King of Queens Joe Crowley is a 9-term Democratic Congressman from Queens who was seen as a successor to Nancy Pelosi whenever it is that her era finally grinds to a halt. But tonight he got smashed in the Democratic primary by a pretty young Puerto Rican socialist lady running on a platform of free handouts and open borders (what could possibly go wrong?)

From The Intercept:

JOE CROWLEY COMPLAINS HIS PRIMARY OPPONENT, ALEXANDRIA OCASIO-CORTEZ IS MAKING THIS RACE “ABOUT RACE”

Ryan Grim
June 9 2018, 5:00 a.m.

ON A WARM SUNDAY evening in Queens, New York, Joe Crowley stood before a group of about two dozen Democratic activists and made his case for why he should be returned to Congress for a 10th term. In his view, it was “destiny.”

“I was born for this role,” Crowley said at the May 20 meet-and-greet. Like President Donald Trump, he was born in Queens, though in entirely different circumstances. Trump came from great wealth and privilege, Crowley observed, while the congressperson was born to a family of Irish immigrants — the son of a police officer. Crowley is routinely floated as next in line to be the leader of the House Democrats if Rep. Nancy Pelosi of California steps aside or is ousted. “He was trying to say that me being a guy from the same place [Trump] is from, I’m the guy to take him on,” said Andy Aujla, who hosted the event at his home. …

If Crowley positions himself as a photo negative of the president, Ocasio-Cortez is a different medium altogether. A 28-year-old woman and daughter to a Puerto Rican mother and Bronx father, Ocasio-Cortez’s most notable novelty is arguably not her demographic profile, but her policy profile. She calls for the abolition of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE),

Of course, nobody is calling for Open Borders, the new Democratic star is just calling for abolishing border enforcement.

Screenshot 2018-06-26 22.39.23

Medicare for All, tuition-free public college, a federal jobs guarantee, and criminal justice reform “now.” “It doesn’t take 100 years to do this,” she intones in a viral campaign video. “It takes political courage.”

And a whole lot of other people’s tax payments.

Crowley, though, when he talked about the campaign, shared his frustration over what he perceives to be an inordinate focus on ethnicity.

His opponent, he said, was trying to make the campaign “about race” — a strategy he called “unnecessarily divisive” at a time when the party needed to be “fighting Republicans, not other Democrats,” according to two people at the gathering. …

He said he didn’t recall Crowley making any comments about his own race being a hinderance [sic] in the campaign.

All Democrats know that White Privilege means that being a white in a mostly nonwhite election can’t possibly be a hindrance. It’s a law of nature or of math or something. Only racists would say something like that. The fact that only 18% of the residents of NY14 were white in the 2010 Census just proves that White Privilege Something Something.

But of course, for all you white Democrats out there, there’s nothing to worry about. Crowley didn’t lose because he’s white, he lost because he’s, uh, a loser. Your white children have nothing to worry about regarding the New Improved Democratic Party of the Future. Nothing!

(Ocasio-Cortez is a former organizer for Bernie Sanders’s 2016 campaign and has been endorsed by Sanders-affiliated groups Our Revolution and People for Bernie Sanders, as well as the Democratic Socialists of America.)

Most of those at the event were white or white-presenting

As America’s greatest philosopher would say, they’re “people who believe they are white.”

, Haby said, and he found Crowley’s defense that he couldn’t “help” being born white, coupled with his claims of being “destined” for leadership, odd and off-putting.

The source who originally tipped The Intercept off to Crowley’s alleged remarks in the days following the event was similarly troubled by Crowley’s comments on race. “It just felt really weird and not appropriate,” he explained.

The disgusting white man’s disgusting comments are disgusting, they just are. After all, Rep. Joe Crowley is a white male. And what more need be said?

THE IRONY THAT Crowley laments how he “can’t help” being white, while ignoring the political advantages he inherited, is not lost on Ocasio-Cortez.

After all, as America’s greatest genius has explained, time flows backwards, so it’s more important to think about events long ago than what is happening right now.

“The congressman could have helped that he accepted inheritance of his seat from a multigenerational political dynasty without a true primary — a process by which people of color are historically locked out of representation. The congressman could help that he voted to establish ICE. The congressman can help the fact that he accepts money from developers that are displacing our communities and the folks criminalizing our backyards,” she told The Intercept.

“Additionally, why is it that the congressman can proudly discuss his Irish heritage on the campaign trail, but I am somehow barred from mentioning my Puerto Rican family?” …

Haby is a board member of the Lesbian & Gay Democratic Club of Queens and a member of Stonewall Democrats. …

The LGDCQ later endorsed Crowley, though Ocasio-Cortez did not compete for their backing.

