Attorney General Says Feds Are Investigating Arrest of Ahmed the Clockmaker
Julia Zorthian @jzorth Dec. 4, 2015

The Department of Justice is investigating the arrest of Ahmed Mohamed, the 14-year-old Muslim boy whom police took into custody when he brought a homemade clock to his school in Texas, the U.S. Attorney General said Thursday.

Attorney General Loretta Lynch confirmed the investigation at the annual Muslim Advocates dinner in Arlington, Va., the Dallas Morning News reports. “We have, as you may know, opened an investigation into the case of the young man in Irving, Texas,” Lynch told Farhana Kher, Muslim Advocates President and Executive Director, during an interview. “So we will see where that investigation goes.”

They are legitimately just screwing with us now. There is no conceivable reason they couldn’t have waited a few days to announce this, after the failure to investigate Islamic radicals coming into the country.

It’s like they want Trump to win. Why else would they do something so clueless as to seem deliberately provocative?

At least TIME reported on it, though. I would’ve expected them to just sheepishly ignore it.

  2. When will our long national nightmare be over? Obama the uniter. I assume that everyone reading Steve knew what was in store for us back in 2008 but I’m wondering if starry-eyed liberals are learning a lesson here and whether they will ever again put a racial warrior into a position of power. The margins on the circle of starry-eyed, anti-racist, white liberals must be shrinking fast.

I think more damage has been done than can be fixed in a decade or two or perhaps ever.

Not just obvious stuff like doubling the debt or blowing up race relations or wrecking healthcare. The real damage, IMO, is invisible things like the OPM hack. Obama's preference for race and gender over competence gave China everything about every government employee, military included. They have all the files on what their neighbors thought they might be blackmailed over, for instance.

That is not really fixable. The US may be screwed for a very long time.
    , @AndrewR
Honestly I thought he really would be a uniter, and I have never held more than a handful of liberal beliefs. I just took him at face value. Whoever wrote his 2008 campaign speeches was apparently pink-slipped after the election. I imagine tens of millions of other Americans were similarly hoodwinked.
    , @WhatEvvs
Huh? I know a bunch of liberals who adore him, exactly for the reasons you (and I) hate him. I live and work around these people and they have doubled down and become more insane with passion for him and his works. They are ready to pick up where he left off with Hillary.

If we had a real press in this country, some reporter would ask Obama if he thinks Farook’s neighbor, who saw the half-dozen weird Muslim men going in and out of the house/bomb factory at all hours of the night, should have been suspicious and reported it.

The director of the FBI gave a statement. In it he said not to “write an innocent narrative over something you see that makes you feel uncomfortable." He was indirectly addressing what you are referring to - but even so, he couldn't say it openly.

    Infuriating.
    , @Harry Baldwin
If we had a real press in this country, some reporter would ask . . .

That thought goes through my mind daily. Recently, at a town meeting in New Hampshire, a young woman put this to Hillary: “You recently came out to say that all rape victims should be believed. But would you say that about Juanita Broaddrick, Kathleen Willey, and Paula Jones? Should we believe them as well?”

There's a question that many of us have wanted to ask Hillary. No reporter ever would have done so, however. Of course, Hillary, being a soulless pod person, swatted it away without blinking an eye.
  5. You know this is right out of a Monty Python skit or Kafka.

But I can see Lynch going after local officials, she’s a vindictive black leftist/race warrior. Given that just after the SB terrorist attack, she declared war on the 1A, threatening anyone who criticized her precious Muslim psychopaths, which is tantamount to blaming the victims of the SB attack.

Typical Muslim approach in many ways.

It won’t end well for Obama and the Democrats if we suffer more attacks on this scale before the next election. As it is, the MSM is serving some awfully thin gruel in his name. People are noticing and not buying his swill.

She was asked in an interview at an annual dinner about the investigation, which had been opened already.

Not really the point. The point is that the Lynch feels the FBI has enough resources to open a stupid investigation into the school's response to Clock Boy.
  7. Loretta Lynch also announced that she would jail anyone for anti-Islamic “hate speech” (read: critical of Islam or Muslims) that “trended into violence” (read: was critical of Muslims or Islam).

Obama really NEEDS more mass Muslim terror. It would be the perfect excuse for him to simply cancel elections and rule as President Butt Naked, to borrow a phrase from Heartiste, for twenty years or more.

