From WKRN in Nashville, TN:

14 students charged after large fight at John Overton H.S.

Published: November 21, 2017

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Fourteen teenage students, twelve juveniles and two adults, were taken into police custody after a large fight at John Overton High School on Tuesday. …

According to a Metro Schools spokesperson, the fight may have stemmed between rival gangs. Metro police later added the students appear to be of Latino and Kurdish descent.

As we all know, racial conflict is due to white racism. If they weren’t all so exhausted, I’m sure a Studies major would be along any time now to explain how this one fits that paradigm.

At Grant H.S. in the San Fernando Valley, there have been Armenian-Mexican mass brawls of several hundred students off and on since the 1970s.

Exactly. There is no end of ways in which a "one people" nation is superior to a tribalized dystopia.

Christian Europe--especially northern Europe--over a couple millennia built more and more nations that came closer and closer to being "one people" nations, with just a couple tribes--Jews and Gypsies--as notable recalcitrant outsiders. The US by 1960, with over a generation of relatively low immigration, was homogenizing and closing in on being a "one people" nation, with the only the relatively intractable blacks a large group outside. Outside the West, Japan and then Korea have built really nice nations by being one people.

But the Jewish ascendency has brought into our ruling class a deep hostility to the idea of a nation, a national people--at least for white gentiles. So it's been increasing "diversity", and tribal conflict is our future as far as one can see.

Definitely the reason at John Overton High School. They were probably only fighting over the most effective strategy for having the name of the school changed. Overton had engaged in the slave trade circa 1800 and was an adviser to Andrew Jackson. No doubt, oppression oozes from the stone letters spelling his name.

    1948-1989 170 murders per year

I can assure you the murder rate in South Africa was well north of 170 per year under Apartheid - and I'm talking approaching 2 orders of magnitude north.

A rate of 170 murders per year pans out at around 0.4 per 100,000 per year, which is around the rate of Singapore and Japan, half that of the UK and an eighth of the US's. Just no way.

Some current numbers by way of comparison - rates per 100,00 per year - including South Africa and all her neighbours...

    US - 4.9
    UK - 0.9
    Switzerland - 0.7
    Japan - 0.3
    Singapore - 0.25

South Africa - 34 - this is about on a par with the city of Chicago
    Botswana - 11
    Namibia - 17
    Lesotho - 38
    Swaziland - 8.3
    Mozambique - 3.4 (I just don't believe this number)
Zimbabwe - 6.7 (I'm sceptical of this one)

    , @AndrewR
Maybe 170 white people were murdered each year under apartheid. But murders in the entire country among all people? That doesn't even pass the sniff test.

Some years ago I read an account of an ongoing feud between Albanians and blacks at a NY metro high school. The Albanians had a tendency to wear their “national” colors, and one of the blacks interviewed by the reporter acknowledged that he understood that these were their national colors, but they still had to stop this because these were also the colors of an opposing local gang. The Albanians weren’t having it though. I don’t know what happened.

  14. As much as we don’t like to see gang wars in our high schools, it would be a much greater tragedy if we had never had this diversity to begin with. It’s all about the food to me. I want to be able to eat real bean kurds made by real kurds (not Dominicans), and real refried beans fried twice by real beaners.

This was probably nothing but a glorified food fight, come to think of it. You remember food fights, don’t you?

I do not always try to confirm the data in comments I post here -- in some cases eg when the data seems 'ballpark' correct, the comment is just to make a point, eg here that crime, including/especially murder, is significantly higher in SA under black rule than it was under apartheid -- which I think is generally true -- but I also doubt the discrepancy is that big -- I found one study, and it clearly says that crime data for SA before 1994 (when white rule ended) is difficult to find -- basically the same study (by McCafferty) can be read here and here -- if you look at the graphs/charts, it's pretty clear that there are many more killings per capita today than under apartheid -- it also says this:

The failure of the criminal justice system is portrayed by the following statistics, for every 1,000 crimes committed in South Africa, only 430 criminals are arrested, furthermore, only 77 are convicted and despite the huge numbers of serious crimes of violence committed (remember a third of all South Africa’s crime is violent), only 8 are sentenced to 2 or more years of imprisonment.3 Further, it is estimated that South Africa has a 94% recidivism rate (i.e. 94% of all persons released after serving a sentence immediately become involved in crime again)

  19. The Heartland has become like one of those video games or History shows where, say, the Roman Army fights the Wehrmacht, or the Mongols battle the Viet Cong (or a shark fights a bear). I wonder if this is the first time the Kurds have battled Latinos. Who won? Were the Latinos Mexican or something else? Just fists, or were weapons involved? It is important for gamers to know if they want to choose right next time.

