It’s not “chain migration,” it’s “clan migration.”

Who is Jonathan Weisman?

Screenshot 2018-01-05 16.24.34

@BananaPopcorn replies:

The phrase “family-based migration system” never once appeared in any book in Google’s Ngram system, which goes up through 2007.

(By the way, Ngram’s database cuts off in mid 2008, so don’t make 2008 the last date in your Ngram search request. Use 2007 and turn off smoothing to avoid the characteristic Ngram downturn at the end that puzzles so many users.)

This reminds me that it’s likely that much of Trump Derangement Syndrome would have been avoided if Establishment journalists like Weisman, author of the upcoming book (((Semitism))): Being Jewish in the Age of Trump, had stuck to their activities coordinating The Narrative via private email lists like Journolist rather than switching to public Twitter.

Doing this kind of thing in public on Twitter made it easy for average folks to call out pro-diversity journalists for their hypocrisy, which the journalists find not just annoying, but a potential threat to their jobs due to the extreme disparate impact by ethnicity seen in the media profession.

Here’s his book’s promotional text:

Bernard-Henri Lévy: “It would be wonderful if anti-Semitism was a European specialty and stopped at the border with the United States. Alas, this is not the case. Jonathan Weisman’s new book (((Semitism))) shows why…”

A short, literary, powerful contemplation on how Jews are viewed in America since the election of Donald J. Trump, and how we can move forward to fight anti-Semitism

Anti-Semitism has always been present in American culture, but with the rise of the Alt Right and an uptick of threats to Jewish communities since Trump took office

Most of them coming from a Jewish guy in Israel, some of the rest coming from a leftist black journalist, but who can remember all the way back to 2017?

, New York Times editor Jonathan Weisman has produced a book that could not be more important or timely. When Weisman was attacked on Twitter by a wave of neo-Nazis and anti-Semites, witnessing tropes such as the Jew as a leftist anarchist; as a rapacious, Wall Street profiteer; and as a money-bags financier orchestrating war for Israel, he stopped to wonder: How has the Jewish experience changed, especially under a leader like Donald Trump?

In (((Semitism))), Weisman explores the disconnect between his own sense of Jewish identity and the expectations of his detractors and supporters. He delves into the rise of the Alt Right, their roots in older anti-Semitic organizations, the odd ancientness of their grievances―cloaked as they are in contemporary, techy hipsterism―and their aims―to spread hate in a palatable way through a political structure that has so suddenly become tolerant of their views.

He concludes with what we should do next, realizing that vicious as it is, anti-Semitism must be seen through the lens of more pressing threats. He proposes a unification of American Judaism around the defense of self and of others even more vulnerable: the undocumented immigrants, refugees, Muslim Americans, and black activists who have been directly targeted, not just by the tolerated Alt Right, but by the Trump White House itself.

Sulzberger's probably noticed that the men getting canned are nearly all Jewish, and he's upset about it. He's watching a Jewish liberal elite disappear from power, and that likely has him in a panic. Some of these men may be his personal friends. At heart, he's just an elite trying to rally around other elites. If he keeps pushing it, there's going to be a dramatic schism among the left in his own balliwick, and he'll see his subscribers drop. Leftists are extremely intolerant of anti-left messages, and they won't tolerate it from their own side. They'll take him out to the woodshed like BLM did to Bernie Sanders.

Reasonable? Listen to her defense of Balthus' atrocious paintings of child molestation:

"Consider the fact that the campaign last month against the Met to remove a Balthus painting that shows a young girl in a suggestive light was organized by two young Manhattan feminists. Fortunately, they were unsuccessful. This is the kind of censorship practiced by religious zealots."

  6. Pardon me, brother, I couldn’t help but overhearing. You were saying that the revolution will be complete when the language is perfected. I couldn’t agree more.

I insist on using the term “refugee” (with quotes). I will never forget or forgive the initial coverage of this very artificial event two years ago on NPR and BBC radio, or how, after they were exposed to be lying about the poor helpless “refugees,” they took this arrogant tone to correct the people with the term migrant, as though they were merely responsible editors discovering somebody else’s innocent typo.
What if this degrades sympathy for real refugees? I hope it does. The central evil of our time is the elite’s escaping of consequences. Consequences, no matter how ugly, are our friend and keep us sane. Would this editor flee from Newspeak term to newer Newspeak term if he had to actually answer for all of them? Besides, what refugees? I remember the Syrian Orthodox nuns, I remember Ambassador Robert Ford publicly supporting the “FSA.”
As has been the case for a while now, they’re literally Orwellian. I don’t know but expect that, in the past, you would give editorialists and to an extent investigative journalists some leeway in their use of terms. I seem to remember that being the case. Surely Robert Novak preferred different but potentially interchangeable economic terms from, say, Robert Reich?

Ah, yes, an alliance with immigrants from cultures that at best have conditional views of violence against Jews. That’s gonna work out real well. As we all know, those French Jews making aliyah to Israel are totally fleeing the Front National…

Seriously, what is wrong with these people? I’m no fan of the Religious Right, or of Wall Street, but the idea that the GOP can be “Nazified” ignores the massive heft of both preventing any such scenario. And for a supposed anti-Semitic pseudo-fascist, Trump has an odd relationship with his Jewish son-in-law and daughter, to say nothing of Israel.

Get over it, New York Times: Jews are not by any stretch of the word a persecuted group in 2017 America. You want an example of societies that really deal with problematic rising anti-Semitism, go abroad to Europe right now and see how mass uncontrolled migration from the Muslim World is working out. Over vast swaths of what is still the American nation, it's not victims vs. oppressors, but not many liberal Jews live there and there is an embargo on news from that part of America.

But I’m confess that the inability of many liberal American Jews to psychologically escape the victim mentality is extraordinarily tiresome.

I think that Marine Le Pen described it rather nicely:

“The reality is that there exist in France associations that are supposedly representative of French Jews, which have stuck with a software that came out of the Second World War,” she said, meaning that members of the Jewish leadership are still preoccupied with the threat of Nazi-like fascism. “For decades they have continued to fight against an anti-Semitism that no longer exists in France, for reasons of—how should I say this?—intellectual laziness. And by a form of submission to the politically correct. And while they were doing this, while they were fighting against an enemy that no longer existed, an anti-Semitism was gaining force in France stemming notably from the development of fundamentalist Islamist thought.”

    , @SFG
My personal opinion: these guys (by which I mean liberal elite Jews, not your dentist, our commenters, or Stephen Miller) want to feel they're the underdogs. They were raised on stories of Jews escaping oppression and fighting oppression of others (leaving aside the other sides of those stories such as the huge rise in crime in many areas for a moment), and the thought that they are now the Hated White Oppressor bothers them. While I actually do think there's been a rise in antisemitic hate events (though, as many have pointed out, many of those turned out to be fake), it's not going to change the fact that dudes like Weisman don't want to admit they're now a member of a powerful group and on the Wrong Side of History according to intersectionality.

