From MetroTimes in Detroit:

Detroit Rep. Bettie Cook Scott on Asian opponent: ‘Don’t vote for the ching-chong!’

Posted By Violet Ikonomova on Thu, Aug 16, 2018 at 11:09 am

More than a dozen community groups have called on Rep. Bettie Cook Scott (D-Detroit) to apologize for a series of racial slurs sources say she used to describe her primary election opponent, Rep. Stephanie Chang (D-Detroit).

Scott is alleged to have referred to Chang as “ching-chang”

It’s important to be sensitive to the gender of your racial slurs

and “the ching-chong” to multiple voters outside polling precincts during last Tuesday’s election. She’s also said to have called one of Chang’s campaign volunteers an “immigrant,” saying “you don’t belong here” and “I want you out of my country.”

Chang and Scott were running in the Democratic primary for state Sen. District 1. Chang won the election with 49 percent of the vote; Scott came in third with 11 percent of the vote. …

The various off-color remarks were heard by multiple people connected with Chang, including Chang’s husband, who spoke with Metro Times. Sean Gray says after overhearing Cook disparage Chang outside a precinct on the east side of Detroit, “I … asked her not to speak about my wife in that manner. At that time she said to the voter that ‘these immigrants from China are coming over and taking our community from us.’ Further, she said it ‘disgusts her seeing black people holding signs for these Asians and not supporting their own people.’”

Gray, who is black, says Scott then went on to call him a “fool” for marrying Chang.

‘When you hear someone that’s a minority and a woman using slurs against another minority that’s a woman, it’s just mind boggling.’

America’s ever more diverse future will boggle more than a few minds.

Why won’t somebody put a white blanket over her head, like at Oberlin, in 2013, and give everybody in Detroit a White Male hate figure to unify against?

LOL. Sean Gray is a fool for marrying Chang? What instead of a righteous black woman like her? Or does she mean instead of a becky ;-)

I’d say it’s the reverse, what the heck was Chang thinking?

"Where's ICE?" was a gift from black women. It's a much better slogan than "lock her up", and exposes the dissonance between the black chattering classes (who support Zeroth Amendment) and ordinary blacks (who are straightforwardly nativist and want the immigrants gone). Trump's supporters haven't capitalized on it; they could be shouting it at rallies and wearing it on T-shirts.

I read last night that New Zealand put in a foreign ownership ban. (Obvious to keep Chinese money from running up property prices to unaffordable levels.) Intentionally, or unintentionally Blacks apparently have the secret.

Look, what happens if you call an opponent something like “Ching-chong” (or chang, whatever).

Furthermore say you are white. What happens is the media appears and flying monkeys come out of their ass. Or the usual suspects show up on the talking head shows and bloviate. Or Jimmy Kimmel and Colbert make funny (well theoretically) snide comments.

But Blacks don’t give a Flaming F*@k about any of that. Nothing will happen to this lady, and odds are she wins the race.

If you are white most people in your electorate don’t care either, unless you are in a snowflake district like northern Virginia.

So unless you are in a dicey district for this sort of thing, or the national party gets their undies in a wad like Roy Moore, just flip the media the bird (I would literally do that), and ching-chong away.

True, but Michigan has term limits for the House (3), and she has reached it. By losing in this week's primary for the Democratic race for the state senate, Bettie Cook Scott's elected political career is over, at least at the state level.

Now, she could still fit right in on the Detroit City Council - which has its own fine tradition of "colorful" name-calling. This hilarious clip features the legendary "Shrek" argument between Ken Cockrel and Monica Conyers, wife of the ancient, disgraced and "me-tooed" John Conyers:

As Jared Taylor has said, Blacks appreciate straight talk from Whites.

In the tradition of "One man with courage makes a majority," the more Blacks hear Trump, the more they like him. (This is, at least, my best idea on the matter.)

See also the brief I-Steve post "Donald Trump is the White Don King" [Feb. 2016]:

[Al Sharpton:] “The best way I can describe Donald Trump to friends is to say if Don King had been born white he’d be Donald Trump. Both of them are great self-promoters and great at just continuing to talk even if you’re not talking back at them.”

“Don King had me fly with him and Trump to Atlantic [City] in Trump’s helicopter, and it was one of the most memorable things in my life to sit on that big, black Trump helicopter, both of them talking nonstop, not listening to each other. And I’m sitting there. It was probably the longest ride I ever was on. Both of them shut me up.”

My favourite child of East Germany is forming a new political movement:

New German movement aims to stem migration & offer direction to ‘weak and split’ EU left
    Published time: 16 Aug, 2018 00:06

The leader of Germany’s Left Party Sahra Wagenknecht has launched a new political movement called ‘Stand Up,’ which aims to be a voice for workers and to unite a divided left across Europe.
While left-wing and not against immigration on principle, the new ‘Aufstehen’ movement presents a case for limiting the number of migrants coming to Germany looking for work, arguing that “unlimited access” to the German labor market is unsustainable and cannot continue.

“There have to be open borders for the persecuted, but we certainly can’t say that anyone who wants to may come to Germany, claim social benefits and look for work — it’s detached from reality,” Wagenknecht said.

