Who is this blue checkmark Tariq Nasheed anyway?

Is he a phony account being paid to generate content for Tucker Carlson et al? Will I be getting a bill for my share of his services? I could see chipping in $5 a month, but he’s a little lowbrow of a target for my tastes. With The New Yorker, The Atlantic, and Vox all working overtime to produce prime iSteve content, I really don’t need to expand my range to dimmer bulb Establishmentarians.

Update: iSteve commenter Black Girl Magic explains in the comments that Nasheed is a wealthy entrepreneur who has worked very hard for decades to develop his personal brand in his books on The Art of Mackin’ as the leading expert on how to pursue a career in pimping. Lately he has gotten into making Afrocentrist documentaries called Hidden Colors about how ancient blacks were everywhere and did everything.

I apologize for calling him an Establishmentarian. He sounds like a creative businessman, reminiscent of Alex Jones, but likely even more self-made.

Catholic Church Is Now Issuing Undocumented Immigrants ID Cards (HBO)

The topic of immigration came up early in the conversation and Hesburgh told of a plan that he and “good friend” former Sen. Alan Simpson, a conservative Republican from Wyoming, and liberal Democratic Sen. Ted Kennedy of Massachusetts put together to solve the immigration problem. They wanted to institute a European-style ID card that would be given to all, including undocumented immigrants, which Hesburgh thought would eliminate the need for all “the cops and robbers” at the border. If people had the ID, they could work; if not, they would be unable to obtain work and would eventually return home.

It depends what your preferred ratio of work to entertainment is. The hardest work is addressing carefully the strongest arguments of your adversaries, made by their best minds.

It is hard sometimes, because “It is a good idea to open Europe and North America to mass migration from the most dysfunctional parts of the global south” is so self-evidently a bad idea, and for so many reasons.

Who argues for open borders best? On one hand, the cultural marxists actually have the mass following. The billionaires/libertarians, however, make the best arguments. Not good arguments, but at least, sometimes, actual arguments in good faith. The cultmarx argument is increasingly just resentment based and nothing more.

Who is this blue checkmark Tariq Nasheed anyway?

Why he’s one of our fellow citizens — someone for whom we should all want the best (and only the best).

Citizenism is patriotism understood not as shouting that America is the best but as wanting the best for Americans.

Nor does citizenism suffer the fatal paradox dooming the white nationalism advocated by Jared Taylor and others who encourage whites to get down and mud-wrestle with the Al Sharptons of the world for control of the racial spoils system. Unfortunately for Taylor’s movement, white Americans don’t want, as he recommends, to act like the rest of the world; they want to act like white Americans. They believe on the whole in individualism rather than tribalism, national patriotism rather than ethnic loyalty, meritocracy rather than nepotism, nuclear families rather than extended clans, law and fair play rather than privilege, corporations of strangers rather than mafias of relatives, and true love rather than the arranged marriages necessary to keep ethnic categories clear-cut.

Today it seems pretty clear that “white Americans” are expected to “act” in only one way: abjectly surrender.

If ‘Diversity is Strength’ was a product, it would have been subject to a massive recall by now — the same goes for “citizenism”.

  42. Ed says:

Tariq has actually made a nice living for himself producing a series of documentaries that purports to tell African-Americans that their great history has been stolen and hidden.

“My primary focus is to address the needs of African-Americans first,” Nasheed said. “We’re neglected and a lot of times our needs are watered down by trying to be so inclusive with everyone else when everyone else is not being inclusive with us.”

While Hidden Colors 3 is Nasheed’s latest historic narration for the masses, he has a passion for creating films for “people who don’t necessarily know about John Henry Clark, Cornel West or Chancellor Williams.” The first two installments of Hidden Colors focused on aboriginal Blacks and the international perception of Black or dark skin.

To date, the Hidden Colors series is one of the most successful Black independent documentaries. And Nasheed doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon. “We’re going to keep it going as long as people are learning the information and requesting the information and waking up to the information,” he said.

  43. Twinkie says:

I’m confused, are these the same Hispanics that Karl Rove and other RINO’s said had hard-core conservative values and would eventually vote for the GOP?

It’s not important that Hispanics vote for the GOP. What’s important is that the Hispanics gentrify away blacks from hip city centers so that Jews and other urban liberal whites can live happily in them all the while decrying the racism and white supremacism of small town whites.

Tariq Nasheed is very intelligent and a master manipulator. For over 20 years, Nasheed has made millions by selling products to low-IQ black men. Rupert Murdoch’s former estate is just a few hunderd feet from Nasheed’s more modest home.