Let's be honest, being Jewish isn't really going to hurt you in 21st-century-America unless you're trying to become an alt-right blogger. You might get a lot of nasty emails if you're a lefty journalist, but it's not going to keep you out of medical school or Silicon Valley (and might even help if you have the right networks). But it's such a huge part of Weisman's identity he has to blow up nasty emails and tweets into a whole identity. He wants to be on the side of the POCs, LGBTs, migrants, etc., not the evil white oppressors who live in trailer parks and have missing teeth and listen to country music....er, evil white oppressors who drink gin and tonics and play golf at country clubs.

There's also probably, as many people have said, the recognition that the rising POC part of the left sees Jews as whites (even if the alt-right doesn't) and wants to throw them out with the rest of the pale bathwater. Orne's dictum applies here: do not call up that which you cannot put down.
    , @SMK
Yes, there are real "anti-Semites," irrational Jew-haters who blame the Jews for almost everything. But they have no power and influence, other than commenting, anonymously, on a few "aft-right" websites. "A political structure that has so suddenly become tolerant of their views." What "political structure, the Republican Party, the Trump administration?! But paranoid Jews like Weisman read such comments and envision the rise of a Nazi-like regime and perhaps a second Holocaust. Trump as Hitler! They're psychotic.

To Weisman and myriads of other Jews and white gentiles, "anti-Semitism" is telling the truth about Jewish power and influence, vastly disproportional given that Jews are a tiny fraction of the population, and criticizing and opposing the Jewish elites and their agendum and zeitgeist as largely and essentially malevolent: e.g., the "neoconservative" and "neoliberal" invade-the-word/invite-the-world ideology, disastrous wars to advance the interests of Israel and promote democracy while supporting an invasion of nonwhite aliens from the Third-world that will soon transform the U.S. into a nonwhite-majority country, and much else.

Similarly, "racism" is telling the truth about average black IQ, pandemic criminality, black-on-white violence, illegitimacy, etc., and politically-incorrect and heterodox criticism of blacks as a group and as individuals. Such honesty and realism is now decried and vilified and censored and suppressed. And, in the future, perhaps the near future, truth-telling abut Jews, blacks, "Hispanics,' and Muslims will be criminalized. European "hate-speech" laws are ineluctable, and perhaps imminent.

    , @AnotherDad

    >He proposes a unification of American Judaism around the defense of self and of others even more vulnerable: the undocumented immigrants, refugees, Muslim Americans, and black activists who have been directly targeted, not just by the tolerated Alt Right, but by the Trump White House itself.

    Coalition of the parasites!

Again, i have no problem with Weisman and all the "liberal" Jews who think like this or Stephens, Rubin and all the "conservative" Jews who skip the "vulnerability chic" and just want to dispossess goyim having *their own* multiculti Lennonist imaginatopia.

Honestly, i'm on board. Let's have a vote, find where the various multi-culti types live and don't, shuffle around the population and split up. (It would be nice to do this for the whole Western world at once and pack them and their various brown and muzzie pets into one place, one "nation"--i.e. blob of territory ruled by a state, it would not be nation--so the rest of us could resume normal life.)

But this is absolutely positively not what these Jews want. What they care about is not the multiculti multitudes, it's dispossessing and screwing the goyim. Making the goyim support parasites. Turning the goyim into serfs.

Seriously, what is wrong with these people?

Nothing wrong. Or at least it's the same thing that has been "wrong" for 2000 years. The Jews have a tight sense of tribal loyalty and an ideology non-integration and hostily to the majority population. (Gypsies have basically the same.)

Elite American Jews are just in this relatively bizzare situation where they are no longer operating with the sanction of a greedy elite class (e.g. the Polish nobility), but actually are the elite overclass themselves. And in fact in the last generation--and particularly the last ten years--are so comfortably in that position that they feel completely at ease publicly articulating their to dispossess the goyim and turn them into serfs.

Well… as one of his detractors, I have to say, I expect the editors of the New York Times to be a bunch of guys exactly like him. Exactly like him. So I really don’t know what “disconnect” he’s talking about.

If Joos don’t like people thinking that they have too much power in the media, why don’t they all quit their jobs in the media and get real jobs? That’d shut up those mean ol’ anti-Semites right away. But they don’t do that, do they? So it seems as though, for some reason nobody can guess, they value their jobs in the press more than they’re bothered by the accusations.

Exactly. He realizes, after he has complained about Jews being special victims, that his story leaves them standing out alone, apart from everyone else and vulnerable, with the potential of being ganged up on by virtually everyone. So he has to hustle back into the fold of humanity by listing all the other alleged victims of oppression by bad whites. This is the Jewish shtick. Their love of humanity is an afterthought. Camouflage. Like a decorator crab adorning itself with bits of seaweed and odd bits of marine animals.

I know, what a laugh, right. He's going to solve "anti-semitism" by exasperating its causes.

I think people like him simply believe that all these "reasons" that so-called "anti-semites" give are just a cover for their underlying, primordial Jew-hatred that hyper-Jews like this Weisman suspect lurk in every goy's heart. In his mind, it's not really about typical Jewish stances on immigration, multiculturalism and other forms of anti-white activism; it's because people just hate Jews.

“Oh My God, This Is So F—ed Up”: Inside Silicon Valley’s Secretive, Orgiastic Dark Side
Some of the most powerful men in Silicon Valley are regulars at exclusive, drug-fueled, sex-laced parties—gatherings they describe not as scandalous, or even secret, but as a bold, unconventional lifestyle choice. Yet, while the guys get laid, the women get screwed. In an adaptation from her new book, Brotopia, Emily Chang exposes the tired and toxic dynamic at play.

    , @27 year old
Emily Chang should be embarrassed that she made a story about mdma sex parties so boring to read.

She implies and maybe even says (I dozed off for a while there while reading) that the men are giving the girls the drugs to make them more open to the sex stuff, in the sense of like drugged and taken advantage of. But that's not really all of what's going on. The mdma makes the guys open to it too. They feel comfortable in the situation where they otherwise might revert to their pre-hotshot state and be overwhelmed by anxiety instead of just enjoying getting a double bj while their buddies watch.

And they must enjoy it, because otherwise they aren't a man. They have no reference point for manhood other than Pornhub because modernity/liberalism doesn't have ways for men to validate themselves besides sex. Emily Chang of course wants to take that away too or at least slut shame the men for it. Her types bitch about this stuff going on but it's happening partly because liberalism warped male brain development.

Note: I wholeheartedly endorse mdma sex parties, even if (I mean uh... especially if) it's just with your wife. Many many benefits beyond the sex, of course its not without some risks, and I am not a lawyer, consult your local DEA office, etc

--> Irritation that these rich nerd guys are sleeping around "catching up", rather than putting a ring on it and giving women their money. (Foolishly most of them end up doing that eventually anyway.)

--> Irritation that young women can't necessarily sleep their way to top.

--> Irritation that women can get a sexual rep from their sexual behavior. (Only guys should be labelled players for being immature players. Sluts shouldn't be labelled sluts.)

--> Irritation that men are off somewhere sometimes doing something--and sometimes discussing business!--without women (or the women who want to be there) being around. As if they (thought they) had a choice.

If it's victims vs. oppressors, you don't dare stop being victims.

Over vast swaths of what is still the American nation, it's not victims vs. oppressors, but not many liberal Jews live there and there is an embargo on news from that part of America.