So, while Mexicans haven’t accomplished as much as expected politically in California and Texas, various Caribbean Hispanics have been doing pretty well on the Eastern Seaboard.

From an interview with the winner in In These Times:

KA: Speaking of some of those issues, you’ve come out in support of abolishing ICE. Could you say why that’s important to folks in your district?

AOC: NY-14 is 50 percent immigrant, including naturalized U.S. citizens and undocumented people. Immigration is a top three issue in our community because it speaks directly to the stability of working families here. When I’m advocating for a working-class agenda, for the safety and security of working-class people, it means healthcare, housing and immigration. They’re issues of, “Can I stay here tomorrow?”

If there is any seat in America that is advocating for the abolishment of ICE it should be NY14. It is a district that is 85 percent Democratic. We have very little to risk by taking bold and ambitious positions. Even for those who aren’t immigrants, we are all so deeply invested in the lives and the future of immigrant families in NY-14, and everybody here cares about this issue.

Everybody in NY14 cares about Mexican illegal immigrants! Except for the Puerto Ricans who have Open Borders. And the Cubans who have their dry foot-wet foot deal. And the Asians who are here on that investor visa deal. And the Mauritians who are here on Sen. Kennedy’s Diversity Visa boondoggle. But other than all the non-Mexicans, everybody here cares about the Mexicans.

The one little minor teeny weeny tiny little flaw in the Democrats’ plan to use minorities to turn America blue is that before minorities come to comprise a majority of America they will first come to comprise a majority of the Democratic Party. That means that a whole lot of white Democrats will be out of jobs.

For much of the political class politics is just about where you can find work, and which party gives you the best shot at climbing the ladder into elective office. Setting aside my personal political beliefs and looking at it just from a rational perspective, if I were a few years younger and just graduating from college right and wanted to aim for elective office there is no way in hell, as a straight white man, I would want to attach myself to the Democratic Party.

I know that securing the border all seems pretty hopeless right now, with 100% of Democratic politicians in favor of erasing our borders. But a few more victories by wise young Latinas over tired old white guys like Crowley and perhaps a few Democrats will start to come around. After all, they’re doing their best to pander to the Hispanic vote and it ain’t doing them a who lot of good. Crowley’s NumbersUSA grade is an F-.

ICE is interior immigration enforcement. CBP is border enforcement. Then there’s CIS for naturalization and the like. Things were simpler pre 9/11.

But, yeah, in theory you could eliminate ICE without much chaos, since CBP would have border to 100 miles inland jurisdiction. That’s why the proposal is so chilling. It’s not as crazy as it might at first appear. There’d be a race to the inland from the border for illegals. I’m sure you’d have some kind of underground railroad developing.

Can you get a DVD or BR copy of Fast Times with the original theatrical music soundtrack now? At least in the past, they always replaced the music with other, and less good, selections because when they signed contracts for the music in the theatrical release, the license didn’t include home media releases, and when they went back to negotiate the musicians’ agents tried to ram it up their nether parts on license fees, so they subbed the music. The changes ruin the film for anyone who remembers it as shown in a real cinema of the time.

In a way what might be happening to white democrats is what has happened to others in history who have brought in foreign mercenaries to deal with their local opponents. Several instances of one group recruiting a foreign force to put down their rivals resulted in that foreign force taking over the nation.

In this case white democrats are bringing in foreign voters to tilt the political battle against the bad whites. But doing so opens up their party, and probably the nation, to a hostile takeover. It’s ironic Crowley is Irish. You’d think he would have learned from his ancestor’s mistake.

Also known as the Parliament of Whores problem. It’s why the Libtys and the Greens and the Constitutionalists can never consistently get more than 1% of the vote while each of those groups represents at least ten times that number of people’s true political beliefs.

The Democrat party could conceivably be the one to shatter into pieces and disappear, rather than the GOP. The GOP replaced the Whigs, if you recall.

  28. Crowley won three terms (6 years) from his district. If his constituents were that fanatically anti-white, how did he get elected to begin with?

It appears that Crowley skipped both primary debates. See below.

    https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2018/6/26/17506970/alexandria-ocasio-cortez-joe-crowley-primary-new-york

She had some help from a major Crowley misstep — he sent a surrogate to a primary debate, which led to a scathing editorial from the New York Times. “This is the second primary debate in which Mr. Crowley was a no-show. A spokeswoman for Mr. Crowley said he had scheduling conflicts that wouldn’t allow him to attend the two debates, inevitably leaving voters to wonder — what are we, chopped liver?” the editorial read.

