Our society needs to do more to assure Goblin-American boys that they too can grow up to make Queen Boadicea their third wife.

Democratic presidential hopeful Dennis Kucinich remembers well those who helped his struggling family while he was growing up, including a nun who rescued him from a particularly hideous pair of pants.

As a boy, Kucinich was in charge of scanning the classifieds, looking for affordable apartments for his parents and six siblings. They moved 21 times — sometimes into their car — by the time he was 17.

I don’t know anything about any of the fictional or real people referenced but I won’t let that stop me from pointing out that Lady Kucinich is not a pretty girl. At best, she is a handsome woman.

I also can’t comment on either of their heights because I don’t know what they are all that I can tell is that the guy is way way way shorter than his wife and that this speaks to something way way way wrong with the guy.

No matter how tall or short he is, what man wants to walk around with a woman even an inch taller than him, never mind what seems like ten inches.

Unless they fell in love in some really beautiful disney manner that would render height irrelevant, any man with options who goes for a woman much taller or much older than him has a severely perverted soul.

Steve is something in like the 98th percentile of human height so pretty much every woman alive is shorter than him and therefore not viewed as ugly for being petite-challenged, but every man within the normal worldwide male distribution of 5″4 to 6″ would prefer a girl even 8 inches shorter than 3 inches taller.

Steve may prefer that all women wear heels so that he can be part of the conversation without having to go hunchback but most of us far prefer they didn’t. There are way too many women walking around with male height or builds.

Then again, there are men who like muscular women, square-jawed women, lawyer women, noticeably-older women and women with breast implants so I guess there’s no accounting for taste.

  8. About a dozen years ago, my wife and I were waiting to take a train out of Penn Station. We happened to be waiting in the same area as Kucinich. Three things I remember:

    1) I overheard one transit worker explaining to another who Kucinich was, that he was on some congressional committee that was important to them, and to basically wait on him and his wife. (I didn’t see anything from Kucinich or his wife indicating that they expected this.)

    2) Kucinich was eating some type of Asian food. With chopsticks.

    3) His wife was gorgeous.

He was a flaming lefty, but at least he was an honest flaming lefty… he was always so earnest about stuff that everyone else thought was bat-shit crazy — like abolishing the Department of Defense and creating the Department of Peace. He was honest enough to call out his own warmongering fellow Democrats instead of just playing partisan games and opposing Republican wars but not Democrat wars.

I wouldn’t want the guy to have any real power, of course… but a crank like him in the minority caucus where’s he’s a relatively harmless gadfly keeps things interesting.

And that red-headed old lady of his — half his age and twice as tall??? How can you not admire that??? It’s almost Trump-esque. Tell me that you wouldn’t bed her at age 70 and I’ll call you a liar.

  16. I voted for Kucinich both times he was in the Democratic primary (and I think I even forced myself to register as Democrat to do so – I despised both parties). In a nutshell, his appeal was that he seemed to be a genuine idealist (pursuing some of the ideals usually touted by the left), while also seeming to be a practical guy, willing to develop concrete ideas and to work with others regardless of political affiliation, and also seeming to reject “capture” by “political correctness”/SJWism. So basically: practical (leftish) idealism without SJWism. He is one of only two presidential candidates I ever genuinely liked voting for. The second was Trump.

“Rationalizing”? You mean that she’s not with me?

Jesus, you have low to no standards.

Anyone can say anything on the internet so all I’ve got going for me here is an iffy reputation at best but, hand on the bible, if I knew how to upload pics here (how?) and I cared nothing about privacy I’d happilly upload a picture of the girl I recently dumped – dressed or otherwise, with makeup or without – and I am confident that you would see I’m not rationalizing anything.

The point of my post was that she ought to be consisered unattractive to Dennis because she is much taller than him. Todays pu**y-whipped standards have men falling over themselves to call tall skinny women “hot” which, by natural human standards, they are not.