The unending condescension towards or outright celebration of whites’ demise by unanonymous liberal Jews on Twitter is because they feel like victims… because they don’t really understand flyover America… right… crying out in pain as they… gotcha…

If these people thought for a minute they were actually under threat they’d shut their yaps.

Here is a rather more entertaining writing sample in Bernard-Henri Lévy’s (“BHL’s”) trademark trans-atlantic Gauloise-flavored Franglais:

  22. Bernard-Henri Lévy: “It would be wonderful if anti-Semitism was a European specialty and stopped at the border with the United States. Alas, this is not the case. Jonathan Weisman’s new book (((Semitism))) shows why…”

Countersemitism follows Jews wherever they go. They’ve rationalized this as “mystical,” “eternal,” “irrational” antisemitism, in addition to “envy,” but I don’t think anyone should find that any more persuasive when Jewry does it than they do when a person does something similar (“you hate me because I’m so fabulous,” “the world is unfair to me,” etc.).

witnessing tropes such as the Jew as a leftist anarchist; as a rapacious, Wall Street profiteer; and as a money-bags financier orchestrating war for Israel, he stopped to wonder: How has the Jewish experience changed, especially under a leader like Donald Trump?

Do any of those stereotypes really not seem apropos?

In (((Semitism))), Weisman explores the disconnect between his own sense of Jewish identity and the expectations of his detractors and supporters. He delves into the rise of the Alt Right, their roots in older anti-Semitic organizations, the odd ancientness of their grievances―cloaked as they are in contemporary, techy hipsterism―and their aims―to spread hate in a palatable way through a political structure that has so suddenly become tolerant of their views.

K, I’m gonna explain how this goes. Weisman delved, then he cherry-picked the least cogent counter-semitism to quote and respond to, so he could construct a giant straw man in his book. That’s Jewish SOP, anyway; ignore the real crit, hope no one notices how badly this reflects on them.

In other words, double down. Isn’t that what everyone does when criticized? Double down on what people are objecting to?

99.99 % pro-semitism is not enough! Anything less than 100% support, admiration and adulation of Jews is anti-semitism.
    , @Rosamond Vincy
I don't either. My doctor, a nice Jewish man, told me he was voting for Trump not least because he was worried about all the Muslim immigration. He'd recognized what it did to Europe. I'm betting he's not alone, but the media types are louder. I'll go further: some people who live in liberal enclaves like NYC probably lied like rugs about how they voted.
    , @SFG
Actually, if you read the denunciations carefully, they usually don't directly accuse Trump of antisemitism himself. Everyone knows antisemites don't marry their daughters off to Jewish guys. (Well, Lovecraft married a Jewish girl, but the real world wasn't HPL's area of strength.) The usual allegation is that Trump's nativism created the conditions to allow for an upsurge of antisemitism.

I'd actually agree with them to some degree, but I haven't seen any crematoria being built or annoying pundits being sent there, and the country needs a steep drop in immigration and a push to assimilation. So, MAGA.

Before they'd switch positions on immigration, they would (in order)

-Make payments to alt-lite figures like Posobiec
    -Increase donations to the ADL/SPLC
-Use media influence to legitimize the antifa movement, which could be openly funded
-Support higher taxes to increase social programs in poor white regions
-Falsely claim to switch positions, allow minor restrictions to pass Congress
-Tell AIPAC to switch positions to a unilateral West Bank withdrawal
    -Actually make Aliyah to Israel
    -Seek political asylum in Iran

Ah, yes, an alliance with immigrants from cultures that at best have conditional views of violence against Jews. That's gonna work out real well. As we all know, those French Jews making aliyah to Israel are totally fleeing the Front National...

Seriously, what is wrong with these people? I'm no fan of the Religious Right, or of Wall Street, but the idea that the GOP can be "Nazified" ignores the massive heft of both preventing any such scenario. And for a supposed anti-Semitic pseudo-fascist, Trump has an odd relationship with his Jewish son-in-law and daughter, to say nothing of Israel.

Get over it, New York Times: Jews are not by any stretch of the word a persecuted group in 2017 America.

But that’s not really all of what’s going on. The mdma makes the guys open to it too. They feel comfortable in the situation where they otherwise might revert to their pre-hotshot state and be overwhelmed by anxiety instead of just enjoying getting a double bj while their buddies watch.

My understanding is that kinky sex within marriage is not opposed by most religions. So, why not?

Seriously, I read that article, and you can totally get how feminists get really annoyed every time men start to sleep around. I wouldn't make it all into a 'feminists hate beta men' thing...they hate alpha men too, they just can't help sleeping with them (the heterosexual ones) because, well, human nature. (Check out Jessica Valenti's memoir where she describes the guys she sleeps with as 6'3" and blond.)

Basically, it proceeds from the premise that only women matter. If a woman divorces a guy and collects half his salary in alimony, then spends it all on coke and shoes, and gets thrown out of her apartment because he is late with the alimony check, it is an example of male oppression of women.
    , @nebulafox
While I agree with your comment, I'd also add that this is an article about sexual matters in 21st Century America... in Vanity Fair, to boot. It's safe to say that the amount of people participating in such parties and how often is probably rather exaggerated and fetishized, much like college sex is. You believe the press, college students are hooking up 24/7. Not the case in reality, for either gender-as I wish I knew at the time.

Contrary to the wunderkind stereotype, the majority of guys who make it big in the startup world are in their 30s and 40s. Unless you have donors, you need money to create a startup-and for most people, experience to do anything practical with it. Even for the notoriously ageist Y Combinator, the average grant winner is 31 years old. Many are married by then, sometimes with kids, and relative to other kinds of powerful men, fewer tend to cheat. (That a good many of them tend to be mildly autistic, and view sex mainly in utilitarian terms-a physical requirement to be gotten over with, preferably with minimum effort, so they can focus on their interests-plays into this some. One woman is enough for that.)

Their wives, from my observation, tend to be the kind of reality-oriented woman who understands that beneath the social awkwardness lies long-term potential. (Or who come from cultures-like East Asian ones-where male "alphaness" is associated with having the biggest brains, rather than brawn or social brashness and slickness.)

    , @Alden
I doubt all the women are women working in tech. The way these type of parties work a lot of the women are part time high end escort girls paid to be there.

Please don't attempt to speak for all men. Just because you and your tribe are prone to licentiousness does not mean all men are. There are still those who are not driven by lust or has no morals.
    , @Anon
    Some observations from Silicon Valley:

    1) When I read the article, a video advertisement with Mark Cuban popped up. Not sure if that was intentional.

    2) Having seen the girlfriends of both successful and wannabe founders, I'm guessing the <30yo women at these parties are 6's who think this is the life LA super models live.

    3) On the other hand, when I hear Pacific Heights, Napa, and Atherton that sounds like the 45+ crowd. Your average 45+ VC looks and dresses like they are 55+. Throw in a few awkward Indian and skinny fat international VCs, and this seems like call girl territory. I suspect the MDMA is to keep the call girls from vomiting.

    4) There are so many avenues outside of SV for this behavior to go down where it wouldn't be a big deal. Burning Man, West LA, basically any rave.

