From the New York Times opinion page:

Black Women in Chicago, Getting Things Done
How the rest of the country can follow them.

A demonstrator blocking an intersection in 2015 after the shooting of Laquan McDonald in Chicago.

Well those demonstrators certainly got things done in Chicago in 2016, as measured in incremental numbers of dead bodies of blacks murdered by other blacks. The total number of homicides in Chicago increased from 512 in 2015 to 808 in 2016.

On Monday, Chicago will make history when Lori Lightfoot becomes the city’s first black female mayor. This victory sits alongside other firsts: her recent runoff against Toni Preckwinkle, a black woman and the president of the Cook County Board of Commissioners, and the 2016 election of Kim Foxx, a black woman, as the city’s top prosecutor.

When did we hear the name of Kim Foxx recently? Hmmhmmh, for some reason, the NYT op-ed doesn’t mention her recent foray into the national news. In contrast, iSteve has not stinted in 2019 on Kim Foxx Coverage:

Kim Foxx: I Let Jussie Walk Not Just for Reasons, But for a Variety of Reasons, Which, Sadly, I’m Not at Liberty to Tell You

In other news, the New York Times is changing its slogan from “All the News that’s Fit to Print” to “Yass Kweeeeennnnnn!”

Rube Goldberg also got “things done”.

  2. Will the slogan be changed to “Slaaaay Qweeeen”?

I wonder if non-leftists ever really read it and why.

  4. Kim Foxx, Marilyn Mosby, Catherine Pugh, Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, black women leadership at it’s best. Add a name or two.

Is this a puff piece so Kim Foxx can get into national politics … or future Chicago mayoral politics? In that case, never let the country (or the state of Illinois) forget what she did with Jussie Smollet. It was the very definition of favoritism and dishonesty.

I read about some black guys complaining that Lori Lightfoot doesn’t like heterosexual black men.

Way back before most of us were born, Bridgeport, Connecticut was actually a reasonably civilized town full of Americans. Now it’s just another ‘urban’ multicultural p!$$hole circling the drain.

Ok, I’m wondering if this rama-lama-dingdong name is pronounced sa-la’-mē-sha or sal’-a-mish-a. My money is on the latter.
Reminds me of a name my sister encountered at her business: Shithead. Pronounced sha-theed’, of course.
    No shit.

The Ballpark at Harbor Yard was paid for by a company I worked for in 1995. It was a tax abatement bribe on what was going to be the company’s new HQ in Bridgeport.

We’d already committed to spending $50mm on land, architects and relocation packages (and the ballpark) when the Big Cheese from Switzerland took a limo ride from Manhattan to Bridgeport. I’m told he hadn’t gotten to the bottom of the exit ramp before he told the driver to go back, and his fellow passengers that the company would remain in NYC.

You could add Teresa Deloach Reed, the Oakland, CA Fire Chief making nearly $156,000 per year before “retiring” after a fire broke out in a warehouse that had not been inspected in 30 years. The fire killed 36 people.

At the scene, there was also a “brave,” female fire battalion chief of unspecified race. Film footage shows that firefighters did not attempt to save anyone in any way for a full 15 minutes, as the 36 citizens of CA were burning alive.

Advocates for America’s glorified “working families” might point out that the fire victims didn’t have kids, nor were they affluent citizens, with moneyed lives regarded as valuable even without kids to elevate their worth as human beings.

Feminists point out that women are as physically strong as men and as likely to respond with valor, risking their own lives to save people on battlefields or in highly dangerous, highly scary situations like blazing buildings.

Descriptions of the dead mention bachelor’s degrees, even advanced degrees in a few cases, and jobs with wages insufficient to cover rent. Many of them were not just attending a party in this warehouse. They were living in this warehouse, with many visible signs of this activity, due to housing costs that are unaffordable-cubed in CA.

Advocates for America’s “working families”—a group of citizens, legal and illegal immigrants receiving an enormous volume of unearned income from government to prop up “independent” households for super-impractical people who irresponsibly had far more children than they could afford to support on earned income—point out that these fire victims were just “members of the arts community,” suggesting that they chose an impractical route in life that led to the danger.

Rent often takes more than half of monthly pay, no matter where you live in the USA, particularly when you lack a spousal income or multi layers of monthly welfare and refundable child tax credits up to $6,431 in a single-breadwinner household with US-born kids. Welfare-eligible single breadwinners only work part time to stay under the earned-income limits for welfare programs that offer monthly cash assistance and that cover every major monthly bill from food, to rent, to electricity.

Single, childless Ghost Shippers had earned-only income to cover rent and all other bills.

Many single moms work part time, officially, to stay under the earned-income limits for welfare programs. Then there are America’s many unofficial, part-time workers in the many cronyist, voted-best-for-moms, family-friendly, absenteeism-friendly jobs in corporate offices and the crony-parent majority-minority jobs in the world of government work.