Nasheed was born in Detroit and grew up in Leeds, Alabama, going to school with Charles Barkley’s younger brother. After dealing with the low-IQ blacks in Leeds, Nasheed dropped out of high school and moved to Los Angeles searching for something better. He was homeless at first and lived in a shelter where he was surrounded mentally ill men.

Nasheed is an entreprenuer and I don’t think he has ever worked for an employer. I know he has received money from sugar mamas and was a rapper and released an album. He wrote a series of books on The Art of Mackin’, which teaches black men how to pick up women. The books sold well and Nasheed spent many years traveling the country, teaching men how to mack. Nasheed would either rent a small theater himself or receive and appearance fee to speak on college campuses. He also sold related products such as cologne through his website.

Because of his lethario content, Tariq Nasheed used to have little presence on YouTube or mainstream social media platforms. He preferred his own website and he streamed weekly on Ustream. He tried to discuss serious topics with his listeners like business and networking, but the listners would get bored and not pay attention. Only when Nasheed talked about picking up women and “hotep” black history did he get the viewers’ undivided attention. Nasheed seized upon this and released the first of four immensely successful black history documentaries called Hidden Colors. He also released an unsuccessful horror money called The Eugenist. His latest video was a documentary on the Haitian Revolution.

In order to be more in alignment with his successful historical videos, Nasheed turned himself into a black activist. Because he has been involved in the entertainment industry for decades, Nasheed never speaks ill of homosexuals or Jews. He has no problems with whites. The mother of three of his four children is biracial with a white mother. For years, when people asked the race of his girlfriend Nasheed would say that he did not know.

Nasheed is not religious, but he knows that black people are so he says that he is spiritual and that makes his followers happy. Most of his followers don’t like white people so Nasheed appeases them by going after “white supremacist”. Nasheed is smart and knows that the term “white supremacist” won’t get him banned from mainstream social media for hate speech. (OT — Pastor Manning was banned from YouTube a few weeks ago.)

In this video Tariq Nasheed explains “Hispanic white supremacist” to Jared Taylor. Taylor pretends to not know that most Hispanics are white and identify as white racially and when the conversation moves to James Watson, Tariq pretends not to understand Taylor’s questions about black IQ. Both men are “debating” each other to please their fan bases and pretend to be unknowledgable on a point or two so that there is no clear winner in the “debate”.

This clip from Nasheed’s Hidden Colors documentary is proof that he knows who Alfred Binet is.

  45. Will he identify himself as “Tariq Nasheed the Black White supremacist” if he gets caught dinduin nuffin?

Thank you very much for this information. He seems like an interesting self-made man.

So, unless he starts to get more mainstream approval like, say, TNC does, I won’t respond to him much, since he’s not at all representative of the Establishment zeitgeist.

I may occasionally marvel at him the way I like to check in on what Ramzan Kadyrov is up to. Kadyrov is representative of what Chechens think is cool, which is … interesting; and Nasheed is informative about what his own audience likes. But he’s not exactly The Megaphone, which is my main interest.

  54. notanon says:

he’s not dumb – he’s making a buck playing to a specific audience

  55. Rocks Off says:

The concept of a Hispanic white supremacist is very useful to ethno-nationalists like myself and this idea should certainly be amplified and spread are and wide. It obviously drives a wedge right through the coalition of the fringes, turning black against Latino. From the ethno-nationalist point of view, while blacks are here to stay, the unrelenting flow of Latinxs into the US could be slowed down and so it makes sense to encourage blacks to believe that all the Hispanics coming into the US hate them and are actually white supremacists. And the added benefit is that this idea is not at all far from the truth.

The term Hispanic is of course independent of race. Pure Nordic blondes can move to Latin America and a generation later their lilly-white offspring are Hispanics. Of course most often Hispanic just means Mestizo which means a mix of white and Indio, but let’s conveniently forget about that for the time being.

From the ethno-nationalist point of view not only is it bad for the white tribe to have their identity and population percentages reduced by Hispanic immigration; worse still is that Hispanics often colonize black space in the inner cities and boot blacks out to the formerly all white exurbs. And so ethnocentric whites have a huge incentive to work with blacks (who are always ethnocentric) to lower Hispanic numbers.

And so calling Hispanics “white supremacists” is actually a good thing. It turns blacks against immigration. It also helps point out that fact that Hispanics generally have no “white guilt” and so blacks will not be able to emotionally blackmail them for gibmedats if Hispanics ever become the majority. I personally always try to link to the LA Times article from a few years ago describing how racist Latinxs are ethnically cleansing Compton of blacks.

Now sure a better term would be “Hispanic supremacists” but the juxtaposition of “Hispanic” and “supremacist” just doesn’t have the same resonance as “white” and “supremacist” does. So let’s encourage blacks everywhere to examine the growing Hispanic white supremacist menace and to help them come up with potential solutions to this growing problem.