    5) The author seems full of sh*t.

If he keeps pushing it, there’s going to be a dramatic schism among the left in his own balliwick, and he’ll see his subscribers drop. 43. I vividly remember the expression “chain migration” from two courses in US social history I took as an undergraduate at Harvard, in both of which it was used a lot. The other one wasn’t used at all. This was in the mid-1980s, and the professors were Stephan Thernstrom and Oscar Handlin.

I may be wrong, but I vaguely remember that one of those professors actually coined the phrase to indicate a phenomenon previously unidentified in the academy.

  48. Call it chain migration or family-based migration or family reunification. Call it whatever the hell you want. No matter what you call it what it means is that Americans whose ancestors have lived here for centuries, whose ancestors came here when this place was nothing but an empty wilderness, who fought in the Revolutionary War and World War II, have less say over who gets to immigrate here than someone who arrived here just a few years ago – who can sponsor their parents, siblings, and arranged marriage spouses.

My ancestors began arriving here in 1620. All were here before the Civil War, and some died in it fighting for the Union. Both of my grandfathers and most of my grand-uncles served in World War II or Korea. I tried to serve in the military but was prevented by a minor disability. But I have no foreign ties to sponsor anyone at all. Meanwhile Pedro from Juarez and Sanjay from New Delhi can sponsor 20 family members from the home country.

If these people couldn’t bear to part from their families then they shouldn’t have come here at all. Absent chain migration they still have these things called email, snail mail, UPS, FedEx, Facetime, and the commercial airline industry to use as ways to keep in touch with their family abroad – the same technology used by hundreds of millions of Americans to keep in touch with other family members who live in other parts of the country.

The only way to stop chain migration is to stop parents and siblings from being sponsored for visas/green cards. Foreign spouses who have never set foot on America should also be banned. South Asians and Muslims are particularly into this practice of arranged marriage. It's how so many Pakistanis got into the UK, by marrying their cousins. I say deny all such visa applications. They can move back to the motherland if they insist on marrying someone from the motherland.

  52. Let’s give Weisman the benefit of the doubt and just Ngram “family-based migration” (leaving off “system”) versus “chain migration.”

Those searches show that “chain migration” peaks at about .000007% usage, while “family-based migration” peaks at about .00000005% usage. That’s five zeros before the digit against seven zeros before the digit, so “chain migration” shows up about 140 times for every time that “family-based migration” is used.

Also, “chain migration” first appears in the 1950s, while “family-based migration” first appears in the early 1980s.

Bad move. If Jews adopted the immigration stance of Stephen Miller, they could become heroes overnight. Maybe not to the hardcore anti-semites of which there are not a large number. But they would definitely be heroes to the multitudes of working class folk, black and white and the middle class who want to oppose immigration, but are afraid of the social repercussions. Jews in the media have the power and social exemptions that regular whites don't have to be able to push for tougher, Israeli-like immigration without fear of losing their career.

Before they’d switch positions on immigration, they would (in order)

-Make payments to alt-lite figures like Posobiec
    -Increase donations to the ADL/SPLC
-Use media influence to legitimize the antifa movement, which could be openly funded
-Support higher taxes to increase social programs in poor white regions
-Falsely claim to switch positions, allow minor restrictions to pass Congress
-Tell AIPAC to switch positions to a unilateral West Bank withdrawal
    -Actually make Aliyah to Israel
    -Seek political asylum in Iran

I wish this was a humorous exaggeration, but I don’t have any confidence in their community to do right by my community. They have a genuine, albeit irrational and wrong, fear of us.

In (((Semitism))), Weisman explores the disconnect between his own sense of Jewish identity and the expectations of his detractors and supporters.

Well... as one of his detractors, I have to say, I expect the editors of the New York Times to be a bunch of guys exactly like him. Exactly like him. So I really don't know what "disconnect" he's talking about.

If Joos don't like people thinking that they have too much power in the media, why don't they all quit their jobs in the media and get real jobs? That'd shut up those mean ol' anti-Semites right away. But they don't do that, do they? So it seems as though, for some reason nobody can guess, they value their jobs in the press more than they're bothered by the accusations.

He proposes a unification of American Judaism around the defense of self and of others even more vulnerable: the undocumented immigrants, refugees, Muslim Americans, and black activists

So teaming up with everyone else against the white goyim. Once again. This is exactly what the anti-Semites predict the Joos would do. What disconnect does he think there is? He couldn't behave more stereotyically if he tried.

“So teaming up with everyone else against white goyim.”

This revisionism over terminology is silly, of course, but here's a reality check on how long it actually takes for these chains to form: https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2017/12/29/16504272/chain-migration-family-how-trump-end

If an exponential growth of population takes an exponential amount of time, it ain't really exponential. Your hard annual quotas on immigrants poses a natural barrier to actual chain migration (the kind that brought the ancestors of most of the commenters on this blog to American shores.) Illegal immigration is a very different thing, though it seems to have pretty much stopped now.

If an exponential growth of population takes an exponential amount of time, it ain’t really exponential.

Part of the problem is immigrant clusters. Localities can become unrecognizable in a short period of time, partially due to chain migration:

I agree this is a problem but such clusters don't last a generation, if that. And Indians more than other ethnic groups seem better able to disperse around the country, wherever economic opportunity takes them. I've found isolated Indian families running motels in remote parts of the West. The only identifiable Indian clusters I believe are in NJ (around Edison) and maybe San Jose (though there are a lot of other Asians there too.)

Currently, all legal immigration pipelines have gotten completely saturated (Indians and Chinese have a decade-long wait to just get permanent residency, and your consulates are being very stingy in granting even visit visas these days.) So without a massive surge in illegal immigration (impossible from anywhere now other than Mexico), any further cluster-forming is literally impossible.

They were both dead within five years though. Probably their key mistake was going after key power centres all at the same time, rather than one by one.

Perhaps Trump is a master of misdirection and sleight of hand. It does now look certain the Inspector General is doing an all encompassing investigation in to the Democrat cabal in the DoJ and FBI, so on this it is again a case of Trump playing a waiting game and throwing out distractions. The “victim mentality” benefits them – it’s good for the Jews. If they weren’t cast as oppressed people, their absurdly disproportionate representation in positions of power would be acceptable for discussion and scrutiny.

  68. Jonathan Weisman is a Jew writer for the Jew-controlled New York Times. Carlos Slim the Mexican/Lebanese billionaire also controls the New York Times.

Ashley Parker is some type of WASP or Euro-mongrel writer for the Bezos-controlled Washington post. She used to write for the New York Times.

Writers and billionaires in the WASP / Jew ruling class push for more mass legal immigration. They also push for constant amnesties for illegal alien invaders. You will not be allowed to write for the Washington Post nor the New York Times if you strongly believe in limiting legal immigration or deporting illegal alien invaders.

I once told Ashley Parker at a Jebby Bush town hall in New Hampshire that Bush was cooked as a presidential candidate because he wrote a book with Clint Bolick that called for massive increases in legal immigration and multiple amnesties for illegal alien invaders. Ashley Parker gave me a Valley Girl eye roll worthy of an Ansel Adams photograph. Monumental eye roll from Parker in skepticism of my prediction of Jebby’s demise due to immigration policy in the New Hampshire primary.

