From the Los Angeles Times:

Man suspected of attacking wife with chain saw was deported 11 times

By BRITTNY MEJIA
JUL 13, 2018 | 6:25 PM

A man suspected of attacking his wife with a chain saw in Whittier had been deported 11 times since 2005, immigration officials said.

Alejandro Alvarez Villegas attacked his wife in their home Wednesday, with their three children inside, according to Whittier police. The 32-year-old then fled the scene in a stolen car.

Immigration officers have lodged a detainer against Alvarez, requesting that local authorities notify Immigration and Customs Enforcement before his release to allow them to take the man into custody, ICE spokeswoman Lori Haley said.

“Department of Homeland Security databases indicate Mr. Alvarez-Villegas is a serial immigration violator who has been removed from the United States 11 times since 2005,” Haley said in a statement.

But the important thing is that Mr. Alvarez-Villegas stay united with his family.

  27. Here’s what’s puzzling. We’ve got tens of millions of illegals here. Each year, we deport a few tens of thousands. An illegal’s chance of being deported is thus on the order of 0.001. How come, then, that we hear about individuals deported multiple times — even eleven times? What are the odds on that? It’s almost like getting struck by lightning again and again.

I suggest we should reconsider my Save the Whales plan.

We kill whales for their meat. That meat goes in dog food or cat food cans. How much better it would be were we to use the carcasses of illegal aliens. Most of these border jumpers are Mexican or Mayan. These cultures had long standing cultural practices of capturing each other and slaughtering the prisoners for human food. They were cannibal cultures.

So were we to feed them to our beloved household pets, it would be consonant with their long standing cultural patterns.

And of couse it would save the whales.

Tearing down walls and cubicles in offices may actually build up more barriers to productivity and collaboration, according to a new study.

Employees at two Fortune 500 multinational companies saw face-to-face interaction time drop by about 70 percent, the use of email increase between 22 percent and 56 percent, and productivity slip after their traditional office spaces were converted to open floor plans—that is, ones without walls or cubicles that ostensibly create barriers to interaction. The findings, published recently in the Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society B, suggest that removing physical dividers may, in fact, make it harder for employers to foster collaboration and collective intelligence among their employees.

Many companies have waged a so-called “war on walls” to try to create such vibrant workspaces, the authors Ethan Bernstein and Stephen Turban of Harvard wrote. But, “what they often get—as captured by a steady stream of news articles professing the death of the open office—is an open expanse of proximal employees choosing to isolate themselves as best they can (e.g. by wearing large headphones) while appearing to be as busy as possible (since everyone can see them).”

Now, what company run by a Globalist billionaire is famously wall-phobic? Oh yes, Bloomberg.

There’s probably a lesson in there somewhere about theory overwhelming reality, but don’t look for Bloomberg the immigration advocate to see it.

Williams does that, and her opponents usually crumble. But Kerber has a new coach, who has helped others beat Williams.