After all, Loretta Lynch has already stated that the First Amendment no longer applies because France has closed a few mosques. Presumably she’ll be announcing that since Vichy France forced Jews to wear Yellow Stars, her regime will do the same. The better for followers of the Religion of Peace (or is the religion of pieces?) to identify them for extra special diversity.

Obama does not care about Trump since he does not care about elections. He and his people have no intention of leaving. This is not a mono-racial nation like Mexico. Term limits don’t apply since this is the only chance before the Hispanic tidal wave pushes Blacks into irrelevance to Get Whitey, which has been the top of the agenda for most Black people since time immemorial. A few more massacres by Muslims?

Great for Obama. A means to declare Martial Law and then get down to the real business — disarming Whitey, Getting Whitey, Saving the Planet (by Getting Whitey). That’s what he’s been about his whole life.

They might have asked her, in general, what the government is doing about anti-Muslim discrimination, but I really don't think it was a direct question about Clock Boy. And if it wasn't a direct question about Clock Boy, she probably should have realized how bad it sounds to bring up a federal investigation about a kid being asked some questions, who walked away without a hair on his head having been harmed, the day after a failure of intelligence resulted in fourteen people getting killed.

They have thousands of employees constantly working on these things independent of the AG. A lot of the FBI's anti-terror activity is spent on entrapping disturbed individuals:

I would like to agree with that but I can't. When faced with a Fed investigation demanding emails, documents, interviews with dozens of employees, and causing fear and political turmoil, etc., the school district will fold for a small penalty.
Lynch will then present this as proof that the district violated federal law, and proof that the whole Clock Boy kerfuffle was justified from the beginning.

I think more damage has been done than can be fixed in a decade or two or perhaps ever.

I disagree and this is why-
My theories are based on Donald Trump sliding into the White House the same way Obama did. Mostly by masses of fickle, uniformed American citizens voting him in. Obama was the 2008, 2012 flavor and Trump will be 2016's.
For 25 years free trade has been an important issue for me. But people like me have gotten nowhere trying to stop the self-destructive trade treaties we have signed. So you would think most Americans go along with free trade. But then where are all the objections with Donald Trump bringing up free trade all the time with the incendiary language of China, Mexico and Japan "ripping us off"? I have not heard them.

My translation is that the American people can be easily turned against free trade and open borders and turned on other important issues. They just need the right leadership to drive them home. Obama has been doing this in a negative way and Donald Trump can do this in a positive, pro-American way. If Trump can just get elected President, his strong leadership can realize a lot of the reversals you are looking for.

There is a downside to having too many sheeple in America, however Donald Trump will show us the upside. Look for him to be canceling *with_a_vengeance* hundreds of Obama's executive orders and issuing many of his own. Trump will have to lead, to shame, to pressure Congress the way Ronald Reagan did. Add intimidation too! All this can be done! Keep the faith! :)
I predict Trump will get in. Obama's game is to see how much he can destroy before January 20th 2017. Luckily for us he is looking spaced out and flailing around. Liberal talking heads are saying he has lost his mojo. Lets hope it remains this way.

OPM outsourced/outsources their IT to Department of the Interior.

    http://e-tattoo.beforeitsnews.com/politics/2015/07/department-of-interior-official-faked-transcripts-lied-about-education-2727120.html

The Department of the Interior’s computer systems played a major role in the breach of systems belonging to the Office of Personnel Management, and DOI officials were called before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee on Wednesday to answer questions about the over 3,000 vulnerabilities in agency systems discovered in a penetration test run by Interior’s Inspector General office. But there was one unexpected revelation during the hearing: a key Interior technology official who had access to sensitive systems for over five years had lied about his education, submitting falsified college transcripts produced by an online service.

The official, Faisal Ahmed, was assistant director of the Interior’s Office of Law Enforcement and Security from 2007 to 2013, heading its Technology division. He claimed to have a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, and a master’s degree in technology management from the University of Central Florida—but he never attended either of those schools. He resigned from his position at Interior when the fraudulent claim was exposed by a representative of the University of Central Florida’s alumni association, who discovered he had never attended the school after Ahmed accepted and then suddenly deleted a connection with her on LinkedIn.

Faisal did not leave government service, however—he took another government job at the Census Bureau, and is apparently still there, according to a report by the National Journal. While his name had been redacted from the official report, Rep. Cynthia Lummis (R-WY) 86% of Wyoming mentioned him by name multiple times during the committee hearing.