Remember to throw in the WASP tart writers when you refer to Jew scribblers who always push mass immigration and multiculturalism.

Tweet from 2015, I forgot to add the WASP tart writer angle:

  69. In light of everything that has happened the last few weeks, are they still trying to pretend Trump hates Jews?

Granted he may do more damage to the neo-cons that anyone by seemingly giving them what they want but in so doing, link the interventions in the middle east directly to Israel’s agenda rather than setting up the typical casus belli which ignores Israel and pretends it’s clearly about US interests with Israel staying very quiet in the corner as USAF does it’s thing.

It seems like they’re trying to nebulously tie all these things together to ensure people are triggered and don’t think about any of them to avoid conflict, tie them all to anti-semitism and people experience the sensation of really bad thought when thinking about any of them in isolation, making people retreat in deference rather than be a ‘bad’ person.

Part of the problem is immigrant clusters. Localities can become unrecognizable in a short period of time, partially due to chain migration:

Part of the problem is immigrant clusters.

I agree this is a problem but such clusters don’t last a generation, if that. And Indians more than other ethnic groups seem better able to disperse around the country, wherever economic opportunity takes them. I’ve found isolated Indian families running motels in remote parts of the West.

Yes, it is truly amazing how Indians, before anyone else in America, learn there is motel to be bought - excuse me, I mean economic opportunity - in Idaho and Alabama, and hurry there forthwith, making a brave pilgrimage into whitest flyover America in search of the American dream. How they survive as isolated immigrants of color (without family, friends, or other Patel financial investors) is truly the story of bravery in our time.

One of the more curious aspect of Jews and their heralded group intelligence seems to be the fact that it is missing some necessary practical aspect. It would be roughly defined as a sort of self-awareness – perhaps with genetic bottlenecks the Ashkenazim never broadly developed a sort of emotional, socially-applicable intelligence to pair with their facility for figures and pettifoggery. Do they just expect people not to notice this, like Alec Guinness in Star Wars waving his hand and telling the sentinels “we’re not the subversives you’re looking for?” (I suppose they’ve gotten lazy with precocious use of accusations of Antisemitism).

My view from dealing with Jews in both personal and professional contexts is that they vastly overestimate the premium of Jewish intelligence and consequently underestimate the intelligence of the people they’re trying to hoodwink.

They’re just not going to stop until they are stopped.

It's rare for people to give up power willingly. For a few decades now being a victim has conferred social power and privilege. When you're a victim attacking an "oppressor," there are no rules to constrain you and you can let your Id loose.

I think maybe one of the things that we're eliding when we discuss this phenomenon is that it just feels good to be righteous in anger. It's addictive. Over time it can come to define a politics. Liberals have long loved to accuse conservatives of being simple-minded and manichean - of being incapable of appreciating nuance, which to their mind is some kind of innefable quality that requires years of reading the New York Times and listening to NPR to acquire. This is yet another example of projection (materialism being another one). Liberals are often some of the least subtle, most black-and-white thinkers there are.

He proposes a unification of American Judaism around the defense of self and of others even more vulnerable: the undocumented immigrants, refugees, Muslim Americans, and black activists who have been directly targeted, not just by the tolerated Alt Right, but by the Trump White House itself.

That strikes me as exactly the wrong strategy for Jews. I think the primary reason for the “anti-semitism” of the alt-right is precisely because of hysterical Jewish opposition to even the most moderate and sensible immigration enforcement and restriction.

Personally, I never thought about Jews at all until extremely recently. I started off wondering why the media conventional wisdom on the immigration issue was so crazy.

For example, the use of the word “undocumented” – why is it wrong to expect people to follow the law? If I went to France as a tourist and just overstayed and got a job and lived there, why is it wrong for the French to say it was illegal and deport me? It’s not. And the word “nativist” – why is it wrong for the current citizens to get to decide who can come here? It’s not. That’s the definition of national sovereignty and representative government. Nobody says the Japanese have no right to decide who can come to Japan.

I was scratching my head for years, wondering if I was the one who was crazy. It was like the Emperor’s New Clothes – how the hell did this nonsense get so respectable?

Then at some point I started reading online and came across discussions of Jewish attitudes and influence regarding immigration.

I wonder how many other people traversed the same path I did – FIRST being baffled and frustrated about immigration, ONLY THEN thinking about Jews. That is, having no pre-existing feelings of animosity, or even awareness, of Jews.

Seems to me that the best approach for Jews to roll back the emerging “anti-semitism” is to acknowledge that they lost their collective mind on immigration, and acknowledge that of course the U.S. (and European countries) have the right to control immigration (like Israel does).

But it’s like they can’t help themselves from doubling down on the very thing that is causing the problem.

  79. >It’s rare for people to give up power willingly.

Even rarer for people to respond well to demands to give up power, when in reality, they have none-or at least far less than the people accusing them imply. Doubly so when the accusers are visibly more powerful and affluent than they are and clearly have no intention of subjecting their own families to what they demand of others.

Hence, mass white working/middle class hostility to upper-middle class white liberals, a contempt that is far, far more virulent than contempt for any minority, contrary to what the media says.

    >I think maybe one of the things that we’re eliding when we discuss this phenomenon is that it just feels good to be righteous in anger. It’s addictive.

So is crack. Doesn’t mean it is good for you.

Joking aside, though, I see your point and agree. The thing is that being a victim totally sucks, and identifies willingly and gleefully as such warps your mentality. Why not aspire to strength-mental, physical, and emotional-instead? Far healthier.

That's exactly what the Poles, Czechs, and Hungarians have done. Netanyahu has been all too willing to help.

That being said, a wall is unnecessary. If you eliminate the economic opportunities for illegals-meaning you target their employers for destruction, through financial ruin and imprisonment-and couple that with a denial of access to state services, including protection from the police, the majority will choose to leave or will be compelled to. Whatever remains will probably consist of the hardiest, best stock that is likely assimilate and could be considered for Americanization. Furthermore, if sanctuary cities do not see fit to obey federal mandates, then the federal government has no obligation to respect them back-and ICE should be free to cooperate with police departments, most of which would be all too happy to be unchained from their idiotic political bosses. And what will the local Democratic politicians do? Whine us to death? I somewhat doubt their constituents will be willing to risk giving up federal services just to protect the economic and political interests of plutocrats and their political puppets, and the emotional whims of the PC Mafia. Let them put their money where their mouth is as we tie access to federal money and services to the discontinuation of sanctuary city policies. If all this is done, we can easily cut a deal on DACA, and it would hardly mean anything in the long-run. Let the GOP run on economic populism and the Democrats run on some wooly headed vision of "global citizenry". The Republicans will win that battle, every single time.

I don't blame the illegals themselves-they are doing what is in their best interests-but if the whole Third World is allowed to migrate en masse to the developed world, that would just make the developed world suck as badly. We can't set the precedent that anybody can just land in the US without permission from the American government and citizenry in this 21st Century, when we will have less jobs than ever, not more. We'll never get rid of all 11 million. But that doesn't mean we should use that as an excuse for getting rid of none, as we orient our legal emigration to policy to favor high-horsepower potential startup founders and future physicists and computer scientists over the 10 millionth random half-literate campesino or "chain migrants" that happen to be related to the lucky lottery winner.