It’s pretty remarkable that he would skip his own primary debates.

His children didn’t go to school in the district. According to one local paper, even he didn’t actually live in his own district (he disputes this).

I’ll add one final point. He was a moderate Democrat with strong ties to Wall Street and the real estate industry. She started her career as a hard-left community organizer. Which individual is likely more in touch with the district’s constituents?

There’s nothing nastier or more vicious than an old Dem determined to cling to power. (See Hillary Clinton for an example). So “Curb Wall Street Gambling: Restore Glass Steagall” is “shameless”?

    “Clean Campaign Finance” is “shameless”?

The funny thing here is that a large fraction of the posters here never talk about “other people’s money” when the issue is emptying the national treasury into the pockets of defense contractors or corporations who want subsidies. Suddenly, everybody becomes a fiscal hawk when she mentions “Medicare For All.”

By the way, who do you think benefits from “Medicare For All”? The fact is that 43% of Medicaid recipients are non-Hispanic white. So if “Medicare For All” passed, close to half the people benefting would be White.

I’d bet a substantial fraction of the posters here have been (or will be at some point) on Medicaid and could benefit from such a program. To hear some of the people here talk, you’d think 90% of Medicaid recipients were NAMs……..

By the way, some of the above proposals might save money. For example, the U.S. healthcare system is enormously expensive (an issue that few posters here ever speak about). “Medicare For All” is an attempt to reign in costs through mass-scale negotiating. Ending “private prisons” (which often are enormous give aways to connected contractors) is another attempt to reign in costs.

Which isn’t to say she’ll be a particularly good representative or that her ideas are amazing. Mostly I’m just saying that she’s not as insane or irresponsible as some people here make her out to be. By the standards of American politicians, she’s not that far out of the mainstream.

All night long their nets they threw

The Zimbabwe economy has completely imploded, and is in desperate need of the miraculous economic boost that is available only from importation of unskilled Latin-American labor (doing the jobs Africans won’t do). Out of humanitarianism, the United States would agree to foot the entire transportation cost and salary (12 trillion Mugollars, or $37.50 American) of any migrant who signed up for the deal. It’s a massive win-win. Zimbabwe gets an instant jump to the top of the world economic standings, and the Central Americans get good jobs and opportunities for their children, plus the advantages of living in a country completely free of racist oppression (at 99.998% black, Zimbabwe is one of the most diverse countries in the world).

According to Vox, the totals were:

    Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez 15,897 57%
    Joseph Crowley 11,761 42%

New York State has insanely onerous regulations on who can vote in primaries and who can get on the ballot. It’s all inherited from the old Tammany machines and hasn’t been updated–your petitions have to have a certain number of valid signatures from each Election District, your petition carriers have to live in such-and-such a district, the papers have to be stapled in a certain way.

Ocasio-Cortez was a Sanders organizer in 2015-16, and learned firsthand how jacked up the NYS election laws are, and got experience at navigating that minefield and registering voters.

So you have a hungry Young Turk registering new voters, and a machine hack looking at the pros-and-cons of challenging Nancy Pelosi for the Speakership after the Democrats win a House majority. Skipping primary debates? Jeebus. Nobody watches them, so the only way to lose is to not show up so that your challenger can use that as a talking point.

Ocasio-Cortez is the shape of things to come in the Democratic Party, but the future is still a few election cycles off. The white Democratic gerontocracy will erode away, rather than collapsing all at once.

Manton so liked Crowley he retired outside of an election cycle to let Crowley run in a Dem primary before anyone who could beat him had the chance to mount a campaign. Perhaps because I’ve been frequenting this site for so long, the above observation seems absolutely obvious to me. It’s not just about the macro level of political parties, but about the disaggregation of the old Cold War political coalitions, and their recombination into something new; the idea that a person you considered an adversary yesterday may be an ally tomorrow.

What’s amazing to me as I talk about this with Liberals is how they are utterly unaware of the development. They seem to believe they’ve got a lock on the old Truman-voting party, and have merely expanded it—*without cost*—to their ascendant coalition of the fringes. There is only one political story today, the defeat of Democratic Party stalwart Joseph Crowley by insurgent socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, 28, in a congressional district in the Bronx and Queens. The news has reverberations for our issue, U.S. policy in the Middle East. Ocasio-Cortez has called on the party to end its silence on Palestinian human rights.