Local details: Metro Times is our local weekly free prostitute advertising rag (cf The Stranger in the Pacific Northwest or The OC Weekly in SoCal). They do sometimes have good work on local politics. Somebody is going around, nailing their distribution boxes closed, and posting some kind of Sovereign Citizen pseudo-official-looking “public notice” because of the prostitute advertising. (It’s not me.)
Many of our local black legislators are reliable sources of human interest content. There’s the guy who ran for state senate despite a prison record (he briefly lived near my parents),

    https://www.mlive.com/news/index.ssf/2016/08/michigan_lawmaker_arraigned_on.html

the guy who liked chasing younger men and talking at length about his six-pack abs (“some people say it’s an eight-pack”),

    http://www.michiganradio.org/post/charles-pugh-should-take-responsibility-his-absence

there’s the guy (of course an anti-gun democrat) who blasted his girlfriend’s car with a shotgun,

    http://gunsnfreedom.com/anti-gun-lawmaker-shoots-shotgun-at-girlfriends-car/5087

and, when he’s not drinking and driving, you got the Brigadier General of Judaism:

    https://www.wxyz.com/news/state-rep-jewell-jones-facing-charges-for-allegedly-driving-with-open-intoxicants

Note, when the king of comically idiotic Michigan black politicians, Kwame Kilpatrick, was still shoving policemen around, the Metro Times tried defending him. Its summary of his downfall ends on a sympathetic note.
And of course, we’ve got white idiots too, like these lovebirds:

    http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2016/02/26/ex-michigan-lawmakers-face-felony-charges-over-affair.html

The last time there was this obvious a fraying of the coalition of the different was a white union guy genuflecting as before a Renaissance patron, while his black city councilwoman superior barked that his union members didn’t “look like” her constituents.
    At Wiki:

During a heated council meeting discussing the deal, [Monica Conyers] told Isaac Robinson, a white official of the Teamsters union, that most of the people that work at the show “don’t look like me. They look like you.”[27] She was quick to deny any implications of racism to the media when questioned about the comments. Conyers went on to claim “Black people cannot be racist”.[28]

Right now of course we’re solidly behind John James, who will hopefully unseat Debbie Stabenow in the fall.

I seem to recall a poll from a few years ago asking about how many people of various groups think other groups are racist, and blacks were considered the most racist by even other black people.

That said, some of this is that I think it is dawning on some blacks that the Obama years were the high tide of black political power in this country. The days where the Democrats were a coalition of upper class white progressives, mostly white union/working class members, and blacks are gone forever. They are no longer the only official victim group in America and in a generation there will be twice as many Latinos and nearly as many Asians, and whites still a plurality of the electorate. As traditionally black stronghold become more ‘diverse’ there are going to be a lot fewer voters that will vote for the traditional black politician over a latino or Asian one if given the opportunity.

But she's currently in Michigan's lower house, so she's a state legislator.

True, but Michigan has term limits for the House (3), and she has reached it. By losing in this week’s primary for the Democratic race for the state senate, Bettie Cook Scott’s elected political career is over, at least at the state level.

Now, she could still fit right in on the Detroit City Council – which has its own fine tradition of “colorful” name-calling. This hilarious clip features the legendary “Shrek” argument between Ken Cockrel and Monica Conyers, wife of the ancient, disgraced and “me-tooed” John Conyers:

We’ve just abandoned Detroit (“the Paris of the Midwest”) completely to the negroes, even the Jews were white flighted out of more than one sector of the city. We’ve had Bob Miles, retired quasi-State insurance executive and putative Grand Wizard running psy-ops* on his farm in Livingston County and the Michigan Militia LARPing in Lenawee County. More recently, the Dexter Militia has been LARPing away in 1% negro Dexter less than an hour from 800,000 negroes in Wayne County and in the same county (Washtenaw) as Uber-Liberal University of Michigan. Not even Linh Dinh of Unzian fame thought it noteworthy when he visited friends in Ann Arbor and Dexter. https://annarborobserver.com/articles/mark_koernke_s_war_full_article.html#.W3Y1jhopChA

Nobody finds any of this at all odd. Nobody thinks it peculiar we have Riyadh between Ann Arbor and Detroit nor Muskegon or Benton Harbor (can’t even keep traffic lights working) on the shores of lily white vacation wonderland Lake Michigan. Nobody bats an eye at the Stryker kids (one gay, one lesbo) communist billionaire activists in Kalamazoo County. The publisher of the International Jew, Henry Ford, has a great great grandson who hired International Jew Mark Fields to run granddaddy”s company and no irony was noted. We had billionaire white guys like Penske and Karmanos bribing Kwame Kilpatrick to vacate Detroit for Dallas openly and publicly, no outcry.

Trust me when I say that this will vanish from all public awareness within a day or two here. In fact, it’s such a nothingburger I found out about it from Steve in Hollyweird CA. The next FedGov excavation of a back yard in Macomb County looking for Jimmy Hoffa will be much bigger news.

Why has trump gone from 19% to 35%+ among blacks over the last year?

As Jared Taylor has said, Blacks appreciate straight talk from Whites.

In the tradition of “One man with courage makes a majority,” the more Blacks hear Trump, the more they like him. (This is, at least, my best idea on the matter.)

See also the brief I-Steve post “Donald Trump is the White Don King” [Feb.

Some days I'm convinced half the trouble with relations between Negroes and Europeans is the latter's inclination to tiptoe around reality when it only makes them seem stupider, weaker, and condescending to Negroes. It’s only mind-boggling to people who think Whites are the only humans that are capable of showing racial animosity.

"There have to be open borders for the persecuted, but we certainly can't say that anyone who wants to may come to Germany, claim social benefits and look for work — it's detached from reality,” Wagenknecht said.

  64. Scott Adams has recently resorted to virtue signalling about Detroit by promoting something called “The Blight Authority” which advertises itself as a clearing house for ideas about how to deal with the large swaths of Detroit’s real estate that has negative value.

Many will take my idea as satire, but it really isn’t. The only way in which I might view it as satire is that despite the fact that it would almost certainly improve the situation, it exposes a principle of civilization in such stark relief that it could bring down many-a house of cards from so-called “libertarians” to Marxists, both economic and cultural. It would also be an embarrassment to would be “leaders” of white nationalists for the same reason.
