Via Google Translate from SWR Aktuell in Germany:

riot and sexual assaults

At a Volksfest in Schorndorf (Rems-Murr-Kreis) there were riots and sexual assaults at the weekend. It was also dangerous for the police.

Schorndorf is a city of about 40,000 in southern Germany.

… In the night of Sunday, according to the police, between 8 pm in the evening and 3 am in the night, up to 1,000 young people gathered in the castle grounds of the city and rampaged. “A large part of these were people with an immigration background,” the announcement said. When the police entered, the officers were thrown with bottles.

When a suspect was arrested for dangerous bodily harm and refused to arrest, many people solidified with him. According to the police, a large number of officials with protective equipment had to shield the arrest to prevent an attack. When the forces were withdrawn, they were thrown again with bottles.

In the course of the night several groups with about 30 to 50 people will be drawn through the city center. According to testimonies, individual persons were armed with knives. …

During the night, the police had requested additional personnel from surrounding counties to be better prepared in the next few nights of the Volksfest.

  2. I’m not sure the comparison with Cologne will hold, the number of sex assaults seems to have been limited and less serious than at Cologne (btw groping, molestation etc. by groups of asylum seekers has happened several times at festivals since Cologne, but usually those incidents are buried in local newspapers).
But 1000 migrants rampaging around and banding together to prevent arrest of one of their own? Wow, talk about loss of control… Such incidents could be well regarded as deliberate probing of what they can get away with, and as demonstrations of their collective power.
Will be interesting to see if this makes major news in Germany and if additional details will emerge. I doubt it.

This is also a self-selecting group of people, in that they had to go through a major set of gauntlets to make it to Germany. The strong and aggressive made it – the weaker ones did not.

Those certain rules Germans are supposed to play by, I assume, include not rioting nor assaulting women. The point of the story seems to be that immigrants don't, and needn't, play by those rules. American cops are quite friendly, too, if you don't mouth off to them. It would be peachy that Germany is getting the Darwinian cream of these militant assholes. But it's not.

This is why I don’t buy the libertarian claptrap about the evils of supposedly “militarized” police in the U.S. Yea it would be real nice if we lived in a high-trust, homogeneous society in which jackbooted thugs in SWAT uniforms didn’t shoot people’s dogs on a whim. As improbable as it would have seemed only two years ago, Merkel is providing the late, unlamented AH with stiff competition for the title of most destructive leader in Germany’s unhappy history.

In 1945 millions were dead, but Germany was still Germany, France still France, England still England, Russia still Russia and even Poland still Poland (with the border moved 100 miles west) and even the Jews though murdered in mass were still a people and headed toward having their own nation after 1900 years.

Merkel in one year introduced a hostile foreign element that is 10% of the German breeding population. (That's akin to what American slavery did in 200 years.) And one that will breed much faster. And she's not done. Unless Germans wake up and "smell the coffee"--and are willing to round up and expel people on racial grounds, i.e. undertake "Hitlerian" behavior-- Germany is done.

Hitler has the much higher body count, but Merkel will--easily--do much greater genetic and cultural damage to Germany, Europe and the West. Unlike Hitler, Merkel's genocide is likely to be successful--a genocide of her own people.
    , @Old Palo Altan
Hitler was not a wilfully destructive leader of his people; what he willed was something grandiose and magnificent, if only in his own eyes (and of course it was also that in the eyes of millions of Germans and their European allies as well).
Merkel, on the other hand, is a wilfully destructive leader of her people; what she wills is a Germany divorced from its historic culture and people (and since she has a majority of Germans at least passively behind her, she is all too likely to get what she wants).

I think the particular virtue of this article is that it is capable of reaching a lot of fence-sitters or sentimental pro-immigrant moderates with a dose of reality. It has flaws, of course, not the least being that it is written from a hand-wringing NGO viewpoint and offers no real solutions, but it goes further than most papers you are likely to see in standard policy journals. I recommend it.

