From the Ventura County Star:

Sentencing date set for Santa Paula man accused in Russian election meddling case

Megan Diskin, Ventura County Star Published 11:01 a.m. PT July 12, 2018

Santa Paula resident Richard Pinedo pleaded guilty to identity fraud in an operation that authorities say helped Russian efforts to influence the U.S. presidential election.

Sentencing has been scheduled in October for the Santa Paula man who pleaded guilty to unknowingly helping the Russians meddle in the 2016 presidential election.

Santa Paula, CA is an 80% Hispanic farm town perhaps best known for the David Spade movie Joe Dirt being filmed there.

Richard Pinedo, 28, is expected to be sentenced at 10 a.m. Oct. 1 in U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, according to a court order signed July 2 by Judge Dabney L. Friedrich.

Pinedo faces a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison and a $250,000 fine in connection with his February plea, which was part of an agreement with federal prosecutors.

Richard Pinedo is a former sales associate at LA Fitness who has an Associate’s degree from Ventura Junior College in computer science, which he put to use in an identify theft business that earned him “tens of thousands of dollars.”

Putin only employs crack Mission Impossible caliber operatives, evidently.

… The Santa Paula man was swept up in the ongoing investigation led by Special Counsel Robert Mueller. …

Hundreds of pieces of bank account information were used, and Pinedo allegedly collected tens of thousands of dollars through the sale of the accounts. Court documents state that the sales took place from 2014 through November 2017, which coincides with Russia’s larger alleged plot.

Commenter Achilles adds:

This being 2018 there is actually an internet site where customers of Ricky Pinedo’s “auction essistance” fake bank accounts posted reviews of Ricky’s performance for prospective customers to read.

https://www.sitejabber.com/reviews/auctionessistance.com

Ricky actually gets better reviews than his main competitor, openvcc, where reviewers seem justifiably angered that it is a complete scam and that the only positive reviews are probably by the guy selling the fake bank accounts.

Had poor Ricky not found himself in the path of the GET TRUMP steamroller he likely could have continued on for quite some time supplying fake bank accounts to those in need of getting access to PayPal and online auction sites such as illegals or jihadis or cartel runners or people with bank violations that cannot get a bank to open an account for them.

Donald Trump did not announce his candidacy until June 16, 2015; he was elected on November 8, 2016. Other than that, the nearly four-year period of the defendant’s illegal business activity— which I believe ended just when it did precisely because he was indicted— matches up almost exactly with the diabolical Russian plot to elect Donald Trump as the 45th President of the United States.

Of course it’s obvious, and it isn’t doing anything to help those who are doing it.

The timing, right after Strozk’s testimony, and right before Trump’s meeting with Putin, cannot be interpreted as anything but deliberate.

Rosenstein the Rat is now an obvious tool of the Deep State, if he wasn’t already obvious before.

A single Russian hacker commits identity theft and financial fraud worth “tens of thousands of dollars”. This warrants a federal investigation.

Millions of Mexican immigrants commit identity theft, each consuming benefits worth “tens of thousands of dollars” per year. They are lauded as heroes by several administrations, spanning the aisle.

I never understood why anyone ever trusted the intelligence agencies.

In the run up to the Iraq War, George Bush referenced a document that demonstrated Iraq was attempting to buy nuclear weapons-grade uranium from Africa. The document also supposedly demonstrated Iraq had trained one of the 9/11 terrorist masterminds. It later turned out that the document was forged by the CIA and the Whitehouse.

Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Ron Suskind recorded a very senior-level CIA official admitting that the CIA was involved in the forgery. Phillip Giraldi (a former CIA officer who frequently writes for Unz.com) confirmed this allegation.

CIA agent E. Howard Hunt confessed, on his deathbed, to having been involved in the JFK assassination. He described the roles that he and other CIA officers played in the assassination.

Recently declassified documents show that back in the 1960s, the CIA planned to conduct “acts of terrorism” on U.S. cities and military assets. The CIA then planned to blame the terrorist attacks on Cuba, which would’ve justified an invasion. This plan (“Operation Northwoods”) never happened because President Kennedy came out strongly against it.

Then there was the 1980 October surprise. During the 1980 presidential election, Governor Ronald Reagan and HW Bush (with the assistance of the CIA) secretly negotiated with Iran to delay the release of the American hostages being held by Iranian militants. Jimmy Carter ended up losing the 1980 election, mostly due to his inability to secure the release of the hostages. Minutes after the newly elected Reagan finished his inaugural address and assumed the presidency, Iran released the hostages back home to America. The Reagan administration (with the assistance of the CIA and Israel) then illegally provided arms to Iran, without informing the public or Congress. Google “Iran-Contra” to learn more.

Remember the 1990 Gulf War with Iraq? President HW Bush (who was the former CIA director) claimed that Iraq was murdering Kuwaiti babies in their incubators. A Kuwaiti girl then testified in front of Congress, claiming that she witnessed Iraqi soldiers killing Kuwaiti babies. It later turned out that no incubator babies were killed at all. It also was later revealed that the Kuwaiti girl (who testified) was the daughter of the Kuwaiti ambassador.

Following the lie about the incubator babies, public support skyrocketed in favor of a war with Iraq. That laid the foundation for the Gulf War. So basically the entire Gulf War was sold on a lie, just like our 2003 Iraq War. Both Iraq wars started by men with the surname of “Bush.” Hmmm……….

