Slavery is one of the more vibrant customs that The Diverse are injecting into stodgy old America by doing us the favor of immigrating here. From NorthJersey.com:

NJ woman charged with enslavement, accused of forcing woman to work 9 years with no pay
Hannan Adely, North Jersey Record Published 3:23 p.m. ET Dec. 12, 2018

A Secaucus woman has been accused of enslavement for allegedly forcing a Sri Lankan national to work for nine years without pay, federal prosecutors said.

Alia Imad Faleh Al Hunaity, 43, was arraigned Wednesday in federal court in Camden and charged with forced labor, alien harboring and marriage fraud.

Attorneys said Hunaity, also known as Alia Al Qaterneh, brought the victim to the United States in 2009 on a temporary visa for domestic work, then caused her to overstay her visa.

Hunaity allegedly forced the victim to work without pay and limited her interactions with the outside world. In 2018, Hunaity forced the victim to marry her so she could get legal residency and continue to work without pay, according to court documents.

See, immigrants are too assimilating rapidly to modern America’s highest values, such as gay marriage, creating more social progress than you thought imaginable. Did boring old 1950s white men like Dwight Eisenhower engage in lesbian marriage slavery?

I don’t think so!

I’m really confused at how the immigration system works these day. I studied immigration law and practice in law school decades ago, but haven’t touched it since.

At that time, if I recall correctly, if you were in the country illegally and wanted to get a visa, especially an immigrant visa that lets you stay indefinitely, you had to return to your home country and apply at the consulate there, receive it, and then reenter the U.S. You could not apply domestically.

In addition, fiancé and spouse visas required that both parties undergo fiendlishly clever interviews, simultaneously, in different rooms, with the interviewers communicating with one another, that were almost impossible to cheat at. And granting of these visa was discretionary to the regulatory agency, not any sort of right or entitlement, so appeals were almost never successful, and the visa could be rejected for any or no reason, including mere suspicion on the part of the immigration official.

Agriculture, Construction and Service Would Be Hard-Hit

Nearly one quarter of restaurant workers in 2016 were foreign-born compared with 18.5 percent for all sectors, according to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, compiled by the National Restaurant Association. A large share are likely undocumented, economists say.
“These workers are often long-tenured and skilled,” said Craig Regelbrugge, senior vice president of industry advocacy and research at AmericanHort, which represents the nursery industry. “They are nothing short of vital to farms, businesses, and rural economies.”
“Each job they perform sustains two to three jobs in the surrounding economy, so even though few Americans seek this field and farm work, the jobs of many Americans and many communities are sustained by their contributions.”

The power of magical thinking. The normal economic thinking tends to say that a factory “sustains” jobs outside of it through its suppliers. This inverted thinking apes Marxist notions of “exploitation” to imply that each coolie is consuming enough Toilet Paper to “sustain” two to three jobs.

50 Shades of Gay – Based on a true story.

Chris Hedges wrote on the danger of stuff like 50 SHADES though he shot himself in the foot by invoking Andrea Dworkin as some sage of social justice.

The problem with promotion of decadence is it has an elitist aristocratic element. For most of history, ordinary people were struggling to survive. It was the rich who had time for decadent fun, and that meant lots of privilege to do as they pleased.
Such freedom, unfettered from moral restraint, has tendency to become nihilistic and sadistic. It gets a kick from kicking others around. Also, such power attracts subservience in those who want to associate with power and privilege. Why does the woman submit herself to all the domination and humiliation in 50 SHADES? The man is rich and powerful. Would she have submitted to a someone like the Burt Young character in ROCKY?
Those with power and privilege gotta get their kicks, and those without power and privilege gotta do the licks. Kicks and Licks. Now, some girls in college openly look for Sugar Daddies. They will do anything for money.

