  1. I’m heartbroken over this. I never would have guessed that the National University of Ireland hires a lot of white Catholic Irish ladies. What are the odds?

    • Replies: @sb
    I fear for Ireland .

Remember that they are still in the first generation of multiculturalism and the mainstream left there are aready talking in the language of diversity similar to that of the US left of a mere decade ago.

And this is with an insignificant Jewish population
  2. Wow, when I was a kid visiting my grandmother in Ireland they didn’t even have divorce or peanut butter. Now they have White guilt and ethno-masochism. How wonderfully American!

Good observation. They tell us they are only bringing in immigrants to do the work the natives won't do. But then they nitpick about how certain occupations don't reflect the makeup of the new demographic reality. So a certain portion of natives who are willing and able to work in a particular field must now seek employment in another field so as to provide an opportunity for the immigrants who were only supposed to take the jobs no one else wanted.

exactly. Guilt is being used as a weapon against cultures (of 1000+ years) who understand that their ways may be moribund. It is all about making people feel Guilty..."guilty as charged."
  6. Brett is now up to 71% on predictit. Consensus is he gets all GOP votes plus Joe Manchin and Heidi Heitkamp.

My prediction, Tester will lose if he does not vote Kav in...however, that is just icing on the cake for November, if I am correct. White people have been currently maligned in every newspaper, every magazine, all networks (except Fox), it's become obvious to "Everyday Americans." Sheesh...it's about time. I knew sooner or later, people would wake up. I work hard everyday, to educate former Democrat women that their future (white women) is over. Or, as a European who knows Bolshevism, they will not matter - they will pay for reparations. The country has turned against the Coasts and big cities, permanently. Well, my prediction.

  9. And so it begins! It is true, though, that nice white ladies cannot teach, non Asian, “Children of color”. Mean, white, sadistic, repressed lesbian nuns can. Lesbians have options now and aren’t so repressed, so they are less sadistic and much less likely to become teachers.

  10. Stop manually approving your comments. It completely ruins your comment section and eliminates the possibility of conversation. I don’t know what’s wrong with Boomers that they think this is needed.

Take a look at Anatoly Karlin’s comment section to see what non-approval does: it leads to community.

Pro-tip: quietly delete my comment then announce a new free-for-all comment policy. I promise not to say a word to anyone about it as having a nice community will be its own reward.

I agree with this. Your overseas readers (i.e., people reading after Steve goes to Sleepytown) just give up. And many of us do not want to register. We may not trust Ron to keep things safe from, uh, Russian hackers. We may not want continuity from comment to comment, since over time a lot of personal information slips in and Come the Revolution (or a Reddit dox attempt) people can be inadvertently identified by putting it all together. For instance, in one comment I say my wife is a yoga instructor, in another I say I live near a Russian market in the Valley, and in another I reveal that I went to business school with so and so. Over time it adds up.

I operate websites that have community features. Some use WordPress, some use vBulletin, and some use home-grown software. For the latter we have developed very effective anti-troll and anti-spam techniques. The job may seem insurmountable, but the trick is to "not boil the ocean" and follow the programming principle of YAGNI, you aren't gonna need it. In other words, start simple and solve problems as they arise.

Our basic program design is very simple: We do look for words and patterns and put stuff into moderation based on matches. We have two kinds of matches: words and phrases, and regular expressions. Regular expressions use a symbolic grammar that any programmer will know, and can be used to scan for things like phone numbers, email addresses, social media account names, or attempts to obfuscate same. These kinds of regular expressions exist and can be Googled and used and you don't have to reinvent the wheel. Our CMS allows the forum manager to edit the banned phrases and regexes himself, although for regex it's mostly done in consultation with the developer.