Here is Ocasio-Cortez’s tweet from the May 14 massacre on the Gaza border, when Israel killed 62 Palestinian protesters even as the U.S. moved the embassy:

This is a massacre. I hope my peers have the moral courage to call it such. No state or entity is absolved of mass shootings of protesters. There is no justification. Palestinian people deserve basic human dignity, as anyone else. Democrats can’t be silent about this anymore.

Crowley had supported the move of the embassy to Jerusalem, which detonated the killings, and catered to the Israel lobby group AIPAC. He is the fourth-ranking Democrat in the House, a ten-term congressman, the personification of the old guard. The party establishment has been wed to support for Israel even as the forces that Ocasio-Cortez represents, younger and more diverse, have demanded greater backing for Palestinian human rights.

“I owe a bunch of money to some cartel guys and I’m running away from home” is not a valid case for asylum.

“Jose got into the tequila again and slapped me around some” is not a valid case for asylum.

Thirdly, asylum has certain rules according to international law. If they truly are a persecuted minority fleeing genocide, then they must apply for asylum in the first safe country they arrive in. In this case, that would be Mexico. Of course the election was all about “ethnicity”. So are all the government hiring decisions, decisions about who gets promoted, decisions regarding who gets scholarships, decisions about who gets government funding, etc. Winning a congressional seat is just frosting on the cake.

  115. @Anon

Its not just white voters that will be leaving the Democrats soon. Their large donors are the ones that will spook first.

One of the under-reported revelations of Donna Brazil’s book was that the reason the Democrats had to fix the primaries so early was because it was the only way they could secure the backing of their (((wealthy donors))). The rules maxing contributions at $2,500 per donor (or whatever it is) per candidate it put them in a position where the overflow had to funnel its way through the Democratic Party. They are far more reliant on mega donors and there was no way many of them would give anything to the Democrats if there was a chance that Bernie Sanders and the rabble he represented might get into power. Ironically, we could easily have had a President Sanders had it been a fair fight.

In the future, look for the rules in the Democratic Party to get rid of the super delegates, even out the funding, and making things more transparent. All that will do, is hasten the exit of elites from the party. What the Democrats really need is a openly pro-Palestine candidate to win. That’s next.

    Here is one:

The Norman invasion of Ireland took place in stages during the late 12th century, at a time when Gaelic Ireland was made up of several kingdoms, with a High King claiming lordship over all.

In May 1169, Cambro-Norman mercenaries landed in Ireland at the request of Diarmait Mac Murchada (Dermot MacMurragh), the ousted King of Leinster, who had sought their help in regaining his kingdom. Diarmait and the Normans seized Leinster within weeks and launched raids into neighbouring kingdoms.

The Norman invasion was a watershed in the history of Ireland, marking the beginning of more than 800 years of direct English and, later, British involvement in Ireland.

Really? It sounds perfectly middle-of-the-road to me. It’s the kind of thing that both Eisenhower and FDR would have been OK with. Heck, FDR was OK with deporting Mexicans who had US citizenship:

The Mexican Repatriation was a mass deportation of Mexicans and Mexican-Americans from the United States between 1929 and 1936. Estimates of how many were repatriated range from 400,000 to 2,000,000.[1]:xiii[2]:150 An estimated sixty percent of those deported were birthright citizens of the United States.[2]:330 Because the forced movement was based on race, and ignored citizenship, the process arguably meets modern legal definitions of ethnic cleansing.[3]:6

Somehow, I don’t think this is going to turn out well.

The most obtuse example of our current immigration malaise is the Hispanic woman who sent her daughter across the border alone. Now, she claims the right to legal immigration to the United States under the new policy/lower court ruling that mandates uniting children with their parents.

Perhaps you don’t understand the scale of the threat facing Anglo-America:

In 2009, after a decade and a half of litigation, a U.S. immigration court granted asylum to a Guatemalan woman who pleaded that she had been victimized by domestic abuse.

Hard cases really do make for bad law. Matter of R-A- opened the door to claims for asylum based on fear of private persons: husbands, gangs, criminals. The door was not used right away, because the case was decided just as the United States plunged into its steepest recession since the 1930s. But as the U.S. job market revived during Obama’s second term, people across Central America responded to their new opportunity to escape their poor and violent homelands. Hundreds of thousands of them set out to find a new and more prosperous life north of the Rio Grande.