To them, Europeans are the enemy, and their women are legitimate spoils, as are all the other things one can take from them: housing, money, passports. Their laws don’t matter, their culture is uninteresting and, ultimately, their civilization is going to fall anyway to the horde of which one is the spearhead. If the government starts restricting welfare then the number of immigrants would be trivial. They're not coming here by their own power. As it is, it is hard for down and out white males who paid into the system to get food stamps or other forms of welfare in many cases. So we might as well do away with it entirely.
    , @fnn
Don't worship the police too much. I'm old enough to recall the quite unnecessary federal police killings at Ruby Ridge and Waco.
    , @fnn
There are way too many SWAT raids, but maybe the only solution for that is a Russian Occupation Government (Hopefully, one without Chechens):

    Deep blue Maryland:
    http://reason.com/archives/2010/03/01/45-swat-raids-per-day

As a result of this colossal yet not-unprecedented screw-up, plus Calvo's notoriety and persistence, last year Maryland became the first state in the country to make every one of its police departments issue a report on how often and for what purpose they use their SWAT teams. The first reports from the legislation are in, and the results are disturbing.

Over the last six months of 2009, SWAT teams were deployed 804 times in the state of Maryland, or about 4.5 times per day. In Prince George's County alone, with its 850,000 residents, a SWAT team was deployed about once per day. According to a Baltimore Sun analysis, 94 percent of the state's SWAT deployments were used to serve search or arrest warrants, leaving just 6 percent in response to the kinds of barricades, bank robberies, hostage takings, and emergency situations for which SWAT teams were originally intended.

Worse even than those dreary numbers is the fact that more than half of the county’s SWAT deployments were for misdemeanors and nonserious felonies. That means more than 100 times last year Prince George’s County brought state-sanctioned violence to confront people suspected of nonviolent crimes. And that's just one county in Maryland. These outrageous numbers should provide a long-overdue wake-up call to public officials about how far the pendulum has swung toward institutionalized police brutality against its citizenry, usually in the name of the drug war.

    Nationwide:
    http://www.theamericanconservative.com/articles/when-swat-raids-are-routine/

We kept being told the entire time that this equipment was going to be used for a terrorist event or a hostage situation or a barricaded gunman. Then every single time we conducted a search warrant, it was for drugs. We did half a dozen raids while making the film. One time we found a bowl of weed. All the time, destroying the home and arresting people for small quantities of drugs.

An ACLU report says 80 percent of SWAT deployments are for search warrants, and if you look at the search warrants, the vast majority of those are for nonviolent drug offenses. Clearly there’s a time when you actually need this equipment, but we kept going out and seeing it used for low level offenses.

I think it speaks to how common these SWAT deployments are. We went on a ride-along, and we raided a home and recovered a gram and a half of weed, and the team told us that drug-search warrants are actually only 50-50—and they find stuff only 50 percent of the time. These are the types of standards that some police departments are working within. That same department also told us that they do 200 of these raids a year, three to four times a day. In my father’s era, they did 29 search warrants total in the 13 years that he was on SWAT, between 1989 and 2002.

In St. Louis County, every felony search warrant is executed by a SWAT team, and there are plenty of felony search warrants that don’t require that level of armament. They’ve gotten in trouble in St. Louis for raiding homes for code violations, for illegal gas hook-ups, and things like that.

There are way too many SWAT raids, but maybe the only solution for that is a Russian Occupation Government (Hopefully, one without Chechens):

    Deep blue Maryland:

    http://reason.com/archives/2010/03/01/45-swat-raids-per-day

As a result of this colossal yet not-unprecedented screw-up, plus Calvo’s notoriety and persistence, last year Maryland became the first state in the country to make every one of its police departments issue a report on how often and for what purpose they use their SWAT teams. The first reports from the legislation are in, and the results are disturbing.

Over the last six months of 2009, SWAT teams were deployed 804 times in the state of Maryland, or about 4.5 times per day. In Prince George’s County alone, with its 850,000 residents, a SWAT team was deployed about once per day. According to a Baltimore Sun analysis, 94 percent of the state’s SWAT deployments were used to serve search or arrest warrants, leaving just 6 percent in response to the kinds of barricades, bank robberies, hostage takings, and emergency situations for which SWAT teams were originally intended.

Worse even than those dreary numbers is the fact that more than half of the county’s SWAT deployments were for misdemeanors and nonserious felonies. That means more than 100 times last year Prince George’s County brought state-sanctioned violence to confront people suspected of nonviolent crimes. And that’s just one county in Maryland.

If the government starts restricting welfare then the number of immigrants would be trivial. They're not coming here by their own power. As it is, it is hard for down and out white males who paid into the system to get food stamps or other forms of welfare in many cases. So we might as well do away with it entirely.

It is hard to qualify if you have any assets, and on top of this a large share of white males would never accept food stamps if they qualified.