The result of a match can be:

-- Putting the comment into moderation

    -- Deleting the comment unread

-- Banning comments from the IP address or a C-block for a period of time or indefinitely

-- Posting the comment for a certain period of time, say 30 minutes, then autodeleting it

-- "Tachy goes to Coventry," a feature of vBulletin, similar to shadow banning, where a comment is visible only from a particular IP address or C-block, but not visible to anyone else; if the troll or vandal gets no attention, he takes his ball and goes home

In the beginning though, just sending to moderation is all you need, YAGNI and all.
    , @Anonymous
The problem is that bad posts (e.g. calls for violence against identifiable individuals) may be deleted, but once posted are on record forever.
    , @Almost Missouri
I like Anatoly's blog too, but as I recall, Steve has maybe 6x-8x the traffic of Anatoly's site. Anatoly often has hundreds of comments. So unfiltering Steve's traffic would probably mean thousands of comments. And presumably this extra volume comes from lower quality tranches.

If Anatoly reaches Steve's volume, he may find that laissez-faire no longer works.

Maybe Steve could unfilter certain posts as an experiment. On the occasional open thread, for instance.

Fiction. Specifically the black and asian stats. The last census actually said that the black population fell. Nonsense. Big increase in South asians in recent years also.
The situation in Ireland in brief: Brexit and Trump radicalised the left liberal establishment. There is no hope in sight. If there were a general election tomorrow I wouldn't vote.

Anybody else find it odd that Irish are only 82% of Ireland’s population?
    , @amen
The prime minister of Ireland is an openly gay half Indian, no way the country is just 2.1% "Asian".

FOREST FIRE! Aha, those damn immigrants! Build wall!
BUT WAIT! The fire was started by a border patrol agent! Impeach Drumpf!
JUST A MOMENT! The border patrol agent is a tranny, and he started the fire accidentally, as an effect for a “gender reveal celebration!” Activate Pence!

    https://www.boston25news.com/news/national/border-patrol-agent-pleads-guilty-to-starting-wildfire-with-genderreveal-celebration/845237637

A gender reveal celebration went horribly wrong and caused a 47,000-acre wildfire in Arizona. Now an off-duty Border Patrol agent is being held responsible for sparking the Sawmill Fire last year.

    • Replies: @Carol
    Where did you get that?

"Dickey shot at a target in April 2017 to announce the gender of the child he and his wife were expecting"

    Did the story change?
    , @Jack D
"gender reveal celebration" - I do not think this means what you think this means.

The Border Patrol Agent is not a tranny. He is a very heterosexual man with a wife and (by now) child. At the "gender reveal celebration" they were going to (thanks to modern ultrasound technology) let all of their friends and family know the gender of the baby that they were then expecting by shooting at a target. The target was filled with tannerite that was either pink or blue - the color of the explosion would reveal to all the gender of the baby (while starting a massive wildfire)

    https://tannerite.com/

So this is the fault of those god damn heterosexuals with their god damn babies and their god damn gender reveal parties.

    LOL
  17. GET EDUCATED

    https://www.al.com/news/index.ssf/2018/09/unburdening_the_white_man.html

“We, fellow white men, have a choice. We can resist this change through futile measures, each incrementally more desperate and barbaric than the last. We can quarantine minorities into gerrymandered districts. We can put children in cages on our borders. We can put sexual assault survivors before inquisitions in the United States Senate.

Or we can embrace change, make our peace, and share the table.

The American Story hasn’t always been true, and might not ever have been true, but that doesn’t mean it has to be a lie.

It can be a promise our forebearers made many generations ago, and a promise our generation gets to keep.”

However, I am ready to bet $100,000 that, only 20 years ago, 99% of the Irish population would have found this article not only insane but also incomprehensible. It would be the equivalent of an article in 2038 complaining about the over-representation of men over 6 feet in the NBA and demanding that 20% of players should be midgets.

The West has decided that is time to commit civilization suicide and is committed to its own destruction with religious fervor.

The Irish Minister for Youth and Children is Katherine Zappone. She is an American lesbian. She was a vociferous proponent of the successful referendum which legalized abortion in Ireland, presumably easing her workload.
She had a minor scandal when it was revealed she was chiseling the Irish taxpayer out of thousands in unearned travel expenses.
Ireland seems to be going through its Episode of “New Labour” twenty years after the UK.
I’ve said it here before, but the Irish political class is an order of magnitude worse than the American, and I take a back seat to no one in my contempt for them.

