article from TAC: “The Coming Battle for European Civilization: The immigration crisis has pitted Europeans against their elites, and the stakes couldn’t be higher.”

I wonder if last night’s election didn’t spook some of the elite for something like this to be published over there. In Florida and Georgia, two racialist black candidates nearly won based on tacit appeals to tribal affinity. The candidate in Georgia is an open racialist who threatened to destroy Stone Mountain and seize guns by force and yet still had Oprah Winfrey campaign for her in a way that can only be explained by pure tribal affinity; she also was pictured burning the Georgia state flag back in the 90s. Didn’t phase her voters. Neither did pictures of the Black Panthers campaigning for her.

And the guy in Florida, Andrew Gillum, was just awful – hard left and under FBI investigation for corruption, ugh. Is democracy supposed to work like that? On top of that, the elite may have just awakened to the fact that the democrat leadership is stale and pale…and old. Soon they will be replaced by the Andrew Gillums of the world just as the 1970s Soviet leadership gave way to Gorbachev.

Take a look at what happened in the Florida democrat primary. Here’s an example of the tone-deaf pre-election night 2018 coverage of Gillum from the Tallahassee Democrat:

“Not just because of the attention that will be focused on our dear city. And not just because Gillum will have a shot at being Florida’s first African-American governor. But because the way he did it will be studied and dissected for years to come.”

They note that he was able to run a hard left campaign and was outspent massively by his opponents but they don’t exactly produce a solid analysis for his victory. The way they dissected his win: it was all about “relentless optimism.” Talk about narrative-building propaganda. In reality, it was because Gillum is black and his rivals were all white. It was about race and turnout; almost all blacks voted for him and his white opponents split the non-black vote and lost. Even money and ideology didn’t matter in this race. You’d think that running a hard left campaign in a moderate state might cost the candidate rather then explain his victory, and you would expect a newspaper to be puzzled at this seeming paradox in their reporting. But in reality it was actually his race that mattered; voters ignored policy.

From the article: “But Philip Levine and Jeff Greene dumped millions into this effort and have less than a third of the vote combined to show for it. That means voters really did dive into the issues and the people behind them, not just succumbing to whoever had the most TV ads.”

Lol, no. Levine and Greene are both white guys (Jewish, too?). That’s the reason for the difference. Florida’s democratic party is heavily black and they bloc-voted for Gillum. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if Gillum’s vote share wasn’t close to the total black vote share in the Florida Democratic Party (Florida blacks are 82% democrat and about 16% of the total population, so 16 X ~2 = about his total vote share in the primary). His politics didn’t matter except as virtue signalling for a few college-aged white kids whom he was able to attract for photo ops, but that doesn’t explain the large difference between him and his two white guy opponents (the Becky came really close, though).

Their analysis of race in the campaign:

“The role of race in the campaign: Let’s be frank – Gillum got a pass from his opponents on his record in this campaign and every single political pundit will tell you why: For a long time, Gillum wasn’t seen as a serious threat to win the nomination. The other campaigns weighed the benefits of going after Gillum against the risks of alienating African American voters. That’s simply not going to happen in the general election where Republicans have all but written off the African American vote for years. Which bring us to …”

So, basically the others guys didn’t attack him because he’s black. Is that how democracy is supposed to work? Further, they fail to note the racism inherent in their premise before quickly transitioning to the conclusion that the republicans are the real racists here. “So, two white guys and a Becky walk into a bar – [rimshot].”

Photos of the candidates he beat:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gwen_Graham

    https://www.politico.com/states/florida/story/2018/06/04/billionaire-jeff-greene-files-to-run-for-florida-governor-448352

I wonder if the elite are in panic mode under the radar. Levine was an accomplished white guy politician and Jeff Greene is a billionaire upperclassman. But the black guy under federal investigation on corruption charges beat them all, including the clean-cut white lady. BTW, they get to mentioning the FBI investigation against him in the concluding paragraph.

We’ve got computers now, though. They can keep track of all of this stuff. In fact, that brings up an idea for an app. When you meet someone, your phone will hit up the cloud for the current “real” information on whomever it is, and display transformed pictures and transform his/her voice to match. You don’t need to look at people’s faces anymore, as this app will show you the real new individual – talk to the phone.

Facebook should indeed become less static, and update all your “friend’s” profiles on the fly, as they change their, uhhh, characteristics. Get with the times, Zuckerberg, and quit resting on your skinny ass laurels!

    talk to the phone.

I could see that, people will be more comfortable talking to their phones, even when standing 3 feet apart.

Charo legitimately and legally changed her age. Thought it was legal already. If people change their gender, age really isn’t that much of a thing.

Isn’t Sonny Liston unique as a modern day famous person whose exact lifespan is unknown. If memory serves, he didn’t know when he was born and he died during his wife’s trip away from their home.

  73. Actually, Mr Steve, Transageism was anticipated by the admirable Rob Slane( or should that be Sane ).

    https://www.theblogmire.com/author/theblogmirecom/

The October 23 entry tells the story of a transageist 27-year old winning the World under-10s cross country.