Trump's daughter converts to orthodox Judaism, Trump brings his Jewish son-in-law into the running of the presidency at the highest level imaginable, Trump decides to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, etc, etc, etc and Jewish people cry anti-Semitism because he makes tweets against Muslims and illegal aliens?

    I just don't get this.

I don’t either. My doctor, a nice Jewish man, told me he was voting for Trump not least because he was worried about all the Muslim immigration. He’d recognized what it did to Europe. 85. Washington Post writers Ashley Parker, Robert Costa and David Nakamura deliberately misrepresented the impact of the 2013 Rubio/Obama Illegal Alien Amnesty — Mass Immigration Surge bill(S 744) by stating that that immigration law would have reduced legal immigration. The Rubio/Obama immigration bill(S 744) would have tripled legal immigration and it would have given amnesty to 30 million illegal alien invaders.

Then-Speaker John Boehner killed the Rubio/Obama immigration bill in the US House in a bid to prevent a bloody civil war in the GOP over immigration. It was clear to all that the Rubio/Obama immigration bill would have dramatically increased both legal and illegal immigration. The Washington Post propaganda whores who claimed the bill(S 744) would have reduced immigration are untrustworthy scoundrels of the worst sort. Horrible creatures all three.

The Washington Post has been caught in a big, fat lie that must not stand. The Washington Post has issued a correction that clarifies, somewhat, the horrible slop that Parker, Costa and Nakamura were attempting to pass off as fact.

Washington Post vague correction of blatant propaganda lie:

CORRECTION: An earlier version of this story erroneously reported that comprehensive immigration bills in 2007 and 2013 would have lowered legal immigration levels over time. Most independent analyses found that legal immigration levels would have increased under the bills.

You want an example of societies that really deal with problematic rising anti-Semitism, go abroad to Europe right now and see how mass uncontrolled migration from the Muslim World is working out. Jesus Tapdancing Christ...

My personal opinion: these guys (by which I mean liberal elite Jews, not your dentist, our commenters, or Stephen Miller) want to feel they’re the underdogs. They were raised on stories of Jews escaping oppression and fighting oppression of others (leaving aside the other sides of those stories such as the huge rise in crime in many areas for a moment), and the thought that they are now the Hated White Oppressor bothers them. While I actually do think there’s been a rise in antisemitic hate events (though, as many have pointed out, many of those turned out to be fake), it’s not going to change the fact that dudes like Weisman don’t want to admit they’re now a member of a powerful group and on the Wrong Side of History according to intersectionality.

Let’s be honest, being Jewish isn’t really going to hurt you in 21st-century-America unless you’re trying to become an alt-right blogger. You might get a lot of nasty emails if you’re a lefty journalist, but it’s not going to keep you out of medical school or Silicon Valley (and might even help if you have the right networks). But it’s such a huge part of Weisman’s identity he has to blow up nasty emails and tweets into a whole identity. He wants to be on the side of the POCs, LGBTs, migrants, etc., not the evil white oppressors who live in trailer parks and have missing teeth and listen to country music….er, evil white oppressors who drink gin and tonics and play golf at country clubs.

There’s also probably, as many people have said, the recognition that the rising POC part of the left sees Jews as whites (even if the alt-right doesn’t) and wants to throw them out with the rest of the pale bathwater. Orne’s dictum applies here: do not call up that which you cannot put down.

Jewish people who bash Trump for anti-Semitism really bring out the autism in me.

I just don't get them at all. Are they just nuts or something? I mean, what is going on that I don't see?

Trump's daughter converts to orthodox Judaism, Trump brings his Jewish son-in-law into the running of the presidency at the highest level imaginable, Trump decides to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, etc, etc, etc and Jewish people cry anti-Semitism because he makes tweets against Muslims and illegal aliens?

    I just don't get this.

Actually, if you read the denunciations carefully, they usually don’t directly accuse Trump of antisemitism himself. Everyone knows antisemites don’t marry their daughters off to Jewish guys. (Well, Lovecraft married a Jewish girl, but the real world wasn’t HPL’s area of strength.) The usual allegation is that Trump’s nativism created the conditions to allow for an upsurge of antisemitism.

I’d actually agree with them to some degree, but I haven’t seen any crematoria being built or annoying pundits being sent there, and the country needs a steep drop in immigration and a push to assimilation. So, MAGA.

Essentially. It was Paul's great innovation to take a Jewish sect and transform to a mass religion that had a lot of appeal in a highly unequal society where a lot of people-especially women and slaves-viewed such a revolutionary sect (All are equal in the eyes of God? Female infanticide, forced abortion, and forced marriage is wrong?) with extreme interest.

One could think of it as a toned down Gentile-friendly Judaism (that in many ways made the world saner) with a proselytizing bent that eventually mixed in with the traditional Roman state under the Constantinian dynasty. Of course, there were also those-ranging from socially conservative emperors ranging from Domitian to Diocletian to Julian the Apostate, to modern philosophers and historians like Friedrich Nietzsche-who viewed it as passive-aggressive slave morality that eventually insidiously mixed in with master morality, making the world more insane. No reason there can't be a bit of truth to both.

Judaism has not been practiced for thousands of years, Talmudism is reconstructed ancient Semitic tribalism, and Christism is an attempt to salvage Levantine moral philosophy by rejecting tribalism. Mohammadism, Mormonism and Hubbardism are attempts to "make good" tribalism by doubling down on all its worst features while conditionally opening the tribe to outsiders, so that ultimately there will be none of the negative aspects of tribalism, because we will all be in the same tribe. Hence it is "merciful" to abuse and murder non-Muslims: you are incentivizing conversion, and once they convert, they will theoretically be out of harm's way.

My understanding is that kinky sex within marriage is not opposed by most religions. So, why not?

Seriously, I read that article, and you can totally get how feminists get really annoyed every time men start to sleep around. I wouldn’t make it all into a ‘feminists hate beta men’ thing…they hate alpha men too, they just can’t help sleeping with them (the heterosexual ones) because, well, human nature. (Check out Jessica Valenti’s memoir where she describes the guys she sleeps with as 6’3″ and blond.)

Basically, it proceeds from the premise that only women matter. If a woman divorces a guy and collects half his salary in alimony, then spends it all on coke and shoes, and gets thrown out of her apartment because he is late with the alimony check, it is an example of male oppression of women.

While I agree with your comment, I’d also add that this is an article about sexual matters in 21st Century America… in Vanity Fair, to boot. It’s safe to say that the amount of people participating in such parties and how often is probably rather exaggerated and fetishized, much like college sex is.

(Or who come from cultures-like East Asian ones-where male “alphaness” is associated with having the biggest brains, rather than brawn or social brashness and slickness.)

Call it chain migration or family-based migration or family reunification. Call it whatever the hell you want. No matter what you call it what it means is that Americans whose ancestors have lived here for centuries, whose ancestors came here when this place was nothing but an empty wilderness, who fought in the Revolutionary War and World War II, have less say over who gets to immigrate here than someone who arrived here just a few years ago - who can sponsor their parents, siblings, and arranged marriage spouses.