One of the advantages the Democrats had was the techies were on their side--it's the reason Democratic campaigns were always much more technically sophisticated. Now that they have to purge all the straight white males, though...

They probably should have just found one of these transwomen (male to female)--there seem to be a LOT of techie transwomen (probably related to sexual issues), and some of them are actually technically skilled.

No, I've come to the chilling conclusion they mean to see this through. In one of the black-on-white rape-torture-murder atrocities many here know of, it started with the victims opening the door to let-in a seemingly in-distress black motorist. Or maybe not, I've purposely never re-read any of these stories so that the hellish details can stay inchoate in my brain. But in any case, consider a thought experiment. Would any goodwhyte refuse to open their door to help a seemingly in-need black person, even though they knew this was a common home invasion tactic? And wouldn't such goodwhytes (or even some cuckservatives, though I'll call them Gribbles, in honor of the cuck'd KING OF THE HILL character) be even MORE inclined to open their doors KNOWING of this tactic, since the thought of profiling their beloved objects of diverse sanctity is even more unbearable than meeting a grisly end?

Archaeologists were recently miffed to discover small bones in Carthaginian ceremonial urns, since that meant Roman stories of Punic child sacrifice rituals were not just the racist calumnies of stale, pale, world-conquering males. I seriously believe we are living in the era of another child sacrifice cult. The most holy wish of any goodwhyte is to forgive the vibrant murderers of their own offspring, before being willingly lead to the slaughter themselves.

I suppose it's conceivable that the investigation vindicates the school district and finds that the little asshole and his asshole father should be arrested if they ever set foot again in this country. I mean, the odds against it are incredibly high, but who among us imagined that the DOJ's investigation of Ferguson would vindicate the cop?

No, I’ve come to the chilling conclusion they mean to see this through. In one of the black-on-white rape-torture-murder atrocities many here know of, it started with the victims opening the door to let-in a seemingly in-distress black motorist. Or maybe not, I’ve purposely never re-read any of these stories so that the hellish details can stay inchoate in my brain. But in any case, consider a thought experiment. Would any goodwhyte refuse to open their door to help a seemingly in-need black person, even though they knew this was a common home invasion tactic? And wouldn’t such goodwhytes (or even some cuckservatives, though I’ll call them Gribbles, in honor of the cuck’d KING OF THE HILL character) be even MORE inclined to open their doors KNOWING of this tactic, since the thought of profiling their beloved objects of diverse sanctity is even more unbearable than meeting a grisly end?

Archaeologists were recently miffed to discover small bones in Carthaginian ceremonial urns, since that meant Roman stories of Punic child sacrifice rituals were not just the racist calumnies of stale, pale, world-conquering males. I seriously believe we are living in the era of another child sacrifice cult. The most holy wish of any goodwhyte is to forgive the vibrant murderers of their own offspring, before being willingly lead to the slaughter themselves.

She gave away the store. They were warned, but her choice for IT director was incompetent. But she was a female IT director, the main criterion for putting her in that position, I suppose.

There is only a littler over 13 months left for him in office, so Hussein Obama is just coasting by at this point. He is not running for a 3rd term, which is why he has showed his true Left Wing colors at this point in his presidency. But at this point, it's not even "the right" he's trolling. It's just ordinary Americans, regardless of their politics. Why would you do that, unless you just really didn't like this country?

I never really thought that he did, but I at least figured he'd keep trying to hide it for appearance's sake.

It's probably just more posturing. Lynch is following Holder's lead in wasting a lot of time and resources on nonsense. They will interview people, discover information that doesn't fit their misunderstood genius lad persecuted by Texas gun worshippers narrative, drop the whole thing and slink away to await the next Just Cause. They only have another year or so and they know the tide is turning; expect endless doubling down on their way out.

I would like to agree with that but I can’t.

  39. The Attorney General should be investigating the “root causes” of the San Bernardino shootings.

    1. Were the shooters exposed to the President’s comments about Clock Boy? Could that have increased the shooters’ hatred by increasing their sense of aggrievement? Were the shooters exposed to any CAIR messages?

    2. Were the shooter’s given any sensitivity training at their jobs? Did that training increase their sense of victimization? Did that training increase their sensitivity to any feelings of being slighted? Did the training emphasize the message that Muslims should be sensitive to and tolerant of non-Muslim feelings and customs?