Maxim Smith, the bigot that assaulted a black man in DC with a metal U-lock has been released from jail and is on house arrest pending trial. Maxim claims some PR heritage. We don’t care. Maxim is a racist and should prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

PR meaning Puerto Rican? The photo shows a hipster worthy of Brooklyn. Bicycle lock assailant? Nice echo of Eric Clanton, appropriated into the white* supremacist realm. (*albeit Puerto Rican octoroon)

This S. Lee Merritt, Esq. account might also be worth following, and worth a monthly fiver. Black lawyers are always hilarious. They get in law school on holistic and start out dumber than normal lawyers, but because law is a field where you have to work hard and smart law degree holders, especially black, have other job options, the smarter blacks peel off into other jobs pretty early in their careers, leaving only the real idiots still practicing law.

And wait, Merritt has something to “say to the community” here:

    He addresses things like:

If you google “Attorney Lee Merritt” the search engine will generate headlines like “Civil Rights Lawyer Accused of Practicing without a License” and “Black Activist Perpetrating a Lawyer- sources say”. On the other hand, you will not find a single story relaying that these extreme accusations were ultimately adjudicated in my favor.

    Poor guy.

As a result, my practice has suffered almost to the point of discontinuance. Clients have terminated representation in favor of less controversial attorneys. Loans, necessary to fund protracted litigation, have been denied citing the allegations. Massive amounts of debt have accrued in legal fees for counsel hired to defend against these claims.

And passive voice has been copiously availed of. But all is not lost. The lawyer has a lawyer, and he is white.

In my fight there is an unsung hero I would like to introduce you all to — his name is Prater Monning and he is my lawyer. I was referred to Prater by a colleague who gave me his personal cell instead of his office line. As a result, the first time I spoke to him was extremely brief. As he explained, in one of the thickest southern accents I have ever heard, he could not speak long because he was busy “impregnating his mares!”

Presumably loans were obtained, wherewithal was transfered to Mr. Monning, and legal defenses emanated. At this point dinner calls so I must stop reading.

PR is the only place where I’ve been called racial slurs. And remember that Yuri Guriel gesture in the World Series? Plenty of Ricans did that to me, but I’ve never ever had a white person do it. Then again, maybe it’s different elsewhere in Latin America. Peru did elect an Asian president after all.

Is there an easier hustle these days than decrying ‘whiteness’? The language, the dogma, etc. are all out in the open, one just has to be able to apply it to the most innocuous examples to be considered and important voice on the subject. TNC is well known because he will always use half a dozen words when one will do and sticks to his catchphrases, but lesser talents can still find employment if they know the right ideas to regurgitate.

Nearly every company of decent size and all schools have someone whose title includes “diversity and inclusion” whose qualifications seem to be the ability to mouth the woke catechism. My kids went to a school where there was a director of diversity who, as far as I can tell, would simply post flyers about some super-woke workshop happening in some part of the city interested people could attend and would arrange an annual “courageous conversations” workshop that were mandatory for the staff to attend. This at a school whose parking lot was indistinguishable from a Range Rover dealership, and where minority parents usually were lawyers, doctors, scientists or the occasional pro athlete (who in my experience were smart enough to be in any of the fields I mentioned previously had they not possessed elite athletic talent).

Jones is “hoping and praying that he’ll be able to continue at some point with his life,” his attorney said. Massena said the encounter between Jones and Szabo was “a tragic accident and we will deal with it in the courts.”

Jones was arraigned in Queens Criminal Court Thursday evening, and he has been charged with third-degree assault, a misdemeanor in New York, according to Massena. Jones did not enter a plea, and he was released on his own recognizance. He was ordered to return to court on October 2.

That doesn’t mean that every business got the workers it needed, however. Russell Landscape Group in Atlanta petitioned for 25 H-2B workers for the FY 2018 spring/summer season and was rejected due to high demand, Teddy Russell, president and owner of the business, told Bloomberg Law Aug. 8.

The landscaping company decided to hire 35 workers without the necessary skills to train and employ after losing out on H-2B workers, but only two of those hires were left after six weeks, Russell said. “There’s not enough labor out there,” Russell said. “We desperately need a seasonal workforce that’s willing and able and trained.”

Tariq is more influential among blacks than TNC is

FAR more influential. TaNeezy isn’t even on WorldStar..

  94. Jack D says:

The woke view will prevail because that is the only view that allows the Coalition of the Fringes to coalesce and gain power.

The Tariq POV will remain the province of marginal figures like Tariq because blacks with any sense know that there are not enough of them in the US to rule by themselves except in isolated places like Detroit. If the US was 51% black instead of 15%, then there would be a lot more Tariqs, but it isn’t.