If these people couldn't bear to part from their families then they shouldn't have come here at all. Absent chain migration they still have these things called email, snail mail, UPS, FedEx, Facetime, and the commercial airline industry to use as ways to keep in touch with their family abroad - the same technology used by hundreds of millions of Americans to keep in touch with other family members who live in other parts of the country.

The only way to stop chain migration is to stop parents and siblings from being sponsored for visas/green cards. Foreign spouses who have never set foot on America should also be banned. South Asians and Muslims are particularly into this practice of arranged marriage. It’s how so many Pakistanis got into the UK, by marrying their cousins. I say deny all such visa applications. They can move back to the motherland if they insist on marrying someone from the motherland.

Well... as one of his detractors, I have to say, I expect the editors of the New York Times to be a bunch of guys exactly like him.

    Well spotted.

I suppose acknowledging that reality is complicated and grey and that most people don't fit entirely into those two neat little boxes is out of the question?

Liberals have long loved to accuse conservatives of being simple-minded and manichean – of being incapable of appreciating nuance, which to their mind is some kind of innefable quality that requires years of reading the New York Times and listening to NPR to acquire. This is yet another example of projection (materialism being another one). Liberals are often some of the least subtle, most black-and-white thinkers there are.

  102. This revisionism over terminology is silly, of course, but here’s a reality check on how long it actually takes for these chains to form: https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2017/12/29/16504272/chain-migration-family-how-trump-end

If an exponential growth of population takes an exponential amount of time, it ain’t really exponential. Your hard annual quotas on immigrants poses a natural barrier to actual chain migration (the kind that brought the ancestors of most of the commenters on this blog to American shores.) Illegal immigration is a very different thing, though it seems to have pretty much stopped now.

Do we need immigrants to fight Indians, tame the wilderness, or otherwise do the heavy lifting of conquering a Continent? No. Brits and a sprinkling of NW Euros did that already. So we no more need those things our ancestors did than we need another Revolutionary War. Actually we could use another Revolutionary War but non-Whites are the last people to help us fight it.

I think people like him simply believe that all these “reasons” that so-called “anti-semites” give are just a cover for their underlying, primordial Jew-hatred that hyper-Jews like this Weisman suspect lurk in every goy’s heart. Triple parentheses have been an alt-right punctuation mark to indicate Jewishness, like the pronouns "he", "she", and "xe" indicate male, female, and trans gender, respectively. That Jews are adopting this punctuation themselves is an encouraging sign. It's kind of like how Americans in the 1770's adopted the pejorative "Yankee" and turned it into a meliorative.

Jews push for open borders because they think multicultural societies are "safer" for Jews. Except not only will open borders bring in the Muslim horde who are the real anti-semites of the 21st century, but they've also made the gentiles really upset with them for their treason.

So we are back to Square One: Nobody likes the Jews.

And as has happened throughout history, they did this to themselves.

“Jews push for open borders because they think multicultural societies are “safer” for Jews. ”

Jews push for open borders (among other deleterious social policies) because they think that these policies are more lucrative for the Jews. If they really think like you hypothecize, then they are simply delusional.

    There, fixed that for you.

As journalists write about immigration policy, we need to take care not to slip into these loaded phrases. For decades, “chain migration” was known as “family-based migration system,"..........

Sure it was. And "chain smoking" used to be known as "pack-based inhalation system".

As a former heavy smoker, I’ll have you know that I resemble that.

    Some observations from Silicon Valley:

    1) When I read the article, a video advertisement with Mark Cuban popped up. Not sure if that was intentional.

    2) Having seen the girlfriends of both successful and wannabe founders, I’m guessing the <30yo women at these parties are 6's who think this is the life LA super models live.

Yes. I had never considered before that native Americans don’t have the right to sponsor immigrants that new immigrants have. Another crap aspect of all this.

Change language and you change how people think.

Pro-immigration groups have previously succeeded in eliminating broad usage of the term “illegal immigrant”, then “amnesty”. Now “chain migration” is the next targeted vocabulary:

To assist the amnesty push planned for 2001 by President George W. Bush and Mexico’s President Vicente Fox, the National Council of La Raza conducted focus groups on the best terminology to use. They found that the word “amnesty” should be avoided.

This campaign was successful in “controversializing” the previously unremarkable word “amnesty” and getting pro-amnesty politicians and media to chastise those who used it. The same campaign is now underway regarding the term “chain migration.”

  120. Jews feel comfortable spewing their hate of white people (and all the nonsense associated with the narratives) openly on Twitter because they are so close to winning and social and mainstream media take direction from Jewish anti white watchdog groups like ADL and Splc. So, don’t notice goys! Jews are now just trying to eradicate the remaining rebels.

Soon Jews will achieve their dream of turning the U.S. into South Africa NW with whites as a persecuted minority. They have gotten so used to winning every battle and being worshipped by their enemies (especially conservative Inc and evangelicals) that they feel entitled to unquestioning loyalty. They are furious that they aren’t getting it and are faced with some uppity goys (e.g., Trump, The Donald) who may still worship Jews and Israel but aren’t ethno masochist like the Jews have trained them to be.

There is no downside to letting the goys know Jews’ real feelings because most goys have been trained not to notice and if they openly notice they will be banned and/or fired. Or, not re-elected (at least that is the plan).

OT: Some major iSteve fodder here:

“Oh My God, This Is So F---ed Up”: Inside Silicon Valley’s Secretive, Orgiastic Dark Side
Some of the most powerful men in Silicon Valley are regulars at exclusive, drug-fueled, sex-laced parties—gatherings they describe not as scandalous, or even secret, but as a bold, unconventional lifestyle choice. Yet, while the guys get laid, the women get screwed. In an adaptation from her new book, Brotopia, Emily Chang exposes the tired and toxic dynamic at play.

    https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2018/01/brotopia-silicon-valley-secretive-orgiastic-inner-sanctum

    Here’s an interesting excerpt.

Another female entrepreneur described the unfair power dynamic that’s created. “There is this undercurrent of a feeling like you’re prostituting yourself in order to get ahead because, let’s be real, if you’re dating someone powerful, it can open doors for you.

Sounds like Weinstein’s casting couch. Except that the women involved are tech entrepreneurs, not actresses/models.

I wonder whether now that Jews have ascended to the formal heights of institutional power (rather than directing affairs from the shadows) if some of this isn't annoyance that the goyim don't recognize their obvious superiority and respect the authority of their offices. Sort of like a "now we've arrived after toiling in the shadows and you owe us" sort of thing. By "owe us" of course I mean to behave passively while the Jews rule and implement their schemes.

As someone with a background in theoretical physics, I strongly admire Jewish achievements in history. But I'm confess that the inability of many liberal American Jews to psychologically escape the victim mentality is extraordinarily tiresome.

    >He proposes a unification of American Judaism around the defense of self and of others even more vulnerable: the undocumented immigrants, refugees, Muslim Americans, and black activists who have been directly targeted, not just by the tolerated Alt Right, but by the Trump White House itself.