What happened instead was that the United States imposed an elaborate pretense on its would-be immigrants. Surveys consistently showed that Central Americans immigrated to the U.S. in search of better work and better pay. A Pew survey in 2011 found that only about 13 percent cited crime and violence as their main motive. But the search for better pay does not provide legal grounds for remaining in the United States; fear of violence might. Immigrants, like all human beings, are rational actors who tell the stories most likely to obtain the result they seek. The medium through which that story is told is the asylum claim.

As of the end of 2017, almost 300,000 Central Americans claimed some form of refugee or asylum status in the U.S., Mexico, Panama, or other receiving country, according to the UN High Commission on Refugees. (Strikingly, asylum claims are rising—up 58 percent over 2016—even as violence has steeply declined in Honduras and Guatemala.)

The sheer number of these claims is choking the American capacity to respond to them. Each claim must get an individual hearing. The facts are often complicated, since some of those expressing fear of criminal gangs were themselves previously involved in those gangs in one way or another. It takes longer and longer to adjudicate cases: a median of 43 days in fiscal 2006, 286 days in fiscal 2015, and almost certainly much longer than that by now. While something like 60 percent of asylum claims are rejected, a rejected asylum claim does not easily translate into a repatriated asylum claimant.

The questions before the courts are profoundly unresolvable. How much crime must an individual fear to receive asylum? The homicide rate in Guatemala—about 24 per 100,000 people in 2016—was almost five times higher than the United States rate of 5.3 per 100,000 that year. But the German homicide rate in turn is less than 1 per 100,000. Could an American seek asylum in Germany on that basis? You might say: Nobody would want to. But if German wages averaged 10 or 20 times those in the United States, many Americans might change their minds about the urgency of the 5-to-1 violence differential between the two countries.

A Black guy tried to come up the bus steps. The relief driver, standing on the steps and who is a Latino with a heavy accent tells the guy that they are changing drivers and asks him to wait a minute. This is common, passengers usually wait until the relief driver is seated before embarking. The Black guy starts insisting on boarding the bus. Vince, the driver again asks the guy to wait. The Black guy says he has heavy bags and needs to get on. Vince reluctantly gets off the bus to let the guy pass. The guy gets on and puts his duffle bag down on a seat and says, “You stupid mf! You did that on purpose! You’re a Mexican! Mexicans hate Black people! I lived in Arizona and all the Mexicans hate Blacks!”

There’s no reason they can’t apply in the first “safe” country the arrive in, whether it’s Mexico or somewhere else.

Of course he is not getting it. Not until they were tossed into prison, or even executed, did the Old Bolsheviks get it that the revolution they brought about would devour them too. They just assumed that their lives would be filled with destroying the lives of the hated devoutly Orthodox or Catholic, the conservative in culture or politics or economics.

In the USSR, when the hammer finally fell on a few Jews, with Trotsky the most prominent, all Jews were shocked. After all, they knew that the revolution was about destroying Christians and politically/culturally conservative and moderate Gentiles. It was their revolution against Christendom, and they were supposed to be the devourers, never the devoured, the torturers, never the tortured.

The most important way to discern Neoconservatism is that it is an attempt by Jews to revive all the merciless fury of Bolshevism and make it so that Jews cannot get tossed into the fire at any point. And that was done by integrating fully into the heart of power of WASP Empire, which was easy as pie because WASP culture was born of a Judaizing heresy: Anglo-Saxon Puritanism. Judaizing heresy always produces pro-Jewish politics and culture which also necessarily must hate unto death all white cultures that have not been bitten hard by the revolutionary bug.

Very good analysis. This topic has been taken up by Steve Sailer early on with his “coalition of the fringes” essays.

The new Democratic party will not be friendly to the interests of the Zionists and that is why so many Jews jumped ship from their natural home as liberal Democrats to become supposedly conservative Republicans.

I am looking forward to some political party asking important questions about our relationship with Israel and bringing the issue of their land theft and their treatment of the Palestinians to the forefront.

Things are not going according to the plan of the Zionists.

The new Democratic party will not only continue to be hostile to the historic American nation and the white people who created that nation, it will become hostile to the Jews. Pandora’s box has been opened, and the people who have done more than anyone to open that box will suffer for their folly.

  180. The liberal media portrays it as a massive win but it is not. To explain who the Democrats elected. Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez was born in 1989 to Blanca (born in Puerto Rico) and Sergio Ocasio-Cortez. Her mother is born in Puerto Rico and her father is born in New York City. Both of them identified as white Hispanic. In 1993 the family moved from Bronx to very white Yorktown, about 45 minutes from Manhattan. Her father (an architect) had his business in Bronx but that was her only connection as most of her relatives actually live in Yorktown, Bergen County and other very white suburbs to New York City. You can learn a lot with the help of Google.