Wokism leads (at least they hope it does) to blacks being in the vanguard of the ruling party. They are the senior members of the Coalition of the Fringes (and in their view naturally entitled to all leadership positions). From the POV of sane black politicians (this would exclude Tariq) you want the boat (on which you are the pre-designated captain) to be as big as possible and Tariqism is the path to nowhere unless you want to peak out on the city council of Detroit.

  95. @Harry Baldwin

You mean sorta, not exactly, but kinda like this fellow reportedly did in New Mexico? He’s not a Gomez, though.

Prosecutor: Man at Compound Trained Kids for School Shooting

  96. Jack D says:
    @Rocks Off

The problem is that in a democratic system the math doesn’t work and blacks know it. With less than 15% of the population, blacks are not in a position to vote themselves gibmedats from the white population (and the non-voting method, e.g. riots, is only effective in the short term – after that, you still need your weaves but you can’t get them because you’ve burned the wig shop down).

Now, we know that there is no love lost between blacks and Hispanics but take a situation where the population consists of say 15% blacks, 15% Hispanics and 70% whites, of whom say 30% can be counted on to be “allies” (whites who benefit from the gibmedat system, either financially as social workers, etc. or psychologically because it enables them to virtue signal, etc.). IF the blacks and the allies can get the Hispanics to vote for the gibmedat system (and this is not hard because one of the ways you do that is you say that Hispanics are also eligible for gibmedats and who doesn’t like free stuff?) then they have 55% and can do whatever they want. But if blacks drive Hispanics to the “white” team then they no longer have the pieces needed to put together a majority and end up with less.

Now the average Tariq in the street who is being driven out of his neighborhood and job by Hispanics may not appreciate this math – all he sees is the “white Hispanic” who is doing the driving. But black politicians sure as hell appreciate it and will be careful to send the right message. By the time the media was done with him, George Zimmerman (the name sure helped) was a white man period – his Hispanic (in fact part black Pardo) side was a non-story.

  97. One of those cliches that never die is the one that refers to “the black and Latino community.”

  98. Jack D says:

Yes, anti-white hustler is an easy gig but Tariq is doing it wrong. Is there any way in hell that Tariq is going to get a job at that school with his anti-Hispanic big mouth? The Tariqs of this world can get jobs in majority black places like DC (there was some race hustler/city councilman in DC a few months ago who said that Jews were controlling the weather and causing unseasonable snowstorms) but his kind are not welcomed in whitopias nor in the higher reaches of the Democrat party and are considered almost as icky as white nationalists (not so icky that the snowstorm guy couldn’t keep his job).

Your anti-white hate has to be focused strictly on whites, preferably on cishet white men – they are the only suitable targets. To the extent that blacks can get these kind of gigs (and half the time the anti-white diversity coordinator is a woke white chick), it’s preferable if they are the kind of blacks who are used to mingling with white people and know not to blurt out anti-Semitic, anti-Hispanic or anti-gay conspiracy theory type stuff when the white people are around. You’ll notice that in all of her 11,000 tweets, in which anti-white rhetoric was abundant, Sarah never once said one thing against any other group.

Gomez is clearly a Mestizo, a mixture of Spanish and Amerindian, and thus he’s nonwhite, just as Obama is nonwhite, half-African and half-European, albeit he’s defined as “black” rather than white or even Mulatto. An Amerindian or Mestizo can be a “racist” in the sense of having an irrational hatred of blacks simply because of the “color of their skin” and other superficial characteristics, but he can’t be a “white supremacist.”

Likewise, George Zimmerman is not “white.” Though his father is German -horror of horrors, which alone makes him a “Nazi” like Donald Trump- his mother is a Zambo, half-black and half-Amerindian. But the white- hating media defined him as “white” in order to demonize him as a “racist” and to confirm and advance the meme or narrative of “systematic-institutional racism-white supremacy,” and the blatant lie that he shot and killed saint Trayvon not in self-defense, a demonstrable and irrefutable fact, but simply because he was an “African-American.”

If I had to guess I would say maybe 5/8 Indian, 1/4 Euro and 1/8 African. Although blacks also sometime do Columbine-style mass shootings (at least in proportion to their prevalence in the population although blacks are far overrepresented in other crimes) very often ghetto mass shooting will involve more wounded than dead because the black style is to spray gunfire wildly into a crowd while attempting to assassinate rival gang members. The target may be only 1 or 2 people but 3 or more innocent bystanders will be shot due to the lack of aiming skill or effort. Those type of mass shootings are distinct from the other type (where you are actually intending to kill as many random strangers as possible and typically kill yourself at the end) and should really be classified differently.