And she is not hot in her face either. Look, almost no girl over 30 is hot without makeup and good photography so I guess that dude above who said that only a liar wouldn’t bed her even if she were 70 (SEVENTY!!!) will have to call me a liar but while I probably would in fact bed her if she were 27 I would feel a bit gay-necro about it afterwards.

But even then, no. Unless it was a love-conquers-all situation or I develop some sort of masochistic perversion, I would not date either a girl with that facial structure or a girl more than an inch taller than myself.

Dennis Kucinich is taller than, and built more solidly than, that movie star hero from the Lord Of The Rings, Viggo Mortensen.

I saw Mortensen and Kucinich at a political event and I was surprised at how average Kucinich looked and how shrimp-like Mortensen looked.

The internet says Mortensen is 5 foot eleven inches but he’s lucky if he’s 5 feet seven inches.

Kucinich’s wife, Elizabeth, is a knockout who manages to look very graceful and elegantly beautiful at 6 feet tall. She had lovely lady shoulders that were wider than Mortensen’s.

Elizabeth Kucinich is from England. She must be a part of that crowd in England that is good looking.

    Attention Steve Sailer:

Would you please tell your pal Ann Coulter to get me a ticket for her “Deplorables” political event in New Hampshire? I disagree that she’s unattractive, if that is indeed what you’re saying. It’s not exactly clear what you’re saying with respect to that.

She’s shorter than me, and presumably most readers are either taller or not much shorter than she is, unlike Dennis himself, so it might be difficult to us to really appreciate the height difference. She’s about half a foot taller than Dennis is, so I’d have to imagine a 6’9″ version of her to be equivalent to Dennis’s experience. Steve would have to imagine a 7′ version of her.

A 6’9″ version of her would definitely be much less attractive to me than the 6′ real version of her is. Honestly, I can’t imagine myself with a woman that tall, no matter what she looks like. It would just be too weird. She would feel monstrous to me. Even though she’s feminine and doesn’t appear masculine at all, there’s something inherently masculine about dealing with a frame that much larger than you. It might be like handling a power forward in drag.

One thing to consider though is the age difference. She is like 30 years younger than he is. When you’re young, it’s not something you really understand or appreciate because you’re surrounded by young women. There aren’t big differences in youthfulness among young women to notice and appreciate. As you get older, you deal with women over a wider age range, and you realize that youth has a quality all its own. An older woman may be much more beautiful but she won’t have the youthful skin and glow that even a much less attractive younger woman will have. So her youthfulness may have been a factor for Dennis and may have mitigated any issues with height.

  49. @Moshe

No matter how tall or short he is, what man wants to walk around with a woman even an inch taller than him, never mind what seems like ten inches.

No matter? Did you actually stop to think about it for even two seconds?

If you are a tall guy (say Steve tall, 6’4″), it is extremely unlikely you ever see women taller than you, so your argument is moot. If you are a shortish guy (like me, 5’7″), and from a country of tall people where I was/am among the bottom 20% guys by height and, growing up, at least 1/3 of the girls were taller than me, then limiting yourself only to girls shorter than you limits your dating/mating options severely.

So let me spell out for you several reasons why a short guy would ‘walk around’ with a taller woman:
    1. You are not afraid of the fact that she is taller.
    2. Other guys envy you.
    3. There is less (possibly a lot less, depending on relative heights and attitudes) competition for tall women because of guys like you.
    4. You want to have taller kids.
    5. Etc.

You’re going to have really short kids. You put 5’4 at the bottom of worldwide male height distribution and say a guy would prefer 8 inches shorter than that to 3 inches taller. 8 inches shorter than 5’4-5’6 is serious midget territory.

On a side note I love observing the differences in average height depending on the scene. I go on a ski vacation and as a statistically average 5’5 white female I feel like a shrimp. But is Kucinich really that short? He is 5’7″ or 170cm. Born in 1946.

The average height at adulthood (acc. to this):
    - 176cm for U.S. men born in 1940
    - 177cm for U.S. men born in 1950.
    vs.
    - 172cm for French men born in 1940
    - 173cm for French men born in 1950