The family was by no means poor or working class but rather solid middle class. Her father died (cancer) in 2008 and the family fought with government over his business. At that time Alexandra studied economics and international relations at Boston College. In college she was involved in leftist politics like so many students. She briefly volunteered for Ted Kennedy. After she graduated in 2011 she moved to Bronx and waitressed for a year (not really uncommon) until she found work at National Hispanic Institute as an educator and later Educational director. In 2012 (at age 23) she founded a leftist publishing company called Brook Avenue Press. She has occasionally bar-tendered at hipsters bars owned by her friends. In 2016 she co-produced an independent film called “The road to standing rock”, which is a leftist activist documentary about Dakota Access Pipeline protests. The same year she also volunteered for Bernie Sanders as an organizer in the 14th district in 2016.

Since she graduated from college she also made a lot of friends including New York Hollywood celebrities, politicians, millionaire progressive donors, civil-rights lawyers, independent filmmakers and journalists. She has a a enormous amount of leftist millennial activist friends. After Berne Sanders failed to win the primary Alexandria and her friends (most of them are white liberals from middle class families from the suburbs) noted that they could take down Joseph Crowley, a career politicians that had been a full-time politician since 1987 and more or less owned the 14th district since 1999.

Like most arrogant career politicians he did not see this coming. The Democratic Party had set up all local democratic and leftist organizations for him. However, Alexandria and her friends circumnavigated these organizations through their network of friends (mostly Sander supporters, activists, celebrities and journalists), social media, and harsh political rhetoric.

Liberal media describes her as some dirt poor and brownish Puerto Rican. She is not. It is just show. She has no Spanish dialect and use make up to look darker than she actually is. None of her political positions are really radical. You get the same politics from the left-wing of the Democratic Party and some of her positions (in particular on the welfare state) have been policy in Europe since the 1930s. The difference is just that she frame her fairly mainstream political views with identity politics, feminism, environmentalism,

Politically they have not realized that the world is changing from left-right, democrat-republican into more of a globalist-nationalist divide and of course a tribal divide.

I wrote this in April of 2018:

Since we have a first-past-the-post style electoral scheme, we are going to have a two party system. The future two party system conflict is going to be between the Globalizers and the Patriots. The Democrat Party is now, and will become even more so, the Globalizer political party. The GOP will become explicitly the political party for White Core American Patriots.

The Globalizer Democrat Party will attack sovereignty and nationalism. The Globalizer Democrat Party will attack the historic American nation and the descendants of the European Christian colonists, settlers and pioneers who built the United States.

The Patriot GOP will explicitly advance the social, cultural, political and economic interests of the European Christian ancestral core of the United States. The Patriot GOP will stop all legal immigration and deport all illegal alien infiltrators. The Patriot GOP will go to an offshore balancing foreign policy that might allow the dollar to slide by as the global reserve currency for a few more decades.

The Patriot GOP will not tolerate Chinese cheap labor financialization to further destroy the manufacturing base of the United States. It is obvious that for several decades now the GOP ruling class has crawled into bed with the Communist Party of China. The GOP has pushed trade deal scams that have allowed China to destroy much of America’s manufacturing base. The GOP ruling class has treasonously allowed millions of Chinese to infiltrate the United States.

The Patriot GOP will take advantage of the upcoming global financial implosion to expedite the removal of foreigners from the United States. The Patriot GOP will use the US military to isolate the continent of Africa so as to prevent the Africans from creating invasionary problems throughout the rest of the world. The Russians and Chinese will agree to isolate Africa demographically. The Patriot GOP will give “isolationism” a new twist on its previous slanderous definition.

    GLOBALIZATION

Maybe. Maybe not so much. Drawing district lines is interesting. From what I can tell, NY state was redistricted after the 2010 census losing 2 congressional districts. The state legislature was split so it went to a panel of federal judges who sent it to a local federal judge who went with a plan by this guy: Nathaniel Persily. E.g. http://www.mcall.com/news/nationworld/pennsylvania/capitol-ideas/mc-nws-stanford-law-professor-pennsylvania-congress-map-20180213-story.html

In the end I guess there are a lot of compromises, but one more interesting thing is that there’s lots of building —both office and residential, in and around (South & West) that area, so perhaps another Redistricting in 4 years time is inevitable.

I don’t think —or rather, don’t know enough to think that Crowley had his district redistricted out from under him.