    3. Was the husband shooter exposed to any sensitivity training in his schools? If so, same questions as 2 above.

    4. Were the shooters exposed to any NPR broadcasts about “Islamophobia” that might have increased their sense of aggrievement?

    5. Did the “radicalization” of the husband occur after exposure to these aggrievement-enhancing experiences?

    6. Were the shooters exposed to any “Tolerance” bumper stickers which some Muslims might see as a criticism of Islam?

I wonder if the reason Hussein Obama has such an extremely positive view of Islam is because he grew up around docile Mongoloid Indonesian Muslims, instead of Arab Muslims who tend to have higher testosterone and thus a lot more likely to be bat shit crazy. Arab Muslims are definitely a lot less docile than Mongoloid Indonesian, Malaysian, and Thai Muslims.

Notice that so far none of the Islamic terrorist attacks on U.S and European soil have been committed by Mongoloid Muslims. They have all been committed by MENA Muslims. So Arab genes are just as much of a problem as the religion of Islam itself. Arabs have really given Islam a negative image worldwide.

When will our long national nightmare be over?

I think more damage has been done than can be fixed in a decade or two or perhaps ever.

Not just obvious stuff like doubling the debt or blowing up race relations or wrecking healthcare. The real damage, IMO, is invisible things like the OPM hack. Obama's preference for race and gender over competence gave China everything about every government employee, military included. They have all the files on what their neighbors thought they might be blackmailed over, for instance.

That is not really fixable. The US may be screwed for a very long time.

I think more damage has been done than can be fixed in a decade or two or perhaps ever.

I disagree and this is why-
My theories are based on Donald Trump sliding into the White House the same way Obama did. Mostly by masses of fickle, uniformed American citizens voting him in. Obama was the 2008, 2012 flavor and Trump will be 2016′s.
For 25 years free trade has been an important issue for me. But people like me have gotten nowhere trying to stop the self-destructive trade treaties we have signed. So you would think most Americans go along with free trade. But then where are all the objections with Donald Trump bringing up free trade all the time with the incendiary language of China, Mexico and Japan “ripping us off”? I have not heard them.

My translation is that the American people can be easily turned against free trade and open borders and turned on other important issues. They just need the right leadership to drive them home. Obama has been doing this in a negative way and Donald Trump can do this in a positive, pro-American way. If Trump can just get elected President, his strong leadership can realize a lot of the reversals you are looking for.

There is a downside to having too many sheeple in America, however Donald Trump will show us the upside. Look for him to be canceling *with_a_vengeance* hundreds of Obama’s executive orders and issuing many of his own. Trump will have to lead, to shame, to pressure Congress the way Ronald Reagan did. Add intimidation too! All this can be done! Keep the faith! :)
I predict Trump will get in. Obama’s game is to see how much he can destroy before January 20th 2017. Luckily for us he is looking spaced out and flailing around. Liberal talking heads are saying he has lost his mojo. Lets hope it remains this way.

This is something that progs and their NAM allies can’t or won’t seem to grasp. If America is so bad why do non-whites come by the thousands daily to the USA? Why do they continue to stay when the crown jewel of the muslim world, Qatar, opens its arms? It’s not like non-whites can’t just pick up and move in this day and age. If 20 million or so Mexicans could have come in here in the past 35 years, millions of non-whites could have just as easily left the US.

People say don’t listen to what others say, watch what they do. And if you abide by this advice you have to conclude that America is the best place on earth for a nonwhite to live. If it weren’t, they’d be leaving.

Maybe I'm wrong, but until I hear the question, there's no way to know. I'm just telling you what seems like the most likely scenario to me.

She volunteered the information without having been asked. In the video, she does that just before the bookmark.

I suppose it’s conceivable that the investigation vindicates the school district and finds that the little asshole and his asshole father should be arrested if they ever set foot again in this country. I mean, the odds against it are incredibly high, but who among us imagined that the DOJ’s investigation of Ferguson would vindicate the cop?

The FBI and Justice Departments are large bureaucracies that spend a lot of their resources and manpower investigating even more stupid and frivolous things than clock boy.

And proudly pointing this out, on the day after the world saw what happens when you fail to do something important, might justifiably be considered aggravating by sensible people.

Are you just refusing to understand this or what?

I really think we are seeing a first for a president: Trolling as official policy. He's just cracking himself up at this point by seeing how far he can troll the right. And to hell with Hillary; he never liked her anyway.