This is why letting homos and trannies run wild and free has had such a deleterious effect on society. Homos and trannies are into decadence, narcissism, and power. They aren’t merely content with tolerance and individual liberty. They love to push the envelope. Look at the lifestyles of even ‘conservative’ homos like Milo and Andrew Sullivan. Homos get a kick out of humiliating those below them and licking those above them. And because they are so rarely faithful, their sexuality is far more ‘political’ than among straights who are more likely to form loyal relationships. A man and a woman bound to one another see sex as between them. But because homos bang everyone and tell each about it, their sex life becomes a game of comparing notes(or business cards) all the time. AMERICAN PSYCHO is a very ‘gay’ view of things.

Because homos are always on the hunt, they are never content with enough or ‘mine'(as opposed to yours). They want all the toys. Even ‘gay marriage’ was a joke. It wasn’t about homos being ‘conservative’ but using the power to own everything, even an institution that doesn’t mean anything to them. A game of power to humiliate and subjugate straight society. The reason why homos hate Milo is he gave the game away. He wasn’t supposed to. In his book, he talks of how homos are a natural aristocracy and a superior breed deserving of power and privilege. Homos are supposed to BE the aristocracy but TALK the victim-hood.

There is freedom of mutual respect and the freedom of narcissism-nihilism that turns cancerous into tyranny. It’s cancerous because such freedom always wants more. All the many cells in the body have their roles and place. So, each has a limited ‘freedom’ among many other cells. But cells-gone-cancerous demand more freedom and space for themselves, and they began to spread and take over and tyrannize other cells until the body grows sick and dies.
Homos have always been cells with high likelihood of going cancerous because of the ‘gay’ tendency toward self-adulation, narcissism, and vanity. So, once homos were allowed to run wild, they wanted more and more, everything. Entire city streets for celebration. Terms ‘gay’ and ‘pride’ were made synonymous with homosexuality. Schools were made to propagandize homomania. Courts were made to allow ‘gay marriage’ and destroy bakeries that won’t bend over. And even churches were infiltrated and taken over to fly homo flags.
When a kind of hyper-freedom wants more and more freedom, it has to trample on the freedom of others. Thus, freedom-gone-wild turns tyrannical. We now have trannies saying they are women and should play women’s sports. And they should have the ‘right’ to force us to call a man with a wig as a ‘she’.. or even ‘they’. So, homos and trannies went from wanting a place in the sun to being the sun itself. And because powerful Jews see homos as proxy-Jews and see Homomania as useful replacement of Christianity(a religion they loathe with all their heart), they fanned the flames.

    Freedom works like Property.
People have a right to property, but Greed is the desire to have more and more and ultimately everything. Greed eventually robs OTHERS of property.
People have a right to freedom, but Nihilism is the desire to have all the freedom for oneself and one’s own kind. So, Jewish activists say ‘hate speech'(anything critical of Jewish power) must be shut down but it’s okay for AIPAC to compel all Americans to praise Israel. We are told BDS is ‘hate’ but Zionism is the most wonderful thing. And we don’t have a choice. We better agree… or be blacklisted.

Also, so much of sexual degeneracy has a tendency toward dominance and humiliation. There is always an element of power in sex because, even in the most conservative marriage, the male is dominant over the woman(and woman is attracted to the dominant male). But with marriage and morality, there are limits to the game of domination and there is fidelity and mutual cooperation in raising the kids. In EYES WIDE SHUT, we see what can happen to sexuality when it deviates from the ideal of fidelity. Without being bound to morality and conventions, it fantasizes about endless lust and domination and submission.

Sexual degeneracy ‘liberated’ from moral restrictions keeps pushing the envelope in the game of power. AMERICAN PSYCHO would have been more honest had it been a story of a ‘gay’ psycho as homos tend to be ‘freest'(and therefore most tyrannical and domineering) in sexuality. Of course, homos would rather not have us think about this side of homo culture. It’s why they went crazy mad over Friedkin’s CRUISING that showed the disturbing underbelly of homo culture.

Power without limits is amoral, and such amorality can become attached to just about anything. We are used to thinking of sexual degeneracy as ‘progressive’, but nihilism can attach itself to any desire to dominate and tyrannize. Consider pedo-perversion among Afghanis. There was the redneck sodomite in DELIVERANCE.