Social Democracy stems from the “first international” (1863-1877), which were a serious of meetings and debates between socialist, communists and anarchist organizations, parties and intellectuals. Social Democrats argued that the aristocracy and capitalist class could only be overthrown through democratic reform. For them revolution was not an option. By the “second international” (1889-1916) Social Democrats was already working with liberal bourgeoisie, liberal parties and with agrarian parties for “democratic reform”. By the 1900s the Social Democratic efforts resulted in a compromise between the capitalist class, bourgeoisie and the agrarians to share political power. It was centrist statist approach on economics. One of the few exceptions among the Social Democratic parties was the German SPD that turned radical in the late 1890s. By the 1945 almost all Social Democratic parties in Western Europe adopted internationalism, neo-liberalism, Feminism and Western Marxism as their main ideology. They implemented their agenda through slow reform.

A few years ago major Social Democratic parties in Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Germany, Sweden, Australia, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Malta, Moldova, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland and United States with withdrew from the “Socialist International” and formed “Progressive Alliance” in 2013. The Progressive Alliance is neo-liberal, post-marxist and internationalist and has little disregard for working class people. It is also controlled by Western parties. All member-parties from second and third world countries are domestically insignificant without any real economical and political power.

Both Ocasio-Cortez and Sanders are much closer to the Progressive Alliance than the Socialist internationalist. The reason why the Democratic establishment does not like the “left-wing” in their party is because they compete for political seats they rather have for themselves. More so, they talk about special interests although they have no plan do anything about it. As soon as Ocasio-Cortez won she folded on Israel and most of her positions. These “social democrats” are not like Ron Paul that have said the same things (like it or not). Most contemporary socialists and liberals only care about open borders so the first world can be flooded by cheap labour. That is what they really care about. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Democratic Party let Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez run for President in 2020.

Still afraid of racial politics, they are content to taut tax cuts and cutting environmental regulations, etc. while their opponents are going full bore reconquesta. California is like that where close to 30% of the voters went Republican but they are invisible. 230. Terrific comment. Having started in the USMC in 60s and finishing in Army Reserves in 21st Century (with a big break after Marines), I worked around thousands of soldiers after 9-11-2001, and feel you shot a bulls eye. The big majority of the US Army infantry are white to include those of mixed Spanish and Northern European origin as well as other Spanish, but even with that, the majority of infantry are of Northern European ancestry.
Just look at the faces of the dead in Iraq and Afghanistan. All just cannon fodder.

Race relations are excellent in the Army. Whites and African Americans continue to die while the children of the elites and the majority of the country care nothing and have no idea what is even going on in Afghanistan and the Middle East. Just who does follow the wars in the Mideast and in Southwest Asia?

Families should wise up and realize that their white and African American sons are dying for a country that cares NOTHING for them. The Pentagon especially during the Obama years was continually looking for ways to prosecute soldiers, Marines, SEALS on flimsy evidence about detainee abuse (following Abu Ghraib all were fair game for Pentagon lawyers).
In 2008 the 101st Airborne tried to destroy the lives of too many infantry soldiers when a few very concerned officers and a First Sergeant tried to get evidence out of a dozen or so Taliban spies in their midst.

America cannot win wars because it does not fight to win wars. Career concerns are far more important to politicians and high ranking officers. America will not win in Afghanistan. It is a complete disgrace what has been going on there. Small Green Beret teams achieved great things in 2001-2002 but then everybody wanted in on the latest war. One would think that these wars are just sporting events with the participants in the killing field being the dedicated and often jobless sons of the masses who mean nothing to the “elites” who are just lazy trash and run things.

There is a lot of dirt going on behind the scenes. In the US Army we see those of different nationalities as brothers and I cringed when men died because they were too young and inexperienced to know that they were just being used by the power structures that cared NOTHING about them. Obama, Clinton, Ashton Carter, and the whole lot of them didn’t give a damn about any of the suffering that went on. The “war” was a charade.

Also, look how far ISIS advanced before our asleep-on-the-job leaders took notice. I am led to believe that if it were not for Iran, Russia, Assad’s troops of Syria, and a rejuvenated Iraq, that ISIS would have owned Syria years ago. How long did our President and Secretary of Defense and Secretary of State wait before the USA realized ISIS was not a “jayvee” team.

But it doesn’t change. These naive believers in “America” will still graduate from West Point and Annapolis, and whites and African Americans will still sign up in large numbers while the politicians and perfumed princes in the Pentagon and those generals running Divisions will still care far more about their careers than any of those young men out in the killing zone.

