These imposters of blacks and women in the news are toiling unnecessarily after what thy truly desire: status. A couple in my lily white family has multiple biological white children (still quite young) but now they are waitlisted to adopt an African- and I doubt its going to be a white orphan victimized by a brutal farm massacre. How do I know about their upcoming adoption? Multiple snail-mail newsletters and requests for subsidies on this endeavor, in pamphlet form with artsy photos included. Why? They live in an area where there are surely a surplus of American Indian kids and there is a slew of eligible black children available not too terribly far away from them. Of course, their particular town is very white.

Again, I ask why. I can only come up with “status” as the answer. But still, I wonder if on some level they see a “Kill The Boer” future just as I do, possibly on a subconscious level. They think this will protect them? Now they aren’t some easily whackable white devils, no, they are the proud matriarch and patriarch of a multi-racial family. They are the parents of some VIB’s (very important blacks.) Could this be the logic of their subconscious minds? If it is, I don’t think it is well-based in reality. Blacks do not like their children being “appropriated” by whites, and if they had any black friends, they’d know that. As for why choose Africa over Chicago, when the latter is cheaper and easier, I’d say maybe because they want to avoid a fate where Tamika and her latest boyfriend Jamal track them down, rob them, and take their kids back.

It’s not a rigorous definition since “partly inbred extended family” defines thousands of groups out there that aren’t among the handful of groups that are trying to be defined as races. To be rigorous it would have to be qualified e.g. “partly inbred extended family” that has been inbred for X years, or “partly inbred extended family” in X geographic area, etc.

The U.S. Census Bureau has typically drawn a distinction between race, which it describes as biological, and ethnicity, which it calls cultural. The Greek ancestry in the British Royal family must be very distant because all they seem to produce are gingers and blonds. You do not see any British royal family members who look like Andrea Tantaros and John Stamos.

Sorting through the complexity of race, ethnicity, and culture is mind bending. Is iSteve suggesting that Barack Obama (a.k.a. Barry Soetoro) and Rachel Dolezal underwent the same “White flight” to “Afro-American”? It would appear so. Barry was racially a mulatto who grew up in “White culture” and ethnicity amidst the racially and culturally White/Asian environment of Hawaii and Indonesia. If I understand the narrative, even the Afro-Americans in Chicago rejected Barry’s claim that he was Afro-American. Barry needed a radical makeover to jump start his political career. Hence, he discovered the Kenyan father he never knew, redefined his race as Black and his ethnicity as African American, authored a book that “reconned” the influence that Barack Obama (Sr) had had on his life, and married Michelle Robinson. In the process, he changed his name.

Barry was definitely a trail blazer for Rachel Dolezal in this new era of “transracial” re-identification as a personal choice. Hence, in the interest of fairness, the MSM should leave Rachel in peace. There was precedent. As a personal choice, there is also precedent to reverse directions as Barack Obama (Jr) appears to have started the transition back to his original “White” ethnicity and “White privilege” as he prepares to emulate Bill Clinton and his post-presidential career on Wall Street.

I remember when Jay Leno used to do his man on the street skits, there was one episode where Jay asks Americans what nationality is Sean Connery and most of them incorrectly guessed Irish. I guess Sean’s accent sounds Irish to most American ears. Most Americans don’t seem to care much about the Scottish, but Americans sure do love the Irish.

Honestly, if weird narcissists like Dolezal and Jenner want to “flee from white”, godspeed and farewell. I think it was a relative of mine who pointed out if you identify as Hispanic when they ask you when getting hired (then of course refuse to join any Hispanic pressure groups), it helps fill up their diversity quotas and frees them to hire more white people.