Pasolini, who reveled in his homosexuality but also felt troubled by his own privileged exploitation of lumpen youths, tried to explain the sickness as ‘fascism’. His last film, SALO(one of the worst films of all time), features fascist-capitalist-clergy raping & torturing girls and boys. These tyrants go both hetero and homo in their vileness.

Difference between Pasolini and Tarantino is whereas Pasolini felt troubled by degeneracy(to which he was attracted), Tarantino seems so easy with it, feels at home with it. It’s laughing nihilism. (In PF, even redneck crack-ers are into decadent sado-masochism.) And ‘justice’ is just more insanity piled atop insanity. A nihil-burger.

4chan, which was once the bleeding edge of online freedom of speech, bans a particular criticism of the People’s Republic of China. The ostensible reason is to eliminate “pasta” — copied and pasted preformatted messages, which are technically illegal because they are not original content, but which in practice are largely tolerated, and in many cases foundational to meme culture. An awful lot of pasta that doesn’t anger Brother Eleven would never get banned.
Recently, completely undisguised fiftycenters have been polluting more and more boards (not just /pol/). The initial thinking was that they could be hoisted by their own petard, that mention of Uighurs or Tiananmen Square would upset them, but this achieved nothing. Chinese have ad hoc morality and fiftycenters are government agents whose loyalty is not in doubt. Exposing a normal Chinese citizen to forbidden material might work, but a fiftycenter, never.

The anti-Chinese copypasta containing a number of politically sensitive topics that supposedly gets Chinese users banned and vanned, as well as mentions of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, is now getting everyone that reposts it a day-long ban.

    “Official” mod explanation here:

    http://boards.4channel.org/qa/thread/2488961#p2489091

What on earth could be going on here? I don’t remember any pasta being outright verboten, not even foreign-language ones. Since the Muslim “internment camps” are a hot, albeit muted topic, could Gookmoot be intentionally working with the CCP on this?

Seems like an unintended consequence of the selective “equal treatment” theme running amok. But for the most part, I agree it’s an outrageous penalty. Doesn’t sound crazy at all, Mike. The push to declare that sex, “gender,” and sexuality are socialized and malleable, as opposed to irreducible biological realities, is a key objective to securing a coercive sexual regime. It won’t be long before we start hearing that a boy who “feels” like a boy, and has always and only felt so, is the product of an overly parochial, and therefore discriminatory, socialization.

The solution, advanced in the name of societal “fairness” and the urgent need to expose children to a range of options so they can make informed choices, will be to “educate” pubescent children in the wonders of a variety of sexual experiences. As in every educative setting, the teachers will have to be older than the pupils, to guide the young and inexperienced into mature ways of sexuality. It will all be presented as very logical, very humane, and all for the sake of edifying the young.

As our culture drifts further into outright paganism, it’s only natural that it should reappraise and revive the old pagan practice of pederasty. Again, it will all be done in the name of liberation, choice, and good taste. Of course, the real reason will be to allow lecherous adults to forcibly bang your children. Don’t even try to opt out, you bigot.

  67. It’s past time to put an end to our country’s shameful legacy of Oboe Supremacy!

Apparently, Mass. has one of those retarded “comparable worth” laws. So, because the flutist (flutette?) is a female they have to decide if playing the Oboe and flute must be paid the same.

My favorite part of the WaPo article is the tortured math and grammer used to explain why this is just a social justice travesty.

Although four other principal BSO players — all men — earn more than Rowe, the orchestra notes that she is paid more than nine other principals, of which only one, harpist Jessica Zhou, is a woman. Rowe has been given occasional raises, and her current salary is $250,149 a year.

Got that. There are a total of 14 players. Of these, the heroine of the story is the fourth highest paid and makes more than 9 out of 12 (75%) of the men. Obvious sex discrimination./s

No literate human would write that debacle of a sentence unless he were a straight-up propagandist trying to delibetately confuse the reader into ignoring the relevant facts. Same for any editor who would let it get into print like that.

(Also, never mind that if all the instruments are of “comparable worth” she would be the one taking a pay cut to subsidize the other players.)