  20. I would think that Armenian-American students at Grant H S are very largely of East Armenian extraction. Correct me if I’m wrong.
Armenians fall into 2 distinct groups – Eastern and Western – with different dialects and history. Western Armenians were part of the Byzantine Empire. They supplied much of its aristocracy and not a few of its Emperors. After conquest, they became part of the Ottoman Empire. They continued to supply much of the Empire’s merchants, craftsmen and scholars. They were a highly urbanised and literate group. They were forcibly expelled from Anatolia from 1915 onwards, with great loss of life. Some consider this a Genocide.
Eastern Armenians were never part of the Byzantine Empire. They were subject to invasions from Persians, Arabs, Georgians , Turks et al, but they kept on pushing back and ultimately regained their independence. They were tough country folk, not the cultured emigrees that one often associates with Armenia.
So the fighting Armenians at Grant are probably Sovoks.

Interesting. Most of the CA Armenians that I know talk about generational differences, with the respectable, pre-Soviet Breakeup Armenians expressing a strong dislike for the thuggish, post-Soviet wave.
    , @RadicalCenter
We spend a fair amount of time in Glendale, California, which has more Armenians than any other city outside of Armenia except for (maybe) Los Angeles.

I can assure you that "cultured émigré" is not the term that comes readily to mind.
    , @patrick
Quite a few Byzantine emperors or generals were Armenian (either directly from Western Armenia or from Armenian colonists in Macedonia and Italy). Romanos I Lekapenos, John Tzimiskes, and Basil I (the founder of the so-called Macedonian dynasty), and Narses, who reconquered Italy in the 6th century, were all semi-Hellenized/Romanized Armenians.

These Armenians at least were able to assimilate to the empire's Greco-Roman/Christian culture and take their place ruling and defending an empire that lasted 1000 years. I don't think America will last even half as long as the Eastern Roman Empire did.

As for Kurds, the Isaurian dynasty (which was notorious for its role in the Iconoclast controversy, as well as for losing northern and central Italy to the Franks and Lombards) may have been what we call Kurdish today. They seem to have been descended from Iranian-speaking highlanders in southeastern Anatolia. Leo the Isaurian, the founder of the dynasty, was able to save Constantinople from an Arab siege using Greek fire (an early version of napalm, fired from flamethrowers) so he at least wasn't all bad.

As much as we don't like to see gang wars in our high schools, it would be a much greater tragedy if we had never had this diversity to begin with. It's all about the food to me. I want to be able to eat real bean kurds made by real kurds (not Dominicans), and real refried beans fried twice by real beaners.

This was probably nothing but a glorified food fight, come to think of it. You remember food fights, don't you?

  35. Tennessee is being targetized for demographic destruction by the Deep State of the American Empire. Tennessee, according to Refugee Resettlement Watch’s Ann Corcoran, has been set up for an invasionary inundation of Third Worlders.

Using the Refugee Resettlement racket and other immigration invasion methods, the Deep State of the American Empire has decided to demographically transform the state of Tennessee. The Deep State is not just the overpaid and bloated intelligence agencies, it is also the squalid pigs in the Cheap Labor Faction. Tyson and other cheap labor businesses want an oversupply of labor in Tennessee to keep wages low. The invasionary hordes of foreigners are used to prevent any wage inflation in the labor market.

The League of the South had a rally in Shelbyville, Tennessee to bring attention to the Refugee Overload in middle Tennessee. That is where Tyson Foods has a meat processing plant that uses cheap foreign labor to undercut American wages.

The Republican Party must remove the politician whores who support the Cheap Labor Faction. Marco Rubio should be the one to use as a case study in how to remove a Cheap Labor Faction whore from the Republican Party. Marco Rubio Must Go.

Some years ago I read an account of an ongoing feud between Albanians and blacks at a NY metro high school. The Albanians had a tendency to wear their "national" colors, and one of the blacks interviewed by the reporter acknowledged that he understood that these were their national colors, but they still had to stop this because these were also the colors of an opposing local gang. The Albanians weren't having it though. I don't know what happened.

It all turned out okay. There was a huge block party as the credits rolled.

It's absolutely deliberate. The Obama administration was settling Syrian refugees in Idaho, and the Clinton administration settled Somalis in Minnesota. I've even heard that there are a number of Somalis in Grand Island, Neb. Beyond that, the Supreme Court ruled that subsidized housing cannot be exclusively placed in urban, minority areas.

I would think that Armenian-American students at Grant H S are very largely of East Armenian extraction. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Armenians fall into 2 distinct groups - Eastern and Western - with different dialects and history. Western Armenians were part of the Byzantine Empire. They supplied much of its aristocracy and not a few of its Emperors. After conquest, they became part of the Ottoman Empire. They continued to supply much of the Empire's merchants, craftsmen and scholars.

I’ve even heard that there are a number of Somalis in Grand Island, Neb. Beyond that, the Supreme Court ruled that subsidized housing cannot be exclusively placed in urban, minority areas.

    They’re deliberately targeting whitopias.

Two groups that until recent times had no significant presence in Tennessee.

Exactly. There is no end of ways in which a “one people” nation is superior to a tribalized dystopia.

Christian Europe–especially northern Europe–over a couple millennia built more and more nations that came closer and closer to being “one people” nations, with just a couple tribes–Jews and Gypsies–as notable recalcitrant outsiders. The US by 1960, with over a generation of relatively low immigration, was homogenizing and closing in on being a “one people” nation, with the only the relatively intractable blacks a large group outside. Outside the West, Japan and then Korea have built really nice nations by being one people.