These Carribean nations were British colonies from the 1600s right up to as recently as the early 1960s.
The ‘planter aristocracy’ of these nations were mostly purely British – there were a few Jews among them right through this period and for the two centuries after slavery was abolished. Race can be scaled up and scaled down.For example, we can speak of the large, continental-scale races: Caucasoid/West Eurasian (Europe, North Africa, much of West Asia), Amerind (North and South America), Australoid (Australia and some adjacent territories), etc

On the other hand, it can also be scaled down: Northern Europeans, Southern Europeans, etc

The Germans did manage to carry out policies that bore some resemblance to these plans. They expelled half a million non-Jewish Poles from lands annexed to the Reich. If an ethnic Englishperson who can trace back all of his parental lines unbroken in the UK for many hundreds of years takes a test at 23andme, and goes to the ‘ancestry finder’ tool, and puts the settings to the ‘four grandparents, 5 centimorgans’ threshold, then almost invariably, he’ll find quite a few Polish ‘genetic relatives’, in fact Poland would probably be pretty high up on the list of nationalities.
Of course, these ‘relations’ if indeed they are ‘identity by descent’, the alternative which is ‘identity by state’, which implies a shared gene pool rather than direct ancestry, are exceedingly ancient, perhaps going back to the ‘dark ages’.

A couple of weeks ago there was a video of some guy confronting a fellow who looked to be in his ’50′s trying to pass himself off as a Marine Corps veteran at a high school graduation. The guy was wearing an incomplete dress blue uniform and had a half dozen medals on the uniform (actually, three versions of one medal) and was obviously either a phony or crazy or drunk or all three.

Speaking as a USMC veteran from the early ’70′s I thought it was kind of weird, but I am too old and life is too short for me to be hating on him for faking it. On the other hand, there are a lot of vets who take this stuff very seriously and confront these people. Why? Because they are claiming to have had experiences that they did not have, they are claiming a status that they did not earn.

That is exactly the problem with Jenner and Dolezal, on that level. Another problem is that they are unwittingly admitting that there is status and prestige in being a woman or a person of color, which sort of contradicts the idea that there are disabilities attached to being the one or the other.

There’s more; but I’m not sure what the end of it is. Just in general, I let people present themselves to me as whatever they want to claim they are. But there are issues of status and shared experience involved here, and those issues of status and shared experience aren’t going to go away. It’s the reason I keep getting alumni newsletters from the universities I attended, it’s the reason I and my son used to get booed when we wore SF gear to baseball games in the northeast.

Thanks syon – this is such an important point. People can argue all they want to about how many Jews were killed in The Holocaust, and the extent to which Hitler was personally involved. But there’s no denying what he did, and intended to do, to the slavs.

I think the natural inclination when someone claims to be something they are not, or were not, is simply to be nice and compassionate and accept whatever story they want to tell. I think a lot of people are responding to the Jenner case on that level. Why be mean? On the other hand, not too many people are willing to extend that courtesy to Rachel, and we ought to think about why. Because, if we seriously examine the biological basis for both claims — as Steve has done — both claims are either equally false or equally true. Even the claim, per Jenner, that she is the other gender in her mind and always was, could just as easily be made by Dolezal. And I am not even addressing, as has been mentioned, how both cases involve a financial incentive; a financial incentive that could easily lead someone to think they are being hoodwinked. Bottom line, both cases challenge us to ignore biological reality and accept self-articulated reality. And I think in the end, no matter how compassionate we may try to be, that challenge fails. It’s one thing to humor the paranoid fantasies of a relative; it’s another to actually believe them. And no one really does.

The grifters and rent seekers from the black grievance industry are extremely worried that any person can self identify as black. I applaud anyone who challenges the idea of race classification and it’s benefits under affirmative action and disparate outcome. The Kaiser ended up fighting and losing in: the North Atlantic (U boats), the Western Front, the Italian Front, the Balkan Front, the Eastern Front, and the Ottoman Front. There was not enough men, industry, and critically, transport/logistics to keep the fight going, though the Kaiser or rather by that point, Hindenberg could have gotten far better terms had he followed the advice of his front line generals to withdraw back to Germany after the failure of the 1918 Spring Offensive. But he could not give up the territory.