This collapse of the progressive stack phenomenon is similar to a recent event in Canada.
    http://archive.is/I31Gr
Summary: Larry Wasslen is a hospital worker and a middle-aged commie. He came to Parliament Hill in Ottawa to protest the UN genocide pact Trudeau will soon be bringing into Canadian law. Even though he’s a vague boomer leftist whose social media lists ties to such groups as the South African Communist Party, he believes that immigrants to Canada should assimilate and obey local laws.
Antifa tried to grab his sign and Wasslen, perhaps unwittingly, perhaps slyly, mistook antifa for “white supremacists.” The white supremacists clarified: “Nazi scum off our streets,” referring to Larry the watered-down white-haired communist.
Canadian media isn’t reporting on it more because Canadians have no rights and their media is below the level of that in the Soviet Union.

“I have no problem with people who want to come here and who want to work,” he added, “but I live in Toronto and I’ll tell you that, right now, every hotel and university dorm room is full of outsiders and nobody’s trying to speak English.”

Another “Nazi” Communist at the same event:

“We moved to Ottawa from Montreal in 1982, and it was very rare to hear of any crime then, and now it’s daily … shootings.”

“White males still dominate corporate boardrooms,” Menendez survey finds. “U.S. corporate board rooms remain overwhelming white and male.”

The survey was conducted by U.S. Sen. Robert Menendez, who has regularly studied the top companies with an eye toward increasing the number of women and minorities in corporate suites. Despite the progress since his last survey, Menendez said Congress may need to act to prod corporations to increase diversity.

“In the decades since the Civil Right Act, the focus of Congress and of government in general has shifted away from strongly enforced civil rights and equal employment opportunity laws toward voluntary efforts to realize diversity and its benefits,” Menendez said. “The time to legislate for equal opportunity may be upon us once again.”

Menendez said the need for diversity in the top rungs of corporations continues to increase as the U.S. moves towards becoming a majority-minority nation. Citing statistics from the Pew Research Center, Menendez said the white population will drop to 46 percent by 2056.

50 Shades of Grey along with that Twilight thang rounded out by Pacific Rim are all chick fantasies.

Let’s start with 50 Shades. Do guys fantasize being a tech billionaire, having a really hot chick wanting to make passionate love to them all the time, but no, not being satisfied unless you can slap her heiny? This is totally a girl world view. I can picture a guy, getting rich, getting the woman who wants to do the regular deed, but then his eye wandering over to some other cute babe, because that is what dudes do. But torture room? Non-disclosure agreement? I don’t think so — this is silliness that only a woman writer can dream up.

Twilight. I “get” the tech billionaire thing, but vampire? Vampires are Halloween dress-up, they don’t exist. And even if your teen heartthrob was a vampire, do you really want to get started with such a guy with so many other non-vampire guys who would like to pair up with a pretty girl?

Pacific Rim. OK, I get that too, because of a Japanese fantasy about the unforseen consequences of atomic testing, we get those monsters emerging from the deep ocean rifts, and you cannot fight them by dropping a nuke on them (that only spawns yet more monsters?), you have to build these monster human-piloted robots to fight them. But the robot cannot have a single pilot, there has to be two pilots who do this kind of black-fraternity synchronized dance to operate the robot’s limbs. But then the two pilots have to be so well synchronized that their minds need to be connected by some electronic linkage. They have to “share their inner feelings” with each other — you can see where this is going.

Women have this thing that they can’t take a guy for what he is, they have to change him, and they are completely unfulfilled until they do. You want to make love but your billionaire-next-door wants to slap your backside until you scream. There are so many other dudes into the love making part and with zero interest in the B&D part, some of them billionaires, but you can’t leave this guy alone, you have to nag him until he gives up his “habit.” There are so many nice non-vampire guys, but you got yourself a guy who is a vampire, and vampires suck blood because that is what vampires do, but no, you got to change him into not sucking blood? And what is this freakin’ thing that you have to share your innermost feelings with your co-pilot?

So the two immigrant ladies in that odd lesbian relationship — ’nuff said?