But the Jewish ascendency has brought into our ruling class a deep hostility to the idea of a nation, a national people–at least for white gentiles. So it’s been increasing “diversity”, and tribal conflict is our future as far as one can see.

I beseech Steve to encase your comment in the golden box; it is epic on multiple levels. I have scenarios racing through my head about what powers and weaknesses each should have. A bonus for superhuman fecundity should certainly be involved with these two mobs, but both so obviously qualify for it the assignment is impossible…. Other dilemmas abound: does the Kurd’s horrible halitosis and poor hygiene trump the beaners’ gas?

Hell of a fight in Murfreesboro outside Nashville over mosques years ago. The native Whites didn't want the town filled with minarets. Too late. Meanwhile, the entire region is majority Latino/Black/Muslim together, Whites the new majority in the Southern town my pop grew up in, circa 1919-1939.

Weird. Is it a college town?

Middle Tennessee State Uni is there. I doubt they were fighting the Muslim hordes they're stuck with now. In twenty years' time, the town turned into a combo of Tijuana, BC Mexico and Dearborn, Syria and Libya rolled into one. They've become the catch-all for a huge number of section 8 refugees from the Groid Integration project, so many in fact, they're bumping up against the Section 8 Hispanic fringe, hence, the troubles. A testing ground for the future, this will tell us who will win the future, Muslim Patriarchy or Hispanic Patriarchy., Both, in their native, natural state, are violent, abusive patriarchies. Just the ideal spot for the young feminist lovelies at Middle Tennessee State to learn their new place in the world. I'm quite excited for the new Patriarchies to come into play. I used to argue against them, but my biggest enemies are women at the Feminist level. So LET them live under Islam. I get my rightful male privilege back and the feminist shit stain won't be able to say a word because the Muslims and Hispanics are the dark people. And it doesn't matter a bit to me that violent Muslims and Hispanics got it back for me. Hey, I tried. LET them learn to live with it. Likely, we'll find that they prefer a patriarchy, one strong enough to tell them to return to the kitchen, to lose weight, to stop defiling themselves..

Interesting. Armenians and Kurds are similar genetically.

If true, that didn't keep the Kurds from massacring Armenians during the Armenian genocide.

It didn’t stop the massacres in Bosnia either (both Serbs and Muslims were of the same Slavic ethnic background) or the Troubles in Northern Ireland (the Protestants in NI are more Scottish than English).

These Armenians at least were able to assimilate to the empire’s Greco-Roman/Christian culture and take their place ruling and defending an empire that lasted 1000 years. I don’t think America will last even half as long as the Eastern Roman Empire did.

Leo the Isaurian, the founder of the dynasty, was able to save Constantinople from an Arab siege using Greek fire (an early version of napalm, fired from flamethrowers) so he at least wasn’t all bad.

Before we rush to judgement on the Latinos I've heard and read that the Kurds can be quite the bastards to deal with. They've formed gangs and organized crime gangs in and around Nashville, so they are far from the innocent little refugees people think they are.

Since the fracas involved two diversities there is no hate crime and the media will try to bury this as soon as they can so people don't start thinking that diversity might be bad.

As a perniciously and manically violent gangster-tribe the Kurds have beaten the Yardies, Turks, so-called “Triads” and various petty Balkan clans into the second division in England, particularly in Norflanden but spreading their domain/manor to other cities with alarming rapidity.

    http://londonstreetgangs.blogspot.co.uk/2013/01/north-west-london-gangs.html

    http://www.independent.co.uk/news/caution-you-are-about-to-enter-gangland-britain-1597228.html

Police mystified, as no amount of affirmative action and hands-off community policing combined with lavish inducements and strenuous re-education of the troglodyte native Brits seems to have any effect.
Next step is incarceration of any English kindergarten pupils who are obviously causing these poor suffering refugees to act so appallingly, by refusing to acknowledge their unconscious racist hate-beams.

"We’re enabling conflicts between races that never even came into contact with each other before we foolishly admitted them to our country."

You could have said the same about the British and the Irish, or the Dutch and the Spanish, or the Russian and the Serbian, etc. Were they "foolishly admitted"?

And Kurds and Latinos are not "races".

OK you did it, finally raised a chuckle from me. Well played sir!

Brits completely unaware of Fenians since at least the late iron age, and never laid a finger on them (and vice versa).

Dutch ignorant of their servile status under the Spanish Empire of Carlos V Hapsburg from 1482 on, while Christopher Columbus was still getting his boots on.
No rebellions and counter suppressions, Holy Inquisition totally not involved.

Ivan the Terrible’s mom totally not a Serb. Shedloads of Serbs did not flee the Hapsburgs, and the Grand Turk hisself, into the Donbass.

Latinexes never refer to “La Raza”.
    Etc.

I used to think you were just a provincial simpleton. Turns out I’ve got egg on my face, you are in fact a highly skilled troll and wind-up merchant. “The Blackest Crow” indeed, I’ll bet you’re as pasty-white as me!