A Quebec First electoral triumph that, among other things, will reduce the number of immigrants by 10k a year (yeah, yeah but a step in the right direction!) and a test after 3 years of residency in the French Language and Basic Quebec Culture.
This is a major blow to Trudeau’s “vision”, his own home base ousted him good and hard

it's too late for Canada...France, Holland, Germany and Sweden. It's too late. When you have laws in your country who say negative things about immigrants in your country, and arrests citizens, your indigenous people, into court....you have lost your country.
    , @J.Ross
I don't know how much it hurts Trudy. Quebec is allowed to be unapologetically nationalist precisely because it is Quebec, their behavior can be shrugged off as Quebeckers gonna Bloc; it never spills over to, and would never be allowed to echo in, say, Alberta.
It is funny to note that Canada's equivalent of a USAPATRIOT act (technically, Canadians have no rights at all, and the PM can call an emergency and grab people off the street at the drop of a hat) came about as a result of Trudy's stepdad mishandling Quebecker terrorists in the Seventies.
    , @anon
It is a bit of a paradox. Quebec 100% supported the Liberal party throughout Canadian history. This was 100% the party of mass immigration (especially from the third world) to Canada. Its supreme leader was French-Canadian Quebecker Pierre Trudeau. He was the very champion of non-white immigration. Quebec voted for him en masse in FIVE elections in a row. He was the father of multiculturalism (read anti-white) in Canada and was quoted as saying "it doesn't matter where the immigrants come from".

The Quebecois NEVER had a problem with this so long as it WAS English Canada getting watered down. What goes around comes around.

Depends on what his plans are for after he leaves office. He's only 56 years old - nearly three full decades younger than Orrin Hatch and Dianne Feinstein. If he's planning to become any kind of lobbyist there's no chance in hell he votes against Kavanaugh, unless the FBI actually happens to dig up real dirt on him.

Simply put, if his final significant act as a Republican senator is to vote against an intelligent, well-qualified, conservative Republican Supreme Court nominee then his value as a lobbyist is precisely zero. I can't imagine Republican pols ever going near him, though perhaps I'm just not cynical enough about politics.

If his plan is to get a talking head gig with CNN or MSNBC or whatever then, well, that's a completely different matter.

Stop manually approving your comments. It completely ruins your comment section and eliminates the possibility of conversation. I don’t know what’s wrong with Boomers that they think this is needed.

The job may seem insurmountable, but the trick is to “not boil the ocean” and follow the programming principle of YAGNI, you aren’t gonna need it.

These kinds of regular expressions exist and can be Googled and used and you don’t have to reinvent the wheel. Our CMS allows the forum manager to edit the banned phrases and regexes himself, although for regex it’s mostly done in consultation with the developer.

The result of a match can be:

    — Putting the comment into moderation

    — Deleting the comment unread

    — Banning comments from the IP address or a C-block for a period of time or indefinitely

    — Posting the comment for a certain period of time, say 30 minutes, then autodeleting it

    — “Tachy goes to Coventry,” a feature of vBulletin, similar to shadow banning, where a comment is visible only from a particular IP address or C-block, but not visible to anyone else; if the troll or vandal gets no attention, he takes his ball and goes home

In the beginning though, just sending to moderation is all you need, YAGNI and all.

He was the father of multiculturalism (read anti-white) in Canada and was quoted as saying “it doesn’t matter where the immigrants come from”.

The Quebecois NEVER had a problem with this so long as it WAS English Canada getting watered down. What goes around comes around.

Quebec’s been getting watered down by immigration too, if perhaps not as fast as Anglo-Canada. Immigration is basically the reason that the Quebec’s 1995 independence referendum failed.

“gender reveal celebration” – I do not think this means what you think this means.

The Border Patrol Agent is not a tranny. He is a very heterosexual man with a wife and (by now) child. At the “gender reveal celebration” they were going to (thanks to modern ultrasound technology) let all of their friends and family know the gender of the baby that they were then expecting by shooting at a target. The target was filled with tannerite that was either pink or blue – the color of the explosion would reveal to all the gender of the baby (while starting a massive wildfire)

So this is the fault of those god damn heterosexuals with their god damn babies and their god damn gender reveal parties.