There is only a littler over 13 months left for him in office, so Hussein Obama is just coasting by at this point. He is not running for a 3rd term, which is why he has showed his true Left Wing colors at this point in his presidency. He no longer even pretends to be a moderate middle of the road politician like he did in 2008. He now wears his Leftism on his sleeves.

I believe one reason the AG is discussing this case is because clock boy has expressed a desire to return. Though he received the scholarship in Qatar, he longs to come back to Texas. So maybe the DOJ is doing this to try to make it easier and less embarrassing for him to return.

This is something that progs and their NAM allies can't or won't seem to grasp. If America is so bad why do non-whites come by the thousands daily to the USA? Why do they continue to stay when the crown jewel of the muslim world, Qatar, opens its arms? It's not like non-whites can't just pick up and move in this day and age. If 20 million or so Mexicans could have come in here in the past 35 years, millions of non-whites could have just as easily left the US.

People say don't listen to what others say, watch what they do. And if you abide by this advice you have to conclude that America is the best place on earth for a nonwhite to live. If it weren't, they'd be leaving.

“I believe one reason the AG is discussing this case is because clock boy has expressed a desire to return. Though he received the scholarship in Qatar, he longs to come back to Texas. So maybe the DOJ is doing this to try to make it easier and less embarrassing for him to return.”

Qatar has the highest Human Development Index in the Arab world, yet Qatar is still not First World enough for Clock Boy’s tastes.

The Black Sudanese Muslim boy misses Texas, even though it is a politically red state full of racist Islamophobic White Christians who cling to their bibles and their guns.

I've passed through Qatar. It's pretty grim. An Indian told me some of the big buildings downtown are empty, just there for show. Outside of the hotel, it's somewhere between the moon and a small town in west Texas.

And the Arabs have to put up with whitey, and be a little polite, but they don't act that way to any of the other inferior races, Moslem or not, especially not sub-Saharan Africans.

When it comes to bomb making Muslims, the slogan of the Obama regime is:

If you see something, shut the f___ up, you racist!

“When it comes to bomb making Muslims, the slogan of the Obama regime is:

If we had a real press in this country, some reporter would ask Obama if he thinks Farook's neighbor, who saw the half-dozen weird Muslim men going in and out of the house/bomb factory at all hours of the night, should have been suspicious and reported it.

There’s a question that many of us have wanted to ask Hillary. No reporter ever would have done so, however. Of course, Hillary, being a soulless pod person, swatted it away without blinking an eye.

I saw that. That poor girl thought that it mattered whether Hillary was sincere or not. It doesn't. It's not like feminists are going to be so outraged by her insincerity that they'd vote for somebody else. And it's not like everyone else in the world doesn't already know what a liar she is.

Honestly I thought he really would be a uniter,

Well honestly I never thought that, but I supported him through volunteer work both times. He’s not great, but why would I vote for a party controlled by Likud? Really. It’s an issue. Trump, however, is different.

I can understand that, and honestly, it doesn’t even really bother me. Hell, if I was President, I’d probably spend my last year or two trolling the opposition too.

But at this point, it’s not even “the right” he’s trolling. It’s just ordinary Americans, regardless of their politics. Why would you do that, unless you just really didn’t like this country?

I never really thought that he did, but I at least figured he’d keep trying to hide it for appearance’s sake.

Loretta Lynch also announced that she would jail anyone for anti-Islamic "hate speech" (read: critical of Islam or Muslims) that "trended into violence" (read: was critical of Muslims or Islam).

Presumably she'll be announcing that since Vichy France forced Jews to wear Yellow Stars, her regime will do the same. The better for followers of the Religion of Peace (or is the religion of pieces?) to identify them for extra special diversity.

Obama does not care about Trump since he does not care about elections. He and his people have no intention of leaving. This is not a mono-racial nation like Mexico. Term limits don't apply since this is the only chance before the Hispanic tidal wave pushes Blacks into irrelevance to Get Whitey, which has been the top of the agenda for most Black people since time immemorial. A few more massacres by Muslims?

Great for Obama. A means to declare Martial Law and then get down to the real business -- disarming Whitey, Getting Whitey, Saving the Planet (by Getting Whitey). That's what he's been about his whole life.

Weren’t you predicting the same thing in advance of the 2012 elections, citing Benghazi?