  74. @Steve Sailer

Yeah, it’s not good for the eyesight, and if it’s just talking, not viewing, now everyone is walking around talking into the edge of the phone where the mike is. It makes me hungry, cause they look like they are all about to eat Hershey Bars.

“You are only as old as you decide to be … kind of like choosing your gender.”

Sounds like a great idea to me … on the way to a complete social breakdown as we close on our final reductio ad absurdum.

If society can suspend beliefs in reality over the humanity of an unborn child, gender (and genitals), and the existence and impact of race, religion, and culture, why not age? In fact, given the other more egregious suspensions of belief that have become quite normal to us, this should be a giveaway. Why not give Emile a break and let this be among the last post-modern absurdities with which we have to deal.

Ratelband has my vote. He’s only trying to redress another social injustice in pressing need of resolution: young women will not go out with him until he can officially prove he’s younger. I’m sure Chelsea Manning would approve.

  76. @MikeatMikedotMike

I’ve always wanted to be 6’2″, and male, and really athletic, and rich, and good-looking, and have a 150 IQ. I wonder if I could just start identifying this way.

My friend has cerebral palsy and type 1 diabetes. She should just start identifying as perfectly healthy and screw all this doctor stuff.

  77. L Woods says:

Yes. It’s clear that a great many women do this, unsurprisingly. I’m seriously contemplating doing it myself after I hit the next decade.

They’ll still leave room for heterosexual age shaming though, of course. When the male is older, that is, because blah blah something something “power difference.” Women always find a rationalization to throttle the pussy supply. Just like the present “sex trafficking” moral panic: everyone who gives it up more cheaply than the hysterical gaggle of 3.5/10 “non-profit professionals” “working” on this “issue” is “trafficked” and “exploited.” Imagine that.

South Park already did that – although not with voices.

It was the final episode of season 17, entitled “The Hobbit“. It was pretty clever.

Scarlet, my Mom in in her 102 nd year. I don’t think she’s had a date since my Dad died in a car accident 50 years ago. I think I’ll tell her to drop her age to let’s say 82 on her Tinder account. She actually doesn’t look a day over 90.

In which case the judge could ask if he is going to refund all the money he collected from the government for the past 20 years(if any). Mr Ratelband could counter-offer with allowing the judge to garnish the next 20 years of wages.

The Dutch government should be happy to add Mr. Ratelband back to the taxpayer rolls.

Many years ago, a highly reputed Jewish psychiatrist I knew, who happened to be about 5’2″ tall and with a swarthy complection, said “If a genie would grant me one wish and one wish only, I’d ask to be a Christian, 6′ tall, blond, blue eyed and…. an internist. Just for a day, to know what it feels like.”
Jews say the “Goyim” have “menorah envy” but you hardly ever hear Jews expressing a mirror image sentiment, so it surprised me. I thought he probably added the part about wishing to be an internist for a day for comic effect, to tone down the statement. The “Goyim” who heard him were embarrassed and gratefully seized upon the “internist” part to crack the usual jokes based on medical specialty stereotypes.

Unusual, but not unique. Many blacks never got correct and accurate birth certificates until birth in White run hospitals became the norm. Passport and social security personnel will occasionally tell interesting stories about 80+ year old applicants even today, especially in the South.

One of the reasons the United States has never cleaned up the huge identity mess caused by not having birth and death certificates correlated against the 50 states-meaning “paper tripping” is still somewhat possible for whites and fairly easy for Blacks over 50 if they had the IQ to pull it off-is because all concerned know what it would reveal about the total inability of blacks to follow basic procedures, as a group.

Another, I’m guessing, is that the pols leave it as a loophole on purpose if they themselves ever have to vanish: or perhaps it makes the Witness Protection Program’s job a lot easier. It would be interesting to find out from a sample of protectees where their new identity’s birth certificate is from. Possibly the feds have simply emulated the bikers and penetrated the vital records offices of one or two states and have someone cranking them out clandestinely? That would probably be safer for the protectees because these state offices are probably full of people who would dime out any new entries to the mob for enough money, or dope.

  98. Holland calling..

Sad publicity stunt from a guy who was only taken seriously in the Netherlands as a certified nutcase/circus act. The man made a career out of playing an NLP “guru” (i.e. nutcase) and when people got tired of his village idiot behaviour, he turned his life into one big “reality” show, to remind the people in Holland of his unfortunate presence on this planet.

This sad individual has been purposely kept in the “news” by the MSM gutter media over here, so the powers that shouldn’t be must still consider this obnoxious act of some value. What really astonishes me is that for some reason, he’s now received an international media launch all of a sudden. What on earth is going on that this professional faker is pushed on a scale that even supersedes his overinflated ego?

I’d file this under ((media)) attempts to further demoralize people in Western society still desperately holding on to some common sense. The media (MSM and “alt” alike) pushing this project are culpable and compromised. Cheers from Dutchieland.