There was a time about 20 years ago when Ireland was thriving, and the businessmen wanted more immigrants. At that point the Irish government encouraged Irish-Americans to relocate to Ireland. Irish-Americans (who outnumbered Irish citizens by about 10:1) were given preference in Immigration. I knew some Nee Yorkers who were considering the move.

I doubt this makes the Irish unique amongst Europeans, but I believe if you have an Irish parent or grandparent you’re eligible and fast tracked for Irish citizenship.

The researchers try and play down the real reason why so few foreigners are primary school teachers. Simple explanation. To become a primary school teacher in Ireland you have to be fluent in Gaelic. An unforgivingly difficult language which is deeply unpopular with the native population nevermind immigrants, barely 3% of natives can hold a conversation in it despite 14 years of compulsory instruction. Immigrants themselves don’t complain about their underrepresentation, they’re only too happy to be spared the ordeal of learning Gaelic.

Primary school teachers are 90% female too but that particular underrepresentation apparently isn’t so dreadful

Get Jewish Minister of Justice and Equality, start taking in plenty o' migrants, elect a half-Indian homosexual as Prime Minister, vote Ireland YES to introducing abortion, and voila, here you are. The progression seems inevitable and inexorable, and presumably there's more to come.

Don’t forget their referendum in favor of homosexual “marriage”.

  134. Ireland finally threw off the twin yokes of the UK and the Vatican, just to yoke itself to Diversity™, which will surely do much more harm to Ireland than any pope or king has ever done

  135. @Don't Look at Me
These people resisted the Brits for decades, then just roll over and submit for diversity.

    Can we reanimate the IRA?

Maybe they didn’t actually give a crap about the Brits. Maybe it was just about power, power to impose their own left wing agenda.

The fact is that 'diversity' fairly quickly turns into dispossession ... and worse, eg Zimbabwe and South Africa.

It’s not suicide. The globalists pushing this hate the West. The people of the West were never asked for their consent.

So True. Never asked; always tricked. But where’s the outrage? And how did a half Indian queer get to be Prime Minister of Ireland? I thought the Irish were tough, but hey, too, have fallen for the ruse.

What’s green, a mile long and has an IQ of 120?

    A St. Patrick’s Day parade.

I am not Irish and have never lived in Ireland.

The majority of trainee primary school teachers are white, Irish and Catholic...

I thought that was the whole point of the Republic of Ireland.

Anyway, they've already had a Hispanic president. Isn't that enough?

    http://historyhub.ie/assets/De-Valera_Chief-365x255.jpg

De Valera’s alleged father could never be traced. One biographer believes he was the son of a local landowner in County Limerick by whom his mother became pregnant before she went to America.

  142. De Valera’s alleged father could never be traced.

Still, he looks awfully Spanish to me. More so than Irish.

And not out of place in that headdress, either.

  143. An Irish female judge (“Ms Justice”! Really!) doesn’t believe a fellow woman’s charges against a man:

Irish mother ordered to return son to estranged husband’s country

Judge noted foreign court considered it necessary to vest custody of the child with his father

The child is from “another European country”, but that doesn’t mean he’s European. The court, not the press, is apparently withholding the information.

  144. @Rosie

As a society becomes more feminist it becomes more anti White and pro non White immigrant. If a society does not properly repress women this what you get. “Too many Irish in Ireland.”

Whiskey, you think I could get a grant from one of the hundreds of White male billionaires in the world to start up a professional activist organization for conservative women?

    No?

    Me neither.

I adore this response of yours! – late, super late, but whatevah.

many younger American people don’t know that the 60’s-70’s in the Berkshires, was a yuge time for music making. Woodstock left a footprint in the Northeast. Many artists/groups make the trip to the age-old opera houses and storied theaters (Theeeaters, in TX-speak) . We have had Tanglewood, Jacob’s Pillow for 35+ years, about 100 other festivals. Berks are yuge. Have loved it but leaving it.