White Ghost Shippers with no birth-canal exits didn’t have much of a chance at getting and retaining a family-friendly, absenteeism-friendly government job, with regular, safe and high wages sufficient to cover rent, even if they had been willing to work hard—all day, everyday, with no long absenteeism jaunts for the kiddos.

When this happened, I looked up CA building inspector salaries, finding out that they get paid close to $70k, whereas I made $25k in my short-lived government job, a job that required a degree. I bet there are quite a few women—moms in particular since they dominate goverment jobs—who hold jobs as building inspectors, retaining the jobs while keeping family-friendly, absenteeism-friendly hours.

Moms, especially, are nearly above firing in corporate and government jobs. But when you take off whole days, whole weeks, whole mornings and whole afternoons for the kiddos, in addition to your PTO and preggie leave, it leaves little time for building inspections that prevent mega-deadly fires.

Someone owned this building. If the owner knew about it, you have to empathize. Anyone who tried to help CA’s voluminous homeless population by letting them live in an empty building had moral motivations, albeit “authorities” are blaming this killer fire on a couple of arty, scruffy looking, non-affluent guys who were illegally living there and sub-leasing space for the homeless to live there.

The guys they are pinning the entire blame for fire on lived in the warehouse, too, so they don’t have money, making it easy to blame everything on them.

So, government employees are paid $156,000 per year to commandeer fire “protection” services. There’s no telling what the top building inspectors are paid since the underlings get paid nearly $70,000 per year.

Yet, this fire was all the fault of two unconventional-looking guys who are easy to shift blame onto since the public will not emphasize with them due to their lack of money. The best thing those guys could do is to parade around any kids they’ve produced, whether or not they have custody. That way, they might be seen as human beings. Womb-productive sex increases your humanity exponentially.

Ask the 36 childless citizens of CA who died with no intervention from firefighters in the Ghost Ship.

This is a good example of the work quality of America’s “moral,” “hardworking,” non-conniving, non-cutthroat “working” families. Another good example is the recent fire in CA that killed a ton of elderly people, living in a retirement community. Of course, after a certain age, they couldn’t keep pumping out kids to pump up their humanity level.

Black women have the whip hand now. Pretty much a slam dunk that Kamala Harris wins the nomination and election. She’s the next President.

That’s obvious if you think how “American Democracy” actually works. A bunch of power brokers get together, fund the consensus candidate, create astroturf organizations, give media whores their instructions, and you get: Jimmy Carter, George HW Bush, Bill Clinton, George W Bush, Barack Obama. Sometimes they get sloppy and lazy, or arrogant, but for the most part this is how Democracy works in the US and the West.

White women, gays, all want to be ruled by “sassy” Black women who “oh no you did-ent” a lot and have eye rolling and neck snapping “sassiness.” This matters as the elite leadership is not made up of men like Dwight D. Eisenhower, or even Norman Schwartzkopf, but Jack Dorsey, Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, and Jeff Bezos.

Look at Bezos — for all his billions he’s pathetic. He gets less in a woman than your average drug dealer or outlaw biker, and like the above men he’s soft and craving female approval which was denied him his entire life. So whatever gays and White women want — our soft and soy boy orbiters are desperate to approve.

[The only hope is the HATE HATE HATE that the Coastal Elite have for Deplorables. Stephen Colbert had a cold open mocking farmers who voted for Trump as cucked losers who need to die already. At a time when there is ample opportunity to pick off the farm vote by Democrats they are insuring they feed their animus against flyover Whites instead of coalition building. This suggest that anti-White hate hate hate is only going to get stronger as the elite engage in feminine feelz]

Between the op-ed writers at the legacy-journalism dinosaurs, and high-ranking figureheads and spokespeople in seemingly every walk of life that fears being somehow smeared as racist by the predatory Left, I am now used to – in fact, expectant of – unpronounceable names of surpassing foreign-ness. Naturally, it’s now perfectly accepted for woke wogs to sharply reprimand and even shout abuse at you for having the supremacist temerity to fuck up “Rajasekhar Bhawasingka”, clearly on purpose.

I shrug my shoulders: it’s just another reminder – like the pitiless drip-drip-drip of a leaky bathroom faucet – that this is no longer my, or any other white European’s, country. Not any longer.

Jim Don, I imagine almost everyone has a funny funny name story. There’s so much material with which to work.
I thought “ze” was a typo until I saw “zer”.
    Hmmm, better look it up.

    Wiktionary › wiki › ze
One refers to a person with ze and hir or zir typically (a) when their gender is unknown, and one wishes to avoid assuming their gender, or (b) when they are neither male nor female in gender, making he and she (and also either/or terms like s/he or (s)he) inappropriate and potentially hurtful.

Apparently, there’s something going on that I don’t know a whole lot about. And I really don’t have the time or neurons to waste on knowing about it.