The U.S. NSA (National Security Agency) has a surveillance program that gathered extensive secret intel on many prominent American politicians and officials. According to U.S. govt intelligence agent Russell Tice, the NSA spied on companies, financial institutions, Barack Obama (who was a Senatorial candidate at the time), Supreme Court Justice Alito, General Petraeus, Congressmen, lawyers, and various other prominent individuals. The NSA surveillance program was administed by Vice President Cheney.

Nowadays we are routinely treated to lectures that claim that the invaders are the only thing keeping “muh pensions” funded. Don’t knock this narrative, it worked in France and Germany, and we’ve seen the public become much more sympathetic to invasion now that the economy is “good” (Is YT’s TFR at 3+, if not then the economy is bad)

I salute Ricky Pinedo, Free Market Hero:

Go ahead make fun of the little guy, but isn’t it the responsibility of fancy types like the Fed, Treasury, Secret Service, fill in the blank department to figure this stuff out?

“That indictment alleges that the defendants used social security numbers and dates of birth belonging to real U.S. citizens without those people knowing, to open accounts on PayPal, an online payments system. The public court documents against the Russians and Pinedo do not reference each other, but the website for Pinedo’s Auction Essistance said it helps people open PayPal accounts.”

Mr Pinedo was entrapped by Fed Gov:

In order to facilitate illegal aliens working in the US and paying payroll tax Fed gov makes no attempt to investigate when SS numbers are used in incompatible ways. So someone in a hospice in one state is working as a landscaper in another. It is impossible for you to check your own SS records easily. So I say Mr Pinedo was entrapped by the US gov which was creating and encouraging this activity.

Mr Pinedo is doing the Federal Reserve and Treasury’s job.

I know some really down on their luck types that because of screwed up divorces and other stuff can’t have normal banking. That means no CC. That means stuff like paying tolls electronically and selling/buying cheap stuff on eBay impossible for them. So Mr Pinedo might be helping actual Americans deserted by Fed Gov. There was a time the Fed Gov actually made free check clearing a priority. How is it that sending a bit of paper with magnetic lettering is free but a CC is not?

Do the Mueller 12 even exist?

BTW, are there any pictures of the 12 Russian super spies? Do they even exist? How do they know the identity of Russian Super Spies? Maybe the Russian Super Spies are using other Russians’ identities. Oh wait, I bet the Tsarist Dept of the Interior makes it impossible to buy a Russian identity on the internet, so those names must be those of real Russian Super Spies.

JW123 has a pretty good list of probable/likely Deep State Operations, but I’d like to add one more: the U-2 shootdown in May of 1960 over the USSR on the eve of the Khrushchev/Eisenhower summit.

The shootdown and the ensuing flak wrecked the summit (Ike was caught following the “weather reconnaissance stray flight” cover story/lie when Gary Powers turned up alive in Soviet hands).

Eisenhower believed there was a very good chance the upcoming summit might have ended the Cold War right there and then in 1960, and he hoped to make it his crowning foreign policy achievement.

Instead, the U-2 incident was a huge embarrassment for him personally and professionally.

To this day, the precise reason for that flight at that time over that route – not to mention how in the world the Soviets managed to track and shoot down a U-2 at 75,000 feet – has defied easy analysis by mainstream historians, including Michael Beschloss. No one has shown that the potential gains from the flight outweighed the potential risks. This isn’t hindsight – Eisenhower was very, very concerned with anything that could derail the planned summit.

    This did.

(Incidentally, the CIA’s codename for this particular U-2 flight was “Operation Grand Slam“, which was also the name of “Auric Goldfinger’s” nefarious plot – using high flying Honor Blackman – to nuke Fort Knox in the James Bond movie!)

In notes and conversations with his son Saint John, and in an audiotape he created in 2004 to be played after his death, Hunt described being invited into the “big event” at a Miami safehouse in 1963. Others named in the plot:

Frank Sturgis, an anti-Castro paramilitary closely associated with Hunt. Sturgis was one of the Watergate burglars.
David Morales, Chief of Operations at the CIA’s JMWAVE station in Miami. Morales himself told a few close associates of his involvement.
David Phillips, CIA propaganda specialist and later Chief of Western Hemisphere Division. Phillips was assigned to Mexico City during the mysterious trip of Lee Harvey Oswald, or someone using his name, to that city in the fall of 1963.
Antonio Veciana, Cuban exile leader of Alpha 66. Veciana told the HSCA that a “Maurice Bishop,” thought by many to be Phillips, pointed out Lee Harvey Oswald to him.
William Harvey, a CIA officer who ran the ZR/RIFLE “executive action” program. Harvey fell out of favor with the Kennedys when he sent sabotage teams into Cuba during the 1962 Missile Crisis.
Cord Meyer, a high-level CIA officer whose ex-wife Mary Meyer was having an affair with JFK.

The e-mails that Candidate Trump famously asked Russia to help find were the missing ones that had been on Hillary Rodham Clinton’s infamously private server, but erased by her staff as “personal.” That server’s hard drive had been notoriously erased and “bleached” by her staff, long before Trump’s publicly facetious request to the Russians had been made; by the latter point in time, the server itself no longer existed on line, as such, since it long since had been turned over to the F.B.I. crime lab. Since the DNC e-mails that actually were leaked by Wikileaks, et al., during the 2016 presidential campaign, came from an insider who had legitimate access to them, as has been repeatedly attested to by Julian Assange and others, whether those e-mails also were subject to any hacks, from Russia or elsewhere, is utterly beside the point, in terms of their influencing the 2016 presidential election.