There was speculation back in 2012 that they would combine his district with that of Bob Turner, a Catholic Republican from Breezy Point who won a special election after Anthony Weiner resigned. Weiner’s old district was home to most of the “white ethnics” (Italian, Irish, Jewish and Russian) still left in the city and that would have theoretically given Crowley a Queens only district pulling in more Irish voters from the Rockaways and Italian voters from Howard Beach and Central Queens. Ultimately, the legislature couldn’t agree on the map so they had a judge draw the new districts.

There are 9 US embassies between the US border and Guatemala which is the farthest country this crop of immigrants came from.
“Due process’ means applying to the nearest US embassy to claim ‘political asylum’…. which is what the majority of them are claiming.
    Why don’t they do this?
Because most of them are not victims of violence or political persecution…they are ‘economic’ border jumpers….and you cant go to a embassy and ask for a US visa just because you are poor or want a better job.
They avoid ‘Due Process’ because ‘the immigration laws’ wont give them the entry into the US that they want.

“It doesn’t take 100 years to do this,” she intones in a viral campaign video. “It takes political courage.”

That was essentially the message of Hugo Chavez, and look how it turned out: a buffoon empowered by hordes of envious lower-class browns kicked out the lighter-skinned governing elite and enacted broad redistributionist economic policies aimed at giving his supporters more gibs. It failed and their economy crashed, and then they got a dictator while at least half the country still supports this turn of events. Venezuela is now a borderline failed state and probably will be for decades to come.

That’s America’s future ladies and gentlemen; it’s not California, it’s Venezuela. This election essentially proves it. If a left-wing white guy cannot win in the Democrat party, how is any republican supposed to win non-white votes – ever? Hint: they can’t because people consider racial and ethnic affiliations more important than policy.

The writing was on the wall long before. Consider the following two elections: Hillary Clinton vs. Barrack Obama 2008 and Clinton vs. Sanders 2016. Both elections were determined by non-whites who voted their racial interests over policy. Clinton lost every state with a significant black population in 2008 to a black man, despite her affiliation with a guy called “the first black president”, and Sanders nearly replicated the same result 8 years later, despite him being obviously more socialist than his more minority-friendly opponent.

And THAT is why non-European immigration was always bad. It was never an issue over temporary economic benefits, crime rates, or any of that other technocratic nonsense; they could have been a temporary benefit in all such categories but they still constituted a long term disaster, nonetheless. It was always about long term stability. Change your demographics and you get instability. Period.

One day, this will happen in the US, too. The housing crisis was just the first taste: Bush and Kennedy teamed up to make it easier to put poor minorities into homes they couldn’t afford, sparking a gold rush that ended in disaster. Bush thought the GOP would get minority votes…they didn’t, not really. Tribe trumps reason.

Don’t be surprised if this kind of incompetence starts occurring 1-2 times per decade in the future in various US markets: homes, healthcare (yeah, it’s inefficient now…but imagine a poorly run socialist scheme in the future: +$600 billion to the annual deficit*), wars, the tech industry (they’ll come for that, too), energy prices may skyrocket as extremist incompetents shut down the fossil fuel sector, student loan debt, university admissions, public school standards, sovereign debt crisis, dollar crisis, medical research, etc.

The future of America is a perpetually democrat, non-white party ruling over everything forever – a dictatorship much like South Africa. Scary.

*A socialized healthcare system can never work in the United States for various reasons. The most obvious is that it will take significant restraint and regulation to make it affordable. That can’t happen when piles of non-white morons are voting in our elections to give themselves more stuff that other people (whites) pay for with their hard-earned, but limited, incomes. For example, a socialized medical scheme that limited doctor visits would save several hundred billion dollars; however, one that paid for the increased number doctor visits that would occur in response could add up to $600 billion to the deficit…and I’m willing to bet that it goes even higher than that. There is just no way a one-party non-white government could responsibly regulate such a system, and their short-sighted voters won’t even let them try even if they could. Same kind of thing happened in Venezuela.

For extra context, I was 18. This seems to me to render the “neg” irrelevant. What 18 year old feels insecure about not already earning a million dollars a year?

She will be re-elected for decades and will acquire seniority. Not a good reason to keep the other tool in office.

Of course both of them are on balance a disaster for America, notwithstanding her welcome comments about Israel.

Families should wise up and realize that their white and African American sons are dying for a country that cares NOTHING for them.

It’s established case law that anyone who ends up in the US, legal or not, gets due process. Deserves it? That’s a value judgement. But they receive it. No point arguing with fringe nutjobs on blogs.