You want an example of societies that really deal with problematic rising anti-Semitism, go abroad to Europe right now and see how mass uncontrolled migration from the Muslim World is working out. Jesus Tapdancing Christ...

Yes, there are real “anti-Semites,” irrational Jew-haters who blame the Jews for almost everything. But they have no power and influence, other than commenting, anonymously, on a few “aft-right” websites. “A political structure that has so suddenly become tolerant of their views.” What “political structure, the Republican Party, the Trump administration?! But paranoid Jews like Weisman read such comments and envision the rise of a Nazi-like regime and perhaps a second Holocaust. Trump as Hitler! They’re psychotic.

To Weisman and myriads of other Jews and white gentiles, “anti-Semitism” is telling the truth about Jewish power and influence, vastly disproportional given that Jews are a tiny fraction of the population, and criticizing and opposing the Jewish elites and their agendum and zeitgeist as largely and essentially malevolent: e.g., the “neoconservative” and “neoliberal” invade-the-word/invite-the-world ideology, disastrous wars to advance the interests of Israel and promote democracy while supporting an invasion of nonwhite aliens from the Third-world that will soon transform the U.S. into a nonwhite-majority country, and much else.

Similarly, “racism” is telling the truth about average black IQ, pandemic criminality, black-on-white violence, illegitimacy, etc., and politically-incorrect and heterodox criticism of blacks as a group and as individuals. Such honesty and realism is now decried and vilified and censored and suppressed. And, in the future, perhaps the near future, truth-telling abut Jews, blacks, “Hispanics,’ and Muslims will be criminalized. European “hate-speech” laws are ineluctable, and perhaps imminent.

  130. “Family-based migration” must have been JournoList’ed.

His counterpart Laura Meckler of The Wall Street Journal was talking about immigration on C-SPAN Wednesday morning, January 3:

    >>…Trump ran for election not just promising to cut back on illegal immigration but also legal immigration. So he’s talked about doing things like getting rid of the diversity lottery, which allows 50,000 people from underrepresented parts of the world to come here.

    >>Something that Republicans are sort of derisively calling chain migration, which is, was, has long been known as family-based migration, whereby, if you’re a citizen or green card holder in this country, you can sponsor family members to come to the U.S. So, whether we should make a tighter definition of family. Those are some of the things on the table.

She stumbles pretty bad as she’s trying to get out “is, was, has long been known.” The body language lady on YouTube would have fun with that.

    Begins around 4:30.

You want an example of societies that really deal with problematic rising anti-Semitism, go abroad to Europe right now and see how mass uncontrolled migration from the Muslim World is working out. Jesus Tapdancing Christ...

    Coalition of the parasites!

Again, i have no problem with Weisman and all the “liberal” Jews who think like this or Stephens, Rubin and all the “conservative” Jews who skip the “vulnerability chic” and just want to dispossess goyim having *their own* multiculti Lennonist imaginatopia.

Honestly, i’m on board. Let’s have a vote, find where the various multi-culti types live and don’t, shuffle around the population and split up. (It would be nice to do this for the whole Western world at once and pack them and their various brown and muzzie pets into one place, one “nation”–i.e. blob of territory ruled by a state, it would not be nation–so the rest of us could resume normal life.)

But this is absolutely positively not what these Jews want. What they care about is not the multiculti multitudes, it’s dispossessing and screwing the goyim. Making the goyim support parasites. Turning the goyim into serfs.

Seriously, what is wrong with these people?

Nothing wrong. Or at least it’s the same thing that has been “wrong” for 2000 years.

And in fact in the last generation–and particularly the last ten years–are so comfortably in that position that they feel completely at ease publicly articulating their to dispossess the goyim and turn them into serfs.

This is is just an extended rant for female-privilege wrapped around the sex party hook.

–> Irritation that these rich nerd guys are sleeping around “catching up”, rather than putting a ring on it and giving women their money. (Foolishly most of them end up doing that eventually anyway.)

–> Irritation that young women can’t necessarily sleep their way to top.

–> Irritation that women can get a sexual rep from their sexual behavior. (Only guys should be labelled players for being immature players. Sluts shouldn’t be labelled sluts.)

–> Irritation that men are off somewhere sometimes doing something–and sometimes discussing business!–without women (or the women who want to be there) being around. Damn guys out there thinking up stuff and building stuff without including us! (Reminder of the NYTs Augusta tirade of a few years back.)

These damn silicon valley men are cheating women …. not giving us enough stuff!

This attitude explains lachrymose Jewish history a lot better than “mystical eternal antisemitism” does.

(Well, Lovecraft married a Jewish girl, but the real world wasn’t HPL’s area of strength.)

Not to mention the fact that a large percentage of Lovecraft's closest friends were Jewish: Samuel Loveman, Kenneth Sterling, Henry Kuttner, Robert Bloch, etc

I think people like him simply believe that all these “reasons” that so-called “anti-semites” give are just a cover for their underlying, primordial Jew-hatred that hyper-Jews like this Weisman suspect lurk in every goy’s heart. In his mind, it’s not really about typical Jewish stances on immigration, multiculturalism and other forms of anti-white activism; it’s because people just hate Jews.

The ethnic narcissist's modus operandi; criticism is ipso facto invalid.

I used to wonder why lots of white Swedish chicks prefer procreating with third World trash. Now, I no longer ask that question. Those women are doing what young women mostly always do…. grabbing the number-of-descendents, evolutionary-ily more valuable sperm.

Confused balderdash that cites nothing because it can't.

Basically, my theory is that there are a lot fewer dissenters than you want to believe. The way you act is just the way you are. It’s the weirdest thing. I don’t doubt for a minute that you people are smart. But you’re locked into this weird pattern of behavior and you just can’t stop. You’re like robots or strange mythological creatures, doing the same thing over and over, for centuries now.

Generally speaking, Jews have as hard a time finding outlets to express their political opinions as Blacks have finding basketball courts. There just aren't many dissenters.

I wonder whether now that Jews have ascended to the formal heights of institutional power (rather than directing affairs from the shadows) if some of this isn’t annoyance that the goyim don’t recognize their obvious superiority and respect the authority of their offices. Sort of like a “now we’ve arrived after toiling in the shadows and you owe us” sort of thing. By “owe us” of course I mean to behave passively while the Jews rule and implement their schemes.

  137. What needs to be hammered home is that it’s not “Anti-Semitism”
    It’s Counter-Semitism.

The problem lies in the Semitism practised by, who’d have thought it, the Semites.

See, this is a very serious problem.

One can just make up stuff and there are no serious consequences of doing so.

  139. @Numinous

Part of the problem is immigrant clusters.

@68 Numinous (i.e. self-image of a self-described “wheatish” complected Indian): ” And Indians more than other ethnic groups seem better able to disperse around the country, wherever economic opportunity takes them. I’ve found isolated Indian families running motels in remote parts of the West. ”

Yes, it is truly amazing how Indians, before anyone else in America, learn there is motel to be bought – excuse me, I mean economic opportunity – in Idaho and Alabama, and hurry there forthwith, making a brave pilgrimage into whitest flyover America in search of the American dream. How they survive as isolated immigrants of color (without family, friends, or other Patel financial investors) is truly the story of bravery in our time.