(That’s akin to what American slavery did in 200 years.) And one that will breed much faster. And she’s not done. Unless Germans wake up and “smell the coffee”–and are willing to round up and expel people on racial grounds, i.e. undertake “Hitlerian” behavior– Germany is done.

Hitler has the much higher body count, but Merkel will–easily–do much greater genetic and cultural damage to Germany, Europe and the West. Unlike Hitler, Merkel’s genocide is likely to be successful–a genocide of her own people.

I don't know if this is original with you, but "genocide" strikes me as a very useful way to refer to the effects of uncontrolled immigration, and one that will immediately put "no borders" advocates on the defensive. After all, what else can it be, if a "people" is replaced by another? Of course, in the case of Western Europe, the replacement is not entirely involuntary, alas.

"Genocide" is too hyperbolic imo, can be too easily dismissed because there isn't any ongoing mass murder of native Europeans (at least for now, who knows what could happen in 50 years). It also doesn't help that this line of talking is often used by genuinely extreme people like Neonazis who would regard even much lower levels of immigration and/or interethnic marriages in general as "genocidal", so one can easily be smeared by alleged association with such types.
"Nation-wrecking" or "Population replacement" is totally accurate about the effects of mass immigration though imo. But of course not as effective as terms. Maybe someone can come up with something better.

No vote, no referendum, done all top-down, accompanied by intense indoctrination of the young and harsh penalty for dissents including prison and sometimes, murder at the hands of the invaders or indoctrinated fanatics such as the case of Pim Fortuyn or likely case with Jörg Haider in Austria.

Calling it genocide is useful though which is why the proponents of mass migration don't want a debate on this merit or just flat out say it's not a genocide because feels.

Well - the head of the police, Eisele, did speak very clearly about what has happened, and one remark of him stuck out especially: He said, that the local police forces have not yet encountered so much hatred and aggression as they have in this night. And he made very clear, that it was the migrants, who were the aggressors.

I guess, the ghost has left the bottle - and nobody will be able to shovel it back.

My local paper made an attempt this morning, by stating, that nothing special has happened in Schorndorf. But it might well be, that they regret this comment on their first page pretty soon.

Tübingen Mayor Boris Palmer of the Green Party posted a very clear comment on Facebook. And I think, he is not alone. Plus, the AfD is stronger in Baden-Württemberg than the SPD, and they have asked for a parlamentary debate, which will take place thursday. There is a very good spokesman at work for the AfD in Stuttgart - Michael Klonovsky. CDU big man Strobl tries the forward strategy and talks at least as migrant-behavior-critically as does the AfD.

The most important lesson to learn would be, that there are different kinds of migrants, and that they differ as far as their average ability is concerned, to behave (and work...) well in an industrialized world.

(It's almost a miracle to me, that you can write down the core of the problem in one simple sentence).

As improbable as it would have seemed only two years ago, Merkel is providing the late, unlamented AH with stiff competition for the title of most destructive leader in Germany's unhappy history.

  52. I were visitor of that Volksfest.

Before the riots, according to his data, especially high school graduates and high school students celebrated at the Volksfest.

Many, many high school graduates and high school students have celebrated with us in the castle park. And then, after midnight, there was an argument between two groups. But there I saw no refugees.

Later on, several people with a migrant background or asylum seekers were also added – but this was not the bulk.

In my eyes the majority of the 1000 people weren’t refugess…

Hit the wrong button - I agree with your post.

Eisele, head of the police from Aalen, said, that the police encountered aggressions like nver before, and that those actions were definitely and overwhelmingly carried out by migrants.

No sexual offenders other than migrants, too, he added.

Really looks like it could be another attempted cover-up. Would be a golden opportunity for a real investigative journalist to find out what really went on there. But of course most German media outlets have different priorities.

Well – the head of the police, Eisele, did speak very clearly about what has happened, and one remark of him stuck out especially: He said, that the local police forces have not yet encountered so much hatred and aggression as they have in this night. And he made very clear, that it was the migrants, who were the aggressors.

I guess, the ghost has left the bottle – and nobody will be able to shovel it back.

There is a very good spokesman at work for the AfD in Stuttgart – Michael Klonovsky. CDU big man Strobl tries the forward strategy and talks at least as migrant-behavior-critically as does the AfD.

The most important lesson to learn would be, that there are different kinds of migrants, and that they differ as far as their average ability is concerned, to behave (and work…) well in an industrialized world.

(It’s almost a miracle to me, that you can write down the core of the problem in one simple sentence).
